As they had traveled together, conquered communication barriers, and learned each other, Lana had practically cut her teeth on Lance’s stories about Arthur Pendragon. It was how she had learned much of her English, and as a result, there were some words she simply hadn’t gone near, and others she had learned that were rarely needed. What she had never expected, though, was to come across the man himself in a small town in Wales that they couldn’t escape.
Her heart had hurt slightly at the look on his face, that soft wonder in it. She hadn’t understood it as she watched the pair of them together, but she knew that her мамочка would tell her. Curling with Concorde, she tipped her head to study her for a moment before waving her hand lightly to catch her attention. ‘Mama, what are we going to do here?’

so bianca bustamante liking tweets calling lance austistic and overall just hate tweets was def not on my bingo card. i get it if you don’t like stroll and are frustrated that you haven’t had the same opportunities as male drives but that was so uncalled for, and it’s an attitude we really don’t need. i was rooting for her and now i’m just meh. wtf is wrong with her, seriously.
and this has nothing to do with being “pr trained”, it is simply called being a decent human being. ‼️
imagining a situation where reader gets introduced to the formula one world when her wee bestie lance finally drags her to a race
imagining where she meets charles and she gets flustered and so does he and his brain panics and he can’t stop talking in french
imagining reader making lance teach her french so she can then talk to the cute ferrari driver
imagining poor lance stuck being a middle man so they can basically flirt because charles’ brain seems to forget all english skills when he’s around a pretty girl
Finally cleared out my backlog of textpost memes, now the production cycle will finally return to its original form, which literally doesn’t make a difference to anyone except me.
