How Ask On Data Simplifies Data Engineering with Chat-Based Interactions
In the rapidly evolving field of data engineering, efficiency, and accessibility are critical for success. Traditional methods of handling data pipelines, such as writing extensive code for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, can be time-consuming and require specialized expertise. Enter Ask On Data, an NLP based Data Engineering Tool that harnesses the power of GenAI and LLMs to revolutionize how organizations manage their data workflows.
What is Ask On Data?
Ask On Data is an open-source tool designed to simplify data engineering by leveraging a conversational, chat-based interface. Built on advanced NLP and GenAI technologies, it allows users to manage ETL/ELT processes, perform data integration, and interact with data lakes and data warehouses using natural language commands. Its unique approach democratizes data engineering, making it accessible even to non-technical users.
Streamlining Data Engineering with NLP and GenAI
Traditional data engineering tasks like data extraction, transformation, and loading require a deep understanding of programming and database systems. Ask On Data removes this barrier by enabling users to describe their requirements conversationally. For example, instead of writing SQL queries or Python scripts, a user can simply type, “Extract customer data from the data lake, transform it to include only active users, and load it into the sales data warehouse.” Ask On Data's NLP capabilities interpret the command, automatically execute the tasks, and provide real-time feedback.
This approach accelerates data transformation and eliminates the need for intricate coding, reducing the risk of errors and empowering teams to focus on insights rather than implementation.

Sitting on the edge of her bed in nothing but a robe, Y/N looked at the clock on her nightstand. She sighed. It was already 7:48 p.m., and they were supposed to leave by 7:30 to meet some of Lando’s friends at a new restaurant in Mayfair. He was in the living room, presumably checking his phone or messing around on social media to kill time. Maybe he was looking at track data or chatting with friends from Monaco—she wasn’t sure. What she did know was that she’d promised him she wouldn’t be late again.
And she’d failed.
Her phone buzzed: a message from Lando, ever the tease even though they were just rooms apart.
Lando: You’re 18 minutes behind schedule. That’s 18 minutes of fun for me, by the way.
She groaned, reading his text. A few weeks ago, in a joking attempt to correct her chronic lateness, Lando proposed a playful deal: for every minute she was late, he’d get to ‘edge’ her for exactly that length of time. When he first suggested it, she’d rolled her eyes. But she also couldn’t deny the spark of excitement that lit beneath her rib cage. She’d agreed, partly amused and partly intrigued.
It turned out the idea was far more torturous (and exhilarating) in practice. The last time she’d been late by ten minutes, she’d ended up with shaky knees and breathy pleas by the end of it. Edging, as Lando was so gleefully discovering, was something that he enjoyed dishing out far too much. She claimed she hated it. She secretly loved it. The anticipation, the pleas, the electricity in the air—it was all so heady.
And it was about to happen again, for a full eighteen minutes if she didn’t hurry.
She hopped around her bedroom, rummaging for a pair of earrings. She quickly threw on her dress—a fitted black one with a modest neckline, long sleeves, and a playful slit up the side. The kind of dress that made her feel both comfortable and alluring. She grabbed her purse, threw on some quick lip gloss, and dashed out of the room.
She found Lando in the living room, leaning back on her couch, legs lazily stretched out, wearing a crisp white button-down and dark jeans. He had that faint smirk that made her stomach flip.
“Finally,” he teased, looking her up and down. “You look stunning.”
Her cheeks warmed. “I know. Sorry. Ready?”
His smirk widened. “Eighteen minutes, love.”
Her eyes darted guiltily to the clock on the wall. “Couldn’t we just… skip it this time?”
He raised his brow. “Mm, absolutely not. A deal is a deal.”
Dinner was surprisingly smooth. Y/N smiled politely and answered as briefly as possible, reminding herself that at the end of the day, she was going home with Lando—and she knew how much he genuinely cared for her, far more than any shallow distractions.
A while later, dessert was served, and the conversation turned casual, filled with laughter and a few tipsy exchanges among the group. Y/N reached under the table to gently squeeze Lando’s thigh—a quiet thank-you for his constant support.
He met her eyes with a playful sparkle that seemed to say, “You’re welcome.” Then he nudged her knee with his, and she nudged back. This little silent exchange felt more intimate than anything else all night.
When dinner came to a close, they said their goodbyes, and Y/N felt a sense of relief heading out.
Once outside, Lando guided her back to the car. He started the engine and let it idle, turning to face her with a grin that made her cheeks burn.
She crossed her arms, pretending to be annoyed. “Stop looking at me like that. I know what you’re thinking.”
He laughed, low and warm. “Oh, I’m not sure you really know what I’m thinking. But I can guess you’re thinking about the arrangement.”
She sighed, rolling her eyes as she sank into the passenger seat. “It’s so unfair.”
“It’s completely fair. You agreed to it,” he countered, his tone playful yet firm.
Biting her lip, she turned her head to stare out the window. The city lights whirled around them. She felt the tension spark in the enclosed space, his presence so near. His hand settled on her thigh. She could almost feel the heat of his gaze on her cheek.
“You can’t back out now,” he said softly, his touch trailing a small circle on the thin fabric of her dress.
Her heart thudded. As much as she dreaded the torturous wait, her body lit up at the thought of his hands, his lips, his voice at her ear drawing out every sensation until she could barely stand it. A shiver raced through her.
She turned and met his gaze. “Let’s go home,” she whispered.
Back at her flat, the moment they stepped through the door, Lando wasted no time. He pressed her against the entryway, one hand braced against the wall near her head, the other tilting her chin toward him. His lips hovered over hers, teasing, not fully claiming her mouth.
“Eighteen minutes,” he recalled, voice husky.
She breathed out shakily, her hands sliding up his chest. “You actually timed me?”
He gave her a wry smile. “Of course. It’s a matter of principle now.”
His breath ghosted over her lips, and she parted hers, expecting a kiss—but he pulled back at the last second. That made her let out a small whine in protest, which only seemed to encourage him more.
Gently, he took her hand and led her down the hallway to her bedroom, which was dimly lit by a small lamp on the dresser. The familiar environment, the hush of the late hour, and the pounding of her own heart made everything feel heightened. She was acutely aware of how close he was, how every subtle shift of his body seemed to radiate warmth.
He guided her to sit on the edge of the bed. He stayed standing, looking down at her with that signature cocky tilt of his head. “I’m going to set a timer,” he said, pulling out his phone. “Eighteen minutes.”
“You’re ridiculous,” she muttered, but her grin betrayed her excitement.
He bent down, brushing his lips just once, featherlight, over hers. “You love it,” he teased, then reached behind her to place his phone on the nightstand. She heard a soft chime as he presumably set an alarm to go off.
She swallowed hard. “And what if I try to… shorten it?”
He laughed, a deep, throaty sound that sent another wave of warmth through her. “Good luck, love. I’m pretty sure I’ve gotten better at making you wait.”
The bedroom seemed smaller than usual, the air thick with anticipation as Lando stood over her, his gaze sharp yet playful. Y/N’s heart raced as she sat on the edge of the bed, her fingers gripping the sheets nervously. She knew what was coming, and though she’d never admit it out loud, the thought of it sent a thrill through her body.
“Eighteen minutes,” Lando murmured, his voice low and smooth, like velvet brushing against her skin. He reached down, his fingers lightly tracing the curve of her jaw. “You’re not going to make this easy for me, are you?”
She huffed, trying to sound annoyed, but the flush creeping up her neck betrayed her. “I’m not going to make it easy? You’re the one who came up with this… this torture.”
He chuckled, the sound rich and warm, and leaned in closer, his breath tickling her ear. “Torture, huh? Funny, because from where I’m standing, you seem to enjoy it just as much as I do.”
Her lips parted to argue, but he silenced her with a soft, lingering kiss. It wasn’t enough to satisfy her—it never was with him—but it was enough to make her toes curl and her breath hitch. When he pulled away, she instinctively leaned forward, chasing his lips, but he took a deliberate step back, his smirk widening.
“Oh no, love,” he teased, holding up a finger. “You’re not getting off that easy. Eighteen minutes. Every. Single. One.”
She groaned, letting her head fall back in mock exasperation. “You’re insufferable, you know that?”
“And yet, here you are, still with me.” He knelt down in front of her, his hands sliding up her thighs and pushing her dress higher. His touch was deliberate, slow, and Y/N couldn’t help the shiver that ran through her. “Now, let’s get started.”
His lips brushed the inside of her thigh, the contact featherlight but deliberate, the faintest pressure that sent a jolt of electricity straight to her core. She sucked in a sharp breath, her fingers tightening in the sheets as he lingered there, his breath warm against her sensitive skin. Slowly, as if savoring every millisecond, he pressed another kiss just slightly higher, his tongue darting out to graze the surface in a way that made her legs quiver.
His hands moved to her hips, fingers digging in with enough force to keep her grounded but not enough to hurt. He held her still, his grip firm yet controlled, as he dragged his lips farther up her thigh, each kiss a slow, torturous progression. She could feel the dampness between her legs, the ache growing with every passing second, but he was methodical, unhurried, his every movement calculated to keep her on the edge.
Just when she thought he might finally close the distance, he paused, his lips hovering just above where she wanted him most. He exhaled softly, the warmth of his breath sending another wave of need crashing through her. She arched her back, silently pleading, but he chuckled low, the sound reverberating against her skin.
“Patience,” he murmured, his voice rough with restrained hunger, before he pressed a lingering kiss to the other thigh, starting the agonizing process all over again.
Her breath hitched, a frustrated whine slipping past her lips as he pulled back, denying her once more. Heat pooled in her stomach, the fire building to a nearly unbearable level, yet he stayed just out of reach, leaving her trembling and desperate, the promise of release taunting her with every breath he took. His hands shifted, his thumbs brushing in slow circles against her hip bones, and she could feel the tension coiling tighter, tighter, threatened to snap with one more touch, one more kiss—but Lando wouldn’t crack. Not yet. Not while the timer still counted down.
The heat of his mouth pressed against the damp fabric of her underwear, and Y/N gasped, her hips instinctively lifting toward him. His hands held her firmly in place, his grip unyielding, as he kissed her through the thin barrier.
“Lando,” she whispered, the word trembling on her lips. His name was a plea, a prayer. His lips moved deliberately, each kiss leaving behind a trail of fire, until her underwear was soaked, clinging to her skin, and still, he didn’t stop.
“Mm, you’re dripping already,” he murmured, his voice rough. He paused to glance up at her, his smirk wicked. “What do you want, love?”
She shook her head, unable to voice it, but her body answered for her: her legs parted wider, her hips arching closer. He chuckled, low and knowing, before sinking his fingers into the sides of her underwear and pulling them down in one slow, torturous motion. The cool air kissed her heated skin, but it was his gaze that burned, his eyes raking over her as if memorizing every detail.
His lips pressed against the soft, sensitive skin of her inner thigh, and she gasped, her fingers twisting into the sheets. He lingered there, his breath hot, before moving higher, his mouth trailing a slow, deliberate path toward her center. Each kiss was a tease, a promise he wasn’t ready to fulfill just yet. His tongue flicked out, tracing the curve where her thigh met her hip, and she shuddered, her legs trembling beneath him.
He kissed lower, his lips brushing over the delicate crease of her pubic bone, and she let out a sharp, desperate sound, her hips lifting instinctively. But he didn’t stop there. His mouth moved with agonizing slowness, kissing every inch of her, his lips grazing the swollen, aching flesh of her pussy. She could feel the wetness of her arousal coating his lips now, slick and warm, and the sensation made her head spin.
His tongue darted out, teasing her clit with the lightest touch, and she cried out, her back arching off the bed. He chuckled, low and dark, before pulling back, leaving her trembling and desperate. “Not yet,” he murmured, his voice rough with restraint. His lips returned to her inner thighs, kissing and nipping at the tender skin, as if savoring every second of her torment. The heat between her legs was unbearable, her body begging for release, but he kept her on the edge, his every touch a cruel, delicious reminder of what she couldn’t have—yet.
His tongue finally made contact, a slow, deliberate drag through her slick folds that had her gasping, her body twitching involuntarily. He didn’t rush, didn’t give her the relief she craved. Instead, he let the flat of his tongue glide over her entrance, pressing just enough to make her hips jerk toward him, but not enough to satisfy the ache that had been building since he first knelt between her thighs.
Her breath hitched as he lingered there, his breath hot and wet, the faintest puff of air brushing against her sensitive skin. His tongue teased at her entrance, a soft, insistent dip that made her whimper, her fingers clawing at the sheets as if they could anchor her against the tidal wave of sensation crashing through her. He flicked his tongue against her clit, light and quick, and she cried out, her back arching off the bed, her insides coiling tighter.
He didn’t stop. His tongue moved in slow, deliberate circles around her clit, each swirl sending jolts of electricity straight to her core. She could feel the heat building, the pressure mounting, her body right on the edge of release. But just as she felt herself tipping over, he pulled back, his lips pressing a soft, torturous kiss to the swollen bundle of nerves instead.
Her hips lifted, desperate, pleading, but he held her down with one firm hand on her stomach, his other gripping her hip to keep her still. His mouth moved lower again, his tongue tracing the outline of her entrance, his lips kissing the slick skin as if savoring every drop of her arousal.
He was relentless, his tongue flicking against her clit in quick, teasing strokes one moment, then flattening against her in slow, languid laps the next. His breath hitched against her, warm and uneven, and she could feel the tension in his shoulders, the way he held himself back even as he pushed her closer and closer to the brink.
Her breath came in short, sharp gasps, her chest rising and falling like she’d run a marathon. Her thighs trembled uncontrollably, her knees pressing together as if to trap the sensation, to hold onto the fleeting euphoria he denied her.
His tongue circled her clit again, the pressure just enough to make her cry out, her body tightening like a coiled spring. But he stopped, his lips hovering just above her, his breath hot and ragged, leaving her on the edge of release, suspended in a state of agonizing bliss.
“Lando,” she whimpered, her voice ragged, her nails digging into her own palms. “Please...”
He chuckled, low and dark, the sound vibrating against her skin. “Not yet,” he murmured, his lips brushing hers again, teasing her with the promise of what was to come.
But the timer wasn’t up, and neither was he.
“Please,” she whimpered again, her voice broken. “Please, I’m so close. Just—just let me—”
Lando leaned back, licking his lips as if savoring her taste, a glint in his eye that was pure mischief. “Not yet, love. Eleven minutes left.”
“No,” she breathed, her voice unsteady, her body still coiled tight, wavering on the edge. “You can’t—you didn’t let me—“
“Exactly,” he said, leaning in to brush his lips against her ear. “That’s the point, isn’t it?”
She groaned, frustration and arousal warring inside her. Her hands reached for him, but he caught them easily, pinning them back against the bed. “You’re a menace,” she muttered, but the way she said it—breathless, charged—gave her away.
He grinned. “And you’re mine. Now be patient. I’m not done with you yet.”
She didn’t respond, mostly because she knew he was right. There was something intoxicating about the way he controlled her pleasure, the way he could reduce her to a trembling, begging mess with just a few touches. She hated how much she loved it.
Lando’s lips found hers again, this time more demanding, and she melted into the kiss, her hands tangling in his hair. He deepened it, his tongue exploring her mouth as his hands roamed her body, leaving trails of fire in their wake. She moaned into his mouth, her hips bucking involuntarily, but he pulled away again, leaving her breathless and desperate.
“Still ten minutes,” he whispered against her lips, his voice rough with desire. “Think you can last?”
She glared at him, but there was no real heat behind it. “You’re enjoying this way too much.”
He grinned, his hand slipping between her legs and teasing her with featherlight touches. “Guilty. But can you blame me? Look at you—beautiful, writhing, completely at my mercy. How could I not enjoy it?”
Her breath hitched as his fingers found her clit, rubbing in slow, deliberate circles. She arched into his touch, her hips moving of their own accord, but he pulled his hand away, leaving her gasping for more. She could see the amusement in his eyes, the way he reveled in her frustration, and it only made her want him more.
“What’s the matter, love?” he teased, his voice laced with mischief. “Can’t handle a little teasing?”
She grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him down to her level. “You’re going to pay for this later.”
He laughed, a deep, throaty sound that sent shivers down her spine. “Promises, promises.”
Before she could retort, his lips were on hers again, his hands roaming her body with a possessiveness that made her head spin. She let herself get lost in the kiss, in the way his body pressed against hers, but just as she was starting to lose herself, he pulled away again, leaving her panting and frustrated.
“Nine minutes,” he murmured, his lips trailing down her neck. “Think you can hold out?”
She let out a shaky breath, her hands gripping the sheets tightly. “I don’t think I have a choice.”
He chuckled, his breath hot against her skin. “Good girl.”
His lips left her neck, and she felt the shift in his weight as he stood. Her eyes fluttered open, watching as he unbuckled his belt with deliberate slowness, the sound of leather sliding through the loops sending a shiver down her spine. He pushed his trousers down just enough to free himself, and her breath hitched at the sight of him—hard, thick, and already glistening at the tip.
“Lando,” she whispered, her voice trembling, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he knelt between her legs again, his hands gripping her hips as he positioned himself. The head of his cock brushed against her clit, slick with her arousal, and she gasped, her back arching off the bed.
He didn’t push in. Not yet. He dragged the tip of his cock back and forth over her swollen clit, the friction maddeningly light, teasing her until she was squirming beneath him. Her hands fisted the sheets, her breath coming in short, desperate gasps as he continued to torment her.
“Please,” she begged, her voice breaking. “Please, Lando, I can’t—I need—”
He chuckled, low and dark, his grip tightening on her hips. “You need what, love? Tell me.”
She whimpered, her body trembling with need. “You. Inside me. Now.”
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with mischief, and finally, finally, he pressed forward, the thick head of his cock stretching her open inch by agonizing inch. She moaned, loud and unrestrained, her nails digging into the mattress as he filled her completely. He paused there, buried deep, and she could feel every pulse of him inside her, the way her walls clenched around him, desperate for more.
“Lando,” she whined, her hips lifting instinctively, trying to coax him into moving. But he stayed still, his hands holding her firmly in place. “Move. Please, move.”
He leaned down, his lips brushing against her ear. “Patience, love. We’ve got time.”
She groaned, frustration and arousal warring inside her. “You’re killing me.”
He laughed softly, the sound vibrating against her skin, and finally, finally, he began to move. Slowly. Painfully slowly. He pulled out almost all the way, leaving just the tip inside her before pushing back in with that same torturous pace. Each thrust was deliberate, calculated, designed to drive her wild without giving her the release she craved.
Her breath came in ragged gasps, her body trembling with every slow, deep stroke. She could feel every ridge, every vein of him as he moved inside her, stretching her, filling her in ways that made her head spin. Her hands reached for him, clutching at his shoulders, his arms, anything to anchor herself against the overwhelming sensation.
“Faster,” she pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper. “Please, Lando, faster.”
He shook his head, his lips curving into that infuriating smirk. “Not yet. You’re doing so well, love. Just a little longer.”
She whimpered, her body writhing beneath him, but he held her steady, his pace unchanging. Every thrust was a tease, a promise of what was to come, but not enough to push her over the edge. She was a mess, her mind fogged with pleasure, her body aching for release, but he was relentless, drawing out every second of her torment.
“Lando,” she cried, her voice breaking. “Please, I can’t—I need—”
He leaned down, capturing her lips in a searing kiss, swallowing her pleas as he continued to move inside her, slow and deep, driving her closer and closer to the brink. And when he finally picked up the pace, it was only to leave her hanging once more, right on the edge of ecstasy, completely at his mercy.
His thrusts deepened, quickened, the rhythm shifting from slow and deliberate to something harder, more urgent. The sound of skin meeting skin filled the room, her moans rising with every snap of his hips. She was close—so close—her body tightening, her breath hitching as she wobbled on the edge. And then he stopped. Just like that. He froze, buried deep inside her, his cock throbbing against her walls as she clenched around him, desperate for release.
“No,” she gasped, her voice breaking. “Lando, please—don’t stop. I’m so close. Please, just let me—”
He leaned down, his lips brushing her ear, his voice low and teasing. “Not yet, love. Five minutes left.”
She whimpered, frustration bubbling up in her chest, her nails digging into his shoulders. “Forget the deal. Just fuck me. Please, I can’t take it anymore.”
He chuckled, the sound dark and amused, his hands gripping her hips to keep her still. “You know I can’t do that. A deal’s a deal. Besides...” His smirk widened as he stayed buried deep inside her, his cock throbbing against her walls, unmoving. “I love seeing you like this. Begging. Squirming. Completely at my mercy.”
Her eyes flashed with defiance, and before he could react, she squeezed her inner muscles, clenching around him with everything she had. The pressure was sharp, electric, and his cock twitched in response, throbbing hot and heavy within her. She watched his jaw tighten, the amusement in his eyes flickering for a split second.
But he caught himself, his hand darting between her legs, fingertips brushing her swollen clit to stop her. Nice try,” he murmured, his voice dripping with amusement. He shifted back, kneeling up slightly but keeping himself inside her, his cock still stretching her wide. He gripped the base of himself, stroking slowly, slick with her arousal, as if taunting her with what she couldn’t have. His gaze bore into hers, unrelenting. “You think squeezing around me will make you come? Clever, but not clever enough.”
She glared at him, her body trembling with the effort it took not to buck her hips, but she didn’t respond. Her defiant silence only seemed to amuse him more.
Finally, he pulled out completely, leaving her empty and aching, his cock glistening with her wetness as he knelt between her thighs. “Four minutes,” he said, his voice low and teasing, as he began to stroke himself with agonizing slowness. “Think you can last?”
She groaned, her head falling back against the pillows, her body trembling with need as she closed her legs. "You're impossible."
“And you’re mine,” he said, leaning down but deliberately staying just out of reach. His voice dropped to a husky whisper. “Now, spread your legs for me. You’re not allowed to cheat your way out of this.”
When she hesitated, his free hand slid to her thigh, pushing it open with firm, deliberate pressure. His cock twitched in his hand, the tip glistening as he stroked himself again, teasing her with the sight.
She glared at him, but her breath hitched—a telltale sign that she was hanging on his every movement.
“Good girl,” he murmured, his thumb flicking over her clit once more before he leaned even closer, his lips brushing the shell of her ear. “Now, let’s make those last four minutes count.”
She groaned, her head falling back against the pillows, her body trembling with need. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re mine,” he said, leaning down to capture her lips in a searing kiss. His tongue explored her mouth, hot and demanding, while his cock pressed against her clit, the friction maddeningly light. She arched into him, her hips lifting off the bed, but he held her steady, his grip unyielding.
“Please,” she whispered against his lips, her voice ragged. “Please, Lando, I can’t—I need—”
He kissed her again, silencing her pleas, his lips trailing down her neck, nipping and sucking at the sensitive skin. His cock rubbed against her clit in slow, deliberate circles, the pressure just enough to make her whimper but not enough to push her over the edge. She was a mess, her mind fogged with pleasure, her body aching for release, but he was relentless, drawing out every second of her torment.
“Three minutes,” he murmured, his breath hot against her skin. “Think you can last?”
She shook her head, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. “No. I can’t. Please, just let me come.”
He chuckled, low and dark, his lips brushing hers again. “Almost there, love. Be patient.”
Her hands fisted the sheets, her body writhing beneath him, but he held her steady, his touch firm and controlled. Every brush of his cock against her clit sent jolts of electricity through her, the sensation building, coiling tighter and tighter until she thought she might explode. But he didn’t let her. Not yet. Not until the timer went off.
He pulled back, his lips leaving hers with a soft, teasing pop. Her eyes fluttered open, confused, as he shifted his weight off her and knelt between her legs. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, her skin flushed and gleaming under the dim light.
Lando’s hand wrapped around his cock, slick and throbbing, and he began to stroke himself slowly, his gaze locked on hers. His eyes raked over her body—the curve of her hips, the swell of her breasts, the way her thighs trembled as they spread wider for him. But it was her pussy that held his attention, glistening and soaked, needy and waiting.
She whimpered, her fingers clawing at the sheets as she watched him. The sight of his cock in his hand, stroking steadily over her dripping core, sent another wave of arousal crashing through her. She could feel the heat building, the ache growing unbearable. “Please,” she begged, her voice shaky, almost hysterical with need.
“Almost there, love,” he murmured, his tone dark and teasing, his eyes dropping to where his cock nearly brushed her clit with every slow stroke. He tilted his head slightly as if studying her, his smirk widening at the flush spreading down her chest, the way her legs twitched with every agonizing pass of his hand.
She arched her back, her hips lifting instinctively toward him, desperate for contact. But he held himself just out of reach, his strokes deliberate now as if pushing her closer. “Look at you,” he said, his voice rough with restraint. “Soaked. Begging. Mine.”
Her breath hitched, her teeth sinking into her lower lip to stifle another whine. His thumb circled the swollen head of his cock once before dragging it down, the tip brushing against her clit so lightly it was torture. A small cry escaped her, her fingers gripping the sheets tighter. She couldn’t take it anymore. She couldn’t hold on much longer.
The timer’s chime shattered the heavy silence, loud and sharp. Y/N gasped, relief and anticipation flooding her system. Lando didn’t hesitate. He grabbed her hips firmly, positioning himself at her entrance, and plunged into her in one deep stroke.
She cried out, her back arching off the bed, her walls clenching around him as he filled her completely. He didn’t waste time. His thrusts were hard and merciless, each one driving her higher, sending sparks shooting through her veins. She clung to him, her nails digging into his shoulders as he fucked her with relentless abandon.
It didn’t take long. Three thrusts in, the pressure inside her snapped, and her orgasm crashed over her in blinding waves. She screamed his name, her body convulsing around him, her legs trembling uncontrollably as pleasure consumed her.
It didn’t take long. The moment he buried himself inside her, the tension that had been coiling in her core for what felt like an eternity snapped. On the third thrust, her body gave in completely, and her orgasm tore through her with a force that left her breathless. She screamed his name, her voice raw and unfiltered, as waves of pleasure crashed over her, one after another, relentless and all-consuming. Her back arched off the bed, her fingers clawing at his shoulders, her legs trembling uncontrollably as her walls clenched around him, milking every inch of his cock.
Lando groaned, deep and guttural, his grip on her hips tightening to the point of pain as he felt her convulse around him. His rhythm faltered for a moment, overwhelmed by the intensity of her release, but then he surged forward again, driving into her with renewed urgency. Four, five, six thrusts—each one deeper, harder, more desperate than the last—and he came with a growl that seemed to rumble from the very depths of his chest. His release spilled into her in hot, pulsing waves, filling her completely as his hips jerked against hers, prolonging the sensation for both of them.
He collapsed onto her chest, his breath coming in ragged gasps, his skin slick with sweat as it pressed against hers. Their heartbeats pounded in unison, a chaotic rhythm that slowly began to steady as the aftershocks of their shared climax ebbed away. The room was silent except for the sound of their breathing, heavy and uneven, mingling together in the aftermath of the cruel, delicious game they had just played.
Her breath was still ragged, her chest rising and falling like she’d just run a marathon. Lando’s weight pressed into her, his skin hot against hers, but the tension had melted into something softer, more intimate. Her fingers absently traced the curve of his shoulder, her body still trembling with the remnants of her release. He lifted his head slightly, his lips brushing her shoulder in a slow, lingering kiss that made her shiver.
“Holy shit,” she whispered, her voice uneven, throat raw. “I don’t think I’ve ever come that hard in my life.”
He chuckled, the sound low and self-satisfied, his breath warm against her skin. “Good to know I’m still capable of surprising you.”
She tilted her head to meet his gaze, her lips curving into a half-hearted glare. “Don’t get too cocky. I’m low-key annoyed at you for making me wait that long. Like, genuinely. Didn’t think you’d actually go full eighteen minutes. Torture much?”
He grinned, unapologetic, his eyes gleaming with mischief. “Oh, come on, love. You knew exactly what you were signing up for when you agreed to the deal. And let’s be honest—you loved every second of it.”
She groaned, swatting at his chest weakly. “I’m never admitting that out loud.”
His smirk widened as he shifted slightly, nudging her legs apart to rest more comfortably between them. “You don’t have to say it. I can feel it.” His hand trailed down her side, fingertips brushing over her ribs in a way that made her shiver. “Maybe this’ll be the motivation you need to stop being late to everything. Because, trust me, if you keep testing me like this, I’ll only get better at edging you.”
She rolled her eyes, but the flush creeping up her neck gave her away. “Oh, so now you’re threatening me? Classy.”
He leaned down, his lips brushing hers in a teasing kiss. “Not a threat, love. A promise. So, what’s it gonna be? On time from now on? Or... more of this?” He punctuated his words with a slow roll of his hips, his cock still buried deep inside her, and she gasped, her hands gripping his shoulders instinctively.
“You,” she said breathlessly, “are the worst.”
“And yet,” he murmured, his lips grazing her ear, “you’re not saying no.”
She let out a laugh, the sound warm and unrestrained, and he pressed his forehead to hers, their breaths mingling. “Fine,” she said finally, her tone mock-defeated. “I’ll try to be on time. But if I’m late again, you better be ready to deliver. That was... intense.”
He chuckled, the sound dark and warm. “Oh, I’m always ready, love. And next time, we’ll make it even better.”
She groaned, but her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him down for a kiss that was less teasing and more heated. He smiled into it, his body pressing into hers as he murmured, “Eighteen minutes very well spent.”

—
Amelia was crouched down by Max's car, her hand resting on the tire as she scanned through the data on her iPad. The numbers on the screen felt too slow, almost static, compared to the racing thoughts racing through her head.
Beside her, Jos loomed over her, a red-ink pen poised above her little black notebook. He was taking notes for her. Her mind was moving faster than her hands could keep up, and sometimes, just sometimes, she needed someone like him, methodical, steady, and patient, to help her process it all.
Her fingers flicked over the screen, swiping through the data from Max's morning run, when she paused, eyes flicking to Jos. “You see what I see?” she asked, her voice low, as if speaking any louder might break the delicate focus she’d managed to carve out for herself.
Jos nodded, his eyes scanning the information on the screen before looking back down at the scribbles he’d started in her notebook. “More rear stability in the high-speed corners. We’ll need to adjust the dampers again,” he said, his voice calm and matter-of-fact.
Amelia’s eyes tightened slightly as she thought. “We might need to soften the rear more. The front’s too reactive. Max is going to be fighting it in corners three and four, especially.” She tapped the screen lightly, zooming in on the section of the track map. “The car’s settling into a snap too fast, can’t keep up with the rear load in the high-speed sections.”
Jos made a mark in her notebook. “Front end’s still too eager, then?” He sighed.
“Yeah, exactly,” Amelia made a face. “We soften that just a little bit more. Max needs more confidence in the corners. Less initial bite, more consistency. Maybe tweak the ride height slightly too.” Her words were coming faster now as the solution to their issues fell into place in her brain.
As the day wore on, Max’s car was fine-tuned with the adjustments, and Amelia watched on with satisfaction as everything came together in perfect harmony.
They had a plan. The tweaks would work. Max would be happy with the handling.
She turned to Jos when the mechanics started to wheel Max’s car back into the garage for the final time, day one of testing officially over, giving him a small but appreciative smile.
He pulled her notebook out of the pocket of his jeans and handed it over. “I hope you can understand my handwriting.”
—
Amelia sat opposite Max at one of the small team tables in the Red Bull hospitality unit. Most of the staff had already filtered out for the night, their voices fading down the hallway as engineers, PR reps, and mechanics headed for shuttles and taxis. But the two of them lingered — Amelia, still editing Jos’ scribbled notes from earlier in the day, and Max, who had quietly gotten into the habit of not leaving until she did.
It was almost sweet. He dropped her off to Lando at her hotel room at the end of every day like she was a preschooler getting passed between divorced parents. She hadn’t said anything about it, partly because it was practical, and partly because she didn’t mind it. It was nice not to have to worry about being alone.
Across from her, Max was hunched low in his chair, arms folded tight across his chest, mouth set in a hard line. His gaze flicked from the tabletop to her notebook and back again, a rhythm she’d seen a hundred times before. It meant he was thinking. Hard. Or more likely, overthinking.
She didn’t bother looking up. “Just say it.”
He blinked. “What?”
“You’ve been fidgeting with your straw for six minutes. It’s starting to irritate me.”
Max exhaled through his nose, leaning back into the bench with a groan. “You are very annoying.”
“Mhmm,” she hummed, finally meeting his eyes. “Max, tell me.”
He hesitated, then shifted forward, resting his elbows on the table. There was a pause, a rare, tentative kind, and then, quieter than usual, he said, “I’m nervous.”
That made her put the pen down.
“For the season?” she asked, although she already suspected the answer.
Max nodded. “Everyone keeps saying 2021 is my year. Like it’s inevitable. Like this is it. And I want it — Fuck, I want it so bad. I’ve worked for it my whole life. But now that it’s here, I don’t know…” He rubbed a hand down his face. “What if it doesn’t happen?”
“It might not,” Amelia said plainly.
Max looked like he wanted to argue, but stopped short, blinking at her. “Comforting.”
“You’re not asking for comfort,” she said. “You’re asking if you’re good enough. And yes, you are. But this sport doesn’t always care about that.”
He let that sit for a moment. Nodded.
Then, quieter still, “There’s something else.”
Amelia raised an eyebrow.
“I met someone. Over the break.”
She made a face. “Someone?”
He groaned. “Don’t do the eyebrow thing.”
She relaxed her face. “Who did you meet?”
Max scratched at the edge of the table. “I met her in Monaco. She’s nice. A lawyer . She thinks I’m just… Max. I didn’t tell her about the racing. About… everything. She doesn’t follow F1.”
Amelia leaned forward slightly. “So she doesn’t know who you are.”
He shrugged helplessly. “She knows who I am. Just not… what I do.”
Amelia tilted her head. “And you like that?”
“I think so,” he said. “It’s peaceful. She talks to me like a normal person. No hero-worship, no pressure. Just… calm.”
“You’re lying to her, essentially,” she said bluntly. “Not a good foundation for a relationship.”
He shot her a withering look. “Jesus. You’re worse than my dad.”
“I take that as a compliment. We have the same goal.”
“I know.”
She looked down at her notebook, flipping a page and skimming it for a second. “You think you can manage both? A relationship and a championship battle?”
He hesitated. “Is that selfish?”
“No,” she said, then looked back at him. “But it might be a bit stupid.”
Max chuckled dryly. “Thanks.”
“I’m not saying you can’t have both,” Amelia added. “I’m just saying that it probably won’t work.”
He frowned, nodded slowly, then said, “But you’re managing your relationship and my championship.”
“I’m not the one driving the car, Max.” She argued.
“Still,” he muttered. “You’re making it work. I could make it work.”
She shrugged. “Okay. Is she nice?”
Max nodded, “I almost ran her over.”
She blinked at him. “Oh. That’s… romantic?” She tried.
He laughed shortly. “She was in a rush, didn’t look properly. I apologised and gave her a ride to work. She— she, uh, thinks that I’m just some wealthy businessman’s son, or something.”
She chewed on her bottom lip, anxiety curling in the pit of her stomach. “You should stop lying to her. I would… I would not like it if I was in that situation and I found out that I was being lied to.”
Max sighed. Nodded.
Then he stood, grabbed both their jackets, and slung hers over the back of her chair. “Come on. Let’s get you to your boyfriend before he starts texting me again asking where you are.”
She gave him a flat look. “He has a GPS tracker on my phone.”
Max rolled his eyes. “Of course he does. Typical Norris.”
She shrugged. “It’s sweet. Sometimes I get lost and he has to come and find me.”
Max laughed, and for the first time all day, some of the tightness left his posture. “Yeah,” he said, holding the door open for her. “Probably good that he has it, then.”
—
The lights of Manama twinkled in the distance, warm and hazy against the desert night. From the balcony of their hotel suite, the city looked like it belonged to another world; quiet and golden and slow in a way the paddock never was. The hum of the air conditioning inside was replaced by the occasional distant honk of a car, or the hush of wind weaving through the palm trees below.
Amelia was seated cross-legged on one of the outdoor chairs, wrapped in a white robe, her hair still damp from her shower. Lando, in a t-shirt and joggers, was fiddling with a tiny bottle opener, attempting to open a bottle of some obscure sparkling drink he’d insisted was “romantic, okay baby? Trust me.”
Their room service tray sat between them on the small table. Grilled flatbreads, mezze, roasted lamb. Lando had ordered for them and he’d gotten everything right.
“I don’t know how you always remember this stuff,” she said, dipping a piece of bread into a tangy yogurt sauce.
Lando grinned, finally getting the bottle open with a victorious pop. “Because I listen when you talk. I know the face you make when you think something tastes bad or has a yucky texture. I have eyes. Shocking, I know.”
Amelia gave him a pointed look. “Last week, you kissed my eyeball because you were being lazy and tried to kiss me with your eyes closed.”
“Shut up.” He huffed.
She laughed quietly, curling into him, giving him a bit of the blanket. “I think Max might be in love,” she said suddenly.
Lando blinked. “Max? Verstappen?”
“Mm,” she nodded, chewing. “He told me today that he met someone over the winter. She doesn’t know who he is. Like, really doesn’t know. Thinks he’s just some rich guy named Max.”
Lando made a face. “That… feels impossible.”
“She’s apparently very disconnected. Doesn’t follow the sport. Max likes it.”
Lando nodded slowly. “Weird. But kind of sweet, I guess.”
She frowned at him. “I told him he shouldn’t be dating during a title fight.”
“Very romantic of you.” Lando teased.
She shrugged. “I never said I was romantic.”
“No,” he said. “But you are.”
She rolled her eyes but didn’t disagree. Instead, she reached for his hand where it rested on the table, her fingers brushing over his lightly. “I hope you do very well this year, Lan.” She told him, earnest and hopeful. “You deserve it.”
Lando turned his hand over to lace their fingers together. “So do you. Deserve to do well, I mean. You’ve worked so hard this past year. You deserve to see it pay off.”
Amelia didn’t say anything right away. She just leaned over and kissed him; soft, sweet, clinging. It wasn’t meant to lead anywhere at first, just a thank you. But she didn’t pull away. And he didn’t let her go.
She ended up in his lap, her legs curled against his chest, her robe brushing his knees. His hands slid instinctively around her back, fingers splaying wide against the thin fabric, grounding her. Grounding himself.
They stayed like that for a long time. The balcony lights dimmed behind them. The city hummed faintly in the distance, the last remnants of dinner cooling on the table, the silence between them easy.
Then, gently, she climbed off of him and stood. Her bare feet whispered against the tile as she stepped forward, and she stopped just in front of where he sat, between his knees. Her eyes searched his face for a beat, then she reached for the hem of his t-shirt.
“Come inside with me?”
Lando’s breath caught slightly. He looked up at her, her expression steady, soft, open, and nodded. “Yeah. Okay.”
Inside, the hotel room was cast in warm light, golden from a low bedside lamp. The curtains were drawn against the city, muffling the world outside. The bed was turned down, sheets crisp, pillows fluffed. A quiet kind of invitation.
She tugged him by the hand toward the bed, and he followed without a word, heart thudding in his chest.
It wasn’t rushed. It wasn’t awkward.
There was a kind of reverence to the way they undressed, slow, curious. Amelia’s robe slipped from her shoulders, caught briefly on her elbows before pooling at her feet. Lando’s hands hovered just for a second before brushing up her arms, like he was making sure she wouldn’t vanish if he touched her too quickly.
Their kisses deepened, still hesitant but filled with intent, with the weight of everything they’d been building toward for over a year. Every laugh, every shared moment of delicate intimacy, every time they’d caught each other’s eyes across a garage or a hotel lobby, it all settled into the space between them.
Lando’s mouth trailed across her skin with an almost startled sort of wonder, like he was learning a language he’d been waiting to speak. Her fingers threaded through his curls, tugging gently when his lips brushed the hollow of her throat. They moved together with quiet urgency, limbs tangled, breath catching against skin.
At one point, Lando paused, hovering just above her, his eyes sweeping across her face, flushed, focused, real.
“You’re so... fuck,” he whispered, barely audible.
Amelia blinked, lips curling faintly. “Not sure that’s a compliment.”
He kissed the curve of her shoulder, then her collarbone. “It is,” he murmured. “It really is.”
And when they finally settled under the covers, tangled together with her head tucked beneath his chin, Lando let out a shaky breath he hadn’t realised he’d been holding.
She didn’t say much, but her fingers curled into his shirt like she wasn’t planning on letting go anytime soon, and that was enough.
—
The sunlight was already creeping through the sliver of the curtains when Lando stirred, warmth pooling low in his stomach before he was even fully awake. For a moment, he didn’t move, just blinked up at the ceiling, trying to remember if he’d dreamt the night before, or if it had really happened.
Then she shifted against him.
Amelia was tucked beneath his arm, hair a little wild against his chest, one bare leg tangled over his. Her cheek was pressed just below his collarbone, lips slightly parted, her breath steady and warm against his skin.
Definitely not a dream.
He smiled, slow, stupid, unbelievably content.
She felt it too, maybe, his laugh or the way his fingers brushed along her back, because she mumbled something that sounded vaguely like a complaint and burrowed closer, clearly not ready to be awake yet.
Lando tilted his head, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “Morning, baby.”
She made a noise that was more sigh than word. “Mm. No.”
“No what?”
“No talking,” she murmured, her voice thick with sleep. “Too early.”
He laughed quietly, the sound muffled by her hair. “It’s almost seven.”
“Too early for you to be this cheerful.” She grumbled.
Lando shifted just enough to look down at her, brushing a lock of hair away from her face. “I’m not cheerful.”
“You’re smiling.”
He smiled wider. “Can you blame me?”
She cracked an eye open, blinking up at him. Her face was still soft from sleep, a little puffy and makeup-free, but to him, she looked... ridiculously beautiful.
“What?” she asked, because he was staring.
“Nothing,” he said, brushing his thumb along her jaw. “I just really like waking up next to you.”
Her expression shifted slightly. And then, a second later, she exhaled and said quietly, “I like it, too.”
Lando kissed her, just a little one, lazy and warm.
They lay tangled in the sheets, the morning light spilling gently across the room. For a while, neither of them moved, perfectly content to exist in the quiet, wrapped up in warmth and each other.
Eventually, Amelia stirred, shifting just enough to reach over to the nightstand. She blinked blearily at her phone and then sighed and glanced across the room.
“Shit,” she muttered. “I forgot to charge my iPad.”
Lando, still half-asleep, pressed a slow kiss to her bare shoulder. “I plugged it in when I got up in the middle of the night to go for a piss.”
She turned to look at him, her expression soft, a little surprised. Her voice came quiet. “You did?”
He nodded, eyes still heavy with sleep. “Didn’t want you waking up to it dead.”
A pause. Then she gave him the smallest pout, sleepy and affectionate and so purely her. “I love you.”
He broke into a grin, one of those quiet, full-body smiles that lived in his eyes. “Yeah,” he murmured, brushing her hair back. “I love you too.”
The McLaren motorhome was buzzing with early morning energy, the consistent hum of coffee machines working overtime. Amelia slipped through the front doors with her badge swinging around her neck, hair still damp from a rushed shower, and Lando trailing behind her, half-yawning into a croissant.
Zak spotted them first, already seated at one of the corner tables with Daniel, who was halfway through a heaping plate of scrambled eggs and talking animatedly about something.
“There’s my girl,” Zak called, waving them over.
Amelia dropped into the seat beside her dad with a tired sigh. “Morning, dad.” She kissed his cheek.
“You sound tired,” he frowned at her, sipping his coffee.
Lando slid into the chair beside her, nudging her with his knee under the table. She handed him a napkin in response, gesturing for him to wipe the crumbs away from his face, and he smiled.
Daniel looked between them, eyebrows raised. “You must be Amelia. I’m Daniel. Can’t actually believe we’ve not met properly before now.”
“I know.” Amelia agreed, already reaching across the table for a muffin.
Daniel leaned in a little, grinning. “Lando talks about you all the damn time. In debriefs, pre-race meetings, on his radio—”
“Please stop talking,” Lando glared at his new teammate, clearly embarrassed.
“She’s worth talking about,” Zak laughed, patting Amelia on the shoulder with a fond smile.
Daniel smirked at Lando, thoroughly enjoying his discomfort. Lando just narrowed his eyes at him, his cheeks flushing slightly.
Amelia took another bite of her muffin, savouring her food. But before she could finish, her phone buzzed violently against the table. It was from Max.
iMessage — 7:33am
Max Verstappen Are you here, sister? I want to talk about my steering set-up
Amelia On my way to you now.
She shoved the rest of her muffin into her mouth and stood up in one swift motion. “Okay. I gotta go.”
Lando looked up, surprised. “Already?”
Amelia kissed him quickly on the cheek, her lips lingering for just a second longer than expected. She gave her dad a quick shoulder squeeze before smiling at Daniel, her usual bluntness softened by a bit of shyness she wasn’t used to showing in front of him. “Max wants my advice.”
Zak called after her with a grin. “Tell Jos I want my daughter back for lunch.”
“No promises,” she replied with a glance over her shoulder, already speed-walking toward the exit. Her hair bounced with each step, and her phone was pressed to her ear before she even made it out of the motorhome.
Daniel leaned toward Lando as she disappeared down the hallway. “You’re screwed, brother.”
Lando shot him a look, kicking him under the table. “Shut up.”

Normally, I didn't have trouble getting up in the mornings, especially during Grand Prix weekends, but today it had been incredibly hard to leave Y/N and Emily sleeping.
Maybe the problem was that today was my birthday, and, in part, we couldn't spend it like a normal family. I didn't mind working on such a special day, but it did bother me when I thought it was my first birthday with Emily.
Very reluctantly, I decided to start my day, trying not to let my bad mood consume me. As soon as I set foot on the floor, I adjusted the sheets to cover my girlfriend, taking the utmost care not to wake her. Nights with our daughter were exasperating, and I didn't know how Y/N managed to be at one hundred percent during team meetings, press conferences, free practice sessions, qualifying and the race, and especially the briefings and all the data analysis her job entailed.
I trained with Eddie for just an hour and a half. According to him, my birthday present was a less strict training session; even so, we ran a lap around the block where the hotel was located, and then we went straight to the gym.
At half-past seven in the morning, to my good fortune, he told me I could go back to my room to get ready for that Friday.
I entered as quickly as I could, being very careful because it was still quite early, and I assumed my girls would be resting. Deep down, I knew that wasn't going to be the case, so I wasn't surprised to see Y/N, still in her pyjamas, walking back and forth while breastfeeding Emily and trying to eat a piece of toast.
“God!” She quickly swallowed the bite and pretended she hadn't been eating. I couldn't help but laugh at how cute the scene seemed to me. “I'm so sorry, Seb. I had ordered breakfast to be brought up and ready for when you came, but I was so hungry and wasn't sure when Eddie would let you go today…”
I shook my head and approached her. I left a short kiss on her lips and then placed another on my daughter's forehead.
“Happy birthday, sunshine,” she said, wrapping her free arm around me. “How many birthdays have we spent together now? Eight?”
“Seven,” I corrected her, remembering we didn’t get to spend the 2008 one together. “And I hope there will be more because I'm not going to let you get rid of me anytime soon.”
“Do you really think I'm going to get rid of you so soon? In case you don't remember, we not only work together: we also share a house, a cat, a daughter, and we're going to have a dog…”
After that last part, Y/N let out a small scream and covered her mouth with her hand.
If I was the one who could keep secrets perfectly, Y/N Y/L/N was the complete opposite.
“What do you mean by a dog, Y/N?”
“Oh, well, I don't know… I must have mixed up some conversation I had with Aristella about Cherry,” her nerves were quite noticeable. “I got confused, and…”
“Y/N, I know you perfectly, and I know when you're lying to me. What did you mean by we’re going to have a dog?”
Given my insistence and, why not say it, the poker face I probably had, my girlfriend sighed. She placed Emily in the crib next to our bed and, while asking me to sit down and start having breakfast, took her mobile phone and immersed herself in it.
“Well, you see…” she began, sitting in front of me and taking a strawberry in her hands. “Since you adopted Vanilla as a surprise for me, I've been thinking that I would like to do the same for you, but between the chaotic 2013 we had and Emily's birth, I found it a bit impossible. It's also true that it's something I would like to discuss before doing it because it's a matter that depends not only on me but also on you,” she clarified.
“And that means…?”
“Forget it, Seb. It doesn't matter. I haven't told you anything, okay? Forget it.”
It bothered me to see her so indecisive, though it didn’t stop me from finding her idea quite endearing deep down. I knew she was nervous; the constant fiddling with the napkin and her flushed cheeks were proof of that.
“Do you want to adopt a dog?” I asked her, loud and clear.
“It’s not that I want to adopt a dog. Well, I do, but…” she sighed, stopped eating breakfast, and looked at me directly. “The thing is, I know you’d like to have a dog, and you’ve had that idea in your head for quite some time, so I thought that, only if you want, we could adopt one,” she finally explained.
“Do you want to wait until we get back home? If you want, we can talk to Michael and have him recommend…”
“No, no, not at all! I’ve already talked to Lewis about it, and he’s informed me,” she hastened to clarify. “Since I wanted to do all this, if possible, today, I asked him where he adopted Roscoe and Coco. I thought today was the perfect day for the adoption because it’s your birthday,” she repeated.
I nodded as I got up and headed towards Emily’s crib, who had started crying once more.
“I mean, all this is only if you want, of course,” Y/N spoke again. Before I could respond, she interrupted me once more. “But if you want, we can do it when we get back home. I don’t mind, except I wouldn’t have another birthday present to give you…”
Still holding the baby in my arms, I approached her and silenced her with a long, slow kiss, one I took my time with but received no complaints about, quite the opposite.
Y/N always went out of her way with gifts, even during times when her finances weren't the best. I much preferred her giving me something symbolic over an expensive whim.
So, the fact that she wanted to adopt a dog today, as my birthday present, made this thing I had wanted for so long even more special. Plus, thinking that Emily would grow up with the new member of the family made it a thousand times better.
“If my girl says it’s happening today, then we should follow her lead,” I finished saying. “What time do you think we’ll be done with everything we have to do today?”
[...]
“I hope there aren’t too many people, because if Britta finds out we’re doing all this without telling her…”
“Y/N, relax. If there’s any problem or anything, I’ll handle the press. Besides, it’s not like they don’t know me: remember I adopted Roscoe and Coco there, so they know me quite well.”
Lewis had decided to come with us to, according to him, ensure his friends received proper treatment. Deep down, I knew it was because he didn’t want to see Aristella, Britta’s niece and Y/N's best friend, hanging around Rosberg even while they were in the middle of their divorce process.
Hamilton’s concern for the girl wasn’t just something a friend would have, and I knew he was fully aware of that.
“Do you have something in mind, Seb?”
Lewis’s voice snapped me out of my trance.
“Sorry, what?”
“If you’ve thought of a name for the dog,” the dark-haired man spoke again. “I hope it’s something different from the usual. You know, the world has too many Tobys and all those common dog name variants.”
“If we’re talking about giving common names to pets, Seb is your guy,” Y/N spoke now, almost shouting. “When he adopted Vanilla just to get me to move in with him, he told me Garfield was a better name. Garfield, like the cartoon cat! If that’s not common…”
“What do you want to call an orange cat, Y/N? Vanilla? I remind you that you wanted to name her Cheeto…”
“Because she looked like a Cheeto and I thought it was a male!” she retorted. “Later, when I realised she was female and not so orange, I named her Vanilla.”
“Vanilla, I like it. It’s an… interesting name,” Lewis intervened. “Can I ask why you named her like that?”
“Y/N's favourite ice cream flavour is vanilla. That, and if you add the fact that cats are her favourite animal…” I answered in her place.
I saw Y/N's lips curve slightly in the rear-view mirror.
Then, she turned around and put a hand on my leg, stroking it.
“I hope you find the perfect name for the new family member, love. Even if it’s the same as every other dog in the world,” she said ironically.
After those words, I realised we had arrived at the shelter Lewis Hamilton seemed to admire so much.
The Brit, as he guided us towards what appeared to be the entrance, commented that we should be careful with Emily, not because the furry ones were aggressive, but because they got very excited when they had visitors, especially if they were children.
A dark-skinned woman with completely dark hair was at the door, as if she had been waiting for us for a while. Lewis gave her a hug and immediately introduced us.
“These are Sebastian Vettel, his girlfriend Y/N, and their daughter, Emily.”
She gave us a smile, and I saw she intended to shake our hands until she saw our little one. She approached to dote on her as soon as Y/N gave her permission with a glance. Emily’s laughter began to fill the room, and she started to move cheerfully in Y/N's arms.
“I’m so sorry for my lack of manners, but when I see such a beautiful baby like this little one…” the woman began to say, still playing with the child. Then, she cleared her throat and looked at both of us. “Nice to meet you, couple,” she finally shook our hands. “I’m Jade, and well, I’ve been a volunteer at this shelter since time immemorial, back in the prehistoric times.”
“Don’t say that, Jade! You look wonderful,” Lewis told her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
“Don’t be so flattering, young man,” she chided him. “I appreciate all kinds of compliments for my age, but that’s not why we’re here. Well, tell me: if I’m not mistaken, and as your friend here has told me, you want to expand your family, right?”
Now she was looking intently at both of us. I nodded in response; at the same time, and by inertia, my right arm wrapped around my girlfriend’s waist, which made Emily start reaching out her little arms to come to me.
“Today is Seb’s birthday, and he’s been wanting to adopt a dog for quite some time,” my girlfriend explained.
“Oh, the adoption is a birthday gift!” Jade exclaimed, beginning to clap and approaching me quickly to give me a hug that I gladly accepted. “Happy birthday, dear! How old are you now?”
“Twenty-eight.”
“Oh, dear. If I could be that age again…”
I smiled at her response as Y/N handed me Emily, who had started babbling to come to me.
“A daddy’s girl, I see, huh?” Jade chimed in. Y/N was about to answer, but before she could even do so, the woman was already speaking again. “Well, since it’s your birthday, I think I have the perfect gift for you.”
Without saying anything more, the woman gestured for us to follow her, and we did. We passed through several areas with dogs of different ages roaming freely, who approached us to sniff and perhaps convince us to adopt them.
Lewis mentioned that some of them were related to Coco. I laughed at the supposed joke, which stopped being a joke when Jade confirmed it. Y/N lagged behind a few times because she stopped to play with the dogs that approached her, which were quite a few. Emily and I, however, kept a brisk pace, possibly eager to find out what the woman was talking about and why she was being so mysterious.
Finally, we arrived at a kind of room with less light than I expected and, to my surprise, full of what seemed to be soft little beds. On top of them, not only was there a dog lying down that seemed quite tired, but there were also several puppies nursing from her.
Jade indicated before we entered that we should remain silent.
“One of our dogs gave birth last night,” she told us. “I don’t want to give all her puppies up for adoption since I’d like at least one to stay with her, but considering that the puppies and you share a birthday, I’d be delighted if you adopted one of them.”
I opened my eyes wide and couldn’t say anything. Next to me, Y/N seemed to have reacted the same way I did.
Saying we were surprised would be an understatement.
“But… are you serious?” my girlfriend commented, still in surprise.
“Of course, dears!” the woman responded cheerfully. “The only issue, so to speak, though it’s not really a problem, is that it’ll take about a month and a half before you can take him home. You know, the separation process from the mother is crucial.”
“No problem, really. We’ll wait as long as it takes,” I finally spoke. “Besides, I think we have a break around that time, right?”
“Yes, about a month,” Lewis replied.
“We’ve already got our vacation destination, sunshine,” Y/N said to me, apparently much more excited than I was.
“Now, I need you to tell me something important: which one of them do you want to be your little girl’s new brother?”
Still holding Emily, Y/N and I carefully approached the puppies.
To our eyes, they all looked exactly the same. We couldn’t see their eyes, but I was almost convinced they would be similar to the colour of their fur, a light brown skin similar to beach sand. They were huddled together and didn’t seem to be doing anything other than trying to nurse for as long as possible.
“Do you know what breed or mix they are?” Y/N asked the lady with that characteristic curiosity of hers.
“If I remember correctly, their mother is a golden retriever and their father, a big labrador.”
My girlfriend thanked her, turning towards her and leaving Emily by herself for a moment. At that point, seemingly unaware that her mother wasn't watching her every move, the little one began to crawl towards the puppies. Instinctively, I quickly scooped her up in my arms to prevent her from doing so. However, she didn't seem to give up: she started kicking until, just like that, I brought her a little closer to the furry animals.
While Y/N and Lewis chatted with Jade, I remained seated on the floor next to my daughter, who seemed to have settled on a particular puppy. I tried shifting her gaze from side to side, attempting to get her to notice the rest of them, but it seemed the one farthest from its mother had caught her attention the most.
“I think Emily has chosen who’s going to be her adopted sibling, hasn’t she?” I remarked.
As soon as I said that, the three of them turned towards me, crouching down to my level. Emily was still engrossed with that little one and seemed to continue being so until we left.
“Have you chosen for Daddy, Emi?” Y/N asked, almost lying on the floor to join the game that Emily was playing with the one who seemed to be our new child. “Do you want this to be your new little brother? Or sister, of course.”
“He's a boy, actually,” Jade intervened. “And, if I’m honest and don't recall incorrectly, he’s the oldest of the whole litter.”
“Do you want to adopt this little one then, sunshine? Honestly, if you’re not convinced we can wait a bit…” Y/N whispered as if wanting it to be a secret between us.
“Clifford,” I suddenly blurted out.
They looked at me as if they had seen a ghost. Of course, I would act the same if someone dropped a name out of nowhere in a situation like this.
“I want to name him Clifford,” I clarified. “Remember the series about that big red dog you told me you watched with your sisters when they were little?” I asked my girlfriend, who nodded. “Well, if I remember correctly, you told me that the main character of the series, who was also the owner of the dog, was named Emily.”
“What’s that got to do with it, love?” she asked, curious. Did she really not know why I had suggested that name?
“Well, it just so happens that your daughter is named Emily and she seems to have chosen for us.”
Y/N’s eyes lit up and widened exaggeratedly. I swear I saw them get a little misty when she finally seemed to understand what I meant. Immediately, she stood up, took the baby in her arms, and began to talk to her while they played as if they were the only ones in the room.
“I guess I already have a birthday present, right?” I asked the redhead, standing beside her and giving her a kiss on the forehead and another to our daughter.
“Emily and Clifford…” she murmured. “I like it. I love it, actually.”
“Well, I hope that when we have the next baby, I can nail it in the same way.”
Jade, after the last sentence that I had just said, was left dumbfounded. Lewis, for his part, tried to turn a deaf ear and, instead, told me that they would be waiting for us at the entrance to do all the necessary paperwork, not without whispering to me in the least blatant way possible that he hoped that this would be my other birthday present.
Obviously, he deserved a well-deserved punch from Y/N.
“Are you already thinking about the next baby, love? Emily hasn’t even turned one yet!”
“I always think about the second baby, to be honest,” I replied. I was convinced, and I knew as well as she did that we had barely laid the foundations of our family. “A puppy brother for Emily is fine, but a human one would be a thousand times better. Don’t you think so?”
Y/N rolled her eyes and turned away, heading towards the shelter entrance. I quickly caught up with her, and her laughter filled my ears.
“If you're already thinking about our second baby, then we'll have to listen to Lewis and start practising tonight before dinner with my parents,” she suggested.
Her mischievous look infected me, and I couldn’t help but return it.
“As the birthday boy, I vote for squeezing in a free practice session before dinner with my parents tonight. How does that sound?”
“Whatever you wish, birthday boy,” she replied. “But I hope you come up with a good enough excuse for them not to suspect anything when we arrive late, and also when you ask if they can keep Emily overnight.”

The Stream
Part 1: Awakening
Warning: OOC, inaccurate character representation, possibly inaccurate workplace, Imposter SAGAU, lmk if there's more.
Tumblr media
It's been over 30 hours since Genshin went down, and there was still no news from Mihoyo about it getting back online. The players were looking for ways to entertain themselves. The out of game community was growing in terms of activity due to how long this crash was.
With it being over a day, players are still hopeful on it being resolved soon, but our starting to get concerned about the lack of an official response from the devs about it getting back online soon, with the only response being that the game experienced a major error with a new patch, and they were working to get it fixed.
That is what Jason knew. He, his other friends, Olivia and Jack, and his sister, Jasmine, have been browsing Reddit, Twitch, Tumblr, and Twitter for any info on the game going back. And it's not like they could go through the files to try and figure out what's causing this, cause their friend, Y/N, haven't responded to their messages ever since this whole thing begun.
You've made some mods for your friends, ranging from new enemies, to better chances at rolls, and even a new nation you were working on, unlike those of Earth's past, which was oddly similar to the Telaki culture that was seen combined with Inazuma before the crash. When you were asked about it, you weren't sure if they were serious or joking, with you only realizing the truth upon being shown an image of the new Inazuma, which had you baffled.
Right now, the group is currently on a discord call, browsing various social media platforms, ranging from Twitch to Twitter, looking for answers that could possibly explain the shutdown. "Anything yet?" asked Jasmine, "Nothing." He replied, not finding anything of use on Twitch.
Most of the streams there were of the lore that was dropped, as well as some interviews with the voice actors, with a few of the streams being scam streams. As he kept browsing Twitch, he noticed a new stream, called "The Hunt", about to start soon.
"Huh." Jason says, a little intrigued at the title. "What is it?" Asked Jack, curious on Jason's thoughts. "Just an odd title of a stream starting soon." He said, going to the profile, only to see nothing there.
"What the?" He says, confused on the lack of account. "What is it?" Olivia asked. "There's no account!" Jason yelled, reloading the page to still find no account there. "Really?", "No way", "Are you sure?", they say, unconvinced. "Yes I'm sure. I'll send you guys the link." He says, copying the link and posting it to their chat.
A few seconds later, disbelief rang throughout the call. "What the??" "How is this possible?" "This is live soon, wtf?" Were some of the things said by the group.
"Alright then." Jason said once everyone calmed down. "It's evident that this stream is odd, with it having no account broadcasting it. It says that it's going to start soon, so do we watch this, or keep browsing?" Jason asks, taking note of their choices.
"Sure" "Why not." "Okay." The group says, all clicking on the stream, waiting for it to start.
------------------------------------------------------------
The developer offices were in a more chaotic state. Ever since the sudden shutdown, they haven't been able to save any of the changes they made to their game, with any change made causing the game to crash the game engine, and in some cases where heavier changes were applied, the computer itself.
One notable effect being reported across the board was the inhabitants of Teyvat all being alive, regardless of the game being run or not, with something akin to a temple being built near Liyue, as well as the NPC's all worshiping a new one called "The Creator", who didn't look like any Mihoyo employees when cross referenced with their employee data base, crossing out any conspiracy by them for the mean time despite suspioins remaining.
These problems were what Robert Lin was dealing with. Ever since the game went down, he and other development team leaders have been doing double time in order to find the root of this crash, or as he and some of the others were thinking, cyber attack.
Right now, he was in a call with several other game developer team leaders and a supervisor about any progress as of now, with it happening on a laptop at his supervisor's request, for the ability to see developments should they occur during a meeting.
"It's been 30 hours and we still have nothing?!" A disgruntled voice yells over the speakers of his office. The voice comes from Chang's Lao, his supervisor from China. "Sir, all attempts to change it have been unable to be saved, with even attempts to revert to old versions failing." Came the voice of his colleague, Elise Toutain, who oversaw the developers in France and led the development of Fontaine.
"What do you mean, unable to revert!?" Came Chang's enraged calls. "You developers are the only ones that have access to our projects, or are you gonna tell me an intern at Unity screwed us over??!!" He yells, before taking a deep breath, looking at them.
"What of this, "creator", that the NPC's are worshiping? What do we know about them?" He asks, seemingly trying to change the topic.
"From what we've seen," came the response of Higa Azami, head of the Japanese branch and lead developer of Inazuma, "it seems to be manipulating the game to its will in light ways, in the form of giving visions to NPC's who were previously visionless in the game files and strengthening characters that show loyalty to it. However, the land, animals, and monsters around it seem to freeze up around it, with it attacking the monsters and animals around it with each in game element, purplish abyssal energy beams, and golden pillars." She says, taking a deep breath before continuing.
"The spared go berserk, attacking all in sight before dying. She finishes, looking back at Chang, seeking a further response. Chang goes ahead and takes a sip of tea before looking at the dev leads.
"Has there been any other developments besides the undeveloped lands being added?"He asks, double checking for any new events.
That was another major change. The Snezhnaya, Khaenri'ah, the Abyss, and Celestia were added when the game went down.
Snezhnaya was mostly in development, with developers only recently starting to add buildings into it, with some debates about building placement in the nation wrapping up.
Khaenri'ah was still in the drafts, with many major buildings still being drawn, with the general area of the nation now being just being a wasteland, mainly inhabited by Hilichurls and Abyss mages. Danisleaf had been seen waging war against the Abyss Order, led by the abyss twin, Lumine.
The Abyss follows its namesake, just an empty void, filled with floating islands where enemies that were both already seen and monstrous entities that haven't been planned or scrapped on some of these islands.
Unlike the rest of Teyvat, the developers were unable to get a view of Celestia, with all attempts ending in their computers crashing and needing to be reset.
The best they have been able to do is map out it's approximate area, with it being around the size of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma and the wilderness in between, on the ocean east of the game's mainland.
"There is one sir." Came the voice of Safar Naser, the lead Sumeru developer and head of the Egyptian branch. "We've been browsing the files and found the files carrying the "Creators" attacks, with each attack being heavily layered upon their in-game energy." He says, doing air quotations upon saying creator.
"However, the computers used to identify them were overheating, needing to be reset. When reopened, the files for the attacks were moved elsewhere, currently unknown." He says, taking a deep breath before continuing.
"It's highly likely that these attacks, and this Creator as a result, are playing a critical part in this virus or is the embodiment of this virus. We're double checking our firewalls and attempting to identify the virus's origin." He finishes, looking at Chang.
Cheng takes a deep breath, seemingly in deep. The devs wait for a response. "Have me notified of any future developments." He says, formulating a plan.
"For now, continue observing the game. Work with each other to identify any possible inconsistencies in between versions. I will be contacting Liu Wei about this. It's possible that this virus will spread to other games, so expect contact from the other dev teams. I would recommend hiring observers in the meantime so you can keep a wa-" the door to Roberts office is slammed open with an intern, Wyatt Icnez, his tags read, being the one responsible. "Sir!" He screamed, catching his breath.
Robert responded to the employee, having been startled by him. "Wyatt, this better be a development, if not-"
"That's the thing sir." He says, taking deep breaths. "There's another creator, and the system says that they're a player."
------------------------------------------------------------
You thought you slept on a weird side of the couch when you were unable to find the usual comfort of the surface when you awoke.
Moving around, you still were unable to find it. 'Why is this so unco-' your thoughts froze as you felt the coolness of water.
Expecting to be dumped somewhere with it, you quickly awoke, and got away from the coolness, determined to stay dry.
It was only then that you realized that you didn't know where you were, yet this place bore a striking resemblance to a few beaches in Teyvat.
'Okay, this is some weird shit.' You think to yourself, going to run your eyes when you notice your hands.
They bore resemblance to the styles that ran in Mihoyo's games.
Being a little freaked out by this, you decide to go ahead and pinch yourself in the slightest bit of hope that this was some new evolution or a dream.
To your horror, you felt it. 'Okay, okay, just take deep breaths' you thought to yourself, realizing you somehow got Isekaied to Genshin.
Deciding to try and focus on something else and delay the breakdown of being in Teyvat, you walk up the path, heading away from the beach, where you came across a cliff, where you had to climb.
That's when you realized that you were in Mondstadt. As you began climbing, you felt the rocks get easier to climb. While thinking about what to do there, your thoughts turned to a small concern, to the SAGAU fanfic, specifically the imposter ones.
You shook those off, thinking they were mere superstitions, wandering into Starfell lake. Unaware of those there.
As you wander through the lake, you take in the landscape of the forest. 'This is beautiful.' You think to yourself, going to pick up a flower. As you pick and smell it, something is heard from behind you. Before you could react, a sharp pain pierces you on the back shoulder.
Looking at your back, you're horrified to find that you've been shot in the back with an arrow, looking at the origin of the shot, you expected a Hillichurl to be attacking you, only to find your attacker to be Amber.
Only then did you realize,
You were being hunted.

POV: Lando
It wasn’t the noise of the track that got to him.
He was used to that, used to the roar of engines, the sharp commands over radio, the choreographed chaos of pit walls and team briefings. But lately, the silence between the noise felt heavier.
Lando sat alone in the back corner of the team hospitality suite, a water bottle untouched in front of him as engineers huddled at another table, reviewing telemetry data. He was supposed to join them five minutes ago.
His head throbbed.
Part of it was exhaustion. The rest? Guilt, confusion, fear, emotions that didn’t slot neatly into spreadsheets or tire strategies.
He pulled out his phone again.
No new messages.
He hadn’t texted her since she stopped replying last night. Part of him wanted to give her space. The other part, the stubborn, panicked, disbelieving part, still wrestled with the weight of her words from that quiet parking lot.
“I’m pregnant.”
“It’s yours.”
He wanted to believe her. God, a part of him did. But something in his brain, the logical, skeptical, broken-bit-of-him part, kept whispering: What if it’s not?
What if she was playing him? What if Luca really was involved? What if—
He stood up, too fast.
Oscar caught him on his way out. “Where you going?”
“Air,” Lando muttered. “Need some air.”
He found it out back, on a narrow fire escape with a view of the harbor. The wind off the water hit his face and cleared some of the fog, but not all of it.
He thought about her again. The way her hands had trembled. The way she’d looked at him, not like someone trying to trap him, but someone bracing for impact.
She wasn’t lying.
He could feel it. And still… the thought of Luca, the fact that they knew each other, it gnawed at him. It made him feel like an idiot.
“Stop thinking like that,” he muttered to himself. “She didn’t ask for anything.”
That was the part that unsettled him most. She hadn’t demanded money. She hadn’t threatened headlines. She hadn’t even asked him to stay.
She just told him the truth, and braced for him to walk away.
And he almost had.
He reached for his phone again and typed a contact into a secure group chat he rarely used.
Lando: Need a private referral. Someone discreet. Monaco-based OB or clinic. No PR risk.
He stared at the message.
Then hit send.
If she really was pregnant, if this really was his, then hiding wasn’t an option anymore.
POV: (Y/n)
It had become harder to hide.
Not just the nausea or the food aversions, but the fatigue. The constant thirst. The way her lower back ached if she stood too long in one position.
(Y/n) moved slowly behind the counter, pretending to adjust a jewelry display while secretly pressing a hand to her side. She hadn’t slept well, not because of discomfort, but because of replaying the same moment again and again.
Lando’s face. His doubt. His question.
“Are you sure it’s mine?”
The words still sat on her chest like bricks.
She had almost walked out. Would have, if he hadn’t stopped her, voice low, eyes unsteady, asking her to let him help. Not promising much. Just asking.
Still, it stung.
“You good?” Amara asked as she walked by, voice low.
“Yeah,” (Y/n) lied.
Amara didn’t push. She only placed a protein bar in front of her and kept walking.
Carla was near the window, scanning through Instagram reels with the brightness turned down. “You know,” she said casually, “McLaren just posted a video of Lando walking into the paddock this morning. He looked like he hadn’t slept in a week.”
(Y/n) didn’t react.
Carla peeked over her shoulder. “Girl, I’m not trying to stir the pot. But if he’s acting off, and you’re acting off... maybe you should actually talk again.”
“We did talk,” (Y/n) muttered, pressing a hand to her belly briefly. She was around eight weeks now. Still early, still in the danger zone, but she could feel things shifting. The tenderness, the small fluttering changes in her core.
Carla hummed. “You sure he’s ready for this?”
“No one’s ready for this.”
Amara passed by again, muttering, “Especially not the media. So whatever you do, don’t open Twitter.”
(Y/n) looked up. “What now?”
Carla’s grin vanished. “It’s... just gossip. People wondering who the girl in the McLaren paddock photo is. Some fans think you’re a cousin or team intern. Others are already pairing you two in edits.”
“Seriously?”
“Yep. Welcome to F1 TikTok.”
(Y/n) sighed and leaned against the wall. “I just wanted a quiet life.”
Amara handed her a chilled bottle of ginger tea. “Well, now you’ve got a fast one.”
(Y/n) took a sip. The boutique felt suddenly too bright, too loud. The chime over the door rang again, just a customer. Not him.
Still, part of her hoped.
POV: Lando
Back at his apartment, Lando’s phone buzzed.
Referral confirmed. Appointment slot held next week. Private. No press.
He exhaled.
Then sent a message to (Y/n):
Lando: Got us a place. Private. Clean. No attention. You don’t have to decide now—but it’s yours if you want it.
There was a pause.
Then her reply:
(Y/n): Thank you.
And then, a minute later:
(Y/n): I’m scared, Lando.
He stared at that one the longest.
Then wrote back:
Lando: Me too. But I’m not running anymore.
To be continued... 🧡

How to actually install Fallout London properly in one go:
This is a guide I slapped together after getting annoyed at having to reference the Discord's "Solutions" tab on how to install the mod properly after having to uninstall and reinstall everything after all the textures mysteriously vanished, despite the mod coming with its own installer.
This Mod is a lot of fun, but you should definitely go into it with the mindset that this is a "beta release", because there are a ton of bugs and crashes.
NOTE: This Mod will completely overwrite your base game. You will not be able to play the base game and this mod at the same time unless you have multiple computers or something. If you want to play the base game again, you will have to completely uninstall Fallout London and Fallout 4 and fresh install Fallout 4.
0) Download the "Fallout4.ini" and "Fallout4prefs.ini" files from the offial discord linked above.
1) Install Fallout 4 GOTY from GOG in C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games
2) Install Fallout London From GOG in C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games
3) Open Fallout London's either in Fallout London Folder ("Launch Fallout - London") or GOG Galaxy ("play")
4) From the Fallout London launcher, select "Update", and choose "Install" and Install it in C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games/Fallout 4 GOTY
5) Once Fallout London has installed in your Fallout 4 Folder, Open the "Data" Folder in C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games/Fallout 4 GOTY , and Delete all entries beginning with "cc" at the begining of the name. Go back one folder so you are in Fallout 4 GOTY and keep the tab open.
6) Open at least three tabs in your File Explorer, for ease.
7) In the first tab, open your Fallout London Folder located in C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games.
8) In the second tab, go to C:Users/[yourname]/Documents/My Games/Fallout 4.
9) In the third tab, go to C:users[yourname]/AppData/Local/Fallout 4.
10) Select your Fallout London tab, and copy the folder named "_Config" to /Documents/My Games/Fallout 4.
11) Select your Fallout London tab, and copy the folder named "_AppData" to AppData/Local/Fallout 4.
12) Select your Fallout London tab, and copy the "Data" folder into your Fallout 4 GOTY tab; select "override" if prompted.
13) Open this link, and download the Buffout 4 mod:
Once it is installed, unzip the folder, and copy the "F4SE" folder into your C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games/Fallout 4 GOTY folder.
14) In your Fallout 4 GOTY folder, open "Fallout4Launcher" and under settings, make sure your graphics are set to low if they are not already; under Advanced, you can also turn off Ambient Occlusion as well. Save your settings, and close the launcher.
15) Copy the "Fallout4.ini" and "Fallout4prefs.ini" files from your downloads to "Documents/My Games/Fallout 4". Overwrite if prompted.
16) Restart your computer to ensure everything runs smoothly.
17) Open C:/GOG/GOG Galaxy/Games/Fallout 4 GOTY (I suggest pinning this file-explorer tab to your file explorer for quick access) and Launch the game Via "f4se_loader.exe" , NOT the Fallout4.exe. You will always use the "F4SE_loader.exe" to open this mod.
18) There should be a custom opening as well as custom music. Start a New Game, and cross your fingers it doesn't immediately crash.
19) Save Often, and do NOT overwrite old saves.
20) Have fun!

Christopher Ren does a solid Elon Musk impression.
Ren is a product manager at Reality Defender, a company that makes tools to combat AI disinformation. During a video call last week, I watched him use some viral GitHub code and a single photo to generate a simplistic deepfake of Elon Musk that maps onto his own face. This digital impersonation was to demonstrate how the startup’s new AI detection tool could work. As Ren masqueraded as Musk on our video chat, still frames from the call were actively sent over to Reality Defender’s custom model for analysis, and the company’s widget on the screen alerted me to the fact that I was likely looking at an AI-generated deepfake and not the real Elon.
Sure, I never really thought we were on a video call with Musk, and the demonstration was built specifically to make Reality Defender's early-stage tech look impressive, but the problem is entirely genuine. Real-time video deepfakes are a growing threat for governments, businesses, and individuals. Recently, the chairman of the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations mistakenly took a video call with someone pretending to be a Ukrainian official. An international engineering company lost millions of dollars earlier in 2024 when one employee was tricked by a deepfake video call. Also, romance scams targeting everyday individuals have employed similar techniques.
“It's probably only a matter of months before we're going to start seeing an explosion of deepfake video, face-to-face fraud,” says Ben Colman, CEO and cofounder at Reality Defender. When it comes to video calls, especially in high-stakes situations, seeing should not be believing.
The startup is laser-focused on partnering with business and government clients to help thwart AI-powered deepfakes. Even with this core mission, Colman doesn’t want his company to be seen as more broadly standing against artificial intelligence developments. “We're very pro-AI,” he says. “We think that 99.999 percent of use cases are transformational—for medicine, for productivity, for creativity—but in these kinds of very, very small edge cases the risks are disproportionately bad.”
Reality Defender’s plan for the real-time detector is to start with a plug-in for Zoom that can make active predictions about whether others on a video call are real or AI-powered impersonations. The company is currently working on benchmarking the tool to determine how accurately it discerns real video participants from fake ones. Unfortunately, it’s not something you’ll likely be able to try out soon. The new software feature will only be available in beta for some of the startup’s clients.
This announcement is not the first time a tech company has shared plans to help spot real-time deepfakes. In 2022, Intel debuted its FakeCatcher tool for deepfake detection. The FakeCatcher is designed to analyze changes in a face’s blood flow to determine whether a video participant is real. Intel’s tool is also not publicly available.
Academic researchers are also looking into different approaches to address this specific kind of deepfake threat. “These systems are becoming so sophisticated to create deepfakes. We need even less data now,” says Govind Mittal, a computer science PhD candidate at New York University. “If I have 10 pictures of me on Instagram, somebody can take that. They can target normal people.”
Real-time deepfakes are no longer limited to billionaires, public figures, or those who have extensive online presences. Mittal’s research at NYU, with professors Chinmay Hegde and Nasir Memon, proposes a potential challenge-based approach to blocking AI-bots from video calls, where participants would have to pass a kind of video CAPTCHA test before joining.
As Reality Defender works to improve the detection accuracy of its models, Colman says that access to more data is a critical challenge to overcome—a common refrain from the current batch of AI-focused startups. He’s hopeful more partnerships will fill in these gaps, and without specifics, hints at multiple new deals likely coming next year. After ElevenLabs was tied to a deepfake voice call of US president Joe Biden, the AI-audio startup struck a deal with Reality Defender to mitigate potential misuse.
What can you do right now to protect yourself from video call scams? Just like WIRED’s core advice about avoiding fraud from AI voice calls, not getting cocky about whether you can spot video deepfakes is critical to avoid being scammed. The technology in this space continues to evolve rapidly, and any telltale signs you rely on now to spot AI deepfakes may not be as dependable with the next upgrades to underlying models.
“We don't ask my 80-year-old mother to flag ransomware in an email,” says Colman. “Because she's not a computer science expert.” In the future, it’s possible real-time video authentication, if AI detection continues to improve and shows to be reliably accurate, will be as taken for granted as that malware scanner quietly humming along in the background of your email inbox.

I think you're confusing (or more like generalising i guess) ai with generative ai. Which is something a lot of people are doing. As a computer science graduate, I agree that generative AI is bullshit. It's used to scam people, a lot of people use chat gpt and literally stop thinking on their own, and you're right that using it to create art, of all the things, is lazy af. And it uses a lot of water and energy, yes. And I'm very much against it, too. when i hear someone at work talk about using chat gpt, i roll my eyes, because yikes. But it's important to note that the generative AI is only a branch of all AI. You can have ai without stealing other people's work and data, you can have your own datasets to train your model to do whatever you need. Ai can be good in medicine (eg detecting cancer cells) or extracting text from images (like scanned documents) or categorising data from big datasets. And it's only 3 examples out of many many more. The generative ai tools became a thing within the last 2-3 years. Ai was being developed and used for years before that with a lot of hopes about it. My point is, not all ai is bad but the big companies made the general population think that ai = chat gpt. And chat gpt, while technically having a potential for being a great tool, is based on stolen data, uses too many resources and basically makes people more stupid. So yeah, when you get angry about the use of ai, get angry, but not at ai as a whole but at generative ai and those who push it (aka the big companies who get more rich from brainwashing people)
good point. i went for generative AI without even specifying beyond my examples because that's the AI we're talking about, that's the AI Adobe and Opera are pushing via sponsorships as well.
i was thinking about medicine but i don't have anything to back it up, so i didn't mention it. also, there are cons in AI used in medicine too. there are cons in using AI in general. so, is it "all good"? no. frankly, not "all bad" either. so, fair point. i'm sure some engineering is also using AI, but i don't have examples of its performance.

imperare sibi maximum imperium est ramblings: Telman Edition
mostly related to this post (the news from the Pathologic Fest Day 1, From the Other Side)
Okay, okay. (vibrates a little) So, I have seen Telmans who were legitimate professors. I like the headcanon that he is the de jure head of Thanatica, since Daniil was too young to get any respect or legal authority (obviously, Dankovsky is the de facto leader). I also enjoy the headcanon that Telman is an obstructive bureaucrat - making Dankovsky's life harder every damn time, such as having blackmail material about him being trans, inventing HRT, or performing abortions in secret. A Telman being a liaison between the lab and the authorities/TPTB/Inquisitors is also compelling.
Now, for my 22nd century Thanatica AU, I go to another, and very noncanon direction. I present to you a Telman who is just Elongated Muskrat. Vector Tech (or maybe I might rename it Upward Vector, or a variation on that. I am shaking in excitement here.) is a technological company made to realize the sci-fi dreams of its trillionaire "founder" (who bought it from probably legitimate businesspeople and engineers). It is fitting that in a universe where teleporters are a viable transportation method, deepfaked news is commonplace, physical media is almost dead, old movies have to be pirated because the publishers pulled it out of print, and water coolers have timers to prevent workplace chats and unionization, Telman's dreams would 10000% include an invention that has been tried and failed multiple times: mind-uploading. And Thanatica actually did it!
The excerpt from that post reads like so: (this is a rough draft)
Is this the end for Thanatica Labs? THE CAPITAL, 1 OCTOBER 2165 Daniil Dankovsky, founder of Thanatica Laboratories and lead scientist of the first successful mind-uploading device AVA Project, has once again declined an offer of cooperation from a multinational company. The cooperation deal by Vector Tech, which would have netted Dankovsky a record XXX billion, would have Thanatica Labs give away their exclusive rights to the AVA blueprints and let the company build new AVA units with a tiered subscription program. "We regret that the deal couldn’t be done," Mr. Telman, CEO of Vector Tech, has gone on record to say. "It’s a shame that Thanatica hoards all their progress under Dankovsky’s influence. Our company would have brought your AVA to the whole world! What kind of scientist are you?" When requested for an interview, Dr. Dankovsky responded, “Thanatica has, and will always, stand with ethical practices. We are scientists who would not gate one’s life behind paywalls. The deal would have made a version of AVA with proprietary Vector Tech operating system, which has gone on record to sell people’s data to third parties, including intelligence agencies. Would you want data submitted the AVA, which would contain your most vulnerable memories, to be sold to the highest bidder? Would you want targeted advertisements in your brain? Moreover, the deal also mentioned using the subscription programs to access certain memories or even brain functions, which meant you could randomly forget the most important moments in your life, or even forget how to solve a crossword, just because you are a little short on money.” Vector Tech has not responded to an interview request.
Thanatica and Vector Tech might even have beef dating back a few years. Imagine if the whistleblowing incident of 2163 also involved Telman's company (as in, a whistleblower from there) - although, I imagine it would be a different company, since, if Dankovsky has fucked them up before through the incident, why would he try again to get the rights to the Ad Vitam Aeternam (AVA) Project?
Okay, maybe if he is truly based on Elon Musk, maybe he just... doesn't have the good sense to avoid bothering Thanatica again. But, on the other hand, why wouldn't he? I think multiple companies would bother Thanatica about the AVA, actually. Mind-uploading is just nuts. It is probably one of the most idealistic and difficult-to-realize science fiction tropes. As of Chapter 11, the fact that Dankovsky has moved to a robotic chassis has not been publicized yet... but when it does, it has to be done wisely, and probably slowly.
That's going to be part of the story too, of course - if you are interested, you can hop on the ride and see the public relations mayhem Thanatica will be subjected to (and subjecting itself to). There is no need to be afraid about missing things, for now - imperare sibi maximum imperium est is extremely slow-paced for now, with its chapters clocking less than 3k words each (some even less than 2k), and it is only beginning. Act 1 isn't even halfway done, and if our physical ability and time allows, there should be more Acts to follow.
So! What do you all think of this Telman and his company? What are you interested in seeing re: the reveal of Dankovsky's survival from the plague? Or do you think other companies should be made here, perhaps using the names of the Inquisitors? I would be highly interested in hearing all your(&) answers. Feel free to reply to this, DM us, send an ask, or even speak your mind in the tags :>

In today’s fast-paced world of data engineering, businesses are continuously seeking ways to streamline their data processes. One revolutionary tool making waves is Ask On Data, the world’s first Open Source GenAI powered chat based Data Engineering tool. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned data professional, Ask On Data simplifies complex tasks and makes data transformations as easy as typing a message.
What is Ask On Data?
Ask On Data is a cutting-edge tool designed to take the hassle out of data engineering. Built using advanced AI and Large Language Models (LLM), it allows users to manage data transformations with ease. It offers two versions: a free open-source version that can be downloaded and deployed on your own servers, and an enterprise version, which functions as a fully managed service. The open-source version makes the tool highly accessible for smaller businesses or those wishing to have control over their data processes, while the enterprise version provides additional features, support, and scalability for larger organizations.
Key Advantages of Using Ask On Data
No Learning Curve: Traditional data engineering tools often require technical expertise, coding knowledge, and significant training. However, with Ask On Data, there is no learning curve. Its AI-powered chat interface simplifies complex data tasks by allowing users to simply type commands in natural language. Whether it’s cleaning, wrangling, or transforming data, Ask On Data understands your commands and executes them accurately and efficiently.
Empowers Non-Technical Users: A major advantage of Ask On Data is its ability to eliminate the need for technical resources. Users no longer need to rely on developers or data engineers to complete everyday data tasks. Whether you're a business analyst or someone without a technical background, you can directly interact with the tool to perform tasks such as data transformations or loading. This significantly reduces bottlenecks and increases productivity across teams.
Quick and Easy Implementation: One of the standout features of Ask On Data is its speed of implementation. Unlike traditional data engineering tools that can take weeks or even months to set up, Ask On Data allows users to perform complex data operations in real-time. Since the tool operates via simple chat commands, the process of integrating it into existing workflows is as fast as typing.
No Technical Knowledge Required: Another compelling advantage of Ask On Data is that it requires no technical knowledge to use. The platform is designed with a user-friendly interface that makes data engineering tasks accessible to anyone, regardless of their technical background. You don’t need to worry about mastering coding languages, understanding databases, or learning complex ETL processes. Instead, you can type your requests in plain language, and Ask On Data’s AI will take care of the rest.
How Ask On Data Works
Ask On Data works by processing natural language input and transforming it into executable actions. When you type a request such as “clean the sales data,” the AI-powered backend interprets the command, analyzes your data, and performs the necessary operations. This could include removing duplicates, handling missing values, or applying specific business rules for data transformation.
Moreover, the tool’s ability to perform data wrangling (like joining datasets or aggregating values) and data loading (to different destinations) makes it an all-in-one solution for various data engineering needs.
Use Cases
Data Transformation: Ask On Data can handle a range of transformation tasks, from simple data cleaning to more complex operations like pivoting, normalizing, and aggregating data.
Data Integration: It supports integration with various data sources and destinations, helping businesses move and merge data across platforms seamlessly.
Data Monitoring and Validation: The platform can be used to set up monitoring and validation rules to ensure that the data is in the expected format and meets quality standards.
Conclusion
Ask On Data is a game-changer in the world of data engineering. Its chat-based interface, combined with AI-powered capabilities, makes it an invaluable tool for anyone who needs to work with data—whether you're a non-technical user or a seasoned professional. With the freedom to use the open-source version or opt for the enterprise-managed service, Ask On Data provides flexibility, ease of use, and rapid deployment. Say goodbye to complex, time-consuming data workflows, and say hello to a new, simpler way to manage your data transformations with Ask On Data.

2025 Digital Marketing Trends: What You Should Really Pay Attention To
If you’ve been paying even a little attention to digital marketing lately, you’ll know things are moving faster than ever. Platforms change, algorithms shift, and customer behavior keeps evolving. What worked last year might not work today—and what’s working today might be gone by next quarter.
It can feel a bit overwhelming, sure. But here’s the good news: if you stay curious and pay attention to the right trends, there’s huge opportunity to stand out. Whether you're already in the field or just starting your journey through the best digital marketing training institute in Calicut, understanding the pulse of 2025 gives you a major edge.
1. Welcome to the Age of Real-Time Experiences
Marketing is no longer just about putting content out there and hoping people see it. In 2025, it’s about responding while it’s happening—right in the moment.
Think live streams, interactive polls, flash deals during events, or even AI-powered chat assistants that talk to customers at midnight. Real-time engagement is now a core part of strategy, especially in e-commerce and service-based industries.
2. Storytelling > Hard Selling
Let’s be honest: people don’t like being sold to. At least, not directly. What they do love is a good story.
Brands that can wrap their message into a narrative—about a mission, a journey, a personal experience—are finding it much easier to connect with audiences. It’s not about pushing a product. It’s about pulling people in with emotion, relevance, and relatability.
3. AI Is Helping, But Human Creativity Still Wins
Everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence, and yes, it’s a big deal. It helps with automating repetitive tasks, generating ideas, and even scheduling campaigns. But here’s the kicker—it doesn’t replace creative thinking.
In fact, the best marketers right now are the ones who use AI as a tool, not a crutch. They let it handle the backend, while they focus on crafting bold ideas, unique angles, and messages that sound like they came from a real person.
4. The Death of the Third-Party Cookie is Real
Browser cookies—those tiny data files that track your every move online—are fading out. Privacy laws and consumer pushback have forced platforms to rethink how data is collected.
As a result, marketers are shifting focus to first-party data—info gathered directly from your audience via sign-ups, feedback forms, or gated content. This makes email marketing and CRM systems more important than ever.
5. Search Isn’t Just Google Anymore
Search engine optimization (SEO) isn’t just about ranking on Google. People are now “searching” on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, and even LinkedIn.
Each platform has its own rules and algorithms. That means your content has to be optimized for where your audience hangs out, not just for traditional search engines. Understanding platform-specific search behaviors is a critical new skill.
6. Digital Marketing Is Becoming More Localized
While the internet connects the world, customers still care about what’s happening in their area. Hyperlocal marketing is on the rise, using geotargeting, local SEO, and community-focused campaigns.
If you're promoting a business or service, tailoring your strategy to a specific city, language, or even neighborhood can drastically improve engagement.
And yes, that includes people looking for the best digital marketing training institute in Calicut—they’re searching locally too.
7. Email Is Making a Comeback—With a Twist
It might surprise some, but email marketing is still one of the highest ROI channels around. The difference now is how emails are being written.
Gone are the boring newsletters. In their place? Story-style formats, curated content digests, and personalized emails that talk like a friend, not a corporation. A strong email list is a goldmine—if used right.
8. Your Personal Brand Matters More Than Ever
People trust people more than companies. Whether you’re a freelancer, job-seeker, or business owner, your personal brand is a major asset.
Being active on LinkedIn, sharing behind-the-scenes on Instagram, or even starting a blog can build credibility and open doors. Clients and employers now Google you before they hire or buy. Make sure they find something worth their time.
9. Short Learning Cycles Are Replacing Traditional Degrees
Here’s something that’s become crystal clear in 2025: you don’t need a 3-year degree to start working in digital marketing. What you need is skills, hands-on practice, and the ability to adapt quickly.
That’s why so many learners are choosing the best digital marketing training institute in Calicut instead of traditional routes. Institutes that focus on live projects, real tools, and actual industry challenges are the ones producing job-ready professionals.
10. Platforms Come and Go—But Strategy Stays
It’s easy to get caught up in whatever platform is trending this month. Threads today, TikTok tomorrow, something new next week. But if you know how to build a good campaign—identify an audience, craft a message, and choose the right timing—you can adapt to any platform.
The fundamentals are what set you apart. And that’s what solid training focuses on—not just learning tools, but understanding strategy.
Final Thoughts
Digital marketing in 2025 isn’t just about being online—it’s about being intentional, creative, and quick to adapt. The landscape will keep changing, but those who stay curious, keep practicing, and learn from the right sources will always stay ahead.
If you're someone thinking about breaking into this space, consider your options wisely. The best digital marketing training institute in Calicut won’t just give you certificates—they’ll give you confidence, clarity, and real-world skills that matter.
You don’t need to be a genius. You just need to start. And there’s never been a better time than now.

💜1 Step Forward, 2 Steps Back💜
Donatello x Kenzi
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kenzi was at the underground base in New Jersey, when she had just completed transferring data she stole from a drug lord's computer system and transferred it to her monitors for the police's files. She felt a little antsy and decided to work on her marksmanship. She grabbed her good crossbow, went to one of th training rooms for practice.
Her skills with the crossbow was flawless as she hit the targets just right. She was happy her sister let her turn one of the many rooms into a shooting range. She could put Deathstroke to shame, with a crossbow no less.
As she finished, she smelt a familiar scent. Engine oil and blueberries. Then, her ears twitched at the sound of music playing.
youtube
Chuckling, she put her weapon away, turning around to see her tall and scaly lover leaned against the door, looking suave and luscious. He just kept staring at her, she felt no shame given that its Donnie and the she was completely bare naked! Her long dreads adding to the scene.
"We're gonna have a chat about breaking and entering." She teased, sauntering over to him.
"You know I can hack anything. Your security system is great but it doesn't hold a candle to my love for you." He admits, pulling his suspenders down, undoing his pants to join her.
She watched him undress, finding it odd how he knew anything about music like this. Not to mention him being the type to not share feelings as much. When he said that, she cherished it.
"Can you teach me how to dance?" He asked, his eyes meeting hers. This genius wants to dance? With me?
"Okay. It's easy. Like 1, 2, 3." She murmurs, taking his one hand, putting it behind her back, placing her hand on his shoulder, while holding the other one outward with hers. He swallowed softly, a little nervous but he knew Kenzi. She slowly pulled them close, so their bodies were flushed. That's when they began slowly swaying to the music.
He was doing pretty well for a turtle who sits on his butt with his nose planted in the computer. The music he chose was soothing, when she felt him getting the hang of the steps, she rested her head against his chest. He looked down at her, speechless. He snort laughed and continued to dance with her.
"What you know about this type of music, Boo?" She asked.
"Well, I've been around you and your sisters enough to know what kind of music you like." He admits, snaking his one hand down to her buttocks. She bites her lip.
"Donatello. Have I had a positive impact on you?" She coos, twirling her tail around to tickle his neck. He spins her around, churring at her sweet complexion, the way her dreads swung with her as she faced him again.
"Well, you've exceeded my expectations. You still do." He kisses her cheek, she kisses back.
"Whats gotten into you, today?" She wanted to know what was up. Donatello dancing? Playing smooth music? Something was up and she wanted to know what. He wrapped his long arms around her body, grasping her tail in the process, planting his forehead on hers.
"Just wanted to share a moment with you. Its not often we have these times." He pressed them closer together, feeling each other's warmth. She felt safe with him, as he continued to sharpen his footwork during the dance. She shrugged, loving the moment. He found peace being with her. Showering her with compassion. He still questioned if this was real or not, a mate! A mate he could share things with and more. He pushed her against the wall, pinning her by the wrists. His eyes becoming dark as her eyes changed to that of a cat's.
"I Love You, Donnie!" She purrs.
His response was shoving his long tongue down her throat, both moaning at the sensation. His member got hard, poking her mounds. They separate, smirking at one another.
"Whats the next step?" He asks, brushing her dreads, squeezing her breasts.
"You lead!" She says, straddling his waist as he grabbed hold to keep her in place.
"Glady."
Meanwhile, Charlie, Dinah, and Alopex enter the base to relax when they heard the sound of music. Dinah checked the cams for intruders. Only to start snickering at what she found in the shooting range area. She coaxed Alopex to come over. She shook her head.
"I'd expect this from Charlie and Mikey, but them?" She says.
"Hey!" She whined, Dinah had to shush her from interrupting.
The cameras were turned off and the girls headed back out to give the humping lover's their privacy. Alopex letting Leonardo know to inform them if they want to visit.
