Research for Gaza & Sudan
Hello everyone, this is my attempt in helping Raise funds for 3 campaigns that are in dire need and are extremely low on funds.
What I can do:
I am a physics major & have access to neat software such as HyperChem & Gaussian 09 and know how to use both efficiently. I can help build & do the necessary calculations for your modules. I can help you find resources for your research, and I am open to doing math and/or physics homework, as well.
How does this work?
DM me your requirements WITH CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS & a screenshot of your donations and I will start on it as soon as I can.
• For HyperChem & Gaussian 09: you need to donate €25 to each of the two gaza campaigns I have below.
I think this is a more than fair price given that licenses for both softwares range from 50$-2500$ (in the academics alone!)
• For searching resources: you need to donate €10 for the Sudanese campaign below.
• For homework: you need to donate €10 to any of the campaigns below.
NOTE: I am NOT responsible for Your deadlines. If your request needs time to run or I am doing someone else's commission before you, you WILL have to wait.
The campaigns:
Al-Najjar family - vetted here
Abdul Aziz's family - vetted here
ThomaSerena - vetted here & here

Doing this on anon for obvious reasons but is there any chance of getting hired as an entry level game dev in 2025? I've been unemployed for nearly two years since graduating from uni and I'm just getting rejection after rejection from game companies. All the posts are looking for senior devs, team leads, or managers. I have friends who've given up on the industry entirely. Is there any hope? Or am I fighting a losing battle here...
In times of economic difficulty or uncertainty, the number of overall jobs decreases because the number of cancellations rises. New studios do start up, but entry level positions are rare since most of the new studios are looking for funding and they need the core senior dev team to build enough of a prototype to sell the idea to the money people. Were I in your place, I would do two things - I would first widen my search to look for work in adjacent fields where I could train my primary skills, and I would secondly do amateur game dev in my spare time to use as experience as I apply for new jobs.
The first approach is to get a game dev adjacent job. If you're an artist, this could mean illustration, commissions, contract work, or whatever else. Engineering could mean working in simulation software, B2B stuff, graphics, user interface, server engineering, and so on. Producers should focus project management positions and the like. Designers are probably the hardest to find something nearby, a UX designer position or maybe working in training/simulation software or casino games would be a decent fit. Regardless what it is you find, find something to earn some money while you try to get the real job you want.
Secondly, work on your own game dev project in your spare time. Create art assets, build gameplay systems, create game content, do stuff to level up and grow your skills. The self-driven project experience will be noticed on your resume when you apply to positions. We hiring managers want to see that kind of stuff on resumes, especially if you can't find a job in the field. We know that finding a job is hard, we won't hold it against you when we're hiring at entry level.
It's important to remember that entry level work has lots of applicants. Luck plays as large a part in the hiring process as the resume and skills. This could mean that the hiring manager has already selected a candidate or has a candidate further along in the interview process than you at the time of application, or that we already have an offer out for someone, or that the project has changed and the position is a ghost job that the recruiters haven't taken down yet. As such, it's a numbers game - the more shots you take, the more likely you'll get a response (especially if you take the time to [optimize your chances]). If you really want to work professionally as a game dev, you need determination to keep going. Find something to pay the bills, keep doing it in your spare time, and update your resume before firing off a fresh round of applications every six months or so.

Hi, I'm Osaka
I'm a hobbyist designer, and I research esoteric concepts on the periphery of mecha to find new views nobody else is writing about. I also am obsesed with trying to push the genre forwards.
I also took up programming to build a game faster than ACFA, more airborne than Ace Combat, and more "art of the blade" than Zone of the Enders 2 by studying mecha games through the lens of published declassified military grade airwar and psywar human factors engineering and psychology concepts.
I want to make this game about mechposting and the trans experience, but I need your help: not money, but to speak with you about mecha.
The writing is simultaniously equal parts thesis to microfic a lot of the time, so your milage may vary.
Scroll through the mess below and find what suits you best.
Please.
Mecha Theory Writing
A comprehensive explanation of the evolutionary path from conventional ground and air vehicles, including a comprehensive outline of a functioning control-design based on the inceptor/software model seen in unmanned drones and 5th gen aircraft, complete with explanations.
The evolution of the walking thing called “mecha" (original)
Chapter 0: Establishing terminology & Concepts Part 1: Defining "the mechaness" of something: the 8 principles of mecha Part 2: Feisability: Mecha aren't realistic, but not for the reason you think
Chapter 1: How does "mecha" come into existence/why would you want one? Part 1: An evolution from ground vehicles of today Part 2: Skating, to walking, to running, to flight Part 3: “Why transform in the vacuum of space?”

How To Domesticate Your Pilot
A husbandry guide for handlers, consisting of opinions and thoughts from various trainers and operators, as well as pilots. Includes practices, procedures, articles, stories and snippets.
I'm currently testing the waters with snippets and will likely be posting it out of order. I am extremely hungry for any and all possible feedback
If anybody knows the original source of the image of the eyes (which I first saw in a youtube ad) I'd love to know. I very much would like to commission them.

On mecha design: My personal thoughts on the assemblies of shape, form in the context of motion, action and function 1. Does anybody else have physical characteristics they find the most appealing? 2. Thoughts on self-altering dynamic form, and proportion designs 3. Shoji Kawamori and Armored Core: designers hallucinate, but do they hallucinate too? 4. Why is Gundam Gquuuuux called Gundam Gquuuuux?

Watcher's Expenses
I didn't major in accounting: I took three classes and it grinded my brain to a fine powder. However, after graduating with a business admin degree, being a former eager fan of their videos, and from a cursory glance over their socials, there's a lot to consider in their spending behavior that really could start racking up costs. Some of these things we've already noticed, but there are other things I'd like to highlight, and I'll try to break it down into the different categories of accounting expenses (if I get something wrong, let me know. I was more concentrated in marketing 🤷♀️). I'm not going to hypothesize numbers either, as that would take out more time than I'm willing to afford-- you can assume how much everything costs. Anyways, here's my attempt at being a layman forensic accountant:
Note: All of this is assuming they're operating above board and not engaging in any illegal practices such as money laundering, tax evasion, not paying rent, etc.
Operating Expenses
Payroll: 25+ staff salaries and insurance
Overhead Expenses
CEO/founder salaries
Office space leasing or rent (In L.A, one of the most expensive cities in the US)
Utilities (water, electricity, heating, sanitation, etc.)
Insurance
Advertising Costs
Telephone & Internet service
Cloud Storage or mainframe
Office equipment (furniture, computers, printers, etc.)
Office supplies (paper, pens, printer ink, etc.)
Marketing costs (Social media marketing on Instagram, Youtube, SEO for search engines, Twitter, etc. Designing merchandise and posters, art, etc. )
Human Resources (not sure how equipped they are)
Accounting fees
Property taxes
Legal fees
Licensing fees
Website maintenance (For Watchertv.com, Watcherstuff.com, & Watcherentertainment.com)
Expenses regarding merchandising (whoever they contract or outsource for that)
Inventory costs
Potentially maintenance of company vehicles
Subsequent gas mileage for road trips
Depreciation (pertains to tangible assets like buildings and equipment)
Amortization (intangible assets such as patents and trademarks)
Overhead Travel and Entertainment Costs (I think one of the biggest culprits, evident in their videos and posts)
The travel expenses (flights, train trips, rental cars, etc. For main team and scouts)
Hotel expenses for 7-8 people at least, or potentially more
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners with the crew (whether that's fully on their dime or not, I don't know; Ryan stated they like to cover that for the most part)
Recreational activities (vacation destinations, amusement parks, sporting activities etc.)
The location fees
Extraneous Overhead costs (not sure exactly where these fall under, but another culprit, evident in videos and posts)
Paying for guest appearances
Expensive filming & recording equipment (Cameras, sound equipment, editing software subscriptions, etc.)
The overelaborate sets for Ghost files, Mystery Files, Puppet History, Podcasts etc. (Set dressing: Vintage memorabilia, antiquated tech, vintage furniture, props, etc.)
Kitchen & Cooking supplies/equipment
Office food supply; expensive food and drink purchases for videos
Novelty items or miscellaneous purchases (ex. Ghost hunting equipment, outfits, toys, etc.)
Non-Operating Expenses
These are those expenses that cannot be linked back to operating revenue. One of the most common examples of non-operating expenses is interest expense. This is because while interest is the cost of borrowing money from a creditor or a bank, they are not generating any operating income. This makes interest payments a part of non-operating expenses.
Financial Expenses
Potential loan payments, borrowing from creditors or lenders, bank loans, etc.
Variable Expenses
Hiring a large amount of freelancers, overtime expenditure, commissions, etc.
PR consultations (Not sure if they had this before the scandal)
Extraordinary Expenses
Expenses incurred outside your company’s regular business activities and during a large one-time event or transactions. For example, selling land, disposal of a significant asset, laying off of your employees, unexpected machine repairing or replacement, etc.
Accrued Expenses
When your business has incurred an expense but not yet paid for it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(If there's anything else I'm missing, please feel free to add or correct things)
To a novice or a young entrepreneur, this can be very intimidating if you don't have the education or the support to manage it properly. I know it intimidates the hell out of me and I'm still having to fill in the gaps (again, if I've mislabeled or gotten anything wrong here, please let me know). For the artistic or creative entrepreneur, it can be even harder to reconcile the extent of your creative passions with your ability to operate and scale your business at a sustainable rate. That can lead to irresponsible, selfish, and impulsive decisions that could irreparably harm your brand, which is a whole other beast of its own.
My guess at this point is that their overhead and operation expenses are woefully mismanaged; they've made way too many extraneous purchases, and that they had too much confidence in their audience of formerly 2.93 million to make up for the expenses they failed to cover.
It almost seems as if their internal logic was, "If we make more money, we can keep living the expensive lifestyle that we want and make whatever we want without anyone telling us we can't, and we want to do it NOW, sooner rather than later because we don't want wait and compromise our vision." But as you can see, the reality of fulfilling those ambitions is already compromised by the responsibility of running a business.
And I wrote this in another post here, but I'll state it again: Running a business means you need to be educated on how a business can successfully and efficiently operate. Accounting, marketing, social media marketing, public relations, production, etc; these resources and internet of things is available and at your disposal. If they had invested more time in educating themselves on those aspects and not made this decision based on artistic passion (and/or greed), they would have not gotten the response they got.
Being a graphic designer, I know the creative/passionate side of things but I also got a degree/got educated in business because I wanted to understand how to start a company and run it successfully. If they’re having trouble handling the responsibility of doing that, managing production costs, managing overhead expenses, and especially with compensating their 25+ employees, then they should hire professionals that are sympathetic to their creative interests, but have the education and experience to reign in bad decisions like these.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my TedTalk. What a shitshow this has been.

Journey to a Water World: NASA’s Europa Clipper Is Ready to Launch
Find details about the launch sequences for the orbiter, which is targeting an Oct. 14 liftoff on its mission to search for ingredients of life at Jupiter’s moon Europa.
In less than 24 hours, NASA’s Europa Clipper spacecraft is slated to launch from the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida aboard a Falcon Heavy rocket. Its sights are set on Jupiter’s ice-encased moon Europa, which the spacecraft will fly by 49 times, coming as close as 16 miles (25 kilometers) from the surface as it searches for ingredients of life.
Launch is set for 12:06 p.m. EDT on Monday, Oct. 14, with additional opportunities through Nov 6. Each opportunity is instantaneous, meaning there is only one exact time per day when launch can occur. Plans to launch Europa Clipper on Oct. 10 were delayed due to impacts of Hurricane Milton.
With its massive solar arrays extended, Europa Clipper could span a basketball court (100 feet, or 30.5 meters, tip to tip). In fact, it’s the largest spacecraft NASA has ever built for a planetary mission. The journey to Jupiter is a long one — 1.8 billion miles (2.9 billion kilometers) — and rather than taking a straight path there, Europa Clipper will loop around Mars and then Earth, gaining speed as it swings past.
The spacecraft will begin orbiting Jupiter in April 2030, and in 2031 it will start making those 49 science-focused flybys of Europa while looping around the gas giant. The orbit is designed to maximize the science Europa Clipper can conduct and minimize exposure to Jupiter’s notoriously intense radiation.
But, of course, before any of that can happen, the spacecraft has to leave Earth behind. The orbiter’s solar arrays are folded and stowed for launch. Testing is complete on the spacecraft’s various systems and its payload of nine science instruments and a gravity science investigation. Loaded with over 6,060 pounds (2,750 kilograms) of the propellant that will get Europa Clipper to Jupiter, the spacecraft has been encapsulated in the protective nose cone, or payload fairing, atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, which is poised for takeoff from historic Launch Complex 39A.
Launch Sequences
The Falcon Heavy has two stages and two side boosters. After the side boosters separate, the core stage will be expended into the Atlantic Ocean. Then the second stage of the rocket, which will help Europa Clipper escape Earth’s gravity, will fire its engine.
Once the rocket is out of Earth’s atmosphere, about 50 minutes after launch, the payload fairing will separate from its ride, split into two halves, and fall safely back to Earth, where it will be recovered and reused. The spacecraft will then separate from the upper stage about an hour after launch. Stable communication with the spacecraft is expected by about 19 minutes after separation from the rocket, but it could take somewhat longer.
About three hours after launch, Europa Clipper will deploy its pair of massive solar arrays, one at a time, and direct them at the Sun.
Mission controllers will then begin to reconfigure the spacecraft into its planned operating mode. The ensuing three months of initial checkout include a commissioning phase to confirm that all hardware and software is operating as expected.
While Europa Clipper is not a life-detection mission, it will tell us whether Europa is a promising place to pursue an answer to the fundamental question about our solar system and beyond: Are we alone?
Scientists suspect that the ingredients for life — water, chemistry, and energy — could exist at the moon Europa right now. Previous missions have found strong evidence of an ocean beneath the moon’s thick icy crust, potentially with twice as much liquid water as all of Earth’s oceans combined. Europa may be home to organic compounds, which are essential chemical building blocks for life. Europa Clipper will help scientists confirm whether organics are there, and also help them look for evidence of energy sources under the moon’s surface.
More About Europa Clipper
Europa Clipper’s three main science objectives are to determine the thickness of the moon’s icy shell and its interactions with the ocean below, to investigate its composition, and to characterize its geology. The mission’s detailed exploration of Europa will help scientists better understand the astrobiological potential for habitable worlds beyond our planet.
Managed by Caltech in Pasadena, California, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory leads the development of the Europa Clipper mission in partnership with the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) for NASA’s Science Mission Directorate in Washington. APL designed the main spacecraft body in collaboration with JPL and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland; NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama; and NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. The Planetary Missions Program Office at Marshall executes program management of the Europa Clipper mission.
NASA’s Launch Services Program, based at Kennedy, manages the launch service for the Europa Clipper spacecraft, which will launch on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy.

news for next year and my new years resolutions! (THAT IM GOING TO BRUTE FORCE MYSELF TO MAKE HAPPEN! I NEED TO PULL MYSELF TOGETHER YOU HAVE NO IDEA)
to start making more complex scene builds in sfm. things like making pockets bedroom, or more forest scene builds like i did in my "the game" comic since it was really fun to put in little details and make it look full and lived in/untouched.
now that i know i have a software that i KNOW i can use to make decent quality animations and have somewhere to post them, im planning to do more animatics and AM GOING TO teach myself to animate. things i WILL BE MAKING are demo reels for my film and characters, an "im gonna win" animatic segment for pocket, "pockets big date!" visual novel comic on my youtube, more shitposts using sfm, things like that.
IM GOING TO GET ONTO THE FANFIC. im going to do it i promise, its just harder to do when you lose motivation and move onto other projects. if it took valve 7 years to make the last instalment of the tf2 comics, then its ok for me to take a few years on the first chapter.
im thinking about setting up a kofi or SOMETHING to earn money on for here. im thinking about charging money for animated commissions only. eg: £5 for a short animation, £10 for a one minuet clip, and £15 for a 3 minuet+ clip. im thinking its a good start and fairly priced for the amount of effort i put into it. still thinking about it though. these can be things like silly little memes or eeeven some spicer content eheheh (gotta reveal to my foster mama that i have a tumblr first. also when you inevitably read this, hiiii i love you! sorry for keeping this a secret for so long i was really scared that you'd be mad :( )
im planning to do more comics like i did with "the game" since @rainderthesomeone is no longer continuing theirs and will be continuing the last one they were doing, which was actually an old plot i wrote down in 2020.
im thinking of dropping out of collage tbh cus its not doing anything for me. i've been told im defiantly worthy of working at level 2, but im stuck in level one learning EVERYTHING I ALREADY KNOW like how to use acrylic paints and water colour paints and fucking- BASIC SHIT YOU DO IN HIGHSCHOOL YEAR 7! and im only stuck in level one because i failed my maths n' English which I DONT NEED UNLESS IM DOING ARCITECHTURE OR INFASTRUCTURE or some shit like that! its not worth wasting my time over so I'm gonna try and like y'know... NOT GO.
if i cant do rusted iron helmets, i might start indulging in some pocket X soldier fics because god they make me sick and at this point pocket is literally just my self insert. making them go on stupid adventured together and mutually pining for each other except one doesn't know they're pining and the other is clawing at the walls thinking about the other.
im going to start working more on building up my animation studio, or at least prepare for it. and by that i mean looking for any high paying jobs and working on what's gonna be my first debut film. i gotta commit to this NOW or else i'll NEVER do it. i wanna be able to save animated films and set a new example.

Day 17 is Magical Malfunction
@maribat-calendar-events
Link to AO3
Alya gave the all clear and Marinette was officially given a covert op. It looked like it was going to be a long process, her accepting the commission being only the beginning. It was fairly simple; she just needed to work with Lex, making clothes and then delivering it to his office in Metropolis where she would also put a USB into a computer to give Tim access to the internal system. With that, hopefully he would be able to find out if there were any more weapons factories that might have kryptonite in them.
Tim worked on making the USB drive as nondescript as possible but didn't worry too much, given how long he had before it would be useful. Hell, she hadn't even had a reply to set up a formal meeting, so it would be a while before she could reasonably go to Metropolis.
The upside of all this was that he had plenty of time to explain the situation to Kon, who had been acting slightly off ever since Marinette had first received the offer to work with LexCorp. He needed to find a way to ensure he didn't get too angry about Marinette working with Lex.
He sighed and checked the software again before closing his laptop and checking the time. The Miraculous team were due to go on a mission in New Orleans the following evening and none of the Bats were invited. Kon and Cassie had been requested so Tim planned to be on the WatchTower in case they wanted help.
For now, he planned to get as much rest as possible.
_ _ _
“Okay, you have your mission brief,” Adrien said, eyes unusually serious. “Superboy, Wonder Girl, if you find the Miraculous before we do call one of us over via comms. Mouse, you take the east, Scar the west, I'll go north and Wonder Girl south. Superboy, you check through the centre and go wherever anyone needs help, okay?”
Marinette nodded and bounded away, buns bouncing along as she used her jump rope to swing from building to building. The Miraculous they were looking for was mostly unknown, although Adrien believed it was a pin, and that the animal it was linked to was a platypus.
It was the first Kwami they'd caught wind of through the Justice League so far, part of a newer box based in America, and it had been missing for a decade from what they could tell. Su Han had explained that the book linked to this particular box didn't fully explain the Kwami’s power, though it translated roughly to ‘nullification’. Marinette wasn't sure what it would be able to do, but she was nervous.
After an hour, she went to check in. She had gained both Adrien's and Kon's attention when her transformation started to drop, mid swing. She gave a short scream and focused on landing safely, her eyes flashing around her surroundings.
She landed in someone's arms and slithered immediately to the floor. It took her a moment to recognise Kon and his mouth dropped open after he got a good look at her, his hands still on her elbows. He was silent for half a minute before he started to talk.
“Wait, you're-” Kon said, his brain lagging. He didn't…what was Marinette doing here? She was exactly where Multimouse had been, falling out of the sky and there had been a flash of light as she did. His hands on her arms were the only thing that convinced him he wasn't imagining things.
Marinette jumped closer to him and covered his mouth with her hand. She looked panicked and her eyes were darting around to make sure they wouldn't be overheard. She dragged him into an alley, away from the empty street and did a sweep before turning back to him.
“Thanks for letting me move you,” she said without preamble, shooting him a strained smile. “Look, I need to get back to what I was doing but I have to find out what happened to Mullo first and I don't have time to deal with your revelations, okay?”
“Yeah, sure, of course,” Kon said, heart racing at how closely she was standing. “Uh, what's a Mullo?”
“My Kwami,” she said, looking away from him to search for it. “Around yea big, grey, mouse shaped, talks a lot. I don't like that she just vanished while I was transformed and I don't know what triggered it so I'm going to need to contact Scar and Chat so they don't come anywhere near this until we work out what the hell happened.”
There was a movement at the end of the alley and, before Kon could work out what was happening, she'd spun them both around so that her back was against the wall. He braced a hand next to her so he didn't crush her but had to swallow hard to keep from yelping at the sudden extreme close-up of her eyes.
He didn't have to worry too much about getting caught in them because they closed really fast and she reached up to press her lips to his in a chaste kiss. Whatever brain cells he thought he'd had were completely fried and he was only vaguely aware of his free hand pressing against her hip.
“Superboy? Mouse?” Chat's voice sounded from the end of the alleyway and Marinette pressed her hands on his chest to push him away. “What happened? You disappeared off the map and-”
“I don't know,” Marinette said, running a hand through her hair and focusing wholly on Chat. It gave Kon a moment to gather as many of his wits as he could and he was grateful for it. “The only thing I can think is that someone must be pulling a Kwami Buster because I can't find Mullo. I was about to try and get in touch to tell you not to come here but clearly it's a me problem.”
Chat relayed the information to Scarabella and his look turned grim. There was a very short back and forth via their magical comms before Chat turned to Superboy again.
“Okay, we need to get M out of here immediately. SB, can you fly her to safety whilst I talk to the guardian and get his input. M, can you renounce Mullo when you're safe and then hopefully you can release her after a short break. We'll call when we know what's going on, but you can't be here.”
“Got it, tell Scar I'm sorry but my identity was compromised again,” she replied, looking frustrated and upset. Kon placed his hand back on her hip from behind, trying to comfort her. “I'll understand if this is the end of Multimouse, and I'll let you know if Mullo returns.”
“It's not the end, the only person who saw you this time is Superboy, right?” Chat said gently, offering her a hug, which she accepted immediately. Then his voice turned teasing when he said, “But I'm going to need a full rundown of what happened, from when Mullo disappeared to when I found you in the alleyway.”
She spluttered a little and slapped Chat's arm as he darted out of the way. Then she was looking back up at Kon, her face red. He didn't wait, sweeping her up into his arms and trying to ignore the blush on his own cheeks. She rested against him, curled up enough that she wasn't awkward to carry and her limbs weren't at risk of creating too much drag.
They were through the Zeta Tube before too long and he hurried her away to a soundproof room so she wouldn't be caught up by anyone who didn't already know her identity. It was strange to see her so serious as a civilian, giving him a weird sense of unreality to see Multimouse's personality dressed as Marinette.
“Mullo, I renounce you,” she murmured, removing her necklace. There was a flash of light and the Miraculous changed shape slightly. She turned to Kon, biting her lip and looking worried. “You should probably head back to help Scar and Chat, I'll be fine up here. Maybe send Red Robin or something to come keep me company?”
“Yeah, of course. Uh, before I go, about the whole thing in the alleyw-”
“Oh, um, I'm sorry for that,” she said, flushing deeply and averting her gaze again. “I just figured people might be more willing to overlook us if they thought something else was going on. But if it overstepped your boundaries you can report me, or I can resign from the League-”
“Whoa, hey, that's, uh, that's not where…I didn't mind,” he said hurriedly, running his hand through his hair. She sagged, presumably in relief, and he bit back the urge to tell her he absolutely wanted to do it again. Maybe in the privacy of his room at the Tower. Coughing at the sudden mental image and trying to clear it, he turned away. “But I'll send the first Bat I find to keep you company,” he croaked before all but running away.
_ _ _
Adrien returned to the WatchTower, exhausted and worried about Marinette. Both he and Alya followed Superboy to the room he had stashed her in before returning to help them both. They'd divided Marinette's section amongst themselves and found the Miraculous maybe one street over from where she had been.
The Kwami had been just as friendly as all the others Adrien had ever met and apologised profusely for causing a problem with Mullo. They were near polar opposites, nullification versus multiplication, and because Marinette had been transformed at the time it had led to her power being nullified.
“Chat! Did you find it?” Marinette asked as soon as she saw them, eyes flickering away from him and over his left shoulder before returning to his. “Scar, I'm so so so sorry, I didn't mean-”
“Chill, girl, it's fine,” Alya said, coming over and wrapping her arms around her. Marinette relaxed into the hug, tears prickling her eyes. “We don't blame you, this could have happened to anyone using Mullo. And it's not like Superboy's going to say anything,” Alya added, turning a glare on Kon.
“No ma'am,” he drawled, grinning at Marinette and winking. He still didn't look completely comfortable but she figured it was the unexpected reveal more than anything else so she just rolled her eyes at him.
“Okay, now I need you to debrief and tell me exactly what happened,” Alya said, all joking and playfulness set aside. So Marinette spoke quickly and concisely, from when she had left the group to search her section to when Superboy had sent Robin to keep her company. “Alright, now can you take the new Miraculous and talk to him about what we need to do to free Mullo?”
“Hello, my name is Pari,” the tiny platypus said, floating closer to Marinette as she stuck the pin - shaped like a tiny fedora - to her shirt. “In order to free my opposite, you will need to transform, and touch Mullo’s Miraculous to withdraw the nullification. You'll be able to feel the issue. My initiation phrase is ‘Hats on’ and to detransform you need only say ‘Hats off’. Should you need to use my power at any time, its activation code is ‘nullify’.”
“Okay! Pari, hats on!” After a blinding flash of light, Marinette found herself dressed in a dark brown suit that melted into a pair of yellow boots. She had a yellow ball cap on her head and her hair was braided to her head, sitting around the nape of her neck. Her hands were gloved in yellow as well, webbing connecting her fingers but with a stretchy material that gave her full mobility.
“Wow, you look great, M!” Adrien exclaimed, spinning her around gently. She had a jacket as part of her suit that had a squared off tail and it flapped a little as she span. “Okay, you go ahead and see if you can get Mullo out for us.”
It didn't take long at all and she gave a sigh of relief as she detransformed. Picking up Mullo's necklace, the tiny mouse popped back into existence and flew to hug her cheek.
Handing off the pin to Alya, the two team leaders excused themselves to return it to Nino, hoping he would be able to settle the Kwami in with the others without any problems. They might see about finding a permanent holder since Pari wasn't part of the Chinese box but as the power could stop their powers…it was unlikely. It would be far safer to keep him with the rest of the Kwamis.
“It was interesting to see a Miraculous you are less familiar with,” Damian stated once Alya and Adrien were gone. “But I will say now that if you,” he continued, turning to point at Kon, “think there will be a repeat of her quick thinking and survival driven behaviour in the alley, I will find a reason to bring my kryptonite blade to the next meeting.”
“Robin,” Marinette squeaked, blushing and shoving the younger boy towards the door. She glanced at Kon, who seemed fairly unbothered by the threat, and looked away again. “Thanks for all of your help Superboy. Now that the mission is over, I think I'm going to find Red and just go home. See you soon, okay?”
She didn't wait for an answer, transforming quickly and dragging Damian behind her and praying for something to come and end her.

it's time for a new computer.
Hello Darlings....,
im raising money for a new computer because my current one is on its last foot and likes to 💥BLOW UP💥 even when im just watching youtube videos. This is hard for me, a chick who likes to fuck around with software, run intensive programs, would like to 3d model, amd maybe even play games that have a bigger screen real estate of 300px. just in general. my craputer is holding me back from the mayhem i am trying to create in the world of art.
You Can Help me...
i am raising money for a new computer, mostly through commissions! tips are also welcome. you can send them via ko-fi -> https://ko-fi.com/yanadose/goal ★ or, send me a commission and let's get to talkin 😏 -> https://ko-fi.com/yanadose/commissions
here's the planned build for my new computer if youd like to see the specs -> https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Pq8sLc as you can see, green case... kinda sexy.... the above image is the silhouette of her gijinka, i've named her Agape 🫦
When We Reach The Goal, Agape Will Be Revealed...
starlet i'm sorry but you've blown up too many times. you're being replaced by a sexier, more capable computer woman.
also im trying to keep it upbeat BUT! this computer would mean a lot to me. i genuinely cant even run art programs or check my e-mail sometimes and i'd really like to play games or do streams with my friends again. starlet's busted in several ways and it'd take too much money to rule out all possible issues, i got her a new PSU for christmas (haven't installed yet, we'll see...? >3>) but she has motherboard, gpu, and cable connector issues, not to mention the parts are mostly from 2011-13 and mad slow. i live in a place with a bad power grid and i think a lot of parts got fried from constant black/brownouts and starlet was 2nd hand in the first place.
i'm disabled/no income/have mobility issues and my computer has failed to be sufficient for online healthcare tools, it's jeopardized my livelihood as an artist, and it's made me feel alone when i can't leave the house with chronic health issues. i'm sure you understand... NOW LET'S GET THAT GREEN WOMAN!
★ commissions ☆ ko-fi goal ★

how do you organize your writing? do you use notion or another similar site/app?
How I Organize My Writing
I'm pretty old school when it comes to organizing my writing. I've tried so many apps, web sites, and software--because I dearly want to use them--they just never work for me or I don't keep up with them. It never stops me from trying, pretty much with every new project or overhaul, but I always default back to basics. For me, "basics" is a project folder on my desktop, separate folders inside for drafts, characters, world building, notes, final files, etc. Then, I do everything in Word or notepad, save pictures into the files, etc. It's simple and it works for me. I have also always had physical story binders with dividers that I use to organize print copies of everything, but I'd like to gravitate away from that since it takes up so much space.
If you do want to use Notion, it looks like there are some good tutorials on YouTube specific to using it to organize stories. There are also some geared toward using it for authorly things, like tracking word count, projects and goals, etc.
In the past I've tried Scrivener (which I love... and which you can usually get discounted if you "win" NaNoWriMo which is coming up on November 1st). I've played around with things like Google Docs, Plottr, Novlr, Atticus, Liquid Story Binder, and ProWritingAid.
Anyone out there want to share what they use and what they like/dislike about it?

#101DalmatianStreet #Save101DalmatianStreet #Disney #DisneyPlus #101Dalmatians #Commissions
My dedicated pups! Let me introduce to you a newly revamped commission price sheet. This time, I'm opening up new options for commissioners, with the added addition to comic pages, and of course 101 Dalmatian Street OC Reference Sheets!🎨🖌️✏️
As a growing artist, animator and supporter of 101 Dalmatian Street, I'm working to build on my finances to purchase new video editing, animation and art softwares for my 101DS fan-projects and of course my savings for future priorities.💰💵
There are MANY new options to choose from in this new price sheet, so if you're interested for:
- Art Pic
- Profile Pic
- 101DS OC Ref Sheet
- Comic Page
How you want your art piece to look depends on the price.
DM me on Twitter/Bluesky/Discord right away and I'll gladly take any kind of artwork!😁
Slots: 0 of 10
Status: OPEN!!
PLEASE NOTE:
- I do mainly 101 Dalmatian Street artwork, but I can gladly do non-101DS artwork commissions for other IPs and franchises!
- I can accept up to only three 101DS OC ref sheets at a time, to avoid pressure and time consumption.
- Please do NOT ask me for any last-minute changes and suggestions to the art style for the commission while its in finishing stages. By the time the art piece would be finished, it would already be too late to go back and change the entire art style, not to mention that it's highly time consuming, so PLEASE for the love of dog, don't ask. The only changes I can do is slight re-adjustments, repositioning, and color changes if asked, but nothing related to art style.
- There are strict limits to what fetishes I'll allow for commissions. The only fetishes I can accept are macro and light weight gain. I will NOT accept any artwork that contains hard fetishes like vore, feet, diapers, bodily fluids, sex, etc... Anything that can make users uncomfortable.
(The type of vore I can limit myself to is cartoony and accidental. No digestion, no soft or fatal vore, and no intentional vore.)
- NO NSFW content!
- NO sibling shippings please.
- I don't have any other bank accounts other than Paypal and BoA, so if you don't have a paypal or a bank account that supports Paypal, talk to me through the DM's and we'll try to work something out for a solution.
Other than that, my ears are open for any creative ideas!

Tim Sweeney, the CEO of Epic Games, had always worried that his company’s victory last year in a multimillion-dollar legal battle against Google’s app store monopoly wouldn’t be enough to open up competition. Even if Google could no longer keep alternative marketplaces out of Android, phone manufacturers could make them harder to access. In a US lawsuit filed in San Francisco today, that’s exactly what Epic alleges Google has conspired with Samsung to do.
Some newer Samsung phones have required settings changes to install apps from the web such as Epic’s app marketplace, according to Epic, which also develops Fortnite and Rocket Racing. The requirement became effective by default in July, and Epic launched its app store in August. Samsung claims the feature it calls Auto Blocker protects against “applications from unauthorized sources” and “malicious activity.” But it extends the installation process from 15 steps to 21, Epic alleges. The company says that it has found in the past that the greater the number of hurdles, the fewer people complete the process.
“It is not about reasonable measures to protect users against malware,” Sweeney told reporters in a briefing ahead of the lawsuit filing. “It's about obstruction of competition.”
“Contrary to Epic Game's assertions, Samsung actively fosters market competition, enhances consumer choice, and conducts its operations fairly,” said a Samsung spokesperson in a statement. “The features integrated into our devices are designed in accordance with Samsung’s core principles of security, privacy, and user control, and we remain fully committed to safeguarding users' personal data. Users have the choice to disable Auto Blocker at any time. We plan to vigorously contest Epic Game's baseless claims.”
Google didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on the lawsuit.
The litigation builds on an effort Epic launched in 2020 to deliver more choice to mobile users and boost its own bottom line. While downloading apps any which way from just about any source is generally easy on desktops and laptops, Apple and Google have used warnings and varying policy and technical curbs to keep users downloading from the iOS App Store and Google Play, which deliver enormous profits to the tech giants by virtue of sales commissions they collect.
Epic, through a lawsuit, won a minor concession from Apple that is still being fought over; penalties against Google are expected from a judge soon.
In the press conference, Sweeney acknowledged that Epic doesn’t have clear evidence that Google and Samsung collaborated to roll out Auto Blocker. But emails and notes presented by Epic during its jury trial against Google last year showed how the search company regularly engaged in discussions with Samsung aimed at limiting competition. Google denied those accusations.
Early this month, Sweeney reached out to two senior Samsung executives to ask them to rethink the approach with Auto Blocker and allow for a smoother process to download legitimate software. Sweeney said a resolution couldn’t be reached that benefitted all developers, prompting the lawsuit. “We are going to continue to fight until there is a level playing field,” he says. He added that it “sucks” to sue Samsung, which has promoted Epic’s offerings in the past.
Epic has notched over 10 million installations of its mobile app store, short of a goal to reach 100 million by the end of the year, Sweeney says. He believes Auto Blocker and other new impediments, as he views them, have hurt Epic’s ability to gain traction. And his focus on fighting Apple and Google is costing Epic significant sums, with no end in sight to the litigation. “The benefits only come in the future, when the obstructions have truly been eliminated,” he says.

What is Amazon Affiliate Marketing? Why Choose Affiliate Marketing?

What is Amazon Affiliate Marketing?
Amazon Affiliate Marketing, also known as the Amazon Associates Program, is a popular way for individuals and businesses to earn commissions by promoting products from Amazon.com. Why Choose Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is an attractive online income stream for several reasons:
1. Low Investment, High Earning Potential
Unlike traditional businesses, affiliate marketing requires minimal startup costs. You don’t need to buy or stock products—just promote existing ones.
2. Passive Income Opportunity
Once you set up your website or content, you can earn commissions passively as people purchase through your links, even while you sleep.
3. Flexibility & Freedom
Affiliate marketing allows you to work anytime, anywhere. You can build an income stream without being tied to a specific location or strict work hours.
4. No Customer Support or Inventory Management
Since you are promoting other companies' products, they handle inventory, shipping, and customer service—leaving you free to focus on marketing.
5. Wide Range of Products & Niches
You can promote products in various niches, from tech gadgets and fashion to fitness equipment and software. This flexibility lets you choose a niche that aligns with your interests.
6. Trusted Brands Boost Conversions
When promoting Amazon products, customers trust the Amazon brand, making them more likely to buy—resulting in higher conversion rates for affiliates.
