Week 14.8/52: April 3rd - April 9th 2023 | Japanese Afternoon Tea 🍵

Reunited with Yvonne aka one of my closest friends in high school. It’s been 6 years since we last hung out and maybe 10 years since we had a proper meal together HAHAHAA. Went to try the afternoon tea at Tsujiri. Tier 1: eel rice, salad, sushi rolls. Tier 2: matcha cheesecake, matcha macarons, biscuits, jam. Tier 3: matcha & hojicha ice cream and dangos. Overall very yum. Not SUPER fulling, I definitely had another dinner after this but it’s a super nice thing to eat if you want to sit there and just talk for 3 hours (which is exactly what we did). Nice catch ups!!

Like imagine once the Champions leave, they could all breathe a bit better now, but they know that's not the end of it, they know they relented in too easy, or perhaps Diantha really kept her word that they won't bother them anymore, or they won't mess w them and such, either way, it was nice to be able to finally sit down w each other without the threat or paranoia that one of Dia's informants are watching them

Imagine Hilbert taking off Iris' cape tho, and letting Emboar just burn it. Iris is there just staring at him, she doesn't know what to feel, at one hand it felt like smth that kept her somewhat safe for so long was taken from her, but on the other it felt like she could finally breathe, it felt like the weight of their sins, the burden of all their wrongdoings, the burden of being a champion, was taken from her and god it felt amazing to finally be free from all of it

And Hilbert's there, taking off his hoodie, his blue one, the one he always wore back then, smth that gave him comfort too, and he places it on Iris' shoulders, almost like a makeshift cape, "there, I think that looks better on you," he smiles and pulls her close to him, hiding his own tears, and he could feel her wrap her arms around him too, still afraid that if she lets go, he'd suddenly disappear

Well my area is the worst (surprise) and theres new items that [relative coworker] and ShitHeadCoworker put out for me but they didnt group them right and it's bothering me bc I don't and wont have time to fix them >:(

Like brands are supposed to be together and ideally I would put the new Disney kids stuff by the old stuff (put it right where the liquidated sets were...) but they haaaate working in my area so they just filled where there was space when they got items in :/ which is fine and I'm just glad they got them out but I'd like cohesiveness yknow?

And new summer leggings should have gone next to the winter ones imo like hey parent you want long leggings? We also have capris!
