The American "Century Series" were the first of their kind in many ways. Which one of the Century Series fighters was your favorite?

60 years ago... October 17, 1962
NASA testpilot John McKay, a former Navy pilot, who as a civilian research pilot/aeronautical engineer, made 30 flights in the North American Aviation X-15 hypersonic rocket planes from October 28, 1960, until September 8, 1966.
Note he wore an Accutron Astronaut microsonic tuning fork GMT pilot wristwatch on a coffin link bracelet. Accutron stands for “accuracy through electronics” and these watches were worn by 8 of the 12 X-15 test pilots, the “Mercury Seven” astronauts, the crew of Gemini III (March 1965) and Gordo Cooper onboard MA-9 and Gemini V.
2020 marked the 60th anniversary of Accutron as the world’s first electronic watch, a microsonic timepiece.

Had tons of fun making this Fallout GIF with a mid-century Hanna-Barbera-ish vibe. Look at these lil'goobers, makin' their way down town, walkin'fast...

In case anyone doesn’t know why Channing Tatum randomly showed up in “Deadpool & Wolverine” as Gambit:
Way back when the Fox X-Men universe was still in full swing, Tatum signed on to play Gambit in a movie. I believe he signed on after Gambit appeared in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”. The project was stuck in development hell, then cancelled. So this was Ryan Reynolds’ tribute to the cancelled project and why Gambit believed he was born in the Void.
