I have one question. Just how tall are Catnap and Dogsay? If that’s smth even figured out. Are they their canon height? Because I remember in one of you earlier posts about then you said the monster side of town has bigger doorways and stuff to accommodate.

the fellas are a pretty average size for most beastfolk type monsters. course, they're nowhere near the tallest monsters out there, but even being quote unquote average sized still means they're bigger and taller than most humans.

I would like to make more personal art, not necessarily “vent” art but art that serves as self exploration, which yeah could at times fall into vent art depending on what is being explored. Only thing though is that when making art along the lines of that people tend to get worried over nothing (like unnecessarily going ARE YOU OK??!! a million times for drawing something that isn’t happy) or it gets grossly misinterpreted and/or looked over. Like obviously don’t go search these people out I don’t care much really but if people remember that Love to the point of obsession to the point of destruction piece I made a while back that was one of the few times the art I posted on here was more personal and I had people leaving tags like

I know these comments were made in good faith but the piece was me exploring my personal experience with the damage relentless appeasement does when you’re trying to please someone who doesn’t love you, just the idea of you that they have in your head. I don’t think it’s appropriate to character tag that or say you love that way when it is a piece that represents the damage that love does. Idk it’s just strange to me. But also it’s very rewarding when someone DOES understand what you’re going for in a piece and connects with you that way

Seeing USAmericans writing British characters speaking in US terms pisses me off.

Tfw you're so imperialist you don't even have to learn about any other colonizers.
