NU: Carnival - Eiden x Olivine
Tumblr media
A/N: I have to admit I'm not Olivine's biggest fan, but I'm Val's biggest fan, so... THIS GIFT IS FOR YOU MY DEAR!!! MERRY (now belated) XMAS!!!
*ahem*
So, in case you guys are wondering, me and a couple of mutuals did a little Secret Santa among ourselves and I was the "lucky bastard" to get Valerie, ehehe. Hope you enjoy this little fic that I wrote with my best efforts, dear!
Summary: Eiden notices something is bothering Olivine and decides to confront the priest to find out what it is.
Word count: 2540 words
Tumblr media
Taking a step back, Olivine quickly raised the box of supplies above his head and out of the way of the kids that stormed around the temple. “Careful there,” he warned, sighing out of concern when they didn’t seem to care about his scolding at all. However, Olivine couldn’t help but smile. They are just kids after all, he thought, taking a moment to watch one boy chase the other, reminiscing old memories from his own childhood.
“You can’t run away forever,” one of the boys threatened amidst laughter, panting heavily as he continued to chase his friend in circles in and out the temple. His quick footsteps echoed, just like the panicked, but happy, squeals of his friend that put up all his best efforts to escape the incoming demise. “I’m going to catch you!!”
The other squeaked, refusing to look back. “Nohohoh!!”
Olivine, already placing the box with the rest of the supplies gathered for that week, took a moment to appreciate that moment. To think the temple would become a place where kids could have fun like that under his care was truly heart-warming. The fondness of the priest’s gaze, however, only lasted until one of the boys tackled the other into the ground.
Olivine had seen that scene countless times before. Kids running around the temple was “forbidden” for a reason: it was always a matter of moments until someone started to cry, got hurt or broke something - if not the three of them at the same time. Olivine sighed, already looking around for a first aid kit, thinking if it would be a bruised knee or hand this time.
However, just when he was ready to jump into action, a certain sound announced the unexpected - but welcomed - turn of events. Just like seconds ago, one of the boys started laughing again, desperately tugging at his friend’s hands in a fruitless attempt to stop the ticklish attack. “AhAHAHah, n-nohOHo!! No tihihicklihing!”
Olivine stopped- no, froze on the spot as he heard that word. No one was harmed, he thought, so it should be fine. Still, there was something about it that made it hard for him to avert his gaze from that scene. It was just two friends goofing around, playing with each other, so why did he feel like his heart was beating faster?
“Say ‘uncle’ or I’m not stopping,” one of the boys cheered, nearly laughing as much as his friend as he seemed to enjoy having the upper hand on that moment. Olivine felt the back of his throat going dry for a strange reason - he could also feel a bit of heat spreading to his cheeks. By now he should have stepped in because of how loud those two were being and how they probably disturbed the other visitors, but he didn’t. The scene had already been deconstructed inside his mind, the place, the characters playing it, what they were saying - all of that didn’t matter anymore. There was just one word, one concept inside Olivine’s mind: tickling.
But why was he so heartstruck by such a thing?!
“Olivine? Hellooo? ~” Olivine blinked a few times as he saw a hand waving in front of his face, shaking his head as his mind slowly came back to reality. When he turned his attention to the side, he was met with Eiden’s confused eyes. “Are you ok? You seemed a bit lost just now…”
“Mr. Eiden, I-” Olivine stopped himself, letting out a shy sigh, “yes. I just got distracted for a moment and-”
“O-okahAHAY! Uncleheh! I sahahaid unclehehe!”
Olivine looked back to the two boys, remembering what he was supposed to do. With an apologetic smile, he turned to the Grand Sorcerer before resuming to speak again. “Just a moment.”
Eiden chuckled, nodding and waiting patiently as Olivine walked over the loud duo, trying to look as serious as possible while giving a stern scolding about making a mess and playing inside the temple and how dangerous it could be.
“Sorry, father Olivine…”
Eiden could hear them mutter, with their heads lowered. They were lucky, Eiden thought, if it was anyone else, they would probably be dragged outside by their ears, but Olivine let them go with a pat on top of their heads.
“Sigh, good thing they didn’t break anything this time,” Olivine chuckled, finally letting go of that serious and concerned facade that didn’t have the least to do with his true self.
“Still, you always know how to handle this kind of thing. They didn’t seem sad at all when they left, but you still managed to scold them. As expected of our amazing Olivine ~”
“You’re too kind, mr. Eiden.”
However, just when the priest thought it would be the end of their interaction, the Grand Sorcerer brought a topic back into their attention - this time a little more assertive about it. “Say it, Olivine, are you really ok? You are not overworking yourself again, are you?”
“H-huh? What do you mean?” Olivine narrowed his eyes slightly, fearing he would have concerned Eiden somehow. “Thank you for worrying about me, but as you can see, I’m fine, mr. Eiden,” he said, as friendly as ever and wearing his usual bright and charming smile.
“Hmmm,” however, Eiden didn’t really seem to be convinced. In fact, it was pretty much like he hadn’t bought it at all. “Are you sure? You had such a distant gaze on your eyes and even seemed to be a little feverish…”
“I’m sorry that was the impression I gave you, mr. Eiden, but I was just distracte-”
“Perhaps,” Eiden interrupted, the concerned look on his face giving place to a smug, teasing grin, “you saw some hot guy wandering around the temple?” Eiden whispered, wiggling his eyebrows before starting to look around. “Where is he now? Does he work here as well?”
“W-what? Of course not, mr. Eiden!” Olivine gasped half offended, turning his head to the Grand Sorcerer with cheeks tainted in bright red from embarrassment. “I wouldn’t-”
“I know, I know, I'm just teasing you, hehe…” Eiden smiled brightly at him, but slowly let that expression fade into a more neutral one. “But if you don’t want to say it, then…”
“H-huh? Mr. Eiden?” Olivine chirped in confusion as Eiden held him by his wrist, pulling him gently before guiding out of the main hall of the temple. “Where are we going?” The priest gasped, trying to keep up with Eiden’s pace. The strange change of mood was somewhat unsettling, but Olivine knew there would be no harm in sticking around Eiden… right?
In a matter of seconds, they were far from others’ eyes. Eiden carefully guided the priest into one of the guests' rooms, making sure they would be by themselves. As soon as he stepped in, Olivine found himself trapped against the door, pinned down against the wooden surface by the very man he just decided to trust. Truth to be told, he couldn’t say something like that was unexpected.
“M-Mr. Eiden-”
“Well, you didn’t want to talk to me, so I thought I could… maybe… make a better offer?” Eiden smiled wickedly, not wasting a single second before pressing his lips on the contour of Olivine’s jaw, gently nuzzling at the side of his neck. “Would you please share it with me, O~li~vi~ne? ~”
“A-ah, Eiden..!” Olivine muttered in a rush, barely having time for the air to leave his lungs before pressing his lips shut, attempting to stop any embarrassing sound to escape so soon. Olivine reached for Eiden’s head with one hand, stroking his hair and gently scratching the back of his neck - mostly to encourage him, signing to go on. “I j-just- ah… I just got distracted-”
“By what?” Eiden interrupted, moving his head back to look at Olivine in the eyes. A piercing, demanding gaze made the priest weak at the knees, made him feel like his heart was being squeezed so hard that it would pop at any second. Oh, God of Klein, he thought, not sure if it was a prayer for mercy or to thank for having someone like Eiden in his life. “What did we talk about keeping secrets? I told you: you can share your desires with me, Olivine, all of them…”
Olivine went silent, turning his look to the side to avoid Eiden’s demanding gaze for a second. He indeed recalled hearing those words, having that conversation and the feeling of freedom, of weight being lifted from his shoulders when they, indeed, shared those ideas…
“W-well,” Olivine coughed, feeling his cheeks turning even hotter when Eiden seemed so focused about it. “You know those two kids I was talking to just now?” Eiden nodded, resting his chin on Olivine’s chest as he looked up to him, paying attention to every detail. Olivine sighed, “they were playing and- ahm, and one of them tickled the other and it made me think of…”
Olivine cringed so hard at what he was saying. The idea of Eiden listening to it didn’t help either, making the priest let out a sigh in embarrassment, taking a few seconds before continuing. “I-I mean, it’s just something fun and I used to play like that when I was younger and it’s been so long that… Well, I thought about it for a moment and, I-I imagine it would be fun?” Olivine stumbled over his own words, barely sure if what he was saying made sense. Yet, Eiden’s expression didn’t seem to change - the Grand Sorcerer kept the same relaxed, comforted smile, listening to him ever so carefully. “That’s just wishful thinking, I- no, we, as adults, have better things to do, no?”
“Olivine-”
“I know, it’s something so silly right, mr. Eiden?”
“Why would I think that?”
“H-huh?” Olivine looked down, seeing as Eiden stood back up with a confident expression.
“Why would I think that’s silly? I told you I wanted to hear what you were thinking,” Eiden chuckled, kissing the priest’s cheek, holding him by his shoulders. “Don’t ever think I’d judge your interests like that, but since we are talking about it…” Eiden continued, sliding his hands down Olivine’s arms to hold both his hands. The Grand Sorcerer guided him to the middle of the room, closer to the tidied up bed.
“Tickling, hm? So you wanted to tickle me, Olivine?” Eiden suggested happily, sitting down on the bed and leaning back a bit, using his hands to support his body.
“W-well, no exactly…” Olivine giggled shyly, but as composed as ever. “Tickling you sounds intriguing, but I was actually thinking of getting-”
“Tickled?” Eiden hummed, leaning a bit closer to him. His eyes scanned Olivine from head to toe and a mischievous grin took place on his face.
“...yes,” Olivine nodded, already feeling butterflies on his stomach with anticipation. He knew Eiden was versed and familiar with a lot of exquisite things, so of course this wouldn’t be of any trouble to him - but there was something about the way he understood the assignment so rapidly that made Olivine doubt about what kind of ride he just signed in. “If you couhuhuld- ah!”
With arms wrapped around his body, the priest giggled when he felt fingers wiggling around his stomach, testing out the waters - as if looking for the most ticklish spot. Eiden promptly rested his head on Olivine’s shoulder, which sent a shiver down the latter’s spine. Olivine laughed, holding onto Eiden’s wrists, but not trying to pry them off for a single second.
“Heheh, how does it feel? I don’t know why I didn’t try to tickle you sooner,” Eiden muttered in a monologue of his own, digging his fingers near Olivine’s waist. So far, his middle seemed like a good spot to target, specially close to the gemstone imbued into his body - guess that saying about the sensitivity being increased around them was true, after all. “Should I stop?”
“N-nohohoh ahahAHAhah, mr. Eheheiden, j-just slohohow down!” Olivine giggled, trying to scrunch up his shoulders as the mere fact of having Eiden’s head resting on one of them was making him feel ticklish already. With each stroke of Eiden’s fingers, Olivine felt like electricity ran across his body, making him laugh and squirm - in a good way.
“Hmmm, no, I don’t think I will,” Eiden chuckled, deciding to move one of his hands up and teasingly tickle Olivine just below his chest - which turned out to be more sensitive than he expected. “I didn’t know you had such a pretty laugh, I want to hear more, O~li~vi~ne~”
“AhahAHah, w-wahahait a secohohond!”
He should’ve known. Of course Eiden wouldn’t just play around a little and stop, he would take this “experience” to a whole other level - not that it was something to complain about, after all, it was something Olivine was looking for. Still, the priest couldn’t help but to be surprised in how quick Eiden found the right spots to make him breathless (well, in a different way from the other times when he had his breath taken away).
Eiden’s fingers continued to explore each inch of skin. Scratching Olivine’s sides, poking him in-between his ribs, blowing air against his ear and neck and even caressing his chest in that awfully ticklish manner. Olivine didn’t remember the last time he was tickled like that (nor that he was this ticklish, truth to be told), but, in the end, there was no way to deny how… good it felt.
“E-Eidehehen, plehehease! AhahahAHAha, m-my GohOHohod, wahahait a secohohond,” Olivine gasped between laughter, tiredly dropping his head down. He felt small tears of mirth clinging into his lashes while his heart was beating like it would pop out of his chest at any moment.
Eiden leaned a bit forward, admiring the bright red tones on the priest’s cheeks. “What is wrong? I thought you wanted it, Olivine,” he chuckled, reducing the tickling to a couple of well aimed pokes around Olivine’s stomach and sides, keeping the other on the edge, not wanting him to completely recover from the previous onslaught.
“I d-dohoho, but I n-neehed to breheheath,” he whined light heartedly, using the last bits of strength to hold onto Eiden’s wrists.
The Grand Sorcerer smiled, moving his hands to bring Olivine into a tight, warm hug. Eiden pressed his cheek against Olivine’s, smiling while he sighed happily. “Fine, fine, we don’t want to overdo it, right? We can continue later if you want…”
“T-that, hahah… w-would be nice, indeed,” Olivine gasped, feeling like each of his limbs weighed a thousand pounds. His body was tired, but, at the same time, he felt an inexplicable warmth - a fuzzy and somewhat funny feeling.
“So, while we wait…” Eiden muttered, pulling the priest down and pinning him against the mattress underneath them in the blink of an eye. Straddling his waist, the Grand Sorcerer looked down at him, one palm pressing against his chest while a malicious glow took place inside his eyes. “Why don’t we do something else?”
Olivine took a few seconds to process the whole thing, eyes wide open in shock completed his confused expression, but he soon understood Eiden’s intentions - and smiled. “Yes… Let’s do… something else, Eiden.”

I'd like to think that Befana has a soup at her disposal that has the ability to insta-thaw Jack.
I personally think it would just be really funny if the man just needed a good magic soup and had all his problems solved. One sip and he gets melted and he's like "yeah actually I do feel better. Sorry about all that upstaging Christmas stuff, won't happen again." And then he just lives his thawed life because the soup was that powerful.

🆕 Crystal Springs Chapter 30: "What Comes Next" now up on ao3/ff dot net!
Chapter 30: What Comes Next
Jacqueline wakes up; Jack fixes the Dome. With everything all but wrapped up, what comes next?
ao3 | ff dot net
you guys...she's finished.
Crystal Springs is actually, honest to goodness, FINISHED. THIS IS THE LAST HECKING CHAPTER! I AM BALLING IN THE CLUB RIGHT NOW!
Please, take my humble excerpt while I SOB UNCONTROLLABLY--
Bright. It was bright. It had been so, so dark and now it was so, so bright. Why was it so bright? She cracked open her eyes. Bright. Blurry. Sunlight. Water. Humid air. Blue eyes. “…Jack?” A sharp inhale. “Oh, darling. I’m so, so sorry.” “Momma?” She was being crushed. Her tummy hurt. Momma was sniffling. “But where’s…where’s Jack?” She tightened her hold. She didn’t reply. This was wrong. It was bright out. Too bright. But it wasn’t the right kind of bright. She closed her eyes tightly. Opened them again. Squinted. It was bright. Way too bright. Artificial bright. She groaned, turning her head to the side. Blue eyes. “…Jack?” “Jacqueline?” On the edge of his seat, Jack watched as Jacqueline’s eyes finally opened—only to immediately shut tight once more as she winced at the bright light. She groaned. Wrinkled her nose. Her eyes popped open again, blues meeting blues. She blinked. Smiled. “You are here.” “Welcome back, little flurry.”
THIS IS MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE WHOLE THING I AM A MESS! AND I HAVE NOBODY TO BLAME BUT MYSELF!
So, indeed. What DOES come next? Read on at ao3 and ff dot net to find out!
Want to start from the top and read it ALL IN ONE GO, NOW? You can do that HERE on ao3 and HERE on ff dot net! I think it's time for a new pinned post now, lol.
Story summary and chapter musings below the cut!
It’s been almost a year since Jack Frost thawed and things are looking…well, not so great. Jack’s powers are seemingly gone. Without them, the Dome that keeps the North Pole safe from the cold and its magic controlled is melting, putting everything and everyone magical at risk. Unable to hide his power shortage any longer, Jack is forced to admit the truth. Thankfully, there is a solution: enacting the Legate Law, bringing Jack and the sister that he hurt so many centuries ago back together again. But when Jacqueline starts experiencing destructive blackouts, the pair are forced to head back home to Crystal Springs, bringing Jack face to face with the rest of the family. Needless to say, between getting his powers back, helping his sister figure out what in the FROST those blackouts even were, reconciling with his parents, meeting the two even younger siblings he didn’t even KNOW he had, NOT TO MENTION the ancient threat that’s had it out for the ENTIRE Frost family finally making a move? Saving Christmas (regrettably) is looking to be a little bit…complicated.
And there we have it! After way too many years, Crystal Springs is done! Again again! TBH it's probably a GOOD thing I paused halfway through rewriting--my writing has gotten muchas better and I don't think the story would be as lovely as it is now if I HADN'T taken a huge long ass pause from round 2 for a haute minute!
So, here's what's 🆕 This Chapter:
Kept the sillies but made them FLOW better
Since Fino got a whole ass bonding scene with Jack a couple chapters back, the Elfirmary scene went to Fiera instead, and it is LOVELY. It worked out well! She surprised me a BUNCH!
Lucy is in character now :) Love to see it :)
WORD COUNT!!!!!!
And I think that's about it!
OG 2014 Edition: 7,114k words
NEW 202X Edition: 15,387k ish words
Thank you all so much for reading and commenting and creating with me! I really hope that Crystal Springs is as delightful a read as it was to write 🥰🥰
In the meantime! Here's what we can expect to see from the CS-Universe:
Frostmas making it's way over to ao3 monthly! Complete with minor edits for a fresh ✨GLOW UP✨
Smile Shots creeping over there
NEW Smile Shots creeping up over here
The usual scrimblies
Into the Shadows musings? We'll see. She's a little disjointed rn but will be sO FUN once I've got all the threads connected 🥳🥳
And thank you from the very bottom of my heart for coming along on this ride with me! And the asks and the art--all of it has been so, so amazing and SO lovely to see! I cannot tell you all how happy my heart is knowing these lil fucks (affectionate) have resonated with you all, too 🧡💙🤍💖

On The Naughty List
Yandere Krampus x Gender Neutral Reader CW: Noncon, spanking, bondage, dick piercings, size difference, Krampus, Christmas, assassin reader, punishment, kidnapping, biting, very mild blood from biting, general yandere behavior Word Count: 1.5k (Hey guys, I hope you all like this. Kinda rushed, not beta read, please forgive any errors. My second Christmas gift to you all. I hope your holiday is amazing <3)
You got yourself settled in your hotel room. It was very early in the morning, not past 3am, on Christmas. But you were not Santa Claus and you were not delivering cheer. You had with you only a simple black suitcase. The furnishings in your room were sparse, but that was okay. You did not select this room because of the accommodations but rather for its view. It was not particularly scenic, merely a view of a road and residential area. But you were an assassin and this room afforded you clear aim into the room of your target’s living room. All you had to do was wait.
Your weapon was easy enough to assemble. A sniper rifle, of course. Finally you saw your designated victim pull up into their driveway and enter their house, so you opened the window and readied yourself. An icy chill filled the room. Your vantage point was clear and your weapon was ready but before you could take out your mark you heard a strange and tumultuous sound from behind.
It sounded like the Earth was being torn asunder and the four winds themselves were howling in unison as they collided.
You turned around and saw the very fabric of space and tear before you leaving a purple portal leaking black mist blocking the door to the hotel room. An odd scent like that of cinnamon and coal filled the room. You were about to flee through the open window, you had the skills necessary to scale the building, but the window slammed shut before you could act.
Not many things made a hardened combatant turned assassin such as yourself scared but you would be lying if you said you weren’t trembling.
You could hear a slow and rhythmic pounding sound getting nearer and nearer as if some unseen monstrosity approached from the other side of the portal. And that’s exactly what it was.
The first thing you saw erupt through the rip in space was the head of a horned beast. It was humanoid and wore a wicked grin full of sharp teeth. Eyes like black coals stared into you, piercing you with unrestrained glee in your fear.
Followed by this terrifying face was its body.
Muscular thighs with legs like tree trunks that ended in cloven hooves.. And his whip-like tail lashed angrily at the air. The demonic beast was covered in thick black fur.
The horrifying creature was at least 7 feet. tall.
The faint scent of burning coal filled the space surrounding it.
It took a thundering step towards you, and you cowered in place, momentarily stunned as it said in a deep booming voice, "I’m Krampus and someone has been verrrry naughty this yeeeear."
Though you felt more fear than you ever thought possible you were still a trained combatant turned assassin for hire and you managed to collect yourself about as well as it was possible for any mere human to in such a situation.
You shot the thing right between the eyes with your high-powered rifle, and he... laughed. The bullet bounced off uselessly, and he just... laughed...
You screamed and shouted as loudly as you could, hoping to attract help. Though what they could possibly do when he had shrugged off, a bullet remained to be seen.
No help came for you. Krampus always magically silenced noise from leaking out of rooms where he was punishing someone.
Suddenly, he closed the difference between the two of you and was upon you in record speed, moving supernaturally fast for such a behemoth.
With precise movements, strong hands and sharp claws made confetti out of your dark clothing before he had you bent over his knee.
"I usually use a birch rute for this, but I wanna feel your skin on my hand..."
You struggled and tried to get away, but there was no chance he would let you go. Krampus had to punish many humans, but you were special. Ironically, it was your defiance, the fight in your eyes, that initially attracted him to you.
His hard, calloused hand came down on your bare ass, causing you to curse and tremble.
With all your training something as simple as a slap to your ass shouldn't have bothered you much, even from such a large adversary, but it was like he had slammed the essence of dread into your very heart.
But that still wasn't enough to still you. You kicked, punched, and clawed ferally at any inch of flesh you could reach, like a feral animal backed into a corner.
But he only laughed more as he spanked you over and over. Until you were crying. Worse than the pain was the total humiliation.
Through it all, though, you never stopped struggling. No matter how much terror and pain you endured. You didn't realize it, but it only made him more into you.
Everyone he had punished before, broke them like a kid with a toy, and left them to deal with the trauma. But you didn't seem so easily broken, and that sealed your fate.
If you kept resisting like you were, he was going to keep you forever.
Krampus finally stopped the assault on your rear and dragged you, kicking and screaming over to the bed. You could now see his cock, large and uncut with a frenum ladder set of piercings going up the underside of his length.
"Stop! Get away from me!!"
"Yeah, because you're really the one in position to give commands right now."
He chuckled and bent you over the bed as you writhed madly, knowing what was about to happen.
"Might need to keep you still for this."
In a puff of black smoke, a coil of rope appeared in his hand that he skillfully used to bind your legs and arms.
While he had tied up many people in his line of work, he had never actually used rape to punish someone. But he wanted to see how far he could take things with you. Though at this point, even if he broke you, he was sure he would keep you anyway, just to fix you up again.
Krampus spit on your hole and plunged his cock in roughly. Hardly enough prep to do anything for the pain. For the fiery burning stretch that came with his big dick breaching your entrance.
Despite being bound you still wriggled as best you could while screaming until your throat hurt.
"Fuck you! Goddamned piece o- AHHHH!!!!"
He smirked as he increased the pace. Good. His toy STILL wasn't crumbling apart.
Sharp claws raked your back as his hot breath cascaded down your neck while he whispered, "For someone so bad you feel so good."
Tears rushed down your cheeks. You were infuriated with him and with yourself for having allowed yourself to be taken with such ease. What was far more reprehensible than that though, was the fact that your body had adjusted to his size and it was actually starting to feel somewhat good despite the pain and discomfort.
You yelped as he lightly smacked your sore ass while fucking you.
"Go to H-hell bastard!"
"Ha, been there."
He pulled out, flipped you over on your back, and slid right back into, profuse amounts of precum now providing more adequate lubrication. Embarrassingly, you couldn't stifle a moan as he entered back into you with his piercings adding to the sensation you were trying to ignore.
If your legs hadn't been tied you would have tried to kick him right between the legs for making your body betray you like that.
He leaned over and nibbled on your neck lightly with his sharp teeth, licking up the little droplets of blood that welled to the surface of your skin
You moaned as he did so, as you were pulled closer and closer to orgasm.
Violently, you twitched as you came hard, blushing deeply and cursing him as you did so. He ignored you and licked the blush on your cheeks, humiliating you even farther.
For a few more moments you thrashed as much as you were able in overstimulation as he continued to breed you. His skin meeting yours with an audible slap at each thrust.
Finally he went in deep and filled you with abnormally hot cum that coaxed another orgasm from your exhausted body.
After a few moments of panting he sighed with content and slung you over his shoulders, cum leaking from you and out on to him as he carried you. Vulgarities rolling from your tongue with each heavy step he took.
Another portal opened and he stepped through with you. The cussing, the fierceness, the unbreakable spirit. A perfect partner.
You were the best Christmas gift he had ever given himself, and there was no way he was ever going to give you up.

word count - 1.4k
in which, when you and harry are putting the christmas presents under the tree on christmas eve, with harry dressed up in a santa costume just for his own novelty, and share a little moment to themselves, unbeknownst to them that there four year old son arlo, was watching the whole time.
Tumblr media
00:13am. 25th December, 2023.
On this whimsical Christmas Eve, the air is infused with the scent of pine and anticipation as you and your husband Harry, donned in a jolly Santa suit purely for his own delight, tiptoe around the cozy living room.
The soft glow of twinkling lights casts a warm ambiance, enveloping the space in a serene holiday magic.
Upstairs in the master bed, your precious four-year-old, Arlo, is lost in dreams of sugarplums and toy-filled wonderlands.
As his dreams weave their gentle tapestry, you and Harry share mischievous smiles, conspirators in the clandestine mission to deliver presents beneath the twinkling Christmas tree.
In the quietude of the night, laughter bubbles between you and Harry, a shared joy that needs no reason. Silently, you exchange glances, finding amusement in the simple joy of being together on this enchanting night. The muffled laughter dances in the air, a secret language spoken in the hushed tones of love.
The presents, adorned with festive paper and ribbons, find their places beneath the tree like treasures awaiting discovery. With each shared giggle, you and Harry weave invisible threads of happiness, wrapping the room in the warmth of familial love.
The task at hand becomes a delightful game of stealth and joy. Harry, in his Santa suit, moves with a festive grace, and you follow suit, your hearts synchronized in the shared delight of creating magic for Arlo. Laughter, sweet and spontaneous, becomes the soundtrack to this festive ballet.
Beside the twinkling evergreen, Arlo's offerings for Santa and his reindeer beckon: a plate adorned with mince pies and a bunch of crisp carrot for Rudolph.
Harry, ever the good sport in his Santa attire, merrily takes a bite of the sweet, spiced pie, savoring the festive flavor with genuine delight.
Meanwhile, you opt for the crunchy carrots, enjoying their crisp freshness. The contrast of flavours mirrors the yuletide spirit, blending the sweetness of the mince pies with the earthy simplicity of the carrots.
The pièce de résistance, however, is the offering of milk. Harry, with a theatrical flourish, lifts the glass to his lips, only to be met with a cringe as the chilly liquid meets his tongue. The milk, left out for Santa's refreshment, bears the unmistakable chill of a night spent waiting. The internal wince is evident on Harry's face, though he valiantly soldiers on, determined not to let a bit of cold milk dampen the festive mood.
As you stand in the hushed glow of the Christmas tree, satisfied smiles exchanged with Harry, a sense of completion washes over you. The presents are arranged, the festive treats enjoyed, and the world outside is wrapped in a blanket of silent snow. It feels like the perfect moment to retire to bed, where dreams of sugarplums can join the night's symphony.
But just as you entertain the idea of slipping under the warm covers, Harry, in his Santa suit, wraps his arms around your waist with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. His lips press gentle kisses against your neck, creating a trail of warmth that contrasts the cool air of the room. You can't help but laugh, a delighted sound that dances in the quietude.
"M’not quite ready f’bed yet," he murmurs against your neck, his breath sending shivers down your spine. "If I go now, I'll just get kicked in the back by ‘Lo, and I'll end up with no quilt."
The unexpected declaration sends a ripple of laughter through you, and you playfully turn around in his embrace. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you meet his gaze with a playful glint in your eyes.
"Well, we can't have that, can we?" you tease, your lips curving into a smile.
In the gentle dance of shared laughter and lingering gazes, you both revel in the magic of the moment. The Christmas lights cast a soft glow on Harry's face, accentuating the warmth in his eyes. His lips meet yours in a brief but tender kiss, a sweet punctuation to the unspoken joy that fills the room.
"M’suppose bedtime can wait a bit longer," he concedes, his arms tightening around you. "After all, who could resist the allure f’a quiet, magical Christmas night?"
In the gentle glow, Harry's eyes meet yours with a magnetic pull, and the world outside seems to vanish. His arms envelop you, creating an intimate cocoon that shields you from the outside world. The soft strains of holiday tunes linger, providing a subtle backdrop to the unspoken language of desire that fills the room.
The air is thick with a sweet tension as Harry's lips find yours in a series of passionate kisses, each one deepening the connection between you. Both of you smiling into each others mouths, your hands find the peach fuzz at the back of head neck, whilst his find habitat on the groove of your bum.
The room transforms into a haven of shared intimacy, where the only language spoken is that of desire, and every touch is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of this moment.
The heat of the moment intensifies as you lose yourselves in the magnetic pull of each other. The world outside continues its hushed existence, oblivious to the crescendo of emotions echoing within the room.
The bed, usually shared with the comforting presence of his parents, felt empty, and a sense of curiosity tugged at his tiny heart. Arlo, with his baby blanket in tow, embarked on a solo journey down the hallway.
The plush carpet beneath his little feet muffled his steps as he approached the top of the stairs. The house was still cloaked in the tranquillity of the evening, and Arlo, with wide eyes and tousled hair, peered down into the living room below.
A strange sound caught his attention, and he instinctively clutched his blanket a bit tighter.
At the bottom of the stairs, a tableau unfolded. His mother, adorned in her pajamas, was locked in an embrace with Santa Claus—or so it seemed. Arlo's innocent gaze widened, his imagination dancing with the possibility that Santa himself had arrived early to share a moment with his mom.
The festive glow of the Christmas tree provided an ethereal backdrop to the unexpected scene.
Unaware that the figure beneath the Santa suit was, in fact, his dad, Harry, Arlo continued to observe with a mixture of awe and confusion.
08:21am. 25th December, 2023.
The Christmas morning sun spilled into the kitchen, casting a golden hue on the day's festivities. As you walked in with Arlo nestled on your hip, the air buzzed with the promise of holiday magic.
However, a quiet tension lingered as Arlo, unusually reserved, gazed around the room with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty.
Harry, donned in a festive apron, stood at the stove, the sizzle of eggs providing a comforting backdrop to the scene. Arlo's silence persisted, his little mind undoubtedly preoccupied with the mysterious encounter from the previous night.
As you settled into the kitchen routine, the atmosphere held a subtle undercurrent of curiosity. Arlo's wide eyes shifted between you and Harry, his silence becoming a palpable presence in the room.
The bewilderment in his gaze hinted at the lingering confusion from witnessing the unexpected kiss with Santa Claus.
With each passing moment, the unspoken question hung in the air. Harry, flipping eggs with a practised ease, stole a glance at Arlo, sensing the inner turmoil of his young son. The parental instinct to reassure tugged at your heart as you navigated the morning, your steps mindful of the unspoken query hanging in the air.
After the hearty Christmas breakfast, Arlo, still harbouring the mystery from the previous night, toddled over to Harry.
His little arms reached up, a silent request to be lifted. Harry, ever the doting dad, scooped him up onto his hip, planting a cascade of playful kisses on Arlo's cheek. The room echoed with the sounds of affectionate giggles.
As Arlo settled into Harry's arms, he seemed to hesitate for a moment, glancing around to ensure that you were nowhere in sight. Satisfied that the conversation would be just between him and his dad, Arlo took a deep breath, his eyes serious.
"I have something to tell you, Daddy," Arlo announced in a hushed voice, leaning in as if sharing a grand secret.
Harry, playfully intrigued, raised an eyebrow and encouraged him to spill the beans.
With an air of importance, Arlo whispered, "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus."
The words hung in the air, and a mischievous sparkle lit up his eyes. Harry's reaction, however, was unexpected.
A loud, hearty laugh erupted from Harry's chest, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Arlo, momentarily perplexed, couldn't help but join in the infectious laughter. Harry, wiping away an imaginary tear, managed to compose himself and leaned in with mock seriousness.
Harry brought his face closer to his mini-me and brought his voice to a quiet mock whisper.
“Tell m’more.”

Fa La La La La Michael's on Sale (Christmas Miracle L-Card PROLOGUE Spoilers II)
Tumblr media
Before you proceed!!! Check out Part 1 here ->
if you've already saw that, let's dive back in for the remainder of the prologueeee
So we left off at the auction, and Daddy Mammon was being Daddy Mammon. But he also explains how he views buying stuff in general, including being forward that the "gifts" MC assumed were gifts are things that they needed for the function lmao
Tumblr media
Damn if that's a necessity to you then a gift is like....probably very very expensive or heartfelt or something like that. At least to Mammon. He even explains his buying process to them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So how he sees it, everything in this world is already his and he's just sharing it with everyone and allowing them to enjoy it as well. When he pays the store or anyone for anything it's basically him rewarding them for keeping his stuff safe until he needs it again later regardless of the reason, he wants it for. He's adorable.
So while all of that is happening and he's trying to see what it is that MC would want to buy, Michael literally fucking plunges from the sky into the building like nothing.... Like when I tell you that's the funniest shit I've read for both prologues where the angels literally just fell from the sky forcefully and they were probably just minding their business for the day, it's Christmas so they're like meh we're chilling, gonna wait til the day after and Y E E T bam down the hell for whatever reason lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So here's a couple rumor lore for our seraph boi. Apparently out of the three, he's really cutthroat and doesn't give a fuck about it. His judgment usually ends with him killing you basically because no one is pure in his eyes. SO at this point everyone is hauling ass trying to escape before he gets murder happy.
He notices that MC is there and acknowledges their presence, and his forever crying eye because he's always like that is dripping tears (I like to make a joke he has allergies....to sin....)
Tumblr media
So Mammon tries a sneak attack and it seems to not work against him and he's like confused, MC is confused, EYE am confused because wtf is Michael suddenly invincible???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So he's referring that Mammon is the most sinful devil king...I guess in his eyes being greedy is too much and should be punished right away. I guess he just doesn't see the potential in the other kings huh? /j
So Mike here starts shooting bolts of energy, blades of light, everything he's got toward Mammon and MC, none of it lands or hits. Everyone is watching confused YET again and Mammon is the only one that seems to get it.
Tumblr media
A what now?????
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So remember in the beginning where Minhyeok basically sat up there and wished for peace wherever MC was so they could have a peaceful Christmas? I mean canon-wise he's been to hell before and knows exactly how rough it is for MC and the others, so he made this wish thinking about that and turns out...
The rules of "Santa" work in Hell when it comes to wishes. Mammon can't attack Mike and Mike can't kill any devils for the day.
Tumblr media
That's right buddy, no murder party for youuuuu <3
Tumblr media
I love his angry face here, he's so pissed off lmao. But basically what happens shortly after...since he's powerless and pretty much fucking useless, the devils gang up on him and chain him up and such. Mammon threw out the idea of "wonder how much he would cost?" and now...angel boi is part of the fucking auction lol
Tumblr media
So they're having MC 'test' out the product which in this case is Michael. Apparently in the past Solomon tested out various products before they were auctioned off and so they are having MC do the same. Honestly, the expectations put on MC are so odd sometimes. Like come on their granddaddy from centuries ago was from a different time and had some crazy magical powers and shit and so far MC has only been able to tap in like a 4th of that power. Maybe not even a 4th T^T But regardless they're eating up Michael with their eyes and he's of course being a brat about it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It appears that during the scuffle, the devils were able to pitch together and come up with an info card, only had to use minimal chains, a golden gag (I assume he was fucking biting people lmao) and well...I'd like to think now that the angels automatically have their cock/chastity cages just by default. The design of their cages remind me of 'Dick Fight Island' hahaha. And MC is just like damn, I guess it wouldn't hurt having a little taste??? Just a small one? And it's just like yeah I'd probably figure out how to unlock that cage and tease his cock a bit... But also this is giving some pretty triggering content based on the fact clearly....Michael is against this, because he's glaring at MC like he could murder them on the spot. He was outnumbered, chained up, and now being sold as a possible sex slave. But oh take a look at his sprite!
Tumblr media
Even his sprite is not having a great time lmao he is p i s s e d. Pretty much rabid and can go off any moment. But the reason I want his card is that in Secret Club.....I know he's going to react to our touches and he makes that delicous pleasure face like he can't help it and mmmm this is fueling angel headcanons all over the fucking place for me. I swear I gotta make a self indulgent fic about how angels react to being touched after their cage is removed.
Tumblr media
And this is so fucking cute of Mammon....MC is just standing on stage ready to doing their thing and Mammon is waving at them like "Hi sweetie, you're doing great <3 Luv youuuu"
This is why I love him. But anyways the prolouge ends with MC unbuttoning Mike's shirt and I'm just sitting here like UGHHHHHHHHH at this point I'd pay for each story that comes out as a whole just so I can skip this whole you have to unlock it in the unholy board stuff....because honestly if PB told us "hey if you'd like to buy Michael's L-card story, pass us like $30 or $5 per chapter" I'd find a way to pay for that. I just want the stories at this point, this grinding stuff is wearing me out lol
I DIGRESS though. From the prologue alone it looks like this story is going to get s p i c y and if I'm right??? MC is probs gonna make him cum in front of the audience, so it's exhibitionism, humiliation, and degradation (really for all of the angels cards it seems because they're in a public place)
So it looks like I'm done reacting to this <3 Later today I'll try to get Raphael's done. Thankuuu for sitting with me

puppy love | kang yeosang
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: kang yeosang x gn!reader
genre: headcanon; e2l (i TRIED); co-workers au, volunteering at an animal shelter; fluff; angst if you really, really squint, crack (i’m nOT funny)
word count: 3.1k
rating: pg-13
warnings: none; one smooch, mayhaps a couple swear words (lowercase intended)
networks: @cromernet
author’s note: happy belated christmas from your secret santa, @armysantiny !! i really hope you’ll enjoy this and i sincerely hoped you spent warm holidays surrounded by people you loved! <3 i’ve tried my very best with the e2l but mAN writing it is so much less fun than reading it. big, huge, thanks to @hwaightme for giving me wonderful ideas to use and delulus to ponder so i could write this down. ilysm <333
kang yeosang is one infuriating individual. for one, there is no way anyone can be so praised and well-liked by literally everyone. not a day goes by where you don’t wonder how his small smiles and quiet attitude could bewitch every last person he talked to. not when he would not bother to say hi in passing to you specifically, or resolve to small nods and monosyllables when talking. to you.
it seems that you are the problem.
you and him work volunteer shifts at the same shelter. only, he deals with cats while you deal with dogs so it wasn’t like you’d see each other that often, but it was often enough to know he doesn’t like you.
not enough to say hi, engage in any sort of coversation or, least of all, help out if needed.
until christmas.
the shelter was decked out, you spent a whole afternoon helping out with decorations, along with yunho and yena, two other volunteers.
and yeosang.
the man almost laughed his ass off watching you balance on a ladder in the most uncoordinated way possible to avoid falling. arms flailing around and everything.
he just stood there, an ornament in his hands, with his stupidly cute smile and watched.
you sigh, scratching behind the ear of the latest rescue dog that was brought in. you like baxter, he is chill and his black, shiny fur does not show signs of him having had to live out in the streets all on his own for weeks anymore. you like him best because it looks like he is listening when you ramble on, in disbelief of the rudeness showcased, about yeosang.
just then, a call of your name sounds in the air, the voice coming from the front desk of the shelter.
“see you later,” you leave behind baxter’s toy, leaving him with one last pat on the head, and make your way to the front where hongjoong had called for you.
you smile upon entering the reception area as it had been a joint decorating effort between you, yunho and yena. the result was looking very much like an elementary school christmas project, but you enjoy the general vibe. the senior rescuer currently behind the counter, looking rather preoccupied with a few papers, however, had just shook his head dejectedly upon seeing the final result.
“i’m sorry to be doing this, but could you take the christmas day shift?” he looks apologetic as he asks, rushing to explain. “it’d only be a half day, I promise that by one you can leave, we’ve got the staff taking care of the other shifts and the morning one’s the only one left uncovered-”
“no worries,” you interrupt his rambling. “i’ll be there.”
hongjoong smiles, looking relieved only for a second, before his face betrays further worrying.
“what is it?”
“nothing, i,” he sighs, shoulders sagging upon seeing the inquisitive look on your face. “yeosang will be working the same shift.”
defeat. dejection. betrayed trust. you groan dramatically, barely hearing hongjoong say that you’d already agreed and it would not be that bad.
surely it’d make for an interesting christmas.
when you arrive on christmas morning, the night shift staff gives you a tired nod and you offer him a smile in return, quickly wishing him happy holidays.
you waste no time in doing the rounds, giving all the cute doggos their breakfast.
while going over the duty checklist left from the night shift staff you hear the bell jingle in the front and roll your eyes.
when you finally decide to go up front it takes a couple of minutes before yeosang finally comes into view.
decked out in his funniest ugly sweater it reads “here comes santa paws” and has a cat wearing a christmas hat on it and with his long hair tucked behind his ears, he’s coming up to you with an awkward air about him.
you squint your eyes in suspicion.
“merry christmas,”
you’re floored, shocked, gaping like a fish looking up at your co-worker who for the first time ever has spoken to you first.
“cookie?” he produces a tupperware from behind his back, carefully removing the lid to reveal the most crooked, ill-decorated christmas cookies you’ve ever seen. some look slightly burned. a gingerbread man has three eyes.
you’re still gaping, not in the slightest understanding how it's possible that he’s spoken to you first, and also not noticing how ever so slowly a blush starts to creep up on his cheeks.
maybe you’re hallucinating, but it snaps you out of your trance.
you quickly reach for the gingerbread man with three eyes.
“thanks,” you mumble, giving him a small smile. “merry christmas.”
yeosang nods, closing the tupperware and disappearing without a word.
so you’re left there, cookie in hand, not knowing what to do with this.
you stay put, eating your cookie, until you hear a loud bang.
you rush to the source of it, finding a very flustered yeosang surrounded by cat litter. at least it’s clean.
you hold in your laughter, seeing him stand there, look around and try to come up with a plan.
“a little help?” you pretend to wipe away tears, facing his deadpan expression.
“you would’ve let me fall from a ladder,”
“you would’ve survived,”
you scoff, turning around to grab the broom and toss it his way. Yeosang catches it, just barely.
“really?”
“you scared my dogs.”
with that, you leave him to his mess, going to comfort and play a little bit with the shaken up puppies.
it’s not until a little later that you show up at the front desk again, noticing yeosang is already sitting there, typing away on the computer.
he’s also got the phone pressed to his ear, helping out someone on the line with cat duties, speaking with his honey voice and a small smile on his face.
it’s almost mesmerizing seeing him wear an expression that’s not his usual blank stare he holds up around you.
“if you’re done staring, we’ve got hongjoong’s checklist to go through,”
just like that, you feel like a deer caught in headlights, heat pervading your face.
“sure,” you shrug, going over to him to take a look at it, trying not to stare at his smug pout.
deep down, very deep down, you think about kissing it away.
if he weren’t so unbearable. but he is. so.
the checklist read “lobby Ikea chairs”
you both looked at each other, confused, until you noticed the boxes hidden behind the counter.
there was a post-it on it that read: “good luck! -HJ”
simply infuriating. you’d lost count of all the times you had to resist the urge to roll your eyes or drop everything and go back to your dogs.
there was no trace of the cold, odd yeosang you were used to.
he’d casually sat down on the spot where you were assembling the Ikea chairs, picked up the instruction manual and waited for you to hand him the screwdriver. bewildered, you had.
that was about two hours ago, before trying to follow instructions had gone to your heads, when it was only extremely awkward and quiet while he read the manual and you tried your best to sneak glances at him. to figure out what possibly could have been going through his head, of course.
now you were busy trying to one up each other in an undeclared war of who is the best handyman, clearly having lost the main aim: building the damned chairs.
“you were supposed to put in the screw first and then the little wooden thingy.”
“does it matter?”
“does your chair look structurally sound?”
“listen, if we start over-” pinching the bridge of his nose and scrunching his eyes closed with a sigh, you stop him before he could finish his sentence.
“like hell we are, it took us two hours just to get to this.”
“exactly,” his deadpan tone leaves you no choice but to sigh.
“fine,” you give in.
you were going to kill hongjoong.
because it took you only two hours to realize all it took for yeosang to distract you were his hands working on assembling furniture, his voice asking you to pass him stuff and his silence.
if you hated it before, now you appreciated the quiet moments where all you could hear was the faint music coming from the radio and the occasional bark or meow that prompted one of you to stand up and go check on your animals.
of course it was because you didn’t have to hear his disdainful reprimanding, not at all because it gave you the chance to throw glances at him and how a few strands of hair escaped the clips pinning it back and framing his face very nicely. no, not at all. you still couldn’t stand him. mhmh.
once you finally finish building the chairs, he helps you set them up in exchange for the older ones, now piled up in the storage room.
it’s almost second nature for you to hold up your fist for him to bump.
it’s just a thing you do all the time with your friends but now you’re standing there awkwardly, fist mid air, yeosang staring at you very lost, eyes going back and forth from your face to your hand and of course now he’s not going to want to see your face ever again and you feel embarrassment slowly and steadily creeping in the more you stand there until
he fist-bumps back
a little puzzled, seemingly asking if he’s done the right thing with one look, before dropping his hand and clearing his voice
you do the same
“gotta go see the dogs,”
“yeah, no, me too… i mean, the cats, yeah, so-”
he turns around and speeds away.
you follow him.
“so how’re the cats?”
yeosang jumps on his spot, almost dropping the little mouse toy he was about to throw for a kitty to catch.
“sleeping, mostly,” he shrugs. “how’re the dogs?”
you motion for him to follow and, surprisingly, he does.
immediately, he greets the ones that are up or go up to him with a smile on his face that you’ve never seen.
it shines brighter than the sun and you find yourself smiling as well, seeing him crouch down and pat dogs left and right.
then you get a grip, not for long
it leaves you pleasantly surprised how he follows while you introduce him to every dog, how he listens while you explain why they’re there, their stories, their backgrounds
but then, while you try to get some of the dogs to play with you so he could finish the round of greetings, he reaches the puppies’ enclosure and enters it to sit among them
and while he tries to play catch with a couple, one makes his way into his arms
and when he looks down at the pup, he’s wearing the most adoring expression
like a kid seeing snow for the first time
it’s wondrous and starry and happy
and you’re staring as he softly pats the puppy’s head and coos at it
“what’s his name?”
you almost don’t answer, too focused on the scene unfolding and having trouble locating the information he’s asked for in your brain
“i don’t think he has one,” you mumble, patting baxter’s head
“sleepy,” he looks down at the puppy. “cause he’s asleep while everyone wants to play, you know?”
you just nod with a smile, or at least you hope it is because what the fuck
why are you losing your mind over yeosang cradling a sleeping puppy?
why is your brain recognizing just now that your stomach’s doing cartwheels? why do you want to look away but also keep staring?
“what’s this?” you think he’s speaking to himself, but you still catch the words leaving his mouth as he enquires the toy another puppy has just brought him
then yeosang looks up at you, eyes wide as saucers, and your heart drops for being caught staring
he doesn’t say a thing, but looks down prompting you to do the same
it’s the mistletoe chew toy
yunho’s brilliant idea of getting the dogs christmas themed toys
yeosang looks away throwing it
“yunho,” you start, catching your coworker’s attention. “yunho’s idea, to get them those.”
you offer him a pained smile as he nods, scratching his head.
“seonghwa too, for the cats…”
“ah, really?”
“yeah…”
you want to bash your head into the wall
but the phone saves you, so you dash to the front, escaping the burning flames of awkwardness
it turns out to be a family wanting to adopt as a christmas present for their kids
so you say that yes, you’re open and yes they can come in whenever
when they do, yeosang has re-emerged and stands beside you, silent like always
this time around, though, you fear he’ll hear your heart beating out of your chest at the proximity
why’s he so close?
you almost jump to greet the happy family of four when they walk in to the sound of let it snow coming from the radio
“we were afraid it wasn’t going to stop!” the dad says, brushing off some snow from his hat
turns out they’d like to adopt a dog
it surprises you that yeosang follows when you lead the family in but you try to pay him no mind
the kids seem to be enamored with every dog they see, their parents giving them free reign
they’re still very polite and don’t cause much ruckus or yell too loud, which you’re grateful for
“could you tell us more about him?”
you’re about to turn to answer the question, if it weren’t that yeosang’s already at it
he’s introducing the kids to baxter
“he’s been here for a while, he’s very fond of our y/n and his favorite snack is carrots. he doesn’t like loud noises all that much. his past owners left him here because they could no longer take care of him, but he’s looking to find a new home,” he speaks as if he’s always been taking care of him, like he hadn’t just learned all that stuff half an hour ago
and he has his smile on, the one who could charm and warm up even the coldest of hearts
except one detail
you didn’t notice the little girl facing the puppies enclosure
until you hear her go “that one’s sleeping!”
but you can’t tear your eyes away from yeosang and his can’t help but hear his soft giggle as he says “his name’s sleepy”
yeah you want to punch a wall just about now
though you have to snap out of it quick
because you’re now letting this nice family adopt baxter and can’t fuck up the procedure or hongjoong will have your head
“how’d you know?” you ask, a little melancholic but over the moon to finally see your baxter go to a family worthy of him, as you both watch the car pull out of the parking lot.
“know what?” when yeosang turns to look at you, it’s with a shadow of a smile and curious eyes, an expression you’ve rarely ever seen directed your way
you swallow hard before speaking next
“that baxter’s fond of me”
his eyes light up in recognition
yeosang swore no soul shall ever know of this
but now he feels his resolution coming apart under your waiting eyes
because truth is, he’s noticed
he notices everything about you
from how you walk in dragging your feet when you have an early morning shift, relying on your cup of coffee, to how you laugh loudly at yunho’s jokes, always get your favorite snack from the vending machines at just about the same time he goes to get his melon pan he does wait for you to be done before going up to the machines himself
and how deeply you care for the dogs and how you seem to have a soft spot for baxter
maybe he’s even heard you once or twice rambling on and on to him about how you don’t get why he doesn’t like you
truth is, he sees you, and he likes you
so much
too much
he’s afraid of doing the wrong thing, say the wrong thing and make you hate him
but apparently his plan had backfired immensely
that’s why he insisted hongjoong gave him and not seonghwa the christmas shift
he even baked stupid cookies to give you
“ah, well…” yeosang has no idea how to get out of this one. “you just seemed to like him a lot from the way you spoke about him”
you hum, not really convinced
yeosang notices though, just as he notices the car of the afternoon staff pull in under the snowfall to free you of your volunteering duties
it’s not long before the shift’s over and he’s not going to see you until after the holidays
so, as you part ways to say goodbye to the pets and grab your coats, he musters up some courage
under the snowfall, he calls your name
when you turn around his dark hair is lightly dusted with snowflakes, only making him look more ethereal, and his eyes are determined
you don’t know what’s up with you today and why suddenly he’s making you feel like a teenager dealing with their first crush under his gaze
“yes?”
he comes closer, much more than he’s ever been, so close that you’re frozen on the spot
“just wanted to let you know that you can redeem your mistletoe kiss whenever you want to”
there’s a smugness in his voice, in his pouty smirk and a sense of accomplishment shining clear in his honey eyes
have they always been this mesmerizing?
his words and his warmth leave you breathless for just a beat too long, until your eyes fall on his lips
when you look back into his eyes, his are already looking at you, waiting
“alright,” you mutter lowly, pecking his lips once, testing the waters
he places another peck on your lips and, before you know, you’re kissing him
it feels exhilarating, and soft, so soft, just like his lips. just like the hand that’s come up to cup your cheek, bringing you closer, deepening the kiss.
when you come up for air you giggle, yeosang following suit
“may i also interest you in a coffee?” he asks, hand still on your cheek, gently brushing away snowflakes before they melt. you smile.
“i thought you hated me,” it almost sounds like a question and your brow furrows when he clicks his tongue.
“have you ever heard about the concept of quiet, introverted people who feel highly intimidated by awesome, funny, pretty people?”
you laugh, finally presented with the answer to the question that most replayed in your head
“take me on a date, hilarious, quiet, handsome guy”
he blushes and you know he’ll blame it on the cold, but only brushes his nose against yours
and to think you thought he couldn’t stand you mere hours ago
now he’s here, making your heart melt like snow upon touching his perfect skin

Silly little assorted Hatchetfield Headcannons that don't warrant thir own individual post:
Paul is a pretty good cook, but not an excellent cook. Like, a 7/10. Above average. Sometimes his food comes out a little bland, but his chicken is never dry, and his pancakes are always fluffy.
Richie draws fan art. Ruth writes fanfiction.
Mr. Spankoffski's shoe store is in Lakeside Mall near Toy Zone, and he is on friendly terms with Frank Pricely. Sometimes when Pete is around he goes in there to look for action figures or Lego sets when he has spare cash. (Also Pete was helping his Dad in the mall during Black Friday, and Ted came when he heard what was going on to pick them up)
Boy Jerry didn't actually think Donna was guilty of murder in "Hatchet Town," he was just trying to get a promotion.
Richie makes cosplay tiktoks.
Despite being very good at swimming, for years Daniel's family thought he couldn't swim at all, because they never could see him doing it, and thought he was lying when he said he swam across the pool and back in a split second.
Ruth loves Be More Chill
Lex found out Santa wasn't real when she was 9 because Pam forgot/didn't bother to get her or Hannah gifts from Santa that year. When Lex asked, Pam confirmed it and said she's not doing it anymore. Lex has been making or buying Hannah a gift from Santa every year since, even after Hannah stops believing in Santa (it's a tradition at this point)
MacNamara and his husband have 3 kids. Their oldest son (Joey's army character, in tgwdlm, since apparently that was what he himself intended with his character portrayal), and 2 identical twin daughters about the same age as Hannah Foster.
Before she had to switch schools, Alice was the stage manager for the Hatchetfield High drama department, and Ruth was her underclassmen protégé (Ruth absolutely used to have a crush on her).

Christmas Wrapping
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Changbin x reader (established relationship)
Word Count: 2.1k
Genre: fluff fluff fluff
Summary: Your boyfriend is horrible at wrapping presents. How lucky that he has you to help him.
A/N: This isn’t proofread yet, but I couldn’t help but think of soft Christmas Binnie while I was wrapping presents today <3 Enjoy!
————————————————————————
“Oh lord.” It comes out of your mouth before you can stop it. Then, your statement is quickly followed by a snort and a laugh.
When you opened the door to you and your boyfriend’s shared apartment, the last thing you expected to see was him standing at your kitchen island wrapping presents.
Poppy Christmas music is playing loudly on the Alexa on the kitchen counter. He’s singing to himself, moving his hips back and forth to the beat.
The softest looking cashmere sweater stretches over his broad shoulders, dress pants barely containing his muscular legs.
He may be wrapping presents, but he’s the one that looks like a gift that’s only missing a bow.
The cherry on top was the Santa hat plopped on top of his curly hair.
‘Wrapping presents’ is a loose term though. The two parcels he’s done already are stacked on the counter with the worst wrap job you’ve ever seen in your life.
The edges were bumpy and lumpy, the paper jutting out in every direction. There was so much scotch tape on the paper you’re wondering if you should’ve picked some up on your way home.
Kicking off your shoes and hanging your coat up, you notice that Changbin hasn’t noticed you come home yet, he’s too wrapped up in his Christmas bubble— no pun intended.
When you pad up behind your cozy boyfriend, you slide your arms around his waist and hug him from behind.
Changbin jumps, startled, and makes a tiny noise of surprise.
“Hi, Binnie,” you coo, squeezing him tighter.
“Hello, my Christmas Angel.” His hands rest on top of yours.
His body heat already warming you up from the outdoor chill.
You peer around his shoulder down at the present in front of you. He’s about halfway through the Holiday Abomination he calls wrapping.
“What are you up to?”
He hums and reaches down to twist the half-wrapped gift around. “I knew we were going to be pressed for time before the party tonight, thought I would help with wrapping gifts so you didn’t need to rush.”
Your heart swells three sizes like the grinch, a genuine smile gracing your cheeks.
“Aren’t you sweeter than a Christmas cookie?” You move around to stand next to him and press a long, sweet kiss to his cheek.
When you pull away from his cheek, he’s quicker. Changbin sweetly grabs your face and presses his lips to yours for a long, delicate kiss.
Pulling away, he rubs your cheek with his thumb. “You’re home early, sugar plum.”
You giggle. He’s made it his mission since December first to call you every cheesy Christmas pet name he could think of.
“My boss let us loose for the holiday.” Once more, you wrap your arms around him, he turns to face you completely.
“How nice.” Another peck to your lips.
“More time to spend with my amazing boyfriend,” you say against his lips.
Changbin kisses you again. “Is he coming?” You pinch his side. He yelps and jumps in your arms.
Again and again he kisses your lips sweetly.
You don’t even bother opening your eyes in between them, you know he’s going to continue over and over again.
Eventually, the kisses move to your cheeks, to your nose, your forehead, anywhere he can reach.
Both of you are smiling like idiots, unable to stop your childish giggles.
“Okay, okay,” you laugh and push his chest to get him away from you.
Changbin whines. “One more, one more!”
“Okay, okay!”
He leans in and kisses your lips; it’s so soft and gentle. Every delightful emotion that comes with the holiday season is packed into it.
How did you ever spend a Christmas without him? All of those Christmas songs make sense now that you’re with him.
When you lean back to separate from the kiss, he leans forward more, grabbing your waist with both hands to keep you close to him.
The two of you are both so whipped for one another— it’s so sweet it could rot your teeth.
You laugh into the kiss, Changbin can’t help but smile against your lips. Your happiness is so contagious.
Turning your head, you wrap your arms around his neck and look down at the kitchen island.
He continues his assault on your face in spite of his ‘one more’ statement.
You can’t even be mad or upset at the terrible wrap job of the gift, he’s helping in whatever way he could think of.
But, my god, it’s so bad.
More and more laughter bubbles from your chest the longer you look down at it. How did he even do this horrible?
“Binnie, my dear?” you ask.
“Yes, my Christmas cookie?” he responds in between smooches.
“Have you ever wrapped presents before?”
Slowly, his kisses slow down, one by one until he stops and turns to look down at the present in front of you both.
His arms wrap around your waist even tighter, his cheek presses against yours.
God, the two of you are sickening to anyone but yourselves.
“Is it obvious?”
Yes. “No.”
You turn and kiss his cheek. “I think it’s great for your first time.” Kiss. “I’ll help you with the rest.” Kiss. “And I’ll show you an even easier way to wrap them.” Kiss.
He laughs against your face.
“Okay, okay, come on then, teach me how to wrap them, Betty Lou Who.”
Reaching up, you pinch his cheek playfully. “Don’t be a grinch.”
Chuckling, he pushes your hand away from his face, feigning pain.
You both turn and look at the present. “Here,” you say, turning it around a bit. “We’ll finish this guy and then do the rest.”
Changbin presses one last kiss on the crown of your hair and turns his attention to the poorly wrapped gift once more.
“Can you man the tape dispenser?” You grab the tape and hand it to him.
He nods, already ripping one piece off.
Assessing the damage, you go to work. It’s a box set of party games that you bought for Felix. He’s been hosting more get togethers at his apartment, and each time, he complains about not having any games to play.
You fold the paper around and make some cuts at the excess.
When you hold your hand out, Changbin sticks a tiny piece of tape to your finger. Smiling, you tape down the paper and spin the box to work on the sides.
You repeat this process over and over with the gift until it’s covered with green and gold paper.
Humming, you look around. “Do you wanna put a bow on it?”
Changbin giggles, “Yes.” He reaches for the bag and finds the bow with the most glitter on it and sticks it right in the middle of the box.
“Okay, now write his name on a label and stick it to the box.”
He follows your instructions and you grab the next present.
A new picnic basket set for Hyunjin. Changbin insisted this was the perfect gift for him.
Thank god it came in a box.
You roll out the sparkly paper and start measuring and cutting. Changbin watches closely over your shoulder.
Fold after fold, you wrap up the gift, your boyfriend continuing to hand you pieces of tape.
He hums and sings along with the songs playing over the speaker.
Before you could even ask, he slaps on a big bow and a premade label.
“Beautiful!” he cheers, picking up the gift to move it to the side.
He puts it with the other completed gifts. The stark difference between your handiwork and his makes you snort.
Three more gifts to wrap.
You grab the nice diffuser you bought for Chan. It came with several scents which you read were great for falling asleep; which he desperately needed.
Hovering over your shoulder, Changbin continues to watch your movements closely.
In between tape pieces, he kisses your neck and shoulders softly. Each press sends goosebumps down your arms.
Within a few minutes, the diffuser is wrapped, a bow placed on top with a label written out.
Changbin grabs the gift and moves it to the side.
You’re preparing to wrap the new knife set for Minho when you feel something placed on top of your head. A soft, white puff ball bounces in front of your eyes.
“Much better for my little snow Angel.” Changbin wraps his arms around you from behind, his nose tucking into your neck.
The Santa hat that now adorns your head matches his.
You lean into his warmth, it wraps around you like a blanket. To the slow rhythm of the music, Changbin sways the two of you back and forth.
You’re still able to reach the gift in his grasp.
Humming to the music, you continue to wrap Minho’s gift. Changbin picks up the tape and hands you pieces.
With the way he’s holding you, it’s like you have a second set of arms.
Which would be remarkably helpful this time of year.
The gift is wrapped before the song is over.
“You want to put a bow on this one?” you ask, turning your head to kiss his cheek.
Changbin looks over to where the bows and labels are on the counter. Dramatically, he reaches his hand out to them. “So far away,” he whines.
Quickly, his arm comes back to wrap around your middle. “Too far away, sorry.”
You kiss his cheek two more times, a dopey smile pulling at his lips. “Drama Queen.”
Pushing the gift to the side, you grab the last one. A laptop stand for Jisung. According yo Changbin, he’s been slouching to look at his in the studio.
“Can I wrap this one?” Binnie asks on your shoulder.
“Of course, baby.”
He releases your waist and comes around to your side. When you don’t move, Changbin looks down at you expectantly.
“What?” you ask with a laugh.
“Assume position, Mrs. Claus.” He motions behind him.
You laugh and grab the tape from him. “Oh, sorry, Mr. Claus.”
As soon as you’re behind him, Changbin reaches behind him to grab your wrists and wraps them around his body.
You’re barely able to peer over his shoulder or around his bicep to see how he’s doing.
Changbin hesitates for only a few seconds before rolling out the wrapping paper.
He smells so nice. You nuzzle your nose into his sweater. A clean, musky scent wraps around your nose. He smells like the holidays.
Your arms tighten around him.
“You’re bad at playing Tape Girl.” He pats your hand.
“My bad, there’s a hulking man blocking my vision.” You rip a piece of tape and hold it for him to take.
Changbin takes the piece from your fingers. “A muscular hunk, you mean.”
“A muscular, sexy, bulging, handsome man.”
“Oh, I like that better.”
You feel him flex his abs under your hands. Giggling, you squeeze him tighter.
There’s some movement, you rip another piece of tape. He takes it.
You take over his previous job of swaying to the music and humming behind him. The softness of his sweater feels so nice against your cheek.
His shoulder muscles move with each fold and turn off the present.
When you rip each piece of tape, he takes it gingerly.
It takes a lot longer than if you did it, but Changbin proclaims the present as finished after a few minutes.
Peering around his body, you warily take a look.
And much to your surprise, the present is neatly wrapped! It’s not perfect by any means, but it’s definitely better than his first two attempts.
“Wow, Binnie!” you say with a smile. “You learn quickly!”
He turns around, you move your arms up around his neck.
Changbin nuzzles his nose with yours in an Eskimo kiss. The two of you giggle like school kids.
His arm raises above your head. Pulling away, you look up to see him holding a small bundle of green ribbon.
“Mistletoe,” he says cheekily.
“That’s not mistletoe,” you tease.
Changbin kisses your cheek slowly, he moves all around your skin, skillfully avoiding your lips.
“Oh, it’s not?” Kiss. “I guess I can’t kiss you anymore then.”
He begins to pull away from you but you just as quickly yank his face back to yours.
“Come here, you big softie.”
He laughs and drops the ribbon on the ground, scooping you up with both arms to kiss your lips.
Each time your lips meet, it feels like the first time. Your heart lights up like a Yule log— his love is warmer than any fireplace, any mug of cocoa you could ever wrap your hands around.
His lips slide over yours slowly, making sure you feel every ounce of his love. Even your heartbeats begin to sync up.
“I love you,” you whisper in between kisses.
“I love you too, my sugar cookie.”

Hello hi, sorry to bother. But i'm in the middle fo righting my own ANGST and everything is horrible but i had a thought!
Have you ever had the idea of an AU where Jacqueline just fucking dies at the day of darkness? Just straight up bleeds out to death and dies. Jack is a full on child killer and Blinter is now back to only one kid. CATASTROPHE for sure, and the entire rest of the story never even happens. Everybody would stay frozen for an ETERNITY, Jack would have to go to jail for actual manslaughter, the works. But this idea has me thinking about what would happen anyway.
Im sorry that this thought is just incredibly morbid and sad, but i'm in my fictional world FEELS atm, and im very curious as to what this would look like/mean.
Me reading this:
Tumblr media
My fiancé when I read this out loud: ANDIE ARE YOU OKAY?? DO YOU NEED A HUG????
He then IMMEDIATELY ASKS ME WHAT I THINK WOULD HAPPEN, and he kinda let me use him like a rubber duck (because I've thought of a lot of "what ifs" on the day of darkness, but never this what if admittedly bc. Y'know. Magical healing springs and such) so here's what I've got for you on this fine angsty night! It turned into a bit of a drabble...whoops? Anyway.
Enjoy!!!!! I hope it kills us all dead!!! 😊😊😊😊😊😊
__
Jack succeeds in something he never intended to do.
He sees the icicles go right through his little sister's body, all three of them; he sees the blood. He sees the magic on his hand, he KNOWS that it was him. He sees Blaise and Winter make it out of the house.
He panics.
He leaves her there in the snow, and he runs, disappearing into his storm.
Blaise and Winter rush to Jacqueline. They see the blood. They see the icicles. They go into crisis mode.
Maybe they bring her inside and stop the bleeding, but it's too late. Maybe she bleeds out on the spot. Maybe one of the icicles actually hits her heart or another organ that is integral to being alive and she dies before she even knows what hit her.
It'd be nice to think that, wouldn't it?
However it may come to pass, Jacqueline dies. She's gone. Blaise and Winter lay her to rest in Roseterra, hoping that it was fast and quick and that she's being taken care of by someone warm and sweet in Rosehaven. Maybe Mother Gaia; maybe the Goddess herself.
What comes next is hard.
Both Winter and Blaise are overcome with emotion; they've just lost one child by the hands of their other child.
In one fell swoop, they've lost both their children.
Winter freezes almost immediately after the funeral. She's desolate in her sadness; lost not one, but two children because Jack is, in fact, wanted. She has no words. What can she say? All she can do is cry and sob it won't change a thing. It won't bring her back. Nothing can.
Blaise struggles. He now has to apprehend his own son for murder. Murder of his own sister; Blaise's dear, dear little girl.
It hurts.
It hurts to think about how this happened, given that Jacqueline adored her older brother, and he her. He taught her everything she knew up until...that point.
He knows what he needs to do. But he can't bring himself to find Jack and do it. There's just too many emotions. That's his son for the springs sake! But he killed someone. He killed his own sister, Blaise's little snow angel, and murder is murder and it's hard to think that maybe there's some good left when the brightest little sprite is gone thanks to his son. He's all out of hope.
Blaise knows what needs to be done. He knows what he needs to do.
And like he had centuries, millennia before that, he encases his heart in stone.
It's his duty to bring Jack to justice. And he will do what he needs to do to get it done. Emotions be damned.
So both Blaise and Winter are, essentially, frozen over.
And they begin to drift.
Both are frozen; both keep their feelings to themselves. they don't talk like they used to. They focus on their jobs and nothing more.
Winter does as she was meant to do. She keeps the season going. But the winters change. They are cold, so, so, so very cold. Bitterly cold. Temperatures hit negatives that should not be hit. Twenty, forty, sixty, all below zero. They're dry. So very dry. So very dry and cold and there is no snow; just hard ground, cold, cold, cold and frozen. A tundra with no snow.
The joy of the season is gone.
Blaise throws himself into his work. His duties come first. At home, he exists alongside Winter, both numbed by grief and their hardened hearts. At work, he does his governor duties in the morning, and devotes his afternoons to the search for Jack.
The search lasts centuries.
A week after leaving, Jack checks in, as he does in a better timeline, to see if Jacqueline made it. But here, in this timeline, when he pokes around for his dear little sister's link with him, it's gone. It's dead. The spot in his mindscape that once housed the bright blue thread is cold and dead. Empty. The wind howls; beyond the connection, there is nothing.
He knows what he did. He killed her dead. And he knows the consequences, of course; but he refuses to face them. He refuses to face any of the memories, the feelings, the everything that transpired when he flung his hand and shink shink shink and the deep, deep pool of red and the darkness where once there was light.
He stays under the radar. He avoids the Council; he hides. And he is DAMN GOOD at it. Blaise expends so many resources and cannot find the man anywhere.
The years turn into decades; decades into centuries. Blaise intensifies his search for his son, throwing everything he has, all his power as Governor, his connections to other Governors and powerful castors, The Council of Legendary Figures, the operation up North--but he cannot find the man who murdered his daughter. He cannot find his son anywhere, and were he able to feel anything, he'd be furious.
But his heart is stony; all he can focus on is the hunt. Doing his duty. Bringing his little snow angel justice.
"It won't bring her back," Winter says to him one day. Her hair is so frozen it doesn't move; her face cold.
Blaise doesn't reply. Ash floats off his sooty head. His face is stony.
Winter would sigh, if she could bring herself to. But she can't. All she feels is a sadness that is building and building and growing into despair.
The front door opens and closes.
Blaise doesn't look up.
Winter doesn't look back.
---
They drift further and further; they rarely see one another. Winter finds solace in the mountains. Longer and longer stretches. The storms surrounding Bianca's Range grow stronger and stronger. The peaks are obscured constantly, now. The drifting mists from the crystal springs themselves can't even break through the whiteout.
Longer and longer stretches.
One day, she leaves for her new home.
The house, silent before, grows more silent still. Long ago, they had dreamt of filling the house to the brim with little flurries and spitfires.
But that was almost three thousand years ago.
Now it is filled to the brim with ghosts.
---
Jack gets cocky.
Of course he does; Blaise hasn't found him and it's been centuries. He ventures out. Shows up to a Council meeting or two. Plots and schemes and harasses Santa after Santa. Tries to gain the recognition that should be his.
Denial can be quite powerful when you live in it for a millennium and almost a half. You trap the thoughts of what could've been, what you could've done together; what you could've experienced with her. First partner. First major snowstorm. Freeze drying. Taking back the season together. the things you could've done, together!
Down the thoughts go, into the deep dark recesses of his memory until they no longer emerge. He goes about his business, getting closer and closer to taking out Santa, and having some near-misses of his own with the man pursuing him.
But an opportunity comes up; one that's too good to let go. You cause a little trouble here and there, have these amazing standees made of yourself with your own holiday name, and suddenly the entire Council is up in arms. So you go; this will be a fun one to get out of, and maybe Mother Nature will be so distracted by the balance swaying, that she won't think to tip off the authorities. The Authority.
Jack admires Blaise's tenacity. The man has NOT stopped pursuing him. He understands why, of course. Fully. But before he can dwell on it, he shoves the thoughts down down down, as far under the ground as she was now, and continues to do his thing.
And that's when he hears about it. Well, two things.
First off, Santa is stressed. Work is too much and the wife is expecting and he is afraid. He is TERRIFIED even. Jack can see the fear on his fellow Legend's face. He's very familiar with it. He's seen it on many a Santa before. Many a poor soul freezing to death. Falling to their death off a slippery slope. Landing in a heap with three icicles deep through their chest, the blood pouring out--
Down. Down, down, down. Lock those thoughts away. Deep breath. Keep going. Escape Clause?
Escape Clause.
Now that's interesting. Even more interesting when the other Legends don't tell him what it is. That's fine. He's clever. He'll figure it out.
And he does.
And all it takes is a little messing about here, clever words there, frosty meddling on the side, turning Curtis against Bernie, the whole nine yards.
And the family.
Jack chuckles to himself. Humans. So easy to get them upset! Rile them up enough, cause a very upsetting scene, and voila! Trouble in paradise!
A brief segue before this, of course, to follow Santa and the redheaded brat to the Hall of Snow Globes. Waiting just behind the doors and watching the secret door spin; waiting for it to spin back around to get in. Ignoring the very familiar handiwork of the icy walls inside the space and going for the prize.
Bring the man aside at his lowest low, get him to say the magic words, and voila!
Jack was Santa now.
But it didn't bring her back.
---
Not that he thought it would, of course. He'd like to think she was six feet under his long lost memories, but that was a lie.
She was always there. In the corners of his eyes, gone when he whipped around. One room over, gone when he entered it. Ghosts of giggles past and whispers of whoops when she mastered a new technique. Always there. Always in the corners, just out of reach.
So maybe, he had hoped, just a bit mind you, that somehow, doing this would change things!
But it didn't.
She was still gone, and his parents?
As gone as she was when he flipped the script on Santa.
He had it all. He had nothing. And when Scott finally appeared, Jack would've willingly gave it all away and turned himself in--if the man hadn't cut him off.
It was infuriating.
A last ditch effort to fight him for the jacket; a guilt trip that went nowhere (stealing the coat was nothing compared to stealing a life), and they were back.
As if nothing had happened.
And Jack knew that his time had run out.
Blaise had caught up to him.
---
Mother Nature had told Blaise of Jack's presence as soon as she could. Told him he would be staying at the North Pole. He had a large window of opportunity. Mother Nature felt this could be it.
And so had Blaise. His stony heart grew loud; he wouldn't blaze in this time, no. He'd do what needed to be done.
He gathered the Elite Peacekeepers, the Peace Enforcers. The strongest of spell casters. The most ruthless of the fighters. He prepped his staff, making sure he had the right spells himself.
He covered all the exit points of the Pole; pulled some strings to keep his son from escaping.
Murderer, his head corrected.
His heart was silent.
Troops assembling, he made one last trek through the city, past the springs, through the Forbidden Forest and up the Valley to Roseterra.
Her mausoleum was well kept. It always was. Flowers bloomed around it; the most beautiful snow sat on the top, hugging the warm structure. It was all sorts of light blues and yellows, her name written clearly still after all these years.
"I've got him now," Blaise said. "I'll bring you justice, snow angel. I love you."
He presses his forehead against the writing, his hand warm on the inscription. His eyes pricked, but no tears fell; they hadn't in years. He placed his flowers down, the orange lilies and red roses contrasting beside the fresh blue roses and white lilies, little red snow berries in between.
Good, he thought. Winter's okay.
And without a second thought, he kisses the tomb and turns to leave, the moment he had been waiting for for fourteen hundred years finally coming.
---
The Elfficers get him; the Council has him in their grasp. There is no escape. And before anyone can do anything, the Peace Enforcers come in, a stony man leading them, a staff glowing in his hand. His face is steely. Determined. Familiar. Older.
"That's enough," he says, his voice hard and full of a cold rage. "It's over."
"I know," Jack replies, as the Peace Enforcers spin circles of magic and capture him.
He's brought in, finally. Blaise does Santa a kindness and thaws his relatives. He doesn't say anything to the man. Leaves before he can see the family celebrate, together. He doesn't need to see that. He doesn't want to.
Outside, he taps his staff on the floor. It glows a multitude of colours, and Jack can feel so many magical traps and seals settle on him.
The fight is over. Neither sprite have any of it left in them.
And Jack is brought to justice.
He escapes, of course. Multiple times.
But Blaise catches him each time, patching the flaw.
The rehabilitation programs don't work. He keeps trying and trying to escape and a prison, a prison akin to the mortal ones, is made just for Jack.
There are a few more escapes, but they lead nowhere. He's caught each time. Until finally, he stays put. Makes himself comfortable, freezes the building solid with him inside. Brought to justice. (But it didn't bring her back).
Up in the mountains, Winter manages a sigh when she hears the news. Brought to justice. But like she had known the weeks after her darling little girl had passed, like she had told Blaise what felt like eons ago but also, like it was just yesterday, it hadn't brought her back.
And Blaise sits in the empty home, the dust and cobwebs clogging up the surfaces and corners. A sad wind blows through the desolate halls, echoing from bare room to bare room, wailing. He sits at the faded and worn chair at his desk.
He brought Jack in. He caught his daughter's killer. He brought justice.
But it didn't bring her back.
Jacqueline was still gone.
Winter was still gone.
Jack was gone.
They were all still gone, so far gone, and Blaise knew deep down, that he, too was gone.
And nothing could bring him back.
Nothing could bring any of them back.
Not even him.
---
(Comfortably hidden away in the East, The Man chuckles to himself, leaning back in his plush armchair and throwing his feet up on the ottoman below him, a roaring fire crackling in the fireplace. He chuckles to himself. He had heard the news. Blaise had lost everything.
The Man's lips quirked into a sneer of a smile. A simple curse was all it took; and a little bit of time, and boom. Blaise's life? Ruined. The Man closed his eyes, satisfied at last.
He had done it.)

Bubz's Slasher Fictober Day 7: The Lost Boys x Reader (Poly) (Apple Cider)
And with that the first week of Fictober is over with! I hope you've all enjoyed the first 7 fics of this wonderful month and I hope you all stick around to enjoy the rest <3
Notes: Minors DNI, This one still isn't smut but do stay tuned for later in Fictober (wink wink). No pronouns or descriptions of reader used. This is a poly relationship fic so if you aren't into it this isn't the fic for you. (Not my gif but i loved it too much not to use) I used a lot of creative liberties in this so if it doesn't seem 100 percent canon that's why.
Fic specific notes: Star doesn't exist in this neither does Laddie.
Tumblr media
Rays of the light from the moon were peaking through the clouds as the coolness of the nighttime descended on Santa Clara. You had been awake for a couple hours and knew once the night came the boys would be ready to proceed with what you had promised them a year ago on the dot.
A year ago to the day was when David first brought it up.
"Become one of us" He rasped at you one night after a night out at the boardwalk.
At first you hadn't thought you heard him correctly, One of them? There was no way he meant a vampire? could he? Marko butted in before you could ask him.
"Yeah c'mon babe, You've been with us almost two years now we want you to be with us forever" You glanced at Paul and Dwayne and they both smirked and nodded.
You told the four that night that you wanted nothing more then to be one of them and be with them forever, but you needed time to process what that would mean for you. You promised them if they waited a full year you would drink the blood and become theirs forever. The past year had flown by and in reality felt like you had only had a week to process.
One by one you could hear the boys wake deeper into the cave and one by one in that order they emerged into the main room where you rested behind the sheer curtains that surrounded the bed.
Marko, Dwayne and Paul as usual entered first but as on any other day they stalled back waiting for David. David entered the main room a few minutes later fully dressed in his normal gloves and trench coat and approached your bed slowly and casually. He used a gloved hand to pull one of the curtains away from the bed and leaned over you with his other hand at the side of your face on the bed.
"Darling, I think you know what time it is" You opened your eyes to look up at one of the men you had promised yourself too a year ago but had been with for 3.
"Doesn't max have to be here?" you asked, you knew the answer was no but you still wanted to stall for as long as possible. David fixed you with an unamused look.
"Of course not doll, But you knew the answer to that, C'mon let's get you up and ready we have all night but we'd like to go to the boardwalk at some point" David said grabbing your hand and helping you sit up.
You noticed the other 3 had disappeared off somewhere probably to get a few things in order for you after you drink the blood. You placed your feet on the side of the bed and stood up pulling the shawl you were sleeping in tighter around you as the chill of Santa Clara night hit you like a truck.
"You're nervous" David stated, You turned to look at him and he chuckled a bit.
"The nerves are rolling off you like waves" He continued "Though I'm not sure why, You aren't second guessing this are you?" He asked you incredulously, You swiftly shook your head.
"Of course not David, that isn't it at all" He still stood next to the bed staring at you, you sighed.
"It's just, I don't know. What if the blood doesn't take or something, what if it goes wrong and makes me sick or something. I want to be with you guys forever but I'm so scared David" His face soften and he brought a gloved hand to your chin to bring your eyes to his.
"My love Max explained to you the worst things that can happen, Even if the blood doesn't take at first me and the boys are prepared for any situation. Even if something goes wrong we aren't going to let you get hurt, you just have to trust us darling" You sniffled with unshed tears in your eyes. David had a soft side but it was rare that he showed it.
Dwayne entered the room and fixed you with a worried look before turning to David.
"Everything is ready if you are David, Is everything ok?" Dwayne asked. You nodded and smiled at him.
"I'm fine hun. Just got a little nervous" You said wrapping your arms around Dwayne's middle, he pressed a quick kiss to your forehead.
"Well I guess that settles it then Dwayne, tell Marko and Paul that we're ready" Paul turned to leave and you grabbed his hand into yours and followed, David coming behind the two of you into the section of the cave where David's makeshift throne sat.
Marko and Paul had matching grins upon seeing you and you knew they were just as excited and anxious as Dwayne and David were even if Dwayne and David were better at their poker faces then the younger two vampires.
David stepped away from the group to walk up to the throne and grab the bottle that held the blood. Marko and Paul came up and wrapped their arms around you seemingly keeping you in place in case. Marko leaned over to your ear while David got the blood ready.
"Once you start drinking don't stop until David tells you, you might faint or pass out but me and Paul got you. If you do you'll wake up in an hour or two and we'll all take care of you till your fully turned" You nodded at him and gave him a small smile to try and show you weren't nervous.
David stepped forward and held out the encrusted wine bottle to you.
"Here Darling, Let's get this show on the road" He uncorked the bottle and handed it to you.
"Like Marko said, Don't stop drinking until I tell you too ok?" You nodded bringing the bottle up to your lips and with a final nod from David you took mouth full of the blood.
The metallic taste was sharp as the cold liquid made it's way over your tongue and down your throat as you swallowed the first mouth full of blood. Without any indication from David you took another drink followed by another. After the fourth mouth full you were feeling lightheaded.
"That's good enough" David said gripping the bottle and gently taking it from your hand. You let him take the bottle as you stumbled lightly. Your head was swimming in a way you had never experienced before, your vision was blurry.
Marko and Paul tried their best to steady you as you stumbled back and forth between the two of them like a ping pong ball.
"Get to the bed Marko" You heard David command before your world went black.
================================================
Two hours and some change later you awoke again. You were having the most weirdest vivid dreams before you woke up in a cold sweat sitting straight up in bed.
You immediately noticed all four of your boys sitting in chairs placed in different areas around your bed. You gather the blankets around yourself to try and fight off both the cold night and the shivers in your own body as your boys start to gather around you.
Paul reached you first and moved the hair from your eyes to place a hand on your forehead before looking to David.
"No fever" He said, David nodded.
"Good, I want us to check every hour or so to make sure" He said to all the boys. Dwayne leaned down and put his hands on your cheeks.
"How are you feeling?" He asked
"I'm ok, Just really cold and my stomach feels gross" You said, Dwayne nodded.
"That's normal angel, You're gonna have to deal with it till it breaks unfortunately" You nodded but inwardly groaned.
"By tomorrow night your probably going to feel some pain in your jaw area accompanied by more cold sweats and possible stomach aches, that's how you know it's time for you to feed" David stated, you looked up at him.
"We don't want you out there hunting yet till your better and we can teach you, so you'll stay here tomorrow night while we bring you food" Marko said from beside him.
"A fledgling" Dwayne said.
"A what?" He laughed at your confusion.
"That's what you are dear, A baby bat"
"Our little baby bat!' Paul exclaimed laughing out loud, you joined him.
Once you were able to conquer the mountain of fear and nerves the other side was much easier to deal with. Sure it didn't feel the greatest but if it meant spending eternity with your boys then it was a sacrifice you were willing to take ever since they had found you all those years ago they had shown you nothing but a level of love and protection you had never experienced before and you wouldn't know what to do if you didn't have that anymore.
You stretched your arms above your head and craned your back into a stretch while yawning.
"When do I get to learn how to fly?" You asked them at once, they all laughed before David answered.
"All in due time my love, All in due time"

Sometimes the struggles we go through to be ourselves can be as rewarding as the end result.
A pretty breezy one here. Only content notes are surgery mention and needle mention. No gore to be found, no sex neither. Just good ol' fashioned yearning.
This is definitely a bit of a right angle to my usual stuff. There's no horror, it's light on dialogue, but its in a very similar space to a lot of the other stuff, just a different way of going at it.
Daughter of Elysium
I scheduled the surgery without telling my parents. They wouldn’t understand.
When I came out as trans they were supportive, in perhaps the slightly awkward way that cis people tend to be when they want to be accepting of things they don’t understand. This was different though.
I sat in the waiting room of the clinic in Montevideo, lined with faux wood paneling and sleek glass. Peak 2010s architecture. An older building, but the clinic’s reputation spoke for itself. There was no way I was going to get this procedure done in North America. Too expensive, too niche.
Too many hoops to jump through, too. Go see this doctor, talk to this therapist. Walk with these crutches. Practice with this fake charger for a year. Bullshit, all of it. I just wanted to be me.
So I saved money where I could. I slept in the heat of the Californian summers, kept the lights off early in the winter, rode the train to work, ate cheap meals, canceled all my subscriptions, lived in a 300 sq foot apartment in Watsonville.
3 years and $100,000 Californian Dollars later, I got on a train in Santa Cruz for a 3-day journey to Uruguay.
It was late June, a few days before the solstice. This far south of the equator that meant the sun rose late and set early. It was early morning, a quarter to 7, and 5 hours ahead of California time. I was used to being awake at night, but that only made the early sunrise more disorienting.
“Lewis, Kara,” a thrill of adrenaline rushed through me as the receptionist called my name. After reciting my birthday to confirm my identity, I was taken back to preop. I changed into a surgical gown and then lay down on a gurney while a nurse ran an IV to my arm and started saline. I thought about asking what happened once the arm was removed, but I figured it wasn’t worth the explanation.
For the next 10 minutes I stared at the clock. I hadn’t brought anyone with me. This was something to do for me, by myself. No partner, no friends. I had brought a bag with one change of clothes, my passport, and my phone. I thought about calling my friend Cory, but decided against it. No sense in getting anyone worried. As far as the outside world was concerned, I was on vacation.
I guess that wasn’t too far from the truth.
At 7 sharp, a couple of orderlies came in, checked my name and date of birth, and released the brakes on the gurney. They wheeled me out into the chilled hallway, and through the double doors into the operating room.
Inside the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, and several techs were waiting. A nurse placed a mask on my face and told me to count backwards from ten. A sweet, chemical smell filled my nostrils, and the world faded out.
* * *
It wasn’t the first time I’d had surgery, so the novelty of coming up from the anesthesia surprised me. Rather than the slow, heavy feeling I’d expected, it was like waking up from a nap. Disorienting, but in a cozy way. Nothing hurt. I hadn’t expected that. Probably the painkillers were still feeding in.
I tried to open my eyes, but my lids only twitched slightly. I heard one of the nurses say “You’re awake! The doctor will be in to see you soon. Everything went well, congratulations.”
I tried to reply, but my jaw moved jerkily and I had trouble forming words. The result was a disjointed grunt emerging from my mouth. But I could tell that I had a mouth, which was good.
The nurse left. I could hear his shoes squeaking off into the distance. As they faded, the thrum of the HVAC replaced it, and an occasional mechanical whirring near me. My eyes were still closed, and for the first time I noticed the green letters in the corner of my vision. Instinctively, I tried to look at them, but they moved with my eyes. After a time I was able to make them stay put long enough to look at them.

I managed to open my eyes after a few minutes. At first it was all much too bright, everything blown to white, but after a few seconds my vision dimmed to a comfortable level. I focused on a tiny hole in the floating ceiling above. After a moment, I managed to zoom my vision in.
I marveled for a time at the detail in the ceiling. This mass-produced object, fiberglass and paper, contained so much beauty. How many times had I stared a ceiling like this without noticing?
The doctor came in and reaffirmed that everything had gone well. She told me that rehab would start in a few days, once my new body’s systems stabilized and adjusted to neural commands. I tried to smile but couldn’t manage to get my face to move right.
The doctor chuckled and plugged a display into a port on the back of my new neck. She held it up to me, and I watched as the words “What is this for?” appeared on it. She explained that until my vocal rehab started to kick in, this display would help me communicate.
She told me to raise my arms out to my sides. I struggled with this task for a moment before finally managing to do so. For the first time I got a look at the body I’d picked out from the inside.
Gray plating, seams that slid over each other, an unapologetically mechanical body. I’d wanted that. They’re getting good at synthetic skin these days, but I wanted to distance myself from humanity. There was nothing wrong with humanity, but it never spoke to me. I’d always been somewhat apart.
* * *
I slept most of that first day. The next day they let me eat. The bioprocessor seemed to be working, the staff said, but I should keep it light, and stick to carbs rather than fat and protein until the new tract could build up a sufficient biome to support those.
Odd as it sounds, it was 36 hours post-op before I realized I hadn’t peed. The charging station that I hooked into took care of filtration and detox of what little biomass I had left. I felt suddenly elated. I actually tried to get up out of bed, and promptly tripped over my own foot, smashing my face against a wall.
The nurses rushed in, worry on their faces, but I couldn’t stop laughing, and that’s when I heard my voice.
It wasn’t like my old voice. It wasn’t cold and computerized, but warm, and rich, like an old Roland Jupiter, full of dense harmonics, singing highs, and comforting, enveloping lows.
Soon I was sitting on the floor, sobbing. My eyes didn’t water anymore, but I still went through the motions. I held my gray plastic hands to my face, and touched them to my cheeks. I felt the subtle vibrations as motors moved my eyes around. I had never felt so happy, so myself. So real.
* * *
After a week I was able to clumsily walk around the hospital room, and they moved me to the recovery house. I met a few other converts there. There was a girl named Morgan from Seattle, a guy named Case from Kansas City, a few others. I mostly kept to myself.
I started speech therapy shortly after the move. Lots of reading convoluted sentences, but also singing, reading poetry, even some play-acting. I grew to love my voice. It was obviously synthetic, but that only made it feel more like a part of me.
Motor therapy was interesting. They asked me if I played any instruments. I told them I played bass. The therapist walked to a closet and returned with a bass made entirely out of carbon fiber. I asked why they made it from that, the therapist told me I’d see shortly, and handed me the Bass.
I immediately gripped the neck with far more force than I’d intended, denting the frets and the strings. I said I understood now.
Time flew. The solstice came and went, and by August I could speak clearly, play “Highway Star,” and wash my own chassis without damaging it. I could dress myself. I could walk without tripping over my feet.
On an evening in early August, I bade farewell to my fellow converts at the recovery house, and made my way to the train station. I could have taken a cab, or the bus, but I opted to walk. It was 8 miles and took all night, but I enjoyed every moment of it. Never tiring, stopping for food to recharge myself here and there at convenience stores and night markets.
I settled into my roomette for the trip back to Santa Cruz, looking out at Montevideo Bay. I saw my reflection in the window of my train, and for the first time, really took it in, with eyes that were my own.
