Hello! I've returned to say I adore the twins designs so much!! They look so human and I really love that. You only drew them like a few times but how did you figure out their differences and similarities in appearance (since they are identical twins... I think). Info-dump if you want, I loved reading your response to my last question, it genuinely brightened my day.
There we go, thats Third house designs!
Speaking about twins, need to mention, that i think Corona and Ianthe is identical, but because of weight difference they seem alike
Details inder cut
Women Fashion (Baroque period)
The word baroque was originally used by the Italians to describe pearls of strange or overly ornate shapes, and in the 17th century the term became the name of an era, because it was a period of entertainment, wealth and debauchery (for the rich, of course).
I personally think that period and mindset fit the third house perfectly
Women of that period have centric parted hairstyle with ringlets and wear dresses with deep neckline (that almost show the nipple) and puff sleeves. Made from silk, its look like liquid that embrace the body. Blue and Gold colors was an thing, pearl jewelry was very fashionable
Main take for desing
They fashionably dressed in rich silk and satin clothing, which is perfectly fitting for vibe
I borrowed elements of women's fashion from the Baroque period and mixed it with cavalier fashion on my own taste. For reference i take Baroque painting of Lord John Stuart and His Brother ,Lord Bernard Stuartby Anthony van Dyck.
The Cavalier fashion
Babs design is just creative version of typical cavalier fashion, there no much though behind it
Cavaliers wear long hair with curls and mustache. The waistline was high to make torso shorter and legs longer. The pants was the knee length and worn with with high heeled boots. Cool hats also was an thing in that period.
Springklinge (German main-gauche) or Trident Knife
I won't write about the rapier again, Babs's is just have expensively decorated one. The thinf that are really interesting there is Springklinge (or German main-gauche)
I though its was an some fantasy weapon but no, its was an real pair weapon that used to capture the opponent's blade. Main-gauche comes in different types, with and without hand protection, but mostly rapier and main-gauche was an pair weapon, that decorated in the same style.
senya need to play rdr2 so i need to end that lecture and free up computer for her so end of presentation. thank you.
