Our favorite handmaiden's sleep walking nightmare

The castle was quite and still. Everyone was sleeping peacefully sleeping, save for the night guards. It was just another night until someone was walking the halls... well running more like it. Seren was having the nightmare she normally has on occasion. This time however a system malfunctioned and she was up and moving, sleep walking.

Lord Heulwen! Lord Lleuad!

In her nightmare she is running through her old home. Desperate and panicked as she looked for her Lords, her dimension collapsing around her. She is running through Lord Hyades' castle screaming for her original Lords. Her eye lights are just rings indicating she isn't awake. She slips and slides around corners, jumping over and dodging things only she can see.

Please! Where are you! Heulwen! Lleuad!

She trips and stumbles crashing into a large decorative vase. She scrambles to get up and any guard that tries to stop her gets punched and something broken.

given that arknights chapter 14 has shown us the true full extent of the confessarius/theresis' sarkaz cloning experiments for dead sarkaz subraces with the chimeras, i think it makes my surtr backstory theory (tldr shes a diablo clone ala nightingale being a 'king of sarkaz' clone project) kind of. potentially hilarious? like still 100% possible in a serious context but consider:

nightingales escape needed shining to betray the whole confessarii conspiracy which was only possible in the first place because she was #2 in the organization and even then they only barely make it out with nearl picking them up at the tail end. comparatively surtr is just walking around without any idea who she is, with nothing but a feranmut sword she only picked up After the fact with her story in IS4 amounting to a sami priestess going "hey thanks for locking up that god so it doesn't kill sami btw we don't know shit abt you sorry"

so like. funny mental image of qui'sartustaj just walking along his lab looking at the test tube chimera living weapon monsters he was making by combining sarkaz dna, seeing a random ass normal girl among said monsters, and going "throw it out." and then on the fall from the cliff surtrs hand coincidentally landed on the surtr sword and jumpstarted her like a car

Don't know if you watch the VA reactions stuff on Andy's channel but how do you feel about them talking about how Laurance doesn't have a last name.

Andy said something along the lines that it's a mini-game-only thing.

i have seen a little of them but i missed that one! hunted down where they said that though just so i could reply to this with proper context - i don't think things the voice actors say in rewatches hold any more weight than things they said in minigames, really. and i love andy but he is not the final say of all aphmau lore lol

as for minigames being canon - the way i see it, lore in the minigames can be canon so long as it doesn't contradict something in the roleplays - if there's a direct contradiction, then the roleplay wins. minigames have provided a lot of supplemental lore and i don't see any reason not to use it.

to the main topic, laurance's name may not have been said in a roleplay, but that's exactly why zvahl can be canon - there's no contradiction! if laurance is ever given a last name proper, i'll figure that out then, but until then, he's Laurance Zvahl to me (and honestly he probably always will be, even if they give him something else lmao). personally i don't even remember exactly where zvahl came from, it's just iconic and cemented in the fandom now. so what if it came from a minigame?

to me it's kind of like how in the voltron: legendary defender fandom, we all gave them last names based on prior media. sure, they never said lance's last name was mcclain in vld... but that's Lance McClain! we all know it!
