Sometimes, I'm a musician - when I'm not a mechanical engineering student, or a fanfiction writer, or a fanboy, or simply a person. And one of these times, I go around, attending little workshop, something different from the classic "Oh, you're a cellist? you play classical boring music" well, yeah, classical music is how I learnt to play, by the way. But sometimes, I experiment new kind of music, like improvisation. And modern improvisation, let me say it, it's another whole world, different from the standard music.
The last workshop I've done, we were in a little wood, more precisely in a lawn in it, somewhere in the mountains - imagine a classic mountain house (not a cabin), and near, the starting of a wood. The name of the workshop was "Allegro con bosco", wich means: allegro is a type of tempo in music - joyful, but not fast (that's presto); con bosco means "with the woods", in italian. And it fitted, because we had to play what we had around: grass, rocks, trees, and little percussion instruments - we ever had whistles that imitated the call of birds. I know I can sound like some kind of mad man, but after a day spent there, and understanding what can be created - we where a ground of eleven, so we sorta had a director, because we were mostly inexperienced on the topic - I can say that that type of improvisation can be really beatiful.
Anyway, all of this only for saying that, I was listening at some Oh Hellos music, and "Dry Branches", how it starts from random noises and notes and then flows al toghether forming a melody, it reminded me of that experience.

hey oz i saw ur friendly reminder from the monster streamer post.. i'm real sorry that happened to you. hope you're doing okay. you're my favorite blog btw so pls know that there are folks like me who love and appreciate you !!
Thank you for the kind words anon, and don’t worry, I wouldn’t say I’m too devastated.
I initially just wanted to laugh it off, because I’m an easygoing person and I don’t like causing drama. But then I thought, “you know what? It’s ok to be upset about it”.
It was someone who followed me, and a fellow writer (!) on top of everything. They rewrote my post less than a week after I posted it myself. Replicated it in great detail, yet somehow, only the author escaped their memory. Which is plausible. Except within the same day, someone left them a link to my post. They acknowledged it, then continued to leave their post unaltered as “unknown originator”. In my mind, the polite thing to do would’ve been to at least mention “hey, in the meantime I found the source from which I copy-pasted and thought of continuing without permission”. Alas. Perhaps my Internet etiquette is outdated.
This was an exceptional case, and it does not reflect the people on this blog. I’ve removed the friendly warning, because it kind of ruins the humor I intended for the story. I just wanted to vent a little, I suppose, especially because it was not purely my work, but an idea given by one of my anons. So I felt like our open dialogue and idea exchange was somehow tampered with.
My apologies for the unexpected gossip.
#personal#I also find it to be such an insidious method of stealing content even if it's unintentional#because if you know you've seen an idea here already why would you rewrite it yourself instead of finding it and reblogging it?#if you liked it so much you'd share it with others#and I'm not lacking recognition by any means but I imagine this kind of conduct is probably used on smaller blogs too which is even worse

Honestly, it’s so frustrating taking any kind of autism/adhd/neurodivergent test/assessment/quiz. It’s especially frustrating since I’m taking a research methods class that talks about how to make surveys and questionnaires and so many of these assessments break basic rules on how to make good surveys.
For one, the way they set up the questions are either way too vague or way too specific or combine two different questions together that makes it hard to answer. For example, one autism assessment I took asked whether you think and talk a lot about your special interests. Thinking and talking are different things and the frequency of what I talk about completely depends on who I’m with but the only answers I could pick were “true now and when I was young, only true now, only true when I was young (16 and under), and never true”.
Which brings me to my next point. The way a lot of professional and certified surveys are set up usually have either a five point or seven point system (example: disagree, somewhat disagree, neither agree or disagree, somewhat agree, agree. Seven point systems would add definitely agree or disagree). For the survey mentioned, adding another option that doesn’t land in the extreme of either “always” or “never” allows for better and more realistic answers (like a “I exhibit this behavior sometimes under certain circumstances” or something).
Also these assessments sometimes add in why you exhibit these behaviors like “I spend a lot of time at home. This is because I hate people and don’t like going out”. I do spend a lot of time at home. It is not because I hate people or don’t like going out so it’s hard to answer that question.
Assessments for mental health or neurodivergence like this make it really hard for people to answer in a way that gives an honest assessment of their mental state and it’s really frustrating taking quizzes over and over again just to have the same issues come up again and again and I feel like I’m being robbed of an actual answer to my question.
Someone fix this before I take things into my own hands. This is a threat. I will do it.
#autism#adhd#neurodivergent#neurodivergence#autism assessment#adhd assessment#surveys#questionnaires#proper research conductment#like this is survey making 101#the first thing I learned about surveys and questionnaires in my research methods class#i am judging you#feel judged

My mom and I both enjoy watching interrogation tapes, but for completely different reasons. I only discovered this recently.
My mom, watching an interrogation: “wow. Criminals are so dumb, I’m glad cops are so much smarter and can always get them to confess. :)”
Me, watching them: “wow. That’s illegal. That’s unethical. That’s literally just torture. That should have gotten the whole case dropped. That cop just cited the ten commandments(???) incorrectly. Cops are so stupid, but aren’t at risk of consequences in this scenario, so don’t fear ruining lives.”
#like#some criminals are definitely dumb#but interrogations are almost never conducted properly#and the methods used are inhumane#should not be allowed to happen#even if the suspect is guilty#even if they’re a murderer

Pictured: Luis Cassiano is the founder of Teto Verde Favela, a nonprofit that teaches favela residents in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, how to build their own green roofs as a way to beat the heat. He's photographed at his house, which has a green roof.
Article
"Cassiano is the founder of Teto Verde Favela, a nonprofit that teaches favela residents how to build their own green roofs as a way to beat the heat without overloading electrical grids or spending money on fans and air conditioners. He came across the concept over a decade ago while researching how to make his own home bearable during a particularly scorching summer in Rio.
A method that's been around for thousands of years and that was perfected in Germany in the 1960s and 1970s, green roofs weren't uncommon in more affluent neighborhoods when Cassiano first heard about them. But in Rio's more than 1,000 low-income favelas, their high cost and heavy weight meant they weren't even considered a possibility.
That is, until Cassiano decided to team up with a civil engineer who was looking at green roofs as part of his doctoral thesis to figure out a way to make them both safe and affordable for favela residents. Over the next 10 years, his nonprofit was born and green roofs started popping up around the Parque Arará community, on everything from homes and day care centers, to bus stops and food trucks.
When Gomes da Silva heard the story of Teto Verde Favela, he decided then and there that he wanted his home to be the group's next project, not just to cool his own home, but to spread the word to his neighbors about how green roofs could benefit their community and others like it.

Pictured: Jessica Tapre repairs a green roof in a bus stop in Benfica, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Relief for a heat island
Like many low-income urban communities, Parque Arará is considered a heat island, an area without greenery that is more likely to suffer from extreme heat. A 2015 study from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro showed a 36-degree difference in land surface temperatures between the city's warmest neighborhoods and nearby vegetated areas. It also found that land surface temperatures in Rio's heat islands had increased by 3 degrees over the previous decade.
That kind of extreme heat can weigh heavily on human health, causing increased rates of dehydration and heat stroke; exacerbating chronic health conditions, like respiratory disorders; impacting brain function; and, ultimately, leading to death.
But with green roofs, less heat is absorbed than with other low-cost roofing materials common in favelas, such as asbestos tiles and corrugated steel sheets, which conduct extreme heat. The sustainable infrastructure also allows for evapotranspiration, a process in which plant roots absorb water and release it as vapor through their leaves, cooling the air in a similar way as sweating does for humans.
The plant-covered roofs can also dampen noise pollution, improve building energy efficiency, prevent flooding by reducing storm water runoff and ease anxiety.
"Just being able to see the greenery is good for mental health," says Marcelo Kozmhinsky, an agronomic engineer in Recife who specializes in sustainable landscaping. "Green roofs have so many positive effects on overall well-being and can be built to so many different specifications. There really are endless possibilities.""

Pictured: Summer heat has been known to melt water tanks during the summer in Rio, which runs from December to March. Pictured is the water tank at Luis Cassiano's house. He covered the tank with bidim, a lightweight material conducive for plantings that will keep things cool.
A lightweight solution
But the several layers required for traditional green roofs — each with its own purpose, like insulation or drainage — can make them quite heavy.
For favelas like Parque Arará, that can be a problem.
"When the elite build, they plan," says Cassiano. "They already consider putting green roofs on new buildings, and old buildings are built to code. But not in the favela. Everything here is low-cost and goes up any way it can."
Without the oversight of engineers or architects, and made with everything from wood scraps and daub, to bricks and cinder blocks, construction in favelas can't necessarily bear the weight of all the layers of a conventional green roof.
That's where the bidim comes in. Lightweight and conducive to plant growth — the roofs are hydroponic, so no soil is needed — it was the perfect material to make green roofs possible in Parque Arará. (Cassiano reiterates that safety comes first with any green roof he helps build. An engineer or architect is always consulted before Teto Verde Favela starts a project.)
And it was cheap. Because of the bidim and the vinyl sheets used as waterproof screening (as opposed to the traditional asphalt blanket), Cassiano's green roofs cost just 5 Brazilian reais, or $1, per square foot. A conventional green roof can cost as much as 53 Brazilian reais, or $11, for the same amount of space.
"It's about making something that has such important health and social benefits possible for everyone," says Ananda Stroke, an environmental engineering student at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro who volunteers with Teto Verde Favela. "Everyone deserves to have access to green roofs, especially people who live in heat islands. They're the ones who need them the most." ...
It hasn't been long since Cassiano and the volunteers helped put the green roof on his house, but he can already feel the difference. It's similar, says Gomes da Silva, to the green roof-covered moto-taxi stand where he sometimes waits for a ride.
"It used to be unbearable when it was really hot out," he says. "But now it's cool enough that I can relax. Now I can breathe again."

The Essentials of Job Analysis: A Comprehensive Overview
Job analysis is a critical process in human resource management that involves systematically studying a job to determine its duties, responsibilities, necessary skills, and the environment in which it is performed. This analysis provides essential insights that help organizations optimize their workforce, improve recruitment strategies, and enhance employee satisfaction. In this article, we will explore the significance of job analysis, various methods used to conduct it, and the benefits it offers to both employees and organizations.
The Importance of Job Analysis
Clarifying Roles and Responsibilities Job analysis plays a vital role in clearly defining the expectations and responsibilities associated with a particular position. By outlining what a job entails, organizations help employees understand their roles better. This clarity reduces confusion and ensures that everyone is aligned on expectations, leading to improved job performance and satisfaction.
Enhancing Recruitment and Selection A well-executed job analysis provides the foundation for creating accurate job descriptions and specifications. These documents are crucial for attracting qualified candidates during the recruitment process. By identifying the essential skills and qualifications required for a job, organizations can tailor their recruitment strategies to find the best fit for each role.
Supporting Performance Management Job analysis contributes to effective performance management by establishing clear performance criteria. When performance appraisals are based on well-defined job responsibilities, it becomes easier to assess employee contributions objectively. This structured approach allows for more targeted feedback and development discussions, promoting continuous improvement.
Informing Training and Development Understanding the specific skills and competencies required for each job enables organizations to design targeted training programs. By identifying gaps in knowledge or skills, employers can provide employees with the resources they need to grow and excel in their roles. This targeted development enhances employee capabilities and, in turn, boosts overall organizational performance.
Establishing Compensation Structures Job analysis is crucial for developing fair and equitable compensation systems. By evaluating the responsibilities and requirements of each position, organizations can ensure that salaries are aligned with job complexity and market standards. This transparency in compensation can help attract and retain top talent while reducing the risk of internal inequities.
Methods of Job Analysis
Organizations can employ various methods to conduct job analysis, each with its own advantages:
Interviews One-on-one or group interviews with employees and supervisors can provide rich qualitative data about job responsibilities and functions. This method allows for in-depth discussions that can uncover nuances in job duties that may not be captured through other methods.
Questionnaires and Surveys Standardized questionnaires can be an efficient way to gather information from a larger group of employees. These surveys often include a mix of closed and open-ended questions, enabling both quantitative and qualitative analysis of job tasks and skills.
Observation Directly observing employees as they perform their tasks offers firsthand insights into job functions and workflows. This method can be particularly effective for jobs involving specific physical tasks or interactions, providing a clear view of the work environment.
Job Diaries Asking employees to maintain a log of their daily activities can yield detailed information about job responsibilities, time management, and the skills utilized throughout the day. This method captures a more accurate representation of the job over time.
Focus Groups Conducting focus groups with employees allows for collaborative discussions about job roles. This approach encourages dialogue and can help identify common challenges and insights that may not emerge from individual interviews.
Benefits of Job Analysis
The advantages of conducting a thorough job analysis extend to both employees and organizations:
Increased Job Satisfaction When employees have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities, they tend to experience higher job satisfaction. Knowing what is expected fosters a sense of purpose and achievement.
Informed Decision-Making Accurate job analysis provides data-driven insights that support various HR decisions, from hiring to promotions and performance evaluations. Organizations can make better choices based on a thorough understanding of job requirements.
Enhanced Efficiency Clearly defined roles help reduce redundancy and improve team efficiency. When everyone understands their responsibilities, teams can collaborate more effectively, leading to increased productivity.
Effective Succession Planning Job analysis aids in identifying the skills and competencies needed for future leadership roles. This foresight allows organizations to develop talent internally, ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical positions.
Compliance and Risk Management A well-documented job analysis process can help organizations adhere to labor laws and regulations. By ensuring that job descriptions accurately reflect duties and qualifications, companies can mitigate legal risks associated with employment practices.
Conclusion
Job analysis is a foundational element of effective human resource management that influences various organizational functions. By systematically identifying job responsibilities and required competencies, organizations can enhance recruitment, performance management, training, and compensation strategies. As the workplace continues to evolve, maintaining a robust job analysis process is essential for ensuring that organizations are well-equipped to meet the changing demands of the workforce while maximizing employee engagement and productivity. Through thorough job analysis, organizations can create a work environment that fosters growth, clarity, and satisfaction for all employees.

Last week the London Police Department announced that they were going to be releasing a public survey. On Monday no one was able to find the survey so I made an inquiry with the media officer of the LPD. She directed me to an analyst who told me on Tuesday that they "cannot distribute the survey to individuals who express interest". When I asked for further explanation she insisted that they were using random sampling and thus taking feedback from interested parties would skew the results. She failed to account for the fact that they simply dont have the capacity to do a true random sample, consequently meaning their results will be skewed no matter what. Check out my video to learn more

it broke today that biden airdropped aid to gaza. other than the fact that this is an obvious pr move ahead of his re-election campaign, i think it's important to stress how ineffective this method is compared to just allowing humanitarian aid to come through. airdrops carry far less aid than truck convoys, for one, and require an airdrop zone with a lot of idealistic conditions that don't often coincide. this is a major reason why you hear a lot of airdrops being conducted at beaches--and why a lot of them have been blown to the sea. and what's even more dangerous about that is that a lot of these palestinians are malnourished, starving, in a delirious state of mind. many of them are so utterly hungry that they'd be willing to swim through just to get their hands on a sodden meal. but apparently this is the best thing the us, which literally funds israel's ongoing genocide, can do for palestinians at the moment.

SUCCESSOR -`♡´-
summary: He believes he’s going to die soon, and the idea of leaving the Kira case unfinished gnaws at him. The thought of his legacy fading away too soon is unbearable. He needs a successor. And soon.
warnings: A LOT of breeding, smut, unprocteted sex, overstimulation, multiple rounds, pwp, tummy buldge, mentions of cum, mating press, virgin!L, obssesed!L, mentions of forming a family, not proof read and sleepy while writing this. and more.
a/n: ik this is going to have as much support as my other works, but it's def one of my best and favs writings, so please show me your support with a comment and reblog! it means a lot for me!
You've been part of the task force for a while now, ever since L handpicked you for his elite team. As a regular member, you've earned your place and trust within the group. The necessity of keeping your identity hidden has diminished, thanks to the expanding team, but you still opt for an alias during meetings, maintaining a veil of secrecy around your true connection to L.
L’s mind is a labyrinth, each thought of a winding path leading to an unknown destination. His strategies are always a step ahead, his deductions razor-sharp. Yet, despite his brilliance, one specific thought has been haunting him lately:
He believes he’s going to die soon.
This isn't a paranoid delusion but a calculated assessment. L understands the immense dangers tied to the Kira case. The complexity of the situation has grown, and he suspects an external force at play, one that eludes even his grasp. This unknown entity has shifted the balance, making the case more perilous than ever.
L is determined not to let his legacy end prematurely. He has dedicated his life to solving the world’s most challenging mysteries, and the idea of leaving the Kira case unfinished gnaws at him. The thought of his legacy fading away too soon is unbearable.
He needs a successor.
And soon.
Finding someone who can match his intellect and tenacity is no simple task. The successor must be able to understand his intricate methods, to carry on his relentless pursuit of justice. The urgency of this mission weighs heavily on him, as he prepares to identify and groom the next guardian of his legacy.
You were the perfect match for him, and his calculations confirmed it. There was an 86% probability that having a child with you would result in someone with a higher IQ than his own, combined with the social skills he lacked. In the realm of interpersonal relationships, L was inexperienced, never having had a relationship or intimacy before. Recently, he had been contemplating how to propose this idea to you.
Should he ask you outright? Should he try to make you fall in love with him first? No, this wasn't about love. It was a precaution, a step in his investigation, a way to ensure his legacy continued if the worst were to happen.
The atmosphere in the headquarters was tense as always, the dim lighting casting long shadows across the room. You sat at your desk, engrossed in your work, when L’s quiet footsteps approached. His presence was magnetic, his aura of mystery and intellect always palpable. He paused beside you, his gaze fixed on the monitors displaying the latest updates on the Kira case.
“Can we talk?” His voice was soft, almost hesitant, a rare departure from his usual confident demeanor.
You looked up, surprised by the uncharacteristic uncertainty in his tone. “Of course, L. What’s on your mind?”
He shifted, glancing around the room as if searching for the right words. “There’s something I need to discuss with you. It’s… personal.”
Your curiosity piqued, you nodded, giving him your full attention. “I’m listening.”
He took a deep breath, his eyes meeting yours. “You’re aware of the importance of my work, of the dangers we face daily. The Kira case has made me realize that I must consider contingencies I hadn’t thought of before.”
You nodded, waiting for him to continue.
“There’s a… statistical analysis I’ve conducted,” he said, his voice becoming more clinical as he explained. “It suggests that if I were to have a child with someone of your intelligence and social capabilities, the child would have a higher IQ than mine and possess the social skills I lack. This could be crucial in continuing my work if anything were to happen to me.”
The gravity of his words hit you like a ton of bricks. L, always methodical and rational, had approached this highly personal matter with the same analytical mindset he used to solve cases. You could see the logic in his plan, yet the implications were overwhelming.
“So, you want me to… have a child with you?” you asked, trying to keep your voice steady.
“Yes,” he replied, his eyes unwavering. “But understand, this is not about emotions or personal desire...I think” He whispers to himself before he continues– “It’s a precaution, a part of my contingency planning. I’ve never experienced a relationship or intimacy, so I’m uncertain how to approach this.”
The room seemed to close in around you as you processed his request. It was a cold, calculated proposition, yet it carried a weight of vulnerability and trust. L was placing his future, his legacy, in your hands.
“How do you expect this to work, L?” you asked, your voice tinged with both curiosity and trepidation.
“I’m not sure,” he admitted, his facade of invincibility cracking slightly. “I’ve considered different approaches. Should I simply ask you directly? Should I try to make you fall in love with me first? But this isn’t about love. It’s about ensuring that if I am no longer here, someone capable can continue my work.”
A silence fell between you, heavy with unspoken thoughts and emotions. L’s eyes searched yours, looking for understanding, perhaps even acceptance. You could see the conflict within him, the struggle between his logical mind and the unfamiliar territory of human connection.
“I need time to think about this,” you finally said, your voice gentle but firm.
L nodded, a flicker of relief crossing his features. “Of course. Take all the time you need. This is not a decision to be made lightly.”
Finally, you made your decision.
One evening, you found L in his usual spot, hunched over his laptop, eyes glued to the screen. The dim light cast shadows across his face, highlighting the intensity of his focus. Taking a deep breath, you approached him, your heart pounding in your chest.
“L,” you said softly, breaking the silence. He looked up, his piercing gaze meeting yours.
“I’ve thought about what you asked,” you continued, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside. “And I agree.”
For a moment, L simply stared at you, processing your words. Then, slowly, he nodded, his fingers tapping lightly on the edge of his desk. “Understood. Thank you for your cooperation.”
You took a seat across from him, the air between you charged with a new sense of purpose. “How do we proceed?”
L leaned back, his thumb brushing his bottom lip in thought. “We need to ensure this doesn’t disrupt our work or compromise the investigation. The task force must not be aware of our personal connection, as it could create complications.”
You nodded, understanding the delicate balance that needed to be maintained. L’s expression remained impassive, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes. “I must admit that emotional connections are not my area of expertise. This will be… a learning experience. Should… we do it tonight?”
“Ah- Ah- Slow down, L-Lawliet!” you gasped, your voice breaking with a mix of pleasure and urgency.
L’s thrusts were sloppy but fast, driven more by instinct than experience. His movements lacked rhythm, a clear sign of his inexperience. He had come twice already without withdrawing from you, his body responding purely on primal urges.
He had done his research, concluding that a mating press might be the most effective position for this purpose. But he never anticipated how overwhelmingly good it would feel. Was it like this with everyone? Or was it something unique because it was you?
His thrusts grew more erratic, almost desperate. Small whines escaped his mouth, each one tinged with your name like a prayer. You could feel every twitch, every movement inside you, the raw intensity of his desire almost too much to bear.
“L,” you whispered, trying to regain some control. “You need to… slow down.”
He nodded, a bead of sweat trickling down his forehead. “I’m trying,” he panted, his voice unsteady. “It’s just… so overwhelming.”
His usually sharp, calculating mind seemed lost in the haze of sensation. Every thrust, every brush of skin against skin, was a new experience for him. You could see the conflict in his eyes, the struggle between maintaining control and giving in to the raw pleasure.
He moaned at the familiar, overwhelming sensation of climaxing again, and you could feel your own release approaching. The intensity was almost unbearable when he grabbed a pillow and slipped it under your back, angling you into an even deeper mating press. His thrusts became more deliberate, his cock somehow reaching deeper, hitting your g-spot with precision over and over again.
The pleasure was so intense, so all-consuming, that all you could do was chant his name like a mantra, each syllable a prayer of ecstasy. “L-Lawliet,” you breathed, your voice trembling with the force of your impending climax.
He watched you with dark, hungry eyes, his own pleasure driving him to thrust harder, faster. “S-shit,” he gasped, his breath hitching, “I think—” His words dissolved into a whine as he came again inside you, his release flooding your womb with a desperate, addictive need.
This wasn’t just about producing a successor anymore. It was about the raw, primal satisfaction of filling you over and over again. He was captivated by the sight of your bodies joined, the way your mixed arousal leaked from where you were connected, glistening in the dim light.
“Lawliet,” you cried out, your own climax hitting you with the force of a tidal wave. Your body tightened around him, milking every last drop of his release as he continued to thrust, his movements erratic and needy.
He whimpered, the sound vibrating through his chest as he pressed his forehead against yours, his dark hair falling in a messy curtain around your face. “You feel… incredible,” he whispered, his voice rough with emotion and exertion.
He groaned before pressing his lips to yours, the kiss deep and fervent. His cock remained erect inside you, pulsing with an insatiable desire. The feeling of having you this close, of being connected so intimately, was overwhelming. In that moment, he lost all sense of reason and the initial purpose behind his actions.
His mind, usually so sharp and focused on the Kira case, was now clouded with visions of a future he never thought he'd consider. He imagined how adorable you would look, carrying his child, a baby with his eyes and your smile. The idea of having a family with you consumed him, pushing all thoughts of logic and strategy aside.
Without realizing it, he began thrusting again, the movement instinctual and desperate. Each thrust was deliberate, fulfilling the small bump of cum inside you that was already visible through your tummy. He watched in awe, fascinated by the sight of your bodies joined so intimately, the tangible evidence of his desire and your shared pleasure.
“L-Lawliet,” you gasped against his lips, your hands clutching his shoulders as he moved within you. “What... what are you thinking?”
He pulled back slightly, his eyes locking onto yours. “I’m thinking… I’m thinking about us. About a future I never allowed myself to dream of.” His voice was rough with emotion, a raw edge that you rarely heard.
Your heart swelled at his words, the vulnerability in his usually composed demeanor striking a chord deep within you. “Lawliet,” you whispered, your fingers tracing the contours of his face. “I never imagined… I never thought you’d want this.Want me”
“I didn’t either,” he admitted, his thrusts growing more purposeful. “But now, with you, that's all I can think about. The idea of you carrying my child, of us having a family…you in general… it’s overwhelming.”
He kissed you again, more gently this time, savoring the softness of your lips against his. Each thrust sent waves of pleasure through you, the sensation heightened by the emotional intensity of the moment. His hands roamed your body, memorizing every curve, every detail.
“Do you… do you want this too?” he asked, his voice trembling slightly.
“Yes,” you breathed, the admission freeing a weight you hadn’t realized you were carrying. “I want this. I want us.”
His eyes darkened with a mix of relief and desire, and he kissed you harder, his movements inside you becoming more urgent. The room filled with the sounds of your shared pleasure, each moan and gasp a testament to the bond growing between you.
As he continued to thrust, you could feel the tension coiling tighter within you, each movement pushing you closer to the edge. He seemed to sense it too, his rhythm intensifying as he chased his own release.
“Lawliet,” you cried out, your climax hitting you with the force of a tidal wave. Your body tightened around him, every nerve ending alight with sensation.
He groaned, his own release following closely behind, filling you once more. The feeling was addictive, the raw intimacy of it all-consuming. He held you close, his forehead resting against yours as you both caught your breath.
“I can’t believe this is happening,” he whispered mostly to himself, his voice filled with wonder.
“Neither can I,” you replied, your heart pounding in sync with his. “But it feels right. It feels perfect.”
He nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. “It does.”
You stayed entwined like that, savoring the afterglow and the newfound depth of your connection. The Kira case and the outside world faded into the background, replaced by the warmth of each other’s presence and the promise of a future together.
Eventually, as the reality of your situation began to seep back in, you knew you had to return to your duties. But the bond you had forged would remain, a source of strength and comfort in the days to come.
As L gently pulled out and helped you adjust, he pressed a tender kiss to your forehead. “We’ll figure this out,” he said softly in a small whisper. “Together.”
“Together,” you echoed, your heart filled with a certainty that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would face them side by side.
