She definitely tried to gross out Odysseus in a dumb "You think you can handle me, idiot? >:) " way. (She's stubborn and in denial at first. When she realizes she actually likes him, she's a mess.) And while eating raw fish is normal for naiad-born in Sparta, when she learned Odysseus wasn't used to naiads in daily life, she just really went wild with it.

He's just staring at her kind of expressionless and she thinks "Ha, see? You don't really like me."

But he's just like

"You like carp? Cuz if you do, we got plenty on Ithaca! Many more fish too! And if we don't, I'll get you some!"

And she's annoyed because her plan didn't work. Girlie is self-sabotaging even though she thinks he's neat.

my friends made mcd ocs so i did too because i wanted them all to hold hands and hang out. this is faye my snow leopard meif'wa hanging out and fishing close to scaleswind. she loves the water. ive written a bunch about her if more are curious but it's too much to detail here

One of my moms has a CAT that likes to rough house with me, which I readily obliged to in the beginning, but now she's starting to set traps using bait to get me down to biteable level and it's honestly impressive and very scary to me.

thank you, i'm feeling a lot better today already with how kind everyone's been to me 🤗

i just needed a day to cope for my little betta, it's been almost two years since i adopted her and it just feels far too soon.

i don't think i ever showed her off, i don't have many good pictures of her (bettas never stay still i swear!) but here's the best pic i have of my good girl. she was the most chill fish, not even caring when guppies bounced off of her hehe

her favorite spot... the little printed betta cave at the top of the tank 😊

I remember you said farm clexa tell their kids that Santa isn't real since they can't afford to give them lots of presents. However, would they still hang stockings over their fireplace? I think 7 stockings with all their names would be very cute

The adorable little stockings are on the fireplace for sure 🥰 Lexa and Clarke already had theirs, they made them at this workshop in town and they've had it since they got married. And with that workshop in mind, Lexa and Clarke always have a little bonding time together making the stockings for their next little bundle of joy everytime Lexa's expecting. The names are hand stitched by Lexa and they always make sure they are the exact same size and they really love putting all the little knickknacks in the kids' stockings.

Because yeah, they don't have the money to buy more than one main present for each kid - a new toy that's just theirs, a painting set, or a plushie. In their stockings, they can put small things that just make the kids happy. Some chocolates, small handmade plushies, fuzzy socks, hair clips and colorful pens, and just small things that make the kids feel like they have more without Lexa and Clarke having to spend a lot of money. Honestly, they just love going to the market or around the thrift shop, and finding these small things they know the kids are gonna love or even just making small things for them. And they also help the kids with finding stuff for their moms' stockings. Clarke's favorite chocolates, Lexa's favorite candles, a vintage necklace for Lexa, an adorable floral headscarf for Clarke. Drawings and letters written in shaky hand writing. The nice tea from the tea shop Lexa loves, the slightly too expensive coffee Clarke always stares at longingly at the market.

Even Fish has his own little little stocking filed with treats and dog toys ☺️

TRIAL OF THE MERDRAGON!!!

Fun fact : she admired martial artists when she was a young merfish so much that her dad taught her martial arts with her because she was so hyper fixated on kung fu and many martial arts but since she does not have legs

she went to makoto for training purposes and she Master the power of self-defense by impressing makoto with her self-taught martial arts skills that that she learn from her father and after seeing all of this from one dragon fish

makoto said "well damn...I have never seen anyone be so passionate about self-defense before...great job satonaka-san. "and then she smiled and chie was proud of herself for showing people her kung fu

she however is cold blooded and this will be important later

she was worried about yukiko because she was sick with the flu so she was in her home but after the death of saiki and the fog getting closer to freshwater inaba she worried about something in her mind that plagued her.....

( what if the fog gets to yukiko's house and just straight up kills her when she is still sick ! I cannot let this happen to her! )

So she went to yukiko's house and knocked on her door "yukiko! Open up! I need to tell you something!" As soon she yelled at the door the door opened and it was yukiko wrapped up in a waterproof blanket "oh chie! It's nice to see you! where have you been?" yukiko said in a happy tone

"I was looking for you of course duh!" chie said normally

And so chie went inside yukiko's house and told her about the fog and how it's worrying her friends with saving the freshwatersea or whatever and she was listening to the whole thing "that's terrible!" yukiko said with a scared look on her face "yeah I know right it's messed up!" "but how do we stop it from killing? aren't you like cold-blooded survived more things that will injured somebody?" yukiko said questioning chie

Chie facepalms and said in a serious tone "alright listen, once you get better I want you to join the investigation team"

"why?" yukiko asked again questioning her friend

"we need more helping hands to find the culprit who made the fog in the first place and you seem a great candidate for being a pyrotechnician... If you know what I mean? so would you take the chance?"

"......I'll take it..."

"really!?"

"...hmmm...once I get better I'll show you and your friends what I can do!"

"thank you yukiko...." chie smiled joyfully and hugs yukiko and she sneezes "bless you" said chie

New baby!! 🥰 A good ending to a rough week. I've had covid all week after a trip last weekend, but her previous owner was willing to hold her even longer for me.

Haven't named her yet, her old name is Nora. She's got a definite pudge, which may be partly bc she's a double tail. But she also spent the first 10 minutes in her new tank testing every floating bit in case it was food. 😂 We're gonna hold off on food for the weekend and see how she looks, just to make sure she's not also bloated. But she doesn't look at all stressed and is swimming all over the place! So I'm pretty sure it's all just fat, lol.

I'm super excited to have a betta fish again & to do things well this time. I've learned and done better each time I've had one, but still not ideal. Here's hoping I can keep her plants alive for her!

" is there ... something about them that you don't like in particular ? maybe i could change your mind ? " really, if she had a tail, it'd be swaying slightly all hopeful. " but you're willing to try some games ? i could show you a few you might like, miss kokomi. it might take a bit to get used to the control on the phone, but i'm sure you'll manage ! "

yk for a second i was like "i miss my family in london i wanna go back :[" because i havent visited them in YEARS but then i remembered. the Food Situation. whenever i am in london there are two options. one is to try random places near my aunts flat and pray to god they have people who aren't white cooking there. two is to sit at home and have my african grandmother try to forcefeed me at least 6 meat pies a day because "i'm not eating enough to keep a bird alive". so. suddenly i dont miss london anymore. i do miss my family though

There's a creature here.

It's bigger than any terrestrial land animal, and certainly one that does NOT fit in any city setting, but here she was. Dipping her head into the sea. In her aimless wandering, she'd thought she saw something flitter around here, and figured maybe it was a larger fish of some sort...

This was... concerning. Stoplight wasn't a stranger to other predators; the sea was full of them but he knew them all, most of them anyway. Gigantic eight-arms, the great singers who hunted them, enormous glowing stingers who attracted their food in the same way Trench did; Stoplight understood them, how to avoid getting eaten himself and how to fight back when cornered. This... this thing was something else and the sheer size of it made him stop and think, really think as to whether what he was about to do was even worth it. Keeping his bioluminscence low, Stoplight drifted a little closer for a better look. He could only really make out the head plunged into the water, the huge blunted snout likely filled with fangs as brutal as his Queen's had once been. Was it also dangerous? Could be if it was hunting in the water, and he'd make for a hearty mouthful... Stoplight growled. This was his territory, and these were his waters! This landwalker beast had plenty of the surface to roam and do as it pleased, larger size be damned! Was it a poor decision to attack a creature you had never experienced before and had no idea what it could do? Yes. Was he going to lunge forwards and nip it on the end of its impudent snout? Also yes.

Valentine's day isn't really a thing in OoS. But I think there'd be a day where Hana would make chocolates and just give them to people around town. Only Hana.

Hana can cook and bake actually. Though she's kinda bad at cooking... and okay at baking. So she prefers baking. But womp womp... doesn't like sweets. The result is a lot of bread and a lot of "extra" sweets. It's not like she enjoys doing it so she can give her guild things... or anything. Especially not because the first time she made bread in front of Alope, Alope got so excited watching her that it gave her motivation to randomly give her loaves of it to eat with their breakfast.
