I've grown tired of the same old conversations, so I don't pay them much attention anymore. I have better things to do. To believe that lesbians have never engaged in consensual sexual activity with a man under any circumstances is considered “violence” in that community, even though it’s the truth. People hate the truth which is why so many are unwilling to accept it. Women who have never been with a man will be met with criticism, resentment, and jealousy from all acrosss the board, regardless of what sexual, political, social, or religious label people decide to tack on themselves or what their relation is to you.

I realized that I was different in my teens when I’d be in a perpetual state confusion thinking something was wrong with me because “lesbians” were (and still are) forever online lamenting about comphet and lesbian masterdoc. These discussions always involved loud declarations about trying to repress their attraction to men and how hard it is to resist them, reminiscing about past romantic relationships with men, crushes on male celebrities or cartoons, and sexual experiences with men, none of which I could relate to. Now, there's the notion that it's common for gay men and lesbians to have sexual encounters with each other or that lesbians watch gay male porn etc. On top of that, there's a push to accept, date, and screw males who claim to be lesbians. If you don’t, you’re an evil transphobic terf. It’s just gotten way out of hand to the point where I don’t even bother with these people anymore. As I've gotten older, I've come to realize that genuine female homosexuality is uncommon, and that's perfectly fine. Goldstar lesbians are an extremely small minority. If women want to “identify” as lesbians during or after screwing dudes and sucking dick, I don’t care. They’re a joke to me.

I feel blessed to have some wonderful lesbians in my life, but personally, I don't actively seek out a 'lesbian community,' nor do I feel an any sense of camaraderie with them. Most women who refer to themselves as lesbians aren't actually homosexual. I've attempted to engage in "lesbian spaces," only to find them still revolving around men. Whether it's conversations about hating men (unless they conform to certain feminine stereotypes and identify as lesbians) or or their past times having sex with men, male centric topics dominate all of the conversation/discourse. Males still have their energy and attention in a way that’s obnoxiously obsessive. For me, being a lesbian isn't about hating males, it's about accepting how I was created by God. At this point, "lesbian spaces" = echo chambers where women validate each other's decisions to engage in screwing males while still claiming a to be a lesbian. Lmao right….

The funny thing is that these women are the main ones who scream about how the world is so homophobic, yet they're the first to attack an actual lesbian who has a viewpoint that doesn’t mirror their own. They immediately resort to verbal attacks, fabricated scenarios, accuse you of arrogance, and use insults like ugly or privileged simply for asserting the fact that lesbians don't engage in sexual activities with men, have crushes on men, consume gay male erotica or male pornography, being a lesbian is not a “choice” you make, males can’t be lesbians, feminism is a lie, etc. In my experience, women who are truly homosexual are just indifferent towards males. We don't harbor hatred towards them, sleep with them, obsess over them, or constantly make them the center of our conversations (feminism).

The way the term “goldstar” literally sends these people into a Pavlovian fit of rage is actually comical at this point. Males are just so irresistible in their eyes, they can’t fathom a woman that hasn’t at least tried them out once. If you haven’t, it’s just because you’re ugly lol. Their immediate reaction is always to start projecting their insecurity and self hatred onto females who are genuinely homosexual. It’s so obvious that the hatred/agitation is inspired and fueled by envy, despite the continuous denials. And if you haven’t experienced trauma that ‘made you turn lesbian,’ you don’t constantly talk about giving head, you’re beautiful, you don’t have mommy/daddy issues, and/or you have a decent personality in conjunction with being homosexual, they will really resent you because it destroys their narrative of lesbians being bitter, traumatized, feminist, unattractive, man-hating, motherless bitches lol. In theory, I used to believe it, but then I met a ton of gold stars. We come from a variety of backgrounds, yet still share a common experience. Speaking for myself, I don't come from a wealthy, non-religious background. I grew up under the same religious pressure many 'ngs lesbians' experience. The difference between them and myself is that I'm an actual lesbian.

True to her rotten soul, she was summoned to the plot in vp by discourse and disorder in the family. She comes around during a point when Michelle is starting to get sudden positive public attention as goldstar, and since boosters been mostly out of public eye since starting to be the silent protector of the time stream, she’s treated as something of a big new breakout sensation (they’re bored as fuck in metropolis)

Michelle is dealing with some inner turmoil and fighting with booster which she’s been keeping under wraps cuz she’s gods strongest soldier but she sees the attention on goldstar as a way to break away from it all and gain some independence and also as a sort of petty bite back at her brother who is being very annoying at the moment warning her about the dangers of stardom. As if he’s so smart. DIE. She starts spending more time as goldstar the superhero and less as goldstar the time master and is fighting a lot with booster, so she starts looking for her own place and wants to start at university and do all these things for herself (we’re so proud of her. I mean I am. FUCK BOOSTER GOLD) and CUE….. CASEY WILKES

Michelle is enrolled in uni, but she’s still living in the time lab and her brother is driving her fckn crazy every time she’s home. And she’s having trouble adjusting to sxhool life (I imagined she didn’t attend college like booster did, and just kept working out of highschool all the way up till she was dragged into the past) And as if drawn magnetically towards someone else who wants to kill MJ Carter, she and Casey have a chance encounter at a cafe near school and they chat a little. Casey tells Michelle she goes to the university near here too. That’s crazy. We have so much in common! Eventually while talking it turns to venting cuz Michelle was looking a little miserable before they started talking and she accidentally lets boosters name slip in convo. And Casey’s like 🙂 oh thats 🙂 that’s an interesting name. And btw you look. A little familiar? [MR KRAAAAABS I HAVE AN IDEAAAAAA] so from then Casey latches onto her like a leech and eventually gets the confirmation this was destiny and I can’t believe this is BOOSTER GOLDS (I THOUGHT SHE WAS DEAD) TWIN SISTER. AND SHES MAD AT HIM? THIS IS PERFECT

And then.. well that’s more middle of the story stuff. And this was asking about her introduction! (Her relationship with Michelle is interesting to me because aside from the friendship betrayal stuff it’s a rare case of her being weirdly friendly- at least by her standards)

7. What attribute of them (some facet of their personality, their history, their look, or whatever etc) would you find most important to somehow preserve if they were transplanted to an AU fanfic?

This is something Marty and I entertain ourselves with a lot actually wondering what fandom perception of Casey and nell would be… in a series bible id include things like… she’s genuinely not insecure. Like at all. Her attitude isn’t masking a tortured soul inside she’s just like that, she’s selfish and thoughtless and delusional. Her childhood was objectively difficult but she really has no complaints about the way she was raised or with her mother. She has her problems sure but they’re in other areas.. you’re looking in the wrong place! She also doesn’t really get .. sad? Often or at all? She’s more likely to feel anger than sadness. And also o feel it’s important to realize how monumentally difficult it is to form a relationship with her IF THATS SOMETHING YOU WANTED FOR SOME REASON. Literallt every relationship she has has been based on her thinking she could manipulate the other for something and then it either morphed into Ok I don’t hate seeing you even without anything to gain or morphed into attempted homicide. Pirate AU Masterpost (AU name pending)

since im a person who like to make aus that does not fit with the canon at all, im gonna go all batshit with this one lets go. i havent made proper aus in a long time hhhh

my english went scrawny all over in some places so im sorry for that :'D this post is also extremely messy so buckle up yall

They're gonna be humans in this AU, because I have no idea how to incorporate planes in a setting like this. (also i think it may or may not fit since 'advanced tech'...does not really exist. it isn't set during old times though, it doesn't have a clear time period because it isn't set in our earth.)

The characters don't have clear designs, but FYI, I'm personally going to use my own gijinka designs for visuals like 'screenshot redraws' in this.

This world is filled with islands, but without a clear bridge between them. So the only and the safest way of transportation is with, well, ships. This includes supplies too.

Pist, one of the small islands, took charge of transferring supplies to the other islands due to its location, under the name of "World Delivery". "WD" in short. (the reason for that is the amount of way to the other islands are pretty much same. Although visitors are not really common in the island, even if it's in the center of the whole ocean. It's not a touristic place. People prefer going to Gire, or Dimdi.)

Jimbo-Sky-Storm are 3 of the residents in Pist, and they are in the charge of this delivering organization. Jimbo is the head of it, Sky and Storm are second-hands.

A client sends a letter to WD about what they want, and boom. If there are smaller orders, they'll be sent by small ships. If the order clashes with a supply delivery, it'll be sent with a big delivery ship. Still fast. (residents of pist usually go to there themselves to order. its close)

There is a factory in Pist to produce the supplies (although rumors say the trio uses an extra deal to make their delivery items because there are almost no workers in the factory...)

Storm manages the factory, Sky is in the charge of managing the delivery ships.

There are many ships that work directly for World Delivery HQ (most of them being Pist residents), but there are freelancer ships that come to help them from time to time.

(I divided them in a quite strange way honestly, because I didn't want to seperate the s1 quartet or some 'squads' sorry xP Also FYI: there are many ships. So they don't only consist SW characters. Think of them as...extras? yeah that. i wanna make them go on a long trip once and i dont wanna put wd out of business)

The main ships in the AU (not all of them work in Pist but when they pass by they do work for them sometimes. i was gonna put them all under the same workplace but then scrapped that)

Speedy (they're still working on the name. the other three teases the hell out of jett because of this): Consists of only Jett, Dizzy, Donnie, Jerome. Smallest ship with a crew of only 4 people. They reside in Pist, and they're the only ship out of all the SW ships that is actively working for WD.

(well, except for the time they all suddenly disappeared one day on a journey. Turns out they sneaked out.)

Neptune: Mira, Bello, Swampy, Wily, Sparky, Neo. They never stay on islands, instead they live in their ship. It's bigger than Jett's, so it has extra rooms for other things like a greenroom. Speaking of, the crew has a reputation of making herbs and medicines due to their master use of plants (thanks to the captain and her first mate.) They pass Pist by all the time, and help them deliver things, mainly medicine.

Goldstar: Paul, Kim, Badge, and numerous other officers. They're a security ship, and Blackbird is number 1 on their hit list. They're usually sent by Miz, to catch thieves and sometimes to hunt monsters. (But the crew of Goldstar has no idea about what Miz is doing after they hand over the criminals or the monsters, because they're constantly on missions.)

Although their beef with Blackbird's captain is a personal case, not Miz's (mostly for Paul).

Loyalty: Grand Albert's restored historical ship. He travels between islands, along with his students (the top student being Narae) He used to be a famous adventurer that fought thieves who stole artifacts and returned them to their homeland, but now he retired and in prefarence of a slow, peaceful life. He's now sailing a ship-library and is open to visitors. Somehow pirates don't get too close to him.

He also has a granddaughter named Ellie (who is also his student) but she left due to her wish to sail to adventure with her own friends.

Galacti: The most mysterious ship possible. Nothing much is known about them, except for one thing: They're seen during the night. Their morals and goals are also unknown. They're also known as the ones who only know the safe ways to the North. And they home several magical artifacts: ancient spell books, weapons, mystic plants, etc. All of them are wanted by Miz, especially the captain.

Blackbird: The most notorious ship, with the crew of ruthless thieves. They love to mess with the other ships, they ambush the delivery ships while on their way, steal their goods, and scatter the 'useless' ones to the ocean for ships to crash on and sink.

Rumor say the captain Phantom used to navigate a security ship, and people wonder what led him down this path.

No one knows which islands are the crew is from, but they know for a fact that they can sail to the waters in South effortlessly. (The waters in South are also violent, so majority of security ships sunk in hopes of investigate the island.)

Tech is a bit weird in this AU. It does not exist, but it does at the same time. Phones, internet, or holograms, those stuff doesn't exist, for example.

There's a thing. It's not a common thing, it's a rumor in some islands, it's forbidden to use or even speak of it in some islands–

It's magic. Yep.

Big islands like Miz forbid anyone to ever talk about. Ironically, the most powerful professional magic user is from Miz.

Small islands like Pist though, it's mostly a rumor in there.

Anyway, the magic in this AU mostly relies on spells. Only some certain people can do it. For example, rumor say the mysterious ship Galacti can use magic effortlessly (especially the captain). But the island of Miz, the island the captain is from, can't catch them because the ship is literally invisible.

There's also another type of magic. It's not like a 'wizard-y' type, or done with spells. It affects the physical appearence, like 'monsters'.

Sea creatures are the only known 'monsters' at the moment but there are some research for other possible 'monsters' alive.

There are 3 different sea 'monsters' rn:

The 1st type: Your good ol' cliche sea creatures. They live underwater all the time, cannot go up to surface. Some of them look like a giant squid but some of them have humanoid appearence (like sirens). They're the most common.

The 2nd is: Luca-style. They appear as humans when dry. One of the main ship captains is this. No wonder she rescues people so swiftly from the water? Also the new lackey in Blackbird too, but with the addition of a siren voice.

The third type is a curse that turns the person into a fish, then a bubble. They start to appear as scales under eyes, then ears start to look like fins. At the end of two days they will turn into a full fish, then foam (curse you little mermaid /j). It has a solution though, but it can only be found in the north side of the ocean. Sadly, most people who got cursed end up meeting their demise because the North is even harder to reach than South. The ones who do would still have some side effects like: constant need for hydration and the transformation into a mer-person when dove into water.

(this is completely inspired by that one episode where jett and jerome turn into mer...planes???)

Thank you!!!! I am glad it was clear to some people at least haha. I do think it's my fault, I should have said it better and used different words, I shouldn't have been that aggressive... I didn't phrase it well at all. So I understand their reactions, though of course I don’t like the drama it's created.

Also, I am not used to the goldstar discourse. I haven't been on tumblr for so long (2 years, and one in the fandom side of tumblr where we do not talk about such things) and before that my only use of the internet was Wattpad lol. I didn't realize that it's very common to see people making long posts to hate on goldstar lesbians here, and that given that fact, my post would of course sound even more annoying. I'm just realizing it now.

So the Collector minus gangs formation is probably alot different from the mortals and they have different backstories

So Minus Greenstar doesn't have PTSD (same with Cyanstar) and Royal Bluestar never broke up with him

While Lime and Ceruleanstar both met Minus Redstar and found her cute

Royal Bluestar also found her cute but was conflicted and confused since he never broke up with Minus Greenstar

Eventually Royal Bluestar admitted to it but suprisingly Minus Greenstar was chill

Eventually they all realized that they found Cyanstar cute and they become platonic partners with them

Then the Collector minus boyfriends meet Goldstar similarly to their mortal counterparts but oddly enough they were alot more chill with it and gradually brought him in the group

So eventually they formed in a lot more wholesome way (which may or may not make the mortal minus gang jealous)

Also unlike the mortal versions this way BEFORE they met the other versions of them (Neo,B3,Soft and OG Collector versions) but they still hit it off really well

Also speaking of them their roughly the same personality as their mortal versions but some differences

Limestars trauma is his trauma with his mutation (which essentially gave him a feminine body but no chest or couldn't reproduce which really gave him trauma. But has a healthy relationship with his parents (since I personally headcanon non binary or trans being common in Collector's)

Cyanstar is still pretty sensitive but like Limestar their parents are good parents

Minus Greenstar doesn't have PTSD but is still pretty aggressive

Minus Redstar is probably the "leader" of the group (due to being partially stronger) but is still a caring person

Ceruleanstar is still sensitive and Royal Bluestar is still grumpy and still usually says ayo as a greeting but if I'm being honest Royal Bluestar is oddly alot more patient then Mean (also the three minus Collector boyfriends aren't really rappers but still enjoy rap music and occasionally sing)

Goldstar is probably the exact same as his mortal counterpart (besides skateboarding but still enjoys watching it)

So overall their probably the minus gang but are God's and don't have any real PTSD (though their are all pretty sensitive and a bit autistic/neurodivergent besides Goldstar)

And if I'm being honest I kinda headcanon Gold as pansexual

Yellow star grass (Hypoxis hirsuta), also called common goldstar, is a tiny jewel of a wildflower, often found growing in the cracks and crevices of rocky habitats along streams and rivers. The yellow, star-like flowers of this herbaceous perennial grow on delicate stems that emerge from a rosette of slender, elongated basal leaves. Although small in stature compared to other spring wildflowers, yellow star grass forms loose colonies teeming with flowers and adds a nice pop of color to the rocky or sandy embankments of streams and rivers.
