Everyone Almost everyone must’ve seen some motivational video.. With or without interest.. It may be a YouTube suggestion or a WhatsApp forwarded message or our patents must’ve sent us which’s really common or we must be pretty desperate for motivation so we googled up ourselves. But do they really have an impact? I mean for me I’ll watch a video I’ll be like ‘wow I must really do this, I shouldn’t be lazy anymore’ I think all of that while sleeping on my couch like a panda. It is jus like listening to Some interview at 3 AM telling bout how important sleep is. So I’m asking again Is really watching just a motivational video really do have an impact? Yea May be for a while. And then we’ll get back to our old self. For a change, motivational speech isn’t the only thing u need. First it needs ur will. Your will to change. And then of course efforts. Change comes to u like a lost puppy. So if you ask me.. Motivational speech isn’t really gonna change things.. it just helps you to think. Everything seems so cool Everything’s fine. It’s just slight change but that’s okay, coz it’s just a bit. Nothing to worry bout it, I guess. But that’s where it all starts. Bit by bit.. bit by bit. Slowly Everything seems out of loop. Feeling of drowning when you’re not really drowning. Sleepless nights.. Unexplained scars.. oversized sleeves.. Dark sunken eyes.. Even tho people don’t really know what going on inside you, sure can see the physical changes. So they starts ask ‘How’re you’? Well it really feels good to share and get down the load of emotions. But that feeling is suppressed by lack of words, fear judgement, ignorance and what not. Insecurities and trust issues. Duh. There’s a lot that needs to be shared. But it doesn’t only need words. It needs strength, courage, trust, hope, and oh you know it needs everything. Scared of stigma in the society, Hurting the loved ones, fear of erasing their smile makes us shut the fuck up. Everyone says mental health illness makes us lose confidence, strength and blah blah. I think we’re the most cool persons. With all these battles, demons, and stuff. We’re still fighting. That’s a win right? But talking to someone is another win. We’re just one step away. So let’s just not stuck here. Let’s see the world as it is. Instead of living in the darkness let’s come out to seek the warmth. World isn’t always cruel. There are people out there who really gets us.
