Isaac/Isabel: If they had a camera, they'd take a snapshot of this very scene to commemorate the moment for eternity, something they could forever hold close to their heart. With bright eyes, and an even brighter smile, they touch your arm. "That's delightful news, MC," they beam, warmth spreading throughout their entire body. "I think this is definitely something you should bring to their attention." Sniffing, their nose wrinkles at the heavy smell of alcohol in the air. "A discussion that you should have when you're not as inebriated. Until then? Why don't we find someplace for you to wind down, okay?"

Carson/Cara: "No." The word was as final as it was sharp. Dark blue eyes reminiscent of storm clouds as they stare at you, arms crossed over their chest. They didn't wish to hear your secret, didn't wish to pull any information from you when you were barely cognizant of what you were doing. Especially if it had anything to do with them. "We need to get you a glass of water, some Advil, and then a bed, before you start spilling your guts all over the place." They shake their head, gently taking you by the arm to guide you from the room. "We have a contract after all, MC. It wouldn't do to break it now." And, despite everything, they have to ignore the sting of disappointment, of want, at what could have been if they had simply let you speak.

Daerhovan was always a restless soul from the day he was born it seemed. Desiring to find new lands and discover what secrets they hold. He has an almost ravenous yearning for knowledge, a trait that got him into trouble in his youth, and shaped him well into his adult years and onward. His favorite subjects are those pertaining to the natural world, but he’ll dabble in the histories of the free peoples on occasion. It can be said he never learns some things however, as Daerhovan gets rather impulsive, which has led to dangerous situations. He calls it thinking on his feet.

In social situations he can come across as aloof and even cold. With so few children to grow up alongside with and living in self isolation for centuries while he studied; conversation can be awkward with him. Getting him to talk about a subject he knows or likes can make him a little more involved and even lively. He does crave interaction at times, but doesn’t know how to go about it often. Small-talk is his bane. Jokes have a tendency to go over his head. 

While he’s happier than most of his elven peers during the years they’re still around it seems, he s subject to existential crisis’s every now and then, especially as he ages. Can be very melancholic during episodes as he thinks about the eventual fate of all temporal beings and his place in the big picture. 

He’s normally a calm sort when it comes to disagreements and can keep a level head most of the time. Hurting anyone or thing he loves or considers his own however, can incite a violence within him that can scare both the antagonist and the person who was wronged. 

- Has a long scar from his left pectoral to his navel from a maddened huorn that never fully heals. Though it becomes a white line that can be hard to distinguish in his older years.

- Used to be a very competent healer, but because of his much needed efforts to fight in the War of the Ring, has lost most of his ability to heal by elvish means. Can still do basic procedures, but the magic associated with elves who are true healers has gone.

- While not as in tune with the elements as he is with flora and fauna, has some influence over them. As little may be thought. Can beseech trees for help in battle to stir the earth. If purified by elvish means, can use water to more proficiently heal wounds and encourage plant growth. Senses that something could be done with fire, lightning, and air, but will need to study further on it.

Happy Birthday Scottish actor Richard Madden born June 18th 1986 in Elderslie.

Richard was raised by his mother, Pat, a classroom assistant and his father, Richard, who worked for the fire service. He also has two sisters, Cara and Lauren.

His parents were “hippies”, he says, and their house was pretty open, with friends always piling in for big vegetarian meals. Madden spent a lot of time outside, in the woods behind their house. He has several injuries: he shows me where he shot his dad’s old air pistol and blew off part of his finger, then managed to wreck the same finger when he nailed a wooden plank to his skateboard, then crashed it, so apart from the Hippie parents it was much like most of our own days as bairns.

We last saw Richard in the movie,  Eternals, which was okay, but nothing great, he is one of several actors being touted as the next James Bond,

James is currently in the Amazon Prime series Citadel, I've watched the first three episodes and am not really impressed with it,I think he does pull of the American accent well, but I noticed there have been people saying he doesn't pull it off, Madden revealed he spoke in the accent for two years straight to prepare for the series. The show has been earmarked for a second series. Richard is set to appear in the feature film Killer Heat next.

In July 2019, Madden received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. When asked about his personal life during a New York Times interview following speculation about his relationships and sexuality, Madden stated: “I just keep my personal life personal.”

Werewolves Made of Woe (WIP) - Prologue

A/N: Just the short prologue of the horror/comedy future-fic one shot I'm writing for Wenclair about when their twins were born :D It'll be posted in ao3 when finished, but I thought I'll just share what I got so far...

Beauty, her name was Enid Sinclair.

Her moon-touched goddess. The love of her life. Her queen of the wilds, curled around two new-born babes in the near crack of dawn like a feral woman. An arm held the two lumps of writhing flesh, purple and red and wonderful like they were the most precious beings on earth. Hands curled into careful claws ready to disembowel anything that came too close, even in sleep; hair and skin covered in mud and sweat and blood and remnants of the black forest. Her wife was as beautiful as the day they conceived, making love in the daemonic five-point star pentagram in the behest of the black goat of the woods, bathed under the romantic light of a hundred black candles.

Wednesday walked towards the grotesque pile of bodies that was her family, sharing bare skinship in this frigid morning like base beasts, and felt something akin to longing. 

If only she could join them.

Her black eyes searched and thirsted for more detail to remember, burning like two pyres in the middle of an endless void, round and wide like Charon's coins. And she knew she would pay to witness this sight again upon the cusp of her death, instead of trading with the ferryman to ride the gloomy boat down the river Styx, Tartarus be damned --

What bliss. What maddening illumination!

That she was now mother to two terrible werewolf pups.

Wednesday kneeled down on one knee, bunching the folds of her dress, boots squelching in a puddle of blood mixed with morning dew. She risked it -- as always with the case with her bestial wife -- and reached out to caress the back of her fingers against a pink sullied cheek.

A groan, and a dull growl answered her act of disgusting tenderness.

And before she could stop herself, Wednesday heard herself whisper with a near longing in a voice she could barely recognize...

Não são muitas as lembranças que eu tenho de 2006. A maioria delas são como as da sua infância: complementadas por fotos que você viu ou por histórias que outras pessoas te contaram sobre sua vida. Na verdade, tentei pesquisar no Google “my chemical romance 2006” para me preparar e escrever sobre algumas coisas que aconteceram naquela época.

Meu navegador preencheu automaticamente a pesquisa para “calendário my chemical romance 2006” e pensei: “Ah, isso é realmente muito útil, vou poder ver onde estava naquele ano”, e fui pesquisar. Os resultados foram centenas de digitalizações de um calendário muito brilhante que a banda vendia como merch na época. E, estranhamente, meio que fez sentido.

Em 2006, eu lembro de ter pensado que, de fato, eu era louco. Por isso, fui consultar um médico, mas ele me medicou tanto que acabei perdendo dias e semanas inteiras para o éter. Antidepressivos, ansiolíticos, bares e apagões. Me lembro de sentir como se trabalhássemos para uma grande empresa, mas não me lembro se alguma vez cheguei a conhecer o chefe. Se a Wikipedia estiver correta, o My Chem lançou nosso documentário/álbum ao vivo, Life on the Murder Scene, em março, e nosso terceiro disco, The Black Parade, em outubro do mesmo ano. Cara, existe uma disparidade impressionante entre esses dois lançamentos... Caramba, existe uma diferença muito grande entre essas duas bandas. Foi praticamente a nossa curva de aprendizado.

Não sei se amadureci tanto quanto deveria, ou poderia, durante esses seis ou sete meses. Talvez eu não tenha amadurecido tanto quanto os outros, mas definitivamente não amadureci o suficiente para lidar com o que estava prestes a acontecer. Eu me sentia a maior parte do tempo... Eu me sentia estranho e desesperadamente deslocado. Quase não víamos nossos amigos, não víamos quase ninguém além do nosso público... e ninguém era visto fora das paredes de concreto de uma estrutura de estacionamento subterrâneo de uma arena. Estávamos todos nos aproximando rapidamente daquele momento da vida em que entes queridos mais velhos começam a falecer, e as pessoas que você deixou em casa há alguns anos estão ficando cansadas de sua ausência, e presumem que você merece ser rebaixado sempre que necessário. Talvez isso seja uma reação natural, ou um mecanismo de defesa, mas esse tipo de coisa faz com que você recue ainda mais, e tudo isso fica cada vez mais difícil quando você não sabe a que lugar pertence, se é que você pertence a algum lugar. Então, você abaixa a cabeça, toma um comprimido e faz um show.

Fico ansioso quando as pessoas perguntam sobre a época do Black Parade. Não sei se a minha realidade era igual à de todo mundo. Muitas vezes eu me sentia como se estivesse no centro de um tornado... não que eu estivesse realmente rodopiando, mas existia uma força desconcertante que me cercava e imediatamente estava mudando a topografia do mundo de uma forma muito visceral e violenta, e eu não tinha como controlar isso. Eu não me sentia parte de nada além da “Parade”, e mesmo assim, eu provavelmente era mais um coadjuvante do que um participante. Talvez todos nós fôssemos. Agora, vendo a situação de uma perspectiva diferente, de fora, as coisas estavam dando certo! Então, você descobre que ninguém quer ouvir, nem falar que está infeliz quando parece que tudo está dando certo. Mas a época era diferente e tudo estava mudando mais rápido do que nunca. 

No final das contas, eu não mudaria nada se tivesse uma varinha mágica, pois tudo aquilo que aconteceu me levou para onde estou hoje. E, pela primeira vez na minha vida, acho que posso dizer que estou feliz, e realmente digo isso com toda a sinceridade.

  Eu amo tudo o que eu e meus amigos fizemos juntos, tudo... mesmo que não consiga me lembrar de tudo. Um dia, talvez eu sente e converse com alguém que possa desenterrar as coisas que perdi, ou enterrei em meu subconsciente, e volto para contar para vocês, mas esse dia não é hoje.

Parte de mim acha que é melhor deixar esse tipo de coisa para quando tudo acabar... e estou escrevendo isso em meu aplicativo de notas, no modo avião, enquanto voo para o próximo show. Keep the faith - Tenha fé.

Both crazily in love with each other until Gomez came along. Will she be with Madden? Or will she be forever be destined with Gomez Addams?

(There's no POV in this chapter just because I'm sorta setting a scene for the rest of the chapters. This is also going to be a short first chapter just to set the scene.<3)

"Wednesday darling, please, you'll love Nevermore Academy. Me and your father had an amazing time. That's where we met." Morticia grinned looking out her window of the car. Gomez rested his hand on her knee nodding in agreement.

"Yes cara mia, my little rainstorm will love Evermore. Lots of students just like you." He beamed ear to ear re-lighting his Cuban cigar. Wednesday sat across from them in the car, her face painted with the same unamused look. "I highly doubt that father. It is just another prison in my eyes."

"Please Wednesday. You have to understand no other school will take you." Morticia's face changed from lovely to concern. "It was our only choice. Grandmama cannot teach you and Puglesy anymore remember? The courts will not allow it."

"No mother. This has always been your choice. You have always wanted me to go to the exact school you sadly attended. You want me to be just like you." Wednesday protested sitting perfectly at a 90-degree angle not to disrupt her perfect posture.

"And why is that such a bad thing?" Morticia's brows furrowed her porcelain skin flexed. Her face relaxed as soon as Gomez cleared his throat blowing smoke rings from his lips.

"Please no arguing you two, you are beautiful the way you are Tish, and Wednesday can choose her own path. You know her. I can see the sign from here. Look!"

The car turned onto a gravel path to the front of the academy.

The whole Addams clan had an introduction to the school and many others. Wednesday was still unimpressed, her demeanour still remained the same when she met her new roommate Enid. A colourful ray of sunshine that made all of the Addams dry-heave.

"Welcome to Nevermore roomie! I'm Enid!" She came a half foot away to Wednesday prepared to hug her when she hesitated. "Not a hugger, I get that." Enid halted crossing her arms behind her back.

"I'm so sorry dear, Wednesday is allergic to colour." Morticia crossed her arms in disgust over the bright colours plastered on the oval window behind the two teens.

"W-what happens to you?" She giggled awkwardly.

"I break in hives and my skin peels from my flesh." Wednesday must have struck fear into this poor blonde. She backed away eyes glued to the door seeing a shadow in the hallway making its appearance.

"Oh my god, Maddie!! Welcome back!" Enid squealed out in a high tone, running around Wednesday and her family to the doorframe and seeing a short black-haired girl painted in heavy eyeliner crossing the hallway. She had more eyeliner than skin show. Everyone turned to the commotion. Morticia became paler than her normal complexion was accustomed to. She gasped touching her chest. Wednesday noticed the drastic change.

"I'm so sorry for yelling, I'm quite loud haha! Wednesday, this is my friend Maddie Creed. She lives across from our room." Enid ushered Maddie through the door frame. In the light, her blue eye deepened. All of the heavy jewelry on her face sparkled like diamonds across her face. She wore a fishnet shirt with green cargo pants and a platform army boot.

"C-C-Creed? Any relation to...Madden Creed?" Morticia hesitantly stuttered. Peering over at her husband's reaction. It was out of her character. Wednesday took it into consideration. Maddie ran her fingers through her short boyish hair grinning at her pearly whites. "Yeah, unfortunately. That's my aunt."

"Your aunt? I thought Mad never had siblings.." She paused as she whispered to herself, looking in Maddie's direction. "Sorry, your aunt and I were very close."

"It's fine. My grandma never told me she went to Nevermore. Frankly, I've never met her." Maddie took a few steps towards Morticia, she was clearly bigger than Maddie in stature. Even if Maddie was wearing platforms.

"Madden Creed? Hm...Oh yes, I remember her. A pretty young lady, but very clingy to you to Tish if I recall. Sweet friend" Gomez stroked his moustache thinking back to the days they were in these very walls.

"You weren't there for most of it Gomez. Your aunt Madden was a true and very close friend."

"Wow! I wish I knew her as much as you did Mrs. Addams." Maddie shrugged. "Do you know if she still has Onyx Carbon?" Morticia interrupted with intrigue. Gomez was wary of Maddie's answer. Wednesday was the same but wanted to explore more of her mother's past, but getting the information from the niece of the mysterious woman was more time-consuming than ever.

"Onyx...Carbon? Hm...I don't know," Maddie pondered looking up at Morticia. "Was it a pet or potion? I think my aunt was a witch too." Maddie wanted to give Wednesday's mother answers but was in a total ball field.

"Oh no sweetheart, Onyx Carbon was your aunt's motorcycle. She and I worked on it over the summer going into sophomore year. She was beautiful...beautiful bike I mean." She corrected herself feeling her husband's arm wrap around her waist. "Well it was almost 31 years ago, that bike must be long gone."

"Must be. How close were Madden Creed and you, mother? "Wednesday was suspicious, she crossed her arms tightly watching all of the eyes around the room.

"Very close my little title wave. Like two peas in a pod. Your mother and Madden were inseparable." Gomez boasted filling the room with his laughter. Morticia looked over at her husband with a blank expression. A thought was storming in her mind. Though she bit her tongue.

"You two should go now. You're cramping my style." Wednesday joked which was a shock to the whole room. "I can finish interrogating the witness at hand." Wednesday's shoes scooted over pointing directly at Maddie's shoes.

"Fine Cara mia. Let us leave Wednesday with her new friends."

"Very well mon cher. Take care darling, it was nice to meet you, Maddie." Both parents left to the door leading into the hallway.

"Tish! That was French! It sets my heart ablaze!" Gomez held Morticia's arm out peppering kisses on her wrist leading up to her shoulder.

"Not now my darling...I-I..have a lot on my mind." She pulled away pushing a side of her long jet-black hair.

"What is so heavy on your mind querida?" They both paced down the hall to the staircase. Morticia hesitated to tell her husband the truth. Her thoughts didn't bother her, but she knew it would bother her loving husband.

"Just thinking...about Mad, I didn't know if she was alive or dead. Never saw her after or heard. I think she's still mad at me." She bit her lip looking outward through the stain-glass windows in the lobby.

"Mad? Mad for what my love?" Gomez was shorter than his beautiful gothic wife. Though he made up for it with how big his heart was to her and their children.

"Mad I chose you. And not her..."

"Citadel"

‘Citadel’, la segunda serie más cara de Amazon Prime Video

Jen Salke, la jefa de Amazon Studios, quería crear su propio universo compartido… y la premisa de ‘Citadel’ nace de ahí.

¿Y quién mejor para poner orden en tu universo que los reyes de organizar diferentes personajes y películas? Sí, hablamos de los hermanos Russo, autores de las mejores películas de Marvel. Aunque fuera de la Casa de las Ideas no hayan tenido mucha suerte, ni hayan sabido dar con la tecla adecuada, su nombre sigue intacto, y desde Amazon lo saben. Los hermanos Russo siguen atrayendo al público, esperando que por fin creen esa gran saga que tanto se les está resistiendo. ¿Será ‘Citadel’ por fin? Bueno… sí y no. Pero esperamos que sí. Tenemos ganas de que sí.

 ‘Citadel’ será la serie principal, pero de esta se nutrirán varios spin-offs realizados en diferentes países. Por ejemplo, en Italia ya han terminado de rodar su propuesta, protagonizada por Matilda De Angelis. Y el spin-off de India va a comenzarlo, con Varun Dhawan y Samantha Ruth Prabhu como estrellas principales. Sabemos que habrá más, pero aún no se ha revelado en qué países. Eso sí, todos los proyectos estarán conectados a una biblia principal creada por David Weil, guionista y productor ejecutivo de la serie principal. Un plan ambicioso y revolucionario.

¿De qué va ‘Citadel’?

Hace 8 años de la caída de Citadel. La agencia mundial de espionaje independiente, encargada de velar por la seguridad de todos, fue destruida por agentes de Manticore, un poderoso sindicato que manipula el mundo desde las sombras. Tras la caída de Citadel, los agentes de élite Mason Kane (Richard Madden) y Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) intentan escapar con vida, pero pierden todos sus recuerdos. Desde entonces han permanecido ocultos, construyendo nuevas vidas con nuevas identidades, sin ser conscientes de su pasado. Hasta que una noche, Mason es localizado por su antiguo colega de Citadel, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), que necesita desesperadamente su ayuda para impedir que Manticore establezca un nuevo orden mundial.

‘Citadel’ empieza como un tiro, todo hay que decirlo. Una secuencia de acción que dura casi 15 minutos.

Este comienzo nos recuerda al mejor James Bond, o a las más recientes entregas de ‘Misión Imposible’. Incluso la trama nos recuerda a ello. Demasiado. Porque la idea de Citadel y Manticore se parece demasiado al FMI y al Sindicato. Una organización que trata de salvaguardar al mundo contra una que trata de dinamitarlo, de crear un nuevo orden mundial. Nada nuevo bajo el sol. Y sí, por supuesto que hay un topo. ¿Cómo no iba a haberlo? ‘Citadel’ no descubre nada nuevo, pero nos da precisamente todo lo que hemos venido a buscar.

Richard Madden y Priyanka Chopra Jonas son la pareja protagonista sobre la que se va a sostener la franquicia. Al menos, de momento. Y no estamos del todo seguros de si la elección ha sido o no la acertada. A ver, Richard Madden es guapo, el público le conoce, y tiene presencia. Pero hay algo que le falta. Primero, carisma. Busca darle primero un toque canalla a su personaje, y luego otro más humano. Y no acaba de clavar ninguno de los dos. Madden es un muy buen actor, pero quizá sea demasiado hierático, y eso lastra su interpretación. Sobre todo si quieres que el espectador le coja cariño.

Y, lamentablemente, a Priyanka Chopra Jonas le pasa algo parecido. Se la ve demasiado encorsetada, como si no supiera hacia dónde tirar. Es verdad que su personaje se presta a ello (recordemos que ha perdido la memoria tras el accidente de tren del primer episodio), pero no acaba de tener química con su compañero de serie. Y eso no es culpa suya. Simplemente, no funcionan como pareja. O no funcionan del todo.

Pero el que sí está estupendo, como siempre, vaya novedad, es Stanley Tucci. Es un actor que le puedes poner en cualquier película, que te la va a mejorar al instante. Da miedo, pero también da ternura. Da confianza, pero también sabemos que oculta algo. Es duro, pero a la vez tiene su corazón. Tucci es uno de los grandes secundarios del cine de los últimos años, y ya llega tarde su reconocimiento. Su Bernard Orlick es, de lejos, lo mejor de ‘Citadel’.

En estos tres primeros episodios (de un total de 6 que tendrá la primera temporada), nos encontramos todos los clichés posibles del cine de espías y de acción. Aunque hay veces que se notan las costuras y uno no se explica dónde han ido a parar esos 300 millones, las secuencias de acción por lo general están bien rodadas. Tanto las más espectaculares como las más contenidas.

 La serie no busca revolucionar el género, sino la manera de contar las cosas.
