Welcome back, on this episode of "My parents have been home less than an hour and have talked about my sister at least 5 times at this point" we'll be focusing on the effects of being the least favorite child. For reference, my older brother has been discussed twice. They didn't even ask how my day was.

Sunshine and Midnight Rain
Luke Castellan x Apollo kid!Reader
Tumblr media
word count: 851
summary: Luke castellan and the daughter of apollos love story
a/n: “remember who the enemy is” IM TRYING
Luke Castellan held your heart since the day you met, and you held his.
You arrived at camp a few months after Luke. You were one of the lucky ones, claimed within an hour of being there. Your godly father is Apollo, god of poetry, the sun, music, narcissism, idiocy, stupidity, all that. You had assumed the gods would act superior to all, no matter if they were or weren’t. But Apollo was on a completely different level. You didn’t know why he had taken such a liking to you.
“You remind him of himself,” Your half sister, Kayla, had told you, “an archer who never misses, healer who fixes every wound, gifted singer, and somehow picked up the lyre in a day. And yet, you still ask why Apollo loves you the most?”
“I wish he wouldn’t,” you twirl the golden arrow he gifted you.
“y’know, that hermes boy has been staring since the moment you stepped foot here,” she smiles, nodding to the tan boy sitting on a picnic table.
“Great, more attention,” you keep your sights on the boy, lucas? Luca, maybe?
“His name’s luke castellan,” kayla says, ah luke, that’s it.
“He’s handsome,” you say matter of factly.
“Don’t trust those Hermes boys, all they do is lie,” Kayla leans back and rolls her eyes.
“It’s a good thing I play the lyre.”
——————
“You’ve got a great shot,” a deep voice says from behind you.
You’ve been at the range for around an hour, it’s 4:30, you always practice when no one else is around.
“The whole reason why I come out here this early is so i can be alone,” sure, it sounds mean but you swear you’re not trying to be.
“Sorry, once I see you it’s hard to look away,” you’re not looking at him but you can tell me has the biggest smirk on his face.
“Funny,” you tell him bluntly.
You set down your bow, keeping the arrow in your hand, and sit on the nearby grass. He lays down beside you, you follow his lead and put your hands behind your head.
“That arrow, it’s like it’s made of the sun,” He says amazed.
“A gift from dear old dad. No matter how far I shoot it’ll always come back. Supposed to be a sign of his love or something. But I think he just constantly wants me to be annoyed by him,” you inform him possibly too much.
“Most people would be grateful if their godly parent cares that much,” he says.
“It’s different with Apollo, there is no such thing as true altruism with him,” you bite your inner lip.
“I get that, I’m just tryna say- Hermes never showed up for me, and I'd kill to just have him tell me he cares,” His eyes furrow.
“Guess we both have different priorities,” you smile.
“Opposites work best don’t they?” He smiles back.
“Isn’t it opposites attract?” You wonder.
“Hey, your words, not mine,” he laughs.
“That one’s Orion,” You point up at the constellation.
“He was always my favorite,” he adds.
“Mine has always been Cassiopeia, but you can never see her over here,” You look back up at the sky.
“That one’s Taurus, and then Sirius below, and Gemini above,” you point each of them out.
Even though he hums in acknowledgment his eyes are locked on you.
“You’re staring, again” You mention.
“I told you I can’t help it, especially when you glow like that,” he reaches out and touches your face.
You reach out and grab his hand, running your fingers against his slender digits.
“I’d like to be a constellation when I die, maybe my father will fulfill that wish,” you say to him.
“That’ll be my last wish too, we can lay in the stars together.”
——————
It’s been a day since Percy Jackson came to Camp Half-blood. It just so happens to be your favorite day of the year, capture the flag. You have led the archers on the blue team for years, you’d say you’re doing well for what you’re given. Besides your siblings in Apollo the rest of the kids weren’t as gifted in archery.
As the first conch shell blew you were preparing for your mock-battle. Annabeth in charge of the plan and Percy, Luke with company, and you with the archers. You knew you could, no- would win. The archers took the trees, helping stray company from the skies.
“Today feels like a winning kind of day?” Annabeth asks luke.
“I’ll see you on the other side,” He smiles.
“Luke!” You pull him aside for a moment.
You cup his face the best you can through his armor. “You don’t get hurt okay? I don’t feel like healing anymore wounds from you. Understand?”
“Oh but I love to see you healing” he holds your hand and smirks
“Archers! Move out!” You call your team, eyes still locked with his, smiling.
“so… you and her?” Percy asks the taller boy.
“how could I not? She's perfect. I mean, I genuinely believe I could live without the sun if I just had her.”
And maybe, just maybe, he could.

Rise Characterizations
Last month I did an in-depth re-watch of rottmnt s1 to take some notes on writing the characters of rise from their perspective and such. Figured I'd share what I found, but I'm also posting this bc my docs have a nasty habit of blipping out of existence.
We'll start with Raph bc he's the oldest of course, but I'll post the others sep. bc this is gonna get long!!
Raph Character Notes
Tumblr media
Language Habits:
Catchphrases: "like a boss", "smash"
Verbalizes his attacks such as "smash", "knuckle sandwich", "power smash jitsu", "tonfa power jitsu", "mystic punch jitsu"
Uses older song titles for surprised exclamations or in place of cursing, most notably "jumping jack flash!"
Uses aave/bae, For example: 'em instead of them, 'ey instead of they, 'cause instead of because, forgoes the g in ing words (going becomes goin')
Uses less and less grammar the more he's stressed, and his voice will come to a higher pitch
Will speak in a softer tone to his little brothers if he's concerned about hurting their feelings. Aka babying them
Mixes up both metaphors and idioms. Would be one to say how the turn tables unironically
Does say "hero" a lot, lost count, especially in phrases like "hero town"
Refers to his brothers as "boys" or "fellas"
Refers to Splinter as "pop(s)" most often
Refers to strangers he's directly talking to as "bubs" or "hoss"
Tumblr media
Personality:
Protective of his family
Plays up the hero act/has a strong sense of duty and justice
Impatient, rushes in without a plan (pre-movie), doesn't finish books until the end, falls asleep during "boring movies"
Oblivious, doesn't read into things beyond surface level. Struggles with empathy when something is beyond his understanding, but is still very emotional
Center of responsibility for his brothers, but also has a reckless sense of fun. As long as it's him doing the stupid unsafe thing it's fine
Carries the weight, in a literal sense he piggy backs his brothers, but will also use his body as a shield from danger. Unfortunately this also means he takes his brothers a little less seriously (Mikey the most common victim), and will try and either protect them from everything or as an oldest sibling everything has go "his way"
Doesn't do well in solitude. Needs to be looking after people to feel functional, and needs to be around people to feel safe
Clumsy, "takes horrible pictures", isn't very good at hiding, he's a big guy so it probably took a lot of time to find balance
A sweet guy who still won't shy from making fun of his family. Leo tends to be the brunt of his teasing since he is the most annoying, but he will also poke Donnie on his dramatics
Likes cute things!!! Has a teddy bear collection and loves animals. It's so cool how this isn't played off as a joke and he's still just as masculine for liking pink and cutesy stuff
Likes fighting!!! Gets a lot of energy out defeating bad guys (where he directs his anger towards), the one who is shown to train the most, and also weight lifts in his spare time
Doesn't do well under pressure, here the anger comes out the most. He gets stressed when it's all on him, especially since he tends to mess up the most in these moments
Tumblr media
Miscellaneous:
Second to unlock mystic powers
Nicknames/codenames: "raph-a-doodle" by leo, "red rover" by april, "red king" by donnie
Teddy bear names: Doctor Huggenstein, Captain Snuggles, Cheech
Stinks: fear stink, amazement stink, sneaking up on people stink, victory stink
Seems to be less afraid of rabbits and more afraid of puppets
Went on his first solo mission at 13
Cannot lift a bus, at age 15
Thought about discussing fighting style, but I'm not as familiar with that concept and I've seen a couple posts dissecting such topic. So we'll end here for now. Hope this was helpful!!! I'll post the rest of the boys later and link here
Leo is up!!
Donnie is up!!
Mikey is up!!
Splinter is up!!
April is up!!
Cassandra is up!!
Baron Draxum is up!!

Goat Legs
Pairing: Charles Xavier x Reader
Fandoms: Marvel, X-Men
Summary: You have the power to see other universes. Sadly, that power controls you.
Warnings: Universes colliding
Tumblr media
*******
"I'm not asking you to take over my position permanently, just for a couple weeks."
Magneto's mood differed from yours completely. While you were relaxed and amused he was annoyed and agitated. "Yes. It starts off with a couple weeks, then you ask for an extension, then, the next thing I know, it's years later, and you and your lover are never coming back."
You laughed, "We're going to Cancun! You're acting as if we're travelling to another dimension."
"How can I expect you to come back here when you don't even want to go home right now?"
That question took you off guard. "I'm sorry?"
"It's time to wake up, Y/n."
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"It's time to wake up."
"Stop it, Mag."
"You have to wake up, Y/n."
"I said stop it!"
"You have to wake up right now!"
Charles was in the middle of teaching a class when Raven burst into the room.
"She's awake," was all Raven said.
The professor turned back to his class with quite the worried expression. "Alright, keep reading chapter 12 everyone. Ms. Raven will be taking over for the time being."
The siblings shared a nod before Charles exited the classroom and began booking it down the hallways to get to you.
You were in an isolated wing of the Xavier Mansion. Charles thought it best to house you there so the students didn't hear your screams.
That choice was coming to fruition that day, as it did most days. Charles could hear your screams as he quickly quickly approached your door. His heart always experienced a lot of pain, seeing you like this. He couldn't even read your mind because it was too much for him. Charles could never imagine what it was like for you.
"My love! My love, I'm here. Please, you have to try to calm your mind."
As Charles rushed into your room and knelt at your bedside, you saw many different versions of him. One second, he was older. The next, he was the same age, but in a wheel chair. Then, you saw him bald. You tried to close your eyes to refresh your mind, but all you saw when you blinked was worlds and universes colliding. You screamed out in frustration, and reached out for Charles.
He took your hand and combed your hair with his fingers. "It's alright. It's alright, my love. We're together. We're home. Everything is okay."
"Tell that to Logan. He's lighting his cigar on an on-fire car as the world ends," you described what you were seeing.
It took a couple hours, but your episode had finally ended and you were calming down.
Charles still sat on your bed with you. He still had one of your hands in his, and he was combing through your hair with his free hand.
"You had goat legs," you quietly informed after hours of restless silence.
Xavier appropriately chuckled at that statement. "What?"
"You had goat legs," you repeated. "In one of my visions, you were having a young girl over for tea in the woods, and you had goat legs."
He scoffed. "That sounds like something out of Alice in Wonderland."
"It was quite whimsical," you admitted.
There was another silence between the two of you before you asked Charles, "Tell me about here again?"
He smiled. "We got everyone on our side after Cuba, even Erik. There still some arguments on how we should approach the rest of the world but we all teach the next generation of mutants here, at home."
Despite all the happy news, a tear rolled down your cheek. "I wish I could be more help."
Charles reminded you, "You don't have to be anything more or anything less than you are right now."
"Can we go for a walk? I'd like to see the kids," you told him.
Charles nodded, "Of course," as he helped you out of bed.

Fucked up - Nico Hischier (part two)
Tumblr media
summary; Nico Hischier x reader
Part one: click here
warning(s); angst, argument, insecurity, FLUFF , maybe grammar errors
author's note; hi lovely people out there! At first thank you so much for ✨100✨ followers. So many people asked for part two. Hope you like it, like I do!
tags; @hockey-hischier13 🌟 --------------------------------------------------------------
"I'd like to invite you to Switzerland, meeting my family."
This sentence hunts you until now. Two weeks later after getting the news from Nico. Your only reaction was "I'm not sure", secretly you'd jump into a sea for him, if he asks for it. You promised to change your clinginess.
He just sent you the ticket if you want to join. That's it. He did not visit you, he only left a voice message.
Maybe you did the wrong decision to fly to Switzerland and running after a man who feels annoyed from you.
"Babe!", Nico's sunglasses mirrors your face in it, kissing your cheek because you moved your head, that he couldn't kiss your lips. You don't feel deserved to get kissed.
"Hello, Nico", you smile and drive without a conversation to his parents house. It's a cute one, like in one of these Switzerland prospects everyone knows. "Are", he pauses between," are you okay? Like are we okay?", his brown eyes meet yours, him on the driver seat, parked. "We're cool", you nod and open the door.
"I'll take the bags", he smiles and walks into his family home.
You feel way too much familiar in this house. Maybe it's a red flag for him. That you feel too comfortable.
"Nice to meet you!", his mom comes out of the kitchen, hugging you tight, "you are way more prettier than Nico described me", she giggles and looks at you, "I'm Katja!".
You mumble a thank you, until you come in and meet the rest of his family, sitting in their garden. "are you cold? I can give you my jacket", Nico whispers these words through your shoulder after a few hours and the gone sunset. "I'm ok", it's a liar. You're freezing and everyone can see it, like your blue lips. Nico looks confused, you love this clothes. You begged for this jacket for months. "I'll go to bed", you smile thankful in the family round, leaving Nico's siblings and parents behind you.
"I'll go with you", he says goodnight to all and walks into the house with you. "I'd like to shower", you ask for his permission, "you don't need to ask me", Nico observes you, completely insecure, leaving him. You're literally running away from him, like fading apart when he wants to talk with you.
"Hi", he looks at you, smiling seeing you with a towel around your body after showering and him sitting on your shared bed. "hi", you avoid his eyes, random searching clothes in your bag.
Maybe he doesn't like cellulite. Maybe it's a red flag for him too.
"I'm the luckiest man alive to have you, my family loves you too", he smirks in completely chill. "I'm glad you're happy now",comes out of your mouth, your chest hurts. Deep inside your soul. Your soul is shit.
Your soul is a red flag. Without changing he couldn't loving you. Nico stares at your face, aren't you happy? You acted weird for weeks now, he posted a funny selfie just to geg your attention (usually he would never do this for a woman) but you didn't react.
"Aren't you happy?", he asks. "Sure", you bite on your lip, you hate to lie. "What's wrong?", Nico takes your arm, petting it. It's a lovely gesture for a man who feels disgusted about you.
"Can you ever love me the way I am?", you can't blink away the tears anymore.
"Wh-", he looks annoyed.
"You don't owe me anything, I should be happy you're still dating me", you shrug your shoulders. "Wh-", he starts again.
"of couse you're lovable", he gets worried. "I fall more and more in love with you", he explains his feelings, "no you fell in love in someone who I am not! Maybe I'm clingy and I'm annoying and love to spam-", you're sobbing your pain away.
"I miss your spamming and I also miss your real smile", he lovely whipes your tears away from the cheeks, his hands are shaking.
"I stress you out and you don't want to ask me to be your-", you whisper exhausted about the whole situation.
"My mom told me if a woman drives you crazy it's real love", he pets your hair, calming you down.
"I'm not lovable!", you sob, "you are", he promises. "I wanted to ask you tomorrow if you want to be my girlfriend. I'm sorry to let you feel this way!", he clears his throat. "Can you please be like yourself again?", he kisses your hand, holding it in his.

Word count: tba
Authors note: Get ready for some brother-time! I like Max, and I personally like the idea that they are not like everyone else in the ton.

Enjoy!
Tumblr media
You nodded, acting like you agreed, when the door opened again, and you haven't ever been more glad to see your brother enter the room.
You looked up at him, silently pleading to save you, but acting like you were surprised to see him. "Max, what is it?" you asked, furrowing your brows in faked confusion. "We have an appointment at the modiste in half an hour." he said. "I'm sorry, but I fear the gentleman have to excuse themselves. Of course you can return later, we'll be in the park afterwards."
You sighed dramatically. "Oh, I forgot." you said, feigning dismay. "I am so sorry, my Lords. But I need to get new dresses for the upcoming balls." You were disappointed you would have to bid Anthony goodbye already, but you silently hoped to see him at the park later.
Anthony hid his relief as your brother entered the room, providing the perfect excuse to end your interaction with Lord Pendale.
As Max spoke, he watched you and Pendale attentively, observing what he assumed as being feigned surprise, and he knew you were just as relieved as him.
Thank God. he thought to himself. He couldn't take one moment longer of seeing you having to pretend to be polite to that arrogant lord without a few not so polite words slipping past his lips.
He glanced at Max as he announced the appointment at the modiste, then back at you. Though he was disappointed that your time together was cut short, he knew it was a blessing in disguise.
Pendale, however, seemed annoyed at the interruption, his smirk faltering slightly. "Oh, yes, I see." he said, clearly not satisfied with the abrupt end to his visit. Anthony, on the other hand, couldn't help a small smirk of satisfaction at seeing Pendale's annoyance. The pompous lord didn't take well to being interrupted.
As you feigned dismay and apologized, Pendale stood up, clearly miffed. "Well, I suppose we have no choice but to leave." he said, his tone sulking.
"I am really so sorry, Lord Pendale." you apologized, standing up, too. "But I hope to see you soon. I can't wait to learn about finances of you. You make it sound so irresistibly interesting."
Pendale's expression softened slightly at your words, his ego clearly boosted by your flattery. He couldn't resist the opportunity to appear knowledgeable and interesting.
"Oh, well, you're in luck, Miss Barton." he said, his smirk returning. "I'd be more than happy to teach you anything you want to know about finances."
He then turned to Anthony with a quick nod. "Lord Bridgerton." he said in farewell before walking out of the room.
You bit your lip, scratching your brow. "Well, that was rather interesting." you muttered, before turning to your brother. "You have no clue how grateful I am for your interruption, brother."
You didn't care that Anthony heard your words of relief, something a woman was taught to hide and not show so openly.
You had the feeling he felt the same.
Max chuckled, clearly sensing your relief at the end of Pendale's visit. "No need to thank me. I know you were probably bored out of your mind." he said, a smirk on his face. "And honestly, it was a pleasure to interrupt that pompous lord. His presence was quite insufferable."
Anthony stifled a laugh as he stood, finding Max's assessment of Lord Pendale amusingly accurate. He silently agreed that Pendale's presence was, in fact, quite insufferable.
He watched as you and your brother exchanged banter, a hint of warmth blossoming in his chest at the closeness between you two.
It reminded him of his own siblings.
Meanwhile, Max playfully nudged you, teasing you. "Well, we have to run now to make our appointment." he said, clasping his hands behind his back.
"I hope to see you at the park, Lord Bridgerton?" you asked, looking at Anthony. "Maybe we can continue our talk there, without Lord Pendale and his finances. Or Lord Berbrooke." You shuddered at the sudden thought of him.
Anthony felt a smile pull at the corners of his lips at your question. He certainly hoped to see you again at the park, too. The thought of spending more time with you, without the likes of Pendale or Berbrooke, was very appealing.
"Indeed, Miss Barton." he replied, his tone soft and warm. "I look forward to continuing our conversation in a more pleasant setting." Anthony's expression darkened at the mention of Berbrooke. "With the absence of certain annoying individuals."
You snorted, but quickly put your hand in front of your mouth, biting your lip. "Then I suppose I'll see you soon." you said, after removing your hand again.
With that you left the room with Max, making your way to the modiste.
Anthony chuckled softly, amused by your snorted laughter and the quick attempt to hide it.
He watched as you left the room with Max, the sight of you walking away stirring a pang of disappointment within him. He would've preferred to continue talking to you, but he understood the necessity of your appointment at the modiste.
As you and Max headed out of the room, Anthony stayed behind, a subtle sense of eagerness growing within him. He couldn't wait to see you again at the park later.
When seated in the carriage, Max sent you a pointed look. "What?" you asked. His look deepened, before he shook his head. "I thought I told you about Lord Bridgerton's reputation." he said. You huffed, shaking your head as well. "He's a respectable suitor." you gave back. "I want to see for myself who he is. Whistledown certainly has a habit to exaggerate."
Max raised an eyebrow at your response. "Respectable suitor?" he echoed, his voice dripping with disbelief. "Y/N, you've heard the whispers. Lord Bridgerton has quite the reputation. He's known for being the most notorious rake in London."
He leaned back against the seat of the carriage, fixing you with a stern look. "And you think Whistledown is exaggerating? You know her words hold quite a bit of truth."
You bit your cheek. "I know they do." you said. "Her words certainly have the power to destroy once reputation. But since when do I listen to what others say?"
Max chuckled dryly, "You've always had a tendency to not listen to others, I'll give you that."
He sighed, then continued more seriously. "But you can't ignore the rumors surrounding Lord Bridgerton. He might hold a respectable title, but his reputation precedes him as an infamous rake. He's not known for being interested in a serious courtship."
Max looked at you meaningfully, his gaze concerned. "Just be careful, Y/N. I don't want to see you getting hurt."
You nodded, feeling a pang in your heart. "What makes you so sure he's not interested in a serious courtship?" you wanted to know, not fully able to hide the hope in your voice. "Why else would he have been at our house this early in the morning to visit me?"
Max paused, considering your question. He knew you had a point, but he was still wary of Anthony's intentions - especially when it was his mother that announced he’d be looking for a wife, not himself.
"I suppose that's a fair point." he conceded. "But there still might be other reasons for his visit. He might be trying to improve his reputation, or he might be simply interested in a short-lived dalliance."
Max reached out, gently placing a hand on your arm. "Please, Y/N. Just be careful. Don't let yourself become enamored with him, only to be left heartbroken."
You nodded again, swallowing. "I won't." you assured him, looking up at him. "But I have to find a suitor nonetheless. Maybe not a love match, but I hope to find someone that at least respects me for who I am, not for who I'm ought to be."
Max regarded you with an understanding smile. He knew how important it was for you to find a suitable match, someone who would value you for more than just your title or status.
He squeezed your arm gently, his expression solemn. "I understand.” he spoke softly. “I want nothing more than for you to find someone who respects and adores you for all that you are. But please, don't rush into anything with Lord Bridgerton."
He gave you a meaningful look. "Promise me you'll be cautious."
You nodded. "I promise." you said. "He seemed honest and he shared my opinions this far." you added. "And his mother made clear he is looking for a wife this season."
Max's expression softened slightly, reassured by your promise. Yet he remained vigilant. "His mother is eager to see him married, yes. But you must know that doesn't guarantee his own desire for a wife." he explained, before sighing.
"I know you think he shares your opinions and seems sincere. But always remember that people can be quite deceiving. Especially gentlemen of his reputation."
He squeezed your arm again. "Just keep your guard up, my dear. I wouldn't want to see you taken advantage of by a notorious rake."
You snorted, sending him a pointed look. "Oh, please, Max." you said. "Aren't you quite the rake yourself?"
Max chuckled at your response, his smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Well, I suppose I do have a certain reputation." he conceded, a hint of pride in his tone.
He leaned back against the carriage seat, crossing one leg over the other. "But I assure you my dear, I don't mess with innocent little debutantes like yourself."
He smirked again. "My tastes are a bit more...experienced."
You hit him playfully, acting shocked at his boldness. "Max!"
Max burst out laughing, enjoying your playful shock. "What?" he teased, feigning innocence. "Don't act so scandalized. I'm just being honest."
he chuckled, as he straightened himself, his smirk deepening. "You know me Y/N, I always go after women who know exactly what they're getting themselves into."
You shook your head, not able to hide a grin, though. "I'd like to see the day you marry." you joked.
Max chuckled again, a smug expression on his face. "Oh, don't hold your breath, dear sister." he teased. "I plan on remaining a bachelor for as long as possible."
He paused for theatrical effect. "Besides, I find the idea of chasing after married women quite exhilarating."
He winked at you, clearly playing the part of the mischievous rake.
You clicked your tongue, shaking your head. "I am surprised Whistledown hasn't written about you, yet." you said. "You're quite the walking scandal."
Max raised an eyebrow, a smirk still plastered on his face. "Oh, darling sister, I must say I'm hurt." he said, mock offense in his voice. "How could you suggest such a thing? I'm a perfect gentleman."
He chuckled, leaning back against the carriage seat. "But I suppose it doesn't surprise me that Whistledown hasn't targeted me yet. She probably can't keep up with all my escapades."
You rolled your eyes, as the carriage slowed. "You're insufferable."
Max feigned a surprised gasp, pretending to be deeply wounded by your remark. "Oh, such harsh words from my own flesh and blood." he said in a dramatic tone, placing his hand over his chest.
The carriage came to a stop, and he chuckled, a proud smirk returning to his face. "But you know you love me anyway, Y/N."
You shook your head. "What other choice do I have?" you asked, smirking at him, as the door of the carriage was opened. You were helped out of the carriage, standing in front of Madame Delacroix's dressmaker.
Max stepped out of the carriage after you, a smirk on his face as he followed you into the dressmaker's. "None at all, I'm afraid." he said playfully.
As you entered, the shop appeared vibrant and elegant, filled with an array of beautiful gowns, fabrics, and accessories. The shopkeeper, Madame Delacroix, immediately noticed your arrival.
"Miss Barton." she greeted you with her france accent, curtsying. "Lord Barton."
Max smiled at Madame Delacroix. "Madame." he greeted back, bowing his head respectfully.
She then turned her attention directly to you. "Ah, Miss Barton, it is so lovely to see you."
She gestured around the shop. "We have many new arrivals today. I am sure we will find the perfect gown for you."
You nodded, smiling. "I can't wait."
Madame Delacroix returned your smile, clearly excited to help. "Excellent. Come, come. Let us look through the newest fabrics we have."
She led you and Max into the shop, guiding you past racks upon racks of colorful fabrics, the silks and satins shimmering in the light.
The shop felt like a little treasure trove of fashion.
Your fingers brushed over the various fabrics, trying to decide what you wanted. "I want at least one dress in lavender and one in baby blue." You stopped in front of a fabric that reflected the light in rainbow colors. “And this one on a dress."
Madame Delacroix nodded, clearly aware that you had a good eye. "Ah, excellent choices, Miss Barton.” she compliemented. “Lavender and Baby Blue are always lovely hues for a young Miss."
She then noticed the fabric you pointed out, the one with glimmering rainbow colors. "And that one is quite special indeed.” she spoke, nodding. “That's a beautiful iridescent silk. It will look absolutely stunning when made into a gown."
You nodded. "I want a gown of it and some with it as accents."
Madame Delacroix smiled, clearly pleased by your choices. "Of course, my Lady. That fabric will be perfect for making a stunning gown."
She gently took some of the fabric and held it up against you. "With your complexion, and the way it reflects the light, you will look absolutely radiant."
You smiled. "I'd like that."
Madame Delacroix nodded, smiling back at you. "Excellent. I will arrange for a gown made from this iridescent silk and incorporate some accents into other gowns too."
She then gestured toward the racks. "Now, shall we look for the other fabric options for the Lavender and Baby Blue dresses?"
You nodded. "Yes, please."
Madame Delacroix led you over to the appropriate section of fabric for the Lavender and baby blue dresses. She carefully picked out some swatches, holding them up against your face to see how they reflected against your complexion.
"Here, these would look lovely with the Lavender hue." she said, holding up a soft, delicate cotton fabric with a slight sheen to it. "And for the baby blue, maybe something a bit brighter, like this silk jacquard."
You felt the fabrics between your gloved fingers. "I like these." you said, nodding. "I'll take them."
Madame Delacroix smiled, pleased to hear your approval. "Excellent choice, my Lady.” she said. “The lavender will feel soft and lightweight against your skin, and the baby blue will have a lovely shimmer."
She made note of your choices, then looked up at you. "Now, any particular style or design you have in mind for these gowns?"
You thought for a moment. "Surprise me." you then said. "I don't have a particular style in mind, but maybe you can add some styles as accents or something, maybe something from France. You're the schooled one, I believe you'll make these gowns something special."
Madame Delacroix chuckled, clearly flattered by your trust in her. "Of course, Miss Barton. I will use my experience and creativity to design something special."
She nodded, then began to jot down some more notes. "I'll add some unique elements, perhaps a surprise detail on the lavender gown, and a special accent on the baby blue. Nothing too drastic, just enough to make them stand out."
You nodded. "I'd love that." you said, the thought of Anthony suddenly in the back of your mind. Maybe he would notice the details, maybe you’d stand out from the other girls.
Madame Delacroix smiled, clearly excited to get started on your gowns. "Wonderful."
She wrote down the last few notes, then looked up at you. "I'll begin working on these immediately. I assure you, Miss Barton, these gowns will be spectacular." she promised.
You nodded. "I'm sure they will." you spoke. "Very well, then I suppose we will pick gloves and such later? When the gowns are done, or now?"
Madame Delacroix considered the question for a moment, then replied. "I suggest we wait to pick out the gloves and accessories until your gowns are complete." she suggested. "That way, we can coordinate the colors and styles perfectly. What do you think, Miss Barton?"
You nodded. "Perfect."
"Excellent." Madame Delacroix smiled. "Then I will begin your gowns. Please come back to my shop when they're ready, and we'll select the perfect gloves and accessories to match."
You nodded again. "Thank you, Madame Delacroix."
She bowed her head in response. "It's my pleasure, Miss Barton." she returned. "I look forward to seeing you again soon when the gowns are done."
With that you bid her goodbye, leaving the Modiste together with Max.
Max, having been silently observing you and Madame Delacroix, smiled and offered you his arm as you left the dressmaker's shop.
"Well, I must say, Y/N, you certainly have an eye for fashion." he said, his trademark smirk in place.
You rolled your eyes. "Of course I have." you gave back. "One of us has to."
Max chuckled, fully aware of his own lack of interest in fashion. "Oh, come now, Y/N. You know I have other priorities than the latest trends and frills."
He squeezed your arm playfully, a hint of mischievousness in his voice. "I focus on more... enjoyable things."
You huffed. "Such as certain nightgowns, I guess?"
Max let out a hearty laugh at your comment, clearly amused by your tease. "Oh, darling sister, you know me too well." he spoke. "Let's just say I appreciate a beautiful woman in even more beautiful garments."
He gave you a wink, the playful banter between you both almost like a sibling ritual.
"That's what I thought." you mused. "So, the park it is now? We shall get the staff working to gather the pavilion and stuff."
Max nodded, the topic of conversation shifting as you mentioned the park. "Yes, the park."
He looked around, taking in the surroundings. "I'll arrange for everything necessary - pavilion, refreshments, any decorations. It will be a lovely setting for our atay at the park."
You nodded. "Perfect. Then I'll change into a more fitting gown, and we can go." you said, stopping in front of the carriage.
Max helped you into the carriage, a smirk on his face. "Oh, you want to change into a more fitting gown, do you?" he teased. "Does that mean you're trying to impress someone in particular with your attire?"
He raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the playful banter between you two.
You chuckled. "I have to, after all I'm supposed to find someone to marry, am I not?"
Max nodded, clearly amused by your comment. "Ah, yes. The hunt for a suitable suitor, how thrilling."
He chuckled again. "But tell me, darling sister, who exactly are you hoping to impress?" he wanted to know. "Or should I say, make a certain viscount jealous?"
You choked on your own saliva, coughing for a short moment. "I don't know what you mean." you then said. "After all you were the one telling me not to get too close to him, because he doesn't want to marry and, most importantly, is a notorious rake."
Max chuckled at your reaction, clearly finding your coughing episode quite humorous. "Oh, darling sister, you can deny it all you want, but you can't fool me."
He leaned closer, his smirk growing wider. "I saw the way you looked at him, the subtle glances, the way your cheeks flushed. You can't deny there's some interest there."
You glared at him. "How ironic of you to say after telling me to basically get away from him."
Max shrugged, his smirk unfaltering. "Oh, come now, Y/N. I was just looking out for you." he defended himself half-heartedly. "You know how rakes can be, especially someone with a reputation like Viscount Bridgerton."
He chuckled, a twinkle in his eye. "But you must admit, he is quite handsome." he added. "And his charm can be rather intoxicating. It's understandable to be attracted to him."
You rolled your eyes. "He is indeed handsome, but I think I can assure you he's not interested in men." you said. "Unlike you, with your interest in both."
It was forbidden, yet it didn't stop some of the men that were interested in their same gender. "As for being attracted to him," you continued. "I wish to marry out of love. I hardly know him."
Max chuckled, not denying your accusation about his own preferences. "You know me all too well, darling sister." he said, before shrugging casually. "But as for marriage, love is not a requirement, especially in our circles. Marriages of convenience abound, and that's exactly what you need: a practical and advantageous union."
You bit your cheek. "Yeah, I know." you said. "But one can wish, can I not?"
Max nodded, his teasing smile softening slightly. "Of course, darling sister. Wishing and hope are not forbidden." he spoke, chuckling softly. "Just make sure you keep your expectations in check. You know how the world of high society works. Love is not always on the table in these arranged matches."
"It hardly ever is." you agreed. "Still I want something like our parents had. I want love, unconditional and never ending love. There's still some time left till the end of the season, maybe I'll still find it. That is, if no one asks for my hand before that and you sell me off."
Max tilted his head, his eyes studying you intently. He knew you well and could sense your hopefulness for love not fading. "Spoken like a true dreamy romantic, Y/N."
He chuckled softly, his words not without sympathy. "I understand your desire for love, I truly do. But remember that practicality must come first. If a suitor of good standing asks for your hand, we must consider the benefits of such a union."
You scoffed. "You're saying that like you were in my position." you said. "Yet you can choose who you marry, whilst I am chosen."
Max ran a hand through his hair, a small sigh escaping his lips. "I may have more freedom in choosing a partner, but you must remember that our social standing depends on you making a good match." he returned, but softening his tone. "I'm simply saying that in our world, love must take a backseat when strategic connections are at stake. Your marriage, no matter how much you hate it, could make or break our family's future."
You nodded, feeling that burden on your shoulders every time you talked to a potential suitor. "And what about a Viscount?" you asked, a bit hopeful. "Would a Viscount be a good match?"
You intentionally didn't say a name, though.
Max raised an eyebrow, clearly catching on to your meaning. "A Viscount hmm?" he made. "Someone in particular on your mind, darling sister? A Viscount would be a most advantageous match, no doubt about it. A respected title, a high social standing, and the potential for a well-connected union."
You sighed, nodding. "Well, then we'll have to see what comes out of this season, will we not?" you spoke, as the carriage arrived back at your home. "But I don't want lord Pendale or Berbrooke."
Max chuckled, rolling his eyes at the mention of Lord Pendale and Berbrooke. "Lord Pendale is a buffoon and has the wit of a brick, he wouldn't be a suitable match for you."
he told you, before he sighed disdainfully at the mention of Lord Berbrooke. "And Berbrooke...I would rather see you marry a horse than that greasy worm."
You snorted at his choice of words, when the carriage door was opened. "Wise words, brother." you said, taking the hand of the horseman that helped you out of the carriage. "Like a true gentleman."
Max chuckled, stepping out behind you. "Oh, you flatter me, darling sister. I'm always the picture of gentlemanly decorum."
He followed you into the house, smirking. "But worry not. I shall guard your reputation fiercely. No greasy worms or fools will be allowed near you."
You nodded. "Then I'm glad to have you by my side, dear brother." you said playfully. "My personal guard dog."
Max rolled his eyes, playing along with your teasing. "Oh, please. I am much more refined than a mere guard dog." he said. "Perhaps a lion, or a mighty dragon, ready to protect its treasure at all costs."
You scoffed. "A dragon, huh?" you chuckled, shaking your head, walking towards the stairs. "I'll let you know when I'm ready to go to the park."
Max chuckled, watching as you ascended the stairs. "Very well, darling sister. I'll have the carriage prepared for your convenience."
He gave you a mock salute. "And I shall wait here like a proper dragon guard, ready to burn down any unworthy suitors who dare approach you."
You snorted, shaking your head, before you went into your room.
Max chuckled, watching you disappear into your room. He leaned against a wall, his thoughts wandering. He knew he had his duties to ensure you would find a suitable match, but he couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for having to act as your matchmaker rather than your brother.
With a sigh, he made his way outside to instruct the staff to prepare the carriage for your trip to the park.

Okay so, I wanna talk about my sonboy Richas, my guy Felps, their relationship, and everything about yesterday as well
So, lets go :D
First thing, Felps actually really don't like taking care of Richas when he's without his armor
Felps has the terrible memory of being the one (together with Cellbit) to watch Richas first death. The three were at a cave and Felps and Cellbit were taken down first and had to watch Richas getting swarmed and die far from their grasp
The death was reverted, but still, when Felps logged in next time, Richas had JUST died to the bull again, so he already had 1 life. It was the very same day, just a couple hours after. Felps always reinforced about the armor, to the point he didn't let Richas take it off even when safe at Foolishs place when he could see Leo didn't wear it
Felps fucking loves that kid, he's just the quieter dad. He won't scream that much, when he panics, he shuts down and focus on the problem. He's the best dad to talk about feelings and often is the one who talks Richas out of his spiraling self deprecating thoughts, while other dads don't have the same touch
Felps has the patience to talk with Richas and hear Richas points. He always is the one talking him into a shower even if it takes a whole trip beforehand so Richas can have fun before it. He sings a lil song to get him through a shower. Ever since he came back from the lab, he trusts Richas a lot with his own strength, he knows Richas can defend himself even better than Felps can defend himself
It means a lot that Felps is the only dad Richas will listen to more easily, even if sometimes it takes a lot of talk and bargain to do so. Richas is a difficult kid, he channels all his sadness and pain into being silly and overly courageous, which means he will be a disobedient kid, he will put himself in danger, he won't listen to his dads if he can make a joke about it and it has been getting worse lately
Richas is Not doing okay, he's constantly scared of losing the ones he love, he feels easily replaceable which makes him panic and act out in 'jealousy'. He has said before he fears his siblings don't really like him and it's why he always wants to have family around, he knows he's a problem and has even apologized to Bad about it once. He thinks he can't express his love through words when he has written so many beautiful things, he paints bc its how he thinks he can better translate his care
Yesterday, after Bad took him and Felps to the graveyard and out of it, Richas went back with Felps and put some flowers around their graves. A small talk started when Felps wondered if the dead eggs were looking down at them, but also couldn't really believe it because they'd be too far up there to actually see anything. Richas then said how people used to tell him Bobby was up in between the stars, but they stopped telling him that 'story'. Then, this talk happened
"Do you think they'd [Dead eggs Richas never met] like me?"
"Ofc they would! Everyone loves you! They'd love you, Richas"
"If I had died today, would I meet them?"
Felps goes quiet for a couple seconds here, then goes back to talking
"Maybe, maybe not. We can never be sure, Richas. What if you died and it's just nothing after, huh? It's a big bet. You can't keep thinking like that and then go throw yourself in front of a zombie horse to find out if they're at the other side"
"Yeah, I wouldn't be able to annoy all the dads, it wouldn't be worth it... I'd miss you all so much" (He used the word saudade)
"Awwn... But you would be dead, Richas. We would be the ones missing you, we would be the ones staying behind"
And to me this is a very telling moment. Because Richas didn't realize people would miss him as well, he just thought about how he'd miss being with the others. He also says how he'd be in hell, missing his family but also laughing at tragedy. When Felps asks why hell, Richas goes "You really think I'd end up in heaven? With the way I am?"
Felps spends the rest of the stream hyping Richas up, telling him how much he's loved and how much everyone cares for him. Felps manages to get through Richas after a while, and they have a nice moment together. Richas already arrived to the square without armor, after having recently argued with Forever about it, and Felps didn't mind bc that area was all lightened up so less mobs were spawning, plus the aforementioned trusts he has on Richas
No one expected the horse because it came from outside the square, right out the border, and literally fell on top of them. Felps was quick to go after it, and Richas was caught out of surprise and got height damage as well, eating through 2 totems (and also having to switch out the other ones from his hand due to the rule)
Felps was smart about the horse, he always hit up high so there wouldn't be any risk of a misclick, he hit crit after crit pushing the horse away so he could better kill it without risking Richas, and he did it! I understand BBHs scare but everything was already solved and Richas was halfway being revived already
If anything, the trip to the cemetery scared Felps more than it did Richas. Richas is well used to the threat of death, he plays with it by jumping into mines and purposefully walking without armor around Forever. But Felps isn't. He wants his kid safe, he wants him alive. Felps was willing to never come back if it meant Richas could have an extra life, he would die over and over for that kid
After everything, he talked with Richas, and the kid didn't rlly need to be convinced to wear his armor now that he knew how the square can be tricky. Felps didn't need to yell, or compare Richas to anyone, or play lil games. Just a talk, and Felps' trust that Richa would now do his part, and he did!
Each mob they encountered next, Richas and Felps stayed side by side. Felps let Richas kill them first bc he knows Richas likes it, but always helping and telling him how he was doing it well. When they were rowing around later in the boat, music playing, Felps went on about how it was all that mattered
Richas was alive, Felps was alive, they got a scare but they were okay now. And it was all worth it for these calm, happy moments. These were the ones that should be remembered, the ones that made it all worth it

"Hung Up"
When Solidarity confessed his feelings to Tango, expressing his love and desire and asking the other on a date, Tango immediately said yes. He was so happy and excited, especially since he had been crushing on the other for what felt like years. They went on a couple of dates, smiling, laughing, getting to know one another, having fun.
"So, does this make us boyfriends?" Tango teased.
Solidarity blushed and smiled, going to say something before he paused. He seemed to remember something, then sighed, "Listen, I'm going to be completely upfront with you because I do want to be your boyfriend and stuff, but I have this... ex..."
"Is it a crazy stalker ex?"
"Not really. Just..." The dirty blonde tried to think of a way to word it, "He and I share a big friend group and he has convinced them that I'm apparently still hung up on him and that he was so kind to continue being my friend even though we broke up. Oh, and the reason I haven't dated anyone is cause I'm totally waiting for him to come back!" He groaned, visibly annoyed as sarcasm laced his voice, "Hell, he's convinced my siblings of this when he's the one calling me drunk in the middle of the night!"
"Why haven't you blocked him, if you don't mind me asking?" Tango questioned.
The dirty blonde sighed, "It's cause of the friend group we share. I've always been really awkward, so I just became friends with my siblings friends and then when I began dating Scott, my ex, I became friends with his friends. I don't really have a lot of my own friends and, if I block him, everyone would make it this big deal, like I broke the law or something and I just..." He sighed again, "I'm sorry, I don't mean to vent..."
"No, no, it's fine." The blonde reassured with a smile, gently putting a hand on his shoulder, "I understand. It's probably really annoying and frustrating and I'm guessing you don't have a lot of people to talk to about this."
Solidarity weakly nodded, "...I just don't want to rock the boat. Makes my anxiety shoot through the roof. If I just go with it, no matter how uncomfortable I am, it'll be fine."
Tango hugged him, "But that's not healthy, Soli..."
"I-I know, I know... I just don't know what to do..."
"We'll work on it, okay? First step to fixing a problem is acknowledging there is a problem, so you're on the right track already!"
Solidarity laughed before he hummed, "Anyways, all this to say that if we do start dating and you get these comments about how I'm supposedly not over Scott or how you're 'just a rebound', that's untrue and ignore it. Scott and I broke up in high school."
"Wait, wait, with how you talked about this, this sounds like a recent break up! You guys broke up in high school?"
"Yep. And trust me, I know." He sighed, "It's why I moved here, mainly to put some distance between myself and the friend group and my siblings. I don't want them to choose between Scott and I, but I just don't want to hear how hung up I apparently am or how I need to get back in the dating field or if I ignore Scott or don't do something for him, I'm holding a grudge!" He huffed.
Tango hugged him more, "Well, don't worry, I'm not one to take shit lying down! If they want to poke fun, I poke back but harder!" He giggled, "In the meantime, why don't I introduce you to my friends? It'll be good to meet new people, plus it will help to keep your mind of things!"
Solidarity smiled, "I'd like that."
The two became an official couple, Tango showing Solidarity off to all his friends. Solidarity asked Tango if he was okay with him waiting before he told his friends and siblings, Tango not minding. In the meantime, the dirty blonde fit right in with Skizz, Impulse, Zed, Bdubs, and Etho. With his clumsy, adorable but sweet attitude, it meshed well with the chaotic mess that could be Skizz and Zed in the same room. Solidarity also got along with Etho and Impulse, the three usually acting as the peacemakers when Tango and Bdubs joined in on whatever chaos Zed and Skizz tried to bring. It was overall a great thing and Tango could see his beautiful boyfriend seemed to glow even more. It was like a dark cloud he noticed that was always over Solidarity's head seemed to finally disappear, especially since he's been on his phone or computer less, talking to that friend group less.
One night, the group were all at Impulse's house, sharing a few drinks and laughs, when Solidarity's phone buzzed. He hummed, a bit tipsy as he answered the phone without checking the caller ID.
"Hello-" He paused and his face fell immediately. He looked at Tango, who looked at him, concerned. Solidarity then seemed to get an idea, eyes widening as he smirked, "Okay, wait one second, hold on!" He put the phone on speaker, leaning into Tango, "Can you hear me?"
"Yeaaaah?" A Scottish voice responded in a questioning tone.
"Okay, good." He then looked at the blonde, playing with his hair, "Tango, Light, could you introduce yourself to Scott for me?"
Tango's eyes widened before he smirked, taking the phone, "Hello Mr. Scott, my name is Tango Tek, aka light of Solidarity's life, aka his honey, aka his handsome man, aka his soulmate, aka his rancher, aka his boyfriend, and we are actually currently in the middle of making out so we would appreciate no more interruptions! I know it's been awhile for you, but I need Soli's soft lips on mine, it is quite addicting! To bad you can't experience it! Buh-byyyyyyyye~!" He hung up, everyone laughing as the blonde gave Solidarity his phone back and kissed his cheek.
"Who was that?" Zed asked.
Tango wrapped an arm around his boyfriend, "Crazy ex."
"Crazy stalker ex?" Etho prodded.
"Not stalker level yet." Solidarity reassured, "But definitely crazy ex. From high school."
"Yep, that'll do it." Bdubs joked, "Anyone need another drink? I'm heading to the kitchen."
The night continued and everyone slept over, seeing as they were not going to drink and drive. Tango and Solidarity shared the couch, the dirty blonde acting as Tango's blanket as they cuddled and slept together. So, it made it very obvious when Solidarity got off the couch, causing the blonde to stir as his weighted blanket was no longer there. He sat up, glancing around before hearing something outside. Tango walked outside and saw Solidarity, very clearly frustrated, tears in his eyes with the tension in his body.
"...Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, i didn't tell you guys for this exact reason?!" Solidarity yelled, "...Yeah, you're my brother, and yet you constantly choose Scott over me! Don't-! ...No, you can't even say that, don't you dare say that! I've told you repeatedly that Scott makes me uncomfortable, that I don't like him being around, and you, with everyone else, brushed me off because I 'have to get over him!'" The dirty blonde said in a mocking voice with air quotes.
He was silent, before hissing out, "He called me! The only reason you all now know I'm dating is cause Scott can't get over the fact I moved two hours away from everyone and refuse to give him my address or pick him up when he goes out drinking! I was going to tell you all on my time, but of course, Scott ruined it because he fucking ruins everything! So, yes, I am dating someone! Okay?! Happy?! Bye!" He hung up.
Tango moved and hugged him, Solidarity leaning into him. The blonde rubbed the other's back, feeling Solidarity shake in frustration as his tears stained Tango's shirt. Tango cooed and rubbed circles into his back, kissing his forehead.
"I'm so sick of him..." The dirty blonde murmured.
Tango nodded, "Do you want me to block him for you?"
"No, it-"
"I can be the bad guy. If he complains, tell him and his flying monkeys that I feel uncomfortable with your ex trying to talk with you."
Solidarity hummed, "Later... Just hold me now..."
Tango hugged him tighter, "Gladly."
After everyone had woken up and began eating breakfast, Tango took Solidarity's phone, sending Scott a text and prefaced it by saying it was him and how he didn't feel comfortable with Scott talking to Solidarity when they were together and to please not text or call him anymore before blocking him. When the two got home, Solidarity had gotten a bunch of texts from his brother and sister as well as mutual friends he had with Scott, all saying how they didn't know he was dating someone new, asking why he didn't tell them, and then asking why Tango blocked Scott.
"The more they talk, the more I just want to go no contact." Solidarity admitted, "It's always about Scott. If I don't help him, I'm an asshole holding a grudge over the breakup. If I do help, I'm still hung up. Blocking him for 'no reason' is not okay and I need to let go. I'm just so over this."
Tango took his phone and shut it off, "Okay, let's just forget about electronics for the day. How about we do something to get your mind off things?"
"Like what?"
Tango kissed his cheek, smiling, "We could go to the bedroom~?"
"Oh my god!" Solidarity laughed, "Trying to get in my pants when this is serious talk?"
"Serious does not mean important! Besides, it'll make sure your mind is only on me soooooo~?"
"You're ridiculous." The dirty blonde kissed his nose, smiling, "Let's go."
When Solidarity turned his phone on the next day, he sent a simple text to everyone.
Solidarity:  Yes, I'm in a new relationship, I have been for two months. I didn't say anything because I wanted to wait and get more serious. I also don't want to jeopardize this relationship. Out of respect for Tango, and myself, I'm going to ask you to stop trying to get me to talk with Scott.
Of course, people tried to ask more questions, but he made another text, simply saying "I don't feel comfortable sharing anymore details. Please just respect my boundaries." Of course, some complained, but he just closed his phone, ignoring it.
"I think they're starting to see you've developed quite a backbone!" Tango encouraged.
"Thanks to you, really." The dirty blonde smiled, "I really like you and our relationship means more to me than that friend group. Time to actually prove it, I guess."
"I'm proud of you." Tango kissed his lips, "I know it's hard putting down boundaries and sticking up for yourself, but once you get used to it, it becomes easier."
Solidarity nodded, smiling.
***
Solidarity didn't introduce Tango to his brother and sister and the friend group for about a year. Tango respected his decision and understood why, judging from their reactions when the dirty blonde first blocked Scott, he wasn't sure they would even accept that Solidarity actually moved on. However, it was Christmas and Solidarity explained he had been skipping the past couple holidays because he knew Scott would be there and didn't want to deal with the inevitable.
"It's been a year and we've been together ever since. Why don't we give them a chance?"
Solidarity was hesitant, "...I don't know."
"Come on, please?" Tango hugged him, "I can handle myself just fine, love! And I can shut them down! You know I can!"
The dirty blonde hesitated again before he sighed, "The moment I feel uncomfortable and ask you to pack your stuff, we leave."
"Of course!"
So, they made their way to Solidarity's brother's house, two hours away. Solidarity tapped anxiously on the steering wheel, biting his bottom lip.
"It's okay, we'll be fine." Tango reassured, able to see the other white-knuckling the steering wheel.
"I-I just-!" He took a deep breath, "I know Scott is probably going to be there and he's going to mention our high school days a lot."
Tango shrugged, "Okay?"
"We used to call ourselves 'Flower Husbands' because we were teenagers exploring our sexuality or how he was my first relationship or how he was my first kiss or how he was my first whatever else." The dirty blonde rolled his eyes, sighing, "He's just going to try to embarrass me or make you jealous or something else."
"Was he your first? In, like, the bedroom department?"
Solidarity blushed darkly, "T-TANGO!"
"Yes or no?"
"I-I already told you, you were my first- oh..." The dirty blonde chuckled, "You are going to use that, aren't you?"
The blonde snickered, "Of course! I'll just mention how I deflowered one of the Flower Husbands and maybe it'll shut him up!"
"Idiot." Solidarity teased.
They continued talking and laughing, having an amazing time as they distracted themselves while driving. Eventually, they pulled up to the house and Solidarity sighed, taking a deep breath. There were a couple of cars already crowding the driveway, so Solidarity just parked in the grass. Tango was the first to step out, but the dirty blonde didn't move. He went to the driver's side, opening the door and kneeling down. He could see the other shaking a bit, biting his bottom lip anxiously, tapping his fingers on the wheel.
"It's okay." Tango reassured, cupping his face, "Soli, it's fine. You know me, I won't get jealous or feel threatened or whatever, no matter what anyone says."
"I-I know, I just..." Solidarity leaned into his touch, closing his eyes as he shook a bit, "I'm not worried about you..."
"Excuse me?"
Tango turned, seeing a brunette woman standing on the porch.
"Can I help you?" She asked, "Are you lost? This is private property."
"Uh, no, I'm not lost! Hi, I'm Tango, Soli's boyfriend!" Tango explained, standing up.
"'Soli?'" She repeated, confused.
"Solidarity?" Tango explained, "I-I call him Soli!"
Solidarity hesitantly got out of the car, Tango hovering over him. He shut the car door and smiled, but the man could see the anxiety written on his face still. Solidarity took Tango's hand in his, the blonde squeezing reassuringly.
"Hi Pearl." Solidarity smiled, relaxing a bit as he motioned to the blonde, "This is Tango. My boyfriend for a year and three months."
"Four months, really! I just wanted to take you out on a lot of pre-boyfriend dates!" Tango argued.
"Don't tell on yourself, Tango, my sister will think you're a coward for waiting a month to officially ask to be my boyfriend." The dirty blonde teased before looking at Pearl, "It's good to see you."
The brunette laughed, "Awww, you both are cute. It's nice to meet you Tango!" She walked over, hugging her brother, "And good to see ya, Jim. Come on! We're still waiting on a couple of people!"
They walked inside and Solidarity introduced Tango to Grian, his brother, and then some of the people in the friend group. Gem and Fwhip (who were twins), Joel and Lizzie (a married couple), Cleo, Scar, and Mumbo. All were polite, introducing themselves.
"Other people will be coming, but it's good to finally meet Solidarity's secret boyfriend!" Joel teased, raising an eyebrow, "Scott will be coming, hope it won't make you uncomfortable." He said in a nice tone, but Tango and Solidarity knew he was mocking the blonde.
Solidarity narrowed his eyes slightly, annoyed.
However, Tango just smiled, "Actually, it'd be great to meet the person who drunk called at two am and immediately hung up when I answered!" He said in the same nice voice before he looked at the dirty blonde, fake gasping, "WAIT! Do you think he hung up cause he had a crush on me?! Oh my god, Soli, I'm not prepared, where's the bathroom! I need to make myself presentable!"
Everyone laughed besides Joel, who narrowed his eyes a bit. Solidarity looked at Joel, took Tango's hand and kissed the blonde's cheek before pulling him to the couch. Everyone either caught up with Solidarity or got to know Tango better. Occasionally, either Fwhip or Joel would slip in a snarky comment about Tango blocking Scott or feeling uncomfortable with Scott, but disguised it as playful banter. Tango never took the bait, laughing it off or giving it right back.
At one point, he asked Joel, "Oh, so Lizzie must still talk to her exes, right? Seeing as you're so interested in Soli talking to his!"
Joel actually seemed shocked by this, responding, "Uh, no? Why would she? We're married, I wouldn't want her doing that."
"Huh, weird that you wouldn't want your wife talking to her exes." Tango looked at Solidarity, "I couldn't imagine that."
"Me either." Solidarity hummed, looking at Joel, "Anyways, what were you saying about Scott?"
That seemed to be the moment Joel sort of backed off. Fwhip still tried to get under Tango's skin, but Solidarity knew his boyfriend was a master of "not giving a shit". He watched Tango take whatever was thrown at him and either laughed it off or gave the same energy right back. He smiled and leaned into the other, happy.
However, after about an hour and a half, a couple more people arrived. Tango was introduced to Sausage, Martyn and Ren (a couple, Martyn being one of the ones who Solidarity actually talked to on a regular basis and who Tango immediately liked as the blonde whispered to him "Scott's a huge dick but has everyone wrapped around his finger, don't let him get to you or Timmy."), Big B, and Cub.
And, of course, Scott.
The man was last to arrive. He walked in and everyone, besides Solidarity, Tango, Martyn, and Ren, cheered, saying hi to him and giving him a hug. Scott laughed and hugged back before turning. He gasped as his eyes landed on Solidarity, smiling brightly.
"Dary, oh my god, it's been forever! How are you? It's so good to finally see you again!" He opened his arms to give the other a hug.
Tango could see his boyfriend stiffen up. So, he stepped in front of him and hugged Scott instead, "Hi! It's nice to finally meet you! I've heard so much about you from Grian, Joel, and Fwhip!" Scott pulled back, confused, but Tango held his hand, shaking it.
"Oh, uh, who are-?"
"It's such a pleasure to meet you! My name is Tango!" The blonde smiled innocently, "I'm Soli's boyfriend! We've been dating for a year and four months, not that anyone is counting."
"Three. You insisted on taking me on one month pre-boyfriend dates." Solidarity laughed.
"But we were still exclusive!" Tango turned around and gave Solidarity a hug, the dirty blonde happily returning it, "So that month counts!"
"You know what? It's Christmas, we'll let it count!"
"Yes!" The blonde cheered before he looked back at Scott, leaning into the dirty blonde. Solidarity wrapped one arm around his shoulders as Tango hugged his side, smiling at the other, "Anyways, yeah, it's so nice to finally meet you!"
Solidarity offered his other hand, seeing as the one was wrapped around Tango and too occupied for a hug, "Good to see you again, Scott."
Scott was obviously displeased, but smiled, shaking Solidarity's hand, "You too, Dary."
The man left to greet everyone else as Martyn and Ren walked towards Tango and Solidarity.
"Well damn, I like you." Martyn chuckled, whispering, "You sure know the rules of Scott's game."
Tango smiled innocently, "No idea what you're talking about."
Solidarity laughed, "Mar and I fake dated for awhile in hopes of Scott dropping the whole 'I'm hung up' shtick, and he's never acted like that."
"You got under his skin good." Ren complimented, the four looking at Scott, who was talking with Joel and Lizzie, "He's just going to step up his game."
"Good." Tango chuckled, "I hope so. Soli, how uncomfortable am I going to make everyone?"
"You have my complete consent to do whatever you want to do."
"Ohoho, that's dangerous, Love."
"It is for them, Light."
For the night, Tango stuck to Solidarity like glue, acting like the clingiest boyfriend in the world and Solidarity couldn't be happier with it. They mainly sat on the couch and talked with others, Scott moving to sit beside them occasionally. Because Solidarity was sitting against the arm rest and Tango was next to him, Scott simply sat on Tango's other side, even though he seemed a bit unhappy about it. The conversation flowed with people asking Solidarity how he was doing, if he would be visiting more, and asking Tango about his work, what he did, etc.
Scott would try to bring up something about an old date, but Tango would "accidentally" interrupt, telling a story about their first date or the time Solidarity taught Tango how to ice skate or the time Tango showed Solidarity a trick he knew on how to always win claw machines, even taking out his phone and gushing about the cat he and Solidarity adopted together that Solidarity named Norman.
"He loves naming animals human names, it's sooooooo cute!" Tango giggled before gasping, turning to look at Scott, "Oh, sorry, I hope you don't mind! I'm just so happy to finally meet everyone! I mean, Soli was so scared coming down here, thinking I wouldn't be accepted or fit in. I'm sure you've had to help him through an anxiety or panic attack before, right!"
Scott stared, "No, actually, I haven't."
"Oh, really?" Tango asked, faking confusion because he knew the answer.
"Wait, since when have you had anxiety, Solidarity?" Fwhip asked.
Gem elbowed him, "Dude. Not how you ask."
"It's cool Gem, I was only recently diagnosed so I don't blame him." Solidarity chuckled, smiling awkwardly before looking at Tango, "It was I think two months after I met you? So that's... what, two years?"
"That sounds about right." He looked at the rest of the group, smiling innocently, "He must've changed a lot since high school if no one noticed." He hummed, looking at Scott, "Poor thing was so nervous no one would like me! He was so scared no one would accept me because they all were hung up on you and your past relationship!"
Scott narrowed his eyes a bit, Solidarity blushing as he let out a "T-Tango!"
Everyone laughed, either not noticing the slight accusation or choosing to ignore it, conversation continuing to flow. At one point, Solidarity had to use the bathroom, the man standing up to go. Tango playfully cried out an "Don't leave me!", the group continuing to laugh, talk, and joke.
"Oh, Tango, I have to ask-" Scott smiled innocently at the blonde, "-does Dary still get embarrassed over PDA? I swear, kissing him is like pulling teeth sometimes!"
"No, actually! He loves to share kisses with me! He's such a giver, it's adorable!" Tango giggled, smiling back innocently, "He's such a cuddler too, he's like a puppy sometimes!"
"I guess that makes sense. I was his first kiss after all, he was so embarrassed about it. I could hardly get him to stay still sometimes!" Scott had a sly smirk on his face, "Guess you can thank me for his confidence! He learned from the best!"
"Nah, it's thanks to me! After all-" He leaned towards Scott, whispering in his ear as he smirked, "-I was the first one to get him to spread his legs."
Scott blushed darkly, eyes widening.
"His entire body was red, he was so embarrassed the first time. But now? I can't keep up, half the time. You should see him on his knees, begging. He's so good at it. He really is like a dog." Tango pulled away, smiling innocently, "A good one! The best one!"
Before anyone could ask or say anything, Solidarity came back. He sat next to Tango, the blonde smirking at Scott. He grabbed the other's chin and pulled him in for a kiss, Solidarity kissing back with no hesitation, even wrapping an arm around his waist. When they pulled back, Tango leaned into him, Solidarity keeping his arm in it's place.
Solidarity laughed a bit, face turning red, "You're ridiculous!"
"You love it!"
Scott excused himself to the bathroom, Tango just smiling.
Eventually, dinner was done and everyone got their plates of food. Scott had come back and got his own food. Tango and Solidarity hadn't noticed that they had switched places (with Tango by the arm rest), so Scott sat beside Solidarity. The blonde went to move or say something, but Solidarity gave him an "it's fine" look and smile. Everyone sat around in the living room, talking, bouncing stories off each other, Tango excitedly listening to the stories of young Solidarity, who either blushed in embarrassment or yelled to "not tell that one!" They asked Tango and Solidarity questions about them and their relationship, what it was like living two hours away, if they had any plans to move back, overall having a good time.
Until the alcohol was brought out.
Grian offered cups to everyone, Tango looking at Solidarity.
"You drink as much as you want, I'll drive." Solidarity reassured with a smile.
"Can you drive me too, then?" Scott asked, holding his own cup and beginning to gently draw shapes on his arm.
Solidarity stiffened, "I'm sure someone else can, Tango and I have to go in the opposite direction of your place."
"Awwww, you used to do it all the time when we would sneak alcohol." Scott chuckled, "Remember when we would steal my from my dad's stash? Grian caught us one time and was pissed!"
"Yeah, cause I thought Solidarity had never drank before, especially when you were both fifteen!" Grian teased.
Scott laughed, everyone did, but Solidarity and Tango. Tango held Solidarity's hand, rubbing circles in his palm to try and ground him as the other was stiff.
"Come on, I don't drink and drive and I left my car at home knowing about the alcohol! Are you gonna leave this power damsel all by himself?" Scott teased, drawing flower shapes on Solidarity's arm, "Will Tango not let you?" He accused, but said it in a teasing manner, everyone but Solidarity, Tango, Martyn, and Ren chuckling a bit.
The blonde could feel Solidarity tense up more. He smiled innocently, "Scott, why do you always ask Soli, are you still hung up on him?"
"H-Huh?! What, no, he-"
"Then I think it's weird how you always ask Soli." Tango said in the same teasing voice, though his accusation was more clear.
"He's right, Scott!" Martyn called, also having that teasing voice, "You know what, Ren can take us home! Ren's not allowed to drink outside our house!"
"It was one time!" Ren groaned playfully, both still trying to keep the playful energy, trying to ease the tension.
"One too many times!"
Solidarity was still stiff.
Tango spoke up, "Listen, if I convince him to take you home, will you promise we won't get a drunk call? Look how beautiful Soli is! He gets more pretty in his sleep and I can't have you ruining my eye candy!"
Scott flushed before he smiled, recovering with, "Come on, can't we share him? I mean, he already has me blocked because I make you uncomfortable, I just want to spend more time with him! He rarely visits nowadays!"
"Gee, I wonder why." Solidarity said, unable to mask his annoyance.
Tango stopped the teasing, looking at the other, "Soli-"
"What's wrong, Dary?" Scott asked, still tracing shapes on his arm.
Solidarity took a deep breath and retracted his arm, standing up, "Tango, get your things, we're leaving."
Tango stood up and grabbed his and Solidarity's things, seeing as Grian and Pearl stood up, trying to stop their brother, everyone else too stunned to move or say anything at the suddenness.
"Timmy, what's wrong?" "Nothing, I just want to leave-" "Come on Jim, it's Christmas, please stay!" "Both of you, move, I want to leave!" "You were never like this before, what the hell happened?!" "You know what happened!" "No we don't because you refuse to talk or visit us half the time!" "I've told you why, you just refuse to listen to me!"
Tango grabbed Solidarity's arm, pulling him past them, "Come on, Love, just look down, I'll drive-"
"Hold on, we're talking-"
"With all due respect, Grian, your brother is about to have a panic attack!" Tango glared, standing in front of Solidarity, protecting him as the other shook. Martyn and Ren climbed over the couch and tried to calm him down as Tango hissed, "I'm trying to get him away from people and in a safe place so he can calm down! So, if you'll excuse us-"
"Oh, and you know so much more about him than me, right?!" Grian glared, "You guys have been together for a year and yet you know more than his own brother?"
"Apparently, I do, he moved away for a reason!" The blonde hissed.
"You-!"
"Come on, Soli-"
Pearl grabbed Solidarity's arm, "Guys, please just calm down! Jimmy, if you need a safe place, you can go in your old room and-"
"DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND I WANT TO LEAVE BECAUSE THIS WHOLE HOUSE FEELS UNSAFE?!" Solidarity screamed, facing Pearl, retracting his arm, "THIS ENTIRE HOUSE IS UNSAFE BECAUSE OF HIM!" He motioned to Scott.
"Dary, what-"
"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" The man faced the other, "I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU COUNTLESS TIMES, I DON'T LIKE THAT NICKNAME! I DON'T LIKE ANYONE WHO ISN'T FAMILY OR MY PARTNER USING A NICKNAME! I'VE TOLD YOU THAT, OVER AND OVER AND OVER, AND I'VE TOLD YOU WHY, AND YOU REFUSE TO FUCKING LISTEN!"
"Hey, let's all just calm down!" Lizzie exclaimed, "Scott didn't do anything-"
"Shut up, Lizzie!" Solidarity growled.
"Woah, don't talk-"
"Shut up, Joel!" The dirty blonde repeated, motioning around the house, "THIS! This is why I don't come down here, this is exactly why! Everyone pushes my boundaries and then tells me to calm down, that I'm overreacting, that I'm being too sensitive, that I can't take a joke! So you know what?! FINE! I won't be back!"
"Solida-"
"NO! I'm tired of this, I'm tired of all this! I'm tired of being told I need to move on from Scott, that I need to let go of a grudge, that I need to just accept things, stuff that I have already done!" Solidarity looked at Scott, glaring, "I wish I never dated you if this is how you would react. Congrats, you've convinced everyone, including my own brother and sister, that I apparently am hung up on you! Despite the fact I have recorded voicemails of you crying, saying how you miss me, how you love me, how you wish we could go back to the way things were! Despite the fact I would pick you up so you didn't walk home drunk, and you tried to kiss me or make me stay the night! Despite the fact you would touch my arms and back and legs and I would not reciprocate, in fact, I would go stiff or tell you to stop, but you didn't care! Despite the fact I moved two hours away so I didn't have to deal with this! Yep, I'm still hung up on you! Tango is totally just a rebound and I am totally just waiting for you to confess your undying love for me so we can live happily ever after! Yep, that's exactly what I'm doing!"
He motioned towards the room, "And you all believe it! Let me tell you all the truth! Scott and I broke up amicably and I haven't looked back once! In fact, I blocked Scott, because I was uncomfortable, but Tango was gracious enough to take the fall because he knew the drama would stress me out!"
"Timmy, come on." Martyn gently pulled the other away, "You don't have to prove anything to anyone-"
"I-I am happy in my new relationship!" Solidarity whimpered, Tango hugging his arm as he was led out, "A relationship where I am respected, my feelings are considered, I can speak and not worry about if I say is the right or wrong thing, where I finally was able to grow a fucking spine! Unlike here, where I feel so shitty because you all make it seem like my comfortably doesn't matter." He was led to the door, "F-For future reference, if Scott is here, I'm not coming. If any of you try to make me apologize or try to reconcile, I will block you. I've been debating on doing this for months, but Tango thought I should give you all one more chance, see if you all have changed. Clearly, you haven't."
Solidarity was led to the car, getting in the passenger seat. Martyn and Tango calmed him down as Ren gathered his and Martyn's things. Once he was calm enough, Tango shut the door, thanking the two profusely. Martyn gave Tango his phone number, asking him to please just text or call him when they got home, Tango promising he would. Tango then got in the front seat and began to reverse, driving away. The dirty blonde gave him his phone, which was already beginning to blow up with texts and calls. Tango took it and shut it off. They sat in silence, the blonde holding Solidarity's hand as the other shook, tears streaming down his face.
"I'm proud of you." Tango reassured.
"...Thanks... You did really good... Not letting him get under your skin..." The dirty blonde shook, wiping his eyes, "I just couldn't, not when he began touching me..."
"I understand, Love."
"I'm s-"
"No need to apologize. You have nothing to be sorry for. Boundaries are for you, not for anyone else." Tango looked at him, smiling, "You should be proud."
Solidarity smiled a bit, "Thank you." He whispered meekly.
The two sat in a comfortable silence, driving home.
AN: This was more of just a story of setting boundaries and me projecting onto my comfort characters. Hope you liked it even if it was more of a vent kinda?

Another request because I just thought of the funniest thing, if you’re up for it😅prompt 14
14. "Do you want me to kiss it better?" Except in a different concept. Would I be able to get it with Star? And the reader is dating one of the boys so naturally they’re in the cave as well. They end up bringing Star out of her refined shell more by joking around with her. So like a sarcastic sibling, they’re constantly messing with Star but is more gentle than the guys when it comes to it.
I hope you like this!😘
-------------------------
Star hadn't known what to think if you when she was first introduced to you by David. He said you'd be hanging with them now and that - apparently - you were mated to one of them. David, however, did refuse to tell to whom, something that annoyed Star greatly and was probably the cause of her coldness towards you in the beginning.
She kept to herself, hardly even greeting you when you entered the cave. Hardly acknowledging you whenever the boys included you in a conversation, which obviously was all the time.
It wasn't until almost a year had passed that Star began to realise that you'd be staying and that you really weren't that bad. But by the time she realised that, she didn't know how to change her act anymore. She'd been cold towards you for almost twelve months, and suddenly changing that and becoming cosy with you? It felt wrong and off. She did, however, start to acknowledge you a bit more. Nothing much, just a small quiet "hey" whenever you entered the cave, but it was something, right?
"Oh my god!" Star looked up as she heard your voice. "You- you can see me?"
She rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile shyly. "I just said hi."
"That's more than you've ever spoken to me ever since I met you. What, did you find a dictionary or something?"
If it hadn't been for your teasing tone, Star would have - well, she didn't know what she would have done, but she would not have continued talking to you, that's for certain.
Moments like that happened more and more often. Star still didn't really consider you a friend, but slowly but surely she came to see you as one.
"Are the boys in?" You'd ask one night, entering the cave. Star shook her head, causing you to shrug.
"That's a shame." You held up a bag. "You want some cake? It's fresh."
"You bake?"
"Sometimes. I wanted to share with the boys, but since they're not here, I thought, why not share with you."
Star frowned at that - were the two of you already that close to share homemade food? Still, she took a slice - inspecting it before bringing it to her mouth.
"It's poisoned. Sorry."
"What?!"
"Kidding! Jesus, why would I poison cake? If I were to poison something, I'd go with an apple or something. Something classy, you know?"
"I don't know if poison is that classy," Star mumbled before taking a bite.
"Sure it is, it's mess free. Well, mostly anyway. Why would you be so scared of me messing with your food?"
"Have you eaten with the boys?"
"Yeah?"
"They never tricked you?" Star asked, slight surprise written over her face as she saw you shake your head.
"What, like, forcing me to eat worms?"
"Yeah?"
"No?"
"For real?"
"Is that why you're so -" you motioned towards her, "with the cake? Scared I force you to eat frogspawn? Snailslime?"
"Ew!" Star made a face, dropping her cake in the process. You couldn't help but laugh, pulling her in for a hug.
"Oh no, that poor slice of cake!"
Star laughed, coughing loudly as she inhaled some crumbs. "Poor-" she coughed -" cake?"
"Yeah! It fell so high, all the way to the ground, it's sad!"
"How about me almost dying on your cake?"
"Hey, it's your fault for inhaling it, I told you there's no poison in there," you grinned before asking if she was okay.
"Well, I guess."
"Do you want me to kiss it better?"
Star raised an eyebrow as she looked at you. "What? Why would you kiss me better?"
"Hey, I was asking the cake alright? It fell and broke."
Star laughed, shaking her head slightly as she looked at you. Damn, she regretted being so cold the year before. You were different than she'd expected, and you were definitely someone she wanted to keep around. So when you offered her another slice, dramatically saying farewell to the fallen one - by feeding it to Marko's pigeons - she readily took one.

Can I request a oneshot with Leshy from Cult of the Lamb and this child follower who just follows him eVeRyWhErE, and after getting mad at the child he's just like, 'yo heket I have a kid' and he's unbelievably chill about it after that and eventually just brings the kid with him instead of the child stalking him. (And platonically because I'm not that kind of weird--)
If you don't write for platonics or just don't want to write this please ignore-- have a wonderful timezone!
Awe this is such a cute idea!! Also for the child follower y/n I decided to make Lamb their parent (I'll leave the other parent up to interpretation).
...........
"Lesh!"
"Augh!! Lamb's little brat...how dare you stand in my way?! I could have tripped over you and spilled all these beetroots!"
"Sorry. I thought you'd wanna play tag..."
"Tag? No, thank you. I feel as though I'd be at a great disadvantage. Why don't you go find somebody else to play with? Perhaps someone who still has their sight."
"Okaaaay!"
"Good. Now away with you." Shooing you off, Leshy heard your hoof-steps running away from him. As he put the vegetables into the farming station's chest, he growled in irritation upon hearing Lamb's annoying bleating, as well as your own as you greeted them.
If only he could roll his nonexistent eyes...
For the Red Crown's vessel to marry their most devoted follower was one thing...but to have a child with them, too??
That's something he didn't expect when he first arrived into the cult. It probably wouldn't have bothered him so much if you weren't half-sheep and chose to annoy him in particular.
He's not sure how much time had passed between your birth and Lamb "saving" him and his siblings from purgatory...but you've grown into quite the irritable spawn.
You only proved his point when you returned a few minutes later, and he slammed the chest closed, making you stop in your tracks.
"The clopping of your hooves gives me a headache sometimes..what is it now?"
"Lammy asked me to ask you if um...you could lead the harvest ritual this evening?" You smiled up at him, oblivious to his attitude and snappy words.
".....they couldn't just ask me themselves??!" He groaned. "Fine. Tell them I will begin it at sundown. And I'm not waiting for everyone. If they're late, oh well."
"Will do! Thank you, Lesh!!"
The green bushworm huffed and tried going back to his work, only to become startled when you rammed into him, hugging his torso tightly. It made him tense up as he hissed angrily at you. "Don't touch!!!"
You let him go, confused. "Why?"
"Because....!!!" Leshy paused, having remembered that Lamb was likely close by, watching him. So he took a moment to think of another excuse. "...because..you may get ichor in your wool. We bishops haven't fully healed yet..so you may get sick."
"Ohhhhh, I see it. Sorry, Lesh! I'll be more careful next time!"
Nodding, he heard you leave to tell your parent what he said, and he was convinced you were officially gone for good this time.
Then his ears picked up the sound of a wheezy chuckle.
"I hear you, sister..."
"Brother...is...warming up....to them.." Heket teased as she approached her younger brother, nudging his elbow playfully.
"As if! I only put on the act because Lamb's around." He scoffed, shaking his head. "They won't hesitate to make me relive my death again if I do anything to upset their little spawn.."
"Hm..good...luck. I'm...hungry...bye...." The red frog decided to leave him alone and head to the kitchen station.
And for a while, Leshy was able to finish his tasks at the farm without any disturbances. But just as he brushed the dirt off his hands and was ready to eat, too, he overheard Lamb talking with a random follower who hollered their name from across the base.
They spoke of having trouble confessing to someone they liked...so they wanted their leader to get flowers from his realm as a "gift" for this crush of theirs.
He thought it was outrageous.
'Does nobody here want to lift a finger anymore?! Or maybe..they're just too scared to enter my realm...so it must be doing well even without me to rule it. But if Lamb's going there, then.....no...would they..?'
It suddenly dawned on Leshy, and he scratched his bandages, finally remembering something that has been weighing heavily on his mind:
A relic.
Specifically a piece of him that was lost to the woods.
He remembers commanding the worms to hide it for him so none of his devotees tried to seize its power for themselves.
For as long as he's been in Lamb's cult, he learned they were an excellent scavenger--willing to retrieve bundles of silk or crystals for their more artsy followers, and even mushrooms for those who were "curious" about them.
They've reunited friends and siblings...even the ones who killed their entire species.
Surely, he could ask them about it.
It wouldn't hurt to try, right?
After the follower left, Leshy walked over to you and Lamb, ignoring your greeting of excitement when he arrived, as well as him making no effort to stop you from playing with his tail. It just swished around, and you kept jumping over it like some rope.
"Lamb. Just so we're clear..this is not a favor, I do not need your charity." He warned.
"...okay? What is it?" They tilted their head, closing their doctrine book.
"Well...when dear brother Narinder struck us in his fury, my eyes were torn from the socket. One was salvaged, and hidden in the tangled Darkwood. I despair at the thought of it being uncovered by some simple-minded beast..."
He took a pause, before sighing. "You have navigated my realm once before, do so again and recover my eye. Perhaps we can...make an arrangement."
As expected, Lamb was adamant. "Why should I find something that your "dear brother" took? Why don't you ask him since it's his fault? Or maybe you can go find it yourself?"
"You know I can't. If he goes, he'll lie and claim it's gone forever. If I go, all of Darkwood will be out for my head!" He huffed. "I thought it was your duty to cater to your followers' needs. You've never sent one back into the maw of Silk Cradle to find their lost brother, even though it's their fault for-"
"That's different, Leshy. You don't get to group yourself with them just yet." They warned, scowling at him. "They don't know these realms like you do. They have good hearts, led astray by your hubris and corruption. You were a rotten bishop who ruined their lives..ruined my life...and on that note, you've shown my child nothing but disrespect since the moment you arrived."
At the mention of you, you stopped playing around and frowned. "Lammy-"
"Disrespect?! They've been following me nonstop and disrupting my work!!" He exploded. "But of course you'll never believe me because they're such a "perfect little angel" in your eyes-"
"THAT'S ENOUGH, WRETCHED WORM!!!"
Suddenly, Leshy felt his throat tightening up as his feet were lifted off the ground. And he coughed, clasping his hands around his neck as he realized what was happening to him:
Lamb was strangling him.
And there's no way for him to fight the invisible force that kept crushing his windpipe. He could only gag and beg for mercy, becoming panicked quickly as the ichor dripped down his face faster.
Why did this feel more agonizing than the sharp blades that sliced and diced into him dozens of times?
"Never forget the god who usurped you and granted vermin like you the blessing of redemption.." The sheep snarled, eyes glowing red with rage, sharp teeth bared as they watched the bushworm writhe. "Speak illy of my child again, and I will-"
"Lammy, stop it!! You're hurting him!"
They felt a tug on their cloak and looked at you, having forgotten that you've been standing there the entire time. A look of horror flashed in their eyes as they quickly set Leshy down, allowing him to catch his breath.
"Oh no..I...forgive me, my dear." Embracing you, they gave you a tiny smile after their demonic features disappeared. "I-I didn't mean to make you see that, but...you must understand why I did it, right? He was being very rude and unkind to-"
"He didn't mean it." You pouted, although you did hug them back. "Will you find his eye?"
Leshy glanced up in bewilderment.
Did he hear you correctly?
Lamb was just as stunned that you were taking his side, blinking. "But [y/n]-"
"No! You have to find it, Lammy! He's only grouchy because he doesn't have his missing eye." Your gaze went to the bushworm. "I bet if you find it for him, he'll feel better!"
"...I suppose you're right about that." They sighed in defeat, standing up and turning to him. "You are fortunate that my child has such a forgiving heart, so...I will search for your eye when I have the time. But remember that I'm doing this for them, not for you."
Leshy just nodded in understanding, awkwardly scratching his bandages as he heard hoof steps walking away from him. Yet he was too afraid of moving from his kneeling position.
"It's okay. It's just me, Lesh."
Feeling your smaller hands take his own, his shoulders relaxed a little as you brushed some of the ichor off his face with a cloth you found. "Don't cry, it's okay now."
"I-I..had it coming." He finally found his voice, still shaken up over the altercation. "It's my fault. I was the one acting more childish than you..and I owe you an apology for-"
"No, Lammy should be sorry." You frowned and hugged him. "I don't like it when they do that. You're right..they should help everyone here. Even you."
This time he didn't push you away and instead wrapped his arms around you, feeling the wool on top of your head and the nubs that would soon sprout into horns.
Lamb was right.
He felt blessed to have your forgiveness...or else he surely would have met a grim demise.
Maybe you weren't as annoying as he previously thought.
"..thank you, [y/n], for standing by me. Will you...let me know when your parent returns with my eye?" He hesitated to ask.
Yet you immediately answered with enthusiasm.
"Of course!"
..........
"Sister! My child's green thumb continues to flourish!"
"....you....have...child...?"
"Over there!"
"...Lamb's....spawn-?"
"No, no! That is [y/n]!" Leshy huffed, shaking his head as he heard you rapidly approaching. Then he crouched down with a smile, keeping his arms open so you could rush into them. "How are you today?"
"Great, Lesh!!" You giggled as he picked you up, although he sensed that you put something on his head. "It's a camelia crown. The most beautiful ones I could find! I feel sad you can't see it, though..."
"That is alright, little one. I still remember their colors and radiance.." His claws reached up to gently brush the petals, humming with nostalgia. "Its fragrance remains constant..so I know it's always here with me. Thank you."
Looking at Heket, you giggled again as you saw that her extra pair of eyes were now open, wide with disbelief at her brother's sudden change of heart. "Hek-Hek! I didn't know you had four eyes!"
"...what did...you do...to...brother?" She squinted in suspicion.
"Well, umm..I-" You stammered, trying to explain yourself.
"They insisted that Lamb recovered my eye." Leshy was quick to explain, setting you down on the ground. "At first they refused and got irrationally angry with me for "insulting" their child. But [y/n] spoke up in my defense and...their "Lammy" listened and retrieved it this morning. Looks like it was in one of Chemach's lairs, but I let them keep it."
"Huh.....why..?"
"It's more useful to them as a relic. It's not like I can reattach my own eye and see out of it again, but I find peace knowing it's here."
"...good...point..." Heket paused, before touching her own throat and thinking for a few moments. "Would...Lamb....find....it for..me...?"
"A throat sac? Hmm..you can certainly try, sister."
Nodding in understanding, she turned and walked away, eager to ask Lamb if they were willing to recover what she had lost within Anura.
Once she was gone, you tapped Leshy on the arm. "Can you help me get the fertilizer for the plants? It's....kinda icky and really smelly."
He smiled as well, patting the top of your head. "Of course, little one. You can leave all the "icky" work to me."
And with that, you both set off to the farming plot, with him not being bothered by your presence anymore.

Maybe... perhaps... more pony and darry being happy headcanons? I love their brotherly relationship sm! I'd especially like some post canon ones where darry is trying to help pony get back into regular life after everything that happened!
darry and pony, my loves
•after the book, darry would try to have one on one time w pony, guaranteed darrys a busy guy so most likely its just them hangin out at home, but they r trying to connect again
•personally i think that, even before their parents deaths, i dont think they were really close to each other, considering their ages, so them growing close is actually a first for em, its not like they DIDNT act like brothers, they just didnt connect one on one much
•id like to think that after that happened, darry tries getting more of a hold on when hes angry, to some degree he blames himself and wants to do right and “rectify” what he did
•darry hugs pony a bit tighter now, like before he would do it on accident, but now its on purpose, its like a “wow ur right here with me in this moment, right now, i couldnt be happier” kinda thing
•darry would try to make pony smile more, for example, telling jokes that pony doesnt exactly laugh at, but pony smiles anyways bc the thought was nice, and then the gang generally doesnt care how the chocolate cake is made however darry knows pony likes it a specific way, so sometimes he switches up his recipe so its how pony likes and pony can smile a bit more in the morning, those kinda things
•pony tries making darry smile too!!!however he doesnt exactly know how to, and he doesnt wanna look stupid, so he goes to soda about how to do it
•yes, darry is supposed to fill in the roll of being a father and mother, but i think sometimes he lets it slip and just acts like an older brother, annoying his younger sibling
•i think we should let pony kiss darrys forehead when hes asleep too, cmon guys whos w me on that one,,,,guys cmon,,,,,
•funny lil thought but on ponys 21st bday, darry took pony to drink and pony aint react and darry was like “so ur gonna explain urself???”
•theyre two of the most observant ppl of the whole gang, i think the gangs basically lucky pony and darry werent that close before or else they’d b in some kinda trouble w em😭
•sometimes darrys giving pony unsolicited dating advice and ponys just being forced to hear one of darrys dating stories, begging soda to get him out of it while sodas basically like “if i had to deal w it so do u”

Hey! So I just really wanted to ramble about thoughts about the lu boys what have been in my head for a while and I would love to hear your thoughts!
One
If zelda or fable would ever have kids which she would. I feel like she would have like three kids two being girls and one being a boy and her youngest daughter I feel like would be attached to legend like his biggest supporter and gets supper sad when he leaves for adventures.
Two
I think we established that legend is the younger out of the two siblings? If so I feel like legend would just follow fable around like a lost puppy just to annoy her and be like "Zel? Zelda? Sister? Queen of hyrule? Fable?" Ans just use all of her titles to annoy her. It got to a point we're impa had to hid all the swords from fable so she wouldn’t kill legend.
I feel like before we found out time was married to malon like with his ring? I fell like he would torture the boys endlessly like "have you figured it out yet? (Who's ever name they said) ah. No." And he would lead them kn to a wrong person.
Modern au thoughts.
I feel like legend would want to be on Broadway but he'll keep it to himself instead of telling malon or time his dreams only hyrule knows.
If legend did get on Broadway I know that warriors would the annoying brother and be like "at (what ever Broadway play) sporting (and would use the roll of the character legend was playing)" and post it on his Instagram.
Sry this is mostly legend!
Um... why are you apologized for primarily Legend content? Darling, that is what I LIVE for LOL
Yes. Fable would totally have kids who all adore Legend, and he is the best uncle ever. Utterly spoils them rotten, always tells them crazy (actually true) stories, but in an age appropriate fashion since he doesn't want to upset them. Irregardless of how many she has, the kids have all gone through a phase where they just follow him around endlessly and hang off of him like he's some sort of furniture. Fable of course makes sure they understand that sometimes Uncle Link has days where he's in pain and can't play as much,a nd they all turn into worried little ducklings on those days, but most of the time he's all game for whatever they've got going on. After everything he's been through, and losing the love of his own life, his nieces/nephews are his reason to keep going and smile every day. (If Fable knew having kids was all it took to see him happy again she would have done it sooner honestly)
And yes. Legend is younger, so he does do annoying things sometimes. They're both rather mature for their ages, but he IS a Link, so yes, he breaks into her room, takes her stuff, and tracks mud all over the castle. If they get too fed up with each other, they will spar and they're both scary good at it, but Zelda actually tolerates a lot of Legend's chaos, and he's pretty quick to know when he's stepping far enough to make her actually angry, which they like to avoid. her anger is scary and rabbits tend to be timid, no matter how good an act they put up.
Time totally messed with them all. He'd have told stories about gals all the time and name dropped so many people just to watch the boys scramble to determine if that was the fabled spouse or if it was someone else. That's how the bets started actually!
Legend is totally a theatre kid! Yes yes yes. And Warriors is totally that annoying friend/relative/sibling that makes a point to support him in the most annoying ways he can think of. Kind of a soccer mom about it, ngl
(If you like the idea of Legend acting though, I'd suggest you check out my Opera House AU, it's pretty good if I do say so myself, although it's mostly just brainstorming right now)

hello there! may i request junpei iori, akihiko sanada and shinjiro aragaki crushing on a reader who's already in a relationship?
i haven't played p3 yet but i'm reall curious about it, so i'd love to see what those three are like :D
hope you're doing well & i wish you a lovely day/night!
Crushing on a Reader That's Already in a Relationship
Fandom: Persona 3
Character(s): Akihiko Sanada, Junpei Iori, Shinjiro Aragaki
Type of Request: Headcanons
Note(s): Ooh I'll do my best to not include spoilers then, but you got it!
Tumblr media
Akihiko
He is so dumb when it comes to his own emotions. The whole time he's thought that he viewed you as a sibling to protect and take care of. And then he learns you're dating someone. He thinks that it's just protective older brother instincts that make him not a fan of whoever you're dating.
But then he realizes that his heart aches when you talk about your partner to him. He realizes how he seems to get irrationally annoyed or sad when he hears how lovestruck you are. Akihiko thinks that there's something wrong with him for a moment before he realizes his feelings.
Honestly upset with himself for acting this way. You don't deserve it, your partner definitely doesn't deserve it. It's his own damn fault for not realizing and doing something sooner. So he'll keep acting like he's okay and be your friend. This is a crush so he really hopes he gets over it before his heart breaks.
Junpei
Punching the air so hard because you're taken. Of course you're dating someone else. That's just his luck.
Junpei can't help grumbling and pouting. He even ends up snapping at some of his friends a bit because he's in a bad mood. Never at you though.
Junpei still attempts to just act like your friend even if he gets a bit pouty at times. He does eventually ask you about your partner. Wants to hear what about them is so special and all that. No, he's not jealous! What? That'd be crazy... ha... ha...
Shinjiro
When Shinjiro first realized he had a crush, he pushed it way in the back. He didn't think he deserved that kind of happiness. Not that you'd ever like him back anyway.
And then he learned you have a partner. Shinjiro feels bittersweet about it. He's glad that you're happy, but he can't help the ache in his heart even though he did this to himself.
He distances himself from you. He doesn't mean to, but running away from his problems really is what he's good at. Even if you try talking to him, try learning what's wrong, he'll just tell you that "he's fine and you're imagining things". Like hell he's going to tell you his feelings when you're happy without him. He doesn't want to ruin your happiness even at the cost of his own.

I finished Battle City
So for my redemption arc, I have finished both Duelist Kingdom and Battle City.
I think I may have gotten worse.
I'll start by talking about voice acting and which one I prefer:
Bakurae: I like both Ted Lewis and Rica Matsumoto's performances. They both did amazing and I am so bi for their voices.
Marik: His goofy ass skeletor voice is not it. It's funny as hell, but he just sounds better in the sub.
Odion: I like both
Ishizu: I like both
Everyone else: could go either way
Characters:
Yugi didn't really do a lot at the start, and everything I want to say about him happens in his duel with Joey. Honestly, I don't like how in the anime he doesn't play much of a role.
Yami Yugi: this man... This man.
Téa: I love her. Honestly. She gave like zero friendship speeches this season and didn't really do much except help Yami find Ishizu.
Joey: I LOVE JOEY WHEELER.
Tristan: he's there. I don't like how he treats Serenity.
Serenity: I actually really like her. She's not the most realistic sister character, but I still like her.
Duke: my guy, leave the girl alone.
Marik: I can't take him seriously. I just can't. He sounds like Skeletor, his plans are stupid, he can barely duel, he's a coward, he dresses ugly, mother fucker uses Revival Jam, this happened
Tumblr media
How am I supposed to take him seriously?! Also, his backstory didn't do anything for me. Like, yeah what he went through was awful, but it just feels like an excuse. It felt like Ishizu and Odion were trying to justify Marik's behavior and say he did nothing wrong and should be forgiven. (Also, I saw a post about how Joey should have showed Marik sympathy. They blocked me when I said that was stupid)
Ishizu: she's such a great character. Her love for her siblings feels real, she's a snarky dork, her duel with Kaiba is fantastic, and she's pretty.
Odion: Am I supposed to feel bad for him? Not because he was horrifically abused I do feel bad about that, but with the way he was treating Marik... My guy was an enabler. Of course Marik is still evil under your care, you haven't done anything to help him be good. He just rolls over and lets Marik do what he wants because he doesn't want to betray his oath or something.
Mai: literally so cool. I'll actually get to talking about her in a bit.
Kaiba: iconic.
Mokuba: he takes his duel commissioner job so seriously it's adorable. He just pops up out of nowhere to catch people cheating and then Kaiba comes along to scare the cheater when they don't listen to Mokuba.
Regular Bakura: B-baby boy???
Tumblr media
Yami Bakura: I'd literally bend over for him. He can have all of my possessions. Anyway I feel like he went through some character assassination this season. He just doesn't seem like a threat, but I guess that's how abusers get ya because he stabs Regular Bakura.
Arkana: I've said it once and I'll say it again, I am a sap. I felt so bad for this guy. First his magic show goes wrong, then his face gets mangled, then his wife leaves him, then he gets indoctrinated into Marik's cult, then he almost dies by saw blade, then he actually dies.
Lumis and Umbra: these two are gay and dating.
Strings: there is nothing there.
Mako and Weevil are pretty much the same.
Espa Roba: he's a cheater.
Duels:
Bandit Keith vs Yugi Moto (Duel 1)
The first duel of the season introduces us to Marik. We learn that he wants the puzzle and has a magic rod that can mind control people.
This duel shows off that Yugi is not yet as good a duelist as Yami because this loser gets fucking cooked.
Yami Bakura shows up and breaks Keith free. This makes Marik a little annoyed.
Marik makes Keith break the puzzle.
Bakura comes in and helps Yugi fix it, but he puts a little piece of his soul in the puzzle because of reasons that are never explained.
Bakura leaves and Keith burns the building down.
Joey and Tristan save Keith and Yugi.
Yami Yugi vs Jonny Steps (Duel 2)
I am not talking about the duel you suckers. I'm talking about what happened before the duel!
Yami and Téa go on a date. During this date they go on wacky high jinks and Yami gets Light Force Sword.
After dueling Jonny Steps, they go to the museum and meet Ishizu. She tells them that Yami is actually an ancient Egyptian pharaoh and he needs to save the world by joining Kaiba's tournament and winning it. Also he needs three Egyptian God Cards.
Joey vs That one guy (duel 3)
Joey gets Exodiad and feels so bad that he doesn't go and visit his sister in the hospital.
He also lost his Red Eyes Black Dragon.
Tristan finds him on the beach and shows Yugi and Téa who he found (fuck you 4kids)
Kaiba vs the machine (duel 4)
OBELISK, FIST OF FATE!!!!!
Yami vs the one guy(duel 5)
Yami beats Exodia and wins back Joey's Red Eyes.
Joey declined it.
Joey vs Espa Roba (duel 6)
In this duel Joey faces an alleged psychic who had already defeated Rex Raptor.
Rex tries to help Joey for a little bit, but stops like half way through the duel.
During this duel, Espa is talking about the universe and how he can't lose and shit like that and Joey's just clowning on him.
Espa Roba has his brothers up on a building helping him win duels.
Joey figures this out.
Joey wins the duel.
Some guy in the audience says "Espa couldn't predict he'd be a loser", and I think that's funny.
Joey got a Jinzo!! The only good card he'll get this whole tournament.
Yami vs Arkana (duel 7)
Yami faces a magician who's all like "Aren't you SO sad that your precious Dark Magician is in the deck of another duelist???!"
Some bullshit happens, Dark Magician is sentient and saves Yami, Dark Magician Girl is summoned by Dark Magic Curtain, there's shadow blades, guillotine-chan is here, apparently there's no service in the tent.
Yami wins.
Arkana dies or something it was really unclear.
Joey vs Weevil Underwood (duel 8)
Joey got his deck and Duel Disk stolen by some mustache and had a card put In it.
Joey and Weevil duel ata fountain.
During this duel Weevil calls out to the Parasite Paracide card in Joey's deck and turns all of Joey's monsters into insect cards.
Weevil brings out Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth. Joey destroys it.
Weevil brings out his Insect Queen and talks about how much he wants to fuck it. Joey destroys the Insect Queen and wins it.
Joey gained the worst card of the season.
Yami and Kaiba vs some guys (duel 10)
Kaiba uses Lord of D and two Flute of Summoning Dragon to summon three dragons and then he summons Obelisk and then he wins the duel and takes some locator cards.
Joey Wheeler vs Mako (duel 11) ft. Marik falling for the Bakura sham.
Joey and Mako duel.
Joey is putting on the world's greatest show, and is told to stop because it's "embarrassing and taking to long"
Joey tries to use Parasite Paracide, but flip monsters haven't been invented yet.
MEANWHILE
Marik almost runs over Bakura.
BACK TO THE DUEL
Mako is telling a son story about his dad and how Legendary Fisherman is his dad and he loves his dad so he has to win the duel for his dad because he loves him ever so much.
MEANWHILE
Yami Bakura is talking mad shit and Marik's all like "This idiot has NO idea that to open the door to darkness he needs the Egyptian God Cards."
What if my guy was talking 'bout Kingdom Hearts?
BACK TO THE DUEL
Mako used a ritual card 🤮
Now Joey has to find the fisherman and attack.
Joey finds the fisherman and attacks. Mako gets sad. Loser deserved it tho for using rituals.
Joey uses some gambling cards and oh no
MEANWHILE
Bakura puts his scam into action and says he's a strong duelist (He's aight.)
Marik doesn't even fact check this and makes a deal with him.
The rod for a god card.
BACK TO THE DUEL
Joey uses Panther Warrior to wipe out the ritual card 🤮, and wins the duel.
Joey has gained Legendary Fisherman! Not as bad as the last card, but Joey you have a shitty deck how do you keep winning???
Seto and Yami vs Lumis and Umbra (duel 12)
THERE'S ANOTHER FUCKING RITUAL CARD!!!! AND IT'S NOT EVEN A GOOD ONE!
It's awful, it sucks, it's worthless, they should have just used level cards
This duel is not worth my time.
Yami and Seto win.
We interrupt this essay to talk about important stuff that happened out of duels:
Bakura got stabbed
Mokuba, Téa, and Joey got kidnapped
Tristan ran for an hour with a teenage girl on his back
Duke hit some guy with dice
Mai met Serenity
Joey got mind controlled
Téa girl mind controlled
Joey vs Yugi/Yami (duel 13)
I cried during this duel
Joey got mind controlled by Marik and is evil and dueling Yugi for the puzzle and they're also strapped to this anchor that's gonna drag them to the bottom of the ocean in an hour and oh my God this duel
Tumblr media
Téa's life is also being threatened but she's a badass who doesn't care.
Kaiba can't help because then Téa will die.
Joey was given all these rare cards and is using them against Yugi.
Yugi is so scared to attack because he doesn't wanna hurt Joey.
Yugi is so fucking sweet I love him so much.
Yami is just in the corner like "you good Yugi?" And "Oh no!!! Joey!!" I love them so much
Yugi ends up giving the puzzle to Joey so he can fight Marik better, he summons R d eyes black dragon to get through to him, this shit is just barely working I HATE THIS DUEL
Tumblr media
Marik is being a whiny little bitch ass loser because his mind control is failing
Joey breaks free after attacking Yugi then he uses the effect of some mirror card to attack himsefl
Joey and Yugi both plummet to the ocean, Yugi is saved by Joey and Joey is saved by serenity.
I LOVE JOEY WHEELER
Meanwhile at the hospital
Tumblr media
Yami Bakura vs Bonz (duel 14)
This episode is so fucking good. The animation, the duel, BONZ IS HERE
This duel starts off with Yami Bakura already being kinda annoyed. He just got jumped so it makes sense.
He summons a headless knight and it gets destroyed.
He destroys Bonz's cards.
Bonz fuses Medusa and crawling dragon to get... An elephant?
Then Bonz activates that one card that makes you lose life points for every card sent to the graveyard. Yami Bakura responded by fucking cheating and just tossing his hand to the graveyard.
Then he summons Earl of Demise and Bonz puts him in a cage.
Then Yami Bakura uses ectoplasmer and wipes out Bonz's life points and sends him to hell the Shadow Realm.
Tumblr media
Mai vs Jean Clawed Magnum (duel 19)
I am not talking about this duel other than
Joey x Mai supremacy
We love polarshipping
Stuff that happens before the finals
The gang is shocked at the idea of Regular Bakura dueling (rude)
Tristan can't flirt
The gang raid Joey's pantry
A bingo machine
Yami Bakura pretends to be Regular Bakura and messes with Joey by saying shit like "Cheerio" and "fellows"
Marik does stuff
Odion gets threatened a few times
Ishizu shows up late
Mai drinks censored wine
Yami Bakura vs Yami (duel 15)
This shit is so hype
It starts off with Yami Bakura being dog shit and summoning weak cards (it's for a plan), and Yami and the gang just ragging on him and insulting him.
Then Bakura summons Dark Necrofear, but he doesn't attack because he's scared that Yami's face down card is a trap (reasonable)
Dark Necrofear gets destroyed by a buffed Dark Magician Girl, but this was all part of the an because now Yami Bakura can use not only his Destiny Board (worst win strat ever), but he can also use Dark Sanctuary.
At this point in the duel, Yami Bakura is cooking. He is dominating.
He got out his Dark door, Yami can't attack more than once. He got his spirit redirecting attacks at Yami. He's cooking something delicious.
Then Yami special summons Dark Necrofear and now Yami Bakura can't use his strategy.
Unless he summons Jougen the Spiritualist!
Now the sanctuary is back and he can keep up with his shitty win strat.
Then Yami summons Slifer and he contemplates death.
Marik makes Odion walk over and go "I release Bakura from the spirit" and Bakura starts dying and at this point my shipping senses start going nuts.
This duel has become a love triangle between Regular Bakura, Yami Bakura, And Yami Yugi.
But that's not important.
Bakura doesn't like this strategy because it's for cowards and he's worried Yami will attack his host. (Reasonable. The Yami he knows probably would've)
Yami meanwhile doesn't wanna attack Regular Bakura because that's his friend.
No one has told this boy to just surrender.
Yami Bakura takes control of Regular Bakura again and tells Yami to attack him
Then Yugi tells Yami that he did that because he needs Bakura, not because he liked him. (This is untrue if I believe hard enough)
Regular Bakura is knocked out and the ring is gone.
Joey vs Odion (duel 16)
Joey is talking shit.
Odion keeps setting and passing
And oh what's this?? FLASHBACK
Odion was abandoned on the door step of Marik's and Ishizu's parents. He was raised by them but never truly accepted.
He wanted the tomb keeper initiation to become accepted, but he was adopted. So that didn't happen.
DUEL
Joey's losing
FLASHBACKS
Odion was Marik's best friend and watched their mother die immediately after Marik was born.
He vowed to protect Marik.
DUEL
Odion has trap monsters and Joey is surprised by this.
A massive scorpion monster thing is summoned and Joey says
"Are you really Marik?"
Then Marik has a temper tantrum and tells Odion to summon Ra. Odion summons Ra and fucking dies.
Then Joey dies.
FLASHBACK
Odion watched as Marik got his tomb keeper initiation and afterwards he did his own initiation.
DUEL
Odion tries to get up, but he doesn't.
MEANWHILE IN JOEY DREAMLAND
Joey is having a dream about his friends helping him get ready for a tournament and he can't get up.
DUEL
Joey gets up and wins the duel.
Marik is having a migraine and then becomes Yami Marik.
Mai vs Marik (duel whatever I don't wanna check)
Marik got a fashion upgrade and looks better!!
During this duel Kaiba is edging himself waiting for Ra to be summoned.
Marik makes the duel a shadow duel and starts to erase Mai's mind.
Mai loses one memory and almost gives up immediately.
Marik continues his mind games while Joey and the gang try to help Mai out.
Mai is having non of this.
Mai steals Ra
Marik is cooking
Mai summons Ra, but Marik broke a rule because Ra is written in a foreign language without a translation.
Mai loses because she can't summon Ra and Marik attacked her, Joey, and Yami.
Final duel, Kaiba vs Ishizu
Ishizu should have won
Kaiba and Ishizu keep milling each other's deck.
Ishizu has a plan though. She saw it in her visions
Kaiba defys those visions tho and instead of summoning Obelisk, he summons the Blue Eyes White Dragon and wipes out Ishizu.
I forgot to talk about the Yami vs Strings duel
Marik is a pussy so he uses some murderer to duel
During this duel Marik is using cards like Revival Jam and Jam Breeding Machine.
He uses them to summon Slifer.
Yami is trapped in a cage.
Yami uses Revival Jam against Marik and uses it to cause Marik to lose by DECK OUT.
DECK OUT
That's embarrassing.
So yeah, I think this journey of redemption is becoming a journey of derailment instead. Wish me luck and health.

Always Been His
A/N: This is part two of this fic and it was requested by @allisonargent144.
------------------------------------------------------
Everyone was sitting around Derek's loft for pack night, a new tradition to build up everyone's connection and trust with the others of the pack. Originally, Chris and I weren't going to be a part of it but Allison started dating Scott and joined the pack so Chris and I decided to join too. The pack is mostly teenagers who got the bite for different reasons, except for Scott, Allison, and Stiles. Maybe, Lydia, but she hasn't officially joined the pack yet, but I have a feeling she will soon enough.
Scott was forced to take the bite, Allison joined for love, and Stiles, sweet baby Stiles did it out of loyalty. Out of everyone in the pack, other than Allison, Stiles has to be my favorite. I'm sarcastic by nature and Chris isn't so it's fun to be able to banter with someone. I feel like I've adopted him and Scott as my sons since they're at my house more than they are their own.
Scott and Allison are always, 'studying,' or watching movies and Stiles is dragged along because Scott doesn't have a car to drive. After realizing Stiles literally sat at our dining room table and did schoolwork or research while his two best friends did fun stuff I took pity on the boy and kept him company, that's how I figured out he's the brains of the pack.
I'm also trying to set him up with Lydia, his long term crush, and it's become my mission to get them together so Stiles is no longer the third wheel and actually has some happiness. He's also surprisingly good with children. After I gave birth to Aria, he was a huge help, he won't change diapers but that's about the only thing he won't do. Even Chris likes him and Scott, he just won't admit it.
In my opinion Scott and Allison are absolutely adorable. He adores her and treats her like a princess and Allison loves him more than most people would think possible at her age. In some ways they remind me of Chris and I when we were in high school.
The first time Chris met Scott as Allison's boyfriend it was a bit rocky and Scott looked like he was going to shit himself at any given moment, I have to hand it to him though, I was impressed at how well he handled it.
Chris pulled every page out of every book he's got and was impressed but also annoyed that Scott handled it all so well. Do you want a drink? Oh no sir, I don't drink. You want a smoke? No thank you, I never want to smoke, the smell makes me sick. Do you want to have sex with my daughter? Uh, I feel like that's a trick question, sir. I say yes, I'm dead, I say no and you'll think I don't want her or something. I'll just say that at the moment no, in the future, probably.
I almost jumped across the table to give him a hug but I was too busy gloating to Chris about how I was right and the boy really was a sweetheart. After Scott left and Allison had went to bed I asked Chris what he thought, he answered by saying, and I quote, "She could do worse." In Chris talk that means, 'I like him, he's a good kid'.
Similar to Stiles, Scott isn't afraid to help with Aria, in fact he adores her. I think him and Stiles both secretly wanted a younger sibling and when Aria was born they adopted her as their sister. I can't complain because between the armory in our garage, Scott's fangs and claws, and Stiles' bat, Aria is one safe little girl.
I hum and rock Aria to sleep as I watch the kids play a game of Monopoly, a little worried a fight's about to break loose because Isaac is convinced Stiles is cheating and Stiles keeps responding with, "Dude! If I was cheating I'd be in charge of the money because I could skim off of it without anyone noticing." Or, my personal favorite, "Oh my god, stop acting like a little bitch because you can't manage your money. There's a reason I have cool flannels and a jeep and you have ugly ass scarves and a bike. Suck it up and pay up, you're on Boardwalk and I own that shit, gimme."
I snort at the last one as Chris bites back a laugh and leans over, "I see why you like him, he's sassy. Do you want anything to drink?"
I nod, "Yeah, a water please." He nods and heads towards the kitchen as I smirk when I notice the small, yet noticeable look Lydia throws Stiles when the latter rips the money out of Isaac's hand with a, "Thank you! Now, go back to Baltic Avenue. Bastard. I swear those scarves stop your brain from functioning sometimes."
I look up in confusion when the door to the loft open's but before I can turn around a voice I wished I'd never hear again speaks, "Nephew, I didn't know you were having friend's over."
Derek roles his eyes from his spot on the couch, "Makes sense since you weren't invited."
I bite back a noise of amusement hoping he doesn't notice me but my luck sucks and he's standing in front of me before Chris can get back to me, "Well, hello Darling, it's good to see you."
I roll my eyes as Chris comes to stand by me, "Wish I could say the same."
He rolls his eyes before sneering at Chris and looking back at me, "I see you still associate with the enemy."
I scowl and tuck Aria closer to my chest feeling the need to protect her, "He's only the enemy because he got what you wanted, and I have to say, I am so glad I never wasted a second on you."
He growls and Chris steps a little closer and I notice Derek stand from the corner of my eye. I glance at Aria when she makes a discontented noise and I glare at Peter, "I swear, if you wake her up..." I leave the threat hang in the air which makes Peter growl louder, and that one does wake Aria, and boy does she wake up with a start.
I get off the couch as Aria starts screaming throwing one last glare at Peter before walking away so I have enough space to walk around. However, once again I'm cut off by Peter materializing out of fucking nowhere. I groan as Aria keeps crying, "Peter, leave me and my family alone. I have two kids, four if you count the two stragglers Allison brought home, and I'd really like for them to remain safe, and to be honest, I'm terrified you'll hurt one of them to get to me. So, please leave."
Aria seems to start crying louder and I can faintly hear Peter ranting and raving but I'm to busy trying to soothe my baby to pay attention but I do hear the word divorce, which makes me roll my eyes. I finally zone in when Derek roars at him, "Get out, Peter! You aren't welcome here when they're here. You have an unhealthy obsession with her and it has to stop! She's married, with kids!"
Chris comes to stand in front of me as Peter's eyes glow blue before he growls at Derek, "I can make them all disappear, and I'll do it too if it means I get her!"
I squeeze Aria even tighter to me as Chris pushes me back slightly but it's all for nothing when Derek swings and knocks Peter out with one punch. He stands above his mentally deranged uncle as his eyes remain red, "You guys should go. I don't know what I'm going to do with him but I don't want to take the chance that he'll wake up when you guys are still here."
I nod before grabbing Chris's hand, "Come on Chris. Let's get the kid's home. At that Allison jumps up followed by Scott and Stiles. I glance at them before sighing, "Boys, you should probably go home."
Stiles scoffs, "Hell no Mrs. A. He just threatened you and Aria, besides Scott will be able to sense him if he's close to the house."
I glance at Chris and he nods and I smile, "Okay, you two can come stay over but Scott, you don't go into Allison's room unless Stiles is with you or the door is open."
They all nod in agreement before following us out the door.
----------------------------------------------------------
It's well past midnight when Derek texts that Peter won't be an issue anymore and I'm not interested in what that means but I trust Derek enough to believe we've seen the last of Peter. I slowly get off the couch and tiptoe over the bodies on the floor that accumulated throughout the evening.
As I grab a glass of water I feel arms circle my waist as I look at the mass of teenagers sprawled across the living room floor. I lean into the solid chest behind me as I whisper, "I feel like we've adopted six extra kids, and I can't really be mad about it. They're all good kids, they all just have a few flaws, but hey, so do we."
Chris chuckles as he places a kiss on the top of my head, "Yeah, they're good kids. I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel safer with all of them around." I nod in agreement before excitedly whispering, "Did you see Stiles and Lydia?"
He shakes his head and buries his head in my neck, "You're ridiculous."
I roll my eyes continuing to smile, "But Chris, they're cuddling!"
