Remember in BV in Malta. The first few days, JK was agitated, always on his phone. He was first paired with Jimin, and wasn’t in the mood to go around anymore. Probably because of the heat. Jm wanted to watch the firing of the canons, but JK said they should just go home and that they could just watch videos online. Then when Tae came, he got a bit calmer. He and Tae were paired to explore the city, and he was so patient, and even asked Tae if he wanted to stop for awhile and explore the place.

Then toward the end, they all had an interview and JK was like, “Where is the one?” He was so used to them being 7. But then when Yoongi went home, he didn’t feel that void (basing on his statement where he mentioned about only at the beginning of the trip when Tae was still not there).

Maybe this is what he felt during this jkk travel show. Maybe that’s also why Tae flew to Jeju to join them (maybe I’m just reaching 😀)

Point is, Tae will always be JK’s comfort person. You can see that in the airports, awards shows where BH cameras are not everywhere. People who have worked for them have also recounted how JK would always stick with Tae. Apart from he missed the members, he was actually looking for that “one” to fill that void. 😜

I think you could be onto something though. JK definitely feels his absence.

Another thought: This was late September right? They're very slightly over two months until enlistment. I do kind of think maybe the latter half of the year would have felt a bit like a countdown, especially Golden promo to do as well. It wouldn't surprise me if they took the opportunity to spend as much time together as possible.

Put it this way: I don't think the company are inviting Tae on their fanfic trip so I'd assume the invite came from elsewhere.

If he's not in the show, then we know that invite was because someone wanted him around for off-camera times.

And if he is in the show? I'm going to stake a crisp twenty pounds that it will be presented as Jimin inviting him.

So true about clark. And he probably wouldn’t have turned out that way had he gotten any kind of help. In the promo for bvs it also says he became ceo at 16 so he lived with his abusive father until he killed him at 16 which is pretty damn sad.

Poor Lex :( I know a lot of people don’t like the typical Lex Luthor character (understandable) but the BVS version just seems to sad? Like yeah he shouldn’t be anywhere near a computer but. Dude is clearly really messed up and not handling his grief well :(

To your last anon, I always thought that hybe would have loved to monetize on tk's huge clout together if that didn't posit a risk( they are a corporation it's all about clout and money) i know people think differently as in them being shown together wouldn't have been risky but if they were the official company ship the ppl who like them as a couple would have been the triple than they are now, that means more people paying attention to them in that context, more ppl who wants to find something more, just like jikookers do, the difference? Jikookers won't find anything ever bc there's nothing to find, they are friends and bandmates, so them being the official company ship is as safe as it can be, tk's case is not the same.

Now it's funny bc the moment the tae//nnie bs started I told my friend that we probably could except a bit more of tk content coming from the company and I wasn't disappointed lmao, this is my view: thanks to that rouse Tae is seen by the world as a straight man who was/is (many locals dont even know about the break up news)in a relationship with a female idol and that also takes off legitimacy from the ppl who noticed stuff about him and his bandmate, it's just shippers delusions, even many ppl who suspected tk left the wagon after that.

So yeah I think hybe can afford to slightly show them more and monetize (and that also includes aiming to not lose much of the many different demographics that "consume" the BTS members during their absence and shippers are part of the this) that compared to before and still in a very controlled way, there is a bit of a risk mitigation with this companies' pushed rumor which is of course still not enough and hence the still controlled bc the risk is still present and as you said we have to take into account tk themselves, their priority is protecting what's important to them too, if you see the most content from the company we have seen of them together lately is just them being close (which they always were);and supporting each other, nothing super big or elaborated, not them putting on a show or being put on a show or anything, the only reason is noteworthy and has jikookers crying is bc years ago even that was something that wasn't shown (eg burn the stage etc).

I have a lot more opinions on the company's way of moving but I'm keeping it short 🫶

There are so many interesting layers to the way the company deals with Taekook, and to how the fandom perceives and feels about them. Where a lot of Taekookers think they've been too extreme in underselling or undermining their bond in official content, I don't think it's been quite as bad as most do. They still get featured quite a bit, I mean BV and In the Soop have shown us some classic Taekook moments. And they did start out capitalizing on that, the Bon Voyage cuddle was teased in promo images and then eventually included in bonus content. That moment making it into official content still blows my mind. I think it's a pretty intimate moment, I've gone over the clip so many times and believe there are kisses exchanged. It's wild. But 2016 is where the most noticeable shift happened. At the same time, I have also felt they do a little too much at times with the editing and it results in some weirdness, and that because heteronormativity covers for _a lot_ they could probably get away with showing more. That bias is so strong and engrained in everyone. But you make a great point about there being an added inherent risk for something that would need to be hidden, even if it's something most people would brush off. Like I've said before, I'm not a fan of the company for many reasons but if what they're doing is what they actually think is the best way of protecting them it's easily understandable. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, sorry it took so long for me to get to answering this.

What is up with the sudden interest in Ben Affleck/Matt Damon RPF? For weeks now I'll randomly get notes on posts from my 2016 BvS era that I barely remember making.

Did they go viral on TikTok? The only other time something like this happened it was for a post I made about a minor historical figure that randomly got a bunch of notes when a tiktok about their life blew up. Did Gen Z discover Good Will Hunting?

And where was this energy in 2016 when Affleck and Henry Cavill spent the entire BvS promo tour talking about how they were fucking each other but y'all were too busy salivating over the MCU to appreciate it?

Okay I know I said that the possibility that Gojo coming back alive is unlikely and it's just Sukuna hallucinating him, but what if he did come back? And if so, how did it happen?

I'm gonna try my best to give an explanation but don't take this too seriously.

One possibility I can think of is that Gojo made a binding vow with himself to come back to life in exchange for giving up one of his eyes, meaning he wouldn't be able to use his Six Eyes anymore.

Six Eyes gives Gojo the ability to precisely see the flow of cursed energy and cursed techniques, and enhances the use of the Limitless technique. But leaving the Six Eyes uncovered for too long will exhaust the user (in this case, Gojo), so that's why he keeps his eyes covered most of the time, and only reveals them when he activates his technique or domain.

Binding bows are associated with the imagery of chains, as we can see in season 1 when Sukuna is making a binding vow with Yuji.

The music video for the song Avant by Eve has JJK imagery and references since it was used as a promo video for something I don't remember. Anyway, in one scene, there are a pair of intense, soul-piercing eyes that we (the audience) have come to associate with Gojo.

The beginning of this scene shows "Gojo's eyes" with chains above them, the same imagery used in a binding vow.

In the next shot, one of the eyes is blacked out.

So, if we go with the idea that these are Gojo's eyes, and the chains indicate a binding vow, then that could mean Gojo made a binding vow with himself to give up one of his eyes in exchange for his revival, but rendering the Six Eyes useless, which in turn makes the Limitless technique useless.

If Gojo was able to learn and use RCT when Toji killed him and brought himself back to life, then there's a slight possibility he could have done something similar when he fight against Sukuna.

But because he was focusing on healing himself with RCT, which he used at maximum CE output, maybe he knew that he wouldn't have enough CE left to recover his CT so he imposed that BV on himself in case he got killed.

I'm not gonna take credit for deciphering the images in the music video. I saw someone tweet that months ago when this video was released but I can't remember who it was. All I've done here it try to tie it back to the possible Gojo comeback from the recent chapter 260.

This is a really big stretch but I just wanted to provide a possible explanation for Gojo coming back alive.

it’s likely that it will be announced once suchwita is ending, which god knows when that is bc the man left in sept and there’s still episodes coming out every week. you’d think he was shooting them every day atp. run bts had the weekly tuesday nights slot and then suchwita took over after run bts started airing once a month. i 100% see the travel show being behind a paywall, likely wv, and they’ll stretch the eps as long as they can so it could be 10 weeks or so of content. i think it’ll be cute tbh this is gonna sound terrible but jk is so much more likeable when he’s with jimin 🥶 and jimin is extra goofy and cute when he’s with him and tends to take the lead. i’m honestly excited to see anything jimin was up to during last year since he was super quiet after face era.

i also wouldn’t be surprised if it coincides with pjm2 release (which will be interesting to see how that goes over w folks lmao). it would fall in line with their pattern of lumping things together bc anything that makes armys sad equals a $$$ opportunity for hybe.

Not terrible, cause I agree, lol. Said the same thing with a previous ask I got a while back about jimin bringing out his more 2018/2019 *endearing* qualities. and 2018/2019 compared to post 2019 (since I became an army in 2018) was peak for him personality wise to me.

Suchwita got old fast though. Probably watched two episodes and put it down cause it really just comes of as one giant ego stroke from what I’ve seen. I didn’t think it was gonna last this long either so something new would be a really good change. wouldn’t mind it being the travel show (which I feel will be behind a paywall just like ITS and BV was. would be shocked if it wasn’t) because at least I’d get new jimin content, but I’d much prefer if it was something specifically just about jimin too.

I don’t think the travel show is gonna be that long. I’m thinking around 6-7 EPS if they’re 30 minutes 5 if it’s and hour. It could be, longer but I’m just going off the other travel shows we’ve gotten. I wouldn’t want it to coincide with pjm2 because the promo should just be centered on jimin. It would just be another instance of him having to share his release time with other members and I don’t need a repeat of that.

Loool I never realized it was such a hot take not watching non-jimin centric bts content, what's with the fake outrage? I think I barely even watched ot7 content at the beginning when I started getting into them and it was the pandemic and I was bored as hell. I don't really care about RUN BTS or ITS or BV I watched some of the episodes and then they started to become repetitive to me so I just resorted to watching clips on twitter which honestly that's what most people do anyways?????

The pandemic was also the time I stopped watching things like run. Long story short, it all started after Jungkook and Mijoo actually lmao but well yeah, I was uncomfortable looking at Jungkook and jikook because of everything that had happened. That's why I didn't watch bon voyage New Zealand.

On side of that, I knew 2020 was going to be their last year active as a group so I made the conscious decision to slowly step away so I wouldn't be so devastated when they left.

Then boom. Covid. Literally nothing mattered anymore to me once lockdown was in place here. I moved back with my parents and my sister, I baked and studied all day, I read a lot. Folklore by Taylor healed me in ways I didn't know I needed to heal. For months I barely thought about BTS or consumed their content. I just got used to not watching BTS content, and so I stopped and when I tried to watch again during dynamite promo, I found their content to be boring and repetitive and the narratives trying to be sold (happy bros ot7 can't live without each other Ingalls family stuff) were so glaringly obvious and it was off-putting. Don't even get me started on taekook themselves trying to tell everyone how inseparable they were. Also everyone (Jungkook Taehyung Yoongi) were so annoying, and Jimin was different too. It just wasn't hitting the same.

Holivia was already a stunt which crossed many lines which past H’s stunt hadn’t crossed and it was a huge shitstorm painful to watch but unfortunately I have a feeling that this stunt won’t be less painful to watch. Remember that “famous” RS article which basically turned into DWD promo, H was accused from queerbaiting and what I found only recently media tried to force him to come out. OW already included herself into H’s Vogue article which came out even before the stunt went official and so - and now it’s basically confirmed when H was yesterday spotted not only with TR but also H.Lambert and that woman from BV - now we’re probably get very organic lovers photoshoot pushing their made up love story…which is another level because H never did a photoshoot with their fake gf.
