Dean Obeidallah at The Dean's Report:
It’s a “coup!” declared hysterical Republicans.  Were they talking about Donald Trump’s efforts after the 2020 election to overturn the election for which he’s currently facing criminal charges in both federal court and Fulton County, Ga?! Nope! What Republicans from JD Vance down were calling a “coup” was President Biden dropping out of the 2024 race. (I’m serious!)  Arkansas US Senator Tom Cotton wrote on X shortly after the news broke, “Joe Biden succumbed to a coup by Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and Hollywood donors, ignoring millions of Democratic primary votes.”  “The coup is complete,” wrote Trump loving Representative Paul Gosar from Arizona. That was followed by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene who also echoed the claim we witnessed a “coup” with Biden dropping out.
Talk of a coup even made it all the way to the top of the 2024 GOP presidential ticket when—in an interview that aired Monday--Fox News host Jesse Watters asked Trump and his running mate JD Vance, “Is it a coup against Joe Biden?” Vance responded point blank, “Yeah, I think it is.” Trump though—perhaps reflecting on what he did after the 2020 election—was uncharacteristically sheepish, offering Watters only this two word answer: “Sort of.”
Back on planet earth, we know that Biden made the decision to drop out for the same reason politicians have chosen to end their campaigns since time immemorial. As NBC News reported, in reaching his decision, Biden reviewed along with his family and top aides extensive polling data, including how Vice President Kamala Harris would fare in a potential matchup against Trump. It’s true Biden was not happy with the growing calls to drop out after his deeply troubling debate performance three weeks before. However, as NBC News noted At the end of it all, “Biden came grudgingly to accept that he could not sustain his campaign with poll numbers slipping, donors fleeing and party luminaries pushing him to exit.”
That led us to Sunday afternoon when Biden released a letter that informed the nation, “While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term.” (President Biden is addressing the nation on Wednesday night where we will find out even more of the details.) That’s not a coup. That is what American politics and democracy have long looked like. True, given it was a president dropping out only a little more than a hundred days from the election, it was both jarring and history making. But at the end, Biden made what he believed was the best choice for himself, his family, his party and his country.
[...] Trump attempted a coup in every sense of the word. Despite losing the 2020 election, he attempted to overturn the results to remain in power. That is why the federal indictment against Trump charging him with four felonies states, “Despite having lost, the Defendant [Trump] was determined to remain in power.”   To that end as the indictment continues, Trump “pursued unlawful means of discounting legitimate votes and subverting the election results.” Trump’s “criminal scheme”--as the indictment describes--included replacing legally elected electors to the Electoral college with fake ones chosen by his campaign to deliver Trump the victory he didn’t actually win. Trump’s illegal plan also included preventing Congress on Jan 6 from certifying the legitimate votes cast for Joe Biden--despite Trump losing every court battle to invalidate these very votes. Then there was the brutal Jan 6 attack on our Capitol, which FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress was an act of “domestic terrorism.” As the Jan 6 House committee’s final report put it: “The central cause of January 6th was one man, former President Donald Trump, whom many others followed,” adding, “None of the events of January 6th would have happened without him.”
Dean Obeidallah debunks the right-wing bad faith “coup” attacks against Joe Biden, and rightly points out that replacing Biden with Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee (before the nomination was formalized) is NOT a coup, but the Capitol Insurrection on January 6th, 2021 and Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results were most definitely one.

As The Hill reports, allegations of wrongdoing surfaced when one of Trump’s co-defendants, Mike Roman, accused Willis and Nathan Wade — a married man whom she appointed to prosecute the RICO case against Donald Trump despite his having exactly zero experience in prosecuting such cases — of engaging in an “improper” romantic relationship.
Somehow, though, “improper romantic relationship” doesn’t begin to do it justice. For example, Willis paid Wade nearly $654,000 in legal fees in 2022 and 2023, and she benefited from the relationship in the form of lavish vacations they took together on the taxpayer dime. Willis also said she paid Wade and the two other special prosecutors she appointed “the same hourly rate.” Turns out that was a lie. In fact, Willis paid one of the state’s top racketeering experts, John Floyd, $150 an hour, but she paid the inexperienced Wade $250 an hour.
Caught red-handed, Willis eventually went public to defend herself, but not at a press conference where she might be questioned by the media. Instead, she went to church on Sunday — specifically, Atlanta’s historic black Big Bethel AME Church — where she gave the congregants a 35-minute woe-is-me sermon. It wasn’t a good look.
The New York Post editorial board agrees. “So where’s the Willis investigation?” it asks. “Last spring, Gov. Brian Kemp signed a new law establishing an eight-member commission to investigate and remove district attorneys for sufficient cause. Willis’ blatant breaches of ethics plainly require the new State Prosecuting Attorneys Statewide Qualifications Commission to act ASAP.”
All this makes one wonder not only whether Willis will be forced to step down but also whether Georgia’s attorney general, Christopher Carr, has the guts to pursue criminal charges against her.
Finally, a word of advice for the people of Fulton County: This is what you get when your DA is a clown. Do better.

Sarah Vaughan performing “They All Laughed”.
Previously posted: Rachael Price with Chris Thile and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band performing this song. __________________ They All Laughed Music composed by George Gershwin; Lyrics by Ira Gershwin
The odds were a hundred to one against me The world thought the heights were too high to climb But people from Missouri never incensed me Oh, I wasn't a bit concerned For from histry I had learned How many, many times the worm had turned They all laughed at Christopher Columbus When he said the world was round They all laughed when Edison recorded sound They all laughed at Wilbur and his brother When they said that man could fly They told marconi Wireless was a phony Its the same old cry They laughed at me wanting you Said I was reaching for the moon But oh, you came through Now they'll have to change their tune They all said we never could be happy They laughed at us and how! But ho, ho, ho! Whos got the last laugh now? They all laughed at Rockefeller center Now they're fighting to get in They all laughed at Whitney and his cotton gin They all laughed at Fulton and his steamboat Hershey and his chocolate bar Ford and his misery Kept the laughers busy That's how people are They laughed at me wanting you Said it would be, "hello, goodbye." But oh, you came through Now they're eating humble pie They all said wed never get together Darling, lets take a bow For ho, ho, ho! Whos got the last laugh? He, hee, hee! Lets at the past laugh Ha, ha, ha! Whos got the last laugh now? "

The Grand Ducal Wedding Part 3
Bordeaux Abbey, Violette, Bordeaux
Tumblr media
Sophie: The Emperor is shaking hands with the ArchBishop, it appears the Emperor is wearing his Imperial Airforce uniform with his officer cover while the empress looks lovely in her green polka dotted dress before the head into take their places. As the crowd starts to roar and we get to see the moment we’ve been waiting for all day!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sophie: It is Her Highness the Duchess of Carlisle in a stunning gown by Carrington Designer Pauli. The Duchess is also honoring a Pierreland tradition by carrying a bouquet of blue roses. She just looks so stunning and happy! It appears as if she is wearing the Carlisle Tiara as well..
Pierre: Next to her and escorting her down the aisle is her twin brother, Lord Sebastian of Carlisle. There they are giving the crowd a bit of a wave before they head into the abbey to join their bridal party.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sophie: And we are seeing the Imperial Orchestra and Organist Patricia Year begin to play the a traditional Carrington processional (click link to play for an imersive experience) for the bridesmaids and groomsmen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pierre: Down the Aisle first are TIH Crown Prince Louis and HIH Princess Maria Aisha followed by HIH Prince Henri and Lady Beatrice of Asbury. All looking stunning in the dark green dresses for the ladies and the navy suits with green ties for the two princes.
Sophie: I’m also loving the trees and how they have opted to decorate the space, creating a fairy tale like atmosphere
Pierre: Now Heading down the aisle is the Archbishop but wait…pan your cameras to the back..
Tumblr media
Sophie: A Twin moment indeed. The three Carlisle siblings are in this moment together…now realizing that soon they are going to be adding a fourth person to their group…also the pride you can see on Lord Sebastian’s face
Pierre: They are also probably thing about their father…I mean, who wouldn’t on a day like today And they are now getting ready to head down the aisle…the song is now changing to...aww I love this song which is being sung by Pierreland pop star Jean-Christophe Coustier and an Imperial College of Music scholarship recipient, Emilie Fulton.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pierre: first we see Prince Kristoff coming up the aisle as the ring bearer! Glad to see those rings are firmly held in place!
Sophie: Even royal prince ring bears can’t help but want to rush to their seat!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pierre: The Duchess of Carlisle looks absolutely stunning and you can definately see that supportive hand hold they are having in this moment, truly touching
Tumblr media
Sophie: And we are getting a full aerial shot of the bride, and the dress as well as the groom, who is facing the altar with his best man…We also see that the quire section is made up of Emperor David, Empress Katalina, Queen Anastasia, the Duke of Clois, the Dowager Duchess of Carlisle, Isabella Villa and Captain Villa.
Tumblr media
Pierre: And we see Lady Alex taking her sister’s bouquet as the Grand Duke hugs his future brother in law. I bet the holidays will be difficult seeing as he now will have 2 brothers in law named Sebastian. And they are now up at the high altar…
Tumblr media
Archbishop: Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here in the sight of the Watcher to join these two souls, Edmund and Diane, in matrimony. Now to the Couple, I must ask, are you both here of your own free will. Without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly?
Tumblr media
Edmund: I have.
Diane: I have.
Archbishop: Are you prepared as you follow the path of Marriage to love and honor each other for as long as you both shall live?
Edmund: I am.
Diane: I am.
Archbishop: Are you both prepared to accept children from the Watcher?
Edmund: I am
Diane: I am.
Archbishop: You have both given your consent to this marriage. If anyone has any reason as to why these two must not marry…speak now or forever hold your peace. [Long silent pause] Very well then.
Tumblr media
Archbishop: Now Edmund, you may say your vow.
Edmund: I, Edmund Jeffery David, take you Diane Eliza Isabella for my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do us part. Through the darkest of storms and the brightest of days. I vow to stand by your side every day for the rest of my life and to never stop loving you.
Tumblr media
Pierre: I find it sweet that the Grand Duke has shed a tear here…I think the vows are emotional for both of them…due to the Duchess losing her father to illness and the Grand Duke losing his father to war prior to his birth and his mother to a horrendous car accident that led up to him being born.
Sophie: these two definitely know that they are making a life long commitment and its beautiful. Also…yes for nontoxic masculinity from the Grand Duke! I love he also tacked on the ending that was used during the wedding of now Queen Anastasia and the Duke of Clois
Tumblr media
Archbishop: And now you Diane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Diane: I, Diane Eliza Isabella, take you, Edmund Jeffery David, to be my lawfully wedded husband. To love and to cherish, to care and to comfort, through sickness and health, through poverty and wealth. Through the darkest of storms and the brightest of days. I vow to stand by your side every day for the rest of my life and to never stop loving you.
Archbishop: May the Watcher in his kindness strengthen the consent that you have declared before the Church and bring to fulfillment his blessing within you. What the Watcher joins together, let no one put asunder. And now…may I have the rings.
Tumblr media
Kristof: HERE YOU GO!
[Cowd slightly chuckling]
Edmund[whispering]: Why thank you Your Royal Highness! Good Job Buddy!
Diane[whispering]: Good Job Kris, now go sit next to your sister.
Tumblr media
Archbishop: Bless and sanctify your servants in their love, O Watcher and let these rings, a sign of their faithfulness, remind them of their love for one another. Now Edmund, you place the ring on Diane’s finger.
Tumblr media
Edmund: Diane, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. With this ring, I give you my heart. From this day forward, You shall never walk alone. My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home.
Archbishop: And now you Diane.
Tumblr media
Diane: Edmund, receive this ring as a sign of my love and fiedelity. With this ring, I give you my heart. From this day forward, You shall never walk alone. My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home.
Archbishop: Watcher, maker of the world, you created us in your image. Bless this Bride, Diane and upon Edmund, her companion for life, and may you set their hearts aflame as they live our their marriage, that they adorn their family with children and enrich the Church. We ask of the Watcher
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All: Amen
Archbishop: And it is my greatest honor to present to you all, Their Highness’s the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Bordeaux, Duchess and Duke Consort of Carlisle, Earl and Countess of Gironde, and Baron and Baroness of Lacanau, Edmund and Diane!. Your Highness, you may kiss your bride.

Are we there yet?
“As Liberalism did not create moral ideals, so, too, it cannot preserve them. It lives on the spiritual capital that it has inherited from Christian civilization, and as this is exhausted something else must take its place. Once society is launched on the path of secularization it cannot stop in the halfway house of Liberalism, it must go on to the bitter end, whether that end is Communism or some alternative type of totalitarian secularism”.
~ Christopher Dawson, Religion and the Modern State (New York: Sheed and Ward, 1935), p. 64 [footnote* Fulton J. Sheen; Communism and the Conscience of the West. p 224].

The cast is the well known and very good from previous parts with the good additions of the children, which perform really well. This part, although shows again the chaotic life of Xavier, feels, somehow more coherent and luminous, as if the pieces would be finally fitting. Maybe the best way of summarizing the series and the conclusion is with the conversation that Xavier and Martine have by the end of the film in which Martine tell Xavier...

SMART BOMB
The Completely Unnecessary News Analysis
By Christopher Smart
May 30, 2024
SECOND COMING, COMING EARLY
OK Wilson, when Salt Lake City taxpayers pony up $1 billion what will they get for their money? It's a mystery — sort of. The Salt Lake City Council, considering raising all that dough in taxes, held a public hearing so Salt Lakers could weigh in on the new hit to their wallets. A lot of people trudged down to City Hall to put in their 2 cents even though they didn't know what they were commenting on. It's all about this thing called the “entertainment district” that doesn't exist yet — plans remain floating somewhere in the ether. Here's the deal, for this nebulous proposal the city would chip in about $1 billion and Jazz NBA owner Ryan Smith would put up $3 billion. The money would transform 100 acres around the Delta Center, Abravanel Hall and the Salt Lake Convention Center into something like the Eighth Wonder of the World. Call it Smithland. There would be basketball, NHL hockey, music, culture, art, taco stands and a bunch of cool stuff you can't even imagine. It's kinda like Christmas Come Early, or more accurately, the Second Coming Come Early. Imagine Salt Lake City transformed into the next Orlando, Fla. — sans Mickey, Goofy and the gang. City leaders are absolutely giddy — how often do you get to recreate the world in your own image.
SLURPING UP TRUTH, JUSTICE AND DEMOCRACY
We know you're not ready for this, Wilson — Rudy Giuliani now has his own brand of coffee. Yep, “Rudy Coffee” is here. “When I put my name on something you can trust it,” he says in a new TV commercial. The ad dropped right after Giuliani pleaded not guilty in Arizona to charges of conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential election. When you buy Rudy Coffee you're not just getting great coffee, he says, “You're supporting our cause: Truth, justice and American democracy.” Yes Wilson, he really did say that. Rudy was one of the so-called “architects” of the plan to keep Trump in power after he lost the election. Architecture, needless to say, is not what it used to be. In December the one-time New York City mayor was ordered by a jury to pay $148 million in damages to former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, whom he defamed by saying they fraudulently counted votes for Biden. The pair received numerous death threats, among other things. Looks like Rudy is gonna have to sell a lot of that coffee. Giuliani also faces a dozen charges in the racketeering case brought by the Fulton County district attorney in Atlanta, Ga. So get your Rudy Coffee today. Buy lots and lots of it to save our American democracy and Rudy Giuliani's ass.
FAILED PLAN TO ASSASSINATE TRUMP
If you think Donald Trump's “hush money” trial was nasty with cringeworthy sex scenes involving the former president and a porn star, listen to this: President Joe Biden planned to knock off the Donald at Mar-A-Lago in August 2022 when the FBI searched the Florida property for classified documents. How do we know this to be true — because the right-wing echo chamber says so: “This was an attempted assassination,” said former Trump advisor and pundit Steve Bannon. “The Biden DOJ and FBI were planning to assassinate President Trump and gave the green light.” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. “The Biden Administration authorized the use of deadly force at Mar-A-Lago,” said FOX talking head Sean Hannity. Well, not exactly. The FBI waited until Trump was in New York City before executing the search warrant. Beyond that the FBI's modus operandi forbids the use of force unless an agents life is in imminent danger. On the other hand, Trump's lawyers argued before the Supreme Court that he had complete immunity as president and should be allowed to assassinate his political rivals without repercussions. In Trump World up is down and down is up. Hey, did you hear the FBI tried to assassinate Trump. It's true, we heard it on FOX.
Post script — That'll do it for another gorgeous week here at Smart Bomb where we keep track of who's getting raises so you don't have to. Hey Wilson, did you hear that Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall is asking for a $44,000 annual raise. Whoa baby, that's raising some eyebrows around town. Forty four grand? Holy simoleons. Presently, Mayor Erin's salary is 168,000 a year or $14,000 a month. The raise would make it $212,000 a year or $17,666 per month. We know Wilson, that's more than the entire income of the Smart Bomb Band. But, you gotta admit she works a lot harder than you guys — plus, she has to dress up and sit through a lot of boring meetings. You guys could never do that. It's a special skill set. (Clever segue.) Recently the Presidential Greatness Project surveyed 154 historians and social science experts to rank all U.S. presidents. OK Wilson, guess who came in dead last. You got it, Donald Trump. Get this, he came in behind James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Franklin Pierce and Warren Harding. As you may recall, Trump rated himself the greatest president ever ahead of Abe Lincoln. Imagine that. Editor's note: Not included in the survey were Stormy Daniels, E. Jean Carrol or Karen McDougal — but they probably wouldn't have helped him much.
Poor old Rudy Giuliani, he was a brave crime fighter against the mob, became America's mayor after 9/11 and then buddied up with Donald Trump, lost his soul and turned into a creepy, old crazy guy. How far the mighty have fallen. So hey Wilson, do you and the guys in the band have anything in your repertoire for this once-great pathetic fool:
Shadows are fallin' and I've been here all day It's too hot to sleep and time is runnin' away Feel like my soul has turned into steel I've still got the scars that the sun didn't heal There's not even room enough to be anywhere It's not dark yet but it's gettin' there. Well, my sense of humanity has gone down the drain Behind every beautiful thing there's been some kind of pain She wrote me a letter and she wrote it so kind She put down in writin' what was in her mind I just don't see why I should even care It's not dark yet but it's gettin' there. Well, I've been to London and I been to gay Paris I've followed the river and I got to the sea I've been down on the bottom of the world full of lies I ain't lookin' for nothin' in anyone's eyes Sometimes my burden is more than I can bear It's not dark yet but it's gettin' there. I was born here and I'll die here against my will I know it looks like I'm movin' but I'm standin' still Every nerve in my body is so naked and numb I can't even remember what it was I came here to get away from Don't even hear the murmur of a prayer It's not dark yet but it's gettin' there.

Matt Gertz at MMFA:
On the right, the word of the week is “Rubicon.”  MAGA commentators from social media to Fox News are arguing that President Joe Biden and the Democrats passed a point of no return when a Manhattan jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with a scheme to conceal the hush-money payoff made to a porn star in the final weeks of the 2016 presidential campaign.  They claim Trump is the victim of a politicized prosecution that requires Republicans to respond in kind by trying to throw Democrats in jail.
But Trump’s supporters are just trying to concoct a righteous excuse for doing what they have already done. Trump and the right-wing press spent his presidency teaming up to demand federal criminal probes of his political foes, only for those investigations to collapse when Trump’s own law enforcement appointees assessed the purported Democratic crimes. Indeed, Republicans and Trump appointees have overseen nearly all of the high-profile investigations of political figures conducted over the last decade. When those Republicans and Trump appointees have investigated Republicans, the probes have regularly led to criminal charges and convictions, and when those Republicans and Trump appointees have investigated Democrats, they largely have not.  And for all the right’s claims of politicized prosecutions, the record shows Democratic presidents bending over backward to appear impartial, while Trump as president constantly and publicly accused his political opponents of crimes and demanded their prosecution.
Republicans keep finding Republican crimes
One of the huge holes in the right’s argument is their claim that Biden is connected to Trump’s myriad legal travails.  Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who successfully prosecuted Trump, is a Democrat — but he was elected by New York voters and charged Trump under state law, requiring the right to gin up a baroque conspiracy theory to explain how Biden supposedly masterminded the probe.  Fani Willis, the Fulton County district attorney who filed racketeering charges in Georgia over Trump’s election subversion plot, is likewise elected in her own right without a tie to Biden.
Meanwhile, Trump’s classified documents and January 6 federal prosecutions are led by Jack Smith, a political independent who prosecuted politicians of both parties as head of the Justice Department’s political corruption unit. Smith took over probes launched under FBI director Christopher Wray, a Trump-appointed Republican, and received special counsel status from Biden-appointed Attorney General Merrick Garland to keep him walled off from political pressure. Trump is now a convicted felon like many of his former associates, including his former legal fixer Michael Cohen, his former campaign chair Paul Manafort, and his longtime political consigliere Roger Stone. Robert Mueller, a Republican who was appointed as FBI director by President George W. Bush, led their successful prosecutions. Mueller in turn was hand-picked to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election by Rod Rosenstein, a Republican and a Trump appointee at the Justice Department.
Republicans keep not finding Democratic crimes
At the same time, the MAGA media spent years demanding the Trump Justice Department conduct criminal probes of high-profile Democrats and other public officials who had otherwise tangled with Trump. Fox hosts like Sean Hannity, a close adviser to the former president, would read long lists of purported crimes committed by Trump’s political opponents and demand they face justice.
But when Republicans and Trump appointees actually tried to turn frothy right-wing media reports into real cases, they failed. Trump led chants of “lock her up” during his campaign against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but FBI Director James Comey — a Republican who oversaw the probe of her use of a private server — recommended no charges against her, and Trump’s law enforcement appointees apparently found no cause to reverse that determination.  Nor did Trump-appointed Republicans bring charges following federal probes of the Clinton Foundation and the Hillary Clinton Uranium One pseudoscandal. And the much-touted probe into the origins of the Russia probe, overseen by a Trump appointee with the full backing of Trump Attorney General William Barr, ended with a whimper.
Ever since the 34-count felony verdict against Donald Trump was handed down last week, the MAGA cult and their mouthpieces have been screeching about a “Rubicon” by demanding frivolous investigations into from Democrats in retaliation.

Welcome to Literally Jesse. Thank you for taking the time to come and check out my site, but where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Jesse Rosenbaum. I grew up in Green Brook, NJ and as of 2017, I am living in Vero Beach, FL. I am an author of stories for both page and screen. Literally Jesse is a place where I can share what I have been up to both literally and literarily speaking.
I am an avid reader of fiction with a love for the horror, mystery, science fiction & thriller genres, but I don’t limit myself to those genres. I’m open to reading all genres as long as the subject matter peaks my interest.
I am a soon to be published author with my first novel, ‘The Condemned‘, which is to be published by Fulton Books. I am very excited to share what I have been up to and what I am working on.
What can you expect to see on this site?
Samples of the stories I am working on.
Stories that I have enjoyed reading and think you might too.
Writing from others that inspires me.
This might be the part where you think to yourself, “How do I know that I will even like what you, Jesse, have to share?” I’m so glad you asked. Here, in no particular order, are a number of authors that I enjoy and / or inspire me, which, perhaps, you enjoy also.
WARNING: This won’t be a short list.
Richard Matheson
Hands down my favorite author and biggest inspiration. For me, it all started with ‘I Am Legend’.
William Shakespeare
If I had to pick one play, it would be Hamlet. I love that play.
Christopher Marlowe
I took an 18th Century Literature course in colleague and fell in love with his works. Tamburlaine the Great was my favorite of his with Doctor Faustus being a close second.
Edgar Allen Poe
T.S. Eliot
W.H. Auden
H.P. Lovecraft
Johnathan L Howard
For me, it began with his writing in the Circle of Blood (Broken Sword game) and re-ignited years later with his Johannes Cabal novels.
Christopher Moore
It all began with ‘A Dirty Job’.
Steve Niles
Ben Templesmith
Hands down my favorite comic book artist.
Shirley Jackson
Mary Shelley
Anne Rice
David Wellington
Henry Rollins
This man inspires me and provides a kick-ass soundtrack.
Alan Cumming
His novel ‘Not My Father’s Son’ is so beautiful and strong.
Chuck Palahniuk
I know it may be cliché, but ‘Fight Club’ is where it all started for me.
Charlie Huston
So, how many of those have read or enjoyed? Perhaps we already have some things in common. There are others I could share, of course, but we would be here a while. I hope you come back soon to see what I am up to both literally and literarily.

Fulton Mercer House — Bowling Green, Ohio by Christopher Riley
Via Flickr:
Extant at 420 South Main Street. According to censuses, Fulton Mercer moved from rural Liberty Township to Bowling Green between 1900 and 1910. Text on the back of the photo reads "In Bowling Green / Fulton Mercer House / Wedding of Bert & Blanche Mercer." Bert and Blanche married in 1903, so the photo may date from that year. The house must have been brand-spanking new.

Christopher George Latore Wallace
Born on May 21st, 1972
Died on March 9th, 1997
Rooted in East Coast hip hop. Let's not forget the war between East Coast and West Coast.
West Coast king long live legend Tupac Amaru Shakur.
Born on June 16th, 1971
Died on September 13th, 1996. Less a year ago before Biggie's death.
Tupac's muder case ain't solved after 30 years which mean I'll have to do it after solving Biggie's. Good news Tupac's murder case has been opened just a few days ago. (I swear I didin't knew before "opening" Biggie's by myself yesterday)
Biggie was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Brooklyn streets (Saint James Place and Fulton Stree-Christopher Wallace Way), was killed in West Coast. His parents was from Jamaica. So I would put in the first place a killer to be from West Coast.
