Sure, why not! 😊 This will probably take me a while and I’ll keep digging it out of my drafts, but here goes! (This took forever!! lol)
I went to a Catholic kindergarten, a Protestant elementary school (2 years), a Baptist elementary and high school (8 1/2 years), and then graduated from a Catholic high school.
I have two younger brothers (one is an IxFP and not sure about the other). I share the same father with one.
I’m an INFP, HSP, 4w5. Basically, I’m a feely introvert.
My parents were teenagers when they had me.
My eyes are green-blue.
I had a foster brother for a year.
When I was 8, my house caught fire. I used to have nightmares about my library books, Christmas tree and presents burning in the flames.
I am allergic to bananas.
I learned how to play the flute.
I once sang “Part of this world” from the Little Mermaid in front of a class. I drew a large piece of art to go with it.
I collect dolls and take their pics. I have a doll gallery. It’s on Instagram.
I can’t swim, but I’m not exactly afraid of water. As long as it doesn’t go over my head.
I do have an odd fear of bridges with metal beams over their tops. If I see one, I break out into a sweat and get the terror. I don’t know why that happens and not with ordinary bridges.
I love to listen to ambience videos on YouTube. The ones where there is a fireplace crackling while it rains outside. Or the sounds of pages turning or wind blowing. They help me focus while I work. I even started making some of my own! Dragonfly Mage YouTube channel
I am good with a camera. My favorite is the Canon PowerShot.
One of my favorite ice cream flavors is Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk!
I currently have 2 cats and 2 budgies.
My anime favorites are Card Captor Sakura, Fruits Basket, Black Butler (1st season), and most of Studio Ghibli.
I spend my internet time on Netflix, Pinterest, LOTRO, YouTube, Flight Rising, and Quora.
My kindred animal is a dragonfly.
I write fanfiction. My latest uploaded work takes place in the Abhorsen Old Kingdom universe.
I have a TON of google docs where I write all my story ideas and story drafts.
I’ve played nearly every version of SIMS. I am a bit of a SIMS fanatic. lol
I have never had a driver’s license. Think what you want. 😋
I was married once and divorced once.
My father and my uncle owned a cab company, so I grew up around car-repair garages.
I ate a box of Ex-Lax when I was 3 and got extremely ill. I couldn’t touch chocolate until my teen years. And even then it needed crispies or nuts in it. Now I’m able to eat plain chocolate and love it. But it sure took a long time.
I was one of those kids that believed something creepy lived in my closet when evening arrived.
I love pickles, but not on my cheeseburgers.
My father’s aunt and uncle had a cottage on the lake that I went to every summer when I was a kid.
I was forced to redo grade 5 (age 10) because the teachers thought I was too immature and small for my age. Even though I had good grades. 😥
The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favorite. I will watch all three in the extended version at least once a year.
I make homemade stuffing for Thanksgiving.
My favorite season is winter. Autumn is a close second.
When I was young I got paddled several different times by my pastor for getting too many demerits in class. He used a ping-pong paddle. 😟 I usually got demerits for not bringing gym clothes. I hated gym class!
I put together an INFP music mega playlist and an INFP Chill mega playlist on YouTube. And INFP mega playlist on Spotify. They have a bunch of my favorite music and videos.
The current MMO I play is Lord of the Rings Online. I used to play several others but this is the last to survive as my favorite.
I’m a sci-fi geek. My faves are Star Wars (originals), Star Trek (TNG, Voyager, DS9, Picard), and Babylon 5.
I’m tired of living within a plutocratic, oligarch-based society.
I grew up near train tracks and became accustomed to hearing the whistle sounding in the middle of the night.
I like to make music playlists for my favorite books and for the stories I’m writing.
I never watch and rarely read the news.
I love the sound of onions cooking in an iron skillet. Food sizzling is one of my favorites!
Tea is my beverage of choice. Oh, and Mountain Dew. haha
When I was young I wanted to be an astronaut, but everyone around me said it was impossible because I wore glasses.
If I can’t understand the song lyrics I hear I’ll make up my own.
The Chalion and Penric stories by Lois McMaster Bujold are some of my favorites!
I used to take part in star parties.
My favorite flavor of “coffee” is Celestial Lattes Dirty Chai.
I love cats. I will always try to have at least one cat in my life. 💗
Thanks for the question. 😊

I wonder just how many people, while touring the Rocky Mountain Elk Range, manage to completely miss out on the rather dazzling array of quality attractions that lay but a stone’s throw from Highway 133?
⇐⇐⇐ sharp left at the brightly colored and original sign.
With the equally historic and unique town of Marble just up the road, with its myriad of outdoor activities and delicious food of its own, I can identify with the urge to simply press on and get on with the magnificent day ahead. But in my opinion, that would be a mistake. Ten, fifteen minutes, half-an-hour or more, you won’t miss it in the scheme of things, but Redstone will repay your attention with fond memories for years to come. It is just that sort of place.
First indication that something is different about Redstone comes by way of a series of early 20th century abandoned, and now in the process of being restored, industrial coke ovens.
It may be a short trip across that little bridge, but my, what a delightful surprise exists just yards or so on the other side. It really is another world, and by far one of the nicest little alpine towns anywhere, in my experience.
Not only are the various businesses genuinely interesting and original, each of the historic building in which they are housed are lovingly maintained and cared for, as evidenced by their uniform neat and tidy appearance.
Inside, these bustling businesses certainly don’t disappoint. Each brings a vision and passion unique to their owners, and each one bristles with life.
There is even a tiny museum right alongside a beautiful little park – perfect ice cream scarfing venue – a foot bridge from which connects to the coke ovens.
The Aspen Marble Detour allows for a 45 minute visit from 11:00 am, but of course, with the wealth of accommodation offered by this remarkable village, as featured in my previous post, Castle to Cabin, Accommodations in Redstone Colorado, many a Detourist may at this point opt to overnight a day or two here, and thus enjoy perhaps a tour of the castle, a long thrilling hike in the mountains, a spot of fishing, a dip in the pool, and a romantic meal or two at the historic inn.

REDSTONE ART GALLERY
173 Redstone Blvd. 970-963-3790 redstoneart.com
“The Redstone Art Gallery has curated one of the finest collections of artists in many media. We represent a wide range of Colorado and other artists who exhibit passion for design and quality.
Michael and Stephanie Askew purchased the Redstone Art Center in 2012. As artists and collectors, both wanted to continue working with fine artists in a unique location, and create an environment conducive to workshops, field trips, and special events celebrating art and music.”
“Stephanie is the Creative Director of the gallery, and is a fine painter in both watercolor and oils, as well as an accomplished photographer. Her eye for quality and design in other works of art will add to the already outstanding collection of artists’ work in the Redstone Art Center. She will be leading workshops, events, and the ongoing selection of original art to continue the legacy of the center over the years.
Michael is both a photographer and wood worker, specializing in large format black and white photography, and various fine woodworking projects, including segmented turning, furniture, and pens. His award winning black and white photographs from numerous shows and exhibits are in private and corporate collections from Australia, the US, and Europe. The American Airlines Admirals’ Club purchased 11 of Michael’s photographs, which are on display in the San Diego Airport.”
“Come visit with Michael and Stephanie in the gallery as they carry on the tradition of collecting fine art of all media, and continue to support numerous workshops, demonstrations, field trips, and other events in support of the community of Redstone and the surrounding area artists.
Michael and Stephanie Askew invite you into their gallery and sculpture garden exhibiting sculpture, fine photography, local art, elegant jewelry, and hand crafted ceramics with artist demonstrations and workshops. Open daily during the summer.”

Tiffany of Redstone
Antiques, Home & Garden, Used, Vintage & Consignment. Established in 1998
“Offering rustic furniture, architectural artifacts, vintage clothing, authentic industrial & steampunk items and good old rusty metal. We also have a vast offering of unique relics and salvaged material just waiting for your spark of repurposing creativity. An unexpected experience!
Repurposing is all about connecting with your home surroundings. Mass produced furnishings have no soul, substance or story. On the other end of the spectrum the antiques and art world has a reputation for being lofty and pretentious, an image that has run aground with today’s consumers.”

“As more people yearn to do new, unexpected and creative things with vintage items – choosing possessions that have a backstory and making them their own, P2R – picking2repurpose was born. “People love a story,” says Craig Stifter ~ P2R Founder. “They like to know the story of an item, it’s soul, it’s substance.
“What the heck is Craig Stifter up to at P2R – picking2repurpose?” That seems to be the question circulating the Crystal Valley in Colorado lately. To get a better handle on this conundrum we’ll need to set the Wayback Machine to the 1970’s…”
“So how did it all start? Where did Craig’s passion for picking old stuff come from? “I ‘blame’ it all on my parents!” Stifter says. Growing up in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago in the 1970’s like most little boys Craig was playing pond hockey, motor biking and building forts. But he was also tagging along with his dad, Bob Stifter, on picks ranging from the infamous Maxwell Street Market to the enormous M&R Double Drive-In Flea Market and in between all the usual junk jaunts – estate sales, garage sales, alley dumpster diving and doing what his dad referred to as “checking the traps” aka hitting his favorite junk stops. “Criss-crossing Chicago in my Dad’s old pick up truck full of junk, people would comically yell out ‘Hey Sanford and Son!”
