my first language is spanish but I moved to the us!! my english has gotten better because of twitter and tiktok+ friends but I still get words confused sometimes.. Its not very noticable in typing because of autocorrect and since spanish is similar to English (in sentence structure) but I have a very obvious accent when I speak english.. (I dont pronounce the t in winter, so it sounds like winner, and I say pizza like pik-sa 😭.. if I speak spanish then switch to english, sometimes I'll translate things too directly.. like "went to the kine?" instead of "fuiste al cine?")

in-depth idea for cinematic

In the beginning of the cine it will present the two main leaders of the two sides. It will show how they are in an era of peace. after a moment of that it will then switch to a scene where the two sides get in a position to why they end up fighting against each other. In the next scene it will then show the two sides fighting, I want to try have two armies of people on two sides and have them charge at each other. at the front will be the two main leaders up against each other and then the camera will down down the middle whilst all the people will charge at each other. I was thinking of having it set in old times so maybe during the knight era or even before that.

This is what I plan on doing for the cinematic to begin with, whilst in development I may plan on doing more throughout it or even add more at the end.

¡Se ha acabado el quinto año de mandangas! ¿Quién iba a decir que esto duraría tanto? Esta vez sí que todo ha vuelto a la normalidad con respecto a la pandemia (aunque este año todo el mundo se ha puesto malo de otras cosas y al guao le tuvieron que poner una guía). Empecé el año comprándome un móvil nuevo (Realme GT 2 Pro) porque el anterior ya no daba para más, y me acabé comprando también unos auriculares inalámbricos (Seinnheiser Momentum True Wireless 3) que me daba miedo porque me parecían guays pero son muy caros, y la verdad es que me han ido muy bien.

Videojuegos

Hay que destacar la gran novedad de este año, que es que al final caí y me compré la PlayStation 5 para jugar al Final Fantasy XVI, lo que también me ha servido de excusa para jugar a otras cosas de PS4 que tenía pendientes. Aunque me jode que justo anunciaran hace poco un modelo slim, la verdad es que estoy muy contento con la compra y se ve todo de lujo en la LG OLED.

También he seguido jugando mucho a la Switch (sigo jugando a Splatoon todos los días y ya me pasé la historia). Terminé el último Pokémon y las cosas que tenían pendientes del Breath of the Wild, aunque de momento no tengo pensado empezar el Tears of the Kingdom, que salió este año, porque es muy largo y ya tengo otras cosas pendientes, como Octopath Traveller 2, que lo retomé hace poco y ya estoy terminando las historias de los personajes. Fire Emblem Engage y su DLC molaron y mecánicamente son muy buenos, pero para mí no llegan al nivel de Three Houses. En cambio, el DLC de Xenoblade 3 me dejó con muchas ganas de ver qué seguirán haciendo en esta saga.

A ver si en 2024 termino cosillas que tengo a medias, como la secuela del Mario + Rabbids y el Advance Wars. También tengo mucha cosa comprada sin empezar y me apetece jugar a muchas cosas, pero no hay prisa.

Series

Este año he visto menos series porque he estado leyendo mucho (tanto libros como cómics) y en general he dejado de ver la mayoría de las series semanales que veía (algunas por cancelaciones y otras por pereza). Terminaré seguro cosas como Doom Patrol, pero otras como Flash no lo tengo tan claro. Otra cosa que terminó fue la noche de anime, pero me gustaría retomarla pronto y poder ver más cositas

Me puse a ver todo 7 vidas desde el principio, y los Hams veíamos Un paso adelante mientras comíamos, pero ambas cosas están paradas de momento y ya veremos qué pasa con ellas. ¡No me da la vida para tantas aficiones!

De las novedades del año destaco el live action de One Piece, que pensaba que sería cutre pero mola, The Fall of the House of Usher, una miniserie de Mike Flanagan que me gustó mucho y La Mesías, que deja claro que los Javis saben hacer buenas historias. Además, hace poco sacaron especiales guays de Doctor Who y esté año habrá temporada nueva con el nuevo Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa, así que pinta bien la cosa (incluso me puse a volver a ver las temporadas anteriores y ya voy por la quinta).

Películas

He visto 20 pelis, que no es mucho pero tampoco está mal. La mayoría las vi en plataformas de streaming porque es lo más cómodo, pero también vimos alguna en el cine. Ahora las noches en las que no está el guao aprovecho más para jugar a la play y no tanto para ver cosas, y en fines de semana, que es cuando podemos ver pelis juntos sin que se duerma nadie, hemos estado viendo cosas como El conquistador, así que ya veremos qué pasa en 2024. De todas formas, he visto pelis que me han gustado mucho, como Glass Onion, The Menu o la última de Miles Morales.

Realities

Aparte de ver varias versiones y sucedáneos de Survivor, este año ha salido un formato nuevo de reality que puede molar mucho: Traitors. La versión de España fue un poco mierda, pero la de UK moló mucho y tengo ganas de ver otros. Creo que es un formato que puede dar mucho juego y ojalá funcione muy bien y nos dé buenos ratos. Para el año nuevo me gustaría ponerme al día con Australian Survivor, aunque ya hay muchas temporadas y se tarda mucho en verlas, por lo que intentaré ir haciéndolo sin prisa (ahora mismo estoy viendo la que han sacado de UK, aunque está siendo un poco floja).

Cómics

He seguido leyendo un montón. Están sacando muchas series interesantes y ya hay cosas anunciadas que me interesan, aunque para 2024 quiero intentar no pasarme demasiado con eso. También quiero ponerme al día con JoJo (solo tengo que terminar de comprar Steel Ball Run) y Jujutsu Kaisen, que ya la llevo casi al día. Luego igual me compro Vagabond porque aparte de Slam Dunk empecé a comprarme Real y me gusta mucho. También estoy intentando comprar y leer más demografía femenina, aunque me cuesta más porque no siempre tengo claro si algo me va a gustar o no. En cualquier caso, estoy muy contento con todo lo que se edita ahora mismo y ojalá no haya cancelaciones ni pete el mercado.

En cuanto a libros, ha sido una de esas veces que le he dado caña y de golpe he leído un montón. Terminé la trilogía de la Fundación y retomé The Expanse. Ahora mismo voy por el séptimo libro (Persepolis Rising) de nueve y también he ido leyendo las historias cortas. Para 2024 quiero terminar la saga y luego me gustaría leer cosillas de Brandon Sanderson, que me pica la curiosidad. También me gustaría leer más libros de Stephen King, pero son muchos y no tengo tanto tiempo, así que no me hago ilusiones de nada.
