imagine being a shy little intern at jujutsu high and getting the fattest crush on gojo because he’s just. so strong and cool. you idolize him. you want to be his friend. and he seems to take a liking to you; he’s cheery and encouraging and sweet in a roundabout way. you feel like you’ve grown pretty close to him.
imagine him falling asleep right next to you on a sofa in the cafeteria. you can barely tell, with his blindfold still on. but you scurry away to find a blanket, happy that he trusts you enough to rest in your proximity, ready to wrap it around him —
only for it to slip right off. rejected by his infinity.
(he never turns it off, around you.)

Robin having the biggest crush on Nancy, especially after seeing her with the sawed off shotgun, and not making any moves even after she comes out to her as bi. Because Robin knows that Nancy broke Steve’s heart and his trust. It was her that had to rebuild it and show him that he wasn’t a disappointment to everyone, that some people would stick around without hurting him or putting him down.
Even when Nancy starts flirting with her and Steve tells Robin to make her move. Even when ignoring Nancy’s advances means she will be the only single one in the group, Robin holds strong. The bro code wasn’t just made for straight dudes after all.
Robin would much rather third-wheel Steve and Eddie on all of their dates. Watch them get all ooey-gooey and mushy with each other until it makes her want to puke. She’d find the girl of her dreams eventually and it wouldn’t be a girl that hurt her other half. It wouldn’t be Vickie or Nancy but someone that would love Steve as much as she does. Until then, she would deal with the excess testosterone and boy smell just as long as she could see Steve and Eddie happy together. (And having her third-wheel with them kept them having fun and enjoying themselves too).

dunno if this has been done yet but: airplane didn’t first become aware of peerless cucumber in the comments of pidw, he first saw peerless in the comments of a different web novel (that perhaps was one of airplane’s earlier works?) and so when initially drafting pidw he was inspired to write a villain just like cucumber bc “he’s MEAN MEAN for no reason, a literature snob, and pretends to be all high and mighty while looking down on others. also likes to kick down the little guy” and boom. sqq was born. cut to years later post-transmigration when sqh just casually drops this info with “lol i always did find it funny how much you hated the guy considering he’s literally based off you”

“jaime did it mostly for self preservation” “he did it bc he was ordered to kill his father” are not only blatantly incorrect and borderline illiterate reads of what is in the text but idk why people find it unfathomable that someone like jaime would want to prevent thousands of people from violently burning alive. like it is not actually a difficult moral equation which is why it is at the center of jaime’s arc and his relationship to his society because he realizes that the ethical constructs of westeros seem to be in opposition to this very obvious moral choice as seen by how the situation could even escalate to the point that it does through the enablement of the tyrant by the respected institution of the kingsguard and the uncritical upholding of the honor system over an actual coherent moral code. same with the scorn he receives for killing what everybody acknowledges as an objectively horrid tyrant who harmed innocents and violated law that knights are also sworn to protect and uphold and actually contradict by not acting against.
