I love these guys!
And Perfect Revenge is so annoyingly catchy it's growing on me, especially the chorus:
I don't get mad, I get even
Go find that perfect revenge
Go find that perfect (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Perfect revenge (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Go find that perfect (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Perfect revenge
Go find that perfect (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Perfect revenge (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Go find that perfect (Ah-ya-ah-ya)
Perfect revenge (Ah-ya-ah-ya)

quick rapid fire of my least favorite songs that are a band's most popular:
drunk drivers/killer whales by car seat headrest: BORING AS FUCK. i can appreciate songs with a slow tempo (i know so many people who dismiss any song below 130 bpm) but this one is just lame
smells like teen spirit by nirvana: curse of being first song on the band's breakout album. its potentially the weakest song on the entire album (MAYBE come as you are is worse?? idk) but it was the first track and catchy enough so it got popular
teenagers by my chemical romance: this is the entire reason mcr has the reputation it has in the mainstream, being that theyre angst edgy "emo" music for hot topic teens. a lot of their music is like that to be fair, but this one also just isnt that good
centuries by fall out boy: MY FUCKING GOD DOES THEIR POST-HIATUS STUFF SUCK. they only just recently got back to what i would imagine the natural progression of the band would be with "so much (for) stardust", which is probably my third fav album now. they took too long though. now centuries is what some people know FoB for. tragic.
pumped up kicks by foster the people: the rest of their discography is just way better. this got popular due to edgy concept i guess. + being catchy
***HIDDEN TRACK*** by prince daddy & the hyena: its just a pretty lame song. listen to their s/t album or cosmic thrill seekers just stop listening to this song and their first album exclusively
never meant by american football: i know its THE midwest emo song. i know this. i dont care its not nearly as good as half the other songs on LP1, and LP3 sweeps all of that album. its also just cursed by being the first song in the album, and i wish we lived in the world where "the summer ends" was the first track because then thatd be their most popular

Not gonna lie... this song is kinda corny to me... Do I also still bump it? Yes. Why? Because it's really fucking relatable and you can kinda tell by the sound and the lyrics this might be about a real situation Megan went through. It's just the vibe. Most of her stuff you can tell(and she has admitted in interviews) are second hand accounts. This has the same vibe as middle school poetry. In the best way possible because it's literally just raw emotion no clean up no editing lmfao.
Also the sample SLAPS.

Just fucking end my cringe ass now istg

at the end of the day sometimes ur man makes music that sounds like he should be a soundcloud musician or like he should be transported back in time of like 2012 because for some reason that’s when his brain absorbed all of his music information for himself personally and u have to accept that. that’s real love. THAT’S stand by your man.mp3. thank u.
