Troubleshooting tips for the iPod provided the cover story for this issue (and there was a "how to" piece about how to remove serious scratches with Brasso brass polisher before applying Scotchguard film), but the bar at the top of the cover about Apple's new "Boot Camp" option for letting your new Intel-powered Mac also run Windows (introduced just after hackers had worked out how to do that) marked a fair-sized part of the magazine as well. Rik Myslewski's editorial did acknowledge the anti-Windows defiance of MacAddicts past while mentioning the old predictions "the Mac would soon go the way of the Amiga, the Trash-80, and the Osborne Executive." There was also a comment this might only be the prelude to Apple releasing Mac OS X for PCs, given the delays to Windows Vista.

I have so many thoughts about how, in a world where so many in-game companions are barely tolerated or even outright hated, kim kitsuragi is universally beloved. How much it speaks to us that in our worse moments, we all hope to deserve the begrudging kindness he provides. He will not coddle you. He will tell you to get your shit together. But he will support you when you sing karaoke, off-key and mournful. He will play a board game with you in the middle of a murder investigation. He may dance with you inside a church. And in the end, when you leave this waking dream of an investigation to face the smoking wreckage of your life, he might go with you.

Broke: Link Click will end by having Lu Guang go back to ensure that they never meet. Cheng Xiaoshi will never have him as a friend, and possibly never make another one, but will live on safely and blissfully unaware of the devastating consequences of time travel. The photo studio never has a second business, and the boys live two completely separate lives. Lu Guang mourns his best friend and carries the burden of memory on his back.

Woke: Link Click will end with the loss of (at least) Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang's powers, but allows them & Qiao Ling to live a quaint little life running and photo studio together, without any time traveling nonsense. They all live happily ever after.

Since Lost is coming back to Netflix I need to speak my truth: Lost is not a confusing show, and the ending makes perfect sense.
