Momo and Jiro xbutch!fem!reader
Little head headcanons
@lady-silkwing
Enjoy
Momo
While momo is elegant, you are her guard dog privileges
Need to go get some tea? It’s too late? Oh no worries I got my girl with me
She wants to call you handsome sometimes but doesn’t know if you would like it
Would literally buy you the top brands for your more masculine style
Doesn’t work out as much as you but likes to work on her quirk by you while you lift or workout
(She’s got to admire those muscles)
If you have short hair she would buy you styling products for your hair (the best)
If you have longer hair she gets you whatever you need
You go to shower and it’s just there
Actually kinda really likes your dorm, and always politely asks to wear your hoodies
Jiro
Simp
Sorry anyways,
Absolutely is so attracted to you and your style, wants to wear your clothes and jewelry
Loves your dorm too, probably snuggles in your bed with you
If you have muscles with her, she high key digs it and will discreetly touch them
Plays it off
Let’s you strum her guitar
If you can play an instrument, let alone a string one-shes proposing
If you have short hair she would style it for you in the mornings (she might even let you style her’s)
If you dye your hair she also loves that and always loves to give feedback
Whenever someone makes a comment on your masculinity she’s ready to throw down but you beat her to it lol (she takes you out to ice cream after)

Hey hey! A few ideas for a oneshot with some of our mha boys with fem reader ♡
Todoroki's first crush. He's such an adorable dense sweetie I can't even 😚 while he's never been in a situation like this, I still feel like he'd be upfront with her about him feeling 'weird inside' and she'd basically have to tell him what love is
The manliest man, Kiri! Maybe helping him dye his hair with confessions?
Bakugo realizing he's in love with reader and not knowing how to deal with it. Kiri being best wingman ♡
THIS IS CUTE OK LET ME COOK‼️‼️ Kirishima does not get enough appreciation, so writing this made me really happy :). THANK YOU FIR REQUESTING, AND FEEL FREE TO ASK AGAIN, I LOVE YOU ANON!!
Tumblr media
The room looked like a murder scene. Red dye was everywhere, splattered on the sink and bathroom tiles. Kirishima sat in between your legs on the bathroom floor, with you sitting on the tub putting the dye in his hair. You both forgot to use a dye brush, which resulted in you having to use your fingers. Massaging his scalp, you made sure the dye was applied evenly (maybe you just wanted to play with his hair 🤭). Kirishima sighed at the feeling of your hands running through his hair, leaning back into you and letting you take control.
"This is nice," He comments, reveling in your warm touch and soft humming. "I'm so glad I asked you for help, I could've never done this by myself," Kirishima chuckled.
"It's no problem, I enjoy moments like this, it relaxes me," You replied, making his heart skip a beat. You've always had a crush on Kirishima, so you jumped at the chance for alone time with him when he needed help with his hair.
Once you finished putting in the dye, you waited for a while, chatting on the bathroom floor and enjoying each others company. Once the dye was ready to wash, you put his head over the tub and helped him get it out. Drying his hair off with a towel, you realized how attractive he looked. Damp hair framing his face, a cute smile forming, staring at you with adoration. He loved that you were so focused on helping him out, his eyes moving to your lips.
"Can I kiss you?"
You paused. What did he just say? He wants to kiss you??
"W- wait, what!? You want to kiss me?" you exclaimed in suprise.
"Yeah, you look so pretty focused on me. I just can't help but to want to kiss your pretty lips." He murmured, "I've liked you for a long time, but I haven't been manly enough to tell you, so I assumed was my best chance," Laughing nervously, Kirishima averts his eyes from you.
You grabbed his chin, forcing him to look back at you, and pressed your lips against his. Widening his eyes in shock, Kirishima lets out a little squeak in suprise. He eventually melts into you, bringing you closer to him and cupping your cheek.
"I really like you," He whispered, foreheads touching eachother, "and I want to be your boyfriend, if that's alright with you,"
"Of course it is," You replied, "I wouldn't be sitting here at 3 in the morning dying your hair if I didn't like you back, you moron," You joked, flicking his forehead.
Kirishima smiled, bringing you in for another kiss. He was positive that he was the luckiest man alive.

His bone crunched beneath your fist, a sickening blow to the center of his nose. You weren't to blame for the fight, it was fully the boy you were beating up who was at fault.
"Ugh, you...bitch!" He growled, wiping blood that was leaking from his nose. You narrowed your eyes dangerously, powers flickering to life. You shouldn't have let his stupid comments get to you, it doesn't matter that Bakugo hasn't noticed you. But the way he acted like he was somehow superior to you just because he was in 2a made you feel infuriated.
You were honestly very fired up at this point, you wanted to smash this dude's face into the ground. For now, you grabbed his collar and gave him a right hook. He was honestly pretty lame, he didn't even block the punch.
"What is going on in here?" A voice boomed, making your back straighten and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. The boy had a similar reaction, while also taking this chance to worm his way out of your iron grip.
Rigidly you turned around, plastering a big smile on as you looked at All Might. He was frowning at you, eyebrows furrowed with frustration.
"Fighting other future heroes is not good behavior." He scolded, voice echoing throughout the courtyard. You felt all stares on you, prickling your skin like they were actually touching you. "You two are going to Nezu's office."
Sighing, you followed All Might while sparing a glance to the student who has formed a crowd around you. Your eyes met red, a scowl on the blond boy's face as he stared directly at you.
Bakugo noticed you. Bakugo noticed you.
•───────────•°•❀•°•──────────•
"Oi! You, what's your name?" Bakugo called, walking rapidly towards you. (In all honestly you couldn't help but feel your heart rush with excitement.)
"I'm [Last Name] why're you asking?" You replied, trying to keep your cool. Emphasis on the trying, after all it isn't everyday your UA role model notices you. He was hovering by you, arms crossed over his chest and his constant constipated expression on his face.
"I saw your fight and I'm glad that dickhead finally got what's been coming his way." Bakugo said with a shrug, "I wanted to know who actually deserves a place in this school."
"So, I'm...not an extra to you? Even though I'm in 1b?" You asked, eyebrow raised slightly. It was strange, bantering with someone you have imagined as a role model. This felt like a fever dream.
"Eh, you're less of an extra. I'll keep an eye on you, [Last Name.] I hope you meet my expectations." Bakugo said, before marching away once again. Holy...fucking..shit.
You watched him walk away, eyes wide and jaw slightly dropped. Surely this was fiction, surely a hallucination caused by head trauma. You pinched your arm to check, and sure enough this was real.
You hoped to meet his expectations too.

Aizawa was starting to become a little worried about you. He had been so busy with Shinsou and his problem children to focus much attention and direction to the rest of the class. Every time he would try to work on it, yet another calamity would occur and force his attention back on the main parties.
He was working on this little flaw of his, continuously checking in with and directing the others during training period. He never got to help you, though. It seemed that whenever he would look for you, you would drop from the face of the earth.
You were avoiding him.
You would sit on your lonesome in class and at lunch, with your head kept down. He's never once seen you exchange small talk. In all honesty, he's less worried about your physical capabilities, and more worried about your mental state. He has a bad feeling.
In reality, you just hated this class. Every day, someone would open their big, ugly mouth and out came nonsense that further convinced you of how undeserving they were of being at the top. You were only here because you were recommended. Your quirk isn't nearly as powerful or flashy, either. Why does everyone else get all the attention when all they do is fuck up and ruin everything?!
All of this comes to light during the next sparring period. You were towing on the edge of keeping up with one of the class' best, until you were unexpectedly knocked down. That was your last straw. How fucking dare he?
You were suffering a humiliating defeat as you sit on your knees on the floor, staring into the distance without focus, until your sight was infiltrated by the image of Midoriya. You hate that stupid brat. The hatred in your veins is only fuelled when he offers a hand to you and a pathetic smile.
Within a second, his hand is slapped away and the room goes silent.
"Get the fuck away from me. Fuck you."
The bite of your words is only dulled by the waver of your voice, and the tears in your eyes. Izuku is stunned, as is the rest of the class. Even Katsuki thinks you're overreacting. Kirishima steps in with a frown. "Hey, man... That wasn't cool-"
He's interrupted when you turn around and walk away, brimming with anger and frustration. How is he so much better than you?! You train every day and constantly home your skills, so how did he beat you faster than you could blink?
Maybe you were being a little horrible, but you've never learned how to offset your anger in healthier ways, so for now, you're happy taking it out on others.
Are you really that weak? Maybe, after everything, you're the one who doesn't deserve to be here...
How come they could always be nice to eachother, but they could never talk to you? Why were you ignored or given strange looks when you tried to open up? How come noone wanted to be your friend?
Aizawa, of course, figured you might react in such a way. Loneliness can easily turn into bitterness if you take your eye off it for too long. He needs to help you fix this.
He wants to keep everyone in this class for as long as he possibly can, and allowing you to exclude yourself any more than you have would be dangerous for everyone, including you.
It's with that, that he starts putting people in pairs for everything. He would force you to socialise if it was the last thing he did.
Every day you would argue with your pair, but it was worth it, because when you were offered kindness or compassion, no matter how reluctant you were to accept it, he could see that little spark in your eye. It was the kind of spark that made him aware of your guard dropping. You were actually starting to care about your classmates.
Obviously Toshinori immediately knew what he was doing when he saw Aizawa put you in a group of three since the class was uneven on a specific day, and he would offer up a smirk and subtle glance as if to say "wow, you finally got through to them".
He supposed that it's not your fault you don't know how to cope with your... Emotional baggage, much like Shouto or Katsuki, but he likes to make you very much aware that it's your responsibility to learn how.
When the day comes that you finally think to apologise to Izuku, the boy you've grown an annoying fondness for, he actually starts to cry. He's so proud of you for not staying emotionally constipated like Katsuki, that he actually floods the room and Aizawa has to open the window for him to violently sob out of so that the entire class doesn't drown.
Slowly, you start to grow a kinship with a few people in your class, and you grow especially close with your bubblegum haired friend Mina, and Jirou, who liked to do her part by teasing you out of your shell. Maybe, you could even learn what it's like to love and be loved back.

Todoroki’s fairytale <3 (1st August 2024)
Shoto Todoroki x Reader
Prompt! Shoto realises that to fight what you want is worth it, no matter the obstacle
Todoroki Shoto sat in the corner of the classroom, his gaze drifting towards Y/N, his classmate who had the enchanting fairy quirk. Y/N’s presence was ethereal, with delicate fairy wings that shimmered in the light. To everyone, it was apparent that Todoroki’s attention was focused on Momo Yaoyorozu. Momo had openly admired Todoroki for a while, and the assumption that Todoroki might reciprocate her feelings was widespread. But the truth was far different—Todoroki’s heart was captivated by Y/N, whose quiet beauty and gentle demeanor had him spellbound.
Rumors about Todoroki’s supposed crush on Momo were a constant source of frustration for him. The reality was that he was utterly captivated by Y/N, and his feelings remained a closely guarded secret. The pretense of his interest in Momo was a necessary facade to protect his true emotions.
Every day, Todoroki watched as Y/N fluttered around with her fairy wings—a sight that was both enchanting and heartbreaking. Her gentle demeanor and the way she interacted with her quirk seemed to draw him in, creating a longing that he could not easily suppress. The rumors about his supposed crush on Momo were both a blessing and a curse, providing a convenient cover for the true nature of his feelings.
One afternoon, during a class break, Todoroki found himself alone with Y/N and Uraraka in the common room. Y/N was sitting by a window, her wings shimmering softly as she read a book. Uraraka, ever the social butterfly, was chatting animatedly with her, and Todoroki found himself captivated by their conversation.
“You know,” Uraraka said, glancing over at Todoroki with a smile, “Y/N and I were just talking about the upcoming training exercises. She’s been really excited about them.”
Y/N looked up, her eyes meeting Todoroki’s for a brief moment. He quickly looked away, his heart racing as he tried to maintain his composure.
“I’m looking forward to it,” Y/N said softly. “It’s always interesting to see what challenges we’ll face.”
Todoroki forced a smile, trying to mask the turmoil inside him. “It should be a good experience. I’m sure you’ll do well.”
As Uraraka continued to talk, Todoroki’s attention was fully on Y/N.
He observed the way her wings fluttered with subtle grace, casting a faint glow as they caught the light. The sight was mesmerizing, and Todoroki felt a pang of jealousy and longing as he watched her interact with Uraraka. He wished he could be the one to share those moments with her, but his feelings remained concealed.
The next morning, Todoroki was walking through the campus when he spotted Y/N and Izuku Midoriya standing by a bench. They were laughing together, a genuine connection evident in their interaction. Y/N’s laughter was light and melodic, and Todoroki felt a pang of jealousy and confusion. He had never seen her so animated with anyone else, and the sight of her giggling with Izuku stirred something deep within him.
Todoroki’s heart sank as he watched Izuku and Y/N share a moment of camaraderie. He felt a familiar sting of envy and frustration. The way Y/N’s eyes sparkled as she laughed at something Izuku had said made Todoroki’s chest tighten. The assumption that Todoroki had feelings for Momo seemed to amplify his discomfort, especially since he was witnessing Y/N’s obvious enjoyment with another person.
As Todoroki walked away from the scene, his mind was racing. The thought that Y/N might have feelings for Izuku, coupled with the ongoing rumors about his own supposed crush on Momo, created a storm of emotions inside him. He felt trapped between his secret and the facade he maintained for everyone else.
In the dorms that evening, Todoroki’s frustration was palpable. He sat alone in his room, his thoughts consumed by the day’s events. The image of Y/N laughing with Izuku replayed in his mind, a painful reminder of the reality he couldn’t change.
He knew he couldn’t express his true feelings or act on them. The secrecy surrounding his emotions was a burden he carried alone. He felt a deep sense of longing, wishing he could be in Izuku’s place—someone who seemed to effortlessly connect with Y/N.
Todoroki lay back on his bed, staring at the ceiling. The quiet of his room was a stark contrast to the turmoil within him. He thought about the disparity between his internal struggle and the public’s perception of his feelings. The longing he felt for Y/N, combined with the weight of pretending to be interested in Momo, was almost too much to bear.
In the stillness of the night, Todoroki’s thoughts drifted to Izuku once more. He envied the ease with which Izuku seemed to connect with Y/N, and the thought made him wish he could be in Izuku’s position. If only he could trade places, if only he could be the one who made Y/N laugh and share moments with her without the burden of secrecy.
As he closed his eyes, Todoroki’s thoughts were consumed by the reality of his situation. The love he harbored for Y/N remained a secret, hidden behind the façade of a crush on Momo. And in the quiet of the night, he wished more than anything that he could be someone else—someone who could openly share the affection he felt for the girl who had captured his heart.
Just a month later, came an end to his first obstacle.
Todoroki and Momo found themselves alone in a secluded corner of the school’s garden. The afternoon sun filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on the ground. It was a serene setting, but Todoroki’s heart was pounding in his chest.
Momo, her eyes slightly downcast, took a deep breath before speaking. “Todoroki, I’ve been meaning to tell you something,” she began, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of nervousness. “I’ve had feelings for you for a while now. I... I really like you, and I was hoping you might feel the same way.”
Todoroki’s eyes widened, a mix of surprise and discomfort crossing his features. He had suspected that Momo might have feelings for him, but hearing her confess them directly was another matter entirely. He struggled to find the right words, knowing he had to be honest, yet not wanting to hurt her.
“Yaoyorozu,” Todoroki started, his voice carefully measured, “I appreciate your feelings. I really do. But I need to be honest with you. I don’t share those feelings. There’s someone else I... I’m interested in. I don’t want to lead you on or give you false hope.”
Momo’s eyes dropped to the ground, her face flushing with a mixture of embarrassment and disappointment. She nodded slowly, trying to compose herself. “I see. I’m sorry for making things awkward,” she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
Todoroki reached out, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “It’s not awkward. I just wanted to be honest with you. I respect you too much to not be clear.”
Momo offered a faint smile, her composure returning as she looked up at him. “Thank you for being honest, Todoroki. I appreciate it.”
As Momo turned to leave, Todoroki watched her go, his heart heavy with the weight of the conversation. The words he had spoken to her echoed in his mind, a reminder of the delicate balance he had to maintain between his own secret feelings and the truth he had just shared. The quiet of the garden seemed to close in around him, and he was left alone with his thoughts, the reality of his situation sinking in deeply.
The following evening came with the second obstacle.
Spotting Midoriya sitting alone in the common room, engrossed in a notebook, Todoroki approached with a mix of determination and nervousness. “Midoriya,” Todoroki began, trying to sound casual as he took a seat beside him, “I need to ask you something.”
Midoriya looked up, his eyes widening with curiosity. “Sure, Todoroki. What’s up?”
Todoroki hesitated for a moment before diving in. “I’ve been meaning to ask... Do you have any feelings for Y/N?”
Midoriya blinked in surprise, his face turning slightly red. “Y/N? Oh, no, not at all,” he said quickly, shaking his head. “I mean, she’s a great person, but I don’t have any romantic feelings for her.”
A wave of relief washed over Todoroki, a smile tugging at his lips. “Really? That’s good to know.”
Midoriya’s expression shifted to one of earnestness. “Actually, I’ve been trying to get advice from Y/N about something else. I’m trying to figure out how to approach Uraraka and let her know how I feel. Y/N’s been really helpful with giving me tips.”
Todoroki’s smile grew slightly wider. “You’re asking Y/N for advice on how to win Uraraka’s heart?”
Midoriya nodded eagerly. “Yeah! I figured she’d have some good insights, you know? She’s always so positive and helpful. I just didn’t want to mess things up.”
Todoroki’s heart lightened further. “That’s great. It’s good to have someone like Y/N helping you out.”
As Midoriya continued to talk about his plans and how Y/N had been assisting him, Todoroki felt a surge of happiness. The fact that Midoriya had no romantic interest in Y/N meant that he had a clearer path to pursue his own feelings without the added pressure of competition.
As Todoroki stood up to leave, he gave Midoriya a reassuring smile. “Good luck with Uraraka. I’m sure Y/N will give you great advice.”
Midoriya beamed with gratitude. “Thanks, Todoroki. I really appreciate it.”
Walking away, Todoroki felt a sense of relief and a newfound optimism. The idea that his secret feelings for Y/N might not be overshadowed by another’s interest was a small but significant victory. With a lighter step, Todoroki headed back to his own thoughts, his hope renewed and his heart feeling just a bit more at ease.
Todoroki Shoto sat at his desk in Class 1-A, the lesson proceeding in the background, but his attention was fixed elsewhere. His gaze was subtly directed towards Y/N, who was seated across the room, her delicate fairy wings folded neatly behind her as she listened attentively to the teacher.
Y/N was focused on her notebook, her gentle smile occasionally lighting up her face as she exchanged soft whispers with Uraraka. The way her wings shimmered in the classroom’s fluorescent light, even when still, had an almost magical quality to it. Todoroki’s heart ached with a mix of admiration and longing.
As he watched her, Todoroki found himself marveling at her quiet grace. Her interactions with her friends were warm and genuine, and the way she seemed to radiate calm and kindness was mesmerizing. Todoroki admired the way she carried herself with such poise, her demeanor reflecting her inner beauty.
Every now and then, Y/N would glance up, her eyes meeting Todoroki’s briefly before returning to her notes. Each glance was enough to send a flutter through Todoroki’s chest. It was a small moment, but it felt significant to him. He often wondered if she noticed his lingering gaze or if it was simply his own perception that made these moments feel so profound.
Todoroki shifted slightly in his seat, trying to appear absorbed in his own work, though his mind was far from focused on the lesson. The truth was, he found it almost impossible to concentrate when Y/N was in the room. His secret admiration for her was a delicate balance of joy and frustration—joy for the moments he could witness her from afar, and frustration because he could not express his true feelings.
As the class continued, Todoroki's eyes would occasionally drift back to Y/N. The thought of her innocent laughter, her kind gestures, and the way her presence seemed to fill the room with a soft light kept his heart tethered to her. Despite the distractions of everyday school life, his feelings remained constant, a quiet undercurrent that he cherished in silence.
As the bell rang and the class began to disperse, Todoroki lingered for a moment, watching Y/N gather her things with a graceful efficiency. He sighed softly, the familiar ache of unspoken affection tugging at his heart. With a final glance, he stood up and prepared to leave, his thoughts lingering on the girl who had captured his heart so effortlessly.
Todoroki Shoto was making his way to his locker after class when Bakugou Katsuki suddenly appeared in his path, a rare look of seriousness on his face. Bakugou, who typically seemed to be on a mission to start an argument, was unusually subdued.
Todoroki raised an eyebrow, taken aback by the unexpected confrontation. “Bakugou, what’s—”
“Cut the crap,” Bakugou interrupted, his tone gruff but lacking its usual edge. “I’ve been watching you. It’s pretty obvious you’ve got a thing for fairy face.”
Todoroki froze, his heart skipping a beat at the directness of Bakugou’s observation. “I—I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Bakugou scoffed, crossing his arms. “Don’t play dumb. It’s obvious as hell. You’re always staring at her like a lost puppy. If you like her, then do something about it.”
Todoroki shifted uncomfortably, feeling the weight of Bakugou’s words. “It’s not that simple. People think I’m interested in someone else...”
Bakugou’s eyes narrowed, though his voice softened slightly. “So what? If you like Y/N, then screw what anyone else thinks. You’re just gonna sit around and watch her be with someone else while you do nothing?”
Todoroki felt a mix of surprise and gratitude at Bakugou’s unexpected advice. “I... I don’t know if I can just—”
Bakugou cut him off with a dismissive wave. “Man up, Icyhot. If you care about her, go for it. You’re not gonna get anywhere by being all quiet and waiting for the perfect moment. If you want something, you gotta fucking fight for it. Don’t let anyone else’s opinions stop you.”
Todoroki’s eyes widened slightly, taken aback by Bakugou’s words. He had always seen Bakugou as someone who thrived on confrontation, not on giving advice. “Thanks, Bakugou,” Todoroki said, his voice sincere. “I’ll think about what you said.”
Bakugou gave a curt nod and turned to leave, but not before adding, “Just don’t screw it up. I don’t want to see you moping around because you missed your chance.”
As Todoroki watched Bakugou walk away, he felt a surge of determination. Bakugou’s unexpected support and blunt advice had given him a new perspective. Maybe it was time to take a chance and face his feelings head-on, no matter the obstacles. With a renewed sense of resolve, Todoroki prepared to make a move, knowing that he had to take action if he wanted to change the outcome.
The next day, Class 1-A was gathered in the courtyard for a brief break between classes. The sun was shining, and the students were enjoying the pleasant weather when Todoroki Shoto approached Y/N, who was chatting with Uraraka and occasionally fluttering her delicate fairy wings.
As Todoroki drew closer, he felt his heart race. He had finally decided to take Bakugou’s advice to heart. Clutching a bouquet of flowers—a mix of soft pastels and vibrant blooms—he took a deep breath.
“Y/N,” Todoroki said, his voice steady but carrying a hint of nervousness.
Y/N looked up, her eyes widening in surprise. “Todoroki? What’s this?”
Todoroki extended the bouquet towards her, a small but genuine smile on his face. “I, uh... I wanted to give these to you. I’ve noticed how you always brighten up the room, and I thought you might like them.”
The courtyard fell into a hush as the rest of Class 1-A turned to watch the unexpected interaction. Y/N’s cheeks flushed pink as she accepted the flowers, her eyes sparkling with a mix of surprise and delight.
“They’re beautiful,” Y/N said softly, her voice filled with warmth. “Thank you, Todoroki.”
Uraraka, standing beside Y/N, gave Todoroki an encouraging smile. “That’s so sweet of you, Todoroki.”
Todoroki nodded, feeling a wave of relief as he saw Y/N’s genuine happiness. “I’m glad you like them.”
As Todoroki turned to head back to Iida and Midoriya, he caught a glimpse of Bakugou watching from a distance, a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. Beside him was Momo, who gave Todoroki an encouraging smile. Todoroki’s heart swelled with a mix of pride and nervous anticipation. The public gesture was a bold step, but it was worth it to see Y/N’s radiant smile.
As the class resumed their conversations, Y/N gently held the bouquet close, her gaze lingering on Todoroki with a newfound sense of warmth. The moment had not gone unnoticed by their classmates, and murmurs of surprise and curiosity began to ripple through the group.
Todoroki, feeling a mix of vulnerability and satisfaction, walked back to his usual spot, his heart lighter than it had been in a long time.
As for Y/n’s side.
Night had came. The moonlight softly illuminated the dorm’s common room, where Momo Yaoyorozu and Y/N were seated on the plush sofa, their conversation having drifted into a more personal territory. The rest of the dorm was quiet, and the night felt like a cocoon of peace around them.
Momo took a deep breath, glancing over at Y/N who was quietly sipping her tea. “Y/N,” she began, her voice gentle but resolute, “there’s something I want to talk to you about.”
Y/N looked up, curious. “Sure, Momo. What’s on your mind?”
Momo’s gaze was soft, her eyes reflecting a hint of sadness but also clarity. “I know that you’ve caught the attention of Todoroki lately, and I’ve noticed how... close you’ve become. I wanted to tell you that I don’t mind if you end up with him.” She said, careful to not add the fact that she knows his feelings are in-fact romantic attraction towards the fairy girl. If anything, Todoroki should have the right to say it on his own and not someone else.
Y/N blinked in surprise. “Oh, Momo... I didn’t know you felt that way.”
Momo offered a small, understanding smile. “Todoroki and I had our own thing for a while, but he... he rejected me. It was painful, but I’ve come to terms with it. I think he might be happier with someone like you.”
Y/N’s expression softened with empathy. “Momo, I—”
Momo raised a hand gently. “No, let me finish. I want you to know that even though it’s not easy for me, I won’t stop you from pursuing him. If you’re interested in Todoroki and he’s interested in you, then I want you to go for it.”
Y/N’s eyes filled with gratitude. “Thank you, Momo. I really appreciate your understanding.”
Momo nodded, her smile unwavering. “I just want what’s best for both of you. And if that means you’re together, then so be it. I hope you two find happiness.”
Y/N reached out, placing a hand over Momo’s in a gesture of solidarity. “I’m lucky to have a friend like you. I promise I’ll be honest with you about everything.”
Momo’s smile widened. “That’s all I ask.”
As they sat together in the quiet of the night, the bond between them felt even stronger. Momo’s words had lifted a weight from Y/N’s shoulders, and she felt a newfound sense of hope for the future, no matter what it held.
As for the rest of the night, the two girls were chattering and giggling here and there. There was nothing to hide and nothing to be afraid of.
When Momo walked back to her room, Todoroki had coincidentally crossed paths with her. She smiled and gave him a nod to which he smiled back in respect.
Then came the day.
The setting sun cast a warm golden glow across the school grounds as Todoroki Shoto approached Y/N, who was seated on a bench near the garden. Her fairy wings, delicate and shimmering with hues of iridescent blue and pink, fluttered gently with the breeze. The soft light made her look almost ethereal, as if she were a part of the twilight itself.
Todoroki’s heart pounded as he approached, the sight of her wings making his breath catch. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. Y/N looked up, her eyes catching the light in a way that made them sparkle, and gave him a gentle smile that seemed to light up the entire garden.
“Y/N,” Todoroki began, his voice a mix of nerves and determination, “I was wondering if you’d like to go out with me sometime. For a date, I mean.”
Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise, and a soft blush spread across her cheeks, making her look even more enchanting. Her wings fluttered excitedly, sending a cascade of shimmering light through the garden. “Oh, Todoroki... I’d love to.”
Todoroki’s heart skipped a beat, and a relieved smile spread across his face. “Really? I wasn’t sure if you’d be interested.”
Y/N’s smile grew warmer, her wings casting gentle glimmers of light around them. “I’ve actually been hoping you’d ask.”
Todoroki felt a wave of joy and accomplishment wash over him. All the doubts, the fears of not being good enough, and the awkward moments—it had all been worth it. He had finally gathered the courage to ask her out, and it was turning out better than he had dared to hope.
As Y/N’s wings fluttered more intensely with her happiness, the sight was almost mesmerizing. Todoroki took in the way her fairy-like presence seemed to make the world around her a bit brighter. “I’m really glad,” Todoroki said, his voice sincere. “I’ve had to overcome a lot of obstacles to get to this point, and knowing that it’s led to this... it feels like it was all worth it.”
Y/N’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and her wings shimmered like a constellation of tiny stars. “I’m looking forward to it.”
Todoroki felt a profound sense of relief and happiness. The path ahead was still uncertain, but with Y/N by his side, her fairy-like grace adding a touch of magic to everything, he felt ready to face whatever came next. As they walked together, side by side, the garden seemed to glow a little brighter, and Todoroki knew that this was the beginning of something truly special.
In the common room of Class 1-A, the students were gathered for a casual chat after dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the conversation drifted from one topic to another until someone brought up Todoroki and Y/N.
“Did you guys hear?” Kirishima started, leaning back in his chair with a grin. “Todoroki and Y/N are officially a thing now!”
The room buzzed with surprised murmurs. “Wait, seriously?” Mina asked, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“Yeah,” Kirishima confirmed. “I saw them together in the garden earlier, and Todoroki was holding flowers. They looked pretty cozy.”
Jirou, who had been quietly listening, added, “I didn’t see that coming. I always thought Todoroki had his eyes on Momo.”
Momo’s cheeks flushed slightly, but she nodded. “I suppose people thought that because of some of our interactions, but I’m happy for them.”
Bakugou, who had been quietly observing from his usual spot, snorted. “Seriously? I thought everyone fucking knew Todoroki was into Y/N. He’s been acting weird for ages.”
“Really?” asked Sero, raising an eyebrow. “I always thought he was just being all cool and distant.”
“Yeah,” added Kaminari. “Y/N’s so... fairy-like and gentle. I wouldn’t have guessed she’d end up with someone as intense as Todoroki.”
“Honestly, I didn’t expect it either,” Uraraka admitted. “But now that I think about it, they do seem to have a certain chemistry. I’m just glad they found each other.”
Kirishima chuckled, “It’s like a fairy tale. Todoroki and his fairy princess.”
As the conversation continued, the surprise and curiosity in the room were palpable. Everyone was reflecting on how unexpected the pairing seemed, but also how right it felt in hindsight. The notion of Todoroki and Y/N together had surprised everyone, but their genuine connection and mutual happiness were undeniable.
The room was filled with a sense of excitement and anticipation, as the class eagerly discussed the new couple and wondered what the future held for them.

Imagine y2k earthy black reader just walking into class late. Their uniform altered and their tatties + piercings out on full display.
Imagine y2k earthy black reader getting scolded by all their teachers except Midnight, who applauds their style and sense of creativity.
Imagine y2k earthy black reader sitting down at the lunch table with the Baku-squad casually, as if they were oblivious to all the awestruck stares the students around were giving them. Whether they wore pants or a skirt, they looked incredibly sexy.
Imagine y2k earthy black reader during physical training, their sexy self wiping the floor with their classmates, barely breaking a sweat because "Sweating is for the weak". Don't you know how long it took to look and smell that good?
Imagine y2k earthy black reader getting a particularly high grade for a test they claimed to not have study for. "It's not my fault I'm this smart," they'd smirk confidently as Kaminari leans his head on their shoulder, sulking silently at his own results.
Imagine y2k earthy black reader inviting the class to their crib. Their home was absolutely stunning, like a place you'd find in a Pintrest post. Their room was just the embodiment of their personality perfectly. Posters, figurines, framed photos, other cool shit proud on display and don't get me started on that gamer station...

Do u know the ”i chose my path you chose the way of a hero. And they found you amusing for a while…” etc tiktok sound. Or it’s from spiderman originally.
So. What if someone has a quirk that they can show the futute to class 1a and maybe all might. And they see y/n actually saying it to someone. Maybe deku?So he has turned to villain. What would class 1a/teachers think? And what would be the reason y/n did it?🫣
If you want to do character x reader you can choose who.
Interesting prompt! Hope this suits your needs:

[Class 1-A x reader (no romance)]
Warning: mentions of blood and injury.

Enigma.
He was a mysterious villain that showed up out of no where years ago.
Many theorized that he was the man behind strange and sudden disappearances of random civilians. None of them had anything in common, but they were all killed in a similar fashion. Quick and painless.
More so you.
No one knew who he was or what kind of quirk he possessed, but what they did know was that he wanted Deku and you dead.
You were his main target.
You had to have body guards follow you around everywhere you went.
You were unable to attend your normal classes.
There had been multiple times in the last few weeks when you'd hear a loud bang and immediately duck to hide. You didn't wonder where the shooting was coming from, you knew it was Enigma, trying to take you out from wherever he hid.
The only person you had was Deku, as you two decided to stay close and support each other. It wasn't easy, but you both tried to be as positive as you could.
You'd often catch Deku muttering to himself possible theories as of to why you two could possibly be the main targets. If you had stopped villains that he had connections with, if there was something of yours he'd want...so many theories, not enough answers.
He never seemed to get anywhere.
Eventually, the pros caught Enigma. It was all over the news. Reporters immediately rushed to the scene to get answers. Everyone wanted an explanation.
Though students weren't authoritized to witness villain questioning, they made an exception for your class. You all stood safely behind pro heroes such as All Might, Aizawa, and Present Mic.
There he sat, tied up in a chair. Though he studied everyone in the room, he refused to make eye contact with you or Deku. Almost like he was disgusted by you.
Aizawa was the first one to speak, "Do you want to try to explain yourself?"
Enigma stayed silent.
Beside you, Iida stepped forward, "Are you not going to say anything? You can't back out now! Explain why you tried to kill my classmates!"
"It's not about what they've done." His voice was low and gravely. He spoke quietly, yet that one sentence alone managed to silence everyone.
Ochaco tried to calm Iida down, but all it did was fire him up more, "You've stalked them, terrorized them, and tried to murder them, yet when confronted you can't at least speak to them? Explain yourself villain! What could they possibly have done to deserve this?!"
"You are all doomed if you don't let me kill them...doomed, I tell you."
Enigma didn't respond.
"Why would we be doomed?" Aizawa's voice was calm. He didn't seem to take Enigma's words seriously.
"Yeah, is there something we don't know?" Present Mic pushed.
Aizawa tried a different approach, "What's your quirk?"
"Honest eye...whenever I look at someone, I know exactly who they are and what they'll become."
"Is that why you kill?"
"You should thank me. I cleared out the majority of potential future villains."
If Enigma only killed people who would grow to become terrible people, then...
A chill ran down your spine. Could it really have been true? Had this man been saving everyone?
There had been a popular question that had always been debated; If you could go back in time and kill an evil person while they were just a baby, would you?
The whole idea behind it was that there was no real right answer.
Some saying they would to save everyone.
Some saying they wouldn't because they fear the consequences it could bring.
Thankfully, no one ever had to think about it for too long because it was impossible to do. No one ever had to make that decision.
But Enigma did.
He faced that decision everytime he looked at someone.
You wondered what his victims would've grown up to do had he not stopped them.
Had he made the right choice?
As you wondered about his past targets, you began to wonder about yourself.
"You're doomed," Enigma sang, "doomed, doomed, doomed."
"What did you see in your vision?" Aizawa asked. For the first time during this whole questioning, your mentor actually seemed...slightly worried.
"Cities destroyed. Lives lost. All at the hands of two of your students."
"Young Y/N and Midoryia?" All Might gasped. "No, that's impossible."
A few chuckles were heard, followed by amused whispers.
"Oh please, as if Deku could do any of that." Bakugou scoffed, "He'd break all of his bones, blow up, and die before he'd ever get the chance to kill anyone."
"Very helpful, Kacchan." Deku muttered.
"Do you think this is a joke?"
Everyone went silent.
"Do you think this is funny? The sights I've seen? Oh yes, let's laugh at the crazy man. None of you ever listen." Enigma writhed in his seat, "Let's see if you all start laughing once you see this."
A giant eye materialized before you. Aizawa went to use his quirk, but All Might stopped him.
"Look..."
The eye blinked, and inside you could all see a vision. Enigma's vision.
You circled him, looking at him as if he were a kicked puppy, "Oh get up, Deku. Don't tell me you're already tapped out."
Crumbling buildings, foggy skies. At the center of this horror landscape, lied you and Deku.
Deku sat, his back rested against a rock. He held onto his side in pain, blood spilling from between his fingers as he tried to even out his breathing.
Deku tried to stand on his wobbly feet, his breaths short and shallow. "It's not too late to change. You don't have to keep doing this."
"I chose my path and you chose yours. There's no going back. Why do you even bother? Isn't it tiring always having to be the good guy?" You swept a foot underneath Deku's, and he fell to the floor. "Poor little hero...all alone... with no love or support. The people you're saving aren't even greatful."
"You don't know that."
"Oh but I do. I'm sure your fans found you amusing for awhile...but the one thing they love more than a hero, is to see a hero fall."
"That's not true–" You kicked him in the stomach.
"You've seen how quickly the crowd turns against the heroes. How easily their minds can be changed. What makes you the exception?" You kneeled down, grabbing a fistful of Deku's messy hair. You lifted his head, staring him dead in the eyes, "In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually they'll hate you. Remember that." You dropped his head, letting it land against the cement.
You stepped away, off to who knows where before Deku spoke up, "Will the League...really...make things better?"
You smiled, "Of course."
"I'm in."
The vision ended.
Silence.
"Not so funny now, is it?" Enigma laughed. And he laughed. And he laughed. And he laughed so loud that it was all you could focus on.
You don't remember being pushed out of the room.
You don't remember all of your friends arguing about whether or not the vision was true.
You don't remember Deku avoiding you for the rest of the day.
You just remember Enigma's laughs,
And his promises of the inevitable doom you would bring.

recap
Moving towards your own station, a look of determination is set on your face.
'Time for Plan B: Do the bare minimum and go after the faux villain with zero points to say at least I tried when I truly didn't to commence!'
|
|
You take a glance at the students around you, some having faces of confidence while others looked damn near ready to drop out.
'Okay,' after a deep breath and some short stretches you walk up closer to the gates,'let's do this!'
Right as you finish your pep talk, Present Mic's voice fills the arena.
"Start!"
You burst into a sprint, leaving the gawking and still frozen students behind in the dust as you move further into the simulated city.
"Remember listeners, there are no countdowns in a real battle! So go! You're wasting time!"
Not even a minute later the sounds of explosions and battle-cries appeared.
You had to admit, these kids were beasts when it comes to wanting to get into UA.
One moment you'd see a 1pointer, and when you blink, it was gone; bits and pieces of metal being the only evidence it ever existed.
A good portion of your time consisted of you avoiding any robots while also dodging numerous fallen metal scraps.
With your only tasks being not being flattened or spotted, it gave you enough time to observe the 'competition'.
And truth be told, you felt bad for most of them.
While those with flashier quirks stole both the show and villain points, others resorted to finding other ways to gain points - some not at all.
"Dammit!"
Your head instinctively snaps towards the source of the angered shout.
He seemed to also dodge and avoid any falling metal while failing to destroy any of the robots.
A cracking sound echoes through the air.
You look up in time to see a destroyed robot fall back into a building, causing a big chunk to break off and tumble down.
Right above the boy.
"H-hey! Look out!" Your panicked scream makes the indigo-haired boy stop and look at you in confusion.
'Shit shit shit!'
Without a second to waste, you rush over, dodging any debris on the ground as the shadow of the falling piece of rock gets bigger.
"Fucking MOVE! IT'S GONNA FLATTEN YOU!!"
It seemed your words were finally processed in his head when he looks up.
His eyes widen in fear, body frozen from shock.
Putting all you have in your legs, you let out a shout and jump.
The boy releases an oof when your body makes in contact with his, both of you rolling and tumbling across the concrete just as the debris hits the ground.
Your eyes are closed, heart thundering in your chest as you lay on the rapidly beating ground.
Wait...rapidly beating ground?
You immediately sit up, looking down at the boy you somehow ended up landing on.
He could only stare up at you in surprise as your arms caged the side of his head like some cliche romance story.
With a yelp, you roll off him and kneel next to his still laid figure.
"A-are you okay? I didn't hurt you did I?" With a quick yank, he's pulled into a sit-up position.
"I'm...I'm fine," He ignores your second question and gets up with a sigh, "just bit off more than I can chew apparently. Couldn't even avoid some falling rocks...seems I'm not hero material after all."
You notice the way his hands clench into fists as he says that.
Not wanting to deal with whatever life problems he has on his own, you began to walk away.
That is until you suddenly picture Izuku in that same position of being told he wasn't hero-worthy.
"You know you shouldn't listen to them."
He looks at your back with furrowed brows. "Huh?"
"Whoever told you those lies. That you'll never become a hero. You shouldn't give up just because some bastard tells you to do so. Quirk or quirkless, villain or hero categorized quirk. Show them you mean business. That you have a goal and plan to stick with it."
His eyes widen at your words.
For years, that's all he's been told: he would be a villain. His quirk wasn't meant for good, but evil.
To hear a random stranger finally speak the exact words he's always wanted someone to say, the fire in his heart was set ablaze.
"Hitoshi Shinso...my name is Hitoshi Shinso."
"Well HitoshiShinso," you turn to look at him with a smile, "are you gonna prove that you're more than just society's standards of a hero? Or are you just gonna quit?"
Taking his silence as an answer, you give him a wave and continue walking. "Look forward to seeing your success, HitoshiShinso! Who knows, you might be the one saving me next time we meet~"
═════════════════*˚✿❀༓❀✿*˚*══════════════════
Minutes pass of you sneaking and passing through the fake city, occasionally helping a fellow participant whenever they're in trouble.
'Eh, what's the least that could happen? Not like I'm getting graded on helping...'
You stumble at the feeling of large tremors shaking through the ground, screams and crying reaching your ears not a second later.
You immediately dash forward, sidestepping students as they run towards the way you came from.
"Run! It's the zero-pointer!" A passing person screams out as they continue to run away.
"Wait...zero-pointer?" It took a moment before you realized what that meant causing you to bounce in excitement, "hell yes! Time to start Plan B!"
Not wanting to waste any more time, you speed towards where the zero-pointer should be.
"Wha-where are you going?!"
"You idiot! Go this way!"
"You're going to get yourself killed!"
You snort at their words. "Come on! Do you really think they're going to let children get hurt in this? I bet it's not even...that...oh shit."
Your words trail off once you take a good look at what they were running from.
There in all its glory stood the zero-pointer, enormous enough to fill the entire street while its claw-like hands caused nearby buildings to crumble just by a brush.
"Well damn...I see why y'all running." Releasing a sigh, you simply turn around with a shrug and get ready to follow the escaping crowd, "Welp, Plan B is out. So let me just go and—"
Your body stiffen at the sound before you could see them.
Screams, full of panic and distress.
Eyes zooming around the area as the thundering footsteps get nearer, you finally spot them: two people stuck in its path.
With one injured in the leg, the other was there for support as they try to run away.
Fortunately, it appeared you were the only one to notice. Unfortunately, it meant they were going to be squashed by the zero-pointer.
'Okay, I'll just grab its attention and go down another pa—' Your planning was cut off by another round of screams.
Searching for the cause, you see the zero-pointer's hand knocking into a nearby building causing some debris to crumble and fall.
Right where the two students were located.
"Are you shitting me?!"
Your heart thunders as you rush over to them, the world seems to fall into slow motion as you see them cower in preparation of getting hit.
'Think think think! It's too far to run and Zuki isn't here to take the rosary off. What can I do?!'
Body frantically moving, you pause at the familiar weight in your skirt pocket.
"Of course!"
Quickly grabbing the pouch of seeds, you grab the mini bag labeled grapes and pour the tiny seeds into your palm.
"Please let this work," with a quick mutter under your breath, you force the seeds into rapid growth and make the thick vines grow into a dome-like shape.
Not a second later, a heavy thud hits the vines.
You grit your teeth, body slightly shaking as you force the vines to hold up a little longer.
Sounds of awe come from the two students, you look up only to realize they were staring at you.
"Hi, name's Akashiya ____! Love meeting you and all," a strained smile is given as your knees began to buckle, "but I'd really appreciate it if you could leave and hide from that zero-pointer's view. Mind doing that?"
"O-oh right! Thank you for saving us, it's very manly of you!" The black-haired boy breaks out of the trance first and sends you a sharp toothy smile.
Sending him a sharp head jerk towards the direction of a couple of fallen debris to hide behind, he catches the hint and takes the injured girl away.
"The name's Kirishima Eijiro by the way!" His fading voice makes you relax in relief.
"Whew! Now that's ove—"
Your words are cut off by the sudden crash of both vines and pieces of rock.
On top of you.
Kirishima's wide eyes stare at the pile, mouth dropped open as he became a witness of a possible death.
It wasn't until he heard a few hacking coughs did he spot your disheveled form fanning away the floating dust around.
"Are you alright?!"
"Yeah!" You scratch the back of your head with a sheepish grin, "Turns out I relaxed too much after you left. Caused my powers to weaken and crash. B-but I'm fine, the rocks fell behind me. Look!"
Jumping up, you give a huge thumbs up causing the boy to let out a small laugh.
"TARGET ACQUIRED."
Once again, damn.
A jolt of fear travel down your spine, body shaking as you face the zero-pointer before you.
You just had to jump around like a dumbass just to prove to some cute boy that you're alright.
Not to mention your juice pack. Oh, your uneaten juice pack! Poor baby was the only thing that truly faced harm by the collapse.
Half of its contents was wasted, leaving a giant bloodstain covering the side of your skirt as the finishing result.
And so, this is how you're going to leave the world: dead with blood on your skirt as if you had the period of a lifetime.
Tears pricked the corner of your eyes as you back away from the metal beast only to stop at the debris-made wall behind you.
At this point, you wished everything actually did collapse on top of you when it fell. At least they can say you died saving others.
You blink at a sudden realization. "Wow. I'm really gonna die a hero. The one thing I've avoided doing for nearly fifteen years of my life. The irony I tell ya."
The zero-pointer loomed over your trembling form.
Adrenaline rush faded, your exhausted body refused to take another step.
'Move...why won't you move!' Hands clenched into fists, flashes of your parents fill your head, flashes of Izuku's smiling face, hell even a scowling Bakugo.
Your head bows as tears continue to spill from your eyes, feet glued to the ground as you accepted defeat.
Unbeknownst to you, your rosary begins to glow, steadily growing brighter which each passing second.
"AKASHIYA GET AWAY FROM THERE!" Kirishima's shrill scream was the tipping point.
The rosary's red glow suddenly cuts off.
The once healthy flowers in your hair suddenly wilt and fall to the ground. Silvery white bleeds into your locks until no strand of [hair color] is left behind.
Your eyes open, revealing a set of blood-red irises.
The slitted pupils in your eyes thin as they take in the situation around them, landing on the charging faux villain with a hint of humor in them.
"Oh? Seems to be a test of some sor—"The zero-pointer punches the spot you're standing at causing a scream of disbelief to fall from Kirishima and other examinees around.
Dust billows around the area as people began to murmur.
"Is...is she dead?"
"I never knew there would be actual deaths in these exams..."
"Poor girl."
Kirishima's pupils shake as he continues to stare at where he last saw you.
Nothing but a crater and a patch of blood as a reminder of your existence.
You saved him...
...only to die.
"Poor girl indeed," the dust clears revealing you standing a few feet away from the crater with a blank, unamused face, "not only did you try to defeat me by some measly punch, but you even wasted the rest of my lunch. Tsk tsk, didn't your creator ever teach you manners?"
The robot attempts to attack you again only to fail.
Within a blink, you appear on the robot's shoulder. "Hmm...appears not."
You avoid the grappling hand and jump onto its other shoulder.
"Let me make it clear, you scrap piece of metal."
With a small lift of your foot, you stomp on its arm, causing the metal to tear off and land on the ground with a loud thud.
You miss the gawks and gasps of the audience around you as you focus on the zero-pointer.
"I'm not one to be trifled with." You do the same to its other arm, leaving it defenseless as it stands there.
Even so, the faux villain continues to walk up to you as if it can still beat you. A small smile pulls at your lips.
"You know...I'm actually in awe. Such drive, such motivation," your smile drops, a snarl of disgust taking its place, "almost pitiful to watch. Robot or not, you will never defeat me!"
Jumping into the air with such grace, you land a kick to its head, sending the metal contraption meters away until it finally lands with a blinding explosion.
Tumblr media
You brush your hair back with an indignant sniff. "Just as I thought: weak..."
"TIME'S UP!" The booming voice of Present Mic fills the area.
People immediately flock towards you asking question after question only to stop with one sharp glare.
Most deciding their life is better to have, they continue towards the exit to seek help for any injuries.
"Recovery Girl is on her way, so just stay tight!"
"T-thank you for trying to help me earlier."
"Of course! It wouldn't have been very manly of me if I hadn't."
Your body stiffens. Taking another breath of air, the slits in your eyes thin once again as a sweet scent fills your nose.
'Mmmm, so there are others like him.'
Kirishima flinches at the sudden sight of you before him. "A-akashiya!"
Everything about you was different. From the change of hair color to the disappearance of the calming scent you gave off.
Your eyes are what troubled him the most.
No longer did they hold a certain kind of warmness in them, but instead pure coldness.
His body shakes as you continue to observe him, it took nearly all the self-control he has to keep himself from running away.
Especially when you grab his chin and force him to look at you.
"Yes, you will do," his brows furrow in confusion until you look him dead in the eyes, "when I faint, offer me your neck."
A flush fills the boy's face. "W-what?!"
"That shouldn't be too hard. It's the least you could do after I risked both my life and wasted my food saving you." You narrow your eyes at him, daring him to defy.
Kirishima mouth purses. 'She's right. It's the least I could do. What kind of man would I be if I can't help a fellow comrade in need!'
With a sigh, he gives you a nod despite his eyes still shining with hesitation. "Alright...I'll do it."
Just as he says that, your rosary turns back on, causing your retransformation.
He let out a gasp of awe at the sight of your red eyes shifting back to [eye color].
Silver hair turning back into its original [hair color] shade, new pink blossoms bud back into its strands with a scent of nectarine wafting off you once more.
You began to lean with a groan before falling to the ground.
"Woah!" Grabbing your shoulders, Kirishima gently sits on his knees and holds you in his arms. "I've got ya...I've got ya."
You feel someone tenderly brushing some hair from your face and let out a jumbled mass of unintelligible words.
Blinking open your eyes, everything is blurred and out of focus. The only thing you could pick up on was a scent of sweetness.
'Zuki? He's here...that must mean—'
"...blood..."
Even with your word being soft and slurred Kirishima understood.
"U-um...here," though still hesitant, he shyly pulls you closer, giving your mouth clear access to his neck.
Feeling skin against your lips with the beating of a pulse just underneath the layer, you immediately sink your teeth in.
A glow of red directs Kirishima's attention to the rosary hanging at your neck.
Huh?
Why is it glowing?
You let out a sigh of content after a few more moments of drinking Izuku's blood.
Although...something about it tastes different...
Pulling away from his neck, you blink your eyes a few more times only for them to widen in shock.
Ummm...what the FUCK is this?! This ain't Izuku!
Voice caught in your throat, you're unable to speak.
"Are you alright? Did you have enough to drink?" The concern in Kirishima's eyes causes all awkwardness to melt away.
Your lips soften into a smile. "Yeah. Thank you by the way. I'm sure you were uncomfortable doing something like this."
A spiky grin fills your view as he helps you up off the ground. "Nonsense! After you willingly saved me and that girl, I couldn't let you stay weak when I could help. Wouldn't be very manly of me."
"____!"
You turn to see Izuku waving near the entrance of the gate.
"Ah..." Looking back towards Kirishima, you send him an apologetic smile and bow, "I'm sorry! I wish our time was longer, but it seems my friend is ready to go. It was very nice to meet you! Thank you for everything, really I mean it."
A blush fills his cheeks as he rubs the back of his neck. "I should be the one thanking you for everything! It's the least I could do after you saved my butt. Hopefully, we will end up in the same hero-course class?"
Despite wanting to tell him you most definitely won't end up in hero course due to lack of points, you decide on simply smiling. "Fingers cross. Who knows, we may see each other very soon!"
"Alright!"
With a wave of goodbye, you run towards Izuku with an excited grin, ready to tell him the events of today and vice-versa.

Maybe
(Mina Ashido x Class 1B Fem!Reader)
[ one sided angst for the sad gays ]
Maybe it’s the way she sheepishly smiles at me.
Like how she did the very first time we face-timed, with her sitting on the stairs of her dorm building, surrounded by fallen leaves on the steps around her, and me at the run down take-out restaurant, waiting for our order outside to avoid the embarrassing antics of her friends from 1A.
Like how she did every time I asked her about the English assignments we both put off until the last second, with her never completing them.
Like how she did when her pink hands traced her name in dark blue marker on the palm of my hand, reassuring me the ink was meant for skin and pointing at my name written messily on her forearm.
Maybe it’s the way she laughs embarrassingly loud.
Like how she did when we hung out at the mall that one day during spring break, snapping a horrible picture of us both cramped into a toy car that costs way too much to move back and forth.
Like how she did sitting on her bed when we skipped class but stayed in her dorm because she wanted someone to work with, knowing neither of us would get anything done sitting across from each other.
Like how she did when we were swinging on some old people swing at the park way too far from UA’s campus, plotting to break into the playground of the nearby elementary school and complaining about the strong winds.
Maybe it’s how effortlessly beautiful she can be.
Like how she looked that first time we face timed, smiling widely and averting her gaze, giggling at me when I accidentally screen shot her face.
Like how she did during a middle school festival, spending the overpriced evening under soft fairy lights on a lawn littered with tables and away from overhyped, sweaty teens, talking and laughing about everything on our minds.
Like how she did that day she wore her hair tied back during training, restrained from flowing in warm, summer morning breezes, scoffing when I asked if she likes her hair that short despite my meaning it fondly.
Maybe it’s the way she drops hints at me.
Like how she missed our middle school graduation for some trip her family planned too early, but still brought a singular orange rose with her the next time we met to congratulate me with.
Like how she casually mentioned that she wasn't straight during the walk to a nearby convenience store after the Sports Festival, trading stories about the day’s countless experiences, and wondering when our bodies would give out.
Like how she did when she told me after a day of only hanging out with the her classmates that I was her favorite person to be with, ‘better’ than the rest of her squad.
Maybe it’s the way she drifts away everyday.
Like how she took over two days to respond to a single text, her past self scrambling to respond as soon as incoming messages were delivered.
Like how she declined any requests to see each other, using jokes to excuse her absences and telling me she had a bad feeling about that day, or that the heatwave would melt her faster than her quirk.
Like how she hadn’t sent a single hint of life in over a month, contact sitting below even the most distant of relatives and countless pestering spam messages.
Maybe it’s the way I misread, or even overanalyzed our every move.
Like how I thought her sheepish smile was reserved for me.
Like how I thought I had never heard her laugh that loud around anyone else.
Like how I thought no one else could see the immense and utterly indescribable beauty she seems to exert at any given moment of her existence.
Like how I thought that singular orange rose was somehow more than just a congratulations for a stupid graduation.
Maybe it’s the way she exists, and will continue to, even if it isn't in my sights.
Like how she’ll go through our final years of hero school without me, perhaps without my face crossing her mind even once.
Like how she’ll meet new classmates and friends, one who will walk her to class everyday and say it’s only because it’s on the way to theirs.
Like how she’ll go to events with them, and show up an hour late to talk around a dimly lit table and take pictures while they laugh at people.
Like how she’ll graduate with them, and make plans to take pictures beforehand, hugging and laughing as they go to some after party.
Like how she’ll go off to become the amazing hero Pinky, opening her own agency and working her way up the ranks the way she planned with me.
Maybe it’s the way I’ll continue to miss her and what we had for years to come, even if for her it was never that.

┊͙. ݁₊ ⊹ ₊ ະ ೃ ⊹ ˖ ݁₊ ⊹ ·˚ ༘ . ⸝⸝⸝ ݁˖ . ݁₊ ⊹ ༉‧₊
it was summer time when you’d first met him.
the evening air was sticky, full of laughter and deep fried sweets. festival games, music, and fireworks that had just begun. with friends, you walked under the stars, not expecting the night to take you where it did.
somehow without realizing it, you stood next to the glittering lake, him in front of you. and his blonde hair illuminated in the warm lanterns.
you’d unintentionally walked away from your friends. all because of the way the moonlight hit the water, you just had to get a picture. but you weren’t expecting him to be there, a scowl on his face. and in his hands, he held a chocolate brown stuffed bunny with a light pink ribbon tied around its neck. the same one you’d been eyeing when you first arrived at the festival, the one you begged your friends to try and win for you since you weren’t really good at festival games.
he said nothing as he held the bunny out to you that night, and only grunted with annoyance when you stared at him. and once you’d realized he was trying to give it to you, you wondered why. but there was no chance to ask his reasoning before he walked away without a word.
the memories came back once you’d seen him for a second time. a saturday evening. the weeks of the summer had slowly passed by, and the heat was seemingly at its peak.
the ‘little angels ice cream parlor’ was an establishment surrounded by blush pink walls and tables in shades of cream. the doors were painted in a bright cornflower blue, with crimson hearts and baby angel drawings on its center. with the way the blonde boy scowled at everything, the skull in the center of his black shirt, it looked like he didn’t belong there. yet there he was, staring right at you with a face that was hard to read.
there was an amber and scarlet sunset painted in the sky, you could see it when you glanced out one of the many windows. you couldn’t keep your eyes focused when you were nervous, and that was why you were able to so easily describe the shades of the outdoors, instead of focusing on the customer in front of you. there really wasn’t much of an excuse for your actions, it was just the two of you inside, yet you found the air in the room suddenly suffocating.
you decided that it was in your best interest to remain a level of professionalism….once you got your heart rate under control.
“uh, what can i get for you?” there was an attempt to make your voice sound as sweet as possible, though it only ended up sounding small and unsure, which you hated.
his voice was rough when he responded back to you.
“i want my usual.”
you felt your heart drop past your feet. the word “usual” deeply scared you, as a new employee. you had only started working at the small ice cream shop a few days ago. would it be worth the risk of your reputation by admitting you don’t know him or his usual? (you wanted to seem like you knew what you were doing) or was it not worth that much thought as he was only a customer? a person like you were. you didn’t have much of a choice as you couldn’t just assume what his usual was.
“i’m sorry sir, but ahem — ” you cleared your throat, your mouth suddenly dry.
“i’m… not aware of your usual.”
should you tell him that you just started working here? you decided that the answer was yes.
“i just started working here only a few days — ”
he groaned before you could even finish your sentence.
“strawberry cheesecake, two scoops, caramel drizzle, sprinkles, in a cup.” he gruffed out the words like they were the most obvious thing in the world, shoving his hands in his pockets, and making you feel more and more like an idiot.
“right. and your name?”
he looked at you confused.
“fuck you need my name for?”
your hands began to sweat and your body naturally started to shift weight between both feet. does he normally have this ability to make people nervous? like they’re always saying something wrong? or was it just you?
you adjusted your apron that was suddenly too tight before you spoke again.
“its just policy.” and in truth it was. it was an easy way to remember an order when a lot of customers filled the shop. except that this time, it was just you and him. and you really only wanted to know his name, to hear what it sounded like when he said it. maybe you’d say it back.
another groan before he spoke, he did that a lot you realized. “bakugo katsuki.”
but then you couldn’t help your smile, and you could have sworn you saw his lips twitch and a pink hue appear on his ears. or maybe you were imagining things.
“alright. thanks, bakugo.” you grabbed the blue and pale yellow ice cream cup along with a black marker, beginning to write his name.
you wondered if you shouldn’t have said his name as sweetly as you did, finally gaining some confidence after noticing what you wanted to believe was a blush. though you couldn’t help yourself. there was a desire in you to tell him that you thought he was cute, or that you wanted his number, or that you’d want to hang out, or all of the above. but to do it in working hours would be strange for you. maybe if you were to see him at another moment in another setting, you’d have the ability to say what you felt. however, it wouldn’t be today.
you handed his ice cream to him once you’d finished preparing it and ringing up his order. you smiled again, trying to find his eyes and fill the air in the room with politeness. though the effect was not what you expected. he only scowled as he looked down at you. as if each minute that passed caused him to grow more and more annoyed with you, and you couldn’t explain why.
a beat of silence before anyone said or did anything.
he blinked at you and his eyes held such sharpness. but in an instant you detected the pink you’d previously noticed on his ears, spreading down to his cheeks. like he was embarrassed about something you had no in on.
he sighed. a small “thanks” and he was walking out the door. would this be the last time you’d ever see him? would your childhood dreams of summer romance never come true because you were letting this one cute guy who gave you a stuffed animal weeks ago walk away?
you couldn’t stop yourself before you spoke again.
“uh, wait!” you called after him and he paused, his hand firm on the door handle.
there was a part of you that desperately wanted to know if he remembered you from that day in the early summer. to know if he thought of you even when he wasn’t trying to, like you did with him. even if the interaction was fleeting, could there be a chance for you and him to get to know one another more?
but of course, you didn’t say any of this. suddenly becoming hyper aware of your own thoughts, and you realized how silly you sounded. the moments were passing by and now you had to save yourself because he was staring you down, waiting for some sort of answer.
“ um, get home safe…it’ll be dark soon.”
he fully turned around at that, taking you in and you wanted to shrink back into yourself. maybe that wasn’t as good of a save as you thought it was.
a look up and down, and up and down again. he grunted before saying “yeah, back at you.” before leaving the shop. there was a glance at your frame from the outside of the building, once, twice, and then you couldn’t see him anymore.
you’d noticed how the sunset turned from a scarlet color to shades of an early blue, the dark almost fully engulfing the sky. and looking down at your tiny watch, you realized that the shop was supposed to have closed five minutes ago.
——————————————————————— 🍨
the third time you saw him was once again in the ice cream shop, though this time the air wasn’t as tight and the day wasn’t fading into night.
it was a particularly warm afternoon with a breeze that only came every five minutes or so. there were only two other people in the shop, a couple. enjoying their ice cream and talking about their day in the far right corner of the building. and you were the only one working again.
bakugo katsuki walked in with the same arrogant attitude as before, scanning the room like he owned the place, before his eyes finally settled on you.
a rush of nervous energy coursed through your veins. you set your eyes on him and gave the same warm smile you gave to many other customers. an attempt to keep your cool this time around.
it was the same routine as the time before. but today, you had more words at your disposal and there was a normal amount of confidence that never left you. this time you allowed yourself to appear like you could actually function like a normal person.
“let me guess. your usual right?” you lightly teased as you grabbed the shop’s signature ice cream cup and the caramel drizzle from the red cabinet behind you. and you decided that today would be a much better conversation.
he rolled his eyes and nodded.
“tch, yeah.”
you came to the conclusion that he wasn’t much of a conversationalist. but that was fine, you’d make this work one way or another.
you moved to scoop the ice cream from its tub in the freezer when you noticed his silver necklace similar to that of a dog tag. it wasn’t much but it could be a point of conversation if you played your cards right.
a beat before you spoke. “i like your necklace.”
you’re drizzling the caramel over the two scoops of strawberry cheesecake ice cream, then lightly throwing the sprinkles on top of it all.
he looked back at you, a bit confused, with that familiar pink spreading across his face. he looked as if he didn’t really know what to say, so he only replied with a simple: “uh, thanks.”
all you could do was nod your head and smile. and you smiled even wider when an idea popped into your head.
“do you like strawberries bakugo?”
“what?” he was confused now and he had no intention of hiding that fact.
“do you…like strawberries?” you asked again, hands innocently clasped behind your back. you searched his eyes for an answer he had yet to tell you. and there was a short pass of seconds before he spoke.
“i guess.” he couldn’t look at you for very long today.
but that was the only answer you needed before you walked to the farthest left side of the counter to open the small refrigerator full of fruits and other things needed to make the ice cream even sweeter. with an almost elegance, you plucked two of the pre-sliced berries and stuck them on the side of his desert. you were proud of your work, and hoped your addition to his ice cream would mean something to him.
“this gonna be extra?” he looked the desert up and down, and then you. you didn’t want to freak yourself out but it felt as if he was staring at the bottom half of your face a bit longer than socially acceptable.
his expression only made you smile. and you realized that there was something about his gruffness that you found….charming.
“no no! it’s the same price, i just thought you’d enjoy something special.” a smile on your face and he looks surprised. no longer angry or annoyed. maybe this was a start?
“that’s nice…i guess.”
that was the last thing he said before he walked out the shop. and you hated to turn a situation into something bigger than it was, but when you saw him eat the strawberries before anything else on his desert, you couldn’t help but find it meaningful.
this steady routine the two of you created, continued for the next couple of weeks.
a thursday afternoon. the blonde made his entrance. the same order, though this time he asked for the little strawberries again. a small joke from you, and a short puff of air from him. a glance that lasted a bit too long. and he was gone.
the next evening, friday. there’s more people today and your coworkers are here now. though you find yourself wishing for more alone time with him.
you made a comment on how the amber on his shirt matched the amber in his eyes. and you thought maybe he liked the compliment, because the fleeting smirk he gave you carved itself into your memory.
each day you found yourself growing and feeling closer to him. even though the interactions were far and few in between, they lasted a little longer during the passing moments. you’d make a joke, and he’d roll his eyes and smile a little. he’d inquire about where you went to school and why you were “always in the same damn ice cream shop,” as if he wasn’t always here either. it was nice to be let in on the small details about him. yet you still couldn’t let go of that one summer evening. that small stuffed bunny. you wondered if it was really just another day to him. should you let go of those thoughts like he clearly has?
you couldn’t help but ponder your feelings as you walked through the local street market. on yet another saturday.
it was the time of day where the sun and moon both stood in the same sky, and the early shades of blue faded to something deeper. there was a certain familiarity in the air that made you feel at home.
your mission at the market was simple. you’d only come to buy your favorite brand of cinnamon swirl cookies to replace your now empty stash at home.
it was all going according to plan at first.
you made your way through the crowds of people, eventually finding the stand of sweets run by the small old woman you’d come to befriend. buying your cookies and going on about your evening was the goal. until you bumped into something.
someone rather.
there was a grunt that was all too familiar.
“watch where you’re — oh.”
you looked up to see the same blonde you’d grown close to as the days went by. wearing the same rough scowl and silver necklace. with eyes that seemed to glow in the red lanterns of the market.
you looked up to see the same blonde you’d grown close to as the days went by. wearing the same rough scowl and silver necklace. with eyes that seemed to glow in the red lanterns of the market.
it was silent for a few moments. both of you taking in the sight in front of you.
a deep inhale, and you smiled.
“hi bakugo.”
he didn’t say anything.
“uh….what are you doing here?” you spoke again.
he wasn’t normally this type of quiet. it was usually the silence that indicated the other person was fed up with you, but this kind made it seem like he was caught off guard. like he wasn’t sure of what to say next.
but he managed to come up with something.
“spices.”
“what?”
“i’m getting spices.” he held up his paper bag to show you.
a silence again but this time it didn’t last as long.
“spices….do you like to cook bakugo?” you didn’t even notice, but somehow you ended up mindlessly following him to wherever it was he was going. so lost in his words and the way he carried himself.
“yeah i do. somethin’ wrong with that?” his strangely endearing aggression showed its face again, and you could only giggle. after interacting with him for all of this time you’d learn to not take him too seriously.
“no not at all i think it’s great! i’ve always wanted to learn how to cook, i’m not very good at it.”
he laughed at you then.
“everyone knows how to cook.”
“i don’t!” you couldn’t help but laugh as he laughed at you.
“that’s embarrassing. it’s a basic life skill, you should learn how to do that idiot.” he spoke with an almost playful air, absentmindedly guiding you through the crowd of people with a hand on the small of your back. it only lasted for a few seconds but to you it felt like forever.
this was the first time that conversation seemed to flow between the two of you. at the shop your words never extended past a compliment from you and a weird look from him. though today, this lucky moment, you could talk about anything. how he learned to cook, how you preferred the sunrise to the sunset, and the things that scared you as a child. all things he called stupid, as if he’d never had any childhood fears.
this bonding moment filled you up with something that was hard to describe, but lit up your skin and made your face feel like it was on fire.
a small beaded keychain caught your attention during a pause in your conversation.
it was a dainty thing. a silver chain with bright pink beads and a lotus flower dangling from the end. you couldn’t help but gravitate towards it, leaving bakugo’s side.
“oh how cute!” you smiled, grabbing it off of its hook and holding it against the night sky.
you looked up at the young man running the booth full of other keychains and trinkets. he stood there, chewing bright orange gum and mindlessly scrolling through his phone.
“how much?”
he seemed to not hear you, or maybe he didn’t care.
“uh excuse me? how much — ”
“hey! how much for the keychain dumbass.”
bakugo came to stand next to you, arms across his chest. the power in his voice was enough to cause the booth clerk to look up from his phone and immediately snap back into a sense of professionalism once he saw the expression on the angry blondes face.
with a slight quiver in his voice he told you the price.
but before you could even reach for your wallet bakugo was placing the small keychain in your hand, tucking the receipt in his pocket and swiftly walking away from you and the booth.
dumbfounded, you nodded a quick thank you to the booth owner, and raced to catch up with the boy. his hands were in his pockets again and for some reason he seemed to find the ground below him so interesting.
“hey! you didn’t need to — ”
“shut it.”
the way he’d acted now reminded you of the way he’d acted then, earlier in the summer when the heat was more unbearable than it was now. in front of the lake surrounded by moonlight, he’d done something similar, given you something you’d wanted without even asking him, and with little explanation. this unspoken sense of, kindness, interested you. and even though the moment you had now was nice and you wanted to enjoy it, to enjoy whatever energy he was giving you, you couldn’t stop yourself from asking the question that had been on your mind for weeks.
“how did you know i wanted that bunny at the festival, and why’d you give it to me?” your hands were clasped behind your back as you left the market. slowly making your way to the sidewalk, and then crossing the street to your quiet neighborhood.
he didn’t say anything for a while and you wondered if you ruined the mood by asking that. maybe he truly had forgotten, and your fixation made you look like a fool.
you were about to apologize for saying anything when he spoke up.
“i….overheard you.”
you weren’t sure what to say so you stayed silent, never taking your eyes off of the side of his face.
“my idiot friends challenged me to some dumb carnival game that i wasn’t even gonna play, when i heard you. you kept going on and on about how cute it was. you seemed to really want the damn bunny, so i thought i’d win it…..i don’t know why i did it, but i did.”
he looked at you so sincerely then that you’d wondered why he put up such a rough demeanor. his actions were so kind, even when he didn’t know you, and that itself was admirable. he did it for you just because he felt like it, not because you ever asked him to.
“that’s…really sweet. thank you.” you leaned your head a bit to try and catch his eye but he wasn’t having it. your favorite shade of pink appeared on his skin once more.
“don’t let it inflate your ego or whatever.”
you nodded and hummed in agreement, as if to say it won’t.
“but uh….you’re welcome.”
a smile from you, and he kicked a stray rock into a bush. back into your normal routine.
a comfortable silence had made its way between you two for the rest of your walk. every so often the scent of his spices and your cinnamon cookies would waft into your nose. and you’d blink up to the sky and wonder how many twinkling stars you could spot tonight. it was peaceful.
before you knew it you were in front of your house and realizing that bakugo had walked you all this way. once again doing something without you ever asking him to.
you walked up, two, three steps to your door before you turned to fully face him. taking in the way he looked under the light of your porch. almost soft.
“thank you for the keychain. and for walking me home. it was a nice time.”
a beat of silence.
“yeah whatever.”
neither of you knew what to do for the next few moments. there were words and thoughts and notions begging to spill from your lips as a byproduct of all your excitement, but you willed yourself not to say anything.
“well, uh, i’m gonna go inside now. see you around.”
a hand on the door and a slight creak before he called out:
“hold on.”
you turned to find his phone held in front of you, with a screen showing an empty space for you to put your phone number on the blank line.
you giggled before taking it from him, inputting the digits with shaking, giddy fingers.
but he wasn’t done.
he made a motion that signaled he wanted your phone as well, and who were you to stop yourself from giving it to him?
after the interaction, you looked down to see he’d saved himself as KATSUKI in all caps. and soon thereafter he turned his phone towards you to show you the name he’d given you.
weird strawberry cheesecake girl.
how oddly fitting.
“you can go inside now.” was all he said before he was walking down the steps of your porch and back to the crackly sidewalk, only looking back at you once. and that alone made you laugh. how seriously he took himself was beyond understanding to you, yet it never failed to make you laugh.
you were inside and in your bed when you’d received a message from him, only 10 minutes after he’d left you on your doorstep with a twist in your stomach and a flutter in your lungs.
“meet me at the lake tomorrow. we’re getting ice cream.”

" never was much of a romantic . "
Tumblr media
pairing: bakugo x fem! reader
# summary ; ACCURATE bakugo headcanons if he had a crush on you
# a/n ; bakugo they could never make me hate u
Tumblr media
when you first got to class 1a, he saw you just how he saw everyone else.. an "extra"
eventually there were times where you had no choice to communicate with him ( assigned partner projects, training matches, ect. )
the more he interacted with you, he started feeling "weird" as he would call it
for some very odd reason he wanted to be..nice to you? he caught himself looking at you more than he should, feeling like he should help you with any assignments you struggled on, and wanted to be around you more
he didn't know what he was feeling or why, so he tried to push it away but it continued.. he thought "maybe I just wanna be her friend.. or some shit like that."
after about 3 weeks of feeling like this he went to kirishima to see if he could find out what was going on , and when kiri told him he must have a crush on you he couldve pimp slapped him right there
now he wanted to avoid you, because he was afraid Kiri was right.. this feeling could only be a crush but did he wanna admit it?? no way in hell
but he couldn't avoid you for shit, so he'd interact with you first but not in a nice way..things like shitty pranks, sticking his foot out to trip you, giving you backhanded compliments ("you dont look as bad as you normally do"), stuff like that)
soon he became fully obsessed and goodness did he struggle with it.. he wanted you to be in his possession but was KATSUKI BAKUGO gonna confess his love emotions to you??? hellll no
he ended up getting kirishima to set you two up , because he couldn't bring himself to say anything to you about it at all without getting flustered and walking off , or accidentally being rude

I Could Be A Good Mother, and I Wanna Be Your Wife
Katsuki Bakugou x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Class 1A is given the surprise task of caring for baby dolls. Everyone is randomly paired up in two’s, and it’s just your luck that you get your crush as a partner.
Warnings: Bakugou may be a little ooc but I don’t care
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 6,512
Disclaimer: Reader is kept as diverse as possible but wears a skirt, uses the girls locker room, has long enough hair to run fingers through, calls herself ‘mother’, being able to birth a child, and was originally written with a fem aligned person in mind. This is safe for poc, and plus size readers. The majority of the fic is also safe for trans women readers but the bonus at the end is not. (Y/N) is used only once.
Important info before you read‼️
This fic was written originally with an OC of mine in mind, however, most people don’t read Canon x OC and while I normally wouldn’t care and wrote one anyway, I am very proud of this and want as many people to read it as possible and hopefully enjoy it. So with that in mind, I took out any describing factors and her name but I did keep some of her backstory and her quirk. If that bothers you, you can move on but I hope you read it anyway because I’m very proud of this.
Also, there is another OC of mine in this story, Usagi. She’s not integral to the plot and has no speaking roles. I had to add her to keep the class even, otherwise someone would’ve been a single parent.
Any feedback is very welcome and appreciated!

It was a Monday, a few weeks after the majority of Class 1A got their provisional hero licenses when Midnight and Recovery Girl entered the classroom. Aizawa had taken it upon himself to snuggle up in his yellow sleeping bag and take a nap after introducing the two women, leaving them to explain what today’s class is.
The students expected Midnight, considering she had taught a few of their classes before, but there were murmurs of why the school nurse was there.
“Listen up boys and girls! We have a very special and unique class for today!” Midnight announced as she raised her hand in the air, her leather whip clutched in her hand, catching the attention of everyone (who was awake) in the room.
“Today isn’t about hero work or everyday schoolwork. This lesson is special, it will help you all later in your lives if you choose this path. The path being….PARENTHOOD!” She exclaimed while striking an enthusiastic pose.
“Wait, what?!” “Seriously?” “What do you mean?!” A series of voices could be heard throughout the classroom.
“Settle down!” Midnight got the attention of the students. “This lesson is the most important lesson anyone can learn. Whether you want to become a parent or not, learning how to care for babies and children is a vital and selfless aspect of life.”
There were a couple hushed protests among the class but Recovery Girl talked over them. “You will have one week to care for these babies.” She explained as she pulled out eleven baby dolls of various genders and races. “These dolls are specially made for things like this. These babies will cry, make noises, “sleep”, “eat”, and soil its diaper like a real baby. They’re also able to record and grade you based on how quickly you can figure out and resolve its problem. And be careful what you say around it and how you say things. They can detect anger and verbal abuse which will drastically affect your score. Now…any questions?”
A bunch of hands were instantly raised. But that didn’t matter since Bakugou stood up and slammed his hands onto his desk and yelled. “WHAT THE HELL DO WE HAVE TO RAISE SOME DUMB BABIES FOR?! THIS IS THE HERO COURSE NOT A NURSEY COURSE!”
“Sit down.” Midnight said sternly. She took over the conversation. “While this lesson isn’t exactly meant to play into your hero work, this knowledge can be beneficial out in the field. For example, in some rescue operations, it can take hours for a child to be reunited with their family. Most of the time, medics will take the child and work with police to try and reunite them with their parents, but there are times where a hero must step in and care for and comfort the child. With older children around three to five years old, they’re easier to calm down. You can talk to them and explain the situation and reassure them. But babies and younger children are harder to console in high stress situations. If you learn these things now, you won’t be stressed if you ever get caught in a situation where you’re in charge of a small child. A lot of heroes are inexperienced with child care unless they are a parent themselves or have young family members. Think of this as getting ahead of a problem before it even starts. Make sense?”
Bakugou grumbled and sat back down.
“Eeeee This is going to be fun! We get to take care of cute babies!” Ashido squealed.
“I don’t think it will be that fun, Mina. Babies are a lot of hard work and dedication.” Asui chimed in, a finger lifted up to her lips. She had two younger siblings, so she knew a thing or two about raising kids.
“Correct you are, child.” Recovery Girl said. “The infant stage is one of the toughest stages of child rearing since they can’t communicate their needs and wants with words. It’s a lot of guessing and paying attention to their body language. However, these dolls do not move so you will have to rely on audio cues to guess what the child needs.”
Midnight spoke up. “You will be split up into groups of two all determined by a random draw. Because there are more boys than girls in this class, some of you will end up in a same sex partnership. You do not have to act as a real couple so don’t freak out if you’re partnered with someone you don’t have romantic feelings for. What’s important is teamwork on taking care of the baby. You are in charge of the child for the rest of this week, including the weekend. You may chose to either take turns or to split responsibility evenly. You will be given all the supplies you will need, if you end up needing more, Recovery Girl will help you. At the end of the week you will return the dolls and we will tally up the scores and see which couple has the lowest score. The lowest score is the winner since each mistake is marked based on how severe of a mistake it was. The higher the score, the worse you did. Any more questions?”
Iida quickly raised his hand. Midnight gestured for him to speak. He stood up and loudly asked “If we are to have the baby all day for the rest of the week, what do we do with it while training? You can’t expect us to take the baby with us! That’s highly dangerous and immoral and I would expect better from such a prestigious school!”
“Yes, you’re right. We don’t expect you to keep the doll with you while training. That’s why each of you will have to figure something out. One of you will have to sit out of training unless you can find a better option. Leaving the child in your dorm and hoping for the best is not an option and neither is bringing it to training and leaving it off to the side. It’s like real life. One of the parents has to stay home and care for the child. Sometimes they will get a babysitter but that is not an option for you since the scores need to come from you and your partner only for you to pass. If you really want to train that day, you’ll either have to talk it through with your partner, or train later in the day during your free time.” Midnight answered.
“Thank you very much for clearing this up.” Iida said, bowing deeply before taking his seat.
Midnight clapped her hands. “Alright! With everything out of the way, let’s draw for your partners.” She held up a blue plastic box. “In this box is twenty-two coloured tokens. There are eleven pairs. Each one of you will reach into this box and pull out one token, when everyone has a token, you will be given time to find the person with the same colour token. They will be your partner for the rest of the week. You may not switch partners. Each colour is already assigned to a baby as well, so you don’t get to chose that either.” As she finished explaining she walked around the room letting everyone reach in and pull out a token. When the box was empty she returned to the front and allowed the class to find their partners.
Midoriya and Uraraka had the yellow tokens, Shouji and Asui had the purple tokens, Mina and Kirishima had the red tokens, Kaminari and Jirou had the orange tokens, Hagakure and Yayorozu had the light blue tokens, Sero and Mineta had the black tokens, Usagi and Tokoyami had the dark blue tokens, Todoroki and Ojiro had the pink tokens, Iida and Aoyama had the green tokens, and Satou and Kouda had the white tokens.
You looked down at your brown coloured token and looked back up to scan the room. All your classmates were already paired up and either happily talking about how it would be to raise a baby together or complaining about their partner. You could faintly hear Mineta crying about not being paired up with a girl. You look across the room at Bakugou who was still sat at his desk, glaring at his token.
Upon closer look, you could see that it was the same colour as yours. You sighed, already accepting that you’ll basically be a single parent as you can’t imagine he’d want anything to do with this. You reluctantly stood up and made your way across the classroom to him.
“Um…hey. Looks like we have the same colour. Guess we’re partners for the week.” You said, gently.
“I can fucking see that. I’m not blind, dumbass.” He retorted.
Ah, it seems he’s decided to take on the verbally abusive and absent father route already. You’ll have to do your best to make sure you get a low enough score. You’ve never taken care of a baby before. You had baby dolls as a kid but they’ve never graded you before. This was a whole new challenge and you could feel the anxiety pooling in your stomach.
“Right…well. We should talk about how we want to do this.” You started. “I think we should take turns each day. I could take it today and you take it tomorrow and repeat. I know you probably don’t want to skip a day of training so I can take it during training even on your days. There’s not much really for me to train anyway so I can afford to lose a week of it.” You let out a weak laugh.
Bakugou growled. “Do whatever you want but don’t be stupid. You can train on the days I have it. Don’t stop your training over some dumb doll.”
“But…you would be stopping yours if you-“ You get cut off by the blonde.
“I’m already the best in this whole class! Missing a few days of training isn’t going to do anything. Besides, you’re weak and you need to be at your strongest so I can beat you and prove that I’m the best in this entire school!” He yelled. You think that was a compliment albeit he put it weirdly.
“Ha…yeah…okay.” You replied. Just then the bell rang and everyone started to put their stuff away. You went over to your desk to do the same.
“Please return your tokens to the box! And before you leave, pick up your baby with the matching colour onesie and the bag of necessities. You have the rest of the day to yourselves.” Said Midnight.
You slung your bag onto your back and walked to the front of the room and dropped your token back into the box. You waited for your classmates to fizzle out a bit so you could get your baby. The dolls were all lined up in car seats. You found the one wearing a brown onesie, a girl with blonde hair. You chuckled to yourself at the resemblance to your partner.
You grabbed the handle of the car seat and went to grab the big duffel bag next to it when someone grabbed it before you. You look over to see Bakugou standing over you, glaring off to the side.
“Move it.” He gruffed out as he slung the bag over his shoulder.
You left the classroom with Bakugou trailing behind you, still scowling. You turn around and start walking backwards to face him and hold out the car seat so he could see the doll nestled inside.
“Look. She looks like you.” You giggled. He glanced down at the blonde doll and huffed.
“Watch where you’re going, idiot.” He grumbled. You rolled your eyes and turned back around and followed your classmates to the dorms.
———————————————————————
Back in the dorms, everyone was changed out of their school uniforms and gathered in the common room with their new kids. Everyone of course…except for Bakugou, who very grumpily went to his room after dropping the bag of things off at your room.
You had went through the bag and found loads of diapers, clothing, a carrier that strapped to your chest, bottles, a pacifier, and some baby toys. You weren’t exactly sure why you would need toys, considering the baby isn’t actually real, but you guessed you’d find out the reason sooner or later.
You decided to change her out of her boring brown onesie so you picked out a cute outfit from the ones provided. You undid the buckles holding the baby in the car seat (why it came in a car seat when you don’t even know how to drive a car, you will not know) and gently and carefully lifted the little girl out of the seat, making sure to support her head.
As you laid her on the ground and started to undress her, she started making cooing noises.
“Oh! Hello….you must be awake now I guess.” You spoke to the baby as she cooed in reply. “Ha…I guess you are kinda cute.” You felt as if you were talking to yourself.
When your new daughter was dressed, you decided to go to the common room since you thought everyone would be there, and right you were. As you went down the hallway you could hear the excited chatter of your classmates getting louder. When you were in sight, Mina noticed you and waved you over.
“Hey! Come over here! We’re all showing off our babies!” She excitedly exclaimed. As you walked over, Kirishima stood up from his spot beside Mina and offered the space to you. You thanked him as you sat down and readjusted your baby in your arms.
“Course! What kinda man would I be if I didn’t offer a seat to a lady with a baby!” He replied. Ever so chivalrous, he is.
“Ha! That rhymed.” Kaminari pointed out.
“Awww you got a girl? How lucky!” Mina squealed. “Kirishima and I got a boy. We named him Kenji.” You looked down at her lap where the doll was laid on its back.
“You named it?” You asked.
“Well yeah! We can’t just keep calling him “it” and “the baby”.” She explained as if it was obvious.
Iida then chimed in, his baby tucked securely in one of his arms. “Yes, I suppose it would be beneficial to name the child. This is supposed to be taken seriously and we can not leave a child unnamed!”
There were murmurs of agreement throughout the room as everyone talked with their partners on what they should name their baby. You looked down to the small blonde doll in your arms that let out another coo and softly smiled.
“Riki…” You thought to yourself. “I’ll call you Riki.”
———————————————————————
“Riki?” Bakugou gawked. “You gave it a name?”
Bakugou was helping with making dinner, well, it was more like he forced everyone to let him do most of it because “no one was doing it right”. You were stood out of the way but within talking distance, your newly named baby in one arm and holding a bottle up to her mouth as she “ate”.
“First off, she’s a she not an “it”. Secondly, everyone in the class named their baby. We have to take this seriously and I’m not going to call her an “it” the whole week. Besides…I thought Riki would be a good name. It means “strong”….and since she kinda looks like you, I figured you’d want your kid to be strong like you so…” You trailed off looking down at the doll in your arms. “We can change it though if you really don’t like it.”
Bakugou huffs. “No…call it-…..call her whatever you want.” He continues to cook in silence. There’s a faint blush on his cheeks. You smile softly at him. Maybe you won’t have to do this alone after all.
———————————————————————
The first day goes by smoothly. You had a bit of a learning curve with changing the diaper but you managed after help from Yayorozu. Who knew she’d be so good at something like that?
You had just settled down into bed after putting Riki to “sleep” and were scrolling on your phone. It was about 10pm, most people were still awake but you knew the person you wanted to talk to most more than likely wasn’t. He went to bed at 8:30pm every night, even on weekends.
You stared at your screen open on Bakugou’s blank private messages page. UA made an app for the students to contact each other and teachers with. It worked like a regular texting app, every class had their own group chat and you could private message each other, even students from other classes. All of them were accessible to staff if needed though.
You didn’t know if you should even bother asking him if he’s still going to take Riki tomorrow. Plus you didn’t want to wake him up. You were about to turn your phone off when you got a message from Mina. You open up her message and see a picture of Kirishima with his hair down, asleep on one of the couches in the common room with their baby on his chest. You laughed quietly to yourself and responded with a cute reaction meme. You thought they would make an interesting pair for this project.
You turned off your phone and plugged it in to charge and set it on your bedside table. You got comfortable in bed and closed your eyes. It would take you a while to fall asleep so you started to let your mind wander. You realized that tomorrow Bakugou will miss out on training if he takes the baby. He already told you earlier today in class not to worry about it and to focus on your own training…but you genuinely couldn’t think on how training would benefit you.
Your quirk has always been more of a supporting quirk rather than one that could do well in a fight one on one. Your quirk is called Cheer, by speaking words of encouragement to someone, you can make your target stronger both physically and emotionally. The reverse also works, if you berate someone it makes them weaker. You can use it on more than one person but its effects get weaker the more people you use it in at once. There’s also a major weakness to your quirk. Anytime you berate someone, you gain confidence, but when you encourage someone, it takes away your confidence. Because of this you feel inferior to everyone else in your class. Even Mineta has a more useful quirk in combat than you do. You’re basically forced to sit on the sidelines and watch people fight. It helps in rescue operations but you still wished you could fight like everyone else. You only managed to get into the hero course because you racked up enough rescue points and got lucky with a three pointer.
It’s ironic that someone with an inferiority complex got paired up with someone with a superiority complex. It’s even more ironic that you managed to gain a crush on the bastard too.
———————————————————————
It was now Tuesday morning and Bakugou was sat in his room staring at the doll in its car seat.
You had entered the common room already dressed in your uniform with Riki in the seat. Hero training was the first class that morning so anyone who was in charge of their baby that day stayed behind and would join everyone later for normal classes. Your tie wasn’t done yet and your skirt was pulled up a little too high, showing off more thigh than you usually do, as you were in a rush since Riki wouldn’t stop crying and you couldn’t figure out why. She had finally managed to settle down when you gave her the included pacifier.
You weren’t much of a breakfast eater, especially if you were training in the morning so you didn’t go to the kitchen. You noticed Bakugou sat on one of the couches drinking something out of a mug. He was wearing a simple black tank top and sweatpants.
“Oh Bakugou! There you are. I’m guessing since you’re not in uniform you’re still taking Riki today.” You sat the car seat on the floor near him and started doing your tie. You knew you were just going to have to take it off soon to change into your hero costume but you still wanted to show up looking like you at least tried. “So I figured out that she makes different noises depending on what she wants. Most of the time she just wants to be held or given a pacifier so she makes really whiny sounds that almost sound like a cry. She was just crying now and the only thing that made her stop was the pacifier so she might start up again soon. I made a smaller bag of her things like diapers and her bottle just so you’re not carrying a big ass duffel bag later.” You were almost rivalling Midoriya with how fast you were muttering, you didn’t mean to but you didn’t want to be late and you kept fumbling with your tie.
As you were smoothing out your front, you felt a pair of hands grab the bottom of your skirt and start to pull down. You shrieked and smacked the hands away and turned around to see (to the best of your ability) Hagakure behind you.
“Oh my god, Hagakure! I had no idea who was behind me! You scared me thinking it was Mineta pulling at my skirt.” You laughed and grabbed onto the girls arms.
“Ahhh I’m sorry! I just noticed your skirt was up a lot higher than normal and you almost showed off a bit too much.” The invisible girl explained as you fixed your skirt. “Come on, we got to get to class!”
“Right, yeah, I’m coming.” You responded as Hagakure held your hand. You quickly turned to Bakugou again who once again had a faint blush dusting his cheeks. “You sure you’ll be okay? I know it’s only for an hour before I see you again so if you want to pawn her off to me next class then that’s fine.”
“Tch…how incompetent do you think I am? Of course I can take care of some stupid doll for an hour!” He barked back at you.
You felt Hagakure pulling you towards the front door. “Ok, well…see you later then!” You said as you finally took off with your friend, leaving Bakugou and a few others scattered around the common room.
“Heyyy, Bakugou! You get stuck on babysitting duty too?” Kaminari taunted, his baby settled in a carrier strapped to his chest.
Bakugou growled. “It’s not babysitting when it’s your own kid you idiot. And you look dumb with that thing on.” He stood up and grabbed the handle of the car seat and went off to his room. He could hear Kaminari complaining as he left.
Now here he was, in his room having a staring match with a doll. He wasn’t sure what to do for an hour, let along with a baby. He glanced up at some math homework left on his desk and decided to finish it up so he was ahead of everyone else in class. Ten minutes past when his concentration was interrupted by whining. He looked over at the car seat that was faced away from him at this angle and sighed. He reached over and turned it around.
“Jesus. She didn’t mention how fucking annoying it would be.” He muttered to himself as he undid the straps and lifted the baby out. “What the hell is your problem, huh?” He asked, surprisingly not as loud as he normally would. He thought maybe she was hungry and remembered you said something about a small bag with her bottle in it. He looked around but couldn’t find it. In fact, he didn’t remember seeing any bag with the baby anyway. He grumbled as he picked up his phone and opened up the messaging app and sent you a private message.
In the locker rooms you heard your phone buzz and decided to look at it as you were changing. You saw a notification from Bakugou and quickly opened it.
Katsuki Bakugou: hey, dumbass. she’s crying but I can’t find that bag you were talking about
You winced as you remembered that you never actually grabbed the bag in your rush to get downstairs.
You: damn I must have forgotten it in my room, sorry. feel free to go and grab it. my room code is 6678 it should be on my desk. you know which floor I’m on right?
Bakugou scoffed.
Katsuki Bakugou: yes I know. I’m not stupid.
You: never said you were <3 have fun lol
You didn’t realize you sent the heart. It was muscle memory from texting with your friends, but it sent Bakugou for a loop.
After he had quickly made his way to the second floor and grabbed the bag you mentioned, he went back to his room where he had left the baby on his bed. Her whining had turned into crying by now.
“Alright, Alright! I got your damn stuff.” Bakugou sat on the floor and settled the doll into his arm. He removed the pacifier and held the bottle up to its mouth. He felt relieved when the crying stopped. “This is fucking ridiculous.” He thought out loud.
He rested his back on his bed and started to drift off in to thought. Why did you send that heart? Did you mean to do it? Was it a reflex? Were you making fun of him? No…that couldn’t be right. You were one of the few that took him seriously. Sure you teased him sometimes, but not as much as the others. He thought back to a time where he accidentally overheard something he probably shouldn’t have that still made his heart feel weird.
———————————————————————
Bakugou was making his way to the kitchen to get something to drink. He could hear you and the other girls of Class 1A giggling and talking about random shit.
He was going to ignore the group when something made him stop in his tracks right before he would be seen.
“Sooo, who do you like?” Mina asked with a teasing voice.
“Who, me?” You asked as Mina nodded. All eyes were on you and you felt yourself blush. “Well…I guess I kinda have a thing for Bakugou…” You answered shyly, playing with the hem of your shirt.
“What?!” “Wait, Bakugou?!” “Really?” The girls cried out in unison.
“Why is that so shocking? You guys seriously don’t think he’s at least a little bit attractive?” You inquired.
Bakugou stiffened at the confession and he felt his heartbeat speed up. You…had a crush on him? Someone actually was interested in him romantically?
“You don’t think all his yelling and name calling is a turn off?” Uraraka asked.
“Hm…not really. Sure he says some mean stuff but…he doesn’t actually mean it.” You reasoned.
“I don’t know…he always seems to be serious about it. I mean he doesn’t even know our names.” Jirou huffed.
“Yes he does!” You laughed. “He’s not stupid. He’s a lot smarter than I think any of you give him credit for.”
“He is in the top our class academic wise as well as hero wise.” Yayorozu chimes in.
“Exactly. Have none of you realized that a lot of his plans actually work? He may seem like he’s rushing into things but it’s obvious he’s put clear thought into his plans. And the fact that he can make one up that quickly is impressive. He’s also more compassionate than you’d think.” You said, leaning back on the couch.
“Well I think you’re wrong with that.” Tsu replied.
“Because you guys are only seeing the surface level. You’re not reading in between the lines. For example, remember when we just moved into the dorms, the talk Mr. Aizawa had with us outside?” They nodded. “When Mr. Aizawa left, you could feel the uncomfortable tension in the class at being reminded of what happened. Bakugou grabbed Kaminari and made him go all dumb because he knew it would make everyone laugh. And it did! The tension was gone instantly! Bakugou really does care, he just doesn’t know how to show it like other people. And remember the school festival? He totally could’ve refused to play the drums but he did it anyway! That’s what I like about him. He’s not a cold hearted asshole, he just wants you to think he is. I use to be like that too.” You trailed off, looking ashamed.
“Wait. YOU were an asshole?” Mina prodded.
You sighed and nodded. “Yeah, back when I first got my quirk. I realized that putting other people down gave me a lot of confidence. I went on a power trip and started bullying everyone. I started to realize that the “friends” that I did have were only my “friends” so they could escape my words. Made me feel like shit when I found out. Now I hate using my quirk like that unless absolutely necessary. But yeah….I see through Bakugou’s walls and I guess it just made me fall for him.” You changed the subject.
“Wow…you’re whipped for him, aren’t you?” Mina teased.
“Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just don’t tell him that. I don’t need him on my ass about it.” You blushed and waved her off.
“You sure you don’t want him on your ass?” Mina teased again.
“OH SHUT UP!” You threw a pillow at her as the girls laughed.
———————————————————————
Bakugou had zoned out at that memory. He hadn’t meant to eavesdrop, it’s your fault for being so damn loud and talking about him in the first place! It’s been a few weeks since that and it’s still fresh in his mind. Did he like you back? He wasn’t sure. On one hand he was pissed at how you managed to figure him out so easily, but on the other hand…he felt comforted knowing someone understood him and didn’t make fun of him for it. He will admit that you weren’t that bad looking or as stupid as everyone else. He did wish you would see the potential you had with your quirk, though. He could feel his cheeks start to heat up and he scoffed, snapping out of his thoughts and looking back down at the doll in his arms.
“I guess…she’s not so bad…” He said softly to Riki.
——————————————————————
Training had finished and you and the rest of your classmates were on your way to your next class.
Upon entering the classroom you noticed everyone that had skipped out on training standing around, babies either in their arms, strapped to their chest, or in the car seat. Bakugou was sat in his spot, chin in his hand looking out the window to his left.
You had a few minutes to spare before class started so you walked up to your partner. “Hey! How’d it go? Was she fussy?” You asked as you squatted down to see Riki, who was in her car seat on the floor next to his desk.
“Tch, no. I told you I know what I’m doing.” He grumbled.
“I’m pretty sure none of us know what we’re doing but it’s nice to know that you’re taking this seriously.” You replied standing back up.
“HA? YOU THINK I WOULD’NT? YOU THINK I’M NOT CAPABLE OF THIS?” He yelled as he let off small explosions.
“Course not. I did kinda think you would end up leaving most of this to me though. But it’s nice that you’re playing along.” You smiled sincerely.
Iida started ushering everyone to their assigned seats as class was about to begin. You patted Bakugou on his shoulder and left to your seat near the back of the class.
He clenched his fists and glared down at his desk, he could feel his heartbeat going wild again.
———————————————————————
A few days had passed and it was now Friday night and you were at your wits end.
It was your day with Riki and she had been crying non stop for thirty minutes now. You were pacing your room with her in your arms as the doll “sobbed” louder and louder with each agonizing minute. You had no idea what was wrong; you tried feeding her, changing her diaper, holding her, giving her a pacifier, you even tried the toys that they provided but nothing was working!
You were close to tears yourself as you thought about how this would affect your grade and how pissed Bakugou would be if you ruined it. The whole week went by just fine, it never took this long for her to settle down. You had gotten lucky with the baby you were given as she was so easy to care for, but this moment right now was proving difficult.
Feeling like you had no other choice, you left your room with your still wailing daughter in your arms and quickly made your way up to Bakugou’s room.
You knocked on his door while still trying to shush Riki. When Bakugou opened the door, he looked like he had just woken up which made you start ranting.
“Bakugou, fuck, I’m so sorry to bother you right now I know you like to go to bed early but she’s been crying like this for like thirty minutes now and I’ve tried everything but she just won’t stop crying and I don’t know what to do and I’m probably gonna make us fail cause I can’t get her to fucking stop and I just…” You panted “…can you please help me?” You nearly whined.
“Give her to me.” Bakugou reached out as you transferred her into his arms. He walked away with the crying doll, leaving his door open. You decided that was an invitation so you slipped into his room and gently closed the door behind you. You watched as Bakugou gently bounced the doll in his arms and started petting its blonde head.
You stared in awe as Riki started to finally quiet down until she was silent. You breathed out a sigh of relief but tears started to quickly gather in your eyes. Bakugou had opened his balcony door and stepped outside to the cool air. You ran a hand through your messy hair and followed them out onto the balcony. The not quite freezing but cold air nipping at your skin. It felt nice as you didn’t even notice that you were sweating from the stress. You bent over and rested your elbows on the railing and placed your head in your hands, trying to hold back your tears.
“She had been crying for so long…I tried everything but nothing worked. But the minute you have her she finally stops. What the hell am I doing wrong? Why am I such a bad mother?” You muttered more to yourself but your partner could hear you anyways.
A minute of silence went by as you tried to not let your tears fall when Bakugou finally spoke up, surprising gently. “Don’t beat yourself up over something you barely know how to handle.”
He leaned his back against the railing next to you. His arm barely grazing against your shoulder, his way of trying to comfort you. You sniffed and dropped your arms from your head and looked forward out into the dark courtyard.
“She’s been perfect this entire week. Nothing I couldn’t handle…but she just had to act like a total brat tonight.” You sighed.
“Hey.” Bakugou said sternly. “Don’t call our daughter a brat…that’s my line.”
You laughed at that, completely overlooking the fact that you called the doll “our daughter”. Bakugou softly smiled at your laugh, also not realizing exactly what he said. But her certainly felt his heart flutter as he looked down at the baby in his arms.
Bakugou decided he’d take her for the rest of the night so you could get some sleep. It was his turn tomorrow anyway.
———————————————————————
Monday had come by quickly, thus, ending the project. Recovery Girl had collected the dolls, and you couldn’t lie, you felt a little sad at the fact that you won’t have Riki around anymore. The class waited in anticipation to see whose grade was the lowest.
When the results came in, Midnight stood at the front of the class once again and started to call out the grades.
“Coming in last place is Sero and Mineta with a sixty-five.” Mineta started screaming about how unfair it was and that they got a faulty doll. “Todoroki and Ojiro have a score of thirty-four, Kaminari and Jirou have a thirty, Iida and Aoyama a twenty-seven, Usagi and Tokoyami with twenty-five, Shouji and Asui with twenty-one, Hagakure and Yayorozu with twenty, Mina and Kirishima with an eighteen, Satou and Kouda with a fifteen, Bakugou and (Y/N) with a score of eight, and lastly, coming in first place with the best score is Midoriya and Uraraka with a three! Good work everyone. I hope you all learned some valuable lessons from this experience!” Midnight finished.
There were high fives and cheers coming from the people with the lower scores and talks of what they could’ve done better from the people with higher marks.
You stared down at your desk smiling. Eight wasn’t so bad, right? Much better than what Mineta got.
At the front of the class, Bakugou has turned his head back to look at you and softly smiled to himself when he saw your relief. He turned back around to look down at his hands as he played with his pen. He could hear Midoriya and Uraraka being congratulated for the lowest score and for once in his life….he didn’t mind coming in second.

Bonus:
Twelve years later, Bakugou had established himself as the number two hero with his own agency. You worked along side him as his number one sidekick. You both grew a lot since high school and grew closer from the experience. You managed to get rid of your inferiority complex and become more comfortable with using your quirk against villains rather than standing by and cheering on the heroes. You can also hold your own in combat pretty well now and you have a slew of support items to help.
But instead of kicking ass on the street you were laid out on a hospital bed after the longest 7 hours of your life. You were sweaty and exhausted, but it was all worth it as you looked at the little bundle in your arms. A head of blonde hair was peaking out of the blanket.
“What should we name her?” You whispered to the person leaning over you with their hand on your head and looking lovingly down at the newborn.
“…..Riki.” Bakugou said softly.

Bakugou slowly moving you into his apartment
Tumblr media
𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Katsuki Bakugou x fem!black reader
𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: a curse word I believe that’s it
Tumblr media
❒ Bakugou who doesn’t really want to admit it, but he’s been getting used to your presence on those days you come over to the point he wants you to stay the night
❒ Bakugou who was asking or coming up with excuses on why you shouldn’t leave “There’s a few more episodes til we finish the season” You might as well stay on the couch cuddled up with him only a few more episodes until you could leave, right?
❒ It was all a plan leading to the “It’s late you should stay over tonight” He says it like he didn’t have you stay at his place until it was pitch black. How could you argue it was normal to not want your girlfriend out late there were a bunch of dangerous things that lurked the night, even if you’re also a pro hero who could defend yourself fine until you get home
❒ Bakugou who heard you talk about how multiple mornings and nights he is ruining your routine so he gets stuff you need
❒ It started small with him buying another toothbrush paired with a cover on it, it stood next to his in the cup. If you ask about it he’ll only say “So? You’re over here so damn much complaining about not having a toothbrush.” He acts as if you’re the one inviting yourself over
❒ “Maybe I’ll come over less.. y’know actually sleep in my apartment” You see his gaze flicker for a second before he grunts out “Well that’s not needed anymore” he moves onto a different topic ignoring the teasing smile on your face
❒ Bakugou kept slowly trying to move you in never mentioning it to you. He’d rather not deal with you being smug. That wasn’t gonna help though.
❒ Next time you come over to Bakugou's apartment you smell the scent of your favorite candle that said man had previously complained about when he was at your place “I thought you hated this scent” he looks at you as if he doesn’t know what you’re talking about “What scent?” You point to the recently burned-out candle “It grew on me” he rolls his eyes seeing you smile about it, but you can see the slight pull of one on his face
❒ You were both coming from a party a class 1a reunion if you will though there seems to be plenty of those as the students all got close over the years. Bakugou was the one who picked you up and was gonna drop you off home though he had different plans.
❒ You were busy about to post pictures of Mina and you along with the rest of the girls when you finally look up onto the road “Isn’t this the way to your apartment?” You glance at him as he continues “ ’m too tired to notice… you wanna just sleepover?”
❒ Maybe he really was tired and used to all the times of you staying over it was becoming an instinct. You were able to see the weary expression on his face and you didn’t wanna make him turn back around to drop you home so you’ll stay over…again
❒ Used to all the nights over here you go into one of his drawers planning on wearing something of his own but you notice everything in it is different it’s not a lot, but there were now a few clothes in your size and there were three bonnets in different colors and patterns
❒ “Katsuki are you changing your style?” He goes into his room raising an eyebrow at your question “You know I didn’t really take you for the bonnet kinda guy, especially one of this color but you do.” You picked up a patterned one a smug look on your face
❒ He huffs electing to ignore your comment too tired to be bothered he mutters “It’s for you” before he goes back into the bathroom letting you change in his room
❒ You get done changing and head to the bathroom knocking on the door before being allowed in you brush your teeth alongside him as you both finish up he nods to something on the counter you didn’t notice it was your favorite cleanser
❒ You both continue with your routines before heading to bed he seems to have a small smile on his face maybe because you aren’t complaining or seeing you look even slightly happier from his actions improved his mood
❒ The weeks continue you stay a little longer in the morning and you’re not as reluctant on staying the night. Bakugou gets more things for you, anything to make you more comfortable so maybe you could stay longer than last time
❒ Your favorite snacks were in his pantry, a duplicate of your lotion next to his so you no longer use up your travel-sized bottle from your purse, but what you weren’t expecting is the new silk pillowcases
❒ Bakugou may have overheard Mina talking about her new pillowcases and how they’re so amazing, as he listened it sounded like it could benefit you so he looked into it
❒ Sure he could’ve just given them to you for your own bedroom, but he used them in his even though the purpose of them being here is for you
❒ “I can’t tell if you’re getting bougie or if you genuinely wanted silk pillowcases..” you joked looking at the man as he climbed into his bed with you “They’re good for your hair and shit” “Good for my hair… you got silk pillowcases because of me?” He doesn’t look at you as he answers “There are other benefits it’s not just cause of you...”
❒ There goes a smug expression returning back to your face “Careful I might just stay here forever, Katsuki” You give him his goodnight kiss before laying down as he turns off the lights you hear him say “Maybe that’s what I want”
