I want to reiterate that I greatly enjoyed the anime but were absolutely robbed of David becoming a construct for a handful of reasons, most of which boiling down to:

David and Johnny vibing in Mikoshi together for a year so they could bond over the fact that they both assaulted Arasaka Tower in an attempt to save their netrunner girlfriends and got absolutely wrecked by Adam Smasher for their troubles.

David meeting V at some point after the Temperance ending and being utterly flabbergasted that they managed to take down Smasher with significantly less cyberware than he was packing and made it look like a walk in the goddang park.

crazy to me that the only reason Machiavelli is deemed as this genius supervillain who tried to end the way of the world is because christians had piss poor reading comprehension and were scared of anything remotely immoral but now hundreds of years later we're in the exact political system Machiavelli described, only on steroids, and christians defend it to the death because the alternative is apparently immoral
