the way these past two episodes have made it abundantly clear that eddie is the best dad but he will never ever have to be that alone. his instincts for christopher are spot on but he will always have buck to be his coparent and partner and that's how he WANTS it. he WANTS buck to tell him to do what he knows he needs to do and he TRUST him to always know what's best for chris

It would have been so much better if Eddie put the last box down and all three; Buck, Eddie, and Christopher looked around the living room that is completely cluttered and disorganized

And Eddie says “its a bit cramped but we’ll make it work” and he pats Buck shoulder

And Buck would say “yeah, we will”

Then Chris would say something about going to a party so he doesn’t have to help put stuff away (the writers are gonna make Chris be at a sleepover or with his cousins all the time now😂)

So... Bets for tonight's episode...

Eddie thinks Chris is thriving in Texas, but it actually all comes to a head when he realises his Dad has been treating Chris exactly like they treated Eddie when he was Chris' age.

Chris ends up throwing up on the chess board out of panic, Eddie talks his son out of a panic attack in the bathroom and that's where Chris admits Ramon has been pushing him so much with chess.

Eddie blows up at his parents and starts floating the idea of moving back to LA with Chris because he sees the cycle repeating itself again!

(Bonus, if Eddie screams and shouts about what his parents have done/ been doing to Chris, to Buck, on Facetime)

they’re not even subtle with the way they’re presenting buck and eddie and chris as a family unit. buck and eddie taking turns with the grocery shopping and having couples fight in the kitchen and snapping at each other and hurting each other. then they make up. eddie once again cheering buck up by bringing him chris. and it works. of course it does. pepa said finally someone is cooking in the kitchen. they’re gonna be living together. all three of them. okay. oh my god.
