        The same thing happens every time Bucky takes the kids to their ballet lessons: they all have a ridiculous amount of fun, their skills growing with each visit, bodies shifting from clumsy to graceful, all while he sits on one of the benches in the corner, in awe of the dancing as much as he’s in awe of the instructor. It’s never boring, always something he looks forward to, both to see the kids enjoying themselves as well as for the company. He waits patiently, mostly as an interested spectator, but also to give a firm look or talking to in the case of a child being too rowdy. With Natasha’s tutelage, it’s rarely necessary.

At the end of the class while the children are running off to gather their things, Bucky approaches the redhead, whistling low. “I still don’t know how you do it, Natasha,” He murmurs, grinning. “How you move like that, how you get the kids to move like that. I can’t even get ‘em to sit still for me half the time.”

I am 85% for buckynat. Somedays I’m like, ugh, no. But mostly? It’s fuck yes. I went through a period where I didn’t quite like them, but honestly, they’re fucking gorgeous together, and I’d like to think I grew up from the “one true pairing” shit mentality I had a few years ago.

That was the best response to the Bucky post--especially your tags. I ship Stucky and it's always funny when someone (usually a B/ckynat stan) says that Bucky's character is the one that fandom shortchanges. I mean, it's a large enough ship that there's always decent Steve stuff, but the majority is Bucky-centric (I don't mind because I'm a sucker for the WS storyline when it's handled well, but I always feel like apologizing to the non-Bucky/Stucky parts of the MCU fandom (except TS stans).

agsgdghgglh and it’s so obvious too. Like most buckynats are tonkies and they absolute hate that a Bucky ship where Steve is the other half of the pairing has so much traction in canon and fandom, so they’re constantly trying to push this narrative where Bucky fans are the underdogs or something and Stucky is all about Steve and therefore Bucky deserves better. And it’s such a blatant lie considering how Bucky centric Stucky is...just the audacity is kind of hilarious actually. 

But also the part that really cracked me up was...~Bucky deserves better than to be stuck by Steve’s side 24/7, he deserves to be stuck by....Tony Stark’s side instead!~ I could just feel the waves of genuine concern for Bucky’s character exuding from that line.

Cevans asked about TS: Tiny & Stove are two sides of the same coin. they complete each other. they need each other. Me: I thought Stove didn't care about Tiny? I thought they were never friends?? The Stonies and Buckyn/ts have pulled crap outside fandom too -more relating to comic things than MCU things I think, so that stuff gets talked about less (a lot of looniness comes from the actor's standoms also, unrelated to shipping). Like groovy mentioned earlier, the Stucky fandom's bad behavior, since it's the most visible, has become an easy way for the other fandoms to deflect criticism- "Well we're not THAT bad", but it's a moot point when they're being toxic regardless.

Yep. All the of this ~le demon stuckies~ claims Stonies, buckynats etc have pushed for so long has less to do with any genuine desire to make fandom less terrible and more to do with deflection from their own obnoxious behaviour. And also a lot of the more rabid Tony stans ship both Stony and Buckynat. There's a lot of overlap between the worst Tony stans and the worst Bucky/Seb stans. (S)Tony stans were just as horrible (even if they were less visible) about Sharon. They just did a volte face after CW when Steve was ~cancelled~ or whatever. They have been routinely known to take their shit out on the actors.So...you know...when someone who ships either or both those ships and is clearly a Tony/RDJ and/or Bucky/Seb Stan fan starts wanking about those Stuckies I get real suspicious because they know damn well what their own standoms have been doing.

It seems like the tone she uses in her latest run with Noto as artist (I love that run). Clearly I need to branch out and read some NatBucky here, I do like the pairing but haven't sought out fics on it.

Thank you! :)  Interestingly enough, I haven’t read many fics either?  Then again, I tend not to read a lot of fics except short oneshots.  But I know there are quite a few of those for Nat/Bucky in my fic recs tag (if you’re curious, hehe)!  I just tend not to read fics unless I can get them read in a few minutes, I suppose.  Attention thing, I guess!  But the pairing is one of my favorites--definitely OTP level for me.
