1 - it's my post but I am not the artist, I'm just sharing the work here (with permission from the artist) Now that I'm more regularly posting art on tumblr from artists that aren't on here, I'm making it a habit to check with the artists first.

2 - Yes I am fully aware. From what I understand of tumblr's community guidelines, it is because the figures in the piece are nude. The post is not "flagged" or hidden or removed and I have no strikes against my account for it, at least as far as I can tell. This is different from the "community labels" which are for content that is allowed on tumblr but tumblr would like labeled as "mature", with the option to indicate from three categories: drug and alcohol addiction, violence, sexual themes. A bit of a misnomer on the last one, as it applies to nonsexual nudity as well. So, the post is allowed on tumblr, just with a small indicator. Is it annoying? Yes. Are the community guidelines and rules regarding this stuff easy to make sense of? Nope. I recently appealed the 'sexual themes' label on another piece by the same artist and the label was sustained. Seems to me that nudity in general will get the label.

I'm surprised that your whole blog was marked as adult simply for reblogging this one post. I've made no small amount of 'mature' posts and reblogged plenty as well and from what I can tell, my blog is not marked as adult. Even my horny blog has recently had the mature status removed, after YEARS of being a pixelated icon! I do not think that having the adult label on a blog will result in the blog being deleted, in all likelihood. Basically, you're perfectly fine and I would assume this is a fluke or something. Maybe worth asking support about.

I certainly think that these labels are confusing for users and that the information available from tumblr about it is unclear. I also think our subcultural use of the "nsft" tag isn't helping haha! Of course it's not a real problem and I've used it too. We just use it to tag things that very much ARE allowed on tumblr which is funny and probably isn't helping with our understanding of what the rules are for this website.

I know I certainly would appreciate some clarity on the rules, what is allowed and what isn't, what constitutes a community label and what doesn't, what happens to accounts and blogs that are marked as mature, etc. I know we all could use more and clearer communication from @staff or @support about this

Anyone else more knowledgeable about this topic care to weigh in?

im obsessed with stories that have a fixed ending before they even start. stories with narrators who are crying as they tell it because there is only one way this can end.

there is only one way this can go.

stories where the characters might know how it all ends and beg the audience to change it, knowing they can't. stories where the characters are unaware, but given the people they are and the situations they're in- well, what else are they supposed to do?

stories that are loops. that start with everyone dying and getting back up again to do it one more time.

because this time, maybe, it will be different.

i am sick to death of fourth wall breaks that are funny. i want fourth wall breaks that make me want to cry.

give me hamlet looking up during his monologue to see the audience and plead with them for help. give me orpheus, on the road back up from the underworld begging us to make sure eurydice is there, to tell him she is safe. give me orpheus turning when the audience stays silent.

I think it's important to remember that the irregular twins were inside of the black box rather than an actual Womb. while it may be presented As a pregnancy we don't necessarily have to assume that they were literally born from motc. that said, we do also know that ma had access to seth's laboratory, so if there's any explanation in the subtext of the novels it'd be that

speaking of not having respect for mob's parents, it still fucks me up how barren mob's room is compared to ritsu's. why is mob on a futon on the floor while ritsu is in an actual bed? ritsu has a desk, shelving, things up on his wall, and a Balcony while the only thing in mob's room that we can see besides his bed is a bookshelf and a window. like yeah, it's never brought up by the narrative or anything so we can assume it's not something that mob is upset about but, Whyst The Fuck

I never actually thought about that. We don’t see a lot of Mob’s room so there might be other furniture against the other walls.

I certainly don’t think Mob’s parents are negligent or abusive, so I assume Mob’s room is a little more bare for other reasons. My theory is a combination of “it represents his lack of hobbies and interests at the start of the series” and “he has more spartan and durable furniture than Ritsu due to many childhood bouts of Sleep Telekinesis.” 

This is also why he sleeps on a futon while Ritsu had a bed. Harder to accidentally hurt yourself or damage the room when the bed you’re unconsciously levitating in your sleep is soft.

I mean the real reason is probably that the background artists didn’t put much thought into it, but you know, if you want a rationale.
