Okay so I have 2 scenarios for that Johnny, Hyoyeon, & Jaehyun, but they lead to the same outcome

The first is after filmin for the SM New Years show Jaehyun stays behind for Johnny & Hyoyeon to finish their DJ sets. Hyoyeon propositioned the two out of a bet with either Yuri or Taeyeon. The two Neos are surprised, but Johnny takes the opportunity for what it is, & after Jaehyun learns that Johnny will be there agrees.

The second is Hyoyeon inviting them to her room after an SM concert abroad. It starts as Hyoyeon wanting to hang with Johnny more because she hasn’t interacted with him much since his debut. She seeks out Jaehyun because she’s curious about him. Her interest was peeked after his duet with Taeyeon singing “Starlight”

I think Johnny goes into the situation thinkin he’s gonna take whatever he can, after all, at the end of the day he can say he was with a member of SNSD.

Jaehyun goes into it with something to prove. He’s the youngest, & it’s known that he only agrees because he was reassured by the fact that Johnny would be there. Now that he’s there he goes into it as a man on a mission. He’s goin in to prove to Hyoyeon that he’s not easily shaken. He’s also goin in to show Johnny that he’s grown so much from being the youngest member of SR15B

I imagine Hyoyeon goes in confident, but she fucks around & finds out much quicker than she would have thought. Johnny is laid back which gives him a confidence that doesn’t allow him to be worried about his performance & Jaehyun goes in on a mission which makes his actions more enthusiastic. This leads to her gettin thoroughly wrecked.

Since if he was as good a father the fandom made him out to be, Bruce would have been a much more well adjusted person imo.

Like- I personally can‘t really imagine him being a hugger, or someone who doles out a lot of praise.

Not to play too much Alfred defense because there are some rightful criticisms out there, but in that era, with an heir to a fortune that large, he absolutely wasn’t supposed to be a father to Bruce. And in fact, any sign that he was overstepping those bounds would indeed have an effect on his guardianship of Bruce overall.

In many ways, I read that standoffishness as both 1) British parenting and 2) the fact that Alfred was a guardian to Bruce, but not a father. He couldn’t be. He had to be so many other things to Bruce first, and then to Wayne Manor and all its properties.

Bruce taking a ward and replicating this relationship is very interesting to me. We see him eventually become a father, but it isn’t right away with Dick. The same thing is true of Bruce and Alfred — eventually, years later, they start referring to each other as father and son. They hug. They cry together.

I tried to kind of touch on this in my a/b/o fic where Alfred finds Bruce in the alley after Thomas and Martha died. And how desperate Alfred is to find Bruce and comfort him, yet there are so many hidden and half-hidden social rules that keep him from fully being Bruce’s parent, even in the absence of one.
