I think the funniest encounter yesterday was hearing the most muffled "CLAIRE!" that took me a second to even register, and I turn around and it was a Hunk cosplayer who was expressing his disappointment that I didn't hear him, but once he noticed I turned around we both just excitedly pointed to each other lmao

Pairing: RE6!Leon Kennedy x Prime Minister's Daughter! Reader (ft. Ada Wong)
Genre: Smut, Romance, Angst
Warning: cheating, Leon is obsessed with the reader, stalking, taking photos, the reader is cold but deep inside she’s a sweetheart, mentions of arranged marriage, pure smut (mentions of masturbation, foreplay, kissing, breasts fondling and sucking, markings,  p in v intercourse, virgin sex, penetrative sex, Leon is huge [I think it's at least 9 inches, sheesh], creampie, aftercare)
Word count: 5.2k
Summary: As the eldest daughter of the Prime Minister and one of the faces of the family, you received multiple assassination attempts. So, your father hired someone to keep an eye on you. And to your surprise, out of all people, it was Leon Kennedy your father picked for you. You and Leon had a secret relationship but soon did not last because another woman came into his life. Now that the both of you meet again, will it be the start of chaos or a continuation of romance?
author's note: This story is entirely fictional. I do not know what the President and the Prime Minister exactly do for the country. Same with the occupation of being a prosecutor and the chief of the CIA. English is not my mother tongue so pardon if you encounter mistakes and grammatical errors. This is only for entertainment purposes only. And minors, please do your homework first.
It all started when you had an assassination attempt for the fifth time. Being the only daughter of the Prime Minister isn’t easy. The more your father becomes powerful, the more assassination attempts you receive because if the opponent can't attack the Prime Minister, their target will be his family and pick the most treasured and precious gem of his life, his daughter.
"The President will help to capture those bastards who tried to kill you." Your father spoke, looking at you, who was fixing the files from the CIA.
"Papa, this is the fifth time you told me that. All the men you hired to guard me ended up being fired."
"Because they failed to protect you," The Prime Minister replied in a strict fatherly tone. "This time, it was the President who recommended this agent to keep an eye on you."
"I hope he wouldn't think that I am being a spoiled brat and a baby when he found out that I am a prosecutor." You chuckled, shaking your head a little.
"Yes, you are a prosecutor. Not just a simple prosecutor. You are one of the most powerful prosecutors in the Supreme Court. You have access to every government agency as the Chief of the CIA. So, it’s quite understandable that those people who tried to eliminate you were not just because of me but because you are one of the most influential people in politics.”
You sighed and gave him a small smile. Your father has been stressed out with international political stuff plus your assassination attempt. And speaking of the President, both of them are best friends and they climbed the political ladder together. The President is personally closer to the Prime Minister than the Vice President. That’s why when you survived your fifth assassination attempt, it was the President who was one of the first people that paid a visit to check on you.
“Alright, I’ll accept whoever the President has to recommend to guard me. But Papa, I don’t want to be guarded all the time. You know what I mean. I need some private time.” Your father nodded in agreement.
“I understand. I’ll call the President.” With that, he walked out of your office and was escorted by his bodyguards as he walked down the hallway of my office.
“I heard our dads having a conversation about your assassination attempt. Are you sure you’re okay?” Your friend, Ashley asked in a concerned tone on the other line of the call.
“Yeah, I am fine. The assassin must have poor eyesight.” You laughed but Ashley only sighed.
“You’re still joking around as if you weren’t stunned when you barely dodge the bullet. By the way, my dad recommended the man who saved me from Spain. You haven’t heard about him, have you? Because you have three cases to finish.” Ashley chuckled.
“The two are successful, only the rape case left. But believe me, I was so worried about you. And don’t tell me his name. I love surprises.” You grinned.
“Oh, no. Here we go again with that behavior of yours. I think you know this person. Because when I mentioned you once in our conversation, he was surprised to hear that you are the Chief of the CIA and a prosecutor.”
“Do we know each other?” I asked, confused. Ashley hummed and chuckled.
“You’ll meet him tomorrow, according to the conversation between the Prime Minister and the President.”
With that, you started critically thinking about the person. According to your father, he’s a federal agent and was exclusively picked to save Ashley from an insane cult in Spain. But why did this person seem to know you?
“This is Leon Scott Kennedy. Your bodyguard starting today.” Your father, the Prime Minister introduced the federal agent who saved your friend from Spain and the one the President recommended.
And for the very first time, you hated surprises. This is the worst surprise you’ve ever had. Leon looks different from before. How long has it been since the Raccoon City outbreak? Fifteen years? Leon looked at you, scanning you from head to toe. You are wearing a black tight turtleneck knee-length dress, black high heels, and simple makeup but the matte red lipstick made you look bold. Your chest and curves perfectly fit the dress you are wearing. His gaze went back to you and swiftly rolled your eyes.
“Bodyguard?” You repeated, hiding your irritation because out of all people to become your bodyguard, why this fucking bastard? Why your ex?
            Your father nodded his head.
“If he saved the President’s daughter alone from a deadly cult in Spain, then he can save you from assassination attempts.”
“Papa, that guy can’t predict if there’s someone who will try to eliminate me.” You retorted and your father gave you a disapproving look.
“We agreed on this already, Y/n. And this is an exclusive decree from the President. You are one of the secret weapons of the country so for him, it is also his responsibility to take care of you.” Your father reminded you.
“I know my job, Papa! You don’t have to remind me of that! Right now, I can’t help but feel embarrassed of myself that the Chief of the CIA needed to be guarded as if I can’t protect myself.”
“Y/n L/n!” Your father yelled, shutting you up. “For Christ’s sake, Y/n! Just for once! I am trying to protect you but you wouldn’t listen! And for the first time, you despised the man we selected to keep an eye on you. I mean, what’s wrong if this guy keeps an eye on you?”
His question made you pause. Your father must never know the reason why the hell you hated Leon so much. Even thinking about it makes your heart break. So, you looked down and replied against your will to not make this worse.
“Alright. End of discussion.”
Your father scoffed at your sudden change of mood and aura. He had never seen you glare and roll your eyes at the agents he picked to protect you. You are warm to the four guards who used to protect you. It was he who fired them when an assassination attempt occurred and those men failed to protect you. But now, he sees nothing but the fire of rage in your eyes when he introduces Leon to you as your bodyguard.
“Y/n, what the hell is wrong with you?” He asked.
“I accepted him already, Papa! Don’t ask me such questions again. Just fire him the moment someone fired a gun on me while he was nowhere to be found. Just like what you did to my former bodyguards.” You replied, turning your back on him so that he couldn’t see the tears forming in your eyes.
And then, the Prime Minister’s phone rang. He accepted the call and there was silence in the room so that he could have a proper conversation with the caller. After a few seconds, he hung up and looked at you.
“I need to go. They need me to discuss something in the White House.” He announced and you gave him a nod without sparing him a glance.
When your father left, you turned around and faced Leon who was looking at you the whole time, realizing that you are not the young girl he left for another woman back then. It’s true, he thought. You are no longer naive, eyes full of anger with the mess he made fifteen years ago.
“You changed, Y/n. After fifteen years…” Leon started which made you smirk.
“Unlike that woman who’s still manipulative. Bet you didn’t last.” You straight-forwardly rebutted and headed over to your desk. You sit on your executive leather chair and cross your legs as you rest your back against the backrest.
“Tell me, what’s your motive?” You asked sharply.
“It was the President who recommended me to the Prime Minister.” He replied but you shook your head in disapproval.
“You can decline but you didn’t. There must be a reason why you accepted the offer. The government needs you to save the country from bioweapons but here you are, standing in front of me as my bodyguard.”
“Well, I am protecting the country’s secret weapon so I think it’s considered. Besides, the President and I agreed that I will still work as a federal agent of DSO while guarding the Prime Minister’s daughter.”
Well, he has a point. You hummed in satisfaction with his answer and opened a file and checked the documents regarding the case you are currently in. There was a silence between you and Leon couldn’t help but feel your anger behind your calm expressions. No matter how much you tried to not make this personal, the pain he gave you makes it difficult for you to calm your nerves.
But Leon decided to give it a try…
“Ada and I were not in a relationship… or even on good terms.” He stated, causing you to grin.
“Not interested. Besides, you are nothing to me.”
You can feel that your words affected him but you don’t care. And there’s an awkward silence again until you receive a call from the Chief Prosecutor. At least it saved you from the uncomfortable feeling of being with your ex. You stood up and kept your documents in the proper places and grabbed your handbag.
You walked to the door but Leon moved faster to open the door for you. You ignored his presence and walked out of your office to the ground floor. Leon tailed behind you until you came out of the law firm’s building and your driver pulled up the car in front of you. Before Leon can move, you open the door for yourself and get inside the car.
Leon paused for a moment and shook his head and was about to get inside the front seat but you rolled your windows down and said…
“I do not allow my bodyguard to come to join me in my car so go join my other guards in the other car.” Leon scoffed and retorted back. “According to the Prime Minister, I shall join you in every vehicle you are going to ride.”
“Are you working for the Prime Minister or me?” You sarcastically asked.
He didn't want to make further arguments so he sighed and just obliged. You rolled your windows up and your driver drove away to your destination.
It was now nighttime. You and Ashley decided to hang out in a fancy bar in the city. You are staying in the VIP Room while your bodyguards are staying outside of the room, securing the area.  You two are regular customers of the bar and the owner doesn’t mind if you two brought a bunch of bodyguards for safety purposes.
So here you are, sipping a glass of whiskey with your legs crossed and back against the backrest of the leather couch as you stare into nowhere in the room. It has been two weeks since your father hired Leon as your bodyguard. Having him around you during those days felt like being chained up again to your past.
“Hey, you’ve been staring at nowhere. Are you even listening to me?” Ashley’s voice snapped you back to your senses. You hummed and took the last drop of the whiskey before putting the glass down and pouring yourself another shot.
“You rarely drink whiskey, Y/n. What’s wrong?” She asked and you didn’t reply to her. Instead, you pulled a cigarette and put them between your lips, and lit them up before huffing out a smoke.
“Knew it. Something’s wrong. Was this because of your new bodyguard?” She asked and you hummed, huffing out another smoke.
“Tell me, Ash. Do you think my life right now would be different if I asked you his goddamned name before we met?” You asked.
“Why do you ask?” She asked too while you breathed out another smoke and sipped on your glass of whiskey.
“Because I could’ve stopped Dad from hiring him! That bastard has been getting on my nerves for the last two weeks.” You hissed.
Like your father, Ashley asked the same question. “What’s wrong if my dad recommended him and your father hired him to be your bodyguard? Y/n, Leon is one of the top agents in the country. He saved many lives and protected the country from bioweapons. And this is the first time you despised your bodyguard. You weren’t this cold to your former bodyguards until Leon came.”
There was another pause as you finished your cigarette and put it on the ashtray and drank your whiskey. Ashley continued, “Was I right? Do you two know each other?” She asked and you hummed again as the response. Even responding to her is difficult, especially when you're talking about the man who ruined you.
“We used to, Ash. We used to.” You replied, chuckling to yourself as you tried to stop your tears from falling. Ashley has been your best friend even before his father became the elected President of the United States of America but you don’t want her to see your vulnerable side.
“Used to? Like, he’s a part of your past?” She asked and you nodded your head.
“Worst part of my life, rather.” You sipped again, gulping the strong liquor down to your throat.
“You know, it would be nice if you would share your backstory with me. Even just the highlights, I’m sure I can understand it.”
“Ash, he’s my ex-boyfriend.” You frankly said. Ashley gasped upon hearing this from you.
She never thought that the man who saved her in Spain was your ex-lover. This is a shocking revelation for her. Ashley recalled the moments she mentioned you during her conversation with him back in 2005. Leon’s reaction was still clear in her memory when she told him that you are a prosecutor and one of the most powerful ones in the Supreme Court. He was completely surprised but then he was grinning moments later.
“No wonder why he was surprised when I mentioned your name back in 2005. How long has it been since you two broke up?”
“Since 1998. It was during the Raccoon City outbreak. After we parted ways, I never heard from him again and just focused on my studies.” You lit up another cigarette, putting the stick between your fingers and lips.
“Why did you two break up?” Ashley asked.
You paused for a moment. A lump formed in your throat and a tear slipped out of your eye. Your only way is to gulp down the whiskey in your glass. Ashley doesn’t want to force you to spill out the truth. Her point is to ease the pain in your heart. Seeing you struggling to speak is enough for her to understand that you and Leon did not have a good end.
“He’s a traitor,” You managed to speak out, taking deep breaths as you struggled to breathe.
Ashley had to go because her mother, The First Lady called because of curfew. She doesn't want to leave you in tears but you ushered her to leave, saying that you will be fine and enjoy the time by yourself. Ashley gave you an apologetic look before grabbing her purse, kissing your cheek, and leaving the VIP Room.
And there you are, having deep thoughts. You huffed out another smoke and groaned. You are not a menacing teenager who will do everything to get rid of Leon. That’s too immature. Ever since you graduated in Law and become a prosecutor, you promised yourself that you are no longer that young girl who’s sweet and naive. You need to be tough no matter how hard the situation is. No matter how much pressure a case gives you, you will do everything to win the trial.
Same as being the Chief of the CIA. Your hacking skills, high potential on battlefields, gunfight skills, and being a deadly agent made you reach your current position. None of the missions you had were easy. Most of them cost the lives of agents that failed to complete the mission. Only you are the last man standing. At the end of the missions, you’d always look around and see the pools of blood scattered around whether it is from your enemy or comrades. Dead bodies lay down on the bloodied ground. And now, the President takes you as the country’s secret weapon against the threat from other countries who will dare to attack.
Those events happened within fifteen years. You didn’t get enough rest. Your mind is so occupied with your job that even when Ashley was kidnapped back in 2005, you did not let your emotion take over you and continued pursuing your goals and fulfilling your responsibilities as a prosecutor and the Chief of the CIA. Leon never popped into your mind ever since. Now that he’s here again as your bodyguard, you couldn’t help but recall what pain he gave you in Raccoon City fifteen years ago.
Fifteen years ago in Raccoon City, things go wrong as you, Leon, and Ada encounter another group of survivors and now they are chasing you down to kill you. Ada, the most experienced one in fighting got shot in the leg causing her to fall to the ground. You and Leon are shooting them with your guns but he saw Ada get shot.
“Ada!” He yelled and shot those people who are after her before running to her to check on her. But there’s a guy who appeared out of nowhere and pointed his gun at Leon.
“Leon, duck!” You yelled and covered Leon with your body. A gunshot echoed around the road and you hissed in pain as the bullet hit you on your arm.
You growled and reloaded your gun as fast as you could and shot the guy right in the head. You took care of the rest of the people while Leon is busy treating Ada’s injury with a small medical kit he has. After a few seconds of silence, you lowered your gun and held your injured arm to stop the bleeding. You turned around and found Leon carrying Ada in his arms.
In your view, Ada was telling Leon that she’s fine and can’t walk, even including a phrase that it was just a bite of an ant. But Leon insisted on carrying her. It makes you feel jealous. Like, you are his girlfriend while Ada is just a random FBI Agent who appeared out of nowhere and saved Leon from infected dogs. Then, why is he treating her as if you are not around? Does he even realize that he was hurting you? Does he realize that a man who’s in a relationship shouldn’t act like that around his girlfriend?
So, to not ruin Leon’s time with her and to avoid making an issue between you in the middle of a zombie outbreak, you uncovered your arm, letting it bleed. You’re wearing a black hoodie so the blood isn’t noticeable. Claire will be here soon so you can treat your wound later. You wouldn’t die if you bleed and wait for Claire, would you? With a heavy sigh, you walked away, taking the lead while Leon followed you with Ada in his arms.
Soon, you found Claire with Sherry in a safe room. She was treating Leon’s wounds too while Ada was resting in the bed. While you are looking outside through the window. It was your only way to ease the pain and jealousy you felt. That shot could have killed Leon if you didn’t cover him. That could’ve cost your life too. This isn’t the first time you felt jealous. This is the tenth time you felt this way and you hate it. You noticed how Ada acts around Leon and she usually dismisses you. If she did, it was against her will.
You are in deep thought when you hear Sherry gasp…
“Y/n, you’re bleeding! Why are you not saying anything?!” With that, you gained everyone’s attention. Claire immediately approached you and found your arms bleeding.
“How could you not say anything! You’ll die if we don't treat this immediately!” Claire scolded you, rolling up your sleeves, and gasped when he found your injury bleeding more. She grabbed all the things she needed and started treating your wound.
You gritted your teeth as Claire took the bullet out of your arm and wrapped it with a bandage. Leon approached you too and attempted to hold your hand but you declined and said, “I can manage.” And there Leon realized that something was wrong.
Until one day… you find out Ada’s secret. Upon finding out about this, anger quickly rushed down through your veins and quickly grabbed your gun and pointed it to Ada and fired multiple times but none of the bullets hit her as it was your way to catch her attention.
“Tell us the truth, Ada Wong,” You growled venomously. “Tell us who the hell are you…”
“Y/n!” Leon quickly stood between you and Ada, facing you. “Put the gun down! What the hell is wrong with you?!” He shrieked.
“That bitch is fooling around us! She told us that she was an FBI Agent when I didn’t see her record on the FBI’s server! Stay away from that traitor, Leon!” You hissed, firmly pointing your gun at Ada.
Ada did not reply but there is no hint of worry or regret in her eyes. Instead, she glared at you. She stepped in front of you, never breaking eye contact with you. She then smirked and put on a smug look on her face.
“Traitor? Seriously? If you are just a student, you wouldn’t know how to access the FBI’s server. From the very start, I’ve been helping you and Leon. I’ve saved your life a lot of time and now this is how you are going to repay me?!” Ada hissed at you.
“For an eighteen-year-old student, it’s not easy to hack the FBI. What about you, Y/n? Who the hell are you?” She turned the tables around. She takes steps closer to you as if she was challenging you.
“Don’t change the topic, Ada. You’re working under Albert Wesker, right? One of the researchers and the reasons why the hell we are here in this damn situation? Too bad, Ada. You did not pass as the best actress.”
Then, Ada attacked you at such speed. Of course, you dodged her attacks and are more trained than her regardless of your age and state in the government. You may be just a student, practicing Law but no one must look down on you or even doubt your commitment especially when you are doing this for your team’s safety. The combat between you and Ada ended when you pulled the trigger and hit her on the waist. Ada grunted and you took the opportunity to take her down.
“Y/n, enough!” Leon pulled Ada away with such care which breaks your heart more. Claire was holding Sherry who was sobbing in her embrace.
“Leon, are you defending her?” You asked, feeling betrayed. Leon put Ada to the side for a moment before pulling you away to a more private room.
“What the hell did you just do?! You know that Ada is our key point to survive this damn apocalypse!” Leon hissed at you and of course, you retorted back.
“From the very start, I did not trust that woman even a bit! It feels like she planned to cross paths with us to gain our trust and take the samples because she is working for Albert Wesker!”
“Aside from accusing her, shooting her, how did you access the FBI’s server? We have only limited devices! We even barely called for help and now we found out that you accessed the FBI just to do some stupid research on her!”
“Stupid research? I did it for our safety!” You rebutted. “Leon… I don’t understand. Why are you being so protective of her? Why are you defending her? Leon, I am your girlfriend.”
Leon sighed. “You are. But these days, it feels like we’re not together. It feels like you are different from the girl I love. I… I don’t know you anymore.” Your heart shatters as Leon said those. Tears filled your eyes, your heart pounded against your chest, and a lump formed in your throat.
You couldn’t believe that Leon was saying this to you when you just want to protect him, to protect everyone. A tear slipped out your eye and you pulled yourself away. “Are you doubting me, Leon? Do you believe that the fake agent is your girlfriend?” Then Leon snapped at you,
“Don’t call her that!”
“Then what?!” You yelled at him. “You think I don’t notice your behavior ever since she came into our lives? That you are becoming more affectionate to her than me? That you will prioritize her over me? That night when those groups of survivors chased us and tried to kill us, I saw how worried you were for her that you insisted on carrying her when she just had a shot in her leg because of her stupidity, rather than me catching the bullet for you!”
Leon was taken aback by your sudden outburst.
“If there’s someone I truly don’t know anymore, that is you, Leon. Even thinking if I should approach you for help is difficult for me because your attention was on Ada. Tell me the truth, Leon. Is there someone else? Is there someone else who captured your heart away from me?”
He didn’t reply to your question. Seeing you in this kind of situation hurts him. But he couldn’t lie to you. His silence is enough for you. With a deep breath, you turned away from him.
“I can leave, if that’s what you want. I know you very much, Leon. As a rookie police officer, you wouldn’t ride the same boat with the person you are doubting. But mark my words, Leon…” You paused but Leon interrupted you.
“You’re not leaving.” You turned to look at him and he was looking directly into your eyes. “We will survive this apocalypse together, I promise. Please, stay with us. For me….”
For his sake, you stayed. To not lose him, you swallowed your pride for him. Until one night… when you almost escape the damned city, things went wrong again. He broke his promise.
You woke up from being knocked out and there you found yourself cuffed in a chair. You looked out to the glass window and found Leon heading to the helicopter with Ada. And the sound of zombies banging outside of the room you are in made you panic even more. So, you forcefully pulled your hands off the handcuffs. You kept pulling yourself and your wrists started to bleed. Tears fall from your eyes, struggling to be free. “Leon!” You yelled and winced in pain until you successfully freed yourself. You banged against the glass to gain his attention.
He did. He looked at you who was crying, scared of death. The banging of zombies against the door gets louder and you look at Leon with pleading eyes as blood stains the clear glass that was coming from your wrists.
“Leon, don’t leave me here! Help me!” You screamed but Leon only looked at you with saddened eyes.
He had no choice but to leave you. Even if it hurts him to see you crying like a puppy, injured and terrified, there’s no other way but to leave with Ada. The woman in red noticed that Leon was looking in your direction. So, she held his hand and gave him an assuring smile.
“Leon, I know that this is hard but you need to strengthen yourself…”
What breaks your heart more is that he smiled at her before proceeding to walk to the helicopter.  After connecting the dots, you realize they use you as the bait while they take the opportunity to escape. With that, anger rushed throughout your veins upon realizing that Leon just betrayed you. He betrayed you for Ada. Your hands clenched into fists while your wrists keep bleeding.
Leon gave you a last look and he saw nothing but pain and anger in your eyes as if you were cursing him for betraying you. There’s no point in turning back now. Call him selfish but he made up his mind…
And so he rides the helicopter with Ada, leaving you, scared and alone. Soon, the zombies break into the room where you are in. You ain’t going to cry and let those zombies eat you alive. On that night, you vowed to yourself that no matter what it takes, you will get your revenge on them. You used all the weapons you can use just to survive even if you’re alone.
Remembering how you struggled to survive made your eyes teary. You don’t want to be as weak as the person you used to be. That night when Leon betrayed you, another persona came into you. It made you more powerful. Having Leon back makes you feel like meeting your past self. A naive, sweet, and caring young girl who was now looking at a sophisticated, high-class, elite, and exclusive prosecutor and a superior of the country’s most powerful agency, the CIA.
You put your glass down and the cigarette on the ashtray before removing your black leather gloves and looking at the scars on your wrists that were carved on your skin. You still can feel the pain those cuffs gave you. When you survived and escaped that damned city, you started wearing gloves, not wanting to see your scars.
Anger rushed down through your veins. You grabbed the glass and threw it away with a growl, creating shattering sounds. There, you broke into tears. You rest your head against the backrest while you drape your arm over your eyes as you weep.
“I will make your life a living hell, Leon Kennedy.” You muttered under your breath before passing out.
Leon, who was patiently waiting for you outside the VIP Room heard a shattering sound inside. And there he found you, sitting on the couch with your head resting against the backrest with an arm draped over your eyes. He sighed in relief that you were fine.
“Is that how you throw tantrums?” He asked. You didn’t reply, not even moving from your position. Leon sighed again, realizing that you passed out.
The man approached you to pick you up but something caught his attention. Your scars. He moved closer to you and stared at your scars. It was carved around your wrists. Your skin was torn, he can tell that the cuffs he gave you back then have made you ruin your skin, desperate to escape.
Leon still remembers how you looked at him with a fire of rage in your eyes as your tears fell uncontrollably. When he looked at you during his introduction as your bodyguard, the flame was even worse behind your calm expression. The mystery of Prosecutor L/n's gloves is now finally solved.
         Suddenly…
"Traitor…" Leon snapped back to his senses and looked at you. You are looking at him with hooded eyes. You stood up and grabbed your bag and gloves before walking to the door, without regretting telling him that. Because that's what he is.
To be continued...

Avoiding You- L.S. Kennedy (pt. 2)
Tumblr media
It was well into the night when you decided to depart from the base. You had been trying your hardest to get Leon out of your head. Why was he so interested in your lead? Was he upset at the move you pulled?
It didn’t matter, at least you got the satisfaction of seeing his face when you mentioned Ada and how you saw the two of them. It wasn’t entirely the reaction you were expecting though. There wasn’t a trace of anger or embarrassment, but more of shock and shame.
It didn’t make sense in your head at all. Leon was probably the most loyal, down to earth agent you had ever met; it seemed so out of character for him to fall for someone like her. But then again, maybe you didn’t really know him. You definitely didn’t know him the way you thought you did.
You had been walking through the back streets of the city for a good half hour now, making sure you weren’t being trailed. It was close to pitch black out now, the dusk quickly turning into night, and you finally began scoping out your lead.
It looked like an old, abandoned warehouse. Perfect setting for a bioweapon. Almost too perfect actually. It felt off to you; the hairs on your arm standing on end. You didn’t like this feeling; you knew something was wrong and you went on high alert trying to figure out why.
Before you could react, someone was behind you. They made quick work of disarming you & pinning you to them. A hand covering your mouth and an arm around your waist, you slammed back into something solid.
“Relax Y/N, it’s me.” The hold on your body becoming looser.
You forcefully yanked your body away from Leon, a flood of emotions coursing through your veins. Fury, embarrassment, confusion, excitement; it was all so much.
“What the hell are you doing?!” You quietly shouted at the man.
“Look, I would have explained this all to you earlier but you stormed off at base and-”
“And what?” You interrupted, earning an exasperated and tired look from Leon.
“And you really shouldn’t be here alone.”
“And why is that?”
“You know why” Leon’s tone turning serious “I don’t know where you got this lead but it’s right, the bioweapons” he paused to glance at the factory “are right in there. What were you trying to prove by going alone?”
You hated that he could see right through you.
Before you could think of something to say another shadow emerged from the street’s edge. It took every ounce of restraint you had to bite your tongue and hold back the anger you felt just looking at this woman.
“I told you tonight wasn’t a good night Leon.” Ada purred as she got closer to the two of you.
“We were just leaving.” Leon responded, grabbing your arm before starting to walk away.
Ada put a hand on his chest, halting his movement.
“And who’s this?” She asked gesturing to you.
You opened your mouth to respond but Leon beat you to it.
“Nobody.” His voice dripping venom as he spoke. You rarely heard Leon this clipped, angry.
He pushed the two of you past Ada and began walking towards base. Keeping to the street’s edge to avoid unwanted attention, his grip on your arm never wavering.
——————————————————————————
“Mind telling me what the hell this is all about?” Leon asked the second you arrived back at base.
“I could ask you the same thing.” You replied, ice in your tone. This whole situation was so confusing. Was he making things hard on purpose? He was the one who rejected you, not the other way around.
“What Ada?” Just hearing her name leave his lips killed you a little. “She knows more about those bioweapons than we do at this point, she’s been giving me intel on the situation there.”
You scoffed at that.
“Seriously Kennedy? I saw the two of y-”
“Leon.”
His interruption left you speechless.
“What?”
“You keep calling me Kennedy, it’s Leon incase you’ve forgotten.”
If looks could kill you’d both be dead on the spot. Your stares penetrating each other, neither one backing down.
“Okay Leon,” the memory of the last time you said his name haunting you “why not share your intel hm?”
“You think I trust Ada?” Leon scoffed, his voice slighter raising in volume. “I learned a long time ago never to do that. There’s a reason they only ever have me contact her, I’m the only one she won’t immediately betray.”
“I wonder why that is.” You mumbled under your breath, your emotions getting the better of you.
“There isn’t a price I wouldn’t pay to keep those I care about safe Y/N, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy paying it. I figured you of all people would know that.”
You had no response. Starting to feel guilty for saying what you did. Leon would do anything, give anything, to keep you all safe. You knew that for a fact. Your heartache made you forget so much, made you forget everything you had ever known about Leon just to try and ease the pain.
It had been over thirty seconds and you were still speechless.
Leon let out a laugh, “Okay, well”, he turned on his heel, leaving you frozen standing alone in the dark.
You came to your senses and ran to catch up with him, going past him to stand in front of him, blocking his path. To your surprise, he spoke first.
“You know if you really saw us you would have known that much, following a lady’s lead isn’t my style.”
You thought back to when you saw them, Leon against the tree with Ada pressed against his chest, her clearly taking the lead.
“So why then?” You could hear the slight tremor in your voice but chose to ignore it. Avoiding Leon wasn’t going to work anymore, something had to give.
“I already told you-”
“No not about Ada, why did you reject me?” You bit your tongue, trying to swallow it the way you wished the earth would swallow you.
“Reject you?” He asked, voice laced with confusion.
“I tried to kiss you Leon, don’t tell me you don’t remember. I made a mistake clearly, but if you didn’t want me like that you could have just said so.” You broke eye contact with the man to stare at the ground. Had you become a masochist? This conversation was leading you to believe you had.
“I didn’t reject you.” He lifted your chin, locking eyes with you once again.
Had you heard him correctly? You stared deeply into his eyes looking for any trace of insincerity but found nothing.
“You didn’t reject me? Leon you pulled away from me, the message behind that is pretty clear.”
“You don’t get it.” He sighed, leaning his forehead against yours.
You missed him. God you missed him so much. You just wanted to reverse time, forget you ever tried to kiss him. You missed his banter, his scent, his voice, having him by your side for every mission.
“You’re right,” you whispered “I don’t.” Leaning against his forehead gave you some sense of relief. At least he couldn’t see how shiny your eyes had gotten, glistening with unshed tears.
“I didn’t kiss you for multiple reasons, not a single one of them being that I didn’t want to.”
You tore your head away from his to look into his eyes.
“What?” You spoke, trying to piece it all together.
“Did you not realize where we were when you tried to kiss me? How many people were around?”
“So?”
“So? So I didn’t want people to think that I was using you. That that’s the reason I specifically requested you for each mission I went on.”
“Specifically requested me?”
“You didn’t think that was random did you? That we just happened to get paired for every mission.”
“You requested me?” You spoke like a broken record, he requested you? Specifically?? Every time?! You heart was beginning to beat faster, feeling better with each word he spoke.
“Every time, without fail. I pride myself on a lot of things Y/N, but my self control isn’t one of them.”
You smiled a little, thinking about past memories proving his statement to be true.
“I wasn’t worried about my reputation, there’s no rule against dating other agents in the DSO, but I was thinking about yours. You hear the shit everyone mumbles when Ada’s mentioned, I didn’t want that happening to you. That I would have minded.”
“I was right then?” You asked barely above a whisper, “to kiss you I mean, I didn’t misread you?”
“No you didn’t misread me, in fact I’d been waiting for you to figure it out. But after you tried to kiss me and I stopped it, you went radio silent. Every time I tried to find you or talk to you, you weren’t there. And when you were, you wanted nothing to do with me.”
You thought back to the debriefing, when you saw his steps hesitate, turns out you hadn’t imagined it. Leon broke you from your thoughts.
“I thought maybe you had regret it.”
His eyes were the ones to break contact first, glancing down at his boots before looking back to you.
“I did regret it, but for a completely different reason I assure you.” He smiled slightly at your comment, you continued on “But when we saw Ada just now?”
“I barely trust her with my own life, you think I’d trust her with yours? Better she have no idea who you are.”
Everything was starting to make sense now. You started to feel so stupid thinking of all your wasted emotions and pain. The stupidity you felt was quickly replaced however by pure joy. You were right, Leon did feel something for you.
“I can’t believe I spent all this time away from you and it was for nothing.” You grumbled.
“Well not for nothing”, Leon smirked, staring down at you, “I heard you’re one hell of a shot with a 12 gauge now.”
You laughed, a genuine laugh, and Leon’s smirk grew bigger.
“Let them say what they want about my reputation Leon, I have a feeling they won’t dare.” You smirked back at him.
“In that case…” Leon grabbed your chin and leaned down, his lips connecting with yours. It was so soft, so gentle; his lips meshing with yours so perfectly.
You both disconnected, a comfortable silence hanging between the two of you.
“For a man who doesn’t pride himself on his self control, that kiss was pretty impressive.” You teased Leon.
“You know, teasing me isn’t going to help that so called self control of mine.” He teased back.
“I’m counting on it, Kennedy.” Using his last name on purpose, only fueling the fire.
Leon moved faster than you, throwing you over his shoulder and giving you a slight smack on your rear, earning a squeal from you.
“Where are we going?” You laughed, trying to lift yourself off his shoulder.
He jumped slightly, making you fall back down onto his shoulder.
“Someplace more private”, he responded “I intend on hearing my first name fall from your lips tonight, over and over actually, until I can be sure you won’t forget it again.”
You stopped trying to lift yourself up and surrendered into his hold, after all you had a long night ahead of you….

Another you
Warning: reader mutation (c-virus), angst, blood, slight aggression, acquired albinism, fem/reader (not an agent, an ordinary civilian who worked at the museum), Leon has plot armor, more narration than dialogue, the text contains an antagonist like Simmons (male character), Ada is helping Leon again, relatively happy ending.
Synopsis: You didn’t want to change, you loved him, just as he loved you, but against your will, your love turned into hatred and animal anger towards him. However, Leon still hopes that you will remember him...
A/N: This is probably my biggest work. Tumblr told me to fuck off a few times while editing, but I came out victorious in the fight, although I had to re-write the text into the draft a few times because Tumblr for some damn reason published it without my knowledge. I hope feedback if anyone liked it, because I have been burning with this idea for a long time!
The text also contains an excerpt from Byron's poems (I adore him)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He promised himself first of all that nothing would happen to you. That his work won't affect you in any way and you won't get hit by the corporate bastards, and you really didn't. However, something else happened...
But people whom Leon loves or simply cares about tend to leave or even die.
Everything was fine with you. Ideal in his imperfect life and you were this perfection that he valued and protected. A prudent person would not keep an expensive diamond in front of everyone, so Leon did not scatter information about you and who you are to him. You were loved and dear to him more than all the treasures of the world, he appreciated your tenderness towards him and kindness, because it was you who helped him get out of the hole of despondency in which he buried himself. His personal little guardian angel. Still, he has something to continue his fight against bioterrorism.
A normal working day, except that the museum where you work was supposed to host an exhibition of some very expensive collection for which you were so carefully preparing, forgetting about yourself. It seemed to Leon that you were burning with enthusiasm and love for the work you were doing, which made you walk around too excited, forgetting about food, so he had to remind you to eat. This exhibition had no meaning for Kennedy, but he did not belittle your efforts thrown into this preparation, especially since you were so happy that you were incessantly talking about all these paintings, historical activities depicted on them and objects: a pendant with a strand of hair of some queen - you explained to him that this is a symbol of affection that was previously used It's like you're giving a piece of yourself to your giver, a kind of connection with a loved one, but this is just one of the meanings of such a peculiar gift. Silk fans, a clock, a desk, some items of clothing that, in Leon's opinion, were very strange and he was just glad that fashion had moved far ahead.
Although he could interpret all this in one word: beautifully.
And you were beautiful too. He would have liked to spend more time with you, but you were completely absorbed in your work, and he was overwhelmed with paperwork that he couldn't stand, but anyway, at least he could come back to you and listen to excited speeches and new facts that he didn't know anything about and would hardly remember if he told him about it someone else.
And everything went to hell when there was another outbreak, less global, but most importantly - human lives. And yours.
He was trying to save you, even if someone else had survived this exhibition, he would still have saved you first and not someone else. Mini Raccoon City, that's what he called it, making his way with you to the emergency exit while you kept up with him on your heels, because today you were supposed to shine and glow and not cry with fear looking at the pale corpses of history and art lovers. The light from Leon's flashlight illuminated a small part of the space while you walked quietly thinking about Leon's words, "I wonder how much time we have before they get up?"
"Were they poisoned?" you assumed, because how could you kill such a huge number of people without weapons. Leon, watching the ventilation grilles in the rooms, suggested in his head only one quick way.
"It must be gas,"
But then you would both have died too, you decided, but you did not voice your thought, because shortly before the tragedy you were invited to discuss something by the sponsor of this exhibition. A man who managed to collect so many magnificent things with a rich history. The man who gave you flowers and flirted with you from the day you first met, despite the fact that you made it clear to him that you were not interested in any relationship with him, except for work.
However, Leon also remained silent when he saw the luxurious bouquet of scarlet roses on your work table, which filled your entire small office with their aroma. But right now that simply wasn’t the main thing. He needed to get you out of the mess that happened, and then ask about flowers from rich strangers.
You walked slowly, trying not to make any noise or cry behind him while you clung to his jacket, partially managing to wonder why Leon's gun was with him when he had no reason to carry a gun. All this, of course, was secondary, given how stress, coupled with imagination, turned the exhibits into various frightening figures that frightened, made you scream, thinking that the fallen armor, which was probably simply poorly secured to the stand was another dead man. I didn’t even want to think about what happened in the exhibition hall, much less imagine. Leon had to take you by the hand and at times drag you along with him because the panic really aggravated everything, he was afraid that you would start to go hysterical, but it seems that despite the periodic stupor, you kept yourself well under control, exactly until the moment when Leon’s flashlight went out, leaving you in pitch darkness.
“Leon?” you called out anxiously, feeling noisy ragged breathing behind your back. Was this what Leon was talking about? Until recently, you hoped that his words were just another stupid joke and the dead do not rise, but here behind you is the living embodiment of a nightmare who is ready to grab your neck and feast on warm flesh. Have time to scream? You didn’t even have time to fully scream when a strong grip grabbed you by the shoulder and roughly threw you to the side from the line of danger because you fell, hitting your thigh on the marble tiles, after which a series of deafening shots and the muffled groan of a dead man was heard, three bullets or maybe be more? You didn't count.
As if in slow motion on a large screen, it was impossible to take your eyes off what you saw. All sounds died down, leaving the silence of your own mind and the smell of blood.
All you could do was watch how the beam of light from the flashlight shines directly on the corpse and how Leon’s hands are trying to bring you to your senses, because you knew the one whom he had just completely killed. Richard, your colleague with whom you had coffee this morning and discussed the latest news, sometimes often joked at lunch... was now dead and you were crying without knowing it. Tears just flow uncontrollably from your eyes even as Leon wipes your face with his thumbs, trying to lift you off the floor and make you go outside.
“Come on, sweetheart, I know it’s hard but we have to go"
"I... I can't... why here?" You ask more into the void than from him
“I don’t know, but we need to get out of here.” Leon grabs you under the armpits, helping you get to your feet, dragging you towards the exit.
Better yet, this would all just be a nightmare. The noise from the shots makes you cover your ears with your hands while Leon once shoots people, at the same time trying to protect the slow-moving you. They scream, moan, attack and you feel like you are in a horror film with high-quality special effects and good acting, but you realize, albeit reluctantly, that all this is not a joke but an evil reality where Leon almost at the very exit asks you to pull yourself together and you don’t even you can stand on your feet. Before your eyes, everything collapsed and the world went crazy, trying to grab you with it.
"I can't... can't... I'm so scared..." your hands grab Leon and he hugs you to him, which only makes you want to cry harder and ask him to do the impossible - to return everything to the way it was. He hugs you tightly, kissing you on the top of your head, giving at least some reassurance given the fact that he has always tried to protect the little that he loves from his work, but you accidentally found yourself in the epicenter and your reaction is quite expected.
"Everything will be fine, please look at me," he asks in a soft tone, lifting your head and forcing you to look into his eyes, "It will be difficult, I do not know what is happening outside and what kind of virus it is, but you must not leave me alone. I shoot, and you stand behind me or hide if I tell you to. If you see a dead person, don't you dare approach him!"
"Is it like this everywhere?"
Leon didn't quite understand if you were talking about the whole city or just the upcoming race, in any case, he only nodded briefly, giving you a little more time to catch your breath while you listened to the rapid pounding of the heart in his chest. He was afraid too.
It could have tried better. You really pulled yourself together, but after contacting Hunnigan, Leon exhaled for a second, saying that the virus had not spread so far and in fact the appropriate measures had already been taken, she sent the two of you to the evacuation point where doctors could examine you and give you a vaccine injection in case it really was gas, as Leon said, which logically you were both breathing anyway. So the virus could have entered your body, the scariest thing you reasoned while you were following him, is that you are both alive by a lucky chance, because if Leon had not been attacked by an attack of tenderness, it would probably have been the last day of his life. You no longer even thought about the fact that that sponsor called you somewhere... Emerick. You smiled when you remembered that Leon called him a high-dimensional asshole, but he probably became a victim like everyone else, so there's no need to speak ill of him.
You thought that because you didn't think he was a bad person. You and Emerick had common topics of conversation, he knew a lot and he had a rich collection of rare things bought from auctions for a lot of money, besides, as he himself said, much of what he actually has was inherited in his family, which made you think that he probably was some kind of hereditary noble. His manners were really perfect.
It took about an hour before Leon left you in a quiet place. There were only zombies outside and a few survivors who, no matter how hard Leon tried, still couldn't help. They always died in front of his eyes, even now leaving a sense of guilt in his soul, because he should protect and not kill, but now this is the best thing he can offer them to the infected. Wide windows on the third floor of a God-forsaken warehouse protected from enemies and if you believe Ingrit, then this is the C-Virus that Neo-umbrella created, not so old, but in the terrorist market, in fact, it is already junk.
"At least there are no cocoons and lepoticas, otherwise I would have big problems"
You were sitting on the crates risking tearing your nylon tights while Leon was talking via video link on his work smartphone, waiting for his colleague Ingrit from F.O.S to plot the safest route to the plane that should pick you two up. Leon thought you were safe with him. You just sit quietly next to him trying to catch your breath while he does the main work and he was really calm until you screamed sharply falling off the box, forcing him to turn to you when he saw you holding your neck.
The phone immediately fell to the floor.
"What happened? Are you in pain?!"his eyes widened as he pulled out the dart that was the cause of everything. "Baby, can you hear me?! Everything will be fine, hold on!"
There was no one in the window. By the way, there was no time to search for the culprit. Thoughts were flying crazily in his head, Leon picked you up in his arms, hiding you behind drawers so that you would not get into anyone else's lens, noticing how quickly your breathing becomes shallow.
Was it a new virus or an improved one from before? You curled up crying from what seemed like your organs were turning into a burning cauldron causing hellish pain that made you moan loudly.
"Hunnigan! I need a vaccine, urgently! Where's the damn helicopter?!" Ingrit shot up for a moment. The women's painful moans in the background were ready to make Leon burst into tears and she was almost sure that tears were stuck in the corners of his eyes.
"It will take time to figure out what it is..."
"There's no time!" he shouted into the phone. Ingrit's fingers immediately clicked on the keyboard.
You sobbed. The bones seemed to melt, which made you literally lie on the concrete floor until Leon shifted you onto his lap, feeling your body temperature rise from normal to high.
That's probably why you threw up and blood gushed out of your nose. Your heart was pounding wildly, you didn't hear Leon screaming in panic, hugging your body to him, realizing that if you don't inject the serum soon, then everything will be over. You're dying, but Leon's brain refuses to accept it when he picks you up in his arms trying to save you because with your death, life won't make sense to him.
"You're not going to die!" the words expressed through clenched teeth echo in the spacious building as Leon picks you up in his arms and carries you outside in time. "Everything will be different"
Tumblr media
He couldn't let this happen again. It was as if everything was being repeated again from hell to hell, only now in Helena’s place he is himself and he definitely won’t have enough strength to put a bullet in your forehead, and if he does... then he’ll shoot himself too.
Every minute was precious and if it weren’t for the infected, Leon would have instantly reached the right place and injected you with the serum, but luck was not on his side again, just like on the first day of work in Raccoon City. You were heating up so much that he could feel the heat emanating from your body, even through your clothes. Once the virus enters the human body, the incubation period varies for everyone: Deborah Harper lasted two hours before she mutated, for some it takes about a couple of minutes, even God himself does not know how much time is measured for you.
Having reached the helipad, Leon cursed everything in the world since the helicopter was not even visible anywhere. The situation was clearly not going in your favor. You again let out a painful groan, feeling like your body was literally burning and your head hurt so much that you wanted to be hit with a huge hammer. Leon stroked your back, holding you close to him. God, your temperature was already colossally high!
"Just a little more, be patient, honey" Leon doesn't believe it, he wants to, but he can. You scream and cry, trying to tear off your skin with your nails just to make this heat go away. He would like to change places with you, it would be better if he were dying now and not you, and not so monstrously.
The virus flows through the veins, attacks all defense mechanisms, mercilessly rebuilding the entire body in a new way, creating an aggressive weapon out of a person capable of mass murder without any remorse. Leon's affection does not destroy you, right now it is the only way to save yourself, but even if by some miracle an active medicine fell on your head, what is the chance that it saved you? The probability of healing, even with side effects, tends to be no more than 5-7%.
"D-don't want to d-die"
A pitiful groan, through the agony of pain you see Leon’s crying eyes, the skin peels off unnaturally under the influence of high temperature, but this is not visible under the clothes, but face...
"No no no no!"
Leon fell to the ground from your sharp push, but immediately jumped to his feet, running up to you after a wild, painful cry. Just one second and the body was suddenly engulfed in a flash of fire, turning the flesh into a hardened cocoon. You are gone.
It was all over.
Leon sees double. It shouldn't be like this, it shouldn't be like this! The gun is lying somewhere a couple of meters away, having fallen out of the holster when you pushed it away from you, and if this was a standard work situation, Leon would have tried to quickly run up to it or pick up the Sentinel Nine, but his hand did not rise. His knees hit the concrete floor painfully, along with the realization that he had lost again. The hard cocoon transforms the caterpillar inside itself into a beautiful butterfly, which is destined to fly, but Leon knows that everything human in you has burned out and only a monster will hatch from this cocoon, at best only vaguely reminiscent of you, so maybe it’s better to just tear it apart and then let him go on his own a bullet for himself?
The rain continues to pour, gradually calming down. The guys from B.S.A.A are already somewhere down there clearing the city of the infected and saving the survivors because there is a vaccine, there are ways to destroy the trash that Neo-Umbrella created. The sounds of gunshots mix with a frenzied rumble in his heart, which is why Leon doesn't want to hear anything anymore, preferring instead to stretch out his hands to your still warm cocoon, where some movement is already visible. Watching this, Leon was ready to miss even the deafening sound of the helicopter, but the light made him close his eyes and lift his head up.
Even without looking closely, he immediately realized that it was not the helicopter that Hunnigan had sent.
For the sake of love, people really do the most cruel things.
Leon immediately realized who was behind all this when the helicopter landed and several armed men jumped out of it, their faces hidden by masks. He slowly got to his feet, looking at the culprit of his suffering, dressed in a snow-white suit, with an impudent grin that Kennedy remembered from the beginning of the evening, when everything was still fine. Leon could have sworn that he had never felt such rage before, although a painful scream stuck in his throat.
No one pointed a gun at him. Everyone just froze, waiting for something.
"It's a small world, Mr. Kennedy," he said, waving to one of his assistants, and he and two mercenaries pulled a cryogenic capsule out of the plane. "But it was stupid to think that a man like you would die from a bunch of mindless zombies. I must admit, I didn't want to go to extreme measures until the last moment, I liked today's event, but because of you, I had to cancel everything. I've lost most of my collection"
"So it was you after all…" Leon muttered through his teeth, not yet grabbing the gun, realizing the risks. He is alone in the open space - a wonderful target. "I didn't see your corpse in the museum."
"A distraction," he explained, watching the capsule's preparation from the corner of his eye.
Emerick… Leon suddenly remembered how you recently confessed to him that he began to take care of you by giving you flowers, then inviting you for a cup of coffee, listening to music or general topics of which there were too many. But in the end, when the attentions began to exceed the standard amount, hinting at something more, you refused him, saying that you already have someone. You didn't notice, but Leon has been catching his obsessive glances at you all evening… How sometimes you looked at the exhibits behind the glass case, which you can not touch, despite the ban.
But you didn't even choose between the two of them. Leon always came first.
"For what?"
Emerick smiled as he looked at the cocoon and Leon's question disappeared by itself. Because of jealousy? Because a rich bastard couldn't get what he wanted, even with a giant bank account?
"You won't believe it, Mr. Kennedy, but for love. Death took away a dear person from me and I want to return what belonged to me, however, you will not understand this"
Leon grinned, clenching his fists.
"Why? Why her? If you wanted to take revenge on me, then you would have taken revenge on me and not on her!"
"Who said it was you?" asked Emerick, looking at his interlocutor as if he were an idiot. "For the most part, you just annoyed me like an annoying fly, but no more, although you encroached on something that does not belong to you."
Leon was about to answer and pounce despite the machine guns pointed at him, but the movement below and the sound of the cocoon tearing attracted all attention. He has seen it many times and your hand was reaching out to break free from the tight shackles of the past flesh, forcing its way out. Everyone is closely watching the birth of a new life, but only in the eyes of one of those present there was delight, not fear and regret. Leon couldn't bear it… He didn't understand what was wrong. The transformation was different.
"Happy birthday, Ada,"
A memory flashed through his mind.
History repeats itself. Only it turns out that besides Simmons, there is another bastard who looks like him in everything.
Leon reached out to you, as if trying to grab you, to help you get out and take you away from here. A brief moment of hope still lit up in my soul like a small smoldering flame, my mind seemed to be clouded, and yet deep inside there was a glimmer of awareness. He couldn't get rid of the feeling that something was wrong while you were trying to get out, muffling all his annoying voices of caution. Wrong smell, wrong body color… Leon squints his eyes, the cocoon breaks and before he can grab your hand, he freezes.
The slimy, sticky naked body lying in front of him looked more like a white marble statue with a thin network of blue veins protruding under the skin. The mercenaries looked at each other, clutching their guns tighter but still not pointing them at you. The sight is really amazing. Leon comes up to you lying down, at first glance it seems lifeless, but looking closely, your chest quietly heaves and he kneels down again, pulling you to his shoulders, peering into familiar but still changed facial features.
There are no appendages behind the back, from which ugly claws protrude, no razor-sharp claws, no fangs. But instead, unnaturally pale skin and hair… the structure is thicker, and the color merges with the color of the body. The same discolored ones, but stuck together due to the transformation in the cocoon. You open your eyes a little, and instead of the usual iris, two red lights rush at him without a shadow of anger and aggression, just fatigue, something that Leon used to see when you stayed up late at work.
"And, when the grave restores her dead,
When life again to dust is given,
On thy dear breast I'll lay my head—
Without thee! where would be my Heaven?"
Ignoring the familiar lines of poetry, Leon remains silent when he gives him an order in a harsh voice.
"You won't understand," Leon has no doubt. He doesn't want to understand these motives. "You're not even worthy of the dirt under her nails, let alone touching her!"
Leon picks you up in his arms, turning to face Emerick, meeting with loaded guns.
"Did you infect her with the C-virus so that she would become your toy?"
"A toy?!" he snapped back.
Now it already looks like a confrontation between two men for the heart of one woman, almost a joust in modern realities in all its dirty manifestations and meannesses, but Leon does not feel the advantage. A fairy tale with a bad ending. One madman decided to use a virus to change the girl's memory and her appearance, making you the one who died a long time ago, and he…a brave man with a valiant heart who somehow thinks that even after death, Simmons is also connected with this. Even indirectly. Sold the idea of resurrecting someone else's personality in another person?
The rain is hitting your body in drops, and Leon wants to cover you, hide you, hoping that this is his second attempt. It seems that consciousness is returning to you, but you are still disoriented, not understanding who you are and what is happening. You became a part of the darkness that Leon carried on his shoulders.
"All for love," one wave of his hand, and the one standing behind him makes Leon bend painfully, crying out in pain, almost dropping you, his fingers dig into your skin, causing a barely audible moan from your mouth, but you are still snatched from his hands, carried into that capsule, after that, Emerick turns away from his opponent, putting something like an oxygen mask on you, stroking your cheek gently with his fingers.
"What the hell kind of love?!" Leon knows for sure that the other person is smiling even if he does not see it himself.
"You may not believe it, but I'm one-woman man, Mr. Kennedy. It took me a fortune to improve the C-virus so that it would affect her body without turning her into a vile insect-like creature. There was only one side effect after the final result - loss of pigmentation, but this is not significant, in all other respects it completely met my expectations. All THIS is for her sake."
"You sick... "
"No, I'm a heartbroken husband who lost his wife prematurely but now we will be reunited." Emerick looked at you lovingly before closing the capsule, which they began to load back into the helicopter. “And you, Mr. Kennedy, are just one of millions. You saw a work of art and decided to grped it when you had no right to do so. Someone like you will never understand her value, you were never able to give her everything she deserved!”
It’s hard to disagree when the muzzle of a machine gun is pressed to the back of his head, but Leon still fights as he watches the cryogenic capsule ahead being shoved back into the helicopter.
Adrenaline is pumping into his head and his palm is itching to get the second gun out of the holster, but Leon realizes one wrong move and this will be the finale in his story. You will drown in a pool of false memories, considering yourself the person you have never seen or known, you will begin to be called by another name, carrying antibodies to the improved C virus in your new body and you will give yourself into the arms of a man distraught from his loss, considering yourself his true love.
Leon walks on the edge, but now the feeling that a thin rope can throw him into the abyss, from where there is no return, feels more acute. If only Hunnigan's helicopter had arrived, but intuition suggested that the delay was caused not just by technical circumstances.
"Do you think you injected her with a virus and she will start to adore you? You gave her the power to smear you like a bug on the wall as soon as she wakes up." He does not know the properties of this virus and what abilities it can give, but experience suggests that minor adjustments in appearance and lack of pigment like albinos are not the whole potential obtained.
"You've dealt with many terrorists, but I'm not one of them, Mr. Kennedy," still pretending to politely hide his hatred for some American sharing a bed with his woman, whom he considered his own, Emerick retorts: "I don't want to turn people into monsters, although I don't want the world to be on fire, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices. This virus was tested on many before my trusted person injected it to her, and before using it, I tested it on many."
Leon clenches his teeth, glaring at Emerick, letting him finish. Truly, big money creates lawlessness.
"As I said, everything is for love"
But there is no love here. Just an obsession.
Emerick no longer intends to continue the conversation, sits back down in his seat in the helicopter next to the cryocapsule, again signaling his people to get rid of the last witness, besides, he no longer intends to dirty his hands, especially about someone like Kennedy. Although he may still have the desire to end Leon on his own, but looking back at the capsule, his lips are touched with a mocking smile. The project must be completed, and the finishing touches are always needed so that the creator can enjoy his creation.
"But so be it, I'll leave her memories of you. The most bitter and unhappy, she will remember you and be glad that I saved her from you. See, I can be generous even to those who don't deserve it."
"I will refuse your generosity."
The situation was turning into complete shit. Emerick probably hoped to clean up all traces of himself, which is why he left the mercenaries to clean up after him, while he himself rose into the air with a last contemptuous glance at Leon.
"I'll find you, you son of a bitch."
He'll find him and kill and then bring you back.
Fortunately, sometimes Leon has a guardian angel with a smoke bomb behind his back, covering him with shots from a crossbow bolt while Leon quickly pulls out his spare pistol, getting rid of the last two mercenaries. A familiar style and a familiar fragrance when the haze clears allowing you to see the savior in the flesh in his unchanging red outfit and Leon would even smile at her if the plane with you did not move away from him every second. Ada is the red queen of today who postponed the execution of her former lover, smiling at him gently and a little cunningly wondering how fate brings them together and separates their paths from time to time. Leon does not thank out loud, but words of gratitude to this woman who clearly spent her personal time on him still freeze in the air.
She looks at the remains of the cocoon, clutching the crossbow tighter, roughly imagining what could have happened, seeing Kennedy's wet eyelashes, although the rain could have been to blame for everything, which fortunately had already calmed down, as well as the noise outside, although occasionally groans and shots were heard in the distance. Today, her calculated accuracy saved him again.
"Long time no see, Leon" The velvety voice sounds soothing, but a little tired. In any case, Leon definitely owed her more than double the fare for his rescue.
Tumblr media
A princess must have a knight in love to protect her from evil. In fairy tales, a kiss of love usually solves all problems, but what if the princess herself does not remember losing herself in the memories of her own and others? A suppressed personality cries out from the depths, not wanting to be forgotten, fighting with the one who took the pedestal and two names… two girls cannot merge into one, causing you only panic attacks and uncontrolled aggression, forcing the creator to believe that he is not so skilled even if he was filled with desire and endowed with money.
A charming man who calls himself your husband bends over her, holding out his hand decorated with antique rings to you, and you look at her with a puzzled look, pressing your back against the wall, trying to create distance between you. Because no matter how hard they tried to suppress your personality, but the feeling of uncontrollable fear, fused together with a new body, did not leave you, so you did not believe. Neither to him, nor to himself, nor to anyone else, and the dagger in the white palm hidden behind your back does not seem so heavy. The reaction is faster, the senses are heightened, and although the virus does not give the princess strength, you still resist, wounding your "husband", allowing scarlet drops of blood to bloom like roses on a white dress that has merged with the color of your skin.
Contrary to that, you have not become perfect, but you are still a passionate obsession for two men: one with pure thoughts and the other with a mad desire that has been tormenting him for a long time. It's hard to escape from the mansion, but thanks to heightened senses, it no longer seems impossible. However, it is even harder to ignore your true self, which screams and tears your head apart, as well as to separate two personalities from yourself.
You're confused. Not in luxurious rooms and corridors, but in yourself.
Something screams from the inside telling you to run away from here, and then it calms you that this place is your home, you know every corner here, every crack on the vase, these outfits in a separate dressing room tailored specifically for you, everything is familiar and at the same time alien. Your husband said that he saved you from a bastard named Leon, and after saying this name, the image of a blond man with beautiful blue eyes immediately stands in your eyes, but your heart overflows with rage, forcing you to tighten your grip on the dagger hilt.
You still have at least one sincere emotion, as you thought, however...
Leon is intently examining the analysis result from the remains of the cocoon that was sent to him. It really was what he was thinking, but Ada had already revealed a little secret to him.
"Maybe years will pass, and her real personality will somehow begin to manifest itself. I still don't know how Simmons fixed Carla's memory."
Leon puts the phone back in his pocket, looking at Ada with a slightly offended look, although she knows that he holds a grudge only against himself.
"But she's an exact copy of you," Leon reminded her, saying that when you pulled out of the cocoon, your face remained almost the same, yes, the features changed a little, but it was still you.
"But it will explain your new friend's obsession with your girlfriend," she chuckled, teasing him kindly, "If she looks so much like his dead wifey, then why would he change her appearance when they are almost identical to each other."
"And if it was an extreme measure, as he said... " Leon continues, scolding himself even more.
"You provoked him to infect her yourself. If he was hitting on her and she turned him down because of you, then it makes sense. Maybe if your girlfriend had been more mercantile and greedy for money, everything would have been without the virus."
However, was it Leon's fault or yours? Ada didn't blame anyone.
Leon may never guess at the ulterior motives, which may not have existed at all, but who else but she helped him again, however, leaving all the dirty work to Leon himself. After all, you were his concern, not hers. Although she followed you and your strange behavior a little, she finally sent him the coordinates of the place and your photo.
"I wish I could say that she remembered everything, but it seems that the virus did not affect her the way it was originally intended. Be careful, your beloved is a little aggressive."
Is it a consequence of the virus, or do you still remember who you are? Leon wants to believe in the latter when he collects equipment for the road, no longer hoping for anyone's help. But your new house looks more like one big clever trap and all the working staff have disappeared somewhere. In Leon's opinion, there should be more than one butler here, but there were no corpses either. Holding a gun at the ready, it was essentially a trespass on private property, but in the report he would later indicate that he was getting evidence. It won't be easy to find you, although you might make a little noise to attract his attention.
And you? You are sitting in a silent garden in the sweet scent of roses, standing out against the background of bright colors as a white spot, listening to the noise of the fountain, which still somehow calms you down after the last scuffle with your spouse. Alone, barefoot, you walk along a stone path, fingering strands of hair between your fingers, trying to compare in your head incomprehensible pictures from the past of two different people. You cannot love that person, for some reason you are afraid and angry at him despite his care. He took the knife away from you, letting you wander around the house like a ghost humming an annoying melody from his own past to himself, letting Emerick hope that manipulation and time will do their job. You hate Kennedy and that's been enough.
The support group is ready, but Leon still prefers to pick you up and then let the guys from the alliance work, having their own personal accounts in this matter. This could be the easiest capture of a terrorist in all his professional experience, but when his presence becomes known, the situation becomes complicated in the form of additional traps equipped with deadly devices and gas for which the anti-C vaccine is useless. In the end, Leon remains even without light and the flashlight does not save well. He looks into every room in an attempt to find at least some hint of your stay here after almost six months of absence.
And he finds in one of the inhabited rooms where only one bed occupies a quarter of the space. There is a beautiful comb with precious stones with traces of white hair on the dressing table, and Leon, picking up the jewelry, is sure that you are here somewhere, just like he is wandering among the dark corridors, although he really regrets that he did not find you in this room. However, another thought comes to his head when a thin lace pale pink negligee lying on the back of the sofa catches his eye… you only walked around in such things with him alone, and clutching the fabric in his hands, Leon can't help but think that Emerick slept with you in this bed.
The funny thing is that he's ready to forgive you everything now. He won't even remember that another man touched you afterwards because you're a victim and Leon, even if you don't remember him, wants you to at least return to a relatively normal life.
But the silence is suddenly cut short when a creak is heard behind, barely perceptible to the ear. A secret door? He does not turn around, freezing in one position, continuing to hold your negligee in his hands, feeling someone's sharp gaze on his back, but out of the corner of his eye catches a familiar silhouette, in the darkness of which two red eyes are burning.
You.
Leon tenses up. The sound of the blade breaks the silence, and your light tread turns into a sharp jerk as you rush at him with a sharp hairpin, hoping to plunge it deeper into his back. Your reaction may have improved, but Leon's reflexes are still faster, Kennedy dodges to the side, which causes you to fall directly onto your dressing table, knocking it over with you, forcing him to open his eyes in amazement.
"No, no, no, you couldn't turn into a monster," a thought runs through Leon's head.
The mirror breaks into many pieces and dig into your skin, causing the blood to contrast brightly on the light skin, which seems almost an unnatural sight. But through the pain, you hiss again trying to pounce on him, which causes Leon to fall on his back, rather out of surprise, managing to intercept your hand that aimed the clip directly at his eye. Pushing you away is not too big a problem, but the point is that you will still continue to throw at him and he does not want to use weapons at all.
"Bastard!" you growl, "Don't you like being hit back?"
"Stop, it's me!" he shouted, still holding your wrist so that you couldn't hurt him.
It was as if you hadn't heard. Leon pushed you away a little, hoping that being farther away would allow you to get to know him better, but what he didn't expect was for you to lash out at him over and over again, and honestly, if it were up to him, he would have removed the threat quickly, but it's hard to hurt someone you love. He'd had to kill Marvin and the President in the past, that in itself still weighs on his soul, but if he had to kill you… Deborah was easier. She was Helena's sister, not his, so his hand didn't shake when he pulled the trigger of the shotgun, but you're different. You're impossible to shoot at.
"Stop it!" he begs twisting your wrist so that you scream in pain and that scream tears his soul causing a lump in his throat. "It's not you! I beg yoy don't make me hurt you."
He doesn't even want to think about the estate being so deserted because of you. Leon still thinks it's just a virus, and somewhere inside you remember his, you just need to trigger it somehow. Ada said the virus affects you differently than it does Carla, but she didn't mention that you're aggressive to anyone who tries to touch you. Leon keeps his guard up, but despite your tight grip, you've apparently acquired some sort of ability that allowed you to break free and run down the hallway. He's not sure if you can throw people against the wall like baseballs, but your regeneration is enviable, because the only reminder of the wounds from the broken mirror on your body are drops of blood.
No abrasions.
So, after a little scuffle, as a result of which the antique dressing table is smashed to pieces along with all the bottles standing on it, Leon gets to his feet trying to figure out what the hell just happened. However, your trail has already disappeared. The house is huge, but despite this, Leon still puts the safety on the gun, afraid to instinctively shoot you if you attack him again. In hand-to-hand combat, you have little chance, but his reflexes can work faster than his brain. But abrasions and wounds a couple of centimeters deep, your body is able to regenerate itself. So cold steel will be the best thing, in case he meets other inhabitants of the estate besides you.
As already mentioned, the flashlight did not save the situation too much, of course, fanatics worked in some places, especially in the garden, but Leon did not find anything except small supplies, although his gut instinct encouraged him to pick up a gun to feel confident. But in the backyard, after several hours of searching among the marble statues and the damp fresh air that hit in the face, somewhere among the bushes in which some cautious movement is heard. It's like a wild cat sneaking up to its prey and Leon realizes - you're here!
Behind him again, so Leon straightens up. If it were daytime or even evening, he would have no problem finding you, but there is a starry night overhead. Rage is growing somewhere between your ribs, inside, but everything is different for him, because despite the internal contradiction, Leon is to some extent convinced that it is useless to fight with you.
There is nothing in his chest but regret and delayed words that he rarely said.
And yet at some point you look at each other continuously. You notice that he has only one knife in his hands, just like you, although Leon hides it back in the case, taking two small steps back trying to talk again. White hair is blown away by the wind and it annoys you that there is no elastic band or barrette to put it in a bun or tail. There doesn't seem to be anything in this damn house for your comfort!
The most painful thing is the way you look at him, but Leon still grins hiding his pain behind an inappropriate joke, standing in a fighting stance preparing to deflect blows.
"Well, I'm not against role-playing games, I really liked it when you were my bunny last time."
It's confusing or rather discouraging that it stops you for a few seconds and Leon uses this time to take the knife away from you, but you dodge so deftly and still more scared, almost dropping the knife to the ground.
"Come on, drop it, sweetheart" Leon asks, taking a step towards you, then you, on the contrary, retreat trying to find your advantage. "You know I'm not the one who's going to hurt you. I'll take you home."
"fucking dog," you growl in response, seeing how he swallows the insult, "Do you think I'll go with the one who made me like this?!"
Your voice is almost hoarse with hate. At the same time, Leon's face takes on a painful appearance, as if he was hit from the inside in the most painful place. That's what that son of a bitch told you! Okay, you can scold him with the most vile words, most of which he'll really be surprised that you even know, but... No buts!
"See?! I'm not afraid of you anymore! "
"You've never been afraid of me."
"You loved me, and I still love you," he wants to say, but the words are stuck in his throat. And after all, somewhere in the whirlpool of memories, these frames sometimes pop up in your head. Not the Stotholm syndrome...
You weren't afraid of him, but of the other one... the man who is your husband calls you by a different name, although Leon calls you by a completely different one, and what you hear from the agent seems much more familiar, more correct and more familiar.
"Baby, I don't want to hurt you! If I wanted to, I would have shot long ago, right? "
"I'm not your baby!" you're snarling, and your red eyes are burning even brighter in the dark.
Bad word.
Leon wants to bite his tongue. He still doesn't know about all the properties of your mutation, but he hopes that now you won't have claws behind your back, God bless him who left him many years ago, but it seems you don't have anything like that. Although when you attack him in a fit of anger, Leon really hurts like hell, which makes him even clench his teeth trying to hold back a moan of pain.
Probably, with strong malice, the power also somehow increases... A lot of times, because it looks like you broke his rib.
"Yeah, you never liked that word, but at least you didn't rush at me with a knife before," Leon still jokes, realizing that talking clearly won't help here. He doesn't want to use force, but it seems that there is no choice. He agrees that you may never love him more, but he won't leave you here either.
It is not even necessary to move to radical measures. Your head is bursting with pain again, causing tears to flow from your eyes and everything inside screams with fear, making you want to cower into a ball. Therefore, Leon does not expect you to bend at the knees and cry and start running away from him, just as you ran, according to Ada, all over the estate from Emerick. The wind licks wet tracks from your cheeks, scratching your skin when you run along the garden path, running out into a small open space before freezing in a frenzy, pressing your palms to your chest, as they did in a previous life, before mutation, when you were worried.
Cocoons.
A nightmare come true. Your heart was pounding and forehead was covered with sticky sweat, as were your palms from which the knife slipped.
"It's scary..." an inner voice echoes. You hear Leon running up to you and stopping too, looking at something he hoped to forget someday. Tears involuntarily flow down your cheeks, as if the real you are making your way, pushing someone else's personality into the background. Fire, pain, fear, a dart... This hellish pain that turns people into monsters, you haven't seen the staff, the estates, but now you understand what happened. Just like a divine epiphany.
Maybe it's just one of the reactions. Leon remembered from his own experience that not all individuals hatched from cocoons, but this was a huge rarity, and here as many as twenty if not more, however, this was the trigger. You remembered something.
The wet paths glowed in the light of the moon on your cheeks. If the situation had been different, Leon would have immediately tried to console you, but it seems that this could have become another stupid idea, on the other hand, your stupor could have been turned into a plus and they could have simply picked you up, put you in a helicopter and then calmly dealt with this crap. A tempting thought, of course, but... Something like a phantom pain... a feeling as if the whole body was burning again and being reshaped under high temperatures. Even the same hellish headache that sends a painful pulsation into the eyes. You were again struck by a short flash of memories, how someone’s strong hands held and stroked you while your body was changing and it definitely wasn’t your husband... his hands are icy, and his voice is dry, devoid of emotion... Maybe..
"Аt least it's clear where everyone has gone," a voice sounded from behind. It was getting harder to breathe and the world was spinning wildly in front of your eyes, so an inner voice told you to find where to land or your head was at risk of injury. This is not the first attack, but the most severe in the last few months. Anyway, your vague consciousness leaves you for a while, turning off, allowing you to get lost in fragmentary memories, but Leon's hands manage to catch you in time, carefully laying you on the grass.
Leon checked your pulse, the main thing is that your heart was beating and your chest was heaving smoothly. Apparently, it was an ordinary fainting fit against the background of a spectacle that caused you psychological trauma. He picked up your knife with which you tried to stab him a couple of minutes ago, was ready to take you away from this place as he had hoped earlier. Those guys who were still alive from his group proved that Emerick was not in the estate, but Leon did not believe.
And it's good that I didn't believe it. Leon didn't believe in miracles at all.
Well, right now he was definitely aiming to just pick you up before you regained consciousness, because trying to explain where the truth is and where the lie is clearly not the best idea. Calling a helicopter for evacuation and picking you up in his arms, hugging you closer to him, Leon quickly jumped up but heard a painfully familiar click to his right, which froze him in place.
“In the past, hands were cut off for theft, but I’ll assume that a colossal imbecile like you doesn’t know that.”
Leon grunts as he turns around. A tactical vest will protect his back and chest, but his head remains open for a shot.
"Then you should have been walking without hands for a long time," Leon retorts, putting you on a bench while delaying your rescue. "Looks like you didn't run away after all."
"I don't like unwanted guests, because of you, my wife and I will have to move to another place. It's a pity, she liked this garden."
"She's. Not. Your. Wife." Leon almost hisses, reaching for his gun, but jumps aside after a burst of three shots that were meant for him. "Bastard"
"I was informed that they did not get rid of you and I assumed that you would look for me at least out of a sense of duty to the country you work for, but please note that there are bigger fish in the sea. You seem to have a weakness for women with Asian features, so maybe you'll focus on your own preferences and not mess with my wife, whom, as I told you earlier, you just don't deserve. You have no idea what a valuable diamond she is, a nugget! One in a million!
Oh, this conceit! His measured and calm tone is annoying, Leon tries to suppress his anger at the fact that the bastard dug up information on him somewhere, but his attachment to Ada is in the past, although they still care about each other in some sense, but now there is you. And you are you, not the woman that Emerick considers his wife. Leon hides behind one of the cocoons and the bullets hit the non-dense flesh, after which a kind of ugly embryo that was once an ordinary person falls to the ground, forcing him to quickly take a better position behind the statue of the goddess Aphrodite.
"You've been living a lie for so long that you've come to believe it yourself!"
"Oh, sure, you know better!" sarcastic laughter makes anger boil from the inside, but Leon looks out of hiding just to look at you and make sure you're still where he left you. "We past even though we always knew that we were made for each other, and only by chance and then you got in my way! "
"I would have felt sorry for you if in your grief you hadn't tried to make an innocent girl into a copy of your dead wife and killed a lot of people in the process."
Leon pulled the safety off the gun. Now the main thing is not to catch a stray bullet and hope that this bastard does not turn into a giant mutated creature, because apart from four spare clips and another pistol, he has nothing and the space is not spacious enough to maneuver, besides, you could also get hurt. He has already forgotten that you can regenerate wounds, but nevertheless, there is no time to find out what is your Achilles heel yet.
"All for the sake of love"
"This is not love"
Leon pulled the trigger but Emerick dodged. There was a smell of gunpowder and something sickeningly acrid in the air, as if something had died somewhere and even the scent of flowers could not completely drown out this smell. You opened your eyes, but your head still continued to spin and the sharp noise of the vystreds only mocked your brain, forcing you to involuntarily pull up your arms and clap your ears with your palms, just like... Like when you were protected from zombies in a museum"
It wanted to hide, curled in a dark corner and not get out until everything resolves itself, although life knows how to throw surprises. You hear someone else's conversation, you hear how the one who came for you says that your husband is a sick cretin who considers it normal to infect people to make a copy of a dead person out of them, whereas he explains his reasons only with grief. The puzzle is not fully assembled and there are still many white spots in your memory, but some fragments have connected to each other despite the fact that you still do not understand who you are.
This shootout will continue for some time, and unnoticed by these two, you will slowly slide off the bench and see Leon and Emerick engage in hand-to-hand combat after they ran out of bullets. It is noteworthy that after losing your knife in battle, which is now proudly stuck in a tree post, he used his own, which he did not plan to part with, but since they are busy with each other, you calmly grabbed the handle and pulled out the blade, looking at your own reflection of scarlet eyes in steel.
You don't love any of them and you don't want to choose someone's side at all, but you also don't want to be tied to someone who actually infected you, having put so much effort into driving you crazy. You need to make a choice, and whether it will be right, only time will decide. Two people are fighting for one woman, although it looks like you are not a princess in trouble at all, and as Ada said, despite the effect of the virus, the real personality will still take everything back under his control, but the old life will never be. All dreams burned down along with that body, so you're also quite sincerely stabbing the family knife into Emerick's back.
The princess does not need a knight to kill the dragon, because she herself is able to stab him when he does not expect it. This is the simplest from the point of view of Leon's combat missions, but at the same time the most difficult. A scarlet stain spreads on the snow-white suit, but that's all. Emerick had not infected himself with anything, although his fate could not be called terrible. It was all for love, and he died at the hands of that love. A stupid death, which is even insulting, but not for you. And walking with you to the helicopter in the living room above the fireplace, Leon really understands why such an obsession arose...
You really look like the smiling girl in the portrait like two drops of water.
Tumblr media
He was told that rehabilitation would take a long time, possibly years. You never spoke to him, you didn't even say a word, but you didn't attack him either. You just withdrew into yourself, allowing the doctors to conduct tests and identify whether you are ready to mutate into other stages when you receive any damage, but I was glad that you did not. In their opinion, all your physical data remained at the same level before infection, although perhaps you just deceived everyone well just so that they would leave you behind and not make you an experimental rat, allowing them to drain blood from you, but this allowed Rebecca's team to make a new improved vaccine. A dubious achievement for Leon, given the fact that you persistently ignore him.
He brings clothes, books, even begged for a TV for you to let you kill time and still nothing. You didn't even turn it on until the moment when, with fighting and shouting and after a bunch of official papers, Leon was finally allowed to take you home. They said that you don't have any regeneration and your injuries heal like on any other person, you don't rush at people in attempts to devour them, sometimes you still talk for more than five minutes a day (but not with Leon) and you don't have any unusual abilities. Nothing that would be of interest to the bigwigs of the government. You'd think that you'd literally become a black sheep, people would just start mistaking you for an albino, which is basically true now.
It's good when you can control some of your body's processes. This eliminates a lot of problems. At home, you curiously look at all these little things from your past life, thinking about what it was like to share this apartment with Leon, you look at the bed in which you must have slept with him, and it seems incredibly comfortable, although right now sleeping with Leon causes rejection. He does not climb into your personal space, no longer clings like a puppy, although he whines in the corner from the lost affection of a loved one. He gave you the bed, but he sleeps on the couch, brings breakfast and after a couple of months you get in touch.
It took Jill Valentine several years before she returned to the barn. Chris is so comforting, telling him that everything is still fine, but if necessary, he will let you go. One way or another, of course, he will check if everything is okay with you, but he will let you go if you still do not accept him back into your heart. Leon believes that therapy will help and you will remember your real self by separating the grain from the chaff. You don't have to love him again, although he will be happy if you ask him to stay by your side on a stormy night, hugging you after a nightmare. Then he will wrap you warmly in a blanket and press your face to his chest, gently stroking your back and comforting you with words.
Therapy will help and one day everything will be fine again. Kissing the top of your head, Leon wants to believe it as much as you do. At least you're willing to try.

NO MINORS UNDER THE CUT . THANK YOU .
---------------------------
leon kennedy . the pretty boy rookie cop turned special us agent . you ' d heard the stories about him and claire redfield surviving raccoon city﹐ and you ' d be lying if you said you weren 't impressed . your track record was just as impressive﹐ having pulled of multiple missions the military refused to take on .
which is exactly why you were the perfect one to be teamed up with him . he was cold﹐ sometimes rude and mostly shut off﹐ not that you minded . you preferred his silence over any other partner you ' ve had in the past .
it was simpler with him﹐ never having to make small talk﹐ never having to come up with smart answers to cocky questions﹐ just a simple nod﹐ a few instruction sentences and a glance would be enough communication to last you hours .
it was a slow night on the mission﹐ so the two of you mutually decided that a drink couldn ' t hurt . you and the blind man headed over to a little place down the street﹐ a chuckle falling from his lips upon reading the name﹐ Scott ' s Tavern . you ' d be lying if you said you weren ' t attrscted to him﹐ he was handsome﹐ strong and knew what he wanted . from what you had been told﹐ his history with women had been less than good﹐ ada wong ' s name popped up a couple of times . god how you hated that woman . she had been the reason one of your missions went south﹐ sabotaging you around every corner﹐ and even betraying you in the end . you were bitter about the subject – but then again﹐ you had every right to be .
leon ' s hand rested on the small of your back as he led you to a table﹐ taking the initiative to glare at all the men giving you disgusting looks . the place wasn ' t exactly the four seasons﹐ but it had alcohol and that was enough . like a perfect gentleman﹐ leon pulled your chair out for you﹐ pushing it back in gently as you sat down . you thanked him quietly as he took his own seat﹐ a waitress making her way to your table .
you didn ' t like the way she looked at him﹐ her eyelids fluttering﹐ laughing at all his horrible jokes that in reality barely constituted as such . you rolled your eyes as she walked away with your orders﹐ swaying her hips ever so slightly .
❛ someone ' s jealous . ❜ his voice broke the silence﹐ his eyes staring into your soul .
❛ i ' m not jealous . ❜ you scoffed﹐ crossing your arms over your chest . your eyes met his﹐ a lump forming in your throat . ❛ why are you looking at me like that﹖❜
❛ like what﹐ [Y/N]﹖ ❜ the agent questioned﹐ feigning cluelessness . his hands were on the table﹐ his fingers intertwined .
❛ never mind . ❜ you dismissed the subject﹐ the waitress making her way back to your table﹐ placing your drinks in front of you . she tried flirting with him again﹐ but he didn ' t seem to give her the time of day .
a few drinks and a few hours later﹐ your confidence grew﹐ you ' d questioned him about his time in raccoon city﹐ his relationship with claire and the one you were most curious about﹐ ada wong . leon had begged you to just drop the subject﹐ yet you insisted . you wanted information on her﹐ something you could use to inevitably be the cause of her downfall .
❛ [ Y/N ]﹐ i ' m warning you . ❜ he spoke sternly .
❛ oh﹐ come on﹐ leon . loosen up a bit . this is the first break we ' ve had in a while . i ' m just trying to have some fun .❜ you groaned﹐ setting your glass on the table . ❛ besides﹐ you ' re way too good for her anyway . ❜
his gaze shifted from the table to you﹐ brows furrowing in confusion as he tried to make sense of your words .
❛ what﹖❜ he questioned﹐ not wanting to believe it .
❛ come on﹐ let ' s face it﹐ she betrayed you﹐ left you﹐ twice . that isn ' t fair . she broke your heart and made you think she was dead – ❜ your words were cut off by his lips crashing into yours . before you could react﹐ your body instinctively reacted to his﹐ kissing back hungrily as your fingers entangled in his hair .
his hands found your face as he pulled away from you﹐ blue hues staring you down .
❛ you talk too much﹐ you know that right﹖❜ he asked﹐ a lught chuckle audible in his tone .
❛ i ' ve been told﹐ but you have one hell of a way to shut me up . ❜ you giggled . your eyes wandered down his body﹐ his black shirt clinging to his figure . fuck he was a sight to behold . his bulge was clearly visible through his jeans﹐ thus sparking the bright idea to tease him and see where it went .
your hand rested on his thigh﹐ slowly inching its way upwards﹐ your eyes reconnecting with his﹐ not daring to look away . his body stiffened﹐ making you wonder how many women have ever taken charge with him before . his hand wrapped around your wrist﹐ gently raising it off his leg . you withdrew immediately .
❛ i ' m sorry – ❜ you spoke﹐ looking down in embarrassment . his fingers caught your chin﹐ lifting your face to look at him again .
❛ bathroom﹐ now . ❜ he tugged you out of your seat﹐ leading you to the back of the building .
as soon as the door shut behind you﹐ your chest connected with the wall﹐ leon ' s hand on your hip﹐ the other already working on the button of your jeans .
❛ you have no idea how long i ' ve waited for this [ Y/N ] . ❜ he spoke as he shoved your pants and panties down﹐ leaving you bare in front of him .
leon knelt down﹐ spreading you open to get a good look at that perfect pussy of yours . jesus christ﹐ what he wouldn ' t give to take his time with you﹐ but there would be another opportunity for that .
slowly﹐ leon sunk a finger into your cunt﹐ feeling its warmth wrap around him﹐ a moan slipping from your lips . he was mesmerised by how responsive you were to him﹐ how your body reacted to his touch .
❛ that good﹐ baby﹖❜ he cooed as he stood up﹐ his finger pumping in and out of you at a torturous pace .
❛ ye – mhm. . . ❜ you nodded﹐ your eyes shut﹐ taking in the moment﹐ but you needed more . you needed him . ❛ leon﹐ please. . . ❜ you begged﹐ needing to feel more .
without a word﹐ his finger slid from your core﹐ immediately tugging at his belt﹐ his pants dropped seconds later . the blond stroked his length as he stepped closer to you﹐ aligning himself with your entrance .
your hands were pressed to the cold wall as you mentally prepared yourself to be split apart by the great leon kennedy .
❛ deep breath﹐ sweetheart . ❜ he whispered into your ear as he pushed in slowly .
leon took his time﹐ seething into you﹐ feeling every crevice of your cunt . a moan clawed its way up your throat as he filled you up and split you apart so easily . he wrapped an arm around your waist﹐ pulling you into him as he started thrusting . slow movements followed as he rolled his hips﹐ reaching deeper than anyone ever had before .
soon enough﹐ his pace picked up and his thrusts became heavier and harder . cervix kisses teased you closer and closer to insanity as he slammed into you . his lips latched onto your neck﹐ marking you as his own .
your small hands gripped onto his arm as a string of moans and profanities fell from your swollen lips﹐ lips he would give anything to see wrapped around cock as he slid down your pretty little throat .
❛ fuck﹐ baby . you sound so fucking good . ❜ he moaned into your ear﹐ praising your actions﹐ encouraging you to be more vocal .
your moans got louder and louder as you neared your climax﹐ prompting leon to clasp his hand over your mouth . the way your body fit so perfectly in his comforted you in a way you never knew you needed .
soon enough﹐ your walls tightened around his shaft﹐ the knot in your stomach growing tighter as he pounded into you . your nails dug into his skin﹐ leaving angry red marks in their wake .
❛ leon﹐ please . . . ❜ you said﹐ barely a whisper﹐ the only thing you got from him was a grunt﹐ you took it as a yes .
once your orgasm hit﹐ your vision blurred as your legs shook﹐ your grip on his arm tightening as you pressed your hips into his . a throaty moan fell from his lips as your cunt practically sucked his cock in﹐ threatening to never let go .
with one last thrust﹐ leon hit his peak﹐ his seed flooding your womb﹐ leaving you breathless as the warmth spread . leon picked you up gently﹐ turning you around so his back was against the wall .
the man slid down﹐ cradling you gently as he held you﹐ comforting you as you both came down from your highs . your head rested on his shoulder﹐ in turn﹐ his rested upon yours .
❛ i should ramble more often. . . ❜

Saved her first: Leon Kennedy x reader
Tumblr media
After he saved her first, you fight.
——
A/N: thank you for 90 something likes on my last fic, that means so much to me SOBS. especially since that was the first thing I posted since last year so thank you again.
BTW I'M NOT HATING ON ADA. I love Ada she's one of my favourite characters just for this fic you kinda hate her. I can’t come up with titles i swear😭
Warnings: Angst, sad, fight, implications of more than romance in a few parts.
Gif creds: @leon-jpg
----
Ada Wong. The name like poison on your tongue. The red-dressed mercenary, here one minute, gone the next. The woman, always seems to linger, like shadows on a forlorn path.
The first time you and the merc met, you were fixing him up- Leon Scott Kennedy. Ada had walked over a hint of something in those eyes. She eyed you confused, then looked over at Leon a hint of familiarity in her eyes.
They know eachother?
"Hello Leon."
"Ada...." Leon had replied, low and with a quiet grunt. He wouldn't even stare her in the eyes, only keeping those eyes on you, the person he secretly loves. Ada can tell something is going on...her eyes go to his finger no ring, then they fall onto you.
This "Ada" doesn't seem annoyed by you, though you still can't help but feel insecure next to her. She's so beautiful, her outfit clinging to her like perfection, surely Leon loves that...right?
"Well i'll be going." that's it? "see you around.".
The woman gives a wink to both of you before disappearing, and Leon rolls his eyes. He's very cute you can't help but smile a little at his reaction to this woman. Though soon you grow glum and Leon, once he turns to you, notices your change in attitude.
"She's nothing more than a friend to me."
Despite only being friends Leon takes your hand in his and gives it a reassuring squeeze. His blue eyes try and meet yours and when he's successful you note the small smile on his lips. Oh how you wanna kiss those lips so bad...
"Who...is she Leon-"
"We met in racoon." He replies not meaning to cut you off. A sigh follows and he runs a hand through his messy hair, "I was 21 at the time I told you, and she came along and turned my world upside down. As cheesy as that sounds, I liked it...liked how she made me feel. Then everything...stuff happened, and I met you, and I knew I had...found my person."-
-
After that day, one year later to be exact, you became a thing. After a kiss in the rain, his fingers running along your cheek, a question fell from the agent's lips. "be mine?" he'd whispered so softly into your ear, so softly it was almost like he could put you to sleep- not in a bad way, of course.
After spending the night together where he held you so gently and livingly, the next day he woke you up with breakfast in bed. Things only got better after that day, they seemed to be going well. Leon had gotten a promotion, you were scheduled to meet someone big for a job, and on top of that, your romantic life was pretty good.
That was...until Ada returned.
-
"I'm sorry!-"
"What a lie Kennedy.", you snap, scoffing. Dragging yourself to the half-opened supply chest you take some medicine for the headache brought on by him.
"If you were sorry you would have saved me first, not your her."
It's heartbreaking; Leon swore to you that he would always choose you, he made a promise. The two of you had gotten into a serious relationship and yet as soon as she returns it's like the past.
There was a monster. A scary, uneven limbed monster that had treaded towards the three of you. It had managed to disarm you so there was no way to grab the weapon. However it also disarmed her, Leon being the only one with a weapon still. It was choosing between the two of you to kill, you had expected Leon to run over and protect you.
He...didn't . He had run over to Ada first and protected her, while you were forced to watch. It was like someone had stabbed you in the heart and ripped said heart out, that's how much it hurt. Leon realised what he had done...he had looked over and seen your reaction, his heart breaking.
"How could you-"
"I'm sorry!"
Leon repeats, pacing the room. His hand sliding through his messy hair, his eyes to the floor- those eyes that look at you with such love now contain regret and pain.
"I-"
"No."- you cut him off with a scoff, your eyes full of tears. Tugging on the bandage of your right hand you shake your head.
"...no I...I need space-"
"Please-"
The fight only escalates from there. Leon grows angry, the two of you falling into a yelling match yet neither seem to want to say what's said. After the fight you end up storming out leaving Leon behind in tears and anger.
---
The house is dark when you return. The memory of playing monopoly the previous evening, nothing more than that- a memory. The stains on your cheeks evidence of the tears that have fallen for the past few hours. The house is cold, depressing, it makes you miss his arms around you despite being mad at him.
Memories of...that fight replay. You can barely even remember half of what was said. In the past, yeah, you've fought, just never this serious. Never in a way that threatened an end to your relationship.
With careful yet shaking fingers you take the phone off the wall and sit down on the leather couch. He used to hold you here, now all that occupies this space is one person- you. With those same shaky fingers you scroll to your photo gallery- your screen becomes wet as the heartbreak sets in.
That day you had been so happy...now you feel like dying.
"Leon!"
You scream into the empty house, sobs wracking your broken body. The phone makes a thud hitting the ground, your knees coming up to your chest. It hurts, you just wish you could go back in time and prevent the argument from happening. Both of you messed up, while you blame him for the whole fight you know you messed up too.
"LEON!"
It's pointless. Leon is never coming back to you, you'll always be lonely....although, only your brain convinces you of this. Leon never said this he only scoffed and treaded to, you're sure, the nearest bar to drown his sorrows.
Pressing your body onto the couch you close your eyes drifting off into more sorrow
Time skip
He should be at a bar, drowning his sorrows in alcohol- that's what usually happens...right? No, this time it's different. He's walking through the almost-desolate store hands full of your favorite things. "it's my fault" he says out loud not caring if he looks crazy right now.
Leon holds back his tears, while walking to the car. The non-motorbike which he would usually have, but ended up crashing, sits in the parking spot. Leon gets flashbacks of all the times you've driven around, his hand in yours, planting kisses to your cheeks.
"I'm such an idiot."
Leon loads everything into the car and hops in. Sighing softly he starts up the car and drives off to your shared home praying that you'll forgive him.
----
"I'm sorry."
His hands are around you, practically crushing you. His tears soak the white t-shirt that clings to you, his face buried so deeply. Leon is a mess which is rare since he doesn't like showing these types of emotions often.
"Baby please forgive me."
His hands shake, his heart racing so fast you can feel it.
"...was such a fool, I messed up. I didn't mean to- damn it" and like before he clings to you, except this time it's tighter. Leon holds you like he's holding the world, like if he lets you go then the "world" will disappear. He crushes you not even caring, the fear takes over anything else.
"You hurt me by choosing her."
"I know- I know baby I know"
Leon looks up at you, his lip quivering. He stares at you terrified of losing you. He runs a hand along that same scar, pressing forward to press a wet kiss to your cheek. "...i'll make it up to you I promise, ti amo." Leon brushes his stubble against your cheek- "Ti amo...ti amo tanto."
His Italian makes you swell, even though you're upset with him. It's like he's breaking down your defenses slowly yet surely, yet that fight still lingers. How you found out they slept together, the complicated yet intimate feelings they shared, the way they shared a kiss the night everything changed for him.
"If you really don't love her-"
"I don't! I stopped loving her when I fell for you."
Leon leans closer, wiping the tears from your cheeks- you never realized you started crying. He smiles weakly his hands taking yours.
"I love you. Always, baby."
Leon waits, he waits to see if you'll realise he's right. If you'll kiss him, hug him, hold him like before. The waterworks threaten to spill, you stare at him in silence....there's nothing but silence. The intimacy and heartbreak are the only emotions present right now....and Leon waits.
He waits...waits, hoping you'll forgive him- if you don't, he's not sure what he'll do. In one last attempt he mutters your name...the sound of your name on his lips...finally seeming to break you. With your left hand you raise it and touch his tear covered cheek...and with your right you wipe the tears away.
"I forgive you and I..." You sigh. "I'm still a bit upset at what you did but I...I messed up too. I love you."
Just like that Leon pulls you into a tight, "scared of letting you go" like before, kiss. He causes you to melt into the kiss, kissing back with such love and lust, almost causing a needy whine to fall from your lips. He holds you tight in his arms the kiss drawing out, something both of you desperately needed.

I don't know how to end fics istg but hope ya'll like this anyways :)

I Wish I Could Walk In Heels
Tumblr media
AN: Hello, everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I'm sorry for taking forever to update. There was moving and chaos and continued chaos that I will not be getting into, but I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience and support. It really means a lot to me that people actually enjoy my writing and my story.
With that being said, I hope this chapter is okay. I was having a hard time with it. For some reason when I'm writing it just feels like the words are so repetitive and boring. Hoping that isn't the case. Also, forgive me for any mistakes there may be. At some point when this story is all done I plan to edit things I may have missed going through the first time around. Enjoy!
Ps, my wifi kind of sucks so i couldn't veiw the gif I picked very well. Hope it's okay for all of you.
Chapter 21:
-Los Illuminados, 2004-
The relief you felt when you finally saw Ada as she hurried through the church gate was immense. The villagers had been circling the area, and were a little too close for your liking. You had, luckily, managed to keep yourself hidden.
“Ada!” You whisper-yelled, gaining her attention without the other villagers noticing. As she locked eyes with you, it was clear to you that you both were equally relieved to see each other.
“Y/n! Are you alright?” She studied your figure in search of any obvious injuries. Finding just slight scratches, she seemed satisfied enough with your current state.
“I'm fine. But I have some bad news.” A particularly loud shout from a villager nearby spooked you and made you walk further away, dragging Ada along by her arm.
“Relax, dear. I took some of the ones surrounding the area down. Only a few stragglers here and there, but they won't be any match for us.” She said calmly. It helped soothe your nerves for a moment, until you remembered the bad news you were trying to share.
“What happened?” Ada asked. “What's the bad news? I assume it has something to do with Luis, considering he isn't here with us right now.”
You sighed in defeat. “You're right. It is about Luis. He got jumped by the villagers just after I got here. I wanted to help, but there were just too many for me to even attempt to take down. He told me to wait for you to get here before we go after him. I'm sorry, Ada.”
She gently placed a hand on one of your own and squeezed it reassuringly. “Don't apologize. I don't blame you. I believe you when you say there were too many. I found out from Wesker that the heightened activity is likely due to the president's daughter being in town.” She explained. Your eyes widened.
“The president's daughter? They kidnapped her?”
Ada nodded in confirmation. “They did. And not only that. We have a friend who happens to be in Los Iluminados as well.”
A friend? Confused, you asked her, “Who?”
“You don't want to guess?” She sarcastically responded. The playful attitude and the smirk upon her face would be endearing and entertaining, if you weren't so crunched for time.
“I doubt we have time for that.”
“Not like we have many friends, dear.”
You shrugged with a nod. “Good point. Has to be…” you rack your brain, going through all your danger prone friends. Could be Jill. But you highly doubted that. Last you heard from her, she was on a mission with Chris Redfield. That was only a couple of weeks ago. Claire? You didn't think so either. It's been awhile since you've kept tabs on her, but you couldn't think of any reason on why she would be here.
“Leon?” You guessed.
“Ding ding ding, we have a winner. First guess too. I'm impressed.”
You hadn't seen Leon Kennedy since after Raccoon City, when you both had gone your own ways after he decided to risk asking the military for help. Since then, you and Ada had heard things about him here and there. How he now worked for the government as a sort of super soldier. Given his prior experience with his police training and the infected in the city, they decided he would be a valuable asset. Someone they just couldn't part with.
This was all supposed to be top secret, but your girlfriend is Ada Wong. She could get whatever information she wanted.
“He must be here for the President's daughter.”
“My thoughts exactly. I'm actually glad he is here. His presence provided a nice distraction to keep the townsfolk occupied while I made my way to the church.” She explained. Those gunshots must have been his then. Never the subtle one.
Speaking of gunshots. You and Ada both startled when you heard them once again, only this time the sound was closer.
Ada grabbed a hold of your waist with one arm and used the other to aim with her grappling hook. She hooked it to the church steeple and then you were both zipped up, landing on your feet with practiced precision.
She put away the grappling hook as the gunshots continued. “Sounds like he could use a little help.” Ada said, quickly jumping down to grab the rope to the church bell. You followed shortly after her and covered your ears in preparation of the noise.
Ada pulled the rope once and let it ring. Both of you watched as the townspeople made their way to the inside of the church. They acted as if they were in a trance. Or moths to a flame. From where you stood, Leon was just as confused by their behavior as you and Ada were.
“That's weird. How did you know that would happen?” You wondered.
Your girlfriend shrugged, “I didn't. I just figured the sudden noise would confuse them, giving him enough of a distraction to get out of there. Worked better than I thought it would.” She finished with a smirk. More of a confused, yet proud, smirk rather than amused.
With all the villagers inside, you and Ada both went to return to the mission at hand. Just before you were fully out of earshot, you heard a comment that amused you greatly.
“Where did everyone go? Bingo?” Leon snarked.
You were so unprepared for it.
“HA!” The sudden cackle that lame comment got out of you was far too loud for your comfort. And Ada's, judging by her reaction. She covered your mouth with her hand to muffle the sound, giving you a stern glare. But her lips, too, twitched with amusement.
You watched as Leon looked around for the source of the noise, but quickly moved on after having no luck.
“Don't worry, Leon. First time's free.” Ada muttered. She removed her hand from your face after she deemed it safe enough to do so. “You could have blown our cover with your unworldly cackle, my love.”
You huffed another quiet laugh. “Sorry. I just wasn't expecting it. I usually expect comments like that from you.”
Your response to her gentle, and clearly not too serious, chastising made her smile as she grabbed a hold of your waist once more and zipped you both back down to the ground. She continued the conversation once you've both landed.
“As if you don't tend to also make inappropriately timed jokes during stressful situations. I admit, I am a little jealous that he got such a reaction out of you. Should I be worried?”
Her hand gently brushed some of your hair away from your face, before dropping it back down to her side. You blushed, shaking your head and snorting at her joke.
She grinned again. “Clearly I shouldn't be. I doubt he could get such an adorable blush and a snort from you.”
Your blush deepened and you sighed. “Stop it.”
“Why? I practically live for your reactions. Don't know how I ever survived all those years without your little huffs and sighs.” Her grin turned mischievous, knowing damn well what her flirty tone and words implied.
And knowing that your blush will not go away because of it.
Evil. Ada Wong is beyond evil.
A sudden ring from the radio in Ada's possession interrupted your, admittedly, completely off track conversation. Ada frowned and answered the call.
“We just lost Luis's signal somewhere in the vicinity of the forest. Expect the worst.”
You hear Wesker drawl, frowning at the implication. You hope Luis isn't dead. Your guilt at getting distracted just a few moments ago worsened at the thought. Now wasn't the time to play around.
“That's near Méndez, isn't it? He has a house there. Could be worth taking a look.” Ada suggested. You nodded in agreement when her eyes met yours in a silent question.
“Do it. I'll see what I can find from my end.” With that, Wesker hung up the call. Ada put the radio away with a sigh.
“Should have known this entire mission would be trouble. We should get going.”
“Agreed.”
With that, you two went on with your mission, away from the church.
Clemente's Appeal
Master,
If you pay it some thought, it is unusual that Isidro let me go.
Ever since that beast in the black robe struck me with something, I have been feeling strange. I have started seeing things, having visions. The sky itself looks like that of another world.
And then, that thing comes. Only now there are many. Hundreds.
Master, I beg you! Please! Is there a way to escape this horror?
“Find anything interesting?” The sudden voice broke your concentration. You jumped, startled, looking up from the letter in your hands to Ada. She was taking anything of interest or value from the room you were in.
The room itself was creeping you out. The light fog on the floor, along with the candles and human skulls set almost casually in crates and tables, made you feel on edge. Or maybe it was just this village in general making you feel so on edge.
“A note about a beast in a black robe. I was thinking it might be the one that attacked us back at the castle.”
You paused, remembering the moment Ada covered you from the exploding substance that had, in turn, hit her. Just a couple drops, but enough to worry you after what the letter said. “You aren't seeing things, are you?”
“Seeing things?”
“You know, seeing things that aren't there. The note mentioned seeing multiple of the same beast in the black robe. And a weird sky. Did you see anything like that?” You asked, handing the note over for her to read.
She paused, avoiding eye contact with you as she took her sweet time reading the note you'd found. She can read much faster than that. Already you knew something was up.
Looking back at you, though still avoiding eye contact, she shook her head and smiled. That smile would fool anyone else into thinking everything was fine, but it didn't fool you.
“No. Haven't seen anything like that.” Her tone was off. Only slightly higher than usual.
She's hiding something.
“You're lying, Ada.” She sighed in defeat, knowing there would be no convincing you otherwise. “Tell me, what happened?”
“Truthfully… I don't know. After you left is when the visions happened. My surroundings became distorted and that black robed thing multiplied in the middle of the fight before it disappeared.”
“So you didn't kill it?”
“No. It left before I could.” Ada clarified.
“And have you seen anything weird since the fight?”
“Define weird? We're only completely surrounded by it.” She joked weakly, attempting in vain to lighten mood.
You frowned in disbelief. “Stop it. You know I don't joke when it comes to your wellbeing. Have you seen any visions of the creature since the fight?”
“No, I haven't.” She shook her head. “You know, it could have just been a one off thing.”
“Possibly.” You tiredly responded. You softened when Ada placed her hand on your shoulder, attempting to bring some sort of comfort. “Just tell me if you have any more visions.”
“Yes ma'am.” You shoved her arm in response to her sarcastic salute. She smirked and put the letter away with her other belongings.
Ada eventually led you both out to the empty town center, where there appeared to be the charred remains of a man that was quite recently burnt at the stake. The sight gave you pause.
“So, they're just burning people alive now? Is this a sacrificial offering to the Plaga or something?” You wondered out loud, not expecting an answer. Though, you still turned to face Ada when you didn't hear any comment from her.
She was looking around frantically, a slight look of fear on her, normally stoic, face.
“Ada? Are you al-” Your question was interrupted by her gripping her head in pain, stumbling in place. You immediately bolted to her and held her steady by the arms.
All too suddenly, she pushed you away and did a roundhouse kick to the air, as if something was behind her. She backed away in confusion when she realized nothing was there. “How…?”
“Ada. You're seeing it, aren't you? It's here.” You looked for it, turning around and making eye contact with the giant insectoid in the black robe behind you.
“Help me out, dear, and point me to the real one.” Ada gasped, taking her gun out, ready to destroy the creature that was messing with her head.
So, with a shotgun in hand, that is exactly what you did. You did your best to help Ada differentiate between the visions and the real deal while simultaneously avoiding the attacks it sent your way. Especially avoiding any mysterious goo it attempted to shoot your way. You both didn't need to be seeing multiple.
Finally, your teamwork weakened the beast enough for one of you to take the shot. The subtle fury on Ada's features made you allow her to do the honors. Pistol in hand, she took the shot…
And missed. How did she miss it? Ada Wong doesn't miss. Your concern grew when she dropped the gun and stumbled once more, clutching her head in pain.
Angry, you aimed the shotgun at the creature. You didn't even get the chance to pull the trigger before it slapped you with its enlarged claw, knocking you away from it. Your head ached as you crashed it with a painful slam to the ground, right next to the charred human remains.
You groaned, blinking rapidly to clear your vision and watching as the black robed creature made its escape. Forcing yourself to your feet, you quickly ran over to check on Ada.
She picked up her dropped pistol with confusion clouding her features. And, though she would never admit it, you could tell she was scared.
“What is wrong with me?” She muttered. She glanced up once she noticed your presence, backing a few paces away from you when you attempted to comfort her. “Stop. Keep some distance.”
That reaction from Ada surprised you. “Ada-”
“I don't want to hurt you.” She firmly stated. “Clearly I'm not in full control of myself. That thing stopped me from killing it somehow.”
You hummed, understanding her worries, but not wanting her to distance herself from you either. “I guess it does more than just show you things. But it's gone for now, Ada. You don't have to worry about hurting me.”
Slowly, as to not make her back away, you walked forward and grabbed her hand that wasn't holding the pistol. Nothing bad happened. You held her hand in a tighter hold. “See? Nothing. You don't have to worry so much. We'll figure this out together, okay?”
She nodded. “We will. But first, we find Luis.”

Leon S. Kennedy x Reader
Slightly NSFW but no smut
Tumblr media
"You could have called out for me, you know?" Leon said in annoyance as he accidentally put too much pressure on your wound, and you whimpered in response.
"Things can't always go well... you should know that better than anyone else", You taunted him as you put salt on his wounds. You reminded him of the event that took place a few years ago: you, Him, Claire, Sherry and Ada.
All he did was sigh in response. He didn't want to remember all the memories. He just wanted to be near you, not drive you away. You saw him sigh in guilt, pain written on his face. Poor Leon must have been in so much agony, so much pain.
"I'm sorry", you muttered in a low tone but just enough for him to hear it. He smiled as he finished patching your wound on your forearm.
"It is alright." He smiled, reminding you of the young Leon you met back then. He was so sweet and kind. He was still the same but a little more careful. You didn't want to admit it, but you adored him. You both walked to his car, ready to get to your respective houses, but something was pulling on your heart, and he told you to wait a little longer.
"Ladies first" He opened the passenger side door for you as he smirked
"Such a Gentleman" you scoffed jokingly.
There was an eerie silence between you two as you sat.
"Did you have the chip?" He began. He didn't want it to himself; he wanted to let you have it for your mission. He wanted to be on your good side.
You hummed in response as you turned your head to look at him. You smiled, admiring his features. He had grown up, and so were you; both of you are now mature and much more experienced. You'd hate to admit it, but he had also gotten much more handsome, making you want to pounce on- maybe it's the adrenaline making you feel this way.
"Good...How have you been?" He spoke softly. It was clear he missed you. Leon had forgotten what you both had. He missed the kiss you both shared at the Umbrella facility. He'd be a liar if he were to say he didn't just want to kiss you and not let you go, but he controlled himself after all; he didn't want to drive you away.
"I've been good" You smiled and kept admiring him.
"Have you had any encounter with Ada yet?" The name that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.
You didn't hate her, but you didn't like her either. After all, she was the one helping Wesker all along. She was one of the reasons for many deaths and casualties.
"No... I haven't." He sighed as he looked out the window. The dim moonlight hitting his features made him look ethereal. He also felt the bitter taste on his tongue as you spoke her name. She was someone that you both knew would haunt you forever.
"I missed you", He blurted out. He felt his cheeks burn in embarrassment, but it was hard for him to hold it in much longer. The more time you were around him, the more his skin burned to be on yours. He hated this feeling, but he also loved it.
You tilted your head wide-eyed, and your cheeks heated up as you realised what he had said. You grabbed his collar as you smashed your lips against his, earning a gasp from him. He didn't understand what had happened, but when he did, he kissed you back with the same passion and longing. And desire. God, you tasted so good, and he just wanted more and more from you. He snaked his arms around your waist as he unclasped the seat belt while still kissing you, making it easier to pull you closer to him.
He bit your lip as you moaned against his lips, and he took this opportunity to slide his tongue inside. His hands went lower to your ass as he lifted you and made you sit on his lap. He paused as he moved back to look at your blissed-out face. Both of you were breathing heavily, wanting more, needing more. How long have you both been apart? If he knew how you'd make him feel, he could have done this right then with you.
You cursed under your breath, wanting to get more of him. As soon as he heard you swear, a surge of heat spread throughout his body. He knew he might never see you again if he let you go tonight. He wanted to keep you in his life, and you were the one for him.
“Do you want to get out of here?” He said, unsure if you'll accept. The night was still young, and you knew you wouldn't let him get away so quickly, either. He grinned and started the car, driving you away to a night full of unpacking.

ILY2 (Leon x reader) pt.2
You pressed through the crowd pleading with them to let you get out of there. People shot weird looks in your direction but the only thing you cared about was getting the hell out of there. The shame you felt trailing behind you the entire time. You couldn't get rid of that look on his face. He looked sad?
"Oh my god!" A familar voice shrieked. You looked up from your trance. In front of you stood a red faced anrgy Ada wong.
"What're doing soldier girl! You ruined my new dress." She hissed at you trying to clean up the stain on her dress. You clenched your fists together tightly.
soldier girl?
How could he love someone like her? What does he find about her that makes her so much better than me.
"You don't deserve him." It was quiet at first. But when you looked up at that ridiculous look on her face you wanted so badly to hit her.
"What did you just fucking say to me?" She moved in closer to you trying to make herself seem intimidating.
"He could do so much better than you Ada." It was probably the way you were so focused on trying not to punch Ada that you hadn't noticed his dirty blonde hair in the crowd.
"So that's what this is about?" She laughed when she finally understood. But it was such a bitter sound it made you want to cut off your ears. You glared at her, you'd forgotten the way your nails had been digging deeper into the skin on your palm.
"I guess it won't hurt to share our surprise a bit early wouldn't it Leon?" At that moment you finally realized him in the mix of the people. Claire was behind you, trying to see what was happening.
"Last night Leon proposed to me!" She shouted with the smugest look on her face. The way she won him over made you feel like crying. And you did. In front of everyone who rushed towards her to congratulate them.
You wanted so badly to disappear. You felt so much shame. It hurt the way Leon frowned at you. It was so overwhelming everything was happening to quickly. So you left. Running through the people just to be able to breathe. As soon as you got outside you started gasping for air but you couldn't stop there, you needed to get as far away as possible. You headed to the one spot you knew you could relax.
"Leon are you sure you know where we're going?" The path had long been eaten away by plants and nature.
"C'mon y/n don't you trust me!" He placed his arm around your shoulder, squeezing you to him in the process. You spun your head in the other direction to hide the pink color settling on your cheeks. He lifted an eyebrow but decided not to press you about it. When he stopped and released you from his embrace you turned to look at what caught his attention.
"Wow." You were in awe. It was a beautiful spot next to a tiny stream of water. There were so many flowers that were sprinkled all around the water.
"Sooo... does this make up for me forgetting your birthday?" He smiled shyly. You glared at him but it didn't last long before you erupted in giggles.
how could I be mad at him?
You calmed yourself down and smiled at him softly.
"You know, this just might." You whispered in a voice so quiet he wouldn't hear. You admired the beautiful hanging vines.
"Well, there's one more thing." He walked over to a bulky-looking object that was concealed under a white blanket. He removed the covering and revealed a wooden bench underneath. There were some childish engravings of what looked like... a police badge?
"Your gift!" He said proudly.
"it took me a while to make and A LOT of Chris's help but you know-" You stopped him mid-sentence bandaging your arms around his slim waist. He looked down and patted your head.
"Don't cry Y/n you deserve this."
It was too sudden. I couldn't react the way I wanted to. In that moment when I felt her lips on mine I wanted to kiss her back, but the urge to do the right thing was too strong. Is that why I pushed her away? Even if my heart told me to hug her and never let her leave my arms. I should've called her name, told her to stay and tell me what it meant. How could I? My fiance is downstairs waiting to announce to everyone that we're getting married in july and I'm up here on the balcony not able to stop myself from thinking about kissing Y/n. When I got back it seemed there was some kind of argument. When I saw how sad she looked it made me so mad. It was all my fault.
"You don't deserve him."
That's what she said and I heard it as clear as day. She was talking about me. I must be the biggest fool on planet Earth to not have noticed her feelings.
"What did you just fucking say to me?"
Ada was being so aggressive while Y/n just stood there staring.
"He could do so much better than you Ada."
Ada had pulled to the side after Y/n ran out.
"Aren't you excited for the wedding my love?"
My stomach lurched.
"It'll be the perfect time of year and my famil-"
"I don't want to marry you."
I couldn't muster up any remorse for her when tears filled Ada's eyes because I knew she wasn't as hurt as y/n was.
"W-What? Are you serious? All because of that girl?"
"That's just it Ada, she isn't some girl she's everything to me and I feel so stupid that it took me this long to realize it."
"But we're perfect for each other! You can't- I won't let you"
"I always felt like something was off in our relationship and I never understood until now that you're just not the one for me."
Before she could argue with me I left. I ran straight to Y/n's house but when there wasn't any answer at the door I knew exactly where she was. To make things worse it started to rain.
In the glow of the cheap fairy lights you sat, crying. Sitting on the floor you leaned your head against the bench Leon had made for you. Knowing your luck you weren't surprised that it had started to rain.
"Of course" You groaned sobbing even more. The mud seeping into your dress. All you wanted was to be alone and forget everything. The rain poured harder until, suddenly, it stopped. You looked up, your eyes meeting a pair of blue ones.
"L-Leon?" You asked sniffling. He smiled down at you before reaching out to wrap his strong arms around you and placing you on his lap. He was so warm.
"Why are you her-?"
"We're not getting married Y/n," You let out the biggest sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry Leon I didn't mean to ruin your relationship." You apologized.
He laughed.
"How are you so sweet Y/n" He whispered in your ear.
"But Ada- You love her?"
"No, it's you Y/n its always been you." Your heart melted. You pulled away from him to look him in the eyes. His hair was wet and strands stuck to his forehead. You reached up and moved the hair away from his face.
"Can I kiss you?" He asked softly. When you nodded he brought his hand up to your cheek and kissed you gently.
"I'm sorry that I'm such a fool Y/n" His hand didn't leave your face.
"It's okay Leon ... " You said even though you knew it wasn't.
"No, it's not you've always been by my side and I can't thank you enough for treating me so well." His eyes were such a pretty color in the moonlight.
"I really love you y/n l/n" He placed his head on your shoulder, and the pair of you stayed like this the rest of the night.
LMAO I didn't think people would like this story but here you go,

Pink In The Night
Aeon (Ada x Leon) Smut and Angst Modern AU
Tumblr media
“Am I gonna see you again?” Leon asked, sitting up in bed. Ada was just getting up, her naked body shining in the moonlight. She was pulling on one of Leon’s shirts.. it was big on her but she didn’t mind. Neither did Leon. He loved seeing Ada wearing his clothes.
She looked at him blankly. “Leon.”
“Ada,” he replied.
She walked over to him and gave him a passionate kiss, slipping her tongue in between his slightly parted lips. Leon held her face gently, wanting more and groaning as she pulled away.
“Is that a yes?” he asked.
All Ada did was smirk and shrug as she grabbed her things and left.
The next day Leon was at the bar, per usual. Drinking away his sorrows. He just wanted to forget everything. Racoon city, especially. Where he met her, where he kissed her, where he saved her, and where he lost her. He hated to think about her.. but it was the only thing he had left. Ashley would come and check on Leon occasionally, which was nice but not nearly enough.
“Another, please..” Leon’s words started to slur together as he slowly got drunker and drunker. He mumbled a ‘thank you’ as the bartender gave him another shot of tequila. He downed it quickly as wiped his mouth.
An hour or two passed and he was one of the only people left in the bar. Still drinking, still sad, still lonely.
“We’re closing up soon,” the bartender said as she washed a glass.
Leon sighed, “I’ll be out soon..” his cheeks were a rosy red and eyes hooded.
He heard someone enter the bar, and heels clicking.
“Leon,” a familiar voice said. Leon whipped his head around and his eyes lit up as he saw her. The same woman he’d been trying to forget about. The same woman he yearned for.
“Ada..” he mumbled.
She smiled to the bartender. “A friend,” she stated and the bartender nodded. She took Leon by the arm. “You’re drunk on a Tuesday.”
“It’s not Tuesday..” Leon stumbled a little as Ada helped him up.
Ada frowned. “It is.” She took him to her car, an expensive one. Of course her job allowed her to get it. Her job was her top priority… which she disliked but there wasn’t anything she could to about it. Even if it meant leaving Leon wishing for more.
As Ada drived to his apartment, Leon sneaked looks at her. Admiring her beauty, he noticed every single detail in her face. How her lips were glossy. He knew she recently applied that cherry lipgloss that drove him crazy. He inhaled deeply, the familiar smell of her rich perfume. It was stuck in his sheets. Secretly he loved it.
Ada helped him out the car, he clung to her like a lost child. She unlocked his apartment and poured him a glass of water. “Sit down on the couch, Leon,” she ordered. He obeyed, of course. He always does what he’s told. Especially if it’s Ada giving him orders. Being drunk didn’t help his case whatsoever..
Leon finished the glass of water and Ada went to leave, her hand grazing the doorknob. Leon quickly got up and grabbed her arm. “Stay,” he whispered desperately. “Please.”
Ada’s breath hitched at his cold touch. Her hand left the doorknob and turned to Leon, touching his face instead. She moved hair out of his face. Oh, how she loved his hair. It was her favorite part of him, besides his eyes.
Leon leaned into her touch. “I hate when you leave,” he started getting emotional. Alcohol really does have an effect on him. Especially when Ada was there, touching him like this. “I want you. I want all of you. I don’t- I don’t care about your job, Ada. I love you. I will always love you. I have always loved you. Everytime you left, everytime you stayed. I just want to wake up to you here next to me. Once.”
She didn’t know how to react. She’s never heard these words from him… ever. He’s never told her he’d loved her. She nodded. “Okay.”
Leon smiled brightly. “Okay.”
Ada pulled him into a gentle, soft kiss. Leon returned it just as soft. Ada led him into his bedroom, the scent of him satisfying her. She loved it. She craved it.
Leon pulled away to admire Ada for a split second, before kissing her cheek, trailing kisses down her neck. She gasped softly as he left small hickeys on her neck that she always had to cover at work by wearing turtlenecks.
Her hands reached his hair as she breathed heavily. Leon groaned at she pulled it.
Leon’s hands went straight to her waist. Pulling her closer and feeling every inch of her body burning against his.
“Leon,” Ada whispered. Leon hummed. He knew what she wanted, he wanted the exact same.
He finished leaving love bites on her neck and picked her up, looking into her eyes as he put her on the bed. He crawled on top of her, leaning down and kissing her as his hand reached down to the bottom of her dress. He lifted it up slowly, Ada shivered at the feeling of it dragging against her skin.
He grazed his fingers against the inside of her thigh, reaching her panties. He pulled them aside, touching her clit. With two fingers, he lazily drew circles. Ada signed into his mouth, holding his face and deepening their kiss.
Leon went further down. He pulled away from the kiss and put a finger inside of her, watching her mouth fall open and gasp. He looked at her in a way he could never look at anyone else. She was ethereal. She was beautiful, being pleasured. He loved soft sex like this because he could appreciate all of Ada.
She moaned quietly as he slowly pumped his finger in and out of her. One shortly turned into two, and Ada was begging for more. Leon obliged, wanting to give her everything. That’s all he’s ever wanted.
He slid her underwear off of her elegeant legs. He kissed her thigh as her panties slid past them.
Ada brought Leon’s face back up and kissed him lovingly. She sat up and turned around, letting Leon unzip her dress. Leon pressed wet kissed on her shoulders as he unzipped his own pants. Ada turned back to face him and lifted his shirt up, taking all of his body in. Her hands traced scars on his chest and stomach, then leaned in to kiss them. She loved to kiss his scars, to remind him he healed. That she could heal him. And she did just that, by simply being here. Treating Leon as he should be treated. The only problem was that she left before he could heal her.
Leon backed up against the bed frame as Ada took his boxers off. He sighed as she wrapped her fingers around his cock, pumping him slowly. She spread the precum leaking from his tip with her thumb. Leon’s head fell back.
Once Ada was done, she straddled Leon. She made sure to see his face as she grabbed his dick and aligned it up with her opening. They moaned in unison and she took him all inside her. Leon wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer. Ada put her head on his shoulder, then started to move. She moaned each time she went back down, loving the feeling of him inside of her. Leon’s breath became shaky as she picked up her speed. His hands went to her thighs, lifting them ever so slightly to make things easier for her.
Ada lifted her head up to see Leon’s expression. It was a fucking sight. A sight she loved dearly. To see that he felt just as good as she did… she loved it. She began rocking forward a little bit, causing Leon to moan. She always tried to get him to be vocal with her, for it turned her on even more.
As Ada clenched down onto him, he began matching her rythm, thrusting up into her. Leon studied her face while her head tilted back, moaning loudly. He could’ve sworn he was fucking a goddess. That’s how he saw her, that’s how he always saw her.
“Leon,” Ada gasped.
“Ada..”
“Leon I..” she said inbetween moans and gasps, “I love you. I always have.”
This pushed Leon even further His thrusts became erratic and he went faster. He got sloppier as he grew closer and closer to release. He knew Ada was too, for the way she moaned and clenched down on him.
She moaned his name as she came, and Leon rode out her orgasm, causing her to stop moving her hips. Leon thrusted into her relentlessly, chasing his own orgasm. Quickly, he pulled out and his cum shot out and onto his stomach. They both sat there for a second, catching their breath. Ada collapsed onto him, smearing his cum onto her chest. Leon ran his fingers through her hair.
Gently, he lifted Ada off of him and layed her down. He got up to grab a towel. He cleaned himself up then Ada. She smiled as she felt the towel press against her skin, she cupped his cheek as he cleaned her. He smiled back at her.
Once he was done, he climbed in bed next to her, laying his head on her chest as she held him tightly. There was a comfortable silence as she played with his hair.
Leon was the one to speak up first.
“I want to go further with you. I don’t just want to be your… your pawn. I want to be yours. Just yours. Your boyfriend.”
Ada giggled, “You can be my boyfriend, Leon. I’m all yours. I’ve always been yours.” She kissed the top of of his head.
A sigh of relief left Leon as he nuzzled into her chest. “I love you, Ada.”
“I love you, Leon.”

You Know I’m No Good.
Tumblr media
Paring: Ada Wong x Leon s Kennedy
words: 3.9k
warnings: 18+ This is smut !! (Blowjob, slight praise kink, slight mommy kink, chair sex, riding, mildly dubious consent)
summary: The sounds of fire and footsteps echoed throughout the halls of the castle. Leon observed the pegan architecture as he moved. He couldn’t believe that he let himself lose Ashley. His mind was a whirlwind of emotions but he knew there was no time to focus on any of that. Even if there was time, it’s not like he wanted to focus on it.. He noticed a door up ahead and began running toward it. He had no idea what would lie behind it… Will something or other, someone help Leon relieve his stress?
Or…
Ada fucks Leon in a chair to help him relieve stress.
notes: Hii ! This is my first fully fledged fan fiction that I have ever actually written and omgg it took me days. I’m going to try to post more on this account but it may be hard due to the upcoming school year. Feel free to give me constructive criticism in the comments ! Anything overly hateful will be deleted.
Anyway …. Thank you so much for reading !!
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Ada roamed the halls of the castle in pursuit of ingredients. Luis needed certain items in order to make a las plagas suppressant and she was the one who had to retrieve them.
Despite the ingredients being her current main object at the moment, she had a personal goal of her own. She knew Leon was somewhere close by. Luis gave her all the information she needed and she was determined to find him.
She hadn’t seen the boy in six years, ever since he was that young rookie cop. She beat herself up for not banging him the second she had the chance and was determined to make up for that deprivation of time. She hoped he was as inexperienced as he was before. She wanted to change his life.
The thought of Leon being angry at her was something she knew would become a reality the moment they faced one another. She wanted to communicate with him as soon as possible but that proved to be rather difficult with her monster of a boss on her back.
She let out a relieved sigh as she stood in front of the last ingredient. It was simply stashed away in a small wooden and glass enclosure. She opened it and kept the appropriate items before moving away.
She stood in the middle of the room… Her ears perked up as she heard footsteps outside of the chamber she found herself in. She gently bit her lip and frantically looked around for an escape. She hoped the sound came from Leon but there was no way she could be sure till she seen for herself. She noticed a window and decided that would make for a perfect exit.
Before she could even more her legs toward the opening she heard the sound of Leon’s communication equipment. The loud static noise told her all she needed to know. The corners of her lips couldn’t help but curve into a smirk. Now would be her chance to make up for Raccoon city.
She walked toward the window quickly and quietly. Once there, she got up onto the sill and peered out. She noticed a room decently distanced from the current one. she chuckled as Leon’s footsteps grew closer to the entrance of the room. Right before he entered she shot her grapplinghook towards the nearby chamber and was swiftly dragged away.
As Leon entered the space, it was now empty. Not a trace of Ada was left behind besides the sweet smell of her Miss Dior Perfume.
Leon released a drawn out sigh as he wiped the sweat off his brow. He just solved the puzzle necessary to open the door ahead and decided maybe it was time to take a small break.
He had been sent to Spain on a mission to retrieve the presidents daughter. He had never been on a mission to this caliber before… The former rookies life quickly skyrocketed after the incidents in Raccoon city, swiftly working up the ranks in government organizations, getting him to the position he was in at this moment.
Anxiety flooded the mans senses. He had been uneasy since Ashley Graham had been taken from him by the cult. These overwhelming emotions clouding his judgement is what brought him to the decision to take a break. Typically, he’d proceed on no matter what.
He stood in front of the now open passage way, hands rested on his hips. His heart rate was quite high despite the calm outlook he maintained. The only crack in his facade being his quickened breathing.
As he stared into the corridor before him, attempting to pull himself together. He heard a ‘zippp’ sound coming from toward the window. A twinge of suspicion grew within him causing him to turn around with a brow raised. A confused expression covering his face.
Despite the sound, he noticed nothing unusual. He noted the weird occurrence and turned back around. He still needed to calm his nerves a little more before proceeding.
When he finally felt at ease enough to carry on, He took one step forward and stopped. A certain smell hit his nose. The smell had filled the room when he originally walked in. It was way too floral and sweet to belong to a place like this. Originally he just assumed it to be Ashley’s scent but the smell flooded back memories of a certain someone… ‘Ada Wong..’ he thought to himself. The thought of that woman brought those same feelings of dread and anxiety right back into his body but also struck new ones that made him feel even more uneasy. She made him anxious while simultaneously making his pants tight.
He scoffed. ‘She’s not here… She can’t be here!’ He told himself over and over again. The seconds he stood in front of that short corridor felt like hours. He couldn’t believe this beautiful spy could strike such emotions within him.
A sigh past his lips before spinning around on his heels to finally face whatever was causing that aroma. Before anything could even be registered in his mind, he came face to face with the end of Ada Wong’s pistol. He almost gasped from the shock.
“Wouldn’t make me wanna use this, would you Handsome?” She asked cockily with a smile. Her head slightly tilted to the side. She was putting up a hostile front but in reality had no intention to hurt the boy in front of her. Her finger wasn’t even resting on the weapons trigger. The moment the words left her lips, his SG-09R hit the floor.
After a brief moment of silence, Leon began to shake his head. “After six  years, that is one hell of a greeting.” He raised his arms in a fake sign as surrender. “Ada.” Her name rolled off his tongue as if it was profanity.
He couldn’t deny the anger that was gnawing at him.  As much as he loved Ada and wanted to crawl back to her like a lost puppy, She left and there was no changing that.
“You don’t seem surprised… Interesting.” She spoke, her head tilted slightly as she concentrated on pointing her weapon. A smug smirk now decorated her beautiful face.
With those words, Leon’s anger finally boiled over. As his adrenaline and emotions amplified, he couldn’t take it anymore. Leon pushed her back causing the pair to spin around. Once back to their feet, He Swung his knife at her. She leaned back dodging it, the smug smirk still on her face. He gritted his teeth. Despite all sense of rationality he felt himself wanting to turn this fight into something more. Her expression drove him wild. How could she be smiling at a time like this and why did he want to crawl back to her?
He swung his knife once again. She dodged it, yet again. The two fought rhythmically and synchronized as if they weren’t even trying to hurt each other, which at heart they truly weren’t. He attempted to swing the knife at her once more but she caught his arm. She attempted to kicked him but he countered the attack by grabbing her high-heeled ankle. While he could, for the split-second he had.. he admired her legs.. Although this was a fight he couldn’t help his mind wondering elsewhere..
This little adrenaline filled battle between the two of them felt like it was lasting hours. The tension in the air simmered.. it was hard to decipher if said tension was sexual or aggression. Once he pushed her leg away from him, she spun around and attempted to aim her weapon at him once more. With a decent amount of force he pushed her against the wall. She let out a pained groan as she hit the wall. In a swift motion he grabbed her wrist with one hand and used the other to push his blade against her throat, pinning her against the wall.
Ada let out a soft groan as the blade hit her flesh. Leon didn’t press hard enough to actually cut her but the feeling of cold, sharp metal against her skin was enough to make her uncomfortable. Her gaze lingered on the floor, not making eye contact with the man before her out of embarrassment.
They both remained silent for a moment as they caught their breath. Ada had been quite winded after being slammed against the wall. She could feel her cheeks growing red and warm the longer they stood in this stance. She needed to find a way to take control.
“Try using knives next time. Better for close encounters.” Leon spat, breaking their brief moment tranquility, if you could call it that.
Ada rolled her eyes before finally turning to face him. The blush that once spread across her cheeks was now gone. “Not a bad move.” She wore a superior expression as she spoke. “Very smooth…” her voice always held a provocative undertone that he couldn’t ignore.
“So who are you working for this time?” Leon asked as he looked her up and down searching for some sort of truth or crack in her cold demeanor.
A chuckle past her lips. “Oh Leon,” she paused. “You know I don’t work and tell.” In spite of the grin on her face, she didn’t even want to think of the monster she was operating under.
He scoffed and finally pulled away from her, stashing away his knife as he made some distance between them. “Why are you here, Ada?”
“I know you’re stressed handsome” she stated as she stood against the wall she was once pinned to. Her tone was cocky yet seductive almost as if she was trying to coerce him into something. She gently rubbed her neck in the spot where the knife formally was.
“What does that have to do with anything?” He asked not denying anything. The tone of voice she held made Him worry. It brought an entirely new meaning to the words she spoke. As much as he hated to admit it, this was making the anger he held for her be pushed aside.
Ada pushed herself off the wall and began walking towards him. “Don’t you remember the promise I made to you back in Raccoon city?” Her heels clicked against the floor as she grew closer to him. The thought of what happened between them back then made Leon grow a bit red.
“Ada I-…”
“Oh Leon.. Let me give you the greeting I never did back then.”
The agents face immediately became red. Although he was no virgin in fact rather the opposite. He was quite the hopeless romantic. Nonetheless, Being in Ada Wong’s presence made him feel like a complete virgin all over again. She stood right in front of him, leaving little to no distance amongst the two.
“The girl isn’t going anywhere, Leon. It’ll be okay.” She reassured before wrapping her arms around his waist. He couldn’t even manage to think of a response in the moment… Beyond his better judgment, he just blindly listened to her. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her parted lips. He’d be a fool to kiss her but he was falling into her trap hook line and sinker.
She noticed his wondering eyes and chuckled. She knew it was only a matter of time before he finally gave in. She leaned in forward, her face drawing closer to his. Her lips hovered over his, she hesitated waiting for him to decide if he wanted this or not.
Without a second guess, he took his opportunity. Leon cupped the back of her head, finally bringing their mouths together. The scenarios that he had been jerking off to for the past few years were finally becoming a reality! (Expect the mommy parts)
Leon’s mind went blank as their lips danced. He couldn’t even comprehend that this was real. He hated himself for how much of a puppy he became whenever she was around. Ada pulled his shirt up and over his head. “We’re doing this here?” He asked weakly as he looked down at her. Her small hands were now working away at his belt.
“Yes, Here.” She reiterated sternly while looking up at him. As he looked down at her he couldn’t help but feel his pants getting tighter. The sight of Ada in this position was enough to make any man melt.
“If you say so-“ Thank god he didn’t utter the “yes ma’am” that was about to pass his lips. Ada pushed Leon into a nearby chair. He groaned when his back hit the cold wood although he was far too aroused to worry about the discomfort of the seat. The click of her heels as she walked towards him made the organ in his pants pulse. He was growing rather impatient.
She slowly removed her dress while standing before him revealing her matching red lace bra and panties. The lingerie she wore left very little to the imagination, her pink nipples peeked behind the red translucent fabric. He watched her hungrily. He was practically drooling at the mouth just waiting to touch her yet he waited like a good boy.
She got onto her knees in front of him. The bulge was practically begging to be touched. She bit her lip peering down at it, Her soft slender hands ran over the sensitive area. “Ada-“ He whined out looking down at her with big pleading eyes. He couldn’t handle much teasing, especially not from her. He’d cover the inside of his cargo pants in cum with any more of this.
“Fine, You’ve Been a good Boy.” She stated finally giving in to his pleas, voice dripping with desire. The praise repeated over and over again in his head, how could such a petite woman make him feel so small with such simple words. Her hands rested on his waist, thumbs tucked into his waistband as an invitation to undressing him. Like an obedient little puppy he slightly lifted his hips making it easier to slide off his pants.
Ada smirked, scanning the boy in front of her, her eyes fixed on his now exposed erection. It twitched and leaked pre-cum, A bead seeping out of his tip. His pants hung around his calves. It was no surprise that Leon was big but she wasn’t expecting him to be that big. If she had to guess he was at least eight and a half inches. She bit her lip in awe and anticipation. Leon looked away in embarrassment. His ears were warm and red. She licked her palm. Using the saliva as lubricant, She gave his cock a tug. He responded with a whimper. “Stop teasing, Ada..”
“You can take it, handsome” She leaned forward and placed a gentle lick on his tip before taking it into her mouth. An unexpected gasp passed his lips. His hips squirmed from the warm, wet feeling. This entire mission had stressed him out so much that he forgot how good things felt. Ada taking his length down her throat brought him back to reality more than any deep breathing techniques ever could. Secretly he was glad she found him and decided to have her way with him.
The room filled with breathy moans and slight slurping sounds. She used one hand to stroke the shaft of his cock, with her mouth she continued to bob her head up and down taking more and more of his length into her throat until she was practically Deepthroating him.
Leon wasn’t all that surprised at her skills. She was perfect in every other aspect, why wouldn’t she be in this one? His legs were beginning to shake from the overwhelming sensation. An urge to pull her hair plagued his mind even so he wouldn’t dare touch the woman’s hair. Part of it was not wanting to ruin her sheer perfection… the other part was not wanting her to stop or scold him.
He threw his head back A loud moan filling the room, hips bucking from the pleasure. If she kept going for any longer he was going to cum. His hands rested on the sides of his thighs, tightly grabbing the white flesh. Bruises would probably cover the surface later on in the day.
“A-Ada..” Thank god the words “mommy” didn’t slip out. “I-I’m gonna cum..” He spoke between groans barely even being able to speak at that.
Nearly as soon as he spoke she pulled away from his sex wiping away the spit and precum with her forearm. “No way You’re getting away from me that easily, Leon.” She looked up at him with a glint in her eye akin to a predator eyeing down its prey. The way she eyed him only made his arousal grow.
Leon closely watched her like a deer in headlights, wet cock in hand as she reached her hands back and unhooked the clasp. The red lace bra fell off of her chest and into her hands revealing her breasts. They were perfect. Her pretty pink nipples sat on the peak of her breast pointing slightly upward. He couldn’t pry his eyes away from her.
“See something you like?” She asked in a preverse tone with a small chuckle as she stood up. “Yes Ma’am..” he uttered, not believing he actually said that aloud, while looking up at her with his mouth agape. The agent was still in such shock that this was all happening.
Ada placed herself in his lap at a propped up position. Her breasts landed eye-level with him. Before any rational thinking could get to him, he leaned forward wrapping his lips around one of her lush nipples. The other hand occupied itself by playing with the other nipple, squeezing and rolling the sensitive bud.
She gasped looking down at Leon and watching in astonishment. The feeling made her let out small moans. In spite of the pleasure, her hole was aching. She needed to feel him deep inside of her.
As Leon continued sucking her breasts, occasionally alternating between the two, She began slowly moving her hips back and forth. The moist cloth on her sheer panties clung to her folds. He hummed against her breast, the feeling of her fabric covered clit against his erection was enough to make him climax. He was such a baby for her.
Her hand rested on the back of his head tightly gripping his hair. Her moans were loud enough to spill into the hallway of the castle. She hoped nobody nearby could hear. As they continued in this position, Leon biting and sucking her tits like a needy child, Ada relentlessly rubbing her clit against his erection, her arousal grew more and more. The desire to feel him was taking over her senses.
Leon pulled away from her tits with a deep breath. Any more of this and the pair would both explode. “I can’t take any more of this..” he muttered between breaths. As much as the desire to be a good boy riddled his mind, he needed to be inside of her.
Without a thought he grabbed her hips, stopping her movement. In a swift motion he pulled the fabric of her panties to the side and pushed his length deep into her hole, hands resting on her curves gently pushing her down, his hips slightly raised.  The pair both let out a loud moan.
“Such a needy boy.” She stated between breaths while moving her hands to rest on his chest as she adjusted to his size. “I’ll give you what you want, Handsome.” With that, she slowly lifted up and sat back down. His shaft sinking into her.  He stifled a moan.
Ada continued rising and sinking down onto his cock, moving faster and faster with each passing. Leon’s noises increased in volume as she did in speed. His hands remained tightly gripped onto her hips, she’d have trouble explaining those marks to her boss later. She moved her hands to gently rest atop of his, almost as if she was guiding him.
Her pace eventually sped up to a quite unforgiving one. She could practically feel him brushing against her cervix. His legs shook, eyes tightly shut. The sounds of his moans and pleas were the sound of accomplishment to her. She loved making men melt in her hands, turning out vanilla men was a sport for her. It was a plus that he was already such a puppy for her.
The pair were both a groaning mess. The pressure against her cervix was bringing her closer and closer to climax with each stroke. She wouldn’t be lasting much longer.
She fluttered her walls against him. They were both close. As the speed grew a little faster, they were both pushed over the edge.
Ada’s walls tightened against his cock as she reached her climax. Her head flew back and one of her hands found itself intertwined with the boy’s hair. She cried out, using a hand to cover her mouth and muffle her moans.
As she began slowly coming down from her orgasm, she felt Leon fill her with cum. She tightened around him one more time, wanting to completely drain him. Throughout the entire orgasm, and sex, he was a complete whiny mess.
“Thats my good boy.” She lifted up her hips and used her hand to pull him out of her before collapsing on top of him, lying against his chest. Blush now lightly covered his cheeks from the praise. His head still leaned back, eyes closed.
After a moment of the two of them just sitting there, catching their breath. Ada finally dismounted him, getting up from his lap. She adjusted the panties that were previously pushed to the side then walked over to where her clothes lied on the floor, picking them up to put them back on.
With a heavy sigh, Leon got up from the chair he was previously fucked on. He was absolutely more level-headed now compared to how he felt when he originally entered the room although he felt himself being a bit sorrowful that it was over. He pulled up and adjusted the boxers and pants he formerly wore as if nothing happened.
“We best get moving, Leon.” She stated while adjusting the straps of her dressed, now back fully dressed.
“Yeah..” sigh “I know..” He put his shirt and the rest of his gear back on.  “That was a greeting worth waiting for..” he muttered with a small smile while looking over at her.
She smiled and walked back toward him, Her legs were a bit wobbly. Maybe heels weren’t the best idea. She placed a gentle kiss on his lips. “Keep being good for me and there’s more where that came from.” The wink she gave him sent a shiver down his spine. If she kept talking like this he’d get hard all over again…
Before he could wrap his arms around her she turned and walked towards the window. “I believe this is where we go our separate ways, handsome.”
A pain struck in his heart. “Yeah.. I know..”
“You’ll see me again.” She reassured stepping up onto the sill. She could feel a little discomfort rising in her core, she definitely should’ve worn different shoes.
“i hope so..” he muttered as she aimed her grappling hook towards something nearby, he couldn’t tell what, and zipped away.
He stared out the window for a moment lingering on her presence, trying to process all of what just happened.
He shook his head and proceeded forward on the original path. He’d just have to jerk off to this whole experience in the shower later.

Tumblr media
Wounds from Lickers, Zombies, spare glass shards, and god only knows what covered your body. You looked like a wreck who was tired and a little dead inside, but it was over. You made it out of that hellhole they called Raccoon City and were now onto a new, and hopefully better life.
"I could really use a shower," Claire laughed, picking a stick out of Sherry's hair.
"Tell me about it." You agreed, wiping what you couldn't tell was dirt or sewage off of your shoulder. You felt disgusting, but you knew that whenever you got to a shower that it was going to be the best shower of all time.
You and Claire were lucky you could still be laughing and smiling after everything that happened. And Leon... well, he had been through hell and back with it being his first day as a cop and all. You felt bad for him. He went through loss after loss and you had no clue what to say.
He was sitting in the corner of the train cart, crying. You wanted more than anything to go cheer him up or something, but how on Earth were you supposed to do that.
Apparently though, Claire saw that you were eyeing the crying cop and nudged your arm with her elbow, signaling that you should probably go talk to him. She and Sherry decided to head to another cart to look around a bit.
You took a deep breath and walked over to the blonde boy, putting your hand on his back. "You were very brave out there," you told him in a soft voice, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear.
He looked up at you a little shocked, tears staining his puffy red eyes. "No way. If anything you were the bravest here. Me and Claire were kinda prepared for anything, but you? You were just living life and got sucked into this shit."
"But I'm okay now. And you're okay! We did great out there!"
Leon just nodded and stared off into space, little tears flowing down his cheeks.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" You asked.
Leon turned to you again. Seeing him cry was about to make you cry.
"It's my fault she's gone."
"Who? Ada?" You had stuck with Leon his whole mission helping him through stupid puzzles and beating the shit out of psycho dogs. Ada was someone you met on the mission and immediately got a bad vibe from. You knew she wasn't FBI when you met her, you just didn't have the heart to tell Leon. He really seemed to like that girl. And it didn't matter how jealous you were in the little tram where she kissed him.
Leon nodded, tears welling back up in his eyes. "I could've pulled her up if I didn't get so hurt. She's gone now... because of me."
You put your hand on Leon's back. "Leon, look, she was a crazy mercenary, there's a huge, like GIANT chance that she's okay. She probably had a grappling hook in her bra or something."
That actually made Leon laugh a bit, which surprised you. "How's your arm?" You asked, wanting to quickly change the subject.
"Better." He stretched out his arm, which took some work, but he barely winced.
"Good!" You smiled and gave Leon one more check over to make sure he wasn't in any more need for medical attention. "It looks way better!"
"Yeah, well injuries always look better than they feel." Leon chuckled and sat back to be more comfortable. None of you knew where this train was going to lead, but you were just happy to know that you would be out of that awful town.
"You're really strong, you know that?" Leon told you.
You were shocked to hear that if you were being honest, so you turned to Leon with red cheeks. "Where did that come from?"
"I mean, I already explained it earlier, come on! You've been through a lot with me. Thanks for that."
You just nodded, still thinking about Ada. You were never the jealous type, but all of the sudden you were and it was pissing you off. I mean, you couldn't blame all the ladies around you for liking Leon as much as you did because oh my god, he was perfect. He wanted to protect everyone, was kind, empathetic, and cute as fuck. He was everything anyone wanted in a partner and you were just mad that Ada got her hands on him first.
"I can't wait to get some nice clean clothes." Leon sighed, pulling you out of your mind.
"Right?!" Even thinking about the warm embrace of a blanket was making you cozy, but clean clothes? That sounded like heaven right then.
"I found a crap ton of money at the station and that should be enough to get us a couple of hotel rooms and some clean clothes until we find something better." Leon pulled out wads of cash and your jaw dropped. You knew that some of the zombies would have cash on them and you had to admit, you did take some, but you weren't expecting Leon, the cute cuddly rookie, to take any.
"Leon, did you steal that?!"
His face flushed bright red. "I-I.... They.... I just.... We needed it and uh...."
"I'm just playing with you, Kennedy." You playfully slapped his back and he cleared his throat, a little embarrassed.
"Hey guys?" Claire stuck her head back into the cart with a smile. "Sorry if I'm interrupting your flirting, but it looks like we're about to come to a stop. Looks like we're outside of Raccoon City too!"
You laughed at Claire and turned to fine Leon blushing, which made you blush too. "Alright, we'll get prepared."
"You better," Claire winked. "Because clean clothes and a bed sound like heaven itself."
The train came to a halt in an unknown area, but when you got off of the train, the world looked happy again. It was no longer the dead of night and was now early morning, where the air smelled fresh and you could hear birds chirping. It was fantastic and you didn't mind the tears that were rolling down your cheeks. The train took off behind all of you with a loud whoosh and you were now somewhere new, hoping that you wouldn't hear anymore zombies.
"Come on you guys!!!" Claire ran off to a city that was off in the distance, grabbing Sherry's hand. "Let's go!! Are you seriously gonna wait all day?!"
You and Leon looked at each other with a smile and ran after Claire to the city. Stepping in there any other day would probably be hell, with people cussing each other out and pushing each other around, but when all of you stepped in there, it was amazing. There were living breathing humans just doing their every day normal routines. It was like everything was back to normal.
You clung to Leon's arm and smiled. "Leon, can you believe it?"
He was smiling like an idiot before running into some random Target. People were looking at you like you were crazy, while others whispered about hearing what happened in Raccoon City, surprised there were survivors.
You didn't care either way, it's not like you were paying attention. Instead, you just grabbed everything you needed. Water, food, underwear, shoes, socks, clothes, normal everyday items that would be so regular to everyone, but seemed like jewels and riches to you.
You walked up to Leon with a stacked cart and a smile. "I'm about ready to check out!"
Leon looked at your stack with wide eyes. "Damn, you really went ham down those aisles, huh?"
You nodded. "I'm just thankful I had a crap ton in my savings so you don't have to pay for any of it. Thank god they have an ATM here."
"Oh, awesome!" Leon was looking at a few shirts and you pulled one off of it's hanger, handing it to him.
"You would look good in this. I'll meet you outside, okay? Tell Claire the same!"
Waiting outside in a Target parking lot wasn't ideal, but it felt heavenly out, so you weren't mad in the slightest. Honestly, you didn't care at all that you looked pathetic, you were just happy this wasn't Raccoon City.
Claire quickly ran out of the Target with her arm in Sherry's. "Let's go get that hotel room!!!" She quickly darted off and Leon ran out of the Target, limping.
"Dammit, Claire, hold on!!"
You grabbed onto Leon's arm and chuckled. "She's fine, Leon. We'll catch up. She pointed at the hotel she wants to stay in, and it's not too far off. I'm just glad she has the energy to take care of that kid right now."
Leon nodded. "Same. I can barely walk without feeling like I'm going to pass out."
You and Leon walked to the hotel, laughing about the memories you had of Mr. X trying to follow you around. Even though those scared the shit out of you in the moment, you couldn't help but laugh now.
The hotel was nice. It was bright white and covered in fancy red carpets. You looked like a bunch of homeless people.... well, you guessed you were now.
"Me and Sherry are gonna share a room," Claire said, grabbing both sides of the girls shoulders.
"Then I guess that means y/n and I will have separate rooms. I'll go pay."
Your heart dropped and immediate panic filled your body.
"W-Wait." You pulled Leon off to the side, your heart pounding for some reason.
"What's wrong?" Leon looked at you with concern and held your shoulders.
"I... Can we share a room?" You looked up at him and he smiled.
"Of course."
"I just don't know if I can sleep alone after all that and we've already been through so mu-"
Leon placed his index finger on your lips and giggled. "I don't need an excuse from you, y/n. I understand."
You waited eagerly and patiently for Leon to get each of your rooms.
"I'm gonna shower so hard, you don't even understand." Claire said, stretching, each of her bones making a small pop sound.
"Me too." You sighed, imagining the warm water running down your back.
"Here's your key, Claire. Don't lose it."
Claire snorted. "As if. Of course I'm not gonna lose it. Let's go Sherry!" They ran up the stairs, getting odd looks from other patrons and staff, but they didn't seem to care.
"You ready, y/n?"
You nodded, taking the elevator with Leon.
"I'm so glad that's over." He smiled, clicking the elevator button.
"Me too."
"I still can't believe how amazing you were back there." Leon gave you a little pat on the back.
"Well, for it being your first day, Kennedy, I'd say you killed it."
"Literally."
You both burst out into laughter. You were surprised you could still do that, but very happy about it.
"You're amazing, Leon." You set down your target bag on the elevator floor and pulled him into your arms.
He sighed, tickling your neck a bit and held you by your waist. "You're amazing."
The elevator dinged, interrupting your hug, but you couldn't help but bolt out of there and down the long hallways.
"You're going the wrong way, y/n!" Leon called out, pointing down the other end of the hall.
"Which room is it?" Before Leon could answer, you glanced at the key and took off, finding the room rather quickly. You waited like an impatient puppy and bobbed up and down as Leon opened the door.
Leon opened the door to a nice clean room that smelled slightly perfumey, but much better than rotting zombie.
As you were searching the room, you were satisfied with everything. It was cozy, roomy, had a TV, a clean bathroom, and...
"Leon?"
"Yeah?" Leon was already quick to unpack his stuff, and stuffed his mouth with chips.
"There's only one bed."
His face flushed pink. "Y-Yeah... I.... I thought it would be nice." He cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck. "Look.... I don't want to be that far from you, okay? I don't know why. I still feel like I have to protect you and-" You interrupted him by placing your index finger on his lips this time.
"I don't need an excuse, Leon. I really don't mind. Now, I'm gonna take a quick shower. Sorry you gotta stay musty for a little while longer."
"Eh, it's fine. It'll make the shower more worth it."
Worth it was definitely the right words to use. When you stepped into the shower, ignoring the dark red that poured off of you and the black water that formed at your feet, it was really heaven. It was the best shower you had ever taken, and you have never felt so clean in your entire life.
When you stepped out, you immediately tossed out your old clothes and put on something fresh and some pajamas that made you feel cute. It didn't really matter since you were about to pass out soon, but feeling nice was something you enjoyed and something you actually needed after all of that.
You stepped out of the bathroom and chugged some water, not even noticing that Leon had run straight past you to take a shower himself. He really deserved it though, so you didn't blame him.
You laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling for a while. What a goddamn day. You really couldn't believe you survived all of that. It was a shit show, and for a while, before you met Leon, you didn't have anything but a metal pipe to beat the zombies off with. If not for that rookie cop, you wouldn't be here right now.
You were more thankful than he could ever know.
"Holy shit," Leon stepped out of the bathroom, drying off his hair with a little towel, in a giant shirt and a pair of basketball shorts. "That was the best shower ever."
You sat up with a smile. "Wasn't it?!"
Leon smiled when he saw you, throwing down the mini towel on a nearby table before jumping on the bed next to you. "You know," he told you, getting comfortable on the bed. "You're actually really cute not covered in blood. Wait, that came out wrong... You were cute with the blood... but uh.... shit, I messed up, can I restart?"
You giggled. "Go ahead. Restart."
"You know," Leon looked at you with the most loving smile ever. "You're really cute."
You blushed. "Says the cutest guy in the world."
"Aw, shucks, you don't mean that, do you?"
"Of course I mean that, Leon."
He smiled at you and pulled you into his arms, laying back with you on the bed. "I'm glad I found you out there." He said softly.
"I'm glad you found me."
You two sat in silence for a while, just laying in each other's arms. After being through all of that, you didn't realize how sore you were and only now was it kicking in. But thank god you had a bed.
Breaking the silence, Leon wrapped his arms around you tighter. "I never want to let you go, y/n." He whispered in your ear, placing a kiss on the lobe.
"But...." You hated yourself for asking this. "What about Ada?"
"What about her?" Leon sat up a bit, letting go of you.
"I.... You two kissed. It seemed like you really liked her."
"Ada kissed me," Leon reminded you. "We weren't that close. I knew you for longer, even if it was a couple of hours. Plus, Ada betrayed us. She was using me. You, y/n, you really care about me. I just want to protect you.... at all costs. If you'll let me."
You cupped Leon's face in your hands and smiled. "Of course I'll let you. But know I want to protect you every now and again."
Leon couldn't help himself, he pushed forward and planted his lips onto yours, pushing you right down on the bed. You quickly smiled into the kiss and pulled him closer until he was right on top of you.
He placed kiss after kiss after kiss onto you until you both passed out, snoring.
You didn't care what was ahead. As long as you had Leon, you would be fine.

Unsung - Chapter 2: Escape Raccoon City
Note: mixes og and re canon, I’ve really come to love Vanessa as an OC.
Content: 3.2 k, blood and gore, action, panic attack, dissociation, slowburn romance, Leon x OC, OC: Vanessa, the second half of Resident Evil 2 plus some after-game stuff
“No fucking way are we digging around the fucking morgue, Leon. Not happening.” Vanessa rubbed her thumb against the grip of the gun, the rough, gritty feeling against her skin keeping her alert and satisfying her nervous habit of fidgeting.
“One of them might have the key we need to get out of here,” Leon told her. He moved to open one of the silver body drawers and Vanessa almost jumped out of her skin. She put a hand on his bicep, just trying to get him to think for a minute.
“Have you never seen a zombie movie, dude?”
“How many of these things have we killed by now?” Leon asked. Vanessa bit her lip to stop a comment she knew wouldn’t help them. She met his gaze. He raised his eyebrows as if that would prove his point, and she almost smiled. “What’s a few more?”
“Fuck,” she exhaled. Then she raised her gun towards the shelf drawer and nodded at Leon. “Okay, do it.”
Vanessa used to be a dog person.
She wasn’t anymore. She didn’t know if she’d ever be able to look at a dog without seeing the gnashing teeth and veiny flesh of the infected k-9 units. Maggots crawling around an empty eye socket, flesh worn away to reveal the ribs benath, attacking with all the fervor of a starving wolf...
The woman in the red dress couldn’t be trusted. Vanessa knew that the second she laid eyes on her, even if the “FBI agent” saved their lives. For one, she was too calm. She had no personal stake in Raccoon City - Vanessa knew that as sure as she knew how to breathe. Second, she knew what was going on, and she wouldn’t tell them anything.
Leon saw the best in people. Vanessa admired that.
But all she saw when she looked at the woman in red was someone who knew why everyone she’d ever known turned into the undead, and refused to tell her how to stop it.
When they came across Kendo and his daughter, Vanessa knew immediately what was waiting for them. His daughter was sick, and scared, and too young to understand anything that was going on. Vanessa wanted to say something that would comfort the grieving father, but what could she say to him? What could anyone have said to her that would soothe her same pain?
And still, the woman in red kept her lips sealed. Even after that gunshot rang out from Kendo’s garage.
“I understand keeping it from me,” Leon yelled at her, genuine anger and heartbreak for that family in his voice, “but why them?!”
“Because she doesn’t fucking care,” Vanessa answered, acid seething in her voice. She hadn’t said anything in a long while, stewing in her rage and grief.
“That isn’t true,” Ada defended, quietly.
“Prove it!” She snapped. “Help us stop this!”
“It’s too late to stop this,” the woman in red told them.
Leon jumped in, trying to convince Ada she was wrong. He tried to get her to see that it was never too late, that there were still living people they could save. That it was their responsibility to save who they could. Leon was a good man. A noble man.
Maybe it got through to Ada, maybe it didn’t. She didn't care. Vanessa’s eyes drifted back to the gun shop now behind them, and her mind drifted back to her mother. Her sister. To Marvin's gaping jaw bearing down on her. To human eyes trapped in an inhuman body. To the sound of heavy, thunderous boots like the ceaseless drums of war.
Even if there were other survivors like her, maybe it was too late to stop this. How could she ever walk these city streets again and not jump at every shadow? The damage was done. Maybe it would be best for everyone to just let the city fall.
A gentle hand on her elbow drew her back into reality. She realized her breath was coming in fast and shaky, the skin on her thumb was numb.
"Hey. You still with me?" Leon asked. His voice was so steady, so sure.
She met his eyes and the concern there almost disgusted her. She felt vulnerable before him. She wanted to push him away, to do anything to keep him from seeing into her pain like he was now. But beneath that concern was a sadness that mirrored her own. She had to keep it together for him. It wasn't too late for him.
"Yeah," she managed, forcing herself to nod. Her fingertips brushed his elbow and she tried her best to give him all the reassurance she could through that slight touch.
-
Vanessa profusely protested going into the sewers because, a) gross dude, we have so many open wounds we’re going to die of septic shock and b) does no one else think that sounds like a really, really bad idea?
But, Leon was determined to find this Umbrella lab and destroy it. Or, something. She was exhausted from the emotional rollercoaster of the last few days. Especially the last six hours. Not to mention she hadn’t slept more than a handful of hours since this all started, and hadn’t eaten anything at all in over a day. She jumped down into the sewers with them, gagging on the smell instead of complaining.
“It’s not...” Leon started, weakly.
“Yes! It is!” Vanessa cut him off.
“Yeah, it’s pretty bad. But we’re almost through this.”
“Think the lab will have showers?”
“I don’t know if they’ll be feeling too hospitable.”
“You don’t think this is a warm welcome?” She sloshed through sewage that almost went up to her waist, genuinely wanting to cry. “Ugh, why is it warm.”
She was already not having a good night. So, when she and Leon were chased by a fifty foot crocodile, she was too pissed off to be surprised.
“Chew on that, you overgrown son of a bitch.”
She couldn’t help but breathe a laugh. Injured, exhausted, and filthy, and Leon was still making stupid jokes. She picked up a hunk of cooked croc and hurled it at his chest.
“Keep moving, Officer One-Liner.”
“That was bad.”
“I swear to God, I will throw more crocodile at you.”
-
They finally caught up to Annette. The scientist behind the G-Virus. The reason all of Raccoon City was infected. Ada Wong’s white whale... whatever that made her to Vanessa.
She thought of her music-store will-they-won’t-they fling. She thought of her mother. Her little sister. Her kind neighbour, still swinging from the ceiling fan. Her grandparents, her former classmates, their mailman. Marvin. All of those people were either dead or worse because of this fucking woman.
When you see one of those things, you do not hesitate.
Vanessa took the opportunity. She pulled out her gun and fired, clipping Annette’s side. Ada Wong grabbed her wrists. Ada shouted a protest, yanking her arms down, forcing her to lower her weapon. Annette was yelling. Leon was stepping in front of Vanessa. A gunshot went off. Leon cried out in pain.
“Leon!” Vanessa bolted to his side. Another gunshot went off as a bullet hit metal above her head. She ducked out of reflex but didn’t stop.
“Keep putting pressure on it, okay? I’m going to get you out of here,” Vanessa told him. She wrapped an arm around Leon’s waist, straining to lift him up. Pain shot through her bad shoulder. “Fucking, help me.”
“I’m trying,” Leon groaned. Vanessa could have hit him.
She glared daggers at Ada. She’d felt how strong the woman was when they tussled. The woman looked at her, then at where Annette was making her escape. She let out a frustrated sigh and came to help them. She took Leon’s other side, immediately easing the work for Vanessa. The two of them managed to walk Leon into a small ladder shaft walkway. It would be relatively safe.
Leon’s eyes were clouded and unfocused. His head lolled to the side when they put him down.
“Shit, shit.” Vanessa wiped her hands off on the cleanest part of her shirt, cursed again, and went to apply more pressure on the wound. He winced. His hand came up and grabbed her wrist, weakly trying to push her away. “I know, I know, I’m sorry.”
“You should be safe here,” Ada said, as easily as if they were on a picnic. “I’m going after Annette.”
“I don’t know what I’m doing.” The admission made her feel weak, her voice sounding tired and small even to her. She hated herself for saying it. To Ada, of all people.
“She missed the vital organs. Keep applying pressure,” Ada told her. The woman’s voice was always so dry, like Leon getting shot was just an inconvenience to her. “The important thing is that he doesn’t bleed out. You can deal with infection later.”
Vanessa’s hands were shaking again. She didn’t know if it was panic or rage. She did as she was told as Leon lost consciousness.
“You're a decent shot. You could come with me,” Ada offered, already climbing the ladder up.
Vanessa looked down at Leon. Kill the woman who ruined everything for her and everyone else in Raccoon City, or give him a fighting chance to die before morning. What kind of choice was that?
“That’s what I figured,” Ada sighed, gracefully pulling herself onto the platform above them.
“Ada?” Vanessa called after her. Ada cast her a side-glance like she was too good to even look at her in the eyes. “Kill that bitch for me.”
-
The self-destruct sequence was counting down. Piece by piece, NEST was falling apart. Blaring sirens and flashing red lights were almost enough to disorient them. There was no sign of Claire or Sherry, but it was time to go.
One final confrontation with William "B-eye-cep" Birkin left Ada mortally wounded. Leon hobbled over to help her. The clock was ticking down. He was taking her hand and saying something to her, maybe pleading with her. They didn't have time for this.
Vanessa swooped in under his arm and redirected him. He struggled against her. Pain shot through her shoulder and bad knee holding him back and she gritted her teeth to keep from relenting. She was exhausted. She was in a lot of pain. She was angry, and scared, and the building was collapsing around them.
Three minutes.
"Leon, come on! We have to go!"
"We can't leave her!"
"I can't carry both of you!" Vanessa's voice cracked. It was almost sobbed. She still blamed Ada for her cruel disregard towards Raccoon City, but she didn't want to leave anyone behind. Not even Ada. But she was struggling to make it with just him. She physically couldn’t help both of them. If it was going to come down to Ada or Leon, it was going to be Leon. In fact, if it was anyone else at all, it was going to be Leon.
Leon looked her in the eyes, betrayal and anger clear on his face. Tears dripped down his cheeks. His eyes were ringed with red, one swollen and purple. Vanessa blinked away her own tears, and to her surprise, Leon stopped struggling. Did he see what she was thinking? Did he understand? He nodded. Then they were making their escape as quickly as they could.
The sound of thunderous boots, like a war drum, fast and steadily approaching on the metal grate floor sounded behind them. Nothing tonight could be fucking easy. Her breath came in quick and hard. She turned around and saw Mr. X's unfeeling, metallic face through smoke and red light.
"Fuck! You!" She screamed in a mix of rage and terror, desperately trying to push Leon forward.
Their pursuer swung, and they both ducked just in time. Metallic fist made contact with a metal hoist. It snapped instantly. The walkway swayed.
Vanessa pushed Leon forward towards the door. She turned towards Mr. X, pulling her rifle from her shoulder. She pumped shot after shot into his forehead. But no matter how many shots she fired, he still advanced. The steady rhythm of those boots. Unstopping. Unyielding. She let out another scream as she reloaded, then fired again. Another shot. Another shot. But it wouldn’t stop. It never stopped. She backed through a door way and shrieked when it slammed shut in front of her.
She turned to see Leon leaning on a manual locking mechanism, his blood smeared upon the console. There was a heavy slamming sound and the door dented. It wouldn’t hold him.
She and Leon nodded at each other. Time to go.
They found a cable car that would rocket them downwards towards the train. She rubbed her thumb into the grip of her pistol, anxious. It didn’t feel like it was going fast enough. They were going to miss the train. They were going to die here, so close to the exit...
Screeching metal drew their attention upwards. Massive claws tore the roof off the cable car, and they found themselves looking at an even more disgusting, pulsing, unrecognizable Birkin.
"You look like shit, dude!" Vanessa taunted, mostly to cover her own fear, trying to accept that the mass of screaming flesh and viscera was once a man.
Human eyes-
From some mysterious benefactor that disappeared in a flash of red, they were gifted a rocket launcher. One final showdown.
Leon loaded up the barrel, but his arms shook as he tried to hold it. She tried to take it from him, but her shoulder seared with so much pain she almost dropped it. She looked at Leon, helplessly. Were they really going to die like this? The solution to their problems right there and they just... couldn’t use it?
Then, Leon wrapped an arm around her waist. He put one hand on the rocket launcher while she supported it with her good arm. He leaned his weight into her. She helped him aim. Together, they took one, final shot at the thing that once was Birkin.
-
They made it down to the tunnel just as the escape train rolled up to the tracks. Claire leaned out a doorway, cheering victoriously. Vanessa and Leon returned it. They sprinted as fast as they could in their state. Claire helped Leon get on, then reached an arm out for Vanessa. She followed, just barely avoiding colliding with a concrete support beam.
The three of them collapsed onto the floor of the train.
And then, in spite of all the horrors they survived, they started laughing. It was breathless at first. An aftershock of the final rush of adrenaline. And then it grew, victorious. Then manic. And then Vanessa was crying while she laughed, not entirely sure where one began and the other ended. It wasn't until Sherry padded over that any of them sobered.
Leon lit up like the sun, opening his arms to the little girl. He'd grown fond of her. The kid made Vanessa a little uncomfortable, but she was overjoyed to know she was okay. The four of them hugged.
"I'm glad you both survived," Leon told Claire.
"I'm glad you both survived too," she said, planting kisses on both their temples.
Suddenly, a harsh wind whipped through the train car. Metal screeched horrifically on metal. The train car behind them was gone. In it's wake, an impossibly fast... Wall of flesh.
It resembled the inside of a womb. Slimy, bloody, living flesh that pumped and pulsed and oozed. Eyes and mouths opened up all along its surface. A single, human eye rolled in its meaty bed, it's pupil pin-point in terror.
He's still in there, Vanessa realized.
"Leon, take Sherry," Claire said. Leon went to protest, but Vanessa cut him off.
"You need to protect her if we fail! Go!"
He nodded.
She and Claire pumped every single round they had into their attacker. It seemed to do nothing. They ran out at the same time. They decided to turn and run, hoping to just get to the control room. Maybe they could pull a lever that would release the train cars or something.
They stumbled into the control car, looking out at the muddy flatlands when a sudden, deep boom thrummed through their chests.
"Brikin?" Claire guessed.
"Get down!" Leon ordered. Claire wrapped her body around Sherry's. Vanessa hit the ground with Leon. A violent wave of force hit the train, pushing it even faster along the tracks. The air got hot and thick. The wheels screamed. Half burned gore was splattered against the door.
No one moved for a long while. Not until the air in the train cooled and it slowly rolled to a stop outside some one-light town.
Vanessa slowly picked herself up, then helped Leon.
"Everyone okay?" He asked.
They all looked at each other bewildered, but unharmed. Claire investigated the back window, but made an annoyed grunt when she couldn't see past smoldering gore.
Vanessa turned her attention to the side window where a few early morning travelers stood slack-jawed and vacant at the train. For a minute, their limply held bodies made her reach for her gun. She was already looking for potential exits. They'd be surrounded here -
A sharp whistle blew from the station. Railyard officers in navy suits and shiny hats came running over, and the bleary-eyed business people moved out of the way. Just... People. Tired, shocked, living people. She looked at Leon at the same time he looked at her, and she found herself laughing. He smiled. A warm hand found the broad of her back, resting there wearily.
"We made it," he said.
They stepped out of the train, and the crowd gasped. Leon was starting to bleed through his bandages, his eye was swollen and black. Vanessa stood by his side, her face cut up, her shoulder stiff and immobile, one of her pant legs torn off at the knee to make a make-shift bandage around her leg. Both covered in blood in varied states of wetness, and stinking like death and sewage and pesticides. Claire stepped off after them carrying Sherry, who wore a distant, vacant look too hollow for a child her age. But, Hell, she was alive.
It should have been a triumph. The survivors were safe. The evil defeated. Vanessa turned her head back towards the horizon where the cityscape of Raccoon City should had been.
All that was left was a black scar on the Earth. It glowed unnaturally, wiped flat by the force of some untold darkness. And then the boom that sent their train car hot and fast down the tracks made sense.
"They fucking nuked it," she whispered.
She felt sick to her stomach. She felt... fuzzy. In a bad way. Like TV static. Like the outlines of her body were gone and she was blending into the background. She felt like she wasn’t in her body, like she was existing just to the left of it.
Claire and Leon talked. Then Leon's arm was around Vanessa's shoulder, pushing them through the growing crowd. Then they were pushing past security. Then they were walking through the dusty plains outside Racoon City, dry and untouched by the heavy rainstorm of the last few days. She wasn’t sure how they got there. The dryness of the cracked earth in front of her felt unnatural. The entire world should be drowned in rain.
Did they send anyone in to look for survivors? Did they try to evacuate the city?
She thought of her grandparent's apartment. Ground level so Granda could keep his garden, and Nanna could knit on the rocking chair under the sloping roof. She could remember eating popsicles there with her sister, the sticky cherry juice running down their fingers in the summer sun. Of her best friend, Tasha, and their late night heart-to-hearts on the creaking swings of the park they played in as children. The nights they snuck wine from their parent’s liquor cabinet, or broke curfew to sit on one of their roofs and smoke a joint. She thought of her sister's elementary school, reduced to rubble, and all the kids who went there after her. The vocational high school her parents met at. The graveyard her Dad and Aunt Beth rested in. Their graves were beneath a big, willow tree. Her mom had a plot picked out beside Dad that she’d never be buried in. The hospital she was born in, her mom was born in, her Nana was born in. The aisles of the video store she committed to memory now just... Gone.

Resident Evil Biohazard Part 8
Separate Ways,
Leon and Mila continued following Ramon, keeping their eyes on him to make sure he didn't escape as well as watching out for more infected wolfs roaming around the maze. "Are you sure he knows where we're going? Cause it feels like he's just getting us more lost." Leon murmured.
Mila rolled her eyes and the three continued walking with Hewie. Ramon took them around another corner and Leon and Mila saw that they were out of the maze. They walked up some stairs leading to a balcony, heading back inside the castle. Mila turned and made a smug smirk at Leon. "You we're saying?" Leon scoffed at her.
"Now, if you don't mind-" Before Ramon could get away, Mila grabbed him by the collar of his coat, pulling him back.
"Nice try."
"Release me! You got what you want!" Ramon hissed angrily at her and squirmed trying to get away from her. Neither of them heard someone approaching and Leon felt a gun pointed in his back.
"Put your hands where I can see them." A woman's voice spoke, revealing herself.
Mila saw a dark-haired Asian woman with short hair, wearing dark shades, dressed in a red slit dress and black high heels. "Sorry but following a lady's lead just isn't my style." Leon replied. Just as Mila pulled out her weapon, Leon quickly reacted and knocked the gun out of the woman's hand. She quickly grabbed him and pushed Leon back and pulled out a knife. The woman was met with a knife to her neck when she had hers on Leon's.
"bit of advice, try using knives next time. It's better for close encounters." Leon told her. She flashed a smirk at him, taking her glasses off.
"Leon, long time no see."
"Ada. So, it was you and I'm guessing what I've heard about you was true after all." Leon said.
"About what?" She asked, innocently.
"You, working for Wesker." Mila's eyes widen.
"Wesker?" She growled and glared at the woman, aiming her gun at her.
"Mila, put your gun down." Leon told her. Mila glanced over to him then shifted back to Ada.
"She's working for Umbrella!"
"Let me guess, Leon, your new partner in crime?" Ada asked Leon.
"Where's Wesker?!" Mila demanded. Ada laughed.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" She taunted. Mila
"Don't toy with me bitch." She growled at Ada. Ada turned to Leon.
"You better control your dog, or I will." She warned him.
"Mila, it's okay. Trust me on this. She and I go away back." He said to Mila. Mila still didn't lower her gun, keeping her eyes on Ada.
"Anyone who works for Umbrella, isn't good. There's no reason to trust any of them." She told Leon.
"I am asking you to trust me." Leon insisted again. Mila stared at him for a moment, silently, then shifted her gaze back to Ada then back to Leon again. She had her finger on the trigger, about to squeeze it. Shoot! Umbrella took your family away from you! You have to make every single one of them pay, including Wesker! But Mila couldn't move her finger. She couldn't do it. She sighed and finally lowered her gun and looked at Leon.
"Fine. But don't come crying to me when you get a bullet in the head." Mila told Leon and put her weapon back into its holster. Leon nodded and made a small smile. Ramon glanced up at her.
"I'm sensing a bit of tension going on." He smirked.
"It's nothing to concern your little head about." Mila retorted. Ramon narrowed his eyes, glaring at her.
"So, you have been doing your homework, Leon." Ada said to him.
"Why Ada? Why work for them?" Leon questioned her.
"What's it to you?" Ada smirked. Mila glared at her.
"Answer him."
"Why are you here? What is it that you're after?" Leon asked Ada. Suddenly, there was a bright flash on the ground when Ada had dropped her glasses. She quickly ran while Leon and Mila we're blinded by the light and escaped.
"See you around!" She grabbed her gun off the floor and hopped off the balcony.
"Ada!" Leon shouted but she was already gone. But so was someone else.
"Damn it! My eyes!" Mila hissed, rubbing them, and slowly blinked her eyes to see that Ramon had disappeared.
"And Salazar's gone! Just great!" She shouted.
"We need to get to Ashely before he does." Leon quickly told her.
Ramon had made it back to the throne room, closing the door behind him. "I finally got away from them." Then Ramon saw Mila appear in his mind as he could not get rid of her. There was something different about her. She certainly wasn't normal that's for sure. Yes, she was beautiful he had to admit that. Deadly and intimidating. He even found it surprising that she didn't look at him with disgust, like everyone else who only saw him as a freak. Why though? Why only her? The more he thought about it, the more it drove Ramon insane. He gritted his teeth, growling in frustration.
Then he saw his two bodyguards in front of him within an instant, rushing towards him. Ramon pushed past them, shoving the two verdugos out of his way, heading towards his throne. "You two are useless! What use do I have for you if you let me get captured!" He shouted, furiously, berating them. "Now to find the girl and bring her to me. We must begin the ritual before he arrives-" Before Ramon could order his two bodyguards a voice interrupted him.
"Ah, there you are my old friend." Ramon's eyes widen, startled by the voice and saw Saddler, walking towards him.
"Lord Saddler! Why are you here!?" He sputtered. The two verdugos were silent and kept their eyes on the man as he approached. Saddler stopped in front of Ramon and brushed his hand on Ramon's cheek.
"I've heard that the Americanos have made it to the castle along with the girl. I was worried that they might become too much for you to handle, considering how they've took care of the priest Mendez." Ramon stared up at him in shock and gulped.
"Mendez is dead?" He asked. Saddler nodded, pulling his hand back.
"Yes. It was they who slayed him. Do not take them lightly. If anything happens to the queen plaga, she won't be able to produce us with more plagas, then all of our efforts will be lost."
"I will not let you down. I will continue to guard the queen plaga as you wish." Ramon told him. Saddler placed his hand on Ramon's shoulder.
"Your parents would be proud of you." Ramon felt a swell of pride in his chest and smiled up at Saddler. Would they though? Ramon could barely even remember his mother and father as they had died when he was very young. It was his housekeeper and butler, who had been with his family for three generations, looked after him and been by the young Castellan's side ever since he was born. It was Saddler, his only friend, who opened his eyes to his family's dark sin about the las plagas. The first Castellan shamelessly hid the secret from the people of Valdelobos by sealing the parasites in the ruins the castle was built on top of.
"You think so?" Ramon asked him. Saddler smiled.
"I'm sure of it! With your father's unfortunate passing, your mother was alone to run things on her own and taking care of you. If it wasn't for her, who willingly invited me into your home, you wouldn't be here right now. It was her sacrifice to allow me to plant the las plagas into you and cured you of your illness. But left physical changes to your body." He spoke.
"And with you helping me and allowing me to show the world this gift, you are achieving your parents' dying wish."

“You are not the first agent I’ve seen here,” Ada mused, walking beside you. You raised an eyebrow, surprised.
“I thought I was the only one that was sent.”
“Looks like they sent in some backup. Like you couldn’t handle it.” You reloaded your gun, checking all your weapons on your body. You even made sure your knife was where it was supposed to be.
“Maybe they sent in someone else to deal with you.” She scoffed, giving you a sly smile. Ada was always aloof and this was no different. She would be here one second and gone the next before you even noticed she was gone. You and Ada had been loose coworkers for years. When you ran into each other, you helped each other. It was a give and take relationship. “Do you know who it is?”
“I do.” She looked like she was reliving a fond memory. “Leon S. Kennedy.”
“Oh yeah, Agent Kennedy, I know of him. Do you guys have a history?” “He’s a puppy dog, endlessly getting in trouble that I have to get him out of,” she mused. “It’s kind of sweet.”
“Oh Ada, you aren’t playing with this poor boy's heart are you?”
“Hey, I told him to let me do my thing, he was the one who insisted on tagging along. Don’t worry, you’re still my favorite.”
“Is that because I help you back?”
“Yes it is my love.” She raised her arm, grappling hook raised, and she let herself be taken away by it to the next floor. You rolled your eyes. She would be back when you needed her most. You would have to keep an eye out for this Leon Kennedy though.
===
You ran into him about an hour later as you arrived in the castle's hedge maze. You looked down at it from the floor above, noticing a man running around, shooting down the dogs that were down there. You were impressed. This was the guy Ada had to save?
You made your way down and shot down the last of the dogs. He looked up at you, clearly expecting to see another face, probably wearing a red dress.
“Are you the other agent?” he asked. You nodded, straightening your back.
“Yeah. Why did they send you?”
“They thought you died.” He walked up to you, extending his hand. You shook it. He was handsome. You could see the puppy dog underneath though, Ada was right. “I’m Leon Kennedy. I had Ashley earlier but lost her to this damn castle.”
“Y/N Y/L/N. I know the feeling, I’ve run into my fair share of problems here. Have you met the small annoying man?” He chuckled.
“I have.”
“We have the same goal here, working for the same people.”
“If you’re saying we should work together, I agree,” he said. “The more people I can get to keep an eye on Ashley, the better.” You chuckled and nodded. The two of you took the key Leon had gotten and opened up the next door.
You could hear Ada in the corner of the room. You noticed the sound of her shoes. You didn’t bother raising your gun as she tried to disarm Leon. He got her gun on the floor and he had a knife to her.
“Bit of advice. Try using knives next time, works better for close encounters,” he said smoothly. You scoffed. She stepped away.
“I see you ran into the resident golden retriever,” Ada said, turning to you. You shrugged.
“He’s more capable with his hands than you said.”
“Oh well that was quick,” she said slyly. You rolled your eyes, smiling a bit.
“You two know each other?” Leon asked. “Are you working for Wesker too Y/N?” You shook your head.
“I think Ada and I have a similar relationship to the one you had her have,” you said. Ada shrugged.
“You were first,” she said, pointing to you. “You’ve got more grit in you and you’re better with a gun,” she complimented. You gave her a small dramatic bow. Leon looked between the two of you, confused.
“That’s flattering.”
“I have things to do,” she said, dropping her glasses on the ground. “I’ll see you two around.” There was a small contained explosion and then she slipped away again. You weren’t surprised. When you turned to Leon, it looked like he was. He blinked twice, eyebrows furrowed.
“What was that?”
“Ada. I thought you knew her.”
“I do just usually…” he trailed off and shook his head. “Nevermind.” You nodded and started to walk forward into the castle.
“Alright. You got my back Kennedy?” “Yeah.”
===
You sat on the back of the jetski Ada had given you and Leon the keys too. He was driving steadily in front of you, Ashley just behind you. You had been going for about 10 minutes away from the island that Ada had just blown up.
You had your arms wrapped around his waist. You had gotten rather close in your shared near death experiences.
“You know,” Ashley mused. “I cannot for the life of me figure out if Leon is dating that lady, if you are, or if you’re dating each other.” Leon chuckled. You shook your head, giggling gently.
“Who said we weren’t a throuple?” you asked, laughing. Her head flew back, giggling.
“I’ve been trying to figure that out myself,” Leon said. “I thought we had a good thing going but it seems like Ada may have taken my opportunity.”
“Don’t you worry Kennedy,” you said, putting your chin on his shoulder. “I’m a sucker for the golden retriever vibe.”

Chapter 9:
September 29, 1998-
"That's what you're wearing under that coat? And I thought the shoes were bad." You said in disbelief.
She had taken her trench coat off to cover Leon with it. She was wearing a pretty red dress that clung to her figure with spaghetti straps holding it up. It was gorgeous. But so impractical that it confused you on how she was just walking around and killing zombies in that.
"What? Do I look bad?" She asked sarcastically.
"You know very well you don't look bad. I was just surprised. Aren't you uncomfortable?" You asked.
"Not really. It's hot down here. If anything, you should be uncomfortable." She motioned toward your hoodie.
She was right. It was weirdly hot down here. But you didn't want to take off your hoodie. Bloodstains be damned. This hoodie has been your protection against zombie bites. You really don't want to leave any flesh bare at the moment.
"Yeah, I am. Thanks for noticing. Can we go now?"
"Hang on, I have to call in and update H.Q." she told you.
You waved her off and stood to the side, pretending not to hear the one sided conversation.
"I'm right outside of the facility, in pursuit of Annette …. If it's not on her. It must be in the NEST…. I have someone that can lead me to it." She briefly glanced at you, before looking away.
"Once it's in hand, I'll call for extraction." She finished, putting the radio away.
"Ready?" She asked. You glanced at Leon before nodding. "You can run, Annette. But you can't hide." She muttered.
"Alright. So doors a bust. But a vent leading toward the NEST is this way." You said, glancing at your map.
"After you." Ada said.
You both make it to the vent and you tilted your head in thought. How do you get past the giant fan?
"Any ideas on how to get in there?" You asked her.
"I may have one." Ada said as she grabbed a gadget from her purse thing wrapped around her left shoulder. Holster? It held her gun too.
She aimed and held the button, making the fan spin faster and faster, until it exploded and broke, giving us room to get through it. You gapped in disbelief. Who makes this stuff?
"Candy from a baby." Ada said smugly.
"Huh. I want one." You joked.
"In your dreams." She smirked, tucking it back in her holster and climbing up the ladder.
You climbed up after her and the two of you made your way through the long-winding tunnel.
"So, the plan is to get to Annette, see if she has the G-virus, and if she doesn't, go search the labs?" You asked.
Ada nodded. "She would have moved any virus sample left over the week. Which means it's best to get her to tell us directly so we wouldn't have to search the whole lab. But we will if necessary."
"Okay, but what is the FBI going to use the G-virus for?"
"Evidence."
"Couldn't you just take pictures of the underground lab that we are currently standing in? Or take the files? Or look at the city above us and see all the zombies walking around? Is that not enough?"
"It's more complicated than that." Ada snapped, done with that conversation.
The more you think about the things Ada had said, the more it doesn't make sense. Why would the FBI specifically need the G-virus? Why not any of the others? Plus, wouldn't the files laying around the entire lab be enough evidence to take down Umbrella? The emails exchanged between employees? Were you just overthinking it?
You and Ada reached the end of the vent. She used her device to make the fan spin and explode. Once the exit was clear, you climbed down. Neither of you knew exactly where to find Annette, so you just continued to make your way deeper into the NEST toward the lab. You were carefully avoiding zombies here and there as you went.
You'll see what you encounter first. The lab or Annette.
As you finished that thought, you paused in a hallway when you saw the Tyrant standing there, coming out of nowhere, and slowly marching toward you both.
"How the hell did it survive?" You asked as you and Ada quickly ducked and ran around the creature, continuing in the direction you were heading before.
"I'm not sure. Let's just keep going, but at a much faster pace." Ada said.
So that's what you did. Running through the maze of vents and halls, deeper and deeper into the NEST.
You and Ada went through a doorway and onto a catwalk. You ran across the catwalk and made it to a small elevator that would take you up a floor to the next catwalk. As you went down the catwalk, you saw Annette in another room through a glass window that was likely used for observations of some kind.
"Got you now." Ada said, both running through the door to the direction that Annette was just seen. "Always been good at running, Annette. I'll give you that."
Ada must know more about Annette Birkin than you did. It sounded like they had interacted in the past. You wondered what happened in those moments that garnered such hatred between the two.
Ada began using her fancy hacking gadget to unlock the door when you heard the familiar stomps of the Tyrant. You really hated those things with a burning passion.
"Ugh." You huffed.
"Persistent bastard, aren't you?" Ada snarked.
She quickly switches something around with her gadget and pulls the lever, finally getting the door to open. Just in time as the Tyrant was right behind you.
You ducked into the room quickly, avoiding a hit from the Tyrant. You don't see Annette.
"Try to avoid him while I get this vent opened." Ada explained.
"Sounds like a plan." You agreed.
Ada quickly got the fan to come off, but the vent didn't fully open. You huffed and slid through the gaps and Ada followed soon after as the Tyrant went to grab her. You landed on your feet, but fumbled and tripped as you lost your balance, making you land roughly on your bruised and scraped knees that haven't really had the chance to heal the last few days..
"Fuck!" You huffed as you slowly pushed yourself to your feet. "That was close."
"Yeah. I don't think we're in the clear." Ada said, glancing over your figure as she saw you wince in pain. She raised a brow in silent question, but you just waved her off. You'll survive.
You both ran down the hall and up a set of stairs toward the direction you think Annette had gone. You approached a locked sliding door that you realized you needed a pass to get through.
You glanced at Ada. "That thing wouldn't happen to work on this door, would it?"
"Sadly, no. Let's look around."
Looking around, you came across a room with something shining at the bottom. Could be useful.
"Hey, maybe this is something." You said as you walked down the slanted floor to grab the item from the floor. It was a pass on a wristband.
"That's exactly what we needed. Good job." Ada praised. You couldn't help but smile slightly as you handed her the pass. Feeling slightly awkward, you looked at your surroundings and away from Ada.
The room was slanted, like it was on a hill. Charred remains lie on the floor. And- Oh. Wait.
"This is the furnace room." You deadpanned. This was a trap.
"Looks like it." Ada hummed, realizing what you had.
"We should-" you motioned to the exit.
"Yeah." Ada nodded in agreement. You both began to make your way out, but the large metal doors to your exit slid down quickly, locking you in. A metal slot slid open, showing Annette's face.
"Bravo. Gonna burn us alive now?" Ada deadpanned.
"You'll never get your filthy hands on the G." Annette said. Her eyes moved to you. "And you. Just passing through?" She asked sarcastically.
You shrugged sheepishly and huffed an uncomfortable laugh. "Well, uh, things changed."
"You want the G too? Or did she trick you into working with her? She's good at that." Annette said.
"I'm not the only one after it. You realize that." Ada said, changing the subject.
"Then you won't die alone." Annette said, she looked at you. "You shouldn't have decided to work with her." She told you as she shut the metal slot, the furnace was activated seconds later.
Ada quickly began to do her thing with the device as the room got hotter and hotter in the span of seconds as fire burned at your feet.
"Hey, Ada? I don't mean to rush you but I don't really feel like being burned alive at the moment." You nervously said.
"Almost there." Ada reassured, sweat began to form on the both of you. The heat felt a hundred times more intense thanks to your thick hoodie that was meant for the cold and bitter air above ground.
She finally got the door to explode and you both quickly ran out of the room. You turned back and saw the furnace room had stopped working. Good riddance.
"That bitch knows what she's doing." Ada admitted.
We walked to the door that needed a pass, and it immediately opened.
"Visitor clearance confirmed. Your ID is authorized until OCTOBER FIRST. Please return before this date." A computer voice said.
"Not gonna happen." Ada said. You finally took off your jacket revealing your dark purple t-shirt, and discarded it. It was covered in blood and mud stains anyways. It was time to let it go.
"Finally gave up on it?" Ada asked as you both ran down the hall.
"It was too far gone. There was no saving it. Plus, it's really hot here."
Once again you appeared on another catwalk and ran in the direction you thought Annette went. The large room seemed to be some kind of indoor junk yard. You both paused when a spot light turned on a ways away in front of you.
"Enough, with this cat a mouse game." Ada demanded, glancing over to the window of the control room where Annette stood. She was as tired of this bullshit as you were.
"The game is over. You lost." Annette said.
"Tell me, is your husband still alive? Or did you kill him? So you could take credit for G." Ada asked.
"Interesting theory. What, did she not tell you?" Annette asked, pointing to you as she began pressing buttons and activating something. "Your new friend was there. Didn't she mention it?"
You looked around nervously as mechanisms began to hum to life. Maybe you should move.
"You don't cooperate, I'll get a sample from the NEST." Ada said simply.
"Over my dead body." Annette snarled, activating a lever.
You quickly jumped to the ledge just outside of the path of the giant, metallic claw that was swept across the catwalk. Ada wasn't as lucky in avoiding it as you were. She grasped at the safety bars, attempting to prevent her fall, but the bars fell apart from the damage to the catwalk the claw had caused.
You gasped as she fell with a scream and ran to the edge of the catwalk. You looked down the debris filled room to see a glimmer of red. You heard her yell in pain.
 Yay. She's not dead.
"Ada? You okay?" You shouted.
"Uh, no!" She yelled back. You sighed as you began to look for a ways down.
"Hang on, I'll find a way down." You told her as you glanced at the control room. Annette was still there.
"She's not who you think she is. You know that right?" Annette asked you.
"Maybe. But I'm not just gonna leave her there." You said as you made your way to a ladder leading down towards the metallic junk.
"It won't matter in the end. You'll both die before ever leaving NEST." Annette said, making you pause at the ladder.
"What makes you say that?" You questioned hesitantly, not sure if you wanted to hear the answer.
"William." Annette simply said as she walked off. You heard a distant, loud, roar and a shiver ran down your spine. Right. William.
"Fucking shit. I forgot about him." You muttered as you climbed down the ladder. You have been lucky enough not to cross paths with the mutated William. You suppose your luck would run out soon.
You reached the floor and set off to the direction Ada was laying. You walked around a pile of debris and saw Ada laying on the ground. A piece of sharp metal was lodged into her leg.
"Oh. Yeah, I can see how you're not okay." You said as you kneeled beside her and took your bag off to grab the first aid kit.
"Yeah? What gave it away?" Ada snarked.
"Hmm, well the scream of pain kinda rang some alarm bells. But hey. It could have been worse. You could have been impaled by that." You said, pointing to the large piece of metal not too far from where she landed. Big enough to impale her torso.
Ada shivered when she followed your pointed finger. "Yeah. This I prefer." She sat up, careful not to disturb her injury.
"Me too. I've been traumatized enough, thank you." You said, reaching into the med kit to grab the gauze, bandages, and medical tape. "Do we disinfect the wound when we pull that out?" You weren't sure how to treat stab wounds.
"Yes. I don't want an infection." She grabbed the kit and looked through what you had. "This will do." She handed you the bottle of disinfectant from the kit. "Here, I can bandage myself up. You can pull the shrapnel out."
"C- can we switch jobs?" You asked, not really wanting to hurt her.
"I can't pull it out. And I can't walk like this." Ada sighed.
You hesitated, hand drawing closer to the shrapnel. "I don't really want to hurt you."
"You killed a man not that long ago. You can pull out some shrapnel." She deadpanned.
You flinched, but tried to ignore the comment. "Yeah, well, he was an asshole. Which you are kind of being right now. But you're in pain, so I'll allow it." You weakly joked, hand hovering over the metal.
"Thanks." She snorted.
"Just this once though." You said as you quickly pulled the metal out of her leg.
"Bitch!" Ada yelled in pain, irritated with the lack of warning. You tried not to laugh. It wasn't funny. She's in pain.
Eh, it was kind of funny.
"I deserve that." You said as you grabbed the bottle of disinfectant and bandages from her.
"You do. I can patch myself up." Ada said grumpily, grunting in pain every now and then. She moved to take the bandage away but you slapped her wrist away.
"Just stay still and shut up." You demanded.
"Wow. You have wonderful bedside manners." She sarcastically stated.
"Yeah, and my parents wanted me to be a doctor." You laughed. You? A doctor? Yeah right.
Ada actually chuckled at the thought. "I haven't even known you a day and even I know that you would have been a terrible doctor."
"I fully agree. But, look at how well I just patched you up." You grinned, proud of your work.
Ada examined the wound. "Well, I'm not bleeding out. So good job, Y/n."
"Careful. You almost sounded grateful. It will ruin your badass FBI persona."
"You're right, we can't have that." Ada snarked back.
You changed your position from sitting on your knees to sitting with your legs crossed in front of you. Ada sat across from you.
"So, want to try walking around? Or do you want to wait for Leon to inevitably show up. He's probably already up and looking for us." You said.
Ada thought for a moment. "Let's wait for him. We're gonna need his help with finding the G."
"Alright. You're the boss." You shrugged.
"Oh, am I now?" She asked.
"Well you know more about this covert mission stuff than I do."
"I don't know, you seemed to have held your own before I even got here. You got into the NEST before I did. Even got past Annette…" She complimented before trailing off. "And you know what happened to her husband, William?" Ada asked curiously.
You sighed and nodded. "Trying to butter me up for information? All you have to do is ask, Ada."
"Alright. What happened? Did you see?"
"Unfortunately. He was cornered by some men in combat gear. They were after the G, which seems to be the common theme for the past few days…" Your voice faded as your thoughts overcame your mind.
"And?" Ada urged.
"And he decided that, rather than let them get away with it and die from his gunshot wounds, he should inject himself with the G-virus instead. So, we might encounter a mutated William Birkin while down here. Have that to look forward to." You weakly stated as you fiddled with a piece of metal, eyes gazing into the distance.
"So he caused this outbreak? Not Annette?"
"From what I've seen. Yes. William did start this. Although Annette clearly had a part in it too. My guess is that the men in combat gear didn't get too far. Must have somehow spread in the chaos."
"Hmm. Possibly. Thank you. For telling me." Ada said.
"You'd find out one way or another. Not that it matters much to your mission."
"No. But it is nice to know. I like to get to know everything I can. So I won't go in blind." Ada told you.
"That makes sense. I did the same thing before coming here. I was still unprepared. Nearly got lost because I didn't snag a map."
"How did you get out?"
"Annette, actually. She helped me out."
"She just, let you go? That doesn't sound like her."
"Well I obviously didn't tell her that I was investigating Umbrella and stealing information to show everyone how sketchy the company is. I think she had more important things to deal with than some girl that one of the scientists snuck in."
Ada goes to respond, but is interrupted by a familiar voice. "Ada? Y/n? Where are you?"
"Over here!" Ada yelled.
Leon came running around the corner. "There you two are. I was getting worried there for a sec."
"We were waiting for you, slow poke." You teased.
Leon huffed a laugh. "What happened?" He asked, gesturing to the wound on Ada's leg.
"I fell." Ada deadpanned.
"More like you got thrown off the platform, but yeah." You muttered. She threw you a half-hearted glare and you raised your hands in mock surrender.
"So, what now?" Leon asked.
"Get yourself out of here. While you still can." Ada said.
You raised a brow. She made you wait for him, claiming that he could help with finding the G-virus, and now she wants him to leave. What? What's her play here?
"I'm not just gonna leave you. Not like this." Leon told her.
"You don't understand. The situation is worse than I thought." Ada said, almost helplessly.
Pathetically.
She was not like this just moments ago. What's her play- Oh. She knows Leon's type. The knight in shining armor. She wants to use that to her advantage. She knows he won't leave her. Funny, you almost forgot that this was the same person who would have left you for dead in that cell if you weren't useful to her mission. You shouldn't have been so surprised. You shouldn't have let your guard down. You were an idiot.
"You're not getting rid of me that easily. You protected me. Now it's my turn." Leon said. You stood and crossed your arms, watching the scene from a distance.
"Didn't realize we were keeping score." Ada joked, referencing earlier. Leon helped her up.
"Grab my shoulder." Leon said.
"Don't push it rookie." Ada defended, slapping his hand away.
"Okay. Just trying to help." Leon said.
"You wanna help? We have to get to the NEST."
"NEST?"
"Umbrella's lab, remember? Right beneath us. That's where the virus samples are. You up for this?"
"Think I can fit it in my schedule."
You sighed and groaned loudly. "Alright, I've seen enough. Let's go love birds. Watch your step, Ada." You turned to walk ahead to the exit.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Leon asked, following behind you and a limping Ada.
"I've been in this situation for a week now, Leon. I want to get this shit show over with and get the hell out of here. And I can only do that after I uphold my end of the bargain." You said, leading them toward the direction of the cable car.
"Even though we failed to save your friends?" Leon questioned. You paused in your step and shut your eyes in frustration.
"Why do you both keep bringing them up? How am I supposed to move on when you're just reminding me of my dead friends every five minutes. Stay out of my business and I'll stay out of yours." You snapped. They just kept prying, and you were over it.
"Woah, okay. I shouldn't have brought them up. I am sorry, though, about your friends." Leon said, face looking like a kicked puppy once more. How are you supposed to be angry at him when he looked at you like that? Damn your soft heart.
"Sure you are. You didn't know them. To the both of you, they're just two more faces of the thousands of dead that you've already forgotten. So please, focus on this mission so we can all go our separate ways when it's over. And hopefully never see each other again." You told them.
You were over it. Over the fake sympathies and Umbrella and this entire city. You're tired. You didn't want to do this anymore.
"The cable car will take us further down to NEST. This wristband is our ticket to ride." Ada gestured to her wrist, breaking the silence.
"Nice. Where'd you get that?" Leon asked.
"Y/n found it."
"You're welcome." You said dryly.
"Anyway, we're almost there." Ada told him as she limped after you.
You walked through a door and held it open, Ada and Leon walked through. Or in Ada's case, limped.
She folds over in pain. "Ugh, this damn leg."
"Let me carry you." Leon insisted.
She shook her head. "No. That'd only make me feel worse. How's the shoulder?"
"Worse than it looks." He brushed off.
"What a pair. Both got one foot in the grave." Ada snarked.
You finally made it to the cable car door. "Here we are." You said.
Ada limped forward and used the wrist band to unlock the door.  It unlocked and you walked in, immediately going to sit on one of the benches, not bothering to even try and figure out how to work the cable car. Ada sat on a bench further down the cable car, which was slanted and had stairs for some reason. Interesting design choice.
"This may be a one way ride. So be prepared, you two." Ada warned.
"Not like I have a choice. Unless you're giving me the option to leave too?" You asked for across the car.
Ada shook her head. "We'll need you, Y/n. You know where to find the G. Or, at least, where to start."
Oh, so Leon got a choice and you don't? You doubted she needed you. You really did. So why was she keeping you here? What could you possibly add to the mission?
Leon started the cable car and it began its descent further into the NEST.
"This tram is bound for NEST. Do not exit until the final destination." A computer voice said.
"You know what I was thinking? I can't wait for the FBI to raid Umbrella headquarters and take those bastards to justice." Leon said.
Yeah, if only.
"I agree… But to be clear, you're not working in official capacity. This is a federal case. Once we get the G-virus, I'm back on my own." Ada told him.
Leon seemed a bit annoyed by this and turned around to look away. You couldn't really tell what he was thinking.
"Hey, Leon. Trust me?" Ada asked.
He walked up the stairs toward her. "You trust me?"
Ada huffed a laugh. "Honestly… If I didn't you'd probably be dead."
"Right." Leon scoffed.
"What about you, Y/n?" She asked, taking your attention from looking out the windows.
"What about me?" You asked, not really paying attention to the conversation.
"Do you trust me? Trust us?" Ada repeated.
You looked at her and Leon, pausing for a moment, before shaking your head. "No."
"No?" Leon questioned, confused and curious.
"No." You repeated. "I barely know you both. We've been together for five, maybe six hours. I don't trust that easily. Especially strangers."
"Smart. I don't blame you for that. But for this to work, I need you to trust us. Trust me." Ada tried.
You hummed. "Yeah, well, I'll try not to ruin your plans. How about that?"
You could meet in the middle and work together, but trust? That's a stretch. It's a lot to ask for. You've been disappointed and betrayed by those you've trusted before. In return you've always been careful when it comes to that. Hell, it took a couple weeks before you even fully trusted Ben. Especially when he started dating Katherine.
A pang in your heart. No. Don't think about them. Survive now, grieve later.
"Why don't you trust us? We've saved your life." Leon said.
"Yes. And I thank you for that. But in case you've forgotten, which I haven't, you also threatened to leave me for dead in that cell with Ben's body if I didn't cooperate. Not exactly a good first impression."
Ada nodded in reluctant understanding. "Look, I thought I might need yours and Y/n's help… and I was right. If you both can secure the G-virus I can make sure what happened in Raccoon City never happens again."
Leon sits next to her. "Ada. You said it yourself. It's a federal case. I don't have the authority-"
"Look at me." Ada interrupted. Leon went silent and she huffed. "I'm a liability now. If I'm gonna finish this case, you both are the last hope I've got."
Ah, so that was her plan. Make us do her dirty work.
Leon looked conflicted. "I'm not just gonna leave you here. What if you're attacked? What if you need help-"
Ada kisses Leon. She kisses him. For a good few seconds. You grimaced and turned to look out the windows, never a fan of PDA.
Didn't they just meet each other? Must be another manipulation tactic. Kiss the man to shut him up and get him to listen.
"I'll be fine. Don't worry about me. I gotta see this through. And I want to see you again." She placed a hand on his thigh. "I got plenty to live for. Trust me."
Is that flirting? Is she flirting?
Really fucking awkward. Oh wow, look at that. The building structure is amazing. You could give Umbrella a point for cool underground labs. That leaves them at -99.
"Now arriving at NEST." The computer voice said.
"Go. Please. We don't have much time. You're gonna need this." She took off the wrist band and gave it to Leon.
"Okay." Leon said, ready to be the hero. "You coming, Y/n?" Leon asked you.
You glanced at Ada and saw her look at you pleadingly. You rolled your eyes and walked over to her.
"Fine. I'll do your dirty work for you, seeing as you're incapable at the moment. But after this, I don't want to see you ever again. I don't really appreciate being manipulated." You said quietly, so Leon wouldn't hear from the doorway.
"I haven't been manipulating you-" Ada started.
"You have. And Leon too. You know it." You shrugged. "It's fine. I'll get you your G-virus. I just better not find out it has landed in the wrong hands because of you. I really don't want a repeat of Raccoon City, Ada. I don't want to have a part in that again. You can understand that, can you?" You questioned.
"I understand. You can trust me, Y/n." Ada said.
You looked her in the eye and studied her face. You were conflicted. It was odd. Every single part of you wanted to trust her, but you knew you couldn't. That you shouldn't.
"We'll see. Stay safe, Ada." You said as you turned and walked away from her.
"I'm counting on you both." Ada said.
"I know." Leon responded. You just went out, not wanting to stay there anymore.
Time to go get the G-virus.
