Also flying fish, maybe that could be Donnie? They definitely can't fly as well as birds lol, but it could potentially make it fit better than diving birds, he can fly but never fly quite as well as his brothers?

For birds, I know gannets can dive real well?? And ducks to a degree, but not in the same way lmaoo. Gannets are the ones that dive from more extreme heights, but only get about 10 meters down with decent swimming skills. That’s kind of what I was thinking about for the brothers that could fly — swimming is an option, but they aren’t amazing at it.

Meanwhile Donnie as the flying fish is actually kinda hilarious. XD Those suckers can get pretty high up if they catch a good wind, and I can definitely see that for him. Like he stays closer to the surface, can fly/glide when he wants to, but doesn’t usually dive any deeper than Leo does so he still doesn’t see that underbelly. 🤔

but yeah maybe I didn't articulate it very well but this is kind of what I meant in my original reply. there was a repeating beat in the richonne narrative in both twd and towl of divine intervention/fate/destiny/coincidence/whatever you want to call it. and with that in mind, if we are talking about a world with no zombies but was otherwise exactly the same, my thought is that something would happen that would put them in each other's orbit on a consistent enough basis for the connection between them to make itself known. because yeah, not only would they probably not cross paths otherwise but their different backgrounds - not to mention the fact that they both already had partners and kids - would mean it would take much more than a passing attraction for anything to happen. now, if we're talking about an AU in a more general/traditional sense where their lives are completely different from canon but their basic characterizations are relatively the same, then obviously the possibilities are endless.

but listen, I also totally get feeling like there's no way in hell these two would have ever met otherwise all things considered. it took me a while to come around to enjoying AUs in general (like for any fandom) but I've really come to enjoy thinking about my favorite fictional people in all sorts of little scenarios, especially ones that are kinder to them than the one I found them in. to each their own!

[Monster High] so since pink lagoona is a hot topic in the fandom, i though it'd be a fun challenge to try and make some pink lagoonas myself. there's actually a lot of material to work with imo!

these are all essentially looks for a recolored g1 lagoona, only the last one being intended for her g3 personality. i wanted to make more for g3, but didn't quite like them in execution, so maybe another time..

tropical treasure: beautiful, glamorous, colorful, but a bit more of an aquarium decoration than a strange beast. loosely inspired by bettas

ghost ship cruise: etherial haunty lagoona, inspired by jellyfish. light, translucent and probably cold to the touch

coy classic: elegant mermaid pond lagoona, inspired by koi fish. this one is kind of an amalgamation of her g1 dolls that exists in my head tbh

little axolotl: cute and quirky, like the new lagoona. inspired by axolotls and sea slugs :)
