God my language classes annoy me so much. Both are such busy work yknow? I finished all my German assignments when they were due so that's fine, but it got so low effort by the end cause ik he doesn't really read them. But with Russian, I have a lot of unfinished work and I'm kinda tentatively doing it even tho the semester is over 😭😭 she's so lax and disorganized, so I have no idea what her grading will be like. It's like, will she just give me an obligatory 100(as was practice the prev classes) or like should I do these as assurance yknow 😭

A creature, appearing as a man but clearly inhuman, hunched over the animal. Red blood stained the lambs white wool as the monter fed on it's dead body.

You were frozen in fear, your body unresponsive. Run, you thought, run and never look back. But you couldn't.

You tried to step backwards, but stumbled and fell onto the leafy forest floor with a crunch.

The creature looked up from the lamb, standing to its full height. It was tall and thin, its blonde hair dirty and matted. Blood, whether its prey's or its own, stained its clothes; a set of light blue scrubs, like those of a nurse.

It stumbled forward, its torn cloak trailing behind it. The creature walked off-balance, as if it wasn't supposed to walk upright, but instead on all fours like a wolf.

As this monster approached you, you tried to push yourself up, but found yourself too weak to move. This is the end, you thought, You are going to die. The creature knelt next to you, close enough to hear its ragged breaths. It tilted its head.

So… I officially have the Ride the Cyclone brainrot. I’ve relistened to the soundtrack several times while at my mom’s and stopped listing to my normal music on the road to relisten to it again. I’ve had Mischa Bachinski on the brain for the past 24 hours and have listened to Talia for, like, an hour on repeat. I’m absolutely going to have to watch a slime tutorial when I get home because just listening to the track ( + looking at posts in the tag) is blue balling me.

On a completely unrelated note I think I have a crush on my coworker. He’s a Russian guy with shitty adoptive parents that I’m pretty sure is just a wet ball of dough (/aff) underneath his “punch all your problems in the face” attitude. But this is completely unrelated so I don’t know why I’m even bringing it up. This musical has absolutely not made me come to any realizations whatsoever.

Strange how Jason and Connie are in a similar place to me. Well... not that much :) but.

They are both watching videos of the horrible crimes but they can't get anywhere. Partly it's not their expertise, especially Connie who was never an investigstor or agent, just married one. But she wants to help. Just, no relevant clues appear. Partly because Yavesh is expert and is very careful not to reveal anything that would reveal them. They don't show their faces. Nothing especially identifying. So it is hard.

Also it's hard for both of them to watch. For Jason it triggers PTSD symptoms. For Connie it's just extremely disturbing. (Which it would be for any but the most hardened)

For me, I can't even bring myself to watch the most awful videos, just any where people are captured keeps me up at night with images of the victims. Not even ones where people are hurt. And I don't know what I'm doing. OSINT is an actual thing... but I cant figure it out. Too muh info, idk what to do... I have motivation but not to get beyond feeling sick immediately at these things....
