Minecraft feels like it doesn’t know what to do for big updates any more so they’re doing like small miscellaneous updates collected together. I wish they’d move on from trying to give them a theme bc I feel like that’s just confusing.
One thing I wish they’d do is do updates from time to time and go back and add pieces to old update. Like maybe add more fish or tree types.
Specifically what made me have this thought is that I’d love if they’d add more to the geodes. Like the amethysts are lovely but I’d love if there was a whole range of crystals to find in geodes!! I feel like that’s along the line of the archaeological stuff they’ve done recently! Digging into the earth for history and stuff!
Also if they ever do a forest update I’d freak out. I’d love if they revamped their nature bc I feel like that part of the over world specifically has been the same since the beginning era of minecraft. Like ocean, nether, caves, villages, NOW FOREST. And end.
Feels like natural progression of their universe growing! And I like feeling like the updates can have a “story” like aspect to me. Especially bc worldbuilding. Favorite idea when it comes to minecraft lore

Dude I absolutely cannot stop thinking about minecraft-ing the dca but WHAT THE HELL DO I MAKE THEM
"oh Moon is definitely a phantom" ok. BUT WHAT DO I MAKE SUN. the only guys I can kiiiinda think of being a pair to the phantom is like. a parrot or a bee??? but those are SO DIFFERENT to phantoms.
and then I was like. slime & magma cube. but how in the fuck do I make hybrids of those. it's either cube or human and neither of those are directions I want to go in
and I also really really want to make them a drowned and a husk but. THOSE ARE TOO HUMAN. how do I make drowned and husk that are not just Human Guy™. also there were other reasons I didn't want to do that (mostly story-wise because yes I'm going to turn this into a comic why the fart wouldn't I) SO. WHAT YHE FUCK DO I DO

hiiiii have been building a little town on the Archhive server run by @archhivist !
there's alot of nifty datapacks that adds new stone types to mess around, though i've been mostly building with wood. But other than that everyone there is really chill and cool!

how are you holding up? (i started one too just today! i got lucky and got 4 sheep withing the first day cycle so i had a bed and skipped the night and now im all set for a sheep and chicken farm. my goal is to use this one for building stuff) (i got really inspired by waxfrau-> the guy we saw on sapnaps 24 stream accidently)
i think it's going well i found a village after a few minutes of walking and got some stuff so now im trying to look for a plains biome or even a nice flat area because being in the forest scares me (the skeletons and zombies like to stay under the trees and they always end up killing me 😞). im only going to try mining after i get set up somewhere 🙏 i also eventually want to do builds i think it'll be fun to just grind and make everything look really pretty :> ive seen some of that guy's builds and i lowkey wanna try something of that caliber so we'll see

Playing vanilla Minecraft for the first time in a while for the new 1.20 update and I know this isn't a new feature, but- holy shit I haven't had this much fun exploring cave systems in vanilla Minecraft since I did it for the first time as a seven year old

A series of thin, interconnected caverns and tunnels created by water running beneath the earth, all interconnected in a spiderweb downwards. The largest of these caverns can just barely allow a slim adult woman to squeeze through.
These caverns are everywhere and impossible to see from the surface. Because of this, the greatest danger they hold is as invisible pit traps. This is worsened by the Golden Absolution.
Where, originally, these zones were harmless, the Golden Absolution has taken out the plants whose roots stabilized these areas and provided no replacement. Areas of high Golden Absolution are still semi-stable, but that just means danger zones exist in seemingly random patches.
What makes Pit Traps dangerous is not any creatures residing within them, but rather the water that creates them. The further down in Munova you travel, the hotter and hotter it gets. Many of these streams reach towards boiling.
Burns are the most common injury acquired in Munova purely because of these pit traps. Abrasions are the second most common.
