I just need a soundboard for my thoughts. I've been going through the motions of working 3 different jobs, which go:
1. Main job, M-F nights, 20-25 hours a week
2. Evening job, cleaning a mom and pop store, usually Wednesdays and Sundays, about 4 hours a week.
3. A retail job that is 90% of the time during the weekdays, and was the seasonal job until they wanted to keep me. So, I work it as sporadically during the year, but the most, like 30 hours a week before Christmas(October to December).
My husband suggested I scale back, and consider dropping a job. I am tired a lot of the time, and at the same time, like all the jobs pretty equally. I guess part of it is feeling scared of stopping a job voluntarily, because I usually have some huge reason to, and my life is a disaster. And I feel guilty not working a ton, but at the same time, I'm exhausted and hitting my mid 30s makes me want more free time.
We would have to make some financial adjustments, but at the same time, we've been through a lot, and being broke is nothing new 🤣 I just don't know how to feel about quitting a job(which I'm leaning towards the mom and pop one to drop). I guess I always felt compelled to work like crazy.
I'm just sitting here, mulling over things, and trying to decide what is the right thing to do. I'm not upset or anything. Just thinking.

80's AU Kimi and Majima's meeting is so funny to me. It was a dumb idea I was half asleep when I came up with and can't let go.
So. She's his downstairs neighbor. She came to Japan for. Reasons idk there are a few to pick from but things aren't going fantastically. She's managing though.
At this point, she and Maji have seen each other in passing, know the other exists, but like, haven't ever really interacted.
Anyway, I noticed there is a laundry set up outside Maji's apartment and that is where they properly meet.
So anyway, Majima is doing laundry, and cursing up a storm cause he's got blood all over a shirt, which he can't get out, and so he'll have to buy another one and spending money is not something he's exactly a fan of right now.
Kimi heard him, and she was feeling nosy and half asleep, figures out the issue and pops up there a few seconds later, hip checks him out of the way.
He's spluttering as she dumps a bunch of shit he doesn't have time to ID on the stain, scrubs, and BAM, gone. Clean shirt.
He stares at it, then her, and he's just like "ok but how???"
And she just sorta vaguely gestures in the vicinity of her hips and is like "I've been dealing with blood since I was twelve, I know how to handle stains"
And now he's embarassed and she will be when she's actually capable of human thought again, but for now she just offers to sew on some replacement buttons and then finally crawls into bed.
He does take her up on it, and they become cordial from there.
It's only like 2 weeks before she's feeding him regularly.

Could you recommend me some good fanfics focused on Tim Drake?
It's just that I can't find some that I haven't already read, but that's probably because I don't know how to look.
If they are in ao3 it is better, but I am open to other platforms

My solution for bloatware is this: by law you should hire in every programming team someone who is Like, A Guy who has a crappy laptop with 4GB and an integrated graphics card, no scratch that, 2 GB of RAM, and a rural internet connection. And every time someone in your team proposes to add shit like NPCs with visible pores or ray tracing or all the bloatware that Windows, Adobe, etc. are doing now, they have to come back and try your project in the Guy's laptop and answer to him. He is allowed to insult you and humilliate you if it doesn't work in his laptop, and you should by law apologize and optimize it for him. If you try to put any kind of DRM or permanent internet connection, he is legally allowed to shoot you.
With about 5 or 10 years of that, we will fix the world.
