I know I said I would prefer Lucie/Jesse/Matthew as a Love triangle to James/Cordelia/Matthew love triangle

But tbh my ideal love triangle would be Lucie/Cordelia/Grace

Let me explain:

- more sapphic drama (that’s all)

And,,,

- Lucie is in love with Cordelia (ofc see The Beautiful Cordelia)

- Lucie also starts to fall for Grace when they do necromancy together

- does Cordelia want to be Grace or be with Grace?!

- Cordelia wants to be parabatai with Lucie bc she doesn’t think she could ever be with her

- Grace has always been curious about Cordelia from hearing about her from James (before bracelet)

- Grace understands how James fell hard for her

- She also gets to know Lucie doing necromancy together and falls for her

- Also Grace is bi but she has always leaned more towards women esp bc her power makes her doubtful of ant potential relationship with a man

Kinda late with this but I'm rereading CoT and what if the Grace and Christopher thing in family tree would be expained in Titanic way like when someone asked Rose her name and she answered "Rose Dawson", so what if Grace didn't want to be Cartwright or Blackthorn for bad memories so she chose Lightwood?

Okay so basically in Shadowhunters there was this family tree, and on it it stated that Christopher and Grace got married and had a kid. And in the book series they were just good friends. Cassandra Clare (the author) has said it’s inaccurate. But like cmon you said they were going to get married 😭😭

angel and cordelia:

A solid friends-to-almost-lovers dynamic that ends tragically Because the showrunners of Angel didn't go in with the idea of putting these two together, the characters' friendship was allowed to develop organically without the assumption of romance, which then made the realization of their feelings for each other more satisfying. Unfortunately the shadow of Bangel (Buffy x Angel) still held over Angel's character, so I think it was a hard sell at the time and didn't gain a lot of popularity in the years since. Both these two characters grew alongside each other, supported each other, and despite knowing that they loved each other, let each other go to pursue their destinies.

I want THULE Au but for the TLH Era

Lucie and Grace are lesbian witches who fall in love raising Jesse and instead of going back to the Shadowhunters Lucie embraces her Warlock side and becomes a powerful Necromancy witch (with a ghost cult)

Grace has a lab where she studies magic in combination with science and she becomes a powerful potioneer.

Lucie isn’t immortal but she does have an extended lifespan from her Warlock blood (like 300 yrs and she is able to use her power to extend Grace’s lifespan too) and so she’s still alive during the modern Blackthorns era and they carry on Lucie and Grace’s legacy of magic, necromancy, + dark magic research.

James also embraces his shadow warlock side to. He learns how he can travel through demon dimensions and Belials realm returns and he has power over it.

Cordelia gets rid of Belial while being Lilith’ Palladin, and James is able to use the gun and his powers to banish Lilith to Pandemonium so theb James and Cordelia have control over Edom and Belial’s Realm.

Matthew is with them and Heronfairstairs is real. So James and Matthew are also in love and they have the power of true nephilim on their sides as well. They anchor each other and they have James’ magic on their sides that prevents them from burning up.

Anna and Ari become vampires. Why? Just bc. They become leaders in downworld. Anna becomes the new Camille but better. She and Ari go to New York in the twenties.

Thomas and Alastair support Cordelia and James and become leaders of the London Institute.

I would like to think that Christopher was the one who faked his death (like was mentioned in sobh or somewhere that people did that) so he could be with Grace without Tatiana or something connected to her being a thread

Chain of Thorns Spoilers!!!!!

You know, when I said I wanted the Magnus walks in on scene, I really didn’t think I had to specify, that I also didn’t want every other form of walked in on scene that has ever existed. 

Cause, like, the Jesse Lucie with Magnus, Will, and James one was really bad (and gave me Lord of Shadows flashbacks)

But the fucking James walking in on Cordelia (HIS WIFE) and Mathew (HIS PARAPATI) kissing scene! 

That that was too much for me. The miscommunication, the inability to communicate and the fact that I (The world’s biggest Grace Blackthorn hater, the the point that woman is worse than fucking AIDA, Amy Gardner, and honestly maybe even Zara Dearborn levels of fuck I hate her) is shipping Grace and Christopher cause they have the only POV scenes that aren’t insanely painful to me, is terrifying! 

I’m also, I might add, barely 140 pages in! 

This is going to be a very long and very painful few days of reading.

Okay but after Chain of Thorns it‘s becoming a tradition that the TLH gang meets at least every Saturday. They are spending the summer days picnicking in Regent‘s Park and the winter ones cuddled up in Curzon Street. And over the years it becomes normal that when all the couples have already left, it‘s just Herondaisy and Thomastair talking and laughing until late hours.
