It can be fun (or at least informative) to look back on the past year, and see how it fits together (or doesn't). In that spirit, we at Snowflake challenge are joining the rest of the Internet by once again borrowing the Spotify Wrapped! meme.

Fandom contributions may include (but are not limited to) beta-reading, commenting, crafting, creating vids--watching vids--reccing vids, going to cons, organizing those cons, making icons, making bigger icons, playing games, creating games, recording podfic, listening to podfic, writing reviews, writing fic, etc., etc., etc.

You can explain your answers or post them without comment/context. As with the actual Spotify Wrapped!, the meaning of some of the questions is open to interpretation. Be creative. Be silly. Have fun with this.

(FYI. Did you know that people who aren't satisfied by their Spotify Wrapped! can make a fake version and post it instead? I didn't. Does that mean that Snowflake participants could post a fake Fandom Wrapped!, instead of just skipping this challenge? Or, maybe you could have your favorite characters write their own versions? Would that count for challenge #11, too? Maybe it would...)

There's nothing unusual about Whumpee cursing Whumper out, nor is it strange for the latter to punish them for it. What is unusual however, is for Whumpee to flinch away from Whumper's hand. It stills in the air between them, while Whumper's lips slowly quirk upwards.

"Are you... scared of me?"

Whumpee swallows, forcing themself not to look away. "You don't scare me, you pathetic-"

Whumper's hand suddenly moves, and there's nothing Whumpee could do to stop their head from twisting away, eyes closing.

It never reaches them, Whumper's chuckles spreading through the room instead.

"Oh, you really are!"

I'm really proud of the way these turned out, I think I got pretty damn close with all of these

And I really think style challenges should include how each artist picks their colors, like Karina tends to use low-contrast values like in the jeans and shirt, when Rea draws darker skin tones they lean towards purple, and Kira uses very saturated colors all around, oddly enough I think ABDs color sense is very close to my own so they didnt change that much

when I showed the ABD one to my brother, he said it just looks like my own style, but I think I did really well, plz compliment it :(

first one has little cats because of pb's giant cat. I'm SURE there's more and I'm SURE you can ride them like horses

third one is based on the fact that in one episode instead of paws out or their black boots, magus has turquoise boots

the sixth one is my favourite its not based on anything

the seventh one is inspired by the fact that they canonically own pink nail polish. its on their bedside table in one scene

This is so shanks coded to me. Like he just keeps losing people and he never learns how to deal with it. So much so that he becomes the abandoning parent. He literally knows nothing else all he has as a frame of reference is all the adult figures in his life leaving him and telling him it is for the best. So why exactly wouldn’t he believe that the best way to love someone is by letting go?

He does it to Luffy, he does it to Uta and in some ways he does it to Buggy and Mihawk too. Because he never just asks them to stay. He lets Buggy run out of his life even though it was pretty obvious that Buggy wanted Shanks to fight for this to take a stand a real one on a conviction for once and he…doesn’t, he just lets buggy leave.

And then he hitches his wagon to the most flighty (dude is literally a bird motif 😭) mother fucker he can find. he lets Mihawk wander in and out of his life as he pleases regardless of what is best for either of them. Because maybe Mihawk has nothing better to do 👀. Maybe he would say yes now if Shanks asks. but Shanks would rather die than ask, would cut off his other arm before he even attempted to “clip Mihawk’s wings”

And that’s like the truth of it. Shanks has been abandoned by every person that has ever loved him besides his crew and he knows they will never leave him. But Maybe he just wants someone to stay not because they call him captain.

rose-colored glasses (or the lack thereof)

In retrospect, his mother buying the garden should have been a point of concern. At the time you and Patrick had chalked it up to some sort of pre-emptive mid-life crisis. Not a brash or wild purchase like you'd expect, but large and lavish enough that it felt logical to group into the category anyway. And frankly, both of you were too enamored with this new space in the Zweig's summer home to really question the randomness of it's appearance.

It would have been a waste of time to worry about it then too. The academy took Patrick for most of the year, but his summers were always yours. Split between time at your homes in the city and wandering the acres of the summer house. There was no time to question the garden, not in the excitement of spending time with Patrick. The garden became a new adventure, a point of excitement in it's own right.

You two would wake up and bring your breakfast out there. Eating by the bushes, and later requesting to have all your other meals outside too. You'd walk around and play childish games you had yet to out grow. Sometimes read a book or just talk. It felt like the garden was a never ending entity, always with something new bud to capture your interest.

You never touched the flowers, rather enjoying the thought of you peacefully coexisting alongside each other and partially afraid of what Mrs. Zweig would say if she saw. Not that Patrick cared about any possible reaction his mother would have or the natural peace of the garden. He took to plucking any bud within arm reach.

Snagging flowers as you walked by a bush, plucking off bundles at a time. Begging to be picked, he'd smirk, pushing the flowers into your hands. Haphazardly made bouquets, if you could even call it that. It'd fluster you, endearing in it's own way, as long as it wasn't the roses.

They were the prettiest of the bunch, both in look and smell. A unexpectedly warm scent with a hint of sweetness reminiscent of the heady earthiness of cloves or myrrh. It'd wash over you anytime you were close to the large bush, drawing your gaze to the pastel blooms.

You'd run your fingers over the edge of the flower, pressing down against the the thin silky petals, as Patrick grabbed at the stem to pull them off. HIs brows would furrow the minute his fingers pressed against a thorn, but it stopped nothing. Only tightening his grip to properly pull the flower from the bush.

When he'd hand you the bud, you'd see the little prickles pushed into his thumb. Still grinning carelessly, as he insisted you take the flowers, you'd instead try picking out the thorn. He'd tell you not to worry and you'd scoff until you'd coax the small barb from where it was nestled in his skin. Wrap a band-aid around it for good measure, and watch it come loose in the span of couple hours.

It happen over and over again, him plucking the flower and you removing the thorns. An inevitable part of your time in the garden. Leaving you with more roses than any one person could need and having seen too many thorns pricked with his blood.

It's what you remember most about that summer. More than the garden or the sun, it was defined by that rose bush. Looking back, you and Patrick had settled into the roles you'd always play for the other that year.

Not that you realized it then (another gift of hindsight).

hey guys if you somehow missed it Dallon Weekes’ twitter acc was hacked. the hacker has tweeted some rly gross stuff. Dallon and Breezy are aware and are doing what they can.

Dallon is still on idkhow’s twitter and has been posting from there. he has verified this via his instagram. he has since blocked the original Dallon account.

i cannot believe this has to be said but DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE HACKER. and ESPECIALLY do not ask for a follow or ask about dallon’s likes, mutes, or blocks. this is a srs breach of privacy and it is NOT okay. REPORT THE ACCOUNT FOR IMPERSONATION AND THEN MOVE ON. THAT IS IT.

also while we are here, an old Brobecks album was also leaked on Spotify. DO NOT STREAM IT. Breezy and Dallon have both stated that they were actively working on posting it Properly. the leak not only makes that harder for them to do that, but any money generated from it WILL NOT go to the former band members like a legitimate upload would.

so. to recap. DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE HACKER. DO NOT STREAM THE LEAKED BROBECKS ALBUM.
