Day 17 - Dictionary Definition

Lively: to be full of life and energy; active and outgoing.

To be lively is as said. But I see this word and I see so much more. I see an adventure. I see fear and I see family. I see a brother and a sister clinging to each other for protection as they travel through space, running from a monster. I see the promised crowning of royalty yet to be on a day full of excitement. I imagine moving to a new place, thinking of what might be out there with all the stars, meeting people and falling in love. It’s learning to love music and sharing it with people, literally and metaphorically saving lives with it. I think of all the cool people I used to want to be; a ninja, a princess, an angel, an alien, a friend, a loved person with a righteous heart. Sometimes I feel fear and wonder what the dark crevices of an abandoned cage would be like, what the lack of life would be, to lose my own, to see that of my family’s taken away from me, and I wonder what it would be like to be trapped or to be hurt or to be away from home and afraid… But then I think that I would always be okay. I will always be full of life, and I will always find myself learning new things and adapting to new customs and taking care of the people closest to me. I see this word and I see so much more. I see an adventure.

Well, there's that. I think it's really cool. It feels adventurous and whimsical and dreamy! But, do you wanna know the truth? I actually picked the word "lively" because it is a favourite term of one of my new favourite characters from a show I've completely and utterly fallen in love with, called "3Below". Y'know, it occurred to me a few minutes ago that I thought it would be really cool if, at the end of this 365 day challenge, I managed to publish a book including all my writings from this challenge. It would, of course, still be called "The Story of 2019." But it would sound so silly to find one of the earliest prompts being based off of a Netflix cartoon. XD And it will also include all my notes- which means that if I achieve this, someone would be reading THIS note! I feel like I've just put myself in a paradox of sorts. Thanks, readers! (?)
