erika babie pls close your eyes and walk with me here a minute 😌 all the characters played by pedro pascal have entered a mud wrestling tournament to compete for your affections. who will win your hand?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AMIRa AMIRA WHY?!? I THOUGHT WE LOVED EACH OtHER?!?
ok but honestly the idea of this wild mud gladiator wrestling match is kinda hot?? 👀 LMAO
But omg you really are one of the champs of “best questions to ask” 🥹
So…
I think honestly… that fight is gonna come down to a four way tie between these babes LOL ✨
Tumblr media
Joel is a stealth specialist and we don’t see him do much hand to hand in the series but we know he can fight!! Like there’s this scene in first episode of TLOU where he flat out just tackles this guard like it’s nothing 🥵
Our lovely Mandalorain, Din Djarin is honestly I think the best hand to hand combat out of all the Pedro boys and we’ve seen him during the series to flat out fight against opponents bigger than him, or enemies that our number him, and with his bare hands he wins???
And then Dave York and dear Frankie Morales (Dave is in the top right and Frankie is below!) are both military co op specialist, like…super trained in the special elite forces and I honestly can imagine them both hanging in the fight and making it to the end!!
there’s also a Pedro boy that’s a vampire but I’m not counting him because supernatural strength or not in my mind he can’t fight compared to these guys LMAO
In all honestly…between these four…I think the one who is winning is maybe Din 😭
And it’s mainly because i see him taking Joel out by his poor old knees and maybe managing to just be faster than the other two 🫢
BUT IM STILL SO TORN OMG WHAT HAVE YOH DONE TO ME?!? 😭😫
Also thank you I love you so much
NOW!! You gotta tell me…
…is there a Pedro boy that’s caught your eye?? 👀

talking to him more very much achieved. we just talked for like 4 hours in the kitchen holy shit I need to sleep
#I went into the kitchen to wash up wanting it to be a few minutes to get back to my parents by he came home at the same time#unsure what just happened honestly! as in I’m not sure what is going on from his end of the interaction#because I have never met anyone who would just do that before. like four hours straight when before we’d talked for periods of idk 10minutes#and he WAS engaged the whole time#granted he spent a significant amount of time talking. he talked far more than I did which is often the case but Im not sure how I felt here#I think he gets excited abt individual topics and. gets carried away is the wrong word but he gets absorbed in it#he spent a while talking me through the very complex maths he’s been doing recently#(he studies maths. also abt to start masters.) and was assuming a much stronger mathematical background than I have but I understood a bunch#he IS very good at explaining things and I was interested to a point but unfortunately I was not going to ask about individual theorems and#shit like that at 11pm. it was still super interesting I’m not downplaying that but I didn’t know half of what he brought up#there was basically no way I was going to understand much more than the vague concept anyway#anyway! also extremely into food. especially into traditional chinese cooking which is cool as fuck and I now know so much more abt food#I have never personally cared much at all about food. I enjoy when taste good and I enjoy cooking. he’s into the precision cooking#that he told me apparently Chinese and French food is the best in the world at. meant to be amazing at going for specific effects#oh he came back from a musical! apparently abt a woman with bipolar that was on in London I might check what that was. next to normal#cried 7 times. apparently he’s super into stories with that kinda emotional payoff. started telling me later abt tokyo animation#priest if you’re already seeing this I WILL be asking you abt it later but pls tell me whatever. he likes clannad and sound euphorium#bunch of others but those are the ones he talked most abt and started tearing up when he played me a song from clannad where the baby’s born#so I think biggest things I’ve learned are that he’s impressively in touch w his emotions (further damaging the straight guy case)#regardless it’s just nice to talk to a guy who talks abt stuff so openly it’s very refreshing#unsure how cultural differences factor in here. I would’ve expected it to go the other way but possible this is a degree more normal#and he’s very very academically minded. he learned Japanese bc was bored after high school and is doing a WHOLE lot of extra maths for fun#socially definitely very competent he’s very good at talking but a little more focused inward.#definitely did not notice the (admittedly extremely gentle) flirting throughout like when I complimented his bracelet#(this cute gold year of the rat thing his mum got him)#so yeah. was very fun talking to him. will process this for a while#I think this has definitely established that we could be friends if either of us pursue that after summer which is very cool!! will see#luke.txt

wonderstruck.
part one. tags: spencer reid x fem!reader. tech analyst!reader. early-s1!spencer. a/n: tech analyst!reader won’t leave my little brain. i hope u like this :) masterlist. requests are open !
You were 21 when you got recruited into the bureau. Barely a graduate, and already on a FBI watchlist. Honestly, the only reason you’re under their watchful eyes is because of a lapse in judgment.
To celebrate the semester ending, your roommate decided that you both needed to get drunk. Being a psychology major with a pre-med roommate leads to tequila shots in your own dorm room. It’s the convenience and comfort of your own space that got you so drunk. This situation led to this: you admitting to your roommate, with heavy eyes, that you can “hack, you know. I learned when I was 15.”
She sat up from her place on the floor.
“Really? I don’t believe you!” she giggles, and then hiccups.
“I so can!” there’s indignation and a want to prove yourself in the tone of your voice.
“Okay, show me!”
Shuffling on heavy feet, you plop down in front of your laptop. A few clicks and the comforting clacks of your keyboard, and then a window pops open. You look at the wide-gaped mouth of your roommate. “What are you hacking?”
You hum, “I don’t know.”
And then you remember the talk from a few days ago. Two agents from the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit came over to your college to talk about criminal profiling to psychology majors and anyone else interested.
Completely inebriated, you manage to hack into their database. Your hazy mind doesn’t forget to compliment the beauty and intricacy of the codes and firewalls you broke down.
At Quantico, Virginia, Technical Analyst Penelope Garcia rushes into her unit chief’s office.
“Sir, somebody is attempting to get into my system. I think they’re trying to communicate?”
Hotch follows Garcia into her office, the quickness of their steps catching the attention of Dr. Spencer Reid who was seated at his desk, skimming over a case report.
When Hotch gets into Penelope’s ‘lair’, his eyes squint, adjusting to the dimmed lights and bright screens. On the main monitor, a window displaying the barebones of a text chat is open.
<ATHEN411> ????
<ATHEN411> hiiiiidfgsd
<YOU> Who is this?
<ATHEN411> ohymgofd i didnt think anyonewould alsnwer
<ATHEN411> wh o it sthis?
<YOU> BAU Section Chief Aaron Hotchner.
<ATHEN411> omfdg i know uuu !! jason mentoined u
<YOU> Jason?
<ATHEN411> yhuhh jason digeon or sumn omg i cant tpoye
<ATHEN411> sorry
<YOU> Jason Gideon? How do you know him?
<ATHEN411 disconnected.>
You’ve completely forgotten about the conversation. Until, a few days later. You’re turning the corner of the hallway to get into your dorm. Backpack slung on a shoulder, arms full of your laptop, binders and a soft-bound copy of your final paper. You stop in your tracks when you see two men stationed outside your room’s door.
One man was in a shirt, jeans, and combat boots. He also had sunglasses on. The other had a permanent furrow to his brows, dressed formally in a suit and tie.
“Hi, can I help you?” you ask, hand reaching into your hoodie pocket for your keys and pepper spray.
The one in sunglasses holds up a badge and ID.
“FBI. I’m Agent Morgan, this is Agent Hotchner. Are you Y/N L/N?”
You gulp, wondering why they knew your name.
“Um, yeah. Why?”
“Can we talk somewhere private?”
Your bring out your keys, and you notice how Agent Hotchner eyes the pepper spray keychained to it.
“Um, yeah. We can talk inside? My roommate’s still out.”
You unlock your door and walk in, the agents following in after you. Dropping your bag on your desk chair, you turn to ask the agents, “How can I help you?”
Agent Hotchner asks, “Are you familiar with the name athen-four-one-one?”
You look up at them guilty.
“It’s athena-eleven.”
“So, it’s you?” Agent Morgan clarifies.
“Yes. How did you find me?”
The two men share a glance. A silent conversation passing with you unknowing.
“Two nights ago, you hacked into the BAU’s database.”
You look at them in suprise, “I did?”
“Yes,” Agent Hotchner says, passing a folder to you. Inside are images and a transcript of messages shared between a ‘P.GARCIA’ and ‘ATHEN411’.
“Oh my god,” you whisper, realizing what’s happening.
“I was drunk off my ass two nights ago! I’m so sorry,” that catches Agent Morgan’s attention.
“You were drunk?”
“Yeah, my roommate and I were celebrating our exams. I didn’t… Am I in trouble?”
Agent Hotchner raises a hand in a placating gesture, “You were drunk when you hacked into the bureau’s database?” Confusion and slight amusement evident in the tone of his voice.
“Yeah,” you confess, “It was just a dare! I don’t even remember much of it.”
Agent Morgan looks as if he doesn’t know what to think about the situation. You feel the same. Agent Hotchner extends a hand to get the file back from you, and you give it to him easily.
“Would you go with us back to the station?”
“What? For what? Am I being sued?”
“The opposite. I would like to conduct a proper interview.” Agent Hotchner explains.
“An interview? For what?”
“A job as a technical analyst at Quantico.”
You look at them, eyes furrowing in confusion and disbelief, “What? I can’t!”
“Why not?”
You gesture toward your desk, “I still have a paper to pass!”
Meeting Penelope Garcia was like a dream come true.
“I should have realized! The triple-stacked firewall should’ve been so obvious! The Black Queen signature!”
The blonde’s eyes sparkle, happy to meet a match.
“Athena-Eleven! I didn’t even notice you were in my systems until you sent your first message.”
You feel your chest puff up at the indirect praise.
“You were one of my idols,” you admit, “Your exposé on Griffith Industries was just… stunning! Absolutely flawless. You had a section in your code that I used to build my private server—” Agent Hotchner interrupts your spiel.
He gestures to the rest of the room, where agents were seated at a round table.
“This is Y/N L/N, the unit’s newest technical analyst. ” he says, and you give a shy wave. You get a wave back from the agent wearing glasses. He’s cute. Have you seen him before?
“This is Jennifer Jareau, our communications liaison,” you shake her outstretched hand. She’s so pretty, you start to think, gorgeous blue eyes too.
“You’ve met Derek Morgan,” Agent Hotchner says, and Agent Morgan gives a two finger salute, his hands wrapped around a coffee cup.
“Agent Jason Gideon,” you return his handshake, mumbling a shy; “Hello, sir. Nice to see you again.”
And then, “This is Dr. Spencer Reid—”
“Oh! You were with Agent Gideon at the seminar! You talked a bit about geoprofiling, and how an unsub’s subconscious can’t help but stick close to home, which helps you triangulate the—” Agent Hotchner lets out another soft cough.
“Um, yeah. I did. Nice to meet you,” he gives another small wave, smile close-lipped and awkward. Endearing. He’s really cute. “I don’t really shake hands.”
You nod, “I get that, germs and stuff. It’s actually, weirdly, safer to kiss.”
You don’t see the way JJ and Derek look at each other, nor do you notice when Penelope whispered, “Oh my God, there’s two of them.”
“Your code name, it’s for the Athena, right? The Greek goddess of wisdom, warfare, and handicraft?” Dr. Reid asks you, curiosity getting the better of him.
“Yeah. I love greek mythology.”
He gives you a smile, “I do, as well. I’m wondering about the eleven though. Does it mean anything?”
You tsk’d through your teeth, “The angel number 1111’s often seen as a spiritual wake-up call and awakening. I thought it was fitting, and I was 15 when I chose the name, okay? Excuse little old me.”
“That’s cool,” Dr. Reid admits. If he remembers your file right, you were barely 17 when you became a trademark and known name in underground hacking circles. He can’t properly meet your eyes, struck in awe. Athena. It’s perfect for you.
“Y/N formally starts her job with us in three days,” Hotch informs the team, “Be kind.”
With a final word, Gideon and Hotch start to return to their offices.
Derek straightens from his position on the office chair. “I am very kind!”
“He didn’t say anything about you,” Penelope teases.
“Ooh, that says a lot, Morgan. It says so much,” JJ teases back.
You smile at them, your new co-workers, taking the seat JJ was gesturing at for you. The three continue bickering, you start to tune them out as you make eye contact with Dr. Reid. The apple of his cheeks blush red, and you can’t stop the grin on your lips from getting wider. He’s downright enchanting.

this is an odd request so i understand if you don’t want to write it 🩷 but i was thinking what about reader having a night out or movie night with rhea damian and jey and rhea and jey going to sleep together (iykyk) and damian and reader realised that they were doing the deeds as they were sat in the living room and like make their reaction as funny and disgusted as they were 😂 reader being young and platonic would be even funnier as damian acting like a desperate father trying to distract reader from the noise upstairs 😂😂😂
terror twins x reader (platonic) / jey uso x reader (platonic) / rhea x jey

untraditional movie night
what started as a simple movie night at rhea ended up being the most awkward night of your life. things between rhea and jey were going good, you knew it, you saw it. from the way jey tagged along with you and the terror twins, from the way rhea asked you if she could bring jey everytime you had a dinner night at your house. you honestly didn’t mind, she was happy and after what happened between her and dominik, she deserved to be happy.
so, now, you and damian were laying together on one of rhea’s big comfy couches as she and jey were laying on the other one.
you were falling asleep as horror movies always tired you out. you weren’t a fan and rhea knew it but it was her house, her rules so movie night turned out to be horror night for that week.
next week they would be at your place and you knew you were going to get revenge on her, knowing that she hated musicals, you already knew three or four movies that you were going to show them.
as your eyes closed, damian saw that you were falling asleep so he gently laid your head on his shoulder so you wouldn’t feel uncomfortable.
he covered you a little with the blanket and continued to watch the movie.
about twenty minutes later, rhea yawned, catching damian’s attention.
“you tired mama?” jey asked to the dark haired woman next to him. she simply nodded “do you wanna go to bed?”
“please…” she yawned again.
“let’s go…” jey helped a tired rhea standing up. damian smiled seeing the way rhea was being taken care of. with such tenderness and grace, love and respect, that he was glad it was over between rhea and dom “damian, you can stay here if you want and finish the movie” jey spoke to damian.
“yeah absolutely. you know where the guest room is if you’re too tired…mi casa es tu casa” rhea tiredly said to damian.
he chuckled “thank you…i’ll finish the movie and then i’ll take princess y/n to bed” he joked seeing how fast it took you to fall asleep “goodnight guys” he smiled, waving at the couple.
they waved goodnight back and moved their way upstairs, where the master bedroom was.
40 minutes later and damian finished the movie but he wasn’t tired. he wasn’t even in the mood to start a new movie but he definitely wasn’t tired. so he started looking for something fun and entertaining to watch and he landed over the big bang theory. he probably saw it fifty times as it was one of your favourite tv shows but he didn’t mind. as soon as you heard the title rolling, you woke up. lifting your head from damian shoulder, you wiped your eyes and took a minute to reconnect with the ambiance you were in.
damian chuckled “do you have a radar or something?” he said referring to the moment you woke up when you heard the big bang theory song playing on tv.
“maybe…” you were still tired but definitely interested in whatever episode damian was watching.
as you two watched episode after episode, a strange noise came from outside - or so you thought.
at first you thought that it was someone of rhea’s neighbours, or some animals outside but the noise progressed, as if something was hitting the wall.
“what the…what is this noise?” you looked up at the window trying to see if there was something going on outside but everything was calm and quiet.
“i have no idea” damian looked at the window too. but then you both heard it, moans, coming from upstairs and not outside.
there was a moment of silence between the two of you. your face was in-between being shocked and disgusted, damian was just disgusted.
“tell me it’s not what i think…” you joked making damian close his eyes and take a deep breath.
“those fucking animals…” he growled. you couldn’t contain your laugh anymore and you bursted out laughing “it’s not funny y/n…they have guests here…don’t you have a little dignity?” he screamed, thinking they could hear him but he was so wrong. in the meantime you couldn’t stop laughing.
“this is hilarious” you laughed.
“no it’s not…what are they? fucking horny teenagers?” damian was mad.
you thought they would be finished soon. but they kept going, almost forty minutes later the noises stopped “finally…” you breathed.
you and damian shared a look. when the noise stopped you both relaxed against the couch, watching the episodes playing on the tv as the rain started falling down. everything seemed back to normality. damian moved the blanket so he could cover the both of you and when you tried to relax against his shoulder, you heard it again.
noises, moans coming from jey this time.
“no fucking way” damian murmured. you hid your head between his shoulders and the pillows behind you. your laughters could be heard through the walls of the house “don’t laugh y/n…you shouldn’t be hearing this things” you knew damian was very protective of you but you weren’t a kid anymore and it wasn’t like you’ve never had sex.
“let them have fun…” you tried to calm him down but he was pissed.
“two adults. two freaking grown adults, not teenagers. couldn’t they keep it in their pants for one more night? wasn’t rhea tired?” damian was like a desperate father with fifteen kids, always trying to keep the group together and grounding you in case you all needed it.
you laughed, smiling at damian’s reaction “damian calm down…please”
“stop laughing” his deep voice only made you laugh harder “kid…” he sounded annoyed but deep down you knew he could never be annoyed at you.
“is he calling her mami?” you tried to focus on what jey was saying to rhea but his moans were low so you couldn’t really understand.
“i don’t know. i don’t care. i don’t want to know…” he said grabbing the remote and putting the volume higher.
“she definitely called him papi earlier…”
“y/n please! go back to sleep…” he sounded desperate and you loved teasing him like that.
“oh i’m definitely gonna tease the both of them tomorrow…” you already knew that both rhea and jey would be so embarrassed by the idea of you hearing them but you couldn’t care less.
“how long is this gonna take…” damian raised his look up to the white ceiling and pretended to look everywhere to distract himself.
“he gotta be pretty good if they keep going…” you whispered but damian heard you and he was clearly disappointed by what you just said.
“really?”
“i’m guys saying…”
“no y/n, please don’t say anything” he growled. you tried to keep your mouth shut but you couldn’t stop laughing, not when rhea kept calling jey ‘papi’. you tried to focus on the show playing on tv but the whole rhea and jey routine was hilarious to you and annoying for damian.
it took four full episodes of the big bang theory for them to bed done, without counting the hour prior. when you found peace you fell asleep back on damian shoulder, letting the rain be your lullaby. damian spent the night watching tv, not getting much sleep as he was still shocked at the events of the night.
around seven in the morning he woke up and made some coffee - he much needed it. almost twenty minutes later the delicious aroma of coffee mixed with pancakes and bacon woke you up. you felt your stomach growling and you followed the perfume to the kitchen where you were met with a grumpy damian.
“not a word…” he whispered when he saw your little smirk.
you nodded, not hiding your smile and you poured yourself a cup of coffee.
rhea and jey met you in the kitchen about thirty minutes later and they both had the biggest smiles on their faces.
“good morning” jey smiled at the both of you. you returned his smile while damian ate more pancakes to avoid any weird conversation.
“did you sleep good?” rhea asked waiting for you to answer.
“uhm…yeah, you?” you were so in for teasing her.
“we did thank you…” she smiled as she sat next to damian.
“i can imagine that…” damian mumbled making rhea and jey look at each others.
“oh jey, right there…” you teased her, trying to replicate her voice. laughs filled the kitchen when you saw rhea’s cheeks getting redder and redder.
“you guys didn’t hear us, right?” rhea asked a little embarrassed.
“we heard everything, mami…” you teased her once more before damian shot you with a death stare, just like an angry father.
“oh god…” jey was embarrassed but not as much as rhea was.
“i guess you had fun…” you winked at her.
they were both speechless, trying to find words but couldn’t find none.
you were sure it was going to be an interesting morning with an angry damian and an embarrassed couple.

“He has to be a witness to what she finds out about herself. It was very important that she had her own agency and that she made this decision independently of him. But I agree, him witnessing it draws them together so much more. So, it went: buffoon, terrifying villain, seductive possible teacher, and then romantic lead. [Laughs] So, I had to find somebody who could play all four characters — buffoon, murderer, a gentle teacher, and then as a romantic lead. You can imagine as I'm writing this, I'm just like, “Who the fuck are we gonna get for this part? Who is going to be able to do this?”
“But I think the way that you see The Stranger and Osha almost immediately Yin and Yang-ing, there's also an argument to be made there.”
“Actually, in earlier drafts, The Stranger had a line from that movie, which is, "I have crossed oceans of time to find you." A lot of Gothic romances were referenced - Jane Eyre, Rochester and sort of the Byronic hero for those two.”
“I was sort of struggling with what the last moment was. I was kind of struggling with it. It was very important that they feel like equals. It was very important that they felt, honestly, like a power couple. I didn't think he should kiss her because, while he's earned her respect, she's earned his, he's earned her allegiance, and she's earned his, I don't know if he has earned that level of intimacy with her. There have been displays of intimacy, but it felt like they weren't there yet. And so I said, “What's a kiss but not a kiss?” [Laughs] I was like, “I’m sorry, I can't think of something.” And the actors came up with holding the lightsaber together, and as soon as that happened, Hanelle [Culpepper], the director of that episode, set up this gorgeous shot. I realized, I was like, “Oh my god, this is the end of Fight Club, and I'm obsessed!” The last line of that movie is, “You met me at a very strange time in my life.” [Laughs] It just didn't feel like we were quite there.”
“Oh, yeah! Again, they’re Sith. It's a different vibe. To me, it's gonna hit different because of their allegiance and who they are. So, yes, it is framed as romantic, but I do think, again, it's not gonna turn out great. I think if he's training her, “One to hold the power, one to crave it.” So they're starting off as equals, but what's gonna happen? Like in Romeo and Juliet, it's amazing because right at the beginning they're like, “Okay, these two die. Let's start the play.” As you're watching this incredible love story unfold, and it's one of the most beautifully iconic plays ever written, in the back of your mind, you're like, “This is not going to turn out well.”
“I want to clarify: They are not necessarily doomed or destined to fail as a team. But the Sith rule of two denotes a power imbalance. Which clearly, due to the final shot, is not their relationship. Also, Plagueis complicates their journey as Sith, because we know his apprentice is eventually Palpatine. They will not defeat him.”

📱 “Getting Along” [←Previous | Next→]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well in the end Sukuna ended up giving you a ride whether you liked it or not, finally, you arrived at Gojo's house and well, it's no surprise it's a mansion..how does he live here all alone??
As you both knocked the door quickly opened with gojo greeting the two of you, turns out everyone else was already there and they were just waiting for you two
As you both entered and took a seat suddenly uraume spoke up and gave a remark
"looks like the lovebirds came together Afterall"
Before you could say anything Sukuna already beat you to it
"were not even dating"
"yeah but I bet you wish you were"
You just looked at them with confusion? What do they mean by that? Before you could speak up about it gojo suddenly announced
"Since you two are here why don't you guys do some bonding for your project?" Gojo would say as he pointed to both you and Sukuna, I mean he has a point so nothing wrong with that
"how about you guys bake?" Shoko would throw a suggestion as she stopped the conversation she had and turned to look at the two of you
The moment you heard baking your eyes lit up as you grabbed Sukuna's hand and made your way towards gojos large kitchen
Everyone saw how you just grabbed Sukuna's hand so casually and how he didn't even mind?? How many times have you guys even held hands for his reaction to be like that??
The view from the kitchen is visible from the living room, so for short anyone could see what you two were doing
While everyone else was doing their own thing, playing games, gossiping, watching a movie you two were just playing around the kitchen as you baked..
Luckily none paid attention to the two of you, yet.
You could be giggling as Sukuna on the other hand was just smirking as you played around with the flour, to be fair he started it..you were making the cookie batter and when you asked for flour he threw some on your face
He expected you to get mad but you just giggled and threw some at his face, hopefully, gojo wouldn't mind the mess..
"wanna taste the cookie dough before I put it in the oven?"
"why not,"
He would grab a nearby spoon as he scooped up a small piece of batter and ate it
"it taste good"
"wait really?"
He nodded before picking up another portion of the dough with his spoon as he fed it to you
As he fed it to you everyone just had to see...
After that you two were finally done baking. You two baked cookies, brownies and some cupcakes
While everyone ate, you didn't really ate the desserts you made and Sukuna noticed
"why aren't you eating?"
"I'm not sure if I wanna try, what if it tastes bad?"
He'd roll his eyes before grabbing a brownie off the plate and feeding it to you once again, while he fed you the Brownie you two weren't aware of how you guys looked while doing it...
Everyone just looked dumbfounded you two could be a couple at this point...
And honestly you on the other hand? Didn't mind seeing it as a friendly gesture.. honestly how oblivious are you?
"see it tastes good doesn't it?"
"mhm I guess so,"
"wait here I'll make you a drink"
Before Sukuna could go leave and make the said drink, gojo just looked shocked, you get a drink but everyone else don't???
"what about us??"
"make your own drink,"
Once again everyone else just stared.
Sukuna was watching you as you drank the drink he made specifically just for you,
"it tastes good you should try it"
He could even protest because you already shoved the straw in his lips
Okay so suddenly you're both ignoring that you indirectly kissed 2 times?? Are both of you oblivious and clueless??
After eating all of you watched some movies, played some games, and then gossiped, which was what you all were doing currently
All of you were gathered around in a circle as you all shared some of the gossip you heard,
It was mostly you, Yuki, Gojo, and Uraume who were gossiping seeing how you four knew almost every drama happening in college
Uraume would be quiet for the time being as they saw how Sukuna kept staring at you throughout the whole thing, not to mention he even looked like he was smiling??
After everyone was done with all the activities time to actually go to sleep.. once everyone finished setting up their sleeping beds everyone eventually drifted off to sleep, everyone but Sukuna all he did was just stared at the ceiling as he smiled to himself as he recalled the events from earlier
After about 35 minutes, he heard some noises, as he looked around to see what, or who was making it his eyes landed on you as you kept moving around and how agitated your facial expression looked were you having a nightmare or what?
Should he go help?
Nah you'll be fine
So how come he walked towards your place and held you in his arms? And how come you suddenly calmed down and won't let go?
He didn't want to let go either, so his solution? To sleep with you of course! You won't mind right?
"are you seeing this?"
"mhm...there quite literally cuddling, watch when you bring up the topic he'll say 'hes just being nice' "
Both Geto and Uraume would say as they watched how both you and Sukuna were cuddling with one another
While on the other hand...Yuki and Gojo were taking pictures from every possible angle
Eventually as you woke up you sat down before locking eyes with geto and uraume
"slept well?"
Geto would ask you, while you just felt confused and tilted your head, before you could reply suddenly you felt someone beside you sit up as well,
As you turned to look and see none other than Sukuna,
"WHAT THE FUCK"
"Mhm you two were cuddling, gojo and yuki took pictures"
Uraume would say next,
"WHAT"
While you looked in complete shock Sukuna just stayed silent, it's too early for him to make a big fuss

teehee first ask thing :3c
i work at a movie theater and it sucks, literally the only thing that keeps me going is pretending someone going to see movies just to interact with me. tbh whenever i scan someone ticket and they’re cute, i’ll try to be at their theater whenever the movie end just to tell them “have a nice day!”
do what you'll want with this, i just wanna share my delusions ^^
hihi omg this is so cute, i wrote a little something about it !!
(i wrote this at like four am on a googles doc and didn’t proof read — pls forgive me for the kinda lame writing ;;;)
Tumblr media
You’re tired. Extremely tired. If you got a coin for how many times somebody had asked you a stupid question — you’d be able to quit your job by now.
The smell of popcorn and off brand candy lingers in the air; you feel sick to your stomach as you look at the clock. 3 more hours of your shift left, god, you close your eyes for a solid minute — imagining yourself in your nice warm bed away from all the noise, smell and buzzing food machines.
Fortunately, it seems as the flurry amount of people had dispersed after the screenings of the new trending movie had stopped at a certain time. You hum a sigh under your breath, the theater was almost empty, You prayed to whatever was listening to you that a group of teenagers wouldn’t just burst in and charge towards your counter.
You decide to pass off some time by restocking the candy shelves by your desk, grimacing at the overpriced labels when you suddenly hear a small cough.
Looking up, you notice a very familiar customer beaming at you with a big smile. Their eyes light up, and you can't help but change your tired expression to one that matches theirs.
“Hey! How’s your shift going Y/N?” The man smiles, fidgeting with his hands as he eagerly looks at you.
“Good as a shift can get Matteo, how’s your day going? This is the third time you came this week — Must’ really like movies.. new world record huh?”
You respond back, with no malice in your tone, exchanging banter with your favourite customer. He comes so often to the theatre, that you guys are already on first name basis.
Honestly, the only reason he was your favourite customer was because of how how nice and pleasant he was to chat too.
Matteo would arrive with a warm smile, always making a beeline for whichever counter you were working at. You guys would chat about the latest releases, obscure indie films, and laugh over the messiness of children running around.
You’d remember the first time he came into the movies with his friends, his eyes would linger on you every now and again whilst ordering — you never really paid any mind to it.
Matteo raises his eyebrows as you question him. “…Really like movies?” A pause between the two of you as you nod awkwardly, before his eyes widen in realisation.
“Oh yeah— yeah! I love movies hahaha…! Movies are great.. awesome, spectacular, so fun!!” He says laughing, wiping his eyebrow and grinning extremely wide.
Rapidly changing the subject, Matteo places one of his arms on the counter. “The movie you recommended to me two days ago was so funny! I loved it, anything new for me today?”
To be frank, you could not recall what movie you told him to watch, and you doubt you even watched it yourself! However, seeing the gleam in his face — you didn’t have the heart to tell him so.
You shift your head slightly to see behind Matteos head, the small list of movies that were going to play soon. Selecting the most cool sounding one, you look back at him.
“There’s a movie called ‘Argan Gate’ that came out recently in theatre 3?”
His smile becomes even more radiant (which you didn’t know could be possible) as he looks through his bag, “Sounds perfect! I’ll take a ticket!”
Matteo hands you his money, your fingers brushed slightly, The man freezes as he just stares at your hands for a solid few seconds before zoning back in with flushed cheeks.
“…I’ll tell you how the movie was after, see you at your next shift?” He says with a flustered look. You mutter a small okay with a wave as he walks to the movie screening.
You wonder for a second on how he’d know when your next shift is, and why he watches every single thing you recommend him. Pausing as you stare at his back with a narrowed gaze before you shrug your shoulders, going back to restocking the shelves
‘He must just really really love movies.’

Chapter 2 romance
Tumblr media
"You were part of the science guild?" Lena asked, astonished.
They were in Zor-El's lab in the floating city of Argo. After showing them the plans, he insisted on giving them a tour of his new lab in the guild's grounds.
"Yeah," Kara simply mumbled in response.
"Not only that," Zor-El continued. "But she was the top of her class! She was going to be the youngest member in all of Krypton's history."
"Father, you're exaggerating."
"Not at all. She has been my personal assistant in my lab since she was five years old, helping me finish that kellex update that was driving me crazy."
"I never knew." Lena studied Kara's familiar figure. She still found so many ways to surprise her, Lena wondered what else she was hiding under that sheepish smile.
"That I was a nerd?"
"No, that I knew, I have seen your watch history on netflix. But I never knew you were into science, you always seemed baffled when I talked about it."
"Yeah, well, earth has different terminology you see, also a slight difference in gravity, which makes things different, not to mention the periodic table and all of that… But I also just wanted to dive into something different after I came to earth." Kara studied the table closely, testing the edge of it with her fingernails. Her smile, while still very present on her face, never really reached her eyes.
"And why is that, Inah? You could've advanced earth's understanding by lightyears," Zor-El proclaimed.
"It's just–" she stopped for a moment, "didn't seem right at the time." She finished instead, flashing her father a bigger grin. Kara's eyes were always smiling, but Lena could see how forced the smile really was, as if there was something else simmering underneath.
"Kara,I could really use some fresh air. Why don't you join me?" Lena quickly suggested it before Zor-El could respond.
"Yeah."
The air in Argo felt different. She wasn't sure if it was for the lack of pollution, or simply the fact that it was an alien territory.
"Do you want to go back? We got what we came for. I know you said you wanted to spend some time with your parents, but you seem so uncomfortable Kara, we can just go back."
"No," Kara trailed away with uncertainty. She was quiet for a while. Lena decided to wait  for her to continue as they walked side by side through the alien city Kara once called home.
"I should want to spend time with them right? They are my parents. Wouldn't you want to spend more time with your mother if you had the chance?" Kara asked, almost pleading for something in her voice.
"I… yes?" Lena wasn't sure what to say. "I would like to say yes, but I don't know… I found so many things out about her when I visited her hometown. I suppose I don't really know what she was really like, if we would even get along." That trip to Ireland really shook the image of her mother she had conjured in her mind, she was quite honestly afraid to learn more.
"We never really know our parents do we?" Kara chuckled bitterly. She paused for a moment before she continued. "I wanted them so badly when I first came to earth. I saw them everywhere, from the supermarket, to my school teachers to my dreams, always coming to rescue me back home. I looked up to them, I always wanted to impress my mum, and I wanted to be just like my dad when I grew up." Kara stopped next to some railing at the end of the town, securing the cliff from falling to the refugee encampment below. She rested her arms on the top of the cool metal and looked at the sky, her eyes drifting miles away.
"Then why didn't you pursue science on earth?" Lena asked gently.
"Kal and the Danvers were always going on about how I should hide my identity, anything that might make me alien. It's not just my powers, it was the cultural differences, mannerism, accent, pop culture, everything. You know I learned calculus when I was four, so I feared showing any of that in school would raise suspicion." She took a deep breath and turned to face Lena, leaning her back against the railing. "Also, I suppose, after a while, thinking about that stuff just started to hurt. It always reminded me of home, and it just hurt to think about it."
"I'm sorry if I ever made you uncomfortable in any way." Lena took a step closer, but feared reaching out. She held herself out of habit, fearing she might have hurt her best friend for years without realising it.
"No, Lena you didn't hurt me, quite the opposite actually. After years I managed to avoid thinking about it, I focused on other activities and studies and just tried to keep myself from sticking out. After becoming Supergirl I learned some new information about my parents, realised that everything I thought about them was wrong. I held both them and Krypton on such a high pedestal, without even knowing them at all, not really anyway. When I met you, you reminded me of why I fell in love with science, engineering and innovating. You always talk with so much love and enthusiasm about each project, always trying to make the world a better place. You made it everything I thought it was, everything it should be."
Lena felt her cheeks flash as a smile spread on her face. "Maybe we can try to work on it together. If you're interested of course." She walked next to the railing, putting both hands to stabilize herself as she looked at the valley below.
"Yes. I'd love that." Kara smiled, turning back towards the valley only shifting closer to Lena so they stood almost shoulder to shoulder.
"Good. Then we can maybe even finish it in time for their wedding, it would be the perfect timing for them to know that they can feel secure about their future and know they can raise a family in whatever way they choose."
Kara let out a small laugh, almost a giggle as the smile finally returned to her face.
"What?" Lena inquired with a matching smile on her lips.
"It's just, everything on earth is always so romantic."
"Romantic?"
"Yeah. It was always so cold and calculated on Krypton. Everything has a very clear purpose and the drive for creation was always efficiency. But on earth there's always a story, a connection. Everything feels like art, you lot romanticise everything. It's one of my favourite things about earth."
Lena's smile grew wider. Despite everything she went through, Kara still had this wonderful optimistic and hopeful outlook on everything that radiated positivity wherever she went. Lena let herself bask in it whenever she could, feeling lucky to simply be granted the opportunity. She wasn't sure what possessed her to ask her next question.
"Do you want kids?" Her body flushed red hot when she realised what she just asked.
"Yes, I always wanted kids." Kara answered simply, as if she didn't find the sudden question strange. "How about you? Do you want kids?"
Lena took a moment, taking a deep breath before she answered. "I… Well, I grew up with the Luthors and they are not the kind of family you want to bring a child to." She said with a forced smile.
"But, do you want to?"
"Maybe? Yes. I suppose with the right person. I fear I might be a terrible mum."
"What? No! Lena, you would be an amazing mother. I just know it." Kara's smile almost made her believe it. "You'd have two amazing super smart kids-"
"Two?" Lena asked, amused with a raised brow.
"At least two," Kara nodded to herself. "And they would be the smartest kids in school and win every award in whatever sport they choose to participate in."
"Oh, are they athletes, too?"
"Of course, sport is very important Lena." Kara answered seriously.
Lena laughed in response. She loved how ridiculous Kara could be.
"And I would spoil them rotten of course. Giving them the best snacks and telling them the funniest jokes."
"You would, wouldn't you." It was said as a statement. Damn Kara and her descriptions, she could almost see it in her mind.
"Yes! I would be the coolest aunt! Their favourite aunt Kara." She finished with a satisfied grin.
"Aunt Kara." Lena's words felt bitter in her mouth, yet she tried to force her best genuine smile.
"And you would get to be cool aunt Lena as well, of course. Oh, we should definitely try to have our kids at the same time so they could grow up to be best friends." Kara added excitedly.
"Yeah," Lena feared her smile might come off as a bit manic. "We certainly should."
"We'll make sure they know they have no expectations they need to fulfill, so they can grow up free to be who they are." Kara continued in a lower voice, saying it almost to herself, turning her head to watch the sky.
"You'd make a great mum too, Kara." Lena said with all the honesty she could master, probably carrying slightly more emotions then she intended.
Kara smiled, shifting a bit closer, to lean some of her weight on Lena's shoulder as they continued to watch the starry night above them.

Chapter Eighteen
The whole world came crashing down around you in a single moment.
You didn’t realise until it was too late to stop it, until it was too late to change anything and avoid the inevitable consequences.
The private investigator took the envelope full of cash before sliding the file across the table to you, sparing you one last glance and a couple of words of warning before climbing out of the booth and heading towards the exit. Your gaze followed him out of the diner and onto the street, where he walked past -
Your heart stopped.
Frank.
He had his phone out, pointing right at you through the diner window, a mix of betrayal and disappointment on his face. It took a moment to figure out what was happening, for the penny to finally drop, but when it did, you felt your entire body fill with panic; he thought you were the security threat, the person who’d been digging into anvil over the last couple of months.
Your heart started to race, knowing that he was going to tell Billy what he thought he’d seen, that he’d seen you paying off the PI who’d been snooping around Anvil. You scrambled out of the booth, almost tripping over your own feet, desperate to get to Frank and fix the situation before it spiralled out of control.
But he was already on the phone by the time you got outside. You kept the file clutched to your chest, holding it against you like a shield as you approached the imposing figure of Frank Castle, stomach knotting as you heard him speak.
“Yeah, Bill, I’ll deal with it,” his eyes fixed on you as you stopped in front of him.
You waited in silence, for a moment thinking you could just about hear Billy’s voice on the other end of the phone before Frank hung up and dropped his phone into his pocket.
“I’m gonna need you to give me that,” Frank said, holding out his hand, expecting you to hand the file over.
“I can’t.” Because, despite everything that was happening, you knew one thing for sure; you couldn’t let anyone see the file, couldn’t let them know about your past.
“Y’know, the crazy thing is that I thought Bill was gonna be the one to break your heart, not the other way around,” Frank shook his head.
“You don’t understand -”
“Pretty sure I do,” he interrupted, not willing to listen to your explanations, “you’ve had your PI lookin’ into Anvil and Bill for weeks now, so give it up.”
“No, that’s not -” but you could already tell that he wasn’t going to listen to you, that he’d made up his mind. “I need to see Billy, I have to explain this to him.”
“That’s great ‘cause he’s already waiting at Anvil for you.”
You stared at him for a moment before realising that you had a choice to make - he couldn’t very well bundle you into his car in broad daylight, but you were aware how bad it would look for you if you refused to go with him. You’d just given up every single dollar to your name for the file in your hand and, now, you needed to make sure that it hadn’t all been for nothing.
“Okay,” you relented, “take me to Billy.”
Frank gave a grunt and nodded towards his truck. You followed after him, climbing into the passenger seat and keeping your eyes fixed forward. Once he’d started the engine, you reached for your phone, hastily typing up a message to Karen, wanting to try and explain what was going on before Frank told her.
“Who you texting?” Frank asked suddenly, taking his eyes off the road.
“Karen, I -” he snatched your phone before you could finish, your thumb managing to hit send on the half finished message as he pulled it away from you. “What the fuck?”
“You’re not draggin’ Karen into this shit,” he told you, his eyes returning to the road just in time to keep from running a red light - a sharp stop that caused your anxiety to spike even more, reminding you of the accident years ago. You were so distracted that you only caught the last half of what Frank was saying, “- when Bill’s done with you.”
You didn’t argue, didn’t ask him to repeat himself. You just wanted him to concentrate on the road. So, you remained silent, clutching the file to your chest and watching out the windscreen. The way he drove across the city made your heart race and your chest tighten, practically jumping out of your skin with every screech of brakes or honk of a horn.
And, when you reached Anvil some fifteen minutes later, you were quick to scramble out of the truck, almost gasping for breath.
He gave another grunt, indicating that you should follow him and, stupidly, you did just that. You didn’t realise that anything was wrong until you were in the elevator and realised that you were being taken down to the basement level instead of up to Billy’s office.
“Why aren’t we going to Billy’s office?” You asked, dread already starting to coil in your stomach.
“Bill doesn’t want you in his office,” Frank answered as the doors slid open, revealing a cold and terrifying looking corridor.
“I want my phone back.” You told him, unable to stop the fear from filling your tone.
“Told you, you can have it back when Bill’s done with you,” he motioned for you to start moving and, with no other option, you did.
When the elevator doors slid shut, your thoughts started to spiral to dark places you didn’t want them to go, to memories of feeling trapped and powerless. A lump rose in your throat and tears were already starting to sting your eyes as your footsteps echoed down the long hallway. When Frank stopped and opened a door, you let him usher you inside before you realised your mistake.
The door closed behind you, leaving you trapped and alone in what appeared to be an interrogation room. Had your state of mind been better, you might have realised that the room was used for training new recruits and conducting interviews but, since you were panicking, all you could think was that you were going to be trapped there until you confessed to all of the things you hadn’t done.
You turned back to the door quickly, pulling at the handle. You weren’t surprised to find it locked, but it did nothing to stop the panic that was raging inside of you.
The room had a long metal table and two chairs, one on either side, but you didn’t move to sit. You couldn’t move at all, terror had you rooted in place, your fingers still tightly gripping the file against your chest. There was a camera blinking in the corner of the room and you felt your stomach drop; was Billy watching you right now, could he see the terror on your face? (And, if he could, why wasn’t he coming to help you?)
Minutes passed before Billy stepped into the room. You stayed frozen as he stepped around you and you waited - you waited for him to tell you that this was all some big mistake, that he knew you’d never do the things Frank had accused you of. But it never came. As he took a seat, your eyes closed tight, silently willing yourself to wake up from this nightmare.
Another minute passed in total silence, like he was waiting for you to speak first and dig your own grave, but you couldn’t even look at him, much less form the words you needed to explain all of this to him.
“Just give me the file,” he finally said.
“I can’t,” you shook your head, eyes still closed tight.
“Who are you working for?” There was something cold in his voice, something broken and full of pain and, despite everything he was putting you thought, some part of you longed to comfort him.
“No one, I’m not -”
“Don’t lie to me!” The sound of his open palm hitting the surface of the table caused you to flinch, your eyes opening as you took a step back and pressed yourself against the wall, needing to put as much distance between you and Billy as possible. “You paid someone to look into Anvil, into me.”
“No, that’s not what happened! You don’t understand -”
“What were you after; finances? Mission details? How much were you getting paid?” His tone got sharper with every word.
“I wasn’t after anything, that’s not what this is. It’s not about Anvil -” you tried desperately still, somehow, holding onto some small glimmer of hope that you could fix things before they got too broken.
 “Bullshit!”
“Please, Billy,” you struggled to find the words in your panic, “you promised that you’d trust me, that you’d -”
“I did trust you!”
His use of the past tense caused something to break inside of you, and you felt a sort of pain that you hadn’t felt in years, the sort of pain that could only be inflicted by someone you loved.
“Stop, please, Billy just -” you tried again, blinking back tears.
Everything was falling apart around you, the future you’d let yourself hope for was slipping away; you were going to move in with him, you were going to go work for The Bulletin, and you were finally going to start rebuilding your life after so many years of just existing and scraping a living. All your dreams were dying all at once, all because he wouldn’t listen to you, because he couldn’t trust you.
Some part of you knew that if you could just find the words, you’d be able to make him understand, but your panicked, racing mind couldn’t focus enough to say or do anything to help fix things.
“How long?” He asked coldly, ignoring your tears. “How long have you been lying to me, using me?”
“I wasn’t lying! Why won’t you listen to me? Why can’t you trust me?” You heard yourself begging desperately.
“Because you’ve been lying to me for months!” His voice got louder, sharper, and you no longer recognised the man in front of you. This wasn’t your Billy, this was someone else entirely. “You know, you really had me fooled, pretending to be this wounded little thing, acting like you wanted me, like we had something.”
“It wasn’t an act!” You managed to raise your voice to match him, desperate to make him listen, to convince him that you still cared, but Billy didn’t even seem to hear it. “Please, just - just let me explain. I can explain this.”
“Explain what? That none of this was real? That you tricked me into wanting you so you could get close enough to stab me in the back? Did you get paid extra to fuck me or was jumping into my bed just part of the game for you?” You could still hear the pain in his tone, but the moment Billy said those words to you, something inside of you snapped.
Your stomach continued to tie itself in knots. You hated every little thing about this, hated how he thought you were as bad as all of the other people who had used him and lied to him to get what they wanted. But your pain quickly started to turn to anger - he wasn’t the only one who’d ever been hurt, he wasn’t the only one who’d been lied to and used. As hurt as Billy obviously was by this whole situation, he’d broken his promises to you; he wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t hear you out, wouldn’t trust you.
You were being blamed for something you hadn’t done and you were going to lose everything because of it. Again.
“You think I jumped into bed with you?” Your tone turned sharper, colder, and more certain - because, in all of this, if you were certain of one thing, it was that you did not just jump into bed with him. Finally you had his attention, just in time for you to tell him; “falling in love with you is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, Billy. And you’ve just managed to prove why it was such a stupid idea.”
It was the first time you’d dared utter that you loved him aloud, but you were no longer scared of how he was going to react to the revelation or how vulnerable it would make you feel. It was too late to care about any of that. You’d come to Anvil hoping to save things with Billy but that dream was now over.
And, for the first time since all of this began, you realised that the truth of your past couldn’t hurt you anymore. It didn’t matter if Billy knew because he’d already given up on you, whatever was between you was over now, and everything you’d done to try and preserve it had been for nothing.
“Fine,” you relented, forcing yourself to step away from the wall and towards the table. Once you were close enough you slammed the file down in front of him so hard that its contents spilled out across the table; photographs of you, notes about your work, your friends and your finances.
Billy’s eyes dropped, quickly looking over it, starting to move things, rummaging through the paperwork, trying to make sense of it.
“It was never about you or Anvil. He was looking for me. And I just spent every penny I had paying him off so I wouldn’t have to leave New York, so I wouldn’t have to leave you. But I guess the jokes on me, because you don’t even care enough to keep your promises to me and just listen for five fucking minutes.” By the time you’d finished, you had to cover your mouth to try and suppress the sobs that were desperate to escape you.
Billy stayed silent, rifling through the pages and photographs in front of him, seeming to become more frantic with every passing second as he looked for something, anything, to prove that he hadn’t just destroyed your relationship for nothing.
You watched him for a second, knowing exactly what he’d find in the file, and knowing the questions he’d inevitably have for you when he found the details of your sister's death, and the car crash that had left you scarred. But it was too late for any of that now, he’d lost any right to ask anything about your past.
Moving back to the door, you gave the handle a sharp tug, even though you were pretty certain that the door was still locked.
“Wait -” his broken tone caused you to bristle. Where once you would have felt compassion, you now only felt anger.
“Let me out.”
“I don’t understand,” he told you, as he got to his feet and started to move towards you, his expression one of confusion instead of anger. You held up a hand, wanting him to keep his distance and Billy stopped. In his hand he was holding a copy of the photograph that he’d seen on your bedside table all those weeks ago, the photo of you and your siblings as children. “Please, help me understand this. I want to understand.”
“Which part, Billy? The part where you refused to listen, when you wouldn’t hear me out, when you wouldn’t trust me like you promised?” A hand scrubbed at your cheek, desperately trying to wipe away your tears, not wanting him to see just how much he’d wounded you. “Or the part where you thought so little of me that you thought I was fucking you just to get information on your company?”
“I didn’t know, I -”
“You wouldn’t let me explain!” You yelled and it was Billy’s turn to flinch at your tone. “I gave up everything I had to get that file, and now it doesn’t even matter. None of this matters anymore.”
“It matters, it -” he tried, obviously struggling for words, “- why didn’t you tell me?
“Why didn’t you believe me?” you threw back at him. ”Why is it so hard for you to trust me? Do you even trust anyone?”
“I’m sorry, I never -”
“Just - just stop. It’s too late.” You shook your head. It hurt too much and every word, every plea that left him only made the ache in your chest feel worse. “You promised me that you’d listen. I trusted you and you ruined it. You’ve ruined us.”
“No... don’t say that. Please, don’t say that.” His voice continued to crack and break, and it was almost enough to make you want to back down, but you knew you couldn’t. Not after this. He’d broken his promise to you and left you feeling more wounded and alone than you’d ever felt. “I’m sorry, let me fix this, sweetheart, please.”
“Fix this?” You almost managed to laugh through the tears. “There is no fixing this, Billy. You’ve ruined it. You broke my heart.”
“No, no... please, I -” for a moment he looked at you like those three little words were on the tip of his tongue, like he was ready to confess his love, but you didn’t want to hear it.
“Just stop. You don’t get to fight for me, Billy. Not now. Not after this.” You told him angrily. “I told you I couldn’t do this if you didn’t trust me.”
“You said you fell in love with me,” the words came out so softly that you almost didn’t hear them.
You could see the thinly masked distress on his face, the pain and misery that you’d managed to cause with that one, silly admission. You hated yourself for blurting it out like that, like you were some character in a soap opera or some shitty romance novel. And, if he’d been anyone else, you might have been angrier at his obliviousness to your feelings - of course you’d fallen in love with him, it had been so fucking obvious - but Billy had always been honest with you; he didn’t know love, didn’t understand it. All the people who were supposed to love him and abandoned him.
But not you. That was not what this was. You weren’t abandoning him, he’s pushed you to breaking point. This time it was Billy’s fault.
“What did you think was gonna happen?” You dared to ask, not even bothering to try and hide your pain anymore. “I’m not like you, Billy, I can’t just turn off my emotions whenever things get difficult.”
“You love me?” He took a step closer, the look on his face suggesting that he still thought that there was some way that he could fix things.
“It doesn’t matter anymore.”
“It matters to me, please, I -”
The door opened and, before he could finish that thought, you were rushing back out into the hallway, trying to put as much distance between yourself and Billy as possible. He followed after, your name dying on his lips when he saw Karen and Frank standing there.
“Sorry, Bill, she -” Frank started, looking at Karen who was now holding your phone.
“You’re both assholes,” she stated and neither man dared argue with her. Obviously, thankfully, she’d managed to figure out what was going on and where you were just from the half of a text message that you’d managed to send before Frank had confiscated your phone.
Her arm quickly pulled around your shoulders and she started to lead you towards the elevator while you tried to choke back tears. You didn’t dare look back until you were in the elevator; Billy looked heartbroken, following after you but keeping his distance.
“Please, I -” he tried.
“You’ve done enough, Billy. Just leave her alone.” Karen snapped as the doors slid shut and, a moment later, the floodgates opened and you started to sob uncontrollably, knowing that you’d lost everything.
TWO HOURS EARLIER.
Your heart was racing, thumping out a painful and uneven beat in your chest.
When Karen had told you that a private investigator had been asking around about you at The Bulletin, you’d put things together pretty quickly. You had her set up a meeting later that morning for you, hoping that you could fix things before they got out of control, even though your every instinct told you to pack a bag and get out of New York as quickly as you could.
You didn’t want to have to run, you didn’t want to leave the life that you were starting to build in the city. You didn’t want to leave the man that you loved.
Before heading to the diner to meet the PI, you stopped at the bank, withdrawing every penny that had, hoping that it would be enough, hoping that you could pay him off and fix everything before things spun out of control.
He was already waiting in the diner when you arrived, sitting in a booth by the window; a grizzled looking guy, well into his forties, who’d obviously been in the PI game for decades. As you slid into the seat opposite him, you felt your guts start to twist with a mix of anxiety and fear.
“If I’d known that this was the quickest way to get you out of hiding, I’d’ve done it weeks ago,” he stated before you’d even gotten comfortable. “I take it you wanted to meet to make me an offer?”
You took a breath, trying to steady your still-racing heart. “How much would it cost for you to go back to Florida and pretend you couldn’t find me?”
He almost seemed shocked that you knew where he was from for a second, but it was quickly hidden behind a lazy sort of smile.
“More than you’ve got,” he stated and your heart sank. “I’m a little surprised that you don’t seem surprised by any of this.”
“I’m not,” you offered, already feeling like you were wasting your time. “I knew it was only a matter of time before Scott started looking for me. Did he tell you why - did he tell you why he wants to find me?”
“No, and I didn’t bother to ask - usually don’t when the money’s this good.” He shrugged before sitting forward in his seat. “Go on then; what’d you do to this guy? I figured you either broke his heart or you took something of his. Must’ve been something big for you to spend these last few years running all up and down the country.”
“I didn’t do anything,” you voice cracked at how helpless you suddenly felt, “He tried to kill me, and that’s probably why he wants me back.”
That seemed to unsettle the PI and you decided to use it to your advantage.
“I take it you know about the accident?” You asked and the PI gave an awkward sort of nod, not knowing what point you were going to try to make. “It wasn’t an accident, he deliberately swerved the car off the road because I’d finally told him that I was leaving him.” Your voice continued to crack, threatening to break. “He pulled himself out of the car and left me there to die. I had to crawl through fire and broken glass to save myself,” you rolled up your sleeve, letting him see the scars, along with the sickening S that Scott had carved into your skin. “That’s why he wants to know where I am. He wants to finish the job.”
The PI let out a slow exhale and it was more than obvious from the way he shifted in his seat that he hadn’t been expecting that story, that he’d been lied to and used by Scott.
A trembling hand wiped at your eye, you were determined not to cry despite everything you’d just been forced to reveal.
“Look, I feel for you, but this is a big payday and -”
You reached into your purse and quickly placed the envelope on the table between you.
“That’s everything I have,” you told him, sniffing back tears, “you can have it all, just - please, give me the file and don’t tell him I’m here. I just want to be able to live my life. I don’t want to have to start over again.”
“You’d leave that rich boyfriend of yours?” He asked, like he almost didn’t believe what you were trying to tell him.
“If I had to. But I don’t want to. Scott has already stolen years of my life, please don’t help him take more. There’s just over fifteen grand in that envelope, I know it’s not a lot but -”
Your heart threatened to stop as he picked up the envelope and started thumbing through the stack of notes inside.
“This is everything you’ve got,” he stated with the certainty of someone who’d looked into your accounts. “You’re willing to give up everything just to make sure this guy doesn’t find you?”
“Yes...”
The moment that followed seemed to linger for an eternity; him looking at you like he was trying to decide what to do, while you stared back, silently praying to any god that might listen to you.
There was no holding back the relieved sob that slipped from you when he finally put the envelope in his pocket and slid the file across the table to you.
“I’ll tell him I lost track of you after the six months you spent in Chicago.”
“Thank you.
He gave something of a grumble as he started to pull his coat on and got to his feet, ready to walk away, but something made him stop. “Y’know, that boyfriend of yours isn’t as squeaky clean as you think. I’d be careful if I were you - and, maybe, you should ask him where his mother is.”
He didn’t give you the chance to ask what he meant, before he turned and left the diner, your gaze following him out the door and onto the street, watching as walked right past Frank Castle, who was holding his phone and photographing the entire exchange.

Bully
Bully!Soap x gn!reader (college/highsool whatever au)
It's the last evening you're all together and you can't wait to leave it all behind. Your bully finds you one last time and his intentions are not what you expected
Hurt no comfort, reader getting closure (kinda?)
Warning: Soap is an asshole in this,I'm sorry y'all
Tumblr media
Finally it’s over. You’ll be free come morning. Free of classes and professors and classmates and most of all free of bullies. You can do what you want and wherever you’ll end up, it will be a completely new chapter in your life.
You just have to get through this one evening. Honestly you considered not coming to the graduation party, you didn’t really have a connection to anyone anyway. But you came to the conclusion that it would be a nice way to say goodbye to these four years of hell.
You pushed through, you did it and after this evening you won’t have to see any of these spawns of hell ever again. You haven’t had this much peace of mind in a long time. The certainty of things finally being done makes you feel more confident so you don’t really glance up when John fucking MacTavish decides to join you.
What he could want now, on the last evening of all of you seeing each other, eludes you. Maybe he wants to get on your nerves one last time. Bully you one last time but suddenly you don’t even care. Let him be an ass, you won’t have to see his irritating face ever again come morning.
“Hey, ugly. Surprised you decided to show your face here. Can’t be that anyone invited you.”
He’s smirking down at you with that annoying, cocky smirk that makes so many girls swoon. You don’t even look up at him, leaning back on the steps leading down to the backyard of whoever’s house this is. You take another sip of your drink.
“Still haven’t found your voice after all these years, huh, mutt.”, he continues to goad you and finally you look up at him, meeting his eyes.
It’s really sad, that he’s so pretty, such a pretty shell for so much ugly personality. “What do you want MacTavish.”, you ask, almost bored.
He seems taken aback by your lack of reaction to him. But he finds his grin immediately again. “Ohhh look at the little mutt being all grown up and not being scared of me, anymore.”
He sits down next to you, leaning into your space and you lean away from him, the railing behind you keeping you from falling back. “Don’t forget what I can do to you.”, he whispers almost threateningly and suddenly you laugh. He flinches back from the unexpected sound.
Your laugh is easy and carefree, your eyes sparkling with honest mirth as you look into his eyes. Your laugh steals his breath. He’s never seen you laugh like this and it throws him off. God he didn’t know you’d sound so pretty, even though he imagined making you laugh like this more times than he can count.
“Yeah?”, you ask still giggling. “What are you gonna do? There’s no lockers here for you to lock me into. What are you gonna do? Trip me? Pull my hair? Rip my clothes? Drag me to the bathroom and lock me in there? Tell everyone here that “little ugly” came to the party to ruin everyone’s view?”
You relax against the banister behind you gaze still locked on him and he opens and closes his mouth once before leaning in again: “No, I’ll give you what you’ve wanted from me all these years.”
Suddenly your mouth is dry as he puts his broad warm hand on your thigh. Your eyes meet his, big, like a deer caught in the headlight and suddenly everything makes sense. The way he’d pick on you, his flushed face when he spilled water over you and your shirt got see-through. The way he’d call you ugly because you can see it in his eyes, he thinks you’re anything but ugly.
He gently starts letting his hand wander to your inner thigh where it begins to drag upwards and you reflexively close your thighs, trapping his hand, preventing him from travelling higher. You leave his hand there and lean in too so your lips are next to his ear.
“And what do I want from you, MacTavish?”, you don’t miss the way he shudders when he feels your breath on his skin. His hand grips your thigh tighter.
“You want me to touch you, have since the first day, where I bumped into you on accident and made you drop your books. Ever since then I couldn’t get you out of my head, the way you’d looked up at me from where you gathered your stuff. Wanted to see that face over and over again. That’s why you never rand from me, mutt, you wanted me to bully you, to make you feel all helpless and small. And now I’ll finally give you the bullying you wanted from me.”, he murmurs to you and maybe if it were still that first interaction he just recounted you’d react with goosebumps.
Instead you grab his wrist when he tries to move his hand again and rip it off of you. You laugh again and he leans back looking at you, shocked at the surprisingly cold sound.
You shove his hand against his chest and pat his cheek condescendingly and harder than he should allow. “No, Johnny. I didn’t run because there was no where you didn’t find me. You’re an asshole to think I’d want you after everything.”
His eyes are wide and you see cracks in his façade for the first time. “But you’re obviously attracted to me.”, he almost splutters and you grin and stand up.
“Sorry MacTavish, no body and face could ever be attractive enough to cover the stench of your rotten personality.”, you say pleasantly, brushing off invisible dust from your thighs. Or maybe you’re brushing away the reminder of his touch.
Johnny can’t believe what’s happening. He was so sure of it. He’d get to have you today, after three years of making you look at him with those adorable tearful eyes, you’d allow him to make you all glassy eyed for a different reason. And he’d be so good, so much better than you’d expect, that you’d ask for his number and he’d get to keep you as his nice little pet dog. He’d get to bully you like he’s always done just with an added layer of pleasure.
“Darling, please. Let me explain.” He hates how whiny his voice suddenly sounds, the petname slipping out subconsciously.
“I hope you have a nice rest of your life, MacTavish. I’m outta here. Nothing here for me to miss. I hope I never see you again.”, you say, then turn and wave over your shoulder.
“Please. Stay.”, his voice is thin and why the hell is he the one that sounds like a pathetic dog now?
You don’t spare him another glance as you leave, missing the way he’s the one with glossy eyes for once.

behind the scenes chapter five | fifty fake dates
Tumblr media
masterlist | prev | next
pairing: jamie tartt x actress!reader (ted lasso)
rating: T
word count: 6,388
summary: you and jamie face the biggest test of your fake relationship so far; a double date with keeley and roy
a/n: this is once again a bit later than i had hoped to post, but this is my favorite chapter so far so i hope its worth the wait! i cannot wait to hear what you all think, especially in regards to the reader's scenes with roy and keeley :)
Jamie could be a very cocky person, but he could honestly say, in a completely unbiased way that you two were absolutely crushing this fake dating thing.
Not only had your movie premiere hard launch gone incredibly well the other week, you’d had many successful fake dates since. You’d been seen on various breakfast, lunch and dinner dates, as well as on walks together and even outside your flat again. You’d also posted a couple Instagram posts and stories here and there for good measure, slowly ramping up in a way that felt natural to a real relationship.
The public was eating it up. From fans to journalists, everyone thought you were adorable together. Jamie knew for a fact no one in the world suspected this was all for show.
Unfortunately, the pitfall of doing such a good job meant that not only had his coworkers bought the whole ordeal, but demanded to see it up close. And while fooling Roy and Keeley was a major cornerstone of the whole plot, he wasn’t exactly prepared for what Keeley had in store for them.
“A double date?” Jamie squints at her, after she’d cornered him in the locker room at the end of training one evening.
“Yeah, doesn’t that sound like fun!” Keeley nods, “It was actually Roy’s idea.”
“No!” Roy exclaims raspily from where he was sitting in the coaches office. The three of them were conveniently the last ones to leave for the night.
Keeley shakes her head, “You were the one who said you wanted to meet her.” She turns back to Jamie, “And I for one think a night out, just the four of us, would be a perfect way for all of us to get to know each other.”
Jamie hesitates. Again, he knows that’s the whole point of this charade. But he hadn’t been mentally prepared for when the opportunity to show you off actually came.
“I mean, I’m having dinner with her tonight,” he starts out slowly, “There’s no guarantee she’ll be available, you know, her being a hugely popular and successful actress and everything. But I’ll bring it up.”
Keeley smiles, “That’s all I ask!”
Jamie gives her a tight smile, before bidding her and Roy a good night.
Well, this should be fun.
Tumblr media
“Hi, sorry I’m late. Filming ran long,” you say hurriedly as you breeze over to the table Jamie is sitting at. Despite there not being any photographers in this dimly lit restaurant, you feel the need to press a kiss onto his cheek, and he doesn’t seem to mind at all.
Jamie shrugs as you slide into the seat across from him, “No worries.”
You sigh, and mutter quietly, “Well, isn’t the point of this whole thing to be seen entering places together?”
“It's fine, really,” he insists. And then with a smirk, “We’ll be seen leaving together and I think that’s a little more important.”
You can’t help but chuckle as you finally catch your breath from rushing in. As you’re collecting yourself, you notice a glass of wine and an otherwise empty table in front of you.
“No menu?” you question.
Jamie shrugs again, this time a little awkwardly, “I went ahead and ordered for you. I figured you were filming late and thought you’d be eager to eat quickly. You like chicken parmesan, right?”
An impressed smile takes over your face, “Wow. As far as fake boyfriends go, you’re pretty good.”
A bashful smile takes over his own face. “I do my best.”
“And let me guess, you got the steak but you’re going to tell Roy you got a salad.”
Jamie quirks an amused eyebrow, “You’re not so bad yourself.”
You’re both equally proud and yet surprised at how quickly you’d become accustomed to each other’s lives and habits. And how natural it felt to fold one another into your own.
Jamie lets you take a healthy sip of wine before taking a deep breath, “Speaking of Roy.”
“Oh?” You raise an eyebrow this time in question.
“Yeah, uh, he and Keeley actually asked me something earlier. They - well, more Keeley - thought it would be fun for us to go on a sort-of double date? I told them I’d ask you, but I didn’t promise them anything. So, if it's not something you’re up for that's totally fine, I can blow them off.”
You bite back a laugh at how quickly and anxiously he’s speaking. You think it's best to cut him off before he passes out. “Jamie,” you reach across the table and take his hand, “I think that sounds fun.”
Jamie squints, “Really? Because we seriously don’t have to.”
“I’m serious! I think it would be fun to meet the people that sent you into a spiral and made you ask to fake date me,” Jamie scoffs but a smile starts breaking through again, “Besides, this deal is a two way street. You’ve done plenty to help boost my rep so far, it's time I return the favor.”
Now Jamie fully smiles, but still asks, “If you’re sure?”
“I’m positive!”
“Alright. Well, since you’re the one that has to pretend to be obsessed with me all night, I think it’s only fair that you get to pick the activity. What do you want to do?”
You mull it over in your end until the perfect idea strikes you.
Tumblr media
“Can I tell you something?”
“Of course.”
“I am absolutely shit at bowling.”
From the passenger's seat of Jamie’s car, you let out a cackle. “There’s no way that’s true.”
“There absolutely is.” Jamie frowns beside you, completely unamused.
“Wow, finally something Jamie Tartt isn’t amazing at.”
“You know you haven’t seen me do that much,” he points out.
You hold your hand up and tick things off, “Amazing footballer, amazing fake-boyfriend. What else is there?”
This gets a laugh out of him.
The two of you are currently parked outside a bowling alley that is surprisingly empty for a Saturday evening. Jamie had received a text from Keeley saying she and Roy had arrived a few minutes prior, so now the two of your were mentally preparing for the night ahead.
“You know you could have told me this before and we could have done something else?” you asked after a few moments had passed.
Jamie lets out a deep breath, “But you were so excited about it when you brought it up.”
You chew the inside of your cheek to prevent yourself from smiling. “Well, I appreciate that. And I’m sure you’re not as bad as you think.”
“Let me know if you think that when you see me play.”
“Well, I can’t do that unless we actually go inside,” you whisper to him like it's a secret he hadn’t caught onto.
Jamie sighs deeply again.
“Hey,” you reach across the console and squeeze his hand briefly, “Tonight’s gonna be great. We’re gonna play a game, I’m gonna wow your friends, we’re gonna drink a shit ton of beers and have a shit ton of nachos, and have a good time.”
The side of Jamie’s mouth tilts up, “I think my vocabulary is rubbing off on you.”
You chuckle, shoving him lightly, “Come on, let’s get this show on the road already.”
“God, you’re impatient,” Jamie teases, but he’s finally pushing his car door open.
“Time is money, money is power, power is pizza, let's do this!”
Tumblr media
If you were being honest, you had googled Roy Kent and Keeley Jones before. However, nothing could prepare you for how intimidating Roy was and how drop-dead gorgeous Keeley was in real life.
You and Jamie approached them hand-in-hand, and took little to no time for you to clock that you were the only people in the establishment. You’re confused about this, but you have to quickly bury any questions when Keeley pulls you into a tight hug.
“Hi, it’s so great to meet you, I’m Keeley!” she greets enthusiastically, before pulling away from you abruptly, “Holy shit, I’m sorry. The last thing you probably want is a random stranger hugging you out of nowhere. I’m sure you’re on edge all the time from the attention you get.”
You can’t help but flush when anyone makes a reference to your level of fame, not one to dwell on it yourself. However, Keeley’s energy is so bubbly and kind, you can’t help but feel comfortable as well as amused at how hard she’s trying.
“No, no, not at all. Hugging is great,” You give her a big smile as reassurance, “Besides, you’re not a random stranger, you’re one of Jamie’s best friends, so you’re automatically already a cool person in my book.”
Keeley matches your smile before turning to Jamie, “Oh, my God, you were right about how nice she is.”
You turn to Jamie as well with a curious look, and he can barely make eye contact with you. “So, now you know Keeley, and that scruffy old-man behind her is Roy.”
You turn to the man in question, and give him a kind smile and small wave, “Hey! I take it you’re probably not going to bear-hug me like your girlfriend, but it’d be funny if you did.”
To everyone’s surprise, Roy cracks a smile at your joke. It’s a small one but it's there. The bearded man gives you an approving nod before the four of you start making your way to your table. As you and Jamie trail behind the other couple, he gives you an impressed smile and you beam back at him.
Once you’re seated, you and Keeley send the boys off to grab bowling shoes and snacks for the group.
“So, am I crazy or is this place extremely vacant for a Saturday night?” you ask the blonde as you type your name into the scoreboard.
Keeley chuckles, “Oh yeah, we actually rented the place out for the next couple of hours.”
Your eyebrows shoot up, “Okay. Boujee.”
Keeley shrugs, “We don’t normally do things like that, but Jamie thought you’d prefer a night not being bothered by fans and such.”
Oh.
“While I normally don’t do things like this either, it does sound nice to have a normal night out.”
“It’ll be fun!” Keeley says cheerfully.
“Definitely,” you nod along, feeling warmed by her vibrant personality. “Even more so because apparently Jamie is really bad at bowling.”
Keeley snorts, “Oh, good. I mean, I’m not so great myself and Roy didn’t seem too enthused about this,” at your alarmed look, she quickly continues, “He’s never enthused about anything, don’t take it personally.”
You nod again, still a bit unsure. While you’d seemingly appeased Roy with your joke earlier, you were still anxious to get on his good side for some reason. You were a people pleaser through and through, but especially when the people in question were hard to crack.
You don’t have much time to dwell on your thoughts when Jamie and Roy reappear with beer, nachos, and bowling shoes.
Soon after the game begins. Between the consistent and easy flowing small talk, you bowl first with a respectable 8 pins down for your first go. You were just getting warmed up. Then Keeley takes a turn and manages 5 pins. You try to keep your laughter at bay when Jamie lands his first roll in the gutter, before just barely hitting 2 pins on his second attempt.
“I told you I was shit,” Jamie frowns, plopping down beside you after his turn.
You give him a playful pout, rubbing his arm. “Hey, the night is young, babe. You can still redeem yourself.”
You miss the flush on his cheeks from the pet name, as you and Keeley turn to Roy stepping up to the lane.
“You got this Roy-o!” Keeley claps.
Roy lets out a deep sigh before casually rolling the ball down the lane only to get a strike.
You and Jamie sit up straight in surprise, as Keeley’s eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets.
“I thought you hated bowling?” she exclaims, Roy sitting beside her and taking a gulp of his beer.
“I said I didn’t like it, never said I was bad at it,” he corrects, “Phoebe had like 3 birthdays here.”
“Phoebe’s Roy’s niece,” Keeley says, facing you before you could even ask, “You’d love her.”
You hum in response. You give Roy a friendly yet challenging grin, “Looks like I have stiffer competition than I expected.”
You catch a glimmer of competitiveness in Roy’s eye as you stand up to take your next turn. While you weren’t sure he’d be down for a little competition, he seems intrigued by your retort.
You’re pleased when you score a spare this round. Jamie and Keeley cheer for you, the former planting a celebratory kiss on your cheek when you return. Roy, for his part, looks impressed. It was on.
The game practically flies by after that. You and Roy are pretty evenly matched, taking turns between scoring strikes and fumbling a bit under the pressure. Keeley holds her own as well, but she’s mostly just happy to be there, cheering both you and Roy on. Jamie for his part manages to do better little by little, but he’s certainly no stranger to a gutter-bar or ill-fated split. And while he was resistant at first, he starts laughing along with your groups playful jabs at his expense.
Between rounds, you thoroughly enjoy getting to know Roy and Keeley. Keeley is a bit more forthcoming in conversations, but after a couple beers, Roy loosens up a bit himself and you’re pleased to learn he has a fun sense of humor.
By the end of the game, you manage to one-up Roy Kent by mere single digits. And while he’s graceful in the loss, he can’t help but point out he was a bit rusty.
“Okay, now that you’re warmed up, why don’t we make the next game a little more interesting,” you challenge.
Roy raises one of his thick eyebrows, “Go on.”
“Let’s say the next loser between us picks up the tab for the night?” you suggest.
Roy chuckles, “Big talk from someone with all that Hollywood money.”
“Oh, come on, I’m sure the highest paid coach in the premier league can handle it,” you throw back.
Keeley and Jamie amusedly watch you two like a tennis match.
A mischievous smile makes its way onto Roy’s face, before he extends his hand to you, “It’s a deal.”
You smirk, shaking his hand.
“Alright, if we’re doing this again, I need another beer,” Jamie announces, standing up from the booth.
“Ooh, I’ll come with,” Keeley says, jumping up as well.
“Wait, wait,” you call out, grabbing Jamie’s hand so he turns back around.
“Yeah, love?” Jamie asks, startled by the ease in which the pet name rolls off his own tongue.
“Can you get me some chicken wings, please?” you ask, with the sweetest smile you can muster.
Jamie chuckles, “Of course.”
“Thank you,” you sing-song. He watches your eyes glance over at Roy and Keeley quickly and discreetly, before looking back up at him. Then you blink twice.
Jamie doesn’t hold back the small smile that takes over his face as he leans down to press a chaste kiss on your lips. He forces himself not to linger, so he and Keeley can head to the snack bar.
This leaves you alone with Roy for the first time tonight. You have half a second to worry you’d be sitting in awkward silence before the man himself is speaking up.
“I like you,” he says suddenly.
You sit up in surprise for the second time tonight. Roy didn’t come across as the most transparent person when it came to feelings, and you’re once again sure the alcohol was helping, but it still took you aback.
“Oh?” is all you can manage to say in response.
He nods, sipping on his beverage. “You’re good for Jamie. You treat him well, but you don’t take his shit. He needs that.”
You give him a small smile, touched by his words. You were both relieved you were pulling off the girlfriend thing so well, and also happy that he thought you were making a positive impact on Jamie. Your situation may be temporary - and mostly fake - but it felt good that you were a decent influence in the time you have.
“Thanks, Roy.”
He tilts his beer bottle in your direction, and you raise yours as well.
“You’re also a hell of a bowler, but you are going down this next game.”
You scoff, “You wish, Kent.”
Meanwhile, Keeley is also singing your praises at the concessions stand with Jamie.
“Bravo, Jamie,” Keeley grins, shaking Jamie’s arm with an affectionate squeeze, “Not only is she fucking fit and talented - at acting and bowling nonetheless - she’s so fucking cool. She’s perfect for you.”
Jamie smiles bashfully, but accepts Keeley’s compliments of you. She was right. You were amazing.
“And, I’m so happy you’re happy,” she adds, even more sincerely, “It always seemed like you were going through the motions in your past relationships, before and after me. And during me, I guess.”
Jamie moves to apologize but she shakes her head.
“You don’t need to do that,” she states forcefully, “You’ve grown so much. You deserve all the good things happening in your life. And this,” she nods in the direction you and Roy were sitting, “Is such a good thing.”
Jamie’s smile wobbles a little, “You know I wasn’t just going through the motions with you, right? I really, really cared about you Keeley.”
Keeley instantly sobers as well, nodding aggressively, “I know that.”
“Good.”
“But I can tell this is different,” she insists. “You’re different. She’s different. And like I said, that’s a good thing.”
Jamie nods. Keeley’s words weigh heavily on him. Maybe that was the thing about him and her all along. You could care about a person, but that didn’t make you two the right fit. He considers this thought as he and Keeley carry their food back to the table. You and him were different. But not the different Keeley thought. You were just acting, and you were doing a hell of a good job of it. But that was the point, wasn’t it? Keeley and Roy were believing all of it, just like he wanted. So why doesn’t he feel as relieved as he should?
He buries those thoughts as you excitedly stand up to start the next game. That wasn’t before you happily thank him for the wings with yet another peck on the lips. And with that and more alcohol flowing through his veins, he can hardly remember any of his worries.
After you score another strike right off the bat, instead of returning to your seat you gesture for Jamie to join you in front of the lane.
“What are you gonna do?” he questions, “Wrap your arms around me to show me the right technique?”
“While that would be adorable, no,” you retort with a laugh, “But I can give you some pointers.”
Jamie can barely focus on the tips you’re telling him, because even if you’re not physically showing him how to move, you’re still standing in such close proximity, and whispering to him nonetheless. How was he meant to pay attention? When you’re done with your explanation, you give him another quick kiss, wishing him good luck, before skipping back to the booth.
Whether it was the tutorial or the kiss, he’d never know, but he somehow managed 7 pins that first try, and knocked down 2 more his second go. That was almost a spare. He’d be proud either way, but was even more so when you excitedly cheered for him on his way back to the table.
The second game is just as much of a blur as the first, except this time as the competition and the alcohol levels grow, you and Jamie become much more affectionate. He knows you don’t love PDA, so you keep the kissing to a minimum around Roy and Keeley, but there’s no shortage of hugging and hand holding as you rack up points on the scoreboard. Towards the end of the game, you manage the first Turkey of the night, and Jamie picks you up and spins you around.
Before you know it, everyone’s down to their last shot. The score is so close, with you getting yet another strike at the last moment. Jamie and Keeley finish with respectable scores - Jamie having improved a lot this go - but they’re nowhere near you and Roy.
Roy’s final roll is what makes or breaks the game. If he scores a strike, he wins. But even a spare means you’d win. Everyone watches with baited breath as he steps up to the lane. Its as if the ball rolls in slow motion, but as it hits the pins and you all watch as each and every pin gets knocked down, various exclamations are shouted.
“He must’ve cheated!” is Jamie’s contribution to the yelling, but he and you are both half laughing at the same time.
You, for your part, can’t be too disappointed when you’ve had such a fun night with more than amazing company. You also watch as Keeley gives Roy a sweet, congratulatory kiss, which was the first time they’d done so all night. Your heart pangs in your chest a little, feeling envious for the first time for what another couple had. It’s not something you’ve felt often in your life, but seeing how well the pair complemented each other all night made you long for the same thing with someone one day.
“You put up a good fight,” Roy salutes you, settling back down next to his girlfriend.
You smile, “It was a close game, but I’ll hand it to you.”
You begin to take out your credit card, when Jamie pushes your hand away, already taking out his own wallet.
“I’ve got this,” he says.
You frown, “I don’t remember you being a part of the deal.”
Jamie shrugs, “A lady should never pay on a date, so your bill is now my bill.”
Normally, you’d argue on account of feminism, but you’re feeling a little loopy. Most likely from the beer and not at all from the boy in front of you with that lopsided grin.
After Jamie closes your group’s tab, the four of you change back into your regular shoes and start saying your goodbyes.
“This was so fun!” Keeley smiles, pulling you in for another hug, which you gladly reciprocate, “We should do it again soon.”
“For sure,” you agree, before pulling away and addressing Roy, “I would like a rematch.”
Roy chuckles, “You’re on.” And then he surprises you by giving you a quick hug himself.
With a final goodbye, Roy and Keeley start heading for the exit. Jamie gives you a sly grin once they’re far enough away.
“I’d say we did a good job tonight,” he says.
You nod, “We definitely did. You’re friends love me, and you know what? I love them, too.”
Jamie laughs, “Good.” He gestures his hand to the doors, “Shall we?”
You give Jamie your own secretive grin, “There’s one more thing I have to do before we leave.”
Jamie furrows his brows, “What’s that?”
Your grin only grows, before you grip his hand and pull him towards the far side of the bowling alley that housed a handful of arcade games.
Jamie cackles when you stop in front of one of them.
“The claw machine?”
You only nod, already shoving quarters into the machine, “I was hoping they’d have one of these.”
Jamie shakes his head, watching as you navigate the claw around the machine, “There’s no way you win this. You know these things are rigged, right?”
Before the words are fully out of his mouth, you’re already dropping a bright orange dragon in to the opening before pulling it out of the bottom.
Jamie stares at you with wide eyes, “How the fuck did you do that?”
You shrug, “I’m amazing at arcade games. And I needed a win.”
Jamie laughs again, “I’d say you’re far from a loser. Did you see whose name was at the bottom of the scoreboard?”
You giggle, and then hold out the dragon to him, “Well here. A consolation prize.”
Jamie takes the stuffed toy from your hands, “For me?”
“Of course. I mean, as long as you treat him right and give him a name.”
Jamie studies the dragon’s face for a moment. “Alfred.”
You snort, “Alfred?”
“Alfred the Dragon.” Jamie says, assuredly.
“Well, I love it.”
“Good,” Jamie laughs along with you. “Well, the reservation we had on this place is about to end. People are going to start showing up any second so we should probably go.”
“Wait,” you grab Jamie’s hands again, “It's only, what, 9PM? Let’s go out and do something else.”
“Really?” Jamie asks, both surprised and amused.
“Yeah, why not? I hardly ever get out like this, might as well make the most of it while I have the mental energy,” you say with a laugh. “Come on, you’re the guy who knows all the spots where we can enjoy a drink on the down low right? Any bars like that?”
A smile starts to grow on Jamie’s face again, “Well, there is one.”
Tumblr media
“Did you bring me to a karaoke bar?” you question, but there’s an excited grin on your face.
Jamie shrugs from the driver’s seat of his car, relieved he’d stayed sober enough to keep the night going. He feared that wouldn’t last much longer, though.
“Everyone at this place is so pissed they’d never realize they were around a famous actress, even if you wore a shirt that said ‘I was in Study Break’.”
You laugh embarrassedly, rubbing your face. “Of course you’ve seen the sitcom I was in.”
Jamie smiles, “That and Parks and Rec are only two of the greatest comedies of all time.”
“That’s generous,” you say. “If we’re at a karaoke bar, does that mean you’re going to sing?”
Jamie huffs, “Hell no. I would need several drinks for that.”
“I think we can make that happen,” you smirk. “Do you think Alfred will be okay to wait in the car?”
You both turn back to where Jamie had buckled the plush dragon in behind the two of you.
“Does that make us neglectful parents to leave our kid in the car?” he asks.
“Eh, he’ll survive.” You shrug, before the two of you jump out of the car.
You and Jamie immediately camp out at open spots at the bar and order drinks. While much of the beer from earlier had worn off, Jamie could still tell you were feeling lighter, bopping along to the horrible singing from the karaoke performer on the stage in the front of the room. He’s adored getting to see such a playful side of you tonight. He hopes he can start to bring it out of you even when alcohol wasn’t involved.
“I just realized when we conducted our research on each other, I didn’t ask if you had a go to karaoke song,” you ask him after a few minutes of quiet between the two of you.
Jamie thinks for a beat. Not that he’d participated in the activity often, he did have a few go-to’s. “Probably something by The Beatles. Or Britney Spears.”
You cackle, “Those two couldn’t be more different options and yet they’re both so perfect for you.”
Jamie laughs along with you, “What about you?”
“Hmm, I like a good 80’s song. Some Madonna, or Pat Benetar.”
“Those are solid.”
“And this isn't the 80's, but if I can get someone to do a duet with me, The Chain by Fleetwood Mac.”
“That is a bold karaoke song.”
“Sure, but it's so powerful.”
You both sip on your drinks as you keep humming along to the next singer who's doing a rough version of Bennie and the Jets.
“I know another question I didn’t ask you that feels like an oversight,” Jamie says this time, “What is Miss Movie Star’s favorite movie?” Jamie’s immediately intrigued when you become embarrassed by the question. He pokes your stomach gently. “What? Now you’ve got to tell me.”
You answer so softly, he can barely hear you over the music. “When Harry Met Sally.”
Jamie’s mouth is agape, “Excuse me, When Harry Met Sally? The girl who hates romance’s favorite movie is a romantic comedy?”
You squeeze your eyes shut, “I never said I hated romance, I just said some movies set unrealistic expectations.”
“Still!” Jamie exclaims with wide eyes.
“I know, I know. But it’s just so comforting! And Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are so good together.”
“I mean, yeah.” Jamie agrees, like it's the most obvious thing in the world.
“But I stand by the fact that most romcoms can be a bit far fetched.”
“Okay, that’s fair. What other movies are your favorites then?”
You once again look afraid to answer, but inevitably do. “13 Going on 30…Notting Hill…”
“Are you kidding me? 13 Going On 30 is the most unrealistic. It's about a girl who goes from a 13 year old to a full grown adult overnight!”
“Yes, but Mark Ruffalo!”
“And Notting Hill is about the biggest actress in the world moving across the world for a random bookstore owner, how is that realistic?”
“Well, I mean I’m pretending to date you!” you retort before thinking through what you’re saying.
Jamie doesn’t dwell on it, “Did you just compare yourself to Julia Roberts?”
You sputter, “Not fully, but that would make you Hugh Grant!”
Jamie gives you a look, “I’m of a little higher rank than a bookstore owner.”
You gesture between the two of you, “So you’re saying the two of us come across as realistic. That’s good, that's what we want.”
Jamie chuckles, as you ground your conversation back in reality. “That’s fair.”
You smile slightly, “And again; I never said I hated romance and stuff. I just wish it was easier to come by like it seems on screen.”
Jamie nods, speaking more softly, “Yeah, me too.”
Before you lose yourself in Jamie’s gaze, you turn the topic on him, “What’s your favorite movie, then? Bend It Like Beckham?”
Jamie snorts, “While that’s a great film, I wouldn’t say it's my favorite.”
“Fair. But if you say another one of my movies, I’ll punch you.”
Your conversation continues just as smoothly as your cocktails go down after that. You bounce between learning more about one another, to mindless conversations about seemingly nothing. You also take many breaks to belt the lyrics to songs you love as more and more drunk patrons lousily perform.
Before you know it, you’re both nearly as drunk as the karaoke singers. Jamie soon realizes though, you’re much more of a lightweight, constantly coming up with random topics.
“I like the way you say Keeley’s name,” you tell him at one point, completely unrelated to the conversation you were having.
Jamie furrows his eyebrows, “Keeley?”
You shove your index finger in his face, “See, like that! Keeley.”
He chuckles at your poor, yet adorable imitation of his accent.
“You’re from where again?” you ask.
“Manchester.”
“So, that’s what? A Manchester-an accent?”
Jamie laughs again, “Mancunian.”
“Mancunian,” you slur, making yourself laugh this time. “I like it.”
“Do you like the way I say your name?” Jamie asks teasingly.
You bob your head up and down, “I like the way you say everything.”
Jamie didn’t expect that answer. Even in his inebriated state, he feels his stomach flip.
It’s around midnight that Jamie realizes that even under the influence, you were still a sneaky one. You’re laughing through a story about you and your friend Katie, when the MC calls Jamie’s name out as the next singer. Jamie looks towards the stage in confusion, before it dawns on him. His suspicions are confirmed when he sees the cheeky grin plastered across your face.
“How did you- when did you??” he stutters.
“When I said I had to go to the bathroom like 20 minutes ago,” you hiccup.
Jamie shakes his head, “I can’t go up there.”
“Sure you can!” you exclaim, attempting to push him off the barstool, although you’re doing a pretty pathetic job of it.
As the MC repeats his name, some people around you clock that he’s The Jamie Tartt and start chanting for him.
He gives you a look, “So much for staying under the radar.”
In your state, you don’t even seem to care, instead joining the crowd, “Jamie. Jamie. Jamie.”
He truly believes if he were a little less drunk, he would have resisted harder. But what was Jamie Tartt if not a crowd pleaser?
He eventually makes his way to the stage, receiving a louder than normal applause from the bar crowd. He reminds himself that even if they’re aware of who he is now, they certainly won't remember this tomorrow. As he pulls the microphone off the stand, he realizes he doesn’t know what song he’s singing, until the unmistakable first beats of Toxic by Britney Spears play through the speakers. He locks eyes with you immediately back by the bar, and you have a shit eating grin still plastered on your face. He can’t help but smile back.
At this point Jamie’s inevitably given into the absurdity of the night, and unashamedly gives a full fledged performance. The bar goes wild, but he’s only really aware of you. He somehow hears your cheers above the roar of the crowd, and is egged on by your amusement. Under normal circumstances, he may be embarrassed by how seriously he was taking this, but he’s surrendered to the simple fact that if it made you happy, he didn’t care how ridiculous he looked.
By the time he’s reached the final chorus of the song, you were up from your seat and the whole bar was singing along. Everyone cheers even louder when he’s done, and he gives them an over dramatic bow. As he bounds back down the stage, the people he passes offer high fives and tell him they’re huge fans. He even hears a few people breakout into his football chant.
“Wow, you were so good!” you tell him genuinely, putting each one of your hands on his shoulders, “Football better watch out, cause you could have a real career as a singer.”
Jamie rolls his eyes with a laugh, “Sure I do.”
You laugh along with him, “Either way, now that I know you kill at karaoke, we definitely have to come back.”
“Alright, alright, but next time you’re singing with me.”
“As long as its Fleetwood Mac, I’m down.”
The two of you don’t last much longer after that. As soon as Jamie can tell you’re starting to grow tired, he announces you should call it a night. He calls a car this time though, planning to pick up his car the following day when he was much more sober. You beg him to take Alfred the Dragon, though, stating sincerely that you’d cry if he was left in the car alone all night long. He immediately hates the idea of you crying and hurriedly unlocked the car to retrieve the stuffed animal.
When the car pulls up to your flat, he tells the driver he’d be a few minutes while he walked you to the door.
Jamie amusedly watches you very carefully walk up the concrete stairs. Despite not feeling quite that steady himself, he still follows closely behind in case you trip.
You stumble a little when you reach the top and Jamie gently takes hold of your arms, the two of you unable to keep from giggling.
“Well, this is me!” you announce, standing up straight in his arms.
“You don’t say?” Jamie jokes.
“You can stay here, you know,” you say, “The couch is pretty comfortable. I fell right to sleep at the end of Ratatouille the other night.”
“You were watching Ratatouille?” he asks incredulously.
“Ratatouille,” you mimic his accent again, pinching one of his cheeks lightly, “I fucking love your accent.”
Jamie laughs, a little less amused this time with you in such close proximity, “Well, thank you.”
You nod to the door, “So, you wanna stay? I bet people would go crazy if they heard about you leaving my place tomorrow morning.”
Jamie huffs. He considers it. He does. He’s exhausted, and he’d also love more time with you. And you’re right, this would be good for the ruse. But even as the alcohol slowly wears off of both of you, he thinks maybe tonight isn’t the best time
“Maybe another night,” he eventually responds softly. He nods behind him, “I can’t keep the driver waiting much longer.”
You pout playfully but nod, “Okayyy. I’ll talk to you tomorrow though?”
He nods back, “Of course.” A beat passes, “Thank you again for coming out tonight. With Keeley and Roy. Meant a lot.”
You smile at him brightly, “Anytime. Like you said, we’re a team.” Then you slide out of his arms that he’s long forgotten were even wound around you. “Good night, boyfriend.” you say dramatically, before turning to the door.
He smiles wistfully at the back of your head, “Good night, girlfriend.”
Just as you manage to get your door unlocked, you abruptly turn back around to face him. Before he can question anything, you’re gripping his shoulders and pulling him in for a quick, albeit sloppy kiss - and not on the cheek, but the lips.
Jamie can hardly process what is happening before you pull away from him. He looks at you curiously as you give him a coy smile and whisper, “Google Earth.”
Jamie breathes out a surprised and shaky laugh, “Always taking pics.”
You giggle with him, before once again going back to your front door. You wish him another good night, before entering your flat and shutting the door.
Jamie shakes his head. You definitely wouldn’t remember much of the last couple hours of your night. Part of him wishes he could forget some of it, too. That would make things a lot simpler.

Tumblr media
"Gaho is finally asleep,"
Jongho lifted his head from his book and watched you enter your shared room from his side of the bed. You walked in groaning after struggling to put your 7-month-old baby girl to sleep for the night as he had just learnt the joys of sight and hearing so she became rather fussy. "Are you okay?" Genuine worry dripped from Jongho's voice when he saw you place the baby monitor on your nightstand as you sat down on your side of the bed. You turned to look at him and shot him a grateful smile, mouthing a 'thank you' as you were unable to use your voice.
"You know," the bed behind you dipped as Jongho placed his hands on your shoulders to gently massaged the sore muscles, "I wouldn't mind helping feed her when I'm around. Heck, I'll even clean her poopy diaper and give her a bath," he offered as he pressed his lips to the side of your head lovingly. You let out a hum of appreciation, smiling at how nice it felt to be massaged by him. He always bragged about how strong he is and while he used that as an advantage against his band members, he used it to spoil you with his love. "Yeah, but you work all the time and during weird hours for recording and stuff so I'd rather you rest whenever you can," it was true, you saw how your husband works so hard to provide for your family and honestly seeing him rest well and do some things just for himself was comfort enough for you.
You accidentally let out a moan followed by your head rolling and falling back in pleasure when Jongho relieved the pressure on a sore spot. Jongho's fingers froze for a second when he heard you moan, the sound sent a thrill straight to his gut and suddenly his mind started replaying some memories of you fucking yourself on his cock. It wasn't like he planned on thinking about it, nothing specific was turning him on (other than your moans), but you were right there under his touch. His eyes glazed while his fingers moved on their own accords, massaging your sore muscles to elicit more sounds from you that just made him inhale shakily. His mind was fuzzy with images of you naked on top of him or taking him in your mouth or even you stepping on his cock as he humped on your heels to get off. God, how he missed the days he could just be depraved and not feel guilty because there wasn't a baby in the next room. Then his thoughts shifted to the image of you during your pregnancy. It was around your third month and as you said, it was the sweet spot where your body informed the twins in the apartment but not the troll in the basement. While you loved how perky they were, Jongho loved how he was able to play with them all he wants. It wasn't like he wasn't attracted to your boobs before the pregnancy it was just that now there were more of it and you were lactating. Just the thought of him suckling your breasts and drinking your milk while you writhe under or on top of him, grinding to his hard cock due to oversensitivity got Jongho's cock to spring up to its full size.
Jongho only snapped back into reality when you pulled away from his touch and stood up, saying something along the lines of having to change out of your spittle-covered shirt that barely registered into Jongho's boob-induced brain detachment. Thought what came next wasn't much better for him as you whipped your shirt off and revealed your bare boob, hanging heavy on your chest with your nipples pebbled. Jongho's jaw immediately went slack and his tongue darted out as a reflex when he saw the shine on the peaks from you breastfeeding your daughter, immediately wanting a taste. Despite what your parents said and your baby's paediatrician's suggestion, you didn't want to stop breastfeeding until she was at least one year old as you heard the many benefits that formula just couldn't give. Plus, it was like strapping a treadmill to your chest, where else can you dump 500 calories daily? It was a win-win-win solution for everyone in your family. The baby gets her food, nutrient, immune boost, and neurological benefit among other things, you get to not worry about wanting cheeseburgers at 12 am, and Jongho gets some action whenever he wants.
As you dump your dirty shirt to the floor and turned to ask Jongho if he saw your favourite sleeping shirt, you noticed how his eyes zeroed in on your chest, completely transfixed. "Jongho?" You called out with eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "Are you okay?" Of course, he didn't answer verbally, he simply nodded slowly before tilting his head to the side slightly as if to follow with the movements of your breasts.
Knowing him, you knew what he was thinking and it wasn't that hard to guess since his dick was begging to be released from his sweatpants. "Aww, are you staring at my boobies, baby?" you chuckled, walking back to him with your boobs hanging free, intentionally swaying to make them jiggle slightly. Jongho's eyes almost bulged out of their sockets as his throat swallowed the imaginary lump that formed. Your confidence skyrocketed just from Jongho staring at you, he made you feel like you were the only woman he'd ever need and want, like you're the most beautiful and precious person in the world.
Reaching the bed, your kneed dipped first as you tower over Jongho, hands cupping his face gently as you gazed at him lovingly but your fingers were rather firm with your thumb pressing onto his bottom lip. "Does baby want his play time before bed?" You asked, tone lower than your previous, the same one you used on Jongho when you mean business. Immediately, Jongho took notice of your tone and he nodded frantically, "Yes, mommy."
In a flash, you found yourself on your shared bed, your back against the headrest with pillows providing a comfortable surface while Jongho was on top of you. A soft exhale escaped your lips as Jongho's lips work fervently to plant marks all over your skin from the side of your neck down to your chest. "You're hungry, aren't you, baby?" You teased with a giggle, knowing that despite his neediness, he still had his pride and the whine that he let out simply boosted your ego. Despite his protests, his lips never ceased their work, clustering to your cleavage and only venturing out slightly to butterfly his pattern. Gently, you cupped his face with your hand and lifted his face to look at you, "Tell me what you want, baby," and Jongho grabbed onto your thighs harshly from trying to contain his excitement, wanting to be good for you. "I want your milk," you were about to scold him for not calling you by your title when he suddenly leaned back and took your left nipple between his teeth, tugging them hard enough to cause you pleasure while still ensuring you wouldn't feel hurt, "I want my mommy's milk," he said, tongue laying flat on the nipple he just teased.
With his words, you leaned back slightly lower to make sure you were in a more comfortable position as Jongho took this as a sign for him to switch positions as well. He laid on the left side of your body, his legs slightly spread as his hands groped your tits gently. You hummed in approval, loving how he was being considerate of your pleasure even when you wanted to give him his. Gasps even left your lips when Jongho squeezed just hard enough that trickles of breast milk fell out of your nipples, effectively causing Jongho's cock to thrash in its confinement as his tip began creating a wet spot that was mere seconds away from being visible through his sweatpants. But he remained patient as best as he could, reminding himself to not do anything that could result in you punishing him. It was established between you two that he was not supposed to do anything until he got your permission and you were proud that he was able to be so obedient even when he was being so needy. The dark orbs of his eyes were twinkling with anticipation, looking up at you so patiently whilst his fingers massaged your tender flesh. He wasn't the only one who wanted him to suck on your boobs, you've always found a certain attraction towards seeing his pretty lips on you and the fact that he could just be so adorable and submissive in the bedroom for you and ONLY for you.
"Go ahead baby, enjoy your meal," you commanded.
Jongho wasted no time before he latched his mouth to your left boob and began sucking greedily. You winced at the first impact, surprised at how harsh he was being with you but that was just proof of how much he wanted you. It was endearing. Painful, but endearing.
"Fuck, Jongho, slow down," you winced, cringing when he bit onto your nipple a little bit too hard. "Sorry," He mumbled against your flesh, momentarily pausing from his sucking to place kisses as if to compensate for his rough treatment. But of course, he soon went back to drinking your breastmilk. Jongho truly enjoyed the taste of you as the liquid gushed from your nipples, coating his tongue and filling his mouth. He wasn't sure if it was the taste of you per se or it was the fact that it was just something your body created and he was enjoying YOU.
It wasn't hard to see that Jongho was having his own fun. You noticed his hard cock straining against the soft material of his sweatpants but he didn't seem like he cared about it much. Jongho froze when he felt you taking his cock out of his sweatpants, the cold air hitting his warm skin made him shudder and clench his jaws slightly. You pecked his forehead gently to calm his nerves down, "Don't worry baby, mommy will take care of you," you reassured, making him relax slightly.
The moment you started pumping Jongho, he couldn't help but let his eyes flutter close, enjoying the new attention you were giving his cock. Slowly, his mind was flowing with pleasure, mouth almost automatically continued its movement on your boob as the hand that was working on your other boob moved on its own accord. The feeling was amazing, having Jongho powerfully milking your tits with his mouth and his hand. Of course, the stimulations were different but in a good way, you were able to enjoy the different textures that gave different types of pleasure. He made you feel good that you started working on him harder. You knew he liked a bit of pain with his pleasure, opting for you to be as rough as you want with him as he tried to take it all. Jongho exhaled sharply when your fingers trailed down to his balls and cupped them firmly, squeezing slightly to the point that his tip spurted a tiny bit of precum. "You like that, baby? You like mommy playing with your big dumb cock?" Pathetically, Jongho nodded his head quickly, causing his teeth to scrape on your boob, "How can you neglect your cock like this? Look at it, it's hard and red and it's already leaking without me having to do much," the condescending laugh you let out made Jongho curl into your body for comfort, slightly ashamed but revelling at how you put him down so easily, "Oh, what would you do without me? Your balls would have been permanently blue had it not been for me teaching you what to do." Jongho moaned when you resume pumping him, tugging on his thick cock that could barely fit in your hand as his mouth drooled all over your tits and dripped to your stomach.
Without a verbal answer from him, you felt yourself getting slightly ticked. Much to Jongho's disappointment, you used the hand that grabbed onto his cock to pull his head back by his hair. "Mm- Ahh!" He whined, lips trying to find your tit to suck again. "Bad baby," a slap was delivered to his face, not a harsh one but hard enough that it made his eyes glaze slightly, "What do you say to mommy for teaching you how to use your dumb cock?" you growled. His response came first with his hand reaching for your hand that was holding onto his hair to place it back on his throbbing cock. Grinding up against your pal, you felt him twitch slightly, part of the tip slightly wet from his precum smearing. "Thank you mommy for teaching me how to use my dumb cock and giving you a baby, making you a real mommy," he said, the corners of his lips twitching slightly as he was teasing you. You had teased him multiple times in the past about how his mommy kink will eventually turn you into a real mommy so when you found out you were pregnant, Jongho was beyond ecstatic. Not only because now you both have a tiny human that was a combination of the both of you but also because he had finally gotten something to tease you with.
"Fuck," you groaned, resuming pumping him with one hand as the other grabbed his head and forced him back to suckle on you. Happily, Jongho complied, sucking more and more of your milk as you jacked him off. It was heaven for him to be able to enjoy you like that. His free hand that was groping your free tit started to grope harder, taking your pebbled nipple between his fingers to tweak and rub at them. At that point, you were sure that you were soaking through your panties and sleep shorts but of course, you couldn't care less when your husband was so close to cumming all over your hand. Jongho was a whimpering mess at this point, his grip on you tight as if he was trying to control his reflexes. His mouth was no longer sucking on your tit but it was still latched on, his tongue swiping your skin in an attempt to calm himself. The more you pumped his cock and the quicker your movements, the more he became erratic. His hips were moving on their own accords despite Jongho trying to keep still. "I- I'm close," he mumbled into your flesh, face hiding away from you in the embarrassment of his confession. You couldn't help but chuckle at how adorably shy he was. Even after making love and fuking each other multiple times over the years, he still couldn't shake how self-conscious he was. Which you have ensured that you loved and adored that side of him.
"Come on, be a good boy and cum for mommy,"
Jongho's eyes screwed shut as he moaned into your flesh in his mouth, cumming with spurts of his semen splattering all over your skin and his; thighs, abdomen, and some even got onto your chest from the way his tip was positioned. You didn't stop jerking him as he rode his high, mimicking his mouth that returned to sucking your very tender boob but a lot gentler. This time, you started moaning from the stimulation and your hand slowed down its movement on Jongho's cock to the point that it was just stroking him gently with the lightest feather touch and even then, his dick was still responding with twitches. Though he had just came, his dick was still hard and maybe you had yourself to blame for still touching him and moaning but you were only a human and you didn't hear Jongho complaining.
It wasn't until Jongho unlatched his mouth from you and sat up a bit that he noticed the wet patch on your sleep shorts. Suddenly he moved on top of you, trapping you under him as he started peppering kisses all over your face. Then he trailed down your body; from your neck to your cleavage, then stopping momentarily at the band of your sleeping shorts. "How about I thank mommy for helping me cum?" he asked after placing a soft kiss on your lower belly as his hands slowly pulled your sleep shorts and panties completely off of you. You let out a hum when Jongho started placing soft kisses on your pussy, teasing you by intentionally letting his lips linger near your clit and on the sides of your folds but not on the centre yet. "How about another baby?" suddenly Jongho delivered a harsh and quick lick by shoving his tongue between your folds and up, flicking your clit in the process. A yelp escaped you when Jongho used his hands to part your legs and folded them slightly to open yourself to him. Your glistening core was glaring at him and he couldn't help but lick his lips, hungry for a different taste of you.
"Yeah, I'm gonna make you a mommy again."

how you met the love of your life, benny miller
pairing: benny miller x bartender reader [second person, no y/n]
warnings: mentions + consumption of alcohol. that’s really it. flirting?? idk
word count: 2,116
a/n: heyyy I’ve been really inactive (at least in terms of posting) but I’ve opened up requests recently! this isn’t a request but thought I’d write something just for fun and to get back into writing. here’s the post where I talked abt the requests, feel free to send something in!! also sorry I kind of weirdly switched time perspectives closer to the end so uhhh hope you don’t mind it just felt weird trying to fix it so I didn’t. but yeah I’ve been hella obsessed with benny miller from triple frontier so figured I’d write smth for him 🤗 honestly not entirely sure I like this oneshot that much but yeah whatever if you enjoy feel free to lmk <3
The bar was quiet, to say the least. It was a Saturday night, which typically meant that many of your usuals would be there, as well as other strangers looking to unwind after the work week. But, fortunately for you, it was mostly empty, save for most of the aforementioned usuals. This was an empty shift no one else wanted to take, and you didn’t have plans so you just decided to take it on a whim. You wiped off a glass and set it on the counter next to a few others, hearing the bell on the door ring again.
Glancing up, you saw a group of four [hot] men come in, talking and smiling with each other. You watched them as they made their way over to a booth closer to the back. They got settled in as you continued to dry different beer and cocktail glasses behind the counter.
Since it wasn’t busy, you spent most of your time just doing mundane tasks to clean and fix different things around the bar and in the back. Eventually, one of the men came from the booth and up to the bar to grab drinks. He wore a dark red t-shirt and beige pants, with a navy baseball cap atop his head and aviators covering his eyes.
He asked for four beers, which you then handed to him. He nodded in acknowledgment, and was turning to leave with the bottles, but paused.
“Hey, by the way-“ he turned again to face you. “-my friend over there thinks you’re cute.”
You were admittedly a little stunned to hear that, but you let your eyes drift over to the booth where his friends sat. Also to your surprise, two of the other three were looking back at you. The one wearing a blue button up over a white tee and a backwards green baseball cap put his hand up with a grin and winked.
“What’s his name?” You waved back, albeit more hesitant.
“Benny. I would’ve sent him over but didn’t know if you’d like that.” He put the beers down on the counter as he leaned against it.
“Tell him he can come over if he wants, I don’t mind. Oh, but what’s your name?”
“Just call me Frankie.” He stuck his hand out and you shook it. “Let me know if he starts harassing you or something, I’ll beat ‘im up.”
You smiled and chuckled quietly. “I don’t think that’ll be necessary, but thank you.”
He nodded before grabbing the beers and heading back to the booth. You saw him put the bottles down on the table before sitting down and saying something to the rest of the group. It probably had something to do with what you said about Benny, seeing as he stood up suddenly and began [nearly] bounding over, beer in hand, like a golden retriever with a stick in its mouth.
“Hey.” You greeted him as he sat on one of the barstools and leaned against the counter.
“Hey,” He smiled at you, the corners of his eyes crinkling upwards like his lips. “I’m Ben, or you can call me Benny.”
You didn’t know what you were expecting but it certainly wasn’t his voice when he first spoke. It was deep and smooth, with a hint of a southern drawl, like music to your ears or honey for your tea.
“Yeah, Frankie over there told me.” You nodded over in the direction of the booth he had just come from. “Said you thought I was cute?”
Benny chuckled, letting his head tilt downwards as if to look at his shirt or shoes bashfully. It was a wonderful sound. “Yeah, yeah, I still do.”
You suddenly became aware of the fact that you were feeling warm all over, and a little nervous. You’d have your fair share of people hitting on you, but Benny seemed different for once. He seemed very genuine.
You weren’t sure what it was. Maybe the way his dark dirty blonde hair peeked out from the edges of his backwards baseball cap. Maybe the way his eyelashes were so thick and dark that you could practically see them from a mile away. Maybe the way his voice had your stomach doing somersaults any time he spoke. Anyway, you weren’t sure what it was.
“Well thank you then, hon.” You smiled back at him. “I think you’re pretty cute too.”
“Thanks.” He chuckled again, before taking a sip of his beer.
That noise. You would never get enough of it. It was deep, slightly raspy, and had a bit of a stutter to it. Your knees nearly buckled underneath you when he looked back up at you with those pretty blue eyes.
“So,” Benny started, setting his bottle down on the counter and crossing his arms. “Could I get to know you a little better?”
The once-boring evening turns into something much more enjoyable from that point on. You continue serving the customers that are already there and the ones that come in later. Benny sits at the counter, talking to you about each of your likes and dislikes, daily life, stuff like that. He asks you about the bar, you ask him about his fights and training. It’s nice and calm, and he’s very easy to talk to. He makes a joke about every other sentence, but you can tell he’s not trying too hard, it’s just something that comes naturally to him.
You ask him a couple times if he needs to get back to his friends, who are still nursing their beers and talking amongst themselves, but he smiles and waves the notion away.
“I’d much rather talk to you, honey.”
This man was going to be the death of you, with his stupid pretty blue eyes and fluffy hair and soft jaw defined by that barely-there stubble.
The night continues on. You and Benny end up talking until closing, long after his first and only beer is gone, when you realize that it’s only you two and his friends left in the building.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I talked your ear off all night. I should start closing up.” You apologize, wiping the counter with a rag one last time for the night.
Benny smiles at you gently. “You’re fine, don’t worry about it. I had fun, even if all we were doing was talkin’.”
“Me too.”
There’s a bit of silence as you finish cleaning and putting some things away, before you decide to speak again.
“Hey, I hope it isn’t too forward of me, but could I get your number?” You’re not sure where the sudden confidence comes from, but it appears and you welcome it.
“Honey,” Benny grins a little wider this time. “You can never be too forward with me. Here, hand me your phone real quick.”
You feel your cheeks warm up again as you hand it to him, waiting as he creates a contact for himself. He hands you the phone back a moment later. “Benny Miller,” the contact reads.
“Thanks, Miller.”
“No problem. Make sure to text me later. I’ll be waitin’ for it.” He winks.
You can only chuckle in response, feeling almost giddy as you notice his friends make their way over to the bar behind Benny.
One of them, not Frankie, though, came up next to Benny. He was slightly shorter than Benny if he were standing, but looked somewhat like him, instead with shorter hair of a similar dark blonde hue, and more grown out facial hair. He shared Benny’s striking blue eyes.
“Hey, we’re heading out now.” He told Benny, clapping a hand on his shoulder. “You wanna leave with me or do you need the keys to the truck? I can leave with Frankie and Santi if you need to stay longer.”
Ah, so that’s the name of the other man next to Frankie. All four of them were very attractive, now that you get a nice up-close look at them. You give a little wave to Frankie as he talks with “Santi.” He smiles and waves back, not breaking their discussion.
“Oh, uh…” Benny trailed off, before looking back at you. “Did you need a ride?”
As much as you would have liked that, you had your own car to take home. Damn, the one time you choose not to get an Uber.
“No, I have my own car, it’s fine. And I need to just close up anyways, I’ve cleaned up most of the stuff already.”
“Okay,” He grinned at you before turning back to the other man. “I’ll take the keys, thanks.”
The man nodded and fished them out of his pocket, along with his wallet. He placed a $20 and a $5 bill on the counter and slid it over to you.
“I’m Will,” Like Frankie, he holds his hand out for you to shake, which you take. “Thanks for the beers. Let me know if you need anything.” He says that last part to Benny, before nodding again at you in acknowledgment and then turning to leave with Frankie and Santi—who you didn’t get to talk to, unfortunately.
He seemed fun, though, as he yelled out to Benny as they began opening the door. “See you later, tonto!” [“See you later, silly!”]
You giggle a little as the door swings closed and Benny scoffs under his breath. “They sound like a fun group.”
“Yeah, they can be. A bit of a handful, though.”
“Present company excluded?” You tilt your head slightly and raise an eyebrow.
“You’ll just have to find that out when we go on a real date, honey.” He flashes you a smile, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he does so. “Could I walk you out when you’re done here?”
For nearly the tenth time tonight butterflies arise in your stomach at his antics. “Yeah, that’d be nice. Let me go in the back real quick and then we can go.”
He nods and checks his phone as you head behind the doors to the storage rooms and kitchen area, just doing a check-up to make sure everything’s locked and secured. You finish that up quickly and turn off all the lights in the rooms before coming back out behind the bar counter to face Benny.
He looks up from his phone and gives you a sweet smile as he turns it off and slides it back into his back pocket. “Everything good?”
“Yep,” You reach into a cabinet behind you to grab your bag and coat. “Ready to go.”
You finish putting on your coat as you come out from behind the bar to stand next to Benny, who gets up from his seat before pushing in the stool.
“Shall we?” He holds his bent arm out to you as if you two were about to go out on a walk in a fancy flower garden.
You chuckle quietly at the motion, before going to hook your arm with his. “We shall.”
And so the two of you walk out—you locking up before you leave, of course—and he leads you to your car.
“Thanks for walking me out.” You smile at him under the mixture of the glow of the moon and the shine of the streetlights. “You’re real sweet, you know that?”
“It’s no problem. Just been raised that way,” Benny grins back. “Gotta make sure you get home safe.”
You hum in agreement, tracing his features with your eyes for the last time that night. Your ears almost don’t hear what he says because you’re so enthralled with just studying his face. “Real pretty too, Benny.”
His smile drops for a moment, out of shock, you think, before he just looks down again at the ground, cheeks flushed. He almost looks embarrassed, and for a moment you’re afraid you’ve said something wrong. You open your mouth to speak but he says something first.
“I think that’s the best compliment a man like me could get, honey.” He brings his gaze back up to make eye contact with you, his voice smooth and deep. “Thank you. You’re real pretty too.”
Even as you head home alone, driving along the dark and near-empty streets, you can’t stop thinking about him. About how pretty he looked under the moonlight in the latest hours of night, the early hours of the morning, in that barren parking lot. About how easy it was to talk to him and how interested he was in the things you had to say. The dark was unsettling, but his presence made everything a bit brighter.
You would definitely have to find a way to thank Frankie for introducing you later.

Ah, the chaotic dumbasses return!
Tumblr media
It had been about a day since their kidnapping, judging by the cracks in the wagon that let a little light seep through. Scar was honestly beginning to feel a little faint from the lack of food and water, but all thoughts of how hungry or thirsty he was fled his mind whenever Grian let out a soft whimper of pain. It hurt. The fact that Scar couldn’t help his friend or even give him a reassuring hug hurt. He had to settle for whispering kind words to Grian, hoping they reached his friend’s fever-addled brain.
They were almost at the village. The mercenary- Marc, Scar had learned his name was- had stopped the wagon some time ago to tell them. Scar had to keep himself from angrily snapping ‘hurry up’ at the man, his worry over Grian’s state and his inability to do anything about it making him wound up. It looked like the beginnings of an infection, and Scar hoped that they had caught it early enough where it wouldn’t become that big of an issue. Marc seemed to have bought his soulbound bluff, and since Scar was clearly too important to lose, that meant Grian would be taken care of. Hopefully.
The wagon stopped, the sudden lack of motion jostling the passengers. Scar closed his eyes in anticipation of the wagon cover being yanked back, light flooding into the previously dark space. When Marc’s face finally came into focus, Scar noticed he was holding a dark green bundle of fabric that he assumed was clothes. “Well howdy there. Long time no see.” Scar’s face and tone was completely deadpan as he spoke, making the mercenary groan and roll his eyes.
Tossing the bundles at Scar, Marc turned away. “Right. Put those cloaks on. We’ll need them for the village.” He started to walk away, pausing when Scar coughed. “What? What could you possibly need now?”
“I hate to break it to you,” Scar began, “but I’m afraid my hands are tied.” After a moment, he cracked a grin. “Literally.”
Marc took a brief moment to reflect on all the life choices he had made that led him to this point, regretting each and every one of them. Slowly, he turned back. “If you even think of pulling some stupid stunt-” He grabbed Scar’s arm in a vice grip, yanking him around so that he could cut through the ropes before holding his sword to Grian’s neck- “your soulmate gets it.”
Scar grit his teeth, exhaling hard to keep himself from getting too angry. He noticed how the ends of his hair had begun to turn white when his anger spiked, a consequence he assumed came from suppressing his vex magic. It was no problem. He just had to make sure he didn’t get too emotional. He could do that! Totally! Carefully, Scar put the cloak on, moving slowly so as to not anger Marc. Once he had done that, he turned back to Marc, watching with narrowed eyes as he roughly cut the ropes tying Grian’s arms behind his back and practically manhandled him into the cloak.
“Woah now.” Scar was barely able to keep his voice level, to keep the anger from rising in his tone. “Be gentle with him. He’s injured. Remember our deal?”
Marc rolled his eyes. “Yeah, yeah. You vexes and your stupid deals.” Pulling Grian out of the wagon, he beckoned Scar out with a jerk of his head. “Put your hood up and get out. We’re walking to the village.”
Scar scrambled out of the back of the wagon, pulling up his hood before reaching for Grian. “Let me carry him. You can’t seriously expect him to walk like that- he’s hardly even conscious.”
Marc held his sword up again, pressing the blade against Grian’s neck. “And how should I trust you not to run off the instant you have him?”
Scar’s shoulders slumped as he looked away. “I don’t know my way around the area. I don’t think I’d make it very far, and even if I did, he’s sick. He needs help, and I can’t give it to him.” He felt too vulnerable at that moment, all of his emotional guards stripped away in the face of the threat. Once again, proving how powerless he actually was. How useless he was.
Okay, now was not the time to be spiraling. He needed to pull himself together. Emotions could come later, when everything was normal and they weren’t in danger of being killed or worse. Dealing with emotions and stress in a healthy manner? Why, he’d never heard of her. No siree.
Marc laughed at that, before shoving Grian against Scar. “Fine. Goddamn lovebirds. Come on, then.” Still laughing, he began walking down the path, his sword at his side.
Carefully picking Grian up and holding him so that his wound wouldn’t be jostled as much, Scar followed Marc. Feeling the avian pressed up against him, feverish and trembling, Scar couldn’t help but feel even more guilty. This whole situation was entirely his fault. His fault for injuring Grian. His fault for running away. His fault for attracting the mercenaries, his fault for being powerless against them, his fault for…
Scar nearly tripped over a root that was sticking out of the ground, cursing under his breath as he steadied himself, keeping his grip on Grian firm but gentle. He had fallen a little behind Marc because of this, and though his legs were weak from the prolonged sitting in the wagon he caught up easily. They continued down the path in relative silence, Grian’s soft whimpers occasionally breaking the quiet.
Soon, the village came into view, and Scar’s whole body relaxed. Relief flooded through him, and Marc shot him an amused glance. “Yeah, yeah. We’re gonna get that bird brain some bandages and medicine, so calm down.”
Scar had to really keep himself from snapping angrily at Marc. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see his hair beginning to lighten in color again. How dare he act so friendly? How dare he-!
Deep breaths. In… and out. Just like Grian had done. Scar couldn’t risk his vex magic running wild again. Couldn’t risk the only chance he had at getting Grian the help he needed. He could at least do this one thing right.
Walking through the village, Scar noticed they were getting some strange looks but nothing further than that. He supposed things could’ve been worse. Marc led them to a shop that looked as though it had been built decades ago, but still well-used among the villagers.
“Stay out of the way, in a corner or something,” Marc instructed, “I’ll be quick. And don’t even think about trying to leave. I’m not above hurting you.”
Scar sighed. “I know. I’m not putting him in danger.” Stepping back, Scar watched as Marc began to browse, picking out arrows, potions, bandages, and other various things Scar couldn’t be bothered to really pay attention to.
A few minutes later, Grian began mumbling deliriously, pressing against Scar as his words became ever more garbled and frantic. Frowning, Scar did his best to calm his friend, though there wasn’t much he could do other than murmur “it’s okay”, and “I’m here”.
A gentle cough interrupted his panic, and Scar looked up to see a younger woman holding a bag. “Is he alright?” she asked, looking at Grian before glancing back up at Scar. “He shouldn’t be out if he’s sick.”
Scar opened his mouth to answer, but Marc was already walking over, having finished his little shopping trip. “Ah, so sorry to bother you, miss. We’re travelers, you see, and our friend was injured. We were just making a stop to pick up some medicine.” As he spoke, he grabbed Scar’s arm and began pulling him away from the woman. “Thank you, though!”
As Scar stumbled out after Marc, still holding Grian close, none of them noticed a figure in a red cloak watching them from the shadows. Pulling a small piece of parchment out of her pocket, the woman simply wrote two words.
Found them.
She carefully folded the parchment into an intricate origami moth, before bringing it up to her lips and giving it a soft kiss. Magic flowed through the paper, bringing the moth to life. “To the knights,” she whispered, and the message took flight on the wind of her breath. She watched it go before turning back and gazing off in the direction Marc had taken Grian and Scar.
For now, she’d stay hidden in the shadows. Until the others arrived, and they could get their friends back.
Until the night came, and under the light of the pearlescent moon, revenge would be served.

do you ship Stary (Stan x Gary)?
oh my god ABSOLUTELY. for some reason i got reaaally into it and came up with an au of how they got closer. i’m not usually a fan of ships with one-episode characters, but stary is SO great. HOLD ON LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT THAT AU
okay, so, we all know how “all about mormons” ended and that we have never heard of gary after that, right? now just let’s imagine he stayed in the school, in the same class as stan and others, but visibly started to avoid the main four. he hung out with the “background kids” and mostly girls, because they all adored how nice he is.
it didn’t actually make any difference for main four – they still thought gary was lame and were not interested in talking to him since he’s not a new kid in the class anymore. they all didn’t really like him. except for stan.
stan couldn’t get the thought of gary out of his head for all the following years. he didn’t make any attempts to befriending gary again, because he knew guys wouldn’t understand and he was terrified of hearing rejection again, so he mostly just… kinda secretly looked through gary’s social media once a week (or more often) and sometimes watched him out of the corner of his eye in the classroom.
he saw that gary was doing pretty fine without him, so he didn’t wanna be an inconvenience, but the thought. the thought that he had missed his chance to be friends with one of the most sincere and comforting people in the whole school only because of the peer pressure.
but he didn’t thought he could have a chance to reconnect until he has heard that gary’s parents are getting a divorce and that the “perfect mormon house” secretly had its troubles. and then, as it was absolutely destined, after the lessons ended, he sees gary sitting in the classroom all alone with a blank expression on his face and tired look in his eyes. and without giving it a second thought he walks up to gary and asks if everything’s fine.
and they start talking. for an hour, if not more. stan know some shit about divorcing parents, troubles at home and an urge to drink to feel happy (which turned out to be gary’s problem too), so he know how to support him, and gary is such a great listener. they start with discussing gary’s family problems, then eventually they start remembering their first time seeing each other, and stan (unexpectedly for even himself) openly admits he regrets fucking up things with their friendship, and he has dreamed of finally talking to him again for, like, ages. and gary just genuinely smiles and takes his hand saying that they still have time for that.
eventually they hang out together more. with gary there isn’t a lot of crazy adventures, and stan, who’s got pretty sick of those, feels so relaxed while being with him. the only thing is that they mostly meet privately and secretly from the rest of the main four, because stan feels this irrational shame for being friends with someone they don’t like. it kinda upsets gary, but he doesn’t want to end their friendship because of the same reason it ended the first time.
so yeah, that takes them two or three months until stan finally realises the unpleasant truth – he doesn’t wanna be just friends with gary and his nearly-obsession with him for the last five years was more likely a behaviour of a person who’s desperately in love. fuck. he doesn’t confess his feelings to gary because he’s too scared of fucking thing up the second time.
and it seems to be working, but the more stan spends time with gary, the more love he feels, until one day he finally snaps and while one of their walks in the park he very awkwardly kisses gary, who (honestly) doesn’t really seem to mind it.
and stan, an example of bravery, apologises and runs away before gary has a chance to answer him properly. ‘cause stan’s a jerk and he’s panicking.
he’s not used to handling stressful situations by himself, so he calls kyle because he has no one else to talk to:
stan: Dude, I have a problem. A big one.
kyle: Woah what happened??? Do you want me to come to your place?
stan: I just kissed a dude.
kyle: Okay I knew I’d hear these words from you one day.
stan: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU KNEW.
kyle: Oh please–
stan: We’ll talk about it later.
kyle: Pff, sure, dude. So you’re gay? Is this a coming out? I’m really proud of you finally admitting it out loud and sharing this with me, you know I’ll always support you whenever you ne–
stan: It’s Gary Harrison.
kyle: What. The mormon kid????
stan: Yeah, we kinda… Hung out together in secret…
kyle: But you hated him???
stan: WELL IT TURNS OUT I DIDN’T.
kyle: So what do you call me for?
stan: Oh, right. I kinda… ran away after we kissed?…
kyle: WHY.
stan: I DON’T KNOW, MAN, I PANICKED.
so kyle as the most supportive friend ever first laughs at stan, then helps him to understand what to do next. (and totally tells about it to cartman)
and, well, it’s pretty long enough so i guess i’ll stop here, because the rest of it is pretty much the plot of any slowburn mlm 200k words fic lmao
so yeah. answering to your question: i love stary. a lot.

@emen-98 @1lostsoul0fishbowl
Chapter Four
Chapter Five
Chrissy was putting her books in her locker, humming a Bob Dylan song under her breath as she did so. She slammed her locker close, jumping when she saw Eddie leaning against the other side of her locker. She glared at him.
"Hey, Witch," Eddie grinned.
"Hey, Freak," she said and slapped his shoulder. "You scared me."
"Sorry. . .so, you're a fan of Bob Dylan?" Eddie asked.
"Who isn't?" Chrissy asked with a grin.
"Hmm, my mom was a fan. . . not as much as she was of Muddy Waters, though," Eddie said and paused. "I still have some of her records. Hey! I got a good idea!"
"What?" Chrissy asked.
"You want to come over this evening and listen to them?" Eddie asked.
"Um. . .yeah, I would love that!" Chrissy exclaimed with excitement, her eyes lighting up, and she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.
Eddie grinned bashfully at her, pulling a lock of hair in front of his face to hide behind it. They stared at each other for a moment before Eddie cleared his throat and dropped his hair.
"So, how was your Christmas break?" Eddie asked.
"It was good. Quiet meal with my mom, my brother, and the Byers'," Chrissy said.
"The Byers'?" Eddie asked.
"Oh, yeah, Will wanted to have Christmas dinner with us, but I honestly think he wanted to escape his mother's cooking. There's a lot of things that Joyce Byers can do, but cooking is not one of them. Luckily, for them, Dusty and I love to cook together," Chrissy grinned. "Plus, I think Will wanted to spend some more drawing time together."
"You draw?" Eddie asked.
"Yeah, I'll bring by my sketchbook and show you," Chrissy said. "You're going to have to tell me where you live."
"Or I could drive you after school," Eddie said. "If you don't mind."
"You're lucky I have my sketchbook in my bag," Chrissy said. "See you after school."
Chrissy couldn't stop grinning for the rest of the day. She grinned all the way to lunch, plopping down at the table with a wistful smile on her face.
"You look like you have a hanger in your mouth, Henderson," Steve said.
"You do. What's got you so happy? Did you do something slutty?" Robin asked.
"I'm going over to Eddie's house to listen to records after school," Chrissy replied.
"Oh, so you're going to do something slutty," Robin said.
"Not necessarily, Robin," Nancy said, but she was grinning.
"You guys are taking something completely innocent and turning it into something dirty," Chrissy laughed.
"Doesn't sound so innocent to me," Jonathan said. "Are his parents going to be there?"
"His dad and no," Chrissy frowned. "I doubt we're going to do anything, and just because I like him doesn't mean that he likes me back."
"He'd be crazy not too," Steve scoffed.
Chrissy scooped some peas into her spoon and held it up threateningly.
"Enough, anyone who says anything else about it gets the peas," Chrissy said.
"Well, I'm terrified," Steve said sarcastically, and Nancy laughed.
Chrissy couldn't help but let her thoughts get the best of her as the rest of the day moved at a snail's pace. Finally, the end of the came around, she waved at Steve and Nancy as she walked towards Eddie's van. She found him walking towards it with a long-legged girl wearing a baseball cap. She looked like she could be his sister. That must be Ronnie, his best friend since he was eight or so Eddie had told her. She bounced over to them.
"Hi!" Chrissy exclaimed, startling Eddie.
"Jesus! Are you getting me back for this morning?" Eddie asked, putting his hand to his chest.
"Yeah," Chrissy replied.
"Don't be such a witch, Henderson," Eddie said teasingly.
"Don't be such a freak, Munson," Chrissy replied.
"You must be Chrissy," the other girl said.
"You must be Ronnie, Eddie's told me so much about you," she said, as she reached out to shake her head.
"And Eddie simply won't shut up about you," Ronnie said. "Even told us all about how you have a little brother who plays D&D whom you simply adore."
"Shut up, Ecker! Speaking of your little brother, is he getting a ride from someone?" Eddie asked.
"He usually rides his bike home with his party, but he's being driven home by Jonathan Byers today," Chrissy shrugged. "You haven't even met him yet, and you're very concerned about his well-being."
"Well, he's a future member of Hellfire," Eddie grinned. "Can't let potential like that get away."
"Hopefully, Hellfire will still be there by the time he gets to high school," Ronnie said. "Bet Higgins is going to get rid of it once you graduate."
"God, I hate that guy. He always calls me Miss Cunningham," Chrissy rolled her eyes.
"Why?" Ronnie asked.
"It was my name before I got adopted," Chrissy said. "It doesn't matter how many times I correct him, he still does it."
"What an asshole," Ronnie said.
"I hope you don't mind, but I promised Ronnie here a ride back home," Eddie said.
"No. I don't mind, I can ride in the back. . .unless you changed your mind about me coming over," Chrissy said.
"Never!" Eddie grinned.
"You're more than welcome to sit up front with Eddie," Ronnie said, smiling knowingly.
"No, I'm good," Chrissy grinned. "Seriously."
Ronnie punched Eddie in the arm, laughing at him, before climbing into the front seat. Eddie opened the back door for Chrissy, bowing.
"Milady, you're horribly drawn carriage awaits," Eddie said.
Chrissy giggled and climbed into the back, settling in on the floor. She leaned against the back of Eddie's chair to look at Ronnie.
"So, you got any embarrassing stories about Eddie to tell me about?" Chrissy asked.
"No!" Eddie exclaimed.
"Oh, I got tons!" Ronnie exclaimed Eddie drove off.
"Nope! No! No way!" He yelled.
"Shortly, after we met, there was this caterpillar that Eddie had befriended, but of course, in his haste to tell me his story, he stumbled and fell upon his dear old caterpillar. . .of course, killing the poor thing. Distraught, Eddie had to throw the caterpillar - ,"
"Well, if you're going to tell the story, Veronica, then you should at least tell her the name of my fallen friend. Ah, good, Ser Lawrence - a dear and sweet friend -"
"Anyway, Eddie had to throw Ser Lawrence a funeral. He made me attend, as well as his uncle," Ronnie said.
"Aww, that's not embarrassing. That's so sweet," Chrissy said.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of police sirens, and Eddie sighed before pulling off to the side. Ronnie scowled when a police officer tapped on the window. Eddie quickly rolled down it and put on a forced grin.
"Officer Moore, always a pleasure," Eddie said sarcastically.
"I thought that was you, Munson. Going awfully fast there," Officer said. "The roads are dangerous this time of year. . . Icey. Anything could happen. Wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."
"Well, yeah, I know that considering I have snow tires on, and I wasn't speeding at all," Eddie said dryly.
"Well, you can't be too careful," Officer Moore said. "You haven't been drinking today, have you?"
"Considering I came from school, no," Eddie sighed.
"If I search the car, am I going to find any illicit substances?" He asked.
"You never do," Eddie replied.
Chrissy popped her head in between the seats.
"What seems to be the problem, Officer?" Chrissy said cheerfully.
"Just making sure Junior over here isn't speeding," Officer Moore said.
"Well, allow me to introduce myself," Chrissy said as she wrapped her arms around Eddie from behind, her hands on his chest. "I'm Chrissy Henderson."
"There's a picture of you with other kids on Chief Hopper's desk," Officer Moore realized.
"Oh, well, that's because Hop's practically my uncle," she said with a grin. "And he would just love to hear about his cops doing their duty. Especially hearing about how they're not making any illegal stops and searches. He so loves hearing all about his cops doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing. He hates having to fire people for incompetence."
"No, I suppose he wouldn't enjoy it," Officer Moore muttered.
"And he'd want you to know that if anyone has a problem with my dear friend Eddie, that he would definitely want to know about it. I would hate to have to tell him about that," Chrissy said. "Gosh, I hope I don't have to do that. He hates when his precious niece gets upset."
"Have a nice day," Officer Moore said and walked away.
They waited until they drove off before they turned to Chrissy. Eddie hugged her tightly.
"Holy shit! That was awesome!" Eddie exclaimed.
"Yeah, I definitely like you," Ronnie said.
"It was no big deal. Seriously though, if any cop bothers you, I'll make sure Hop knows, and he can fire their asses," Chrissy said. "He hates when cops do shit like that."
"I highly doubt that idiot is going to come back after that speech," Eddie said. "I feel like I owe you something. Oh, I could cook for you!"
"Eddie, she deserves to be thanked not to be killed," Ronnie said.
"Oh, ha, ha, Ecker," Eddie rolled his eyes. "I just never bothered to learn to cook. Surely, it can't be that hard."
"It's basically like making a potion sometimes," Chrissy said.
"I never thought about it like that before," Eddie gasped.
"Well, once you drop Ronnie off, maybe we can go to the store, and I can pick some easy starter meals for you to make," Chrissy said. "I can teach you how to cook."
"Good luck with that," Ronnie chuckled.
After dropping off Ronnie, Eddie drove them to the grocery store. Of course, shopping with Eddie wasn't easy. She lost him on multiple occasions, and when they finally did get the things she needed to help him make vegetable soup, he ended up revealing that he had nothing to make it in. The next stop was Melvald's. Chrissy wasn't too surprised to find Hopper in there chatting to Joyce.
"Hiya, Hop, Joyce!" Chrissy greeted with a grin.
"Hey, Chrissy, didn't know you were friends with Junior," Hopper said.
Chrissy looked over at Eddie and she could tell that he didn't care for that nickname.
"I'm not friends with Junior. I am, however, friends with Eddie," Chrissy said.
"What are you up to?" Hopper asked.
"I'm teaching Eddie how to cook," She said brightly and looked at him with mirth in her eyes. "What are you up to, Chief?"
"I stopped by to pick up something," Hopper said.
"I'm sure," Chrissy said with a knowing grin.
"Oh, I think you lost your friend," Joyce said.
"Every time!" Chrissy exclaimed, and then she saw him perusing the aisles.
"How was your first day back from break?" Joyce asked.
"Really good," Chrissy grinned.
"I'm sure it was," Joyce said with a knowing grin of her own.
"I better make sure Eddie's okay," Chrissy said, blushing and pausing. "You should probably keep an eye on one of your officers. Officer Moore."
"What did he do?" Hopper scowled.
"I don't think Eddie wants to make an official complaint or make a big deal out of it. He did stop Eddie without provocation. He wasn't speeding at all, and he kind of threatened to search his vehicle for drugs. It doesn't seem like this was the first time either," Chrissy said. "He seems to have it out for Eddie. I wasn't sure but I thought you ought to know."
"Yeah, I'll look into it. I know Moore has bad blood with Al Munson, but I didn't think he'd go after his kid," Hopper said.
"You don't think he'd make it even more difficult for Eddie because I told you, will he?" Chrissy asked with a frown.
"I will make sure he won't, but in the meantime, maybe you should be riding with Eddie after school and tell me if he does it again," Hopper said, thinking out loud. "Meanwhile, I'll make sure Powell rides with Moore."
"Did you just give me permission to ride with a boy, Hopper?" Chrissy asked teasingly and Joyce laughed.
"No, that is not what I did. You know what, never mind, I shouldn't have asked you do that anyway," Hopper scowled.
"Really, I don't mind," Chrissy said and skipped away. "Me alone. . .in the back of his van. . .anything could happen, Uncle Hop!"
"Chrissy!"
"Didn't you need to pick up something?!" She asked, and she could hear growling followed by the sound of Joyce laughing.
Chrissy knew that as much as he wanted to, he wouldn't do the same thing that Moore was doing, but he was thinking about it. She found Eddie at the back of the store, looking at the kitchen supplies.
"You need to stop wondering off," she said in amusement.
"I figured I would let you catch up with your uncle," Eddie shrugged. "Is that his wife?"
"Practically. She would be if Hopper ever got his head out of his ass," Chrissy said. "Before he knows it, someone else is going to see how great Joyce is."
"Hmm, maybe he's just scared to lose her," Eddie mumbled.
"There's a chance of that happening no matter the situation," Chrissy said. "Why shouldn't he make the most of it while he can?"
"He definitely should," Eddie said with a grin.
Gathering the supplies he needed and a few extra things, Chrissy left with Eddie back to his house. It was a decent looking house, smaller than her own, but it was nice.
"It's a piece of shit," Eddie laughed when Chrissy told him that. "You don't really mean that, do you?"
"Of course, I mean it," she laughed as she set the stuff on his kitchen counter.
"I hope your mom doesn't mind that you spent some of your money on this," Eddie blushed.
"It was my idea, I was happy to help. Besides, not all of it was my allowance. Some of it was when I worked at Benny's Diner," Chrissy said.
"Shit, you did work there. You didn't see. . .?" Eddie trailed off.
"I was supposed to work that evening, and when I arrived, the cops were already there. . . And I saw his body," Chrissy said sadly.
"I'm sorry, I'm guessing you knew him well," Eddie said. "I mean, I knew him too. Sort of. He was a good guy, funny, and generous too."
"Yeah, he was, and yeah, I did. He was amazing, and when I told him I wanted to save up to buy my own car, he was the first one to give me a job," Chrissy said and went quiet for a moment. "It's total bullshit that everyone is still saying he killed himself. He was murdered. Karma got his killer in the end, though. They got killed by a wild animal. . . Benny was supposed to go on a date with my mother that next weekend. . . Sometimes, I can still hear my mother crying about Benny. . . He was so great with Dusty too. . .he would have been a great dad."
The woman had actually got killed by El when they came for her. Chrissy tried not to think about how she was killed, and a part of her felt like she deserved it for what she did to Benny, but it also wasn't her place to judge considering how biased she was. She had been staring at an empty spot on Eddie's counter when she felt his hand slip into hers. He squeezed.
"Sorry," he said softly.
"Yeah, me too," Chrissy said, sniffling. "Anyway, let's get started! Eddie, what - "
Carefully, Eddie pulled her into his arms and hugged her gently. She froze for a moment before relaxing and hugging him tightly, letting the tears escape. Her body shook as she buried her face into his shoulder and cried. Everything had happened so fast that day, and the days after that, Chrissy hadn't really let herself mourn for Benny. Now, she was letting it all in. After crying into his shoulder for a while, she kind of just stayed there. . .not moving and not saying a word as she enjoyed the feeling of his arms around her. Slowly, Chrissy pulled back and wiped her eyes.
"Thanks," she whispered.
After a while, Chrissy managed to get herself together and began instructing Eddie to make vegetable soup. It was pretty simple, and when she told him that she measured by heart, he nearly dumped the entire thing of pepper into the soup.
"You told me to measure by heart," Eddie said.
"Within reason!" Chrissy giggled.
Eddie cackled and hip checked her. When they got the soup boiling onto the stove, Eddie threw his head back as he stirred, laughing madly.
"Yeah, I like this," he said.
"You're crazy," she laughed.
"Says the person who's choosing to hang out with me," Eddie said.
"Well, maybe I'm crazy too," she said and he paused to gaze fondly at her. "Stir the pot, Eddie."
"You look crazy too," Eddie replied.
"I meant, stir the soup in the pot!" She laughed.
Once Eddie managed to successfully make the soup, they sat down at the kitchen to eat it.
"Hey, I didn't do half bad," Eddie grinned.
"You did really good," Chrissy said.
"Well, I couldn't have done it without you," Eddie said with a smile and nudged her foot with his. "Nor would I have wanted to. It's kind of the perfect weather to have soup, you know."
"Yeah," Chrissy said softly.
After they finished eating, they put the leftovers away and started to clean up. Eddie insisted on helping even though he had been the one to cook. Chrissy figured he only wanted to help so he could flick water at her. He's such a menace. After putting the dishes away, Eddie brought her back to his room. They listened to Muddy Waters for a while and other blues music with Eddie telling her all about how he used to dance with his mom. Chrissy could tell by the look in his eyes that he really loved his mother, and even though he lost her when he was really young, he clearly missed her every single day.
He changed the record, and she smiled when she heard Bob Dylan start to play. He danced with her and spun her around the room, her laughter bouncing off the walls with the music. In that moment, it was just them and no one else. And when "Simple Twist of Fate" came on, he pulled her close to him. She knew what the song was about, a man having a moment with a woman, and all it took was him to fall in love with her, but it wasn't destined to work out. Chrissy was determined to have several moments with Eddie, and she hoped they would mean something to him as they did for her. And even though this song was about lost love and heartbreak, she could feel it in her bones that this was their song.
"Eddie?!" A voice from the living room called.
Eddie and Chrissy jumped apart pretty quickly, their faces red. Eddie shut off the music and turned to Chrissy.
"It's my uncle Wayne," Eddie said. "Sometimes, he comes to check on me."
"Aww," Chrissy said.
"Yeah, it's real cute," Eddie said, rolling his eyes.
"I wanna meet him," Chrissy said.
"What? No," Eddie said, and she gave him a look. "Alright, fine, but no asking him stories about baby Eddie."
"You know, I didn't think of that, but that's a good idea," Chrissy said, and Eddie groaned.
"Eddie?" Wayne called and popped his head into the room. "Oh, sorry."
"Hi, I'm Chrissy Henderson," she greeted and held out her hand.
"Wayne Munson," he replied, shaking her hand. "I didn't know Eddie had a girlfriend."
"What?! She's not my girlfriend," Eddie yelped. "I mean, she's my friend, and she just happens to be a girl. Technically, that does make her my girlfriend, but you know, guys and girls can be friends without it being romantic. Look at me and Ronnie except that we're not the same in the way. . .well, it's just different."
Chrissy bit her lip, repressing a giggle, and placed her hand on his shoulder to stop him.
"Eddie," she said and turned to Wayne. "He's my friend. . .for now."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Eddie asked. "Wait, how long were you going to let me go on for?"
"Until it stopped being funny, but that would have gone on forever," Chrissy said and Wayne snorted.
"I like her," Wayne said.
"It's hard not to," Eddie said, rolling his eyes.
"I brought by some food for Eddie, but it seems like there's proper food in there," Wayne said.
"Oh, Eddie made vegetable soup," Chrissy said proudly.
"Eddie cooked?" Wayne asked.
"I had a good instructor," Eddie replied.
"It's really good. You're welcome to have some," Chrissy said. "Maybe you can tell me all about baby Eddie."
"That sounds like a good plan, darlin'," Wayne said.
"No, no, nope! No way!" Eddie said, shaking his head.
"Don't be such a bad host, Eddie," Chrissy mockingly scolded him and Wayne laughed.
"I should tell you about the time I caught him hiding comic books in the freezer," Wayne said as he escorted her to the kitchen.
Eddie begrudgingly followed them to the kitchen and plopped down next to Chrissy after she fixed Wayne a bowl. She could feel Eddie's eyes on hers as Wayne talked about him. She could feel him trying to figure her out, and Chrissy's grin widened, wishing him all the luck in the world. Oh, she forgot to show him her sketchbook. Oh, well, plenty of time for that later.
