📚 QUEERBOOK 2024 is hereee! We made a book by and for LGBTQ+ youth! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Last year, we asked LGBTQ+ youth: what's your idea of a "queer utopia?"

Not gonna lie - with more than 150 bills introduced in 35 states in 2023 that aimed to restrict student access to inclusive and diverse books and other library materials, the theme felt pretty radical.

And you DELIVERED. With the help of our Youth Voices (amazing queer youth activists from across the country), we compiled your amazing submissions of poetry, short essays and letters, visual art, photography, and more into Queerbook 2024. Like a yearbook, it captures what queer youth are feeling, going through, and hoping for - right here, right now across the U.S.

It's also no accident that it's the perfect small-ish size to stash in your locker or backpack so you can crack it open any time you're looking for some queer connection. :3

when did the tumblr culture around asks change so much? ive been thinking about it alot recently and its something i already do think about time to time, like... what happened? they used to be such a huge part of the community and suddenly fell off.

i think in 2024 maybe we should work to bring back the larger ask culture. start more random conversations with others, create and share more ask games, maybe say something nice to the people you follow, drop off a silly meme or just pop in and say hi!

OKAY SO— when I said I was working on something related to the new Lasko audio, that wasn’t totally accurate IT REALLY JUST INSPIRED ME TO MAKE THE SCENE I’VE DESPERATELY NEEDED :,)

My Dear isn’t afraid of storms like perceived in the audio, has a deep fondness for them even, so a kiss in the rain couldn’t be a more perfect moment for these two<3

My aunt is very sensitive to strong scents (buys my deodorant so that we know it won't harm her, because other than a couple brands, they give her migraines, we don't have scented candles, and I have a couple of perfumes, but I never wear them), so we're super careful there, but we also can't go into some stores because the perfume counter is Right There. When we go shopping, she knows to look for me in the candle aisle because I'll stand there sniffing each candle and giving a review to whoever is with me at the time

I can't shake off my mind the thought of the two of us in the shower in that room we stayed in.

It started the minute you took your clothes off.

The look you gave me was like an invite to me.

That instant, my clothes came off, and as I got to the shower, the door was open like an invite to enter.

The feeling of the water falling down on us.

Feeling my arms wrapping your body while my hands wrap your breasts and my lips kiss your neck.

I have my hands travelling through your curves while our bodies rub on each other.

My hand stops between your legs and I have my fingers entering your body at an incredible rhythm.

Seeing the pleasure you feeling while your body is quivering and hearing you moan while your hands are against the wall is just unexplainable.

Being able to be kneeling in front of you with your leg on my shoulder is a fantastic feeling.

All that water is falling on us while my tongue is playing with your body just unexplainable.

We swap, and your lips begin suck the life out of me to the point of having to sit down on the floor.

We were supposed to be showering, but you sat on me rocking your body on mein while I suck on your nippels.

The thought is just TO BE CONTINUED.
