"Minor possessive talk, mostly he's just a clingy loser" on the Cove drabble got me so good -- could you maybe do something similar for Derek and Baxter?!
Crazy about your writing, tysm for sharing!!!!
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Baxter's life is perfectly, aesthetically crafted. Until it isn't. NSFW drabble.
: ̗̀➛ Featured Characters: Baxter Ward x Gn!Reader
̗̀➛ Content Warnings: NSFW, slight possessive language, very very brief angst (i mean, it is baxter)
̗̀➛  Additional notes: Continuing my loser men agenda with Baxter! I will write a separate post for Derek soon, but finishing two things in a row has me antsy to post this one separately. Theres bottom!Baxter if you squint, but i tried to write him as a switch so take it either direction as you will. Mostly he's just a loser who makes sex way too romantic. I love him.
Tumblr media
Baxter wouldn't deign to call himself clingy. He was incredibly independent, really. Your relationship had taken a five year break and survived, he was perfectly content by himself.
But that didn't explain the sick thrill he gets having a clingy partner. There is something so delightfully addicting about being wanted. He loved it when he woke up to you wrapped around him, heart thundering when you burrowed closer at even the slightest twitch of movement, like you were scared he'd disappear.
That was where the thread of guilt came in. Of course you had clingy moments, he'd vanished from your life once, could you really trust him not to do it again? What did his word matter, ultimately?
It was hard not to think like that. He knew his own track record with relationships, and he wanted, more then anything, to not fuck up this one too.
It's never easy to chase those thoughts away. And yet you do it so effortlessly, with just the graze of your teeth, the scrape of your nails.
Baxter is putty in your hands when you mark him up during sex. He's obsessed with the way his pale skin looks after its been ravaged by you, admiring the scratch-marks down his back after he's fucked you, or the hickies and love-bites you've scattered across his chest. He'd let you ruin his neck with sweet bruises if it wasn't shockingly unprofessional.
I mean hickies on the wedding planner, on someone else's big day? He feels a shameful tingle of pleasure he can't deny at the thought. Baxter is so put together during the day that he absolutely falls apart at night, guided by your safe and sure hands. He cries, he begs, he sniffles as big, wet tears fill his red eyes. There was some alarm, the first time he cried during sex. The whole ordeal had been put on hold to make sure he was okay, until he'd shamefully and slowly explained to you that yes, he was perfectly fine. So, so good in fact, the tears had sprouted on an especially breathy moan.
And even though he begs so sweetly to leave your mark sometimes you handle him so tenderly and gently it sparks a whole different kind of need inside him. Love-making, he thinks, with his head nestled between you thighs, moaning with every tug of his hair, is a new world of pleasure. Miles beyond just sex.
But his favorite part of it all is the minutes just after. When he stumbles out of your arms to gleefully assess the damage, take in his tear-stained face, the pink hand prints on his hips and ass, his kissed swollen lips. The sight of it all has his spent cock twitching awake.
Just a little more, he thinks, stumbling back over to you. God his legs ache in just the best way. He's already hard again, cum beading at the tip without a care for his carefully crafted, elegant persona.
He pulls you into another kiss, sweet still, before nipping playfully at your ear.
"You've positively ruined me, dear." He purrs, a shiver of glee running through him as your hands find his hips again. "Want to do it again?"

Ollie and Wicky eloped.
Everyone feels offended and they think maybe the others got invited but the truth was nobody did.
They eloped winter break junior year, but everyone thinks they got married after graduating.
Until Bitty is stressing out planning his and Jack's wedding and Ollie is like "this is why we eloped junior year" and Bitty freezes and stares at him.
"Junior year?"
"yeah. My student visa was expiring for the year and we had plans to get married anyways, so Pace' suggested eloping earlier than planned so I could get a green card. Fuck, Tango was literally the only one there as our witness and to tell immigration "yeah they genuinely love each other, it's kinda gross how in love they are with the PDAs" so. We never had a real ceremony, just did paperwork for it. It helped that we were broke college students who had been dating since our freshman year."
Bitty is floored.
He texts the others asking if they knew.
They are all HORRIFIED to know they've been thinking the worst of Ollie and Wicky when the only person who went was the freshman that was the honest and genuine tadpole that Wicky pretty much adopted, and probably because there was no way immigration would not believe the kid.
Bitty hesitantly asks if they'd want a ceremony, and Ollie shrugs.
"it's not a big deal to me overall. I think it'd be nice, but I don't need one. I think Pacer would like it though, but his family is also kinda fucked up so I don't know for sure how he'd feel about it. I've offered though. He said no."
Bitty asks Tango.
"He and his cousin planned their weddings when they were eight, Bitty. He wants a ceremony. He doesn't need one, he knows that, but he wants one, he just doesn't want Ollie to think it's something he needs to do to like, prove they love each other or something. It's from the fucked up childhood. His mom was kinda stupid. Said weddings were proof that they love each other. So Wicky says no when Ollie offers 'cause he remembers that and doesn't want Ollie to feel like he has to do it as proof, because he already knows Ollie loves him. It's stupid. People are stupid. Why are people so stupid?"
"Good Lord, that's the million dollar question, Tango."
And so he talks things out with Tango.
Tango gets in touch with Wicky's cousin.
She gives him the old baby wedding planner they did as kids, and the one Wicky had started when he and Ollie first made plans to get married after graduation (the baby one was for cute little laughs at what 8 year old Wicky wanted, it wasn't actually what Tango asked her for. Nobody is complaining).
She sits Ollie down. Tells him what their moms told them as kids, and that Wicky will never tell him he wants a ceremony because of it, and especially since they're already married.
So Ollie has to finish planning things. They can have the ceremony on the day they actually got married ("Make it romantic! He'll love it!") And it can be in their backyard, even ("where doesn't matter, so long as the people you both care about are there!").
SMH is invited, that much is clear.
Bitty is Ollie's best man, Tango is Wicky's, because Ollie knows Wicky wouldn't want anyone else there unless it's Johnson (which is true).
But Johnson is allowed to wed people legally, they have no idea why, but he can, and Ollie knows Wicky would LOVE that.
The ceremony really is in the backyard, and it's covered in snow, and Wicky comes home from work to their friends and families over and holy shit Ollie did all of this?!
And his dad just grins, gives him the suit he got married in, and his own father got married in, and his father had married in, and Wicky is crying by the time he's standing with Ollie at the end of the aisle, with Tango as his best man, and Johnson is the one marrying them.
He whispers thank you before Johnson starts talking.
It's absolutely everything he could have wanted for their wedding.

heyy, buck astrology girlie anon here again! i love that you knew exactly where i was trying to go with that idea! it'd be adorable if tommy played along at first even though he doesn't believe in astrology, but then actually grows to genuinely like this silly little fun thing between them simply because buck once talked for an hour about how their zodiac signs are apparently a perfect match during one of their dates and tommy's just like 🥰 of course we are 🥰 glad the universe agrees 🥰
anyway, what else i need to add: evan buck buckley will absolutely 10000% be superstitious about every single wedding tradition so he will be doing everything and anything in preparation for the big day because his husband-to-be is the love of his life and he'll be taking absolutely zero risks with the universe on this one. that combined with clipboard buck who has the most gigantic wedding planner folder my most beloved 💖
Yesss, Tommy loves listening to him talk 🥺 and also loves kissing him in between rambles.
Buck: what was that for?
Tommy: nothing, you’re just cute
Buck: ☺️
And oh my god, he absolutely has the biggest wedding binder and color coded spreadsheets and he’s driving everyone insane, except for Tommy, who is mostly endeared and when Buck asks for his opinions on colors, he doesn’t have a big preference as long as somewhere in there is the color of Buck’s eyes and maybe flowers the color of his birthmark and pretty pink lips bc Tommy Kinard is a romantic!! And when Buck gets too tense, Tommy has fun helping him expel stress 😉

Apologies if you already answered this, but I’m curious what you think Donna and Harvey’s wedding is like in Seattle. What’s her dress like? Where did they get married? What was their song?? Was Jessica there?? I feel like they could have thrown us a short epilogue at least 😩
Hi babes!! I answered a similar question about Donna and harvey's life in Seattle here, but let's talk about the wedding pt 2.
Firstly, I sort of expect them to have their real wedding on the East Coast still, since that is where most of their family is. They kinda feel like they'd have a chill, but classy, wedding at Martha's Vineyard or a similar place that is less touristy/widely known. If they were to get married in Seattle, they'd most likely either do it in the city at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel!! If they wanted to get out of the city they would go to the San Juan Islands or something and have their wedding at a hotel by the water.
I'm tempted to say Donna wouldn't wear a white dress, but also she looks so good in white when she wears it on the show so I kinda think she might lmao. Jessica is absolutely there and Rachel obviously would be too as maid of honor!! Jessica makes a toast at the reception actually. Like she's known these crazies for over a decade and has watched them dance around each other, she deserves some last words about it lmao.
I have No Idea what their song is lol. Probably a romantic jazz song tbh!! The reception music is definitely a lot of jazz and the vibes are really good. It's low lighting, kinda deco, very chill but elegant. There are flowers EVERYWHERE!!! That's probably what Donna stresses about the most tbh is the flowers. I just know in my gut she was pulling her hair out about the perfect arrangements and how big they should be on the tables vs at the entries etc. I seriously doubt anything else stressed her out as much as that did. Harvey actually also is pretty involved and once they mutually decide on food/color scheme and stuff he is the one scheduling the caterers and whatnot and it is definitely not all on Donna's shoulders. They try hiring a wedding planner and soon fire them bc they both have a hard time handing over that much responsibility to a stranger.
uuuhhh other little things:
one of marcus's daughters is the flower girl
jim walks donna down the aisle but still kinda glares at harvey as he does it and harvey just smiles lmao
MOST IMPORTANT THING ACTUALLY: harvey, in his vows, tells donna "you had me at hello" which is a reference to the film Jerry Maguire. Harvey canonically loves this movie and I curse God every day for not having him make this reference bc it just would have been perfect for them??? fuck his gambling analogy i wanted movie quotes!!
anyways yes thank you for this ask this is so fun to think about!!!! <3333

wedding planner!kim hongjoong x gn!reader
0.2k words, fluff?, lmao abrupt ending??
Tumblr media
It wasn't very unnatural that you and Kim Hongjoong would call each other every night, especially when he was out of the country for work every other week. Some of his clients just had ridiculous ideas for destination weddings, but hey, if they could pay the fee then who were you to judge?
"—no, wait, that's like… so slay, good for her!" Hongjoong's voice carried through your phone speaker as he watched the montage of Jane Nichols modeling her 27 bridesmaid dresses for the ever anti-romantic Kevin Doyle.
From your phone screen, you could see his eyes pinned to his laptop screen as he autopiloted handfuls of popcorn into his waiting mouth. It was quite the film to watch on its own, to be honest. You laughed, eyes flickering back to your own laptop screen. You were both in a streaming party watching your ever beloved 27 Dresses. You didn't often watch romcoms, but this was an absolute classic, and you had a feeling Hongjoong would love it just as much as you did.
"Ooh, that one's actually not bad," he murmured, eyebrows pinched together. "Might have to note that down as a wedding theme idea."
You wrinkled your nose at him. "For who's wedding?" Did one of his clients like something like that—
He looked at you through his phone screen and winked. "Ours."

I was tagged by @jabeur so here are my answers (grazie Nico🫶🏻)
1. Do you make your bed?
Yes, every single day
2. Favourite number?
I’d say 3, which is very basic, but there is a story behind it. When I was little there was this cartoon where the protagonists were numbers and three was the clever one, that also happened to be pink! Best number in the show, so it became my favourite
3. What’s your job?
I’m a student, and unemployed
4. If you could go back to school, would you?
I have been super lucky and always had good experiences in school, or made the best out of the not-so-great ones, so I would absolutely go back
5. Can you parallel park?
I have never driven in my life (altra non patentata here)
6. Do you think aliens are real?
Yes, it seems reasonable to think that there are other forms of life in the universe. We can’t be the only ones, come on
7. Can you drive a manual car?
I have never driven in my life
8. Guilty pleasure?
I watch some rather trashy tv programmes sometimes. Like Temptation Island, Il castello delle cerimonie, Say yes to the dress… and I get overly invested in them
9. Tattoos?
No :( I like some tattoos I see on other people, but unfortunately I could never get one because 1) I’m not cool enough and 2) I can’t stand the sight and feeling (I somehow feel it) of ink on my skin
10. Favourite colour?
Sage green and teal
11. Favourite type of music?
Italian songwriting, both old and contemporary
12. Do you like puzzles?
I LOVE puzzles of all sorts, crosswords, jigsaw, sudoku, rebus… Rebus are sooo fun and I feel so smart every time I complete one
13. Any phobias?
A lot😭 I’m scared of most animals, especially dogs (sorry everyone) and insects. Then I’m super scared of fire and of explosions. The list would go on but I’ll stop here
14. Favourite childhood sport?
I did ballet, which I’m not sure can be considered a sport, and I loved it. I wasn’t that good, but I have very happy memories. And it also made me fall in love with the French language
15. Do you talk to yourself?
Yes, all the time and in different languages depending on the day. I basically vlog my life without a camera
16. Tea or coffee?
Tea, I don’t like coffee (sorry part 2)
17. First thing you wanted to be when growing up?
A wedding planner! I love weddings and I watched way too much Enzo Miccio growing up, so it was my dream
18. What movies do you adore?
Disney movies like Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Coco, Mulan…
Then I absolutely adore La La Land, and a long list of romantic films, of various degrees of silliness
I have no idea of who’s answered this already, so don’t worry if you ignore this. I’m tagging @thelightattheendofthistunnel @pain-to-my-auchocolat and @sabatinifortylove

What did you think of Wedding Plan? Worth a watch?
I... didn't make a recommendation post for it. And that wasn't an oversight.
It feels like 4 episodes worth of actual material with a LOT of air injected in. I think there's a reason people only know it exists through Pai/Sky and Payu/Rain GIFsets...
Just kind of ... not enough plot to work with. It feels like a connector piece between a bunch of Mame series that just kind of... ended up out of place. Like, it would have played out well in the background of 3-4 other series.
I'll put a general plot rundown below the cut.
Namnuea is a fantastic wedding planner who loves to nom. Man loves all kinds of food, especially The Sponsor, McDonalds.
At the wedding of Prapai and Sky, Lom (a friend of Pai's from when they both studied in the UK) sees Namnuea sneaking some nibbles and immediately finds himself falling for the man.
He asks Pai who his wedding planner is and gets the address of the company Namnuea works for (Gotta love bros who get their hos the sneaky way).
Lom makes an appointment right away with Namnuea, and arrives with his doting and blushing bride Yiwa. Yiwa and Lom are one another's first loves, and have been together since they were young children.
What style wedding would they like? IDK. Color? IDK. Guest list? IDK. Venue? IDK.
Yiwa and Lom give Namnuea a 3 month deadline, but absolutely no information to go off of to actually plan the goddamn wedding, just that cost is no concern. Lom says it's all up to Yiwa. Yiwa says it's all up to Lom.
Both are head over heels in love and ready to marry, and yet neither seems to give a shit about the wedding.
Namnuea visits Lom at work, demanding answers to the most basic wedding planning questions, and it soon develops that Lom will only give Namnuea glimpses of his and Yiwa's tastes if Namnuea follows him around.
Lom is quick to spot Namnuea's insecurities as he spends time with the young man, and is always ready to show encouragement and a growing affection. Namnuea is desperate to maintain a professional dynamic with Lom, but unwillingly finds himself falling for the man, which sends Namnuea into a spiraling depression. He is a professional, not a homewrecker, and he is disgusted with his own feelings.
Yiwa is the voice of reason in Lom's ear, telling him to reveal the truth to Namnuea and end the charade-- a charade Lom is participating in to protect Yiwa and her true love, Marine.
When they were teenagers, Lom and Yiwa both realized there was no possibility of them developing romantic feelings for one another. Lom is exclusively attracted to men, and Yiwa exclusively attracted to women. Forced to hide who they are in the face of aggressively homophobic families, Lom offered to marry Yiwa to satisfy their mothers, buying an apartment in the same building as Marine.
The plan is for the two to marry, then Yiwa can live freely with Marine, their mothers never suspecting that they separate once they're inside the building. One day, if Lom finds a man he loves, he and Yiwa can stage a tragic divorce and each be with their partner.
Marine has accepted the arrangement, even if it hurts her heart a bit. She repeatedly encourages Lom and Yiwa to reveal the truth to Namnuea, knowing the pain Namnuea must feel in his heart thinking they are a real couple after going through the exact same thing 2 years ago.
But before Lom can tell Namnuea the truth, one drunken night everything comes to a head and the pair have sex. Disgusted with himself and sick of the heartache he has suffered for loving the "already taken" Lom, Namnuea flees to his mother's home, then a sister's farm, taking an indefinite leave from work (his boss and friends suspect what is going on and are very supportive and protective of him).
Lom panics when he wakes up and finds Namnuea gone. He cannot get a hold of him, cannot find him anywhere. Even Lom's coworkers curse him out for his despicable behavior.
Until Yiwa comes in with Marine and explains the entire thing.
Lom gets the address of a farm Namnuea's sister runs, where Namnuea has gone to stay to hide. He goes to the farm and immediately tells Namnuea the truth. But Namnuea doesn't know how to feel, the pain is still too raw.
It takes a lot of work- to get in the good graces of Namnuea and his family again, Lom works his ass off and endures the snipes of Namnuea's cousin (who is another Mame main character, I think).
Eventually Namnuea forgives Lom, and returns to Bangkok to help pull off the farce of a wedding.
But Yiwa's mother has grown suspicious of Lom and Marine after seeing them meeting at a cafe (to discuss how to approach Namnuea while he's still oblivious). She's convinced Lom is having an affair with the homewrecker Marine, and attacks the woman.
It's the final straw for Yiwa. When the day of the wedding arrives- without warning Namnuea and his team (who are now all in on it) in advance- Yiwa simply vanishes.
She plays the heartless bride who flees with her maid of honor to elope in the UK. Lom puts on a thoroughly heartbroken act, dusting himself with alcohol and wearing only wrinkled clothes, pretending to cry whenever people come to speak to him.
Lom and Yiwa are at their theatrics again, planning the runaway bride scenario and keeping it from Namnuea and his people to sell the act (these two are obviously theater kids forced to get real jobs, they love a good scheme).
The act manages to soften the heart of his mother, who is increasingly upset and worried about her son's long lasting depression. Since he swore to the heavens that Yiwa was the only woman he was capable of being with, she slowly accepts Namnuea as the hero who brings her son out of his darkness.
Lom and Yiwa remain best friends, but now living on separate continents. Yiwa marries Marine in London, and Lom is free to marry Namnuea in Thailand.
And I really hope at some point someone sat Pai down and told him the entire story.
Because the man would pee himself laughing.

Do you like any couples that have bro-y vibe?
Did you check the chemistry masterlist?
I did, and I read a post about couples with friendship chemistry as well as romantic chemistry. But I meant more along the lines of couples that seem like they're bros as well as in love - with constant teasing and play fights. I feel like I read a post like that from you a while ago but its not in the masterlists, and I can't be sure. I think eun chan and han kyul from coffee prince were on the list.
Yeah, the couples in that list I would consider bros
Like, Donna and Eric to the point that there's a plot line in the show where she beats Eric at basketball and he feels emasculated because they're dating now so she tries to be demure at the advice of her mother and he's like k, let's just not, let's just do what we always did, which is essentially being bros so they go back to what they did before
Tumblr media
but then you know the romance
Tumblr media Tumblr media
like these are bros
Tumblr media
Robin and Barney? Absolutely bros
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Barney becomes obsessed with getting a hot woman -- I think it's their wedding planner? -- to take off her coat and Robin joins in with the curiosity and they see her take off the coat together
Tumblr media
Ae Ra and Dong Man absolutely bros to the point that when the things that used to irritate them about each other (like when Ae Ra tries to be aegyo/cute)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
are things they start to find attractive, their responses are romantic but still very much bro-y, like he is UPSET that he finds Ae Ra acting cute cute now and later on he responds to her like a boyfriend/bro
Tumblr media
he makes fun of the way she dries her hair, she says that he's below her in their ranking etc. but maybe you mean ships where they're a particular brand of silly together like Weightlifting Fairy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
or like Han Kyul and Eun Chan

💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side?
☕ - Coffee or tea?
💀 - How do they feel about horror movies?
💖 - How and how often do they try to impress their partner(s)? How and how often do their partner(s) impress them?
for your ladies!! :)
Tysm for asking about my girls! I'm going to do this for Jamila and Viola, Saoirse and Zoe, and Felicity and Shiloh. Jamila and Viola are both surgeons - Jamila's a plastic surgeon, and Viola's a trauma surgeon. Saoirse is a licensed esthetician and massage therapist and plays bass guitar in fables. Zoe is a hair stylist, and is a vocalist (and occasional strings player) in fables. Shiloh is a wedding and event planner, and Felicity owns a really cute little sweets & gelato shop in Maplewood, a small town right outside of New Islington. (Also tysm for your lovely prompt a few days ago! I love it and am really looking forward to working on it once I've finished this other ficlet I've got in progress.) Cut because this got really long.
💝 - What gestures do they really appreciate? How do you get on their good side?
Saoirse: Not to use love language terminology, but Saoirse really appreciates little acts of service, whether in romantic or platonic relationships. She loves it when people do little things for her without her having to ask. If Zoe takes her car out to gas it up and get it washed for her? Fantastic. Someone grabbing her water bottle to refill it for her while they're up getting themselves something? Amazing. She comes home late after a really long shift to a clean house and dinner made even though it was supposed to be her night to cook? The best. Getting a bit of a shoulder and temple massage from Zoe after work without having to give her puppy dog eyes? Incredible. A friend giving her their hoodie because she looks cold? She melts. She just really loves it when someone takes a responsibility off of her shoulders - could she do all of this herself? Yes, easily. But not having to is SO nice.
Zoe: Zoe's absolute favorite thing is probably being given small, unexpected gifts that make it clear that the giver really gets her and knows her well. They don't have to be big or expensive at all (frankly, she prefers it if they're not) but things like a hot cocoa bomb Saoirse grabbed for her at the store because she knows Zoe loves chocolate and cute things or a new pair of fuzzy socks because it's getting cold out and Zoe always has ice blocks for feet? Jasper (one of her work friends) bringing her her favorite tea latte when he runs out to get himself one without asking her if she wants one? A new mug because she broke hers, or a pretty postcard for her to put up at her station at the salon? Knowing someone was thinking of her like that makes her all warm and fuzzy inside.
Viola loves to be spoiled and surprised by the people who love her. She loves it when Jamila plans fancy date nights for the two of them (Jamila always goes *way* overboard, right down to picking out Viola's outfit for the night and often buying her a new dress or something), loves surprise fancy spa trips for a massage and facial, loves fancy gifts, loves it when her brother gifts her a gorgeous new bag after she gives him a long weekend break from his toddler who is very much in the throes of the terrible-twos. She is definitely a champagne tastes kind of girl, and thankfully she and her wife have the budget to match that.
Jamila loves praise and compliments more than pretty much anything else in the world. Yes, she is gorgeous. Yes, she is a brilliant surgeon. Yes, her sutures are utter perfection. Yes, that outfit is fabulous and suits her perfectly. Yes, she is the best wife ever. The meal she cooked for her and Viola after a long shift is amazing. She's the best sister-in-law ever and is just SO good with her baby niece. She knows all of this but she craves hearing it from other people at all times and will essentially purr like a very satisfied cat when it happens. Viola always makes sure to compliment her and praise her, even leaves her little notes to find which Jamila absolutely adores.
Shiloh is a very tactile person and loves physical touch more than anything else. She loves having her hair played with or braided, long, soft hugs, foot rubs (she REALLY loves a good foot rub), shoulder and back massages, snuggling on the couch with her girl, a friend rubbing her arm or squeezing her shoulder encouragingly when she's stressed, soft forehead kisses... she gets touch-starved easily and loves having her physical affection bank refreshed and poured into.
Felicity's favorite gestures are anything to do with feeding her. While she does actually enjoy cooking, it feels like SO much work a lot of the time and she'd rather just cry while she poured herself a bowl of cereal or ate shredded cheese right out of the bag bathed in the light of the fridge. Having someone cook for her or bring her a snack or order delivery for lunch for her while she's at work makes her feel all warm and fuzzy and cared for, whether it's Shiloh having her favorite comfort meal waiting after a really long day or her sister, Verity, dropping by the shop with a snack for her. The way to her heart is through her stomach.
☕ - Coffee or tea?
Viola is an "inject caffeine straight into my veins" kind of girl. She'll do cold brew with a couple of espresso shots on top, black coffee, quad shots, iced Americanos (no water, just ice to dilute it)... every great once in a while she'll indulge in a slightly sweet seasonal latte around the holidays but that's pretty rare and she couldn't have anything sweet be her every day drink.
Jamila, on the other hand, is really sensitive to the taste of bitter so while she likes coffee, she needs it to be sweet enough to cover the taste. She's not a big fan of mochas, but loves anything vanilla, caramel or hazelnut. She also loves tea, but mostly herbals and white teas because of the bitterness issue. Her favorite way to relax after a shift is with a mug of her favorite mint and rose white tea and a book in front of the fire.
Saoirse prefers tea and tea lattes (especially green teas or matcha lattes, although she'll never say no to herbals, chai, rooibos or other black teas), she really isn't a fan of coffee although she'll begrudgingly drink it if she's really dragging and just can't wake up or is super fatigued. Zoe knows something's up with her if she's willingly drinking coffee.
Zoe loves coffee, but she prefers it sweet (and preferably iced and blended and topped with whipped cream, unless it's really cold out). She's also a big fan of fancy hot cocoa - at least partly because she was never allowed it growing up and she's making up for lost time.
Felicity's a coffee person, but goes back and forth on whether or not she wants it sweet or not. It really just depends on the day. More often than not she prefers just a basic, unflavored latte but sometimes she'll go nuts and make herself something fancier.
Shiloh would rather have soda or an energy drink most days. She's not opposed to coffee or tea, although neither of them are daily drinks for her. She knows energy drinks really aren't great for her, but also she doesn't care. They work and that's what matters to her - girl is *all* about efficiency.
💀 - How do they feel about horror movies?
Viola loves horror movies, but they rarely scare her. She finds most of them funny, just... ridiculous and overwrought. Her job's kind of desensitized her to gore and blood, and she just doesn't believe in anything supernatural so none of it's real to her. She just finds them entertaining.
Jamila is scared of horror movies, but she'll watch them (the non-gory ones at least, she's not a fan of it or anything with torture) with Viola, usually peeking out from behind her hands while she watches with her wife all snuggled up next to her. Every time she jumps, Viola hugs her a bit tighter.
Saoirse and Zoe both like them, but only around Halloween. October is horror movie month, and neither of them will watch them the rest of the year. It's purely a "get in the mood for spooky season" thing for them, often while they're carving pumpkins or working on costumes. Zoe loves Halloween and goes all out for it, so they have to set the right vibe for it.
Felicity will not watch horror movies. She doesn't like them at all, they really scare her (she was raised really religious and while she's not any longer and has deconstructed, there's still a lot of horror movie content that revolves around things she was taught were "evil" and they still distress her even though she doesn't really believe in them) and it's just not something she's willing to compromise on.
Shiloh's not a big fan of them in general, but she's got a couple that she likes and will watch around Halloween but only if Felicity's out of the house doing something else. She doesn't want to risk her girl walking in on her watching one of them since she knows how much Felicity hates them.
💖 - How and how often do they try to impress their partner(s)? How and how often do their partner(s) impress them?
Okay, so this question is a bit hard to answer because I feel like most of my OCs don't really try to impress their partners although they might accomplish it unintentionally sometimes. They just... treat their partners really well and do things they know their partners like because they love them, but there's no real intent to impress if that makes sense? They just love their girls a lot and want them to be happy so they do things accordingly.
The only one I feel who really makes an effort to impress her girlfriend is Zoe and, frankly, a lot of that is a trauma response. She spent so much of her life not getting any recognition for the things she did and having her efforts actively diminished that she has a heightened need to be praised and recognized and to do things that get other people's attention. It's something she's working on in therapy, not desperately craving other people's affirmations as much and she's getting better about it.

In the spirit of current memes: W A L R U S be upon ye; Roony/Yori!
Thank you for this! I'm sorry for taking a while to answer these. (Also, I would absolutely find the walrus on more doorstep more terrifying than the fairy. Like how did he get to a third floor walk-up? lol.)
Answered R here.
Whisper: What pet names and compliments do they use?
Rooney calls him "Yori", a shortened version of his name. Yorinobu gets to call them by their first name, which no one else gets to do. Neither are the type to use pet names.
Since neither uses pet names, the pair compliment each other a lot. There isn't a specific compliment that either goes to; it just tends to be what is on the other person's mind. (Although, Rooney and Yorinobu both can be pretty flirty when giving compliments.)
Adorable: What do they find especially endearing?
Yorinobu finds it endearing when Rooney infodumps about model ships. He doesn't get what they're saying, but he loves watching how animated Rooney gets about the topic. Yorinobu also finds it endearing when they smile since Rooney doesn't really smile often. (Rooney has a crippling case of RBF, haha.)
Rooney finds it endearing when he dances. (My headcanon is that neither is a good dancer, but they think the other person is.) They love how he lets go, and they love it when he drags them onto the dance floor, even if they can’t dance. Rooney also finds it endearing when he gives them a smile after waking up. Just kinda melts their heart.
Lust: Favorite Thing About Their Partner?
Physically? Rooney is one of those people who really likes hands. So, his hands. Yorinobu’s favorite part is their ass. If he has to be romantic about it, it is their freckles.
Personality wise? Rooney’s favorite thing is his passion, drive for what he wants to do. (Though, they do wish he would act less impulsively. Maybe take a deep breath or two.) Yorinobu’s favorite thing about Rooney is their strength, not allowing themself to be deterred. (Although, he does wish they would find themself in less dangerous situations.)
Unity: What would their wedding be like?
Overwhelming. Rooney always imagined they would probably have a small wedding if they got married. When you marry the CEO of the Arasaka Corporation, that isn't a possibility.
Yorinobu makes sure that their voice and wants are heard, especially when it comes to planning. Whenever someone, namely Hanako or the wedding planner, tries to take override Rooney, who's already putting up a good fight to get what they want, he steps in. @bbrocklesnar's Gabbi is also probably helping Rooney with wedding planning.
By the time the wedding is almost there, both are strongly contemplating eloping not to deal with it, but the pair end up having a good time.
Sleep: How do they sleep together?
Cuddled up with Rooney usually being the bigger spoon. However, some nights, Rooney tends to have really bad nightmares. On those nights, Rooney might sleep somewhere else not to disturb him.

Can you tell us more about Wilson's POV from realizing he's in love with House and deciding to arrange a whole fake wedding and House pushing him away when Wilson tries to kiss him and saying he won't come running and the confession scene when he puts his cards on the table? I know you had Wilson discuss it in Chapter 6 and I loved it so much but I'm greedy for more because oh my godddd that's insane (affectionate)
Hi anon, absolutely! Putting it under a read-more bc it got kinda long 😅
His first move, as we saw, was to cling to a beautiful damsel in distress and Repress™ literal seconds after having an earth shattering Oh God He's The One moment--we can skip past that, to him looking at engagement rings and thinking "oh ho, and once I'm engaged again, I can stroll right into House's office and he can't turn me away!" and then. I imagine him just sitting right down on the concrete curb. and going. "hmm. am I more excited to manipulate House into seeing me than I am to get engaged to my lovely girlfriend?" and realizing that despite all the layers of forced ignorance of his own feelings that yes, that is the case.
Cue going home to Julie, attempting to hash this out with her ("it's not that I don't love you...I just am also in love with my deranged pet wedding planner.") Julie, sensibly, is not moved by this, and leaves. Wilson finds he's relieved, which confirms that this was--despite being extremely scary and counter his usual instincts--the right call. Now, Wilson has time to Ponder. He wishes he could talk to someone like Cuddy about this, but then it would get back to Stacy and inevitably House, and Wilson knows he has to approach this Just Right, because he's on his last chance. He can't blow it by just talking to House about it--now that would be insanity. House would be halfway to California before Wilson got through "I love you"! Not to mention it wouldn't be Romantic. It Must Be Romantic, and Big, and Extra, or it wouldn't be worthy of the big extra romantic messed up thing he and House have.
Which is when he realizes: hey, the engagement idea? Still has merit! No actual fiancée required! (Would Wilson have made these Choices if he'd talked about his plans with literally anyone? If absolutely any other human being had heard his Scheme and been able to offer feedback on its, how to put it, loopiness? Who's to say….) So, he gathers up his courage, and blusters into House's office. And it works! He tells House to his face "I'm in love and this time, I'm not letting anything get in my way" and sure, maybe House doesn't get it yet, but he will!
And just as Wilson hoped, they're quickly spending sooo much time together, and it's romantic. They're drunk and babbling about invitation typography and Wilson has just gotta kiss him, this is it, House will kiss him back and Wilson can pop the "I'm single xoxo" surprise and they can ride off into the sunset--
And then House pushes him away. And Wilson's really scared because he thought he was on his last chance but it's actually worse, he's past that. He's on chance negative-one. He can't just pull out the "haha Julie's long gone, actually! also i'm in love with you and maybe always have been, how about you and I get hitched since we're on the topic." Not now. House is cold. He needs to be softened up. He needs to remember how good they were together. He needs to be able to imagine their future together. He needs to know that Wilson isn't just reaching for him because he's lonely, he's committed to House this time, he's choosing him. And what better way to do that, then to keep planning a wedding--their wedding?
So, they do all the wedding things, and Wilson makes sure at every turn that this is about them, for them. House says he hates weddings, but he clearly doesn't hate this, and Wilson knows if he could just get House to slow down and see marriage not as a prison but a promise, he would want it. It would make him happy, Wilson knows it (Wilson Knows Best), because House is needy and selfish and terrified of abandonment and if he could just believe that marriage would fix all that, then it could, because Wilson would give it all to him, forever...
And House is his friend again, but it's getting close to the wedding date, and House shows no signs of cracking or figuring it out. Wilson leaves it as late as he can, but now it's the night before and House still hasn't said anything (would it kill the guy to express a shred of feeling? well. yes.) so fine, Wilson is done playing games (for now), he goes to House's place and waits for him to turn up. And House falls right into his arms and oh fuck, why did Wilson wait so long, but it's delicious to taste all that pent up furious raging desire so really it's all working out. And this--this is the proof. House wants him back. Now all Wilson has to do is get down on one knee and whip out the ring, and sure, House will say no at first and maybe flip out a little and Wilson might have to sit on him to keep him from bolting away, but that's okay, because House loves him too Wilson can tell and that's all Wilson needed to be 100% confident in his absolutely ridiculous plan. House loves him, and so tomorrow, they are going to get married. The End.
Wilson definitely kept telling himself that this is The Only Way, happily ignoring the many other ways that exist. And that is why he and House are perfect for each other, because their broken worldviews slot together and complement each other so messily yet perfectly. Also, because absurd and hurtful deception is literally their foreplay.

I'm in need of advice since I'm thinking about starting au zoro x tashigi story. Since you wrote so many ZoTash fic, and I really like the way you portrayed them in canon and in AU stories, which of the following tropes do you think works for them? Love triangle, friends to lovers (enemies to friends to lovers), stuck together in some situation, second chance, fake dating, friends with benefits, soulmates/destiny, wedding setting – runaway bride/bridesmaid/best men/wedding planner, amnesia, opposites attract, oblivious to love, unrequited love, Emotional scars, Redemption, Rejected as unworthy by parents and former lovers, Pen pals and a secret baby. I pulled out everything I could! Sorry for the long ask and thank you so much!
I'm really flattered that you asked my opinion!
Fanfiction writers who scrutiny their writing to the point of driving themselves insane are faced with extra hardship since most of us write about established characters, which takes away certain freedom. You don't want them to be OOC, most of us anyway since I have friends who write and don't care about those things, but what is the point then? Why not write a story with original characters? Anyhow, I don't want to get far from the subject since there's a lot to unpack here.
Let me just say this first: I do not think my stories are the "right" way to portray Tashigi or Zoro (I especially have difficulties with writing him, even after 20+ stories and many, many drafts) but I do spend a lot of time thinking how they would react in situations I come up with or the ones based on prompts.
My answer would be that you can make most of the tropes you mention work as long as you have Zoro's and Tashgi's characters/personalities in mind. You can create a plot, but you have to always ask yourself what would they do in situations you decided to put them in. And is it something you think they would do or is it something you would do? I mean, you can only guess since they will never end up in those situations in manga/anime, especially since it's modern AU, but keep in mind their character traits, and behaviours and work slowly towards your goal. Think of small ways to create a bond between them. It doesn't all have to be romantic or sexual. In fact, they are both quite passionate and goal driven. You can use that for your story.
I want to address the tropes I think you will have to work extra hard to make them work, again based on my opinion and grasp of their personalities.
Love triangle - I think you need to be careful about this one. Jealousy goes hand in hand with it as well as unrequited love. I think all of them can work based on the misunderstanding which is the core of their relationship in canon. Jealousy cannot be tackled in the usual manner. You have to think of ways to hint at it but in their style, since they are unwilling to talk like adults, and suffer needlessly under their misconception. I wouldn't stretch it for painfully long though. I know it's a popular thing to do in romance novels, otome games, movies, and whatnot but Zoro and Tashigi burst under pressure when they are together so I feel like they would scream at each other their true feelings at some point. They are not good at hiding their emotions when they face each other. You know the example for Zoro already and for Tashigi, she loses a bit of her polite speech pattern when arguing with Zoro. I asked people who speak/read Japanese and they confirmed that Tashigi is one of the most polite charas in OP, so keep that in mind if you feel tempted to make her curse. You have to think of other ways to express her anger and frustration.
Friends with benefits - I don't mind this trope, but I absolutely hate it for ZoTash. Given their nature and personalities, I don't think they would engage in that type of relationship. Especially Tashigi, c'mon. Do you really think Tashigi would have that kind of relationship with her personality? She's extremely shy and uncomfortable about many things. She screams when her shirt is unbuttoned and you would have to make one heck of a plot to convince me as a reader.
Not sure about the runaway bride to be honest since I never thought about it 😅Other tropes you mentioned related to weddings can work I think, especially groomsman/bridesmaid or even Tashigi being a wedding planner or something.
Amnesia - I'm not a fan of this trope but I guess it can work, just do your proper research about people who actually have it/had it, and don't succumb to the trashy romance novels. It's overused, abused and mostly untrue.
Secret baby - Uhhh another trope I dislike, and I would advise caution. But, it can work, if you're prepared for writing and dealing with the emotional damage. I wouldn't handle it lightly like many romance books/mangas/movies do, and I would take it seriously and do some research/reading confessions/experiences from people who actually had to face similar difficulties since you want to mimic real life.
Basically, google is your best friend for everything, you just have to be willing to dig and take your time. Nothing is easy and believe me, if you are willing to invest time in proper built-up in your stories it will pay off later.
Good luck!
