More on LQG is a tiger spirit and it's liujiu.

LQG doesn't have scent glands or anything but he will steal SJ's inner robes to sleep with so they smell like him when SJ wears them. SJ does not in fact wear them and had them washed again and is very irritated.

Once it's clear LQG is actually for real courting him, SJ bitingly tells him if he pisses on qjp to mark his territory or something, sj will kill him.

SJ graciously gives LQG a handkerchief that smells like him when LQG is leaving to kill big monsters and by graciously I mean SJ infuses it with qi and uses it as a throwing weapon.

SJ makes a huge angry scene every time LQG leaves some dead thing on his peak but he is wearing a noticeable amount of eye wateringly rare furs lately.

(side note: MBJ hears about this, don't ask how, and decides he needs to do one better for his hamster)

One day when SJ is bitching about YQY LQG pipes in that yeah it's really not fair that YQY was able to cultivate in the lingxi caves for a year at such a young age, especially when there was so much drama about him

And sj is like "Explain"

This leads to a partial reveal, which leads to LQG posturing in front of YQY to keep him away from his spouse and SJ getting annoyed at both of them and kicking LQG back to BZP for a week to think about what he's done.

here's how everything in my kitchen window is doing rn! i just sowed new seeds for a sweetie cherry tomato plant & two catnip plants, so in total, the plants in the kitchen window are:

2 lemon drop hot peppers 🍋🌶️

2 black cherry cherry tomatoes 🖤🍅

1 basil plant 🌿

1 basil water propagation 🌿

2 orange hat microdwarf cherry tomatoes (but that will turn into 5 since there's several in each container) 🧡🍅

1 ground cherry 🍅🌱

2 catnip plants 🐈🌻

1 sweetie cherry tomato 🍅🫰

Things are starting to pop off in the gobbo garden.

Except you know, after a week or so of positive temps and lots of rain, we got dunked on with like an inch an and a half of snow. 🙃 Which is like nothing for Canada, but it's made me worry that all this early growth is going to be ruined since it's stuck around for a couple days.

I mean, I'm not worried about the catnip at all, because that shit was already growing under the winter snow, but other stuff might be less hearty.

I'm particularly stressed about the peony plant that I finally relocated last year. I was genuinely so happy to see tiny little spikes popping up. I have no idea if this cold snap is going to hurt that, or even if the plant will bloom in this new spot, but I really hope it does.

Some of the haustas were already coming in too! Specifically the miniture haustas back by the raspberries, and the giant haustas by the catnip. The ones in the lily garden (also where the peony is now) didn't have any pokey bits yet, that I'd seen.

The day lilies are (unsurprisingly) already going ham.

I'd like to be able to make sure the poppies grow inside the dang cage this year, so I have to keep a close eye on them now too. (and get the weeds out of the mix.)

And last for this update, I learned that rhubarb looks like weird alien nonsense when it starts growing in. Steven said it looked like egg sacks, I said brains. 🤷‍♀️
