It's been a long time since I've felt comfortable RolePlaying in anything other than serious long term 1x1, but have found myself cycling back to old habits.

I am looking for other adult roleplayers simply interested in having fun and collaborating with other writers like the good old forum days. I haven't quite decided on if I want to play with wolves or dogs, and if I want them to have powers or not, and am leaving that question up to general consensus. This would take place in a Discord server with a cap around 10 people at most.

ACHERON FAQ!

We understand that if you're new to roleplay or haven't done it for a while, you're bound to have questions! See some of our most frequently asked questions here. And remember, you can always send in an ask!

Q - Do I need to have English as a first language? No! We do require writers to be literate, and by that I mean capable of writing a small paragraph (around 6-8 sentences at least). But we don't require you to speak English natively. It might actually be an opportunity to improve your written English if you're feeling a bit rusty.

Q - Are you accepting of LGBTQ+ people and characters?

Absolutely! We have a strict no-tolerance rule against all kinds of discrimination. Characters can be of any orientation as well, although please note that across the board we do not allow sexual roleplay or writing, in PMs or publicly.

Q - What do I need to do to get started?

Simply get the Discord link and enter the server! Then if you're not from one of our Affiliated Servers (who are also all epic!) you will be asked to submit a writing sample. This need not be long! Introduce yourself and you're good to go! We have pre-made characters you can adopt as your own, and also a character form template so you don't need to worry about formatting.

Q: Do I have to pay?

Absolutely not! ACHERON is free. We will never ask you for any money. The Discord server is made and fuelled out of love!<3 And young souls floating down the Styx, obviously. And first-born children.

Q: You're 16+ but what are your content warnings?

We don't accept gratuitous gore, and no sexual content. We do however deal with more serious themes. Q: How many characters can I have?

You can have 4 for free! Then we have a site currency which is earned by participation that you can redeem for more character slots. If you have more questions, we have a full FAQ on our server!

The Newcomers - The ones that know what is happening outside of the facility. they often operate in secrecy and try to avoid consequences if discovered.

i just started new meds and have almost thrown up like 3 times. kept getting distracted from actual important stuff, couldn't make any progress, so i gave up and spat these out instead

DogQuest! it's a currently very simple texture mod/themed "presets" for WolfQuest 2.5/legacy version. i won't be releasing it until i write a useful README for it, but i do plan on sharing and (likely) updating occasionally to improve pre-existing textures as well as expand out into new ones. it'll probably be really easy to port into 2.7 as well. then you'd be able to run around as a doggy in an abandoned city (which you know you want to do!)

Head Canons for Rui Quinn Beaumont

1. Rui has seizures caused by brain damage.

2. The left side of his brain is effected, altering his speech after a seizure. The right side of his brain is effected as well. Altering his attention, memory, problem solving skills, and reasoning.

3. Rui is the only ghoul to take on an animalistic form. Ghouls usually take on a human form in order to better blend in with the world around them.

4. Rui was turned ghoul after four organ transplants. The forth and final one finally taking.

5. Rui isn’t a typical ghoul. His body does not possess the regenerative healing capabilities as other ghouls.

6. Like regular ghouls, Rui has to sustain himself by eating human flesh. Eating is a traumatic process for him.

7. Ghouls can go a month in between meals. However, due to his unease around food Rui will push himself to go two or three months without a meal. Driving him to be very unpredictable and unpleasant to be around.

8. Rui does rely on medication for his seizures, general mood stability, anxiety, and chronic pain.

9: Rui’s canine form is mix between a Grey Wolf and Australian Shepherd. A unique being that is more bite than bark.

10: being both canine and ghoul, Rui has a unique advantage when it comes to hunting.
