YOUNG JUSTICE DESERVES AT LEAST 5 SEASONS!

Justice League/ Justice League Unlimited (which were essentially the same show imo) got a total of 5 seasons!

Teen Titans got 5 seasons!

Young Justice is a hallmark of the DC animated universe, alike with the aforementioned shows amongst others like BTAS (which still got more than YJ if you include TNBA which I most certainly do).

IT IS TOO GOOD TO JUST CANCEL AFTER SEASON 3! NO CONFIRMATION OF A FOURTH SEASON YET IS EQUALLY ASTONISHING AS IT IS SCARY! DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE GOT DCUNIVERSE JUST FOR YOUNG JUSTICE? I THINK YOU PEOPLE AT DC NEED TO RE-EVALUATE WHO IS IN CHARGE OF DECISION MAKING BECAUSE YOU ARE PROGRESSIVELY ANGERING MORE AND MORE OF YOUR FAN BASE. AND THE WAY DISNEY IS GOING, YOU SERIOUSLY DON’T WANT TO PUSH AWAY YOUR FAN BASE, NOT ALL OF US ARE LOYAL TO THE END LIKE ME. I MAY STICK AROUND FOR THE FUTURE BUT NOT ALL OF US WILL.

June 2nd: Second livestream, watching Season one, episodes 7-12. Time TBA.

June 3rd: Use the hashtag #YJComics on Twitter to share your favorite tie-in comics moment!

June 4th: Third livestream, watching Season one, episodes 13-18. Time TBA.

June 5th: Whelmed Wednesdays! YJFanVids and I will be sharing highlights from the Young Justice Fandom, including articles by YJ.tv, podcasts from the YJFiles, new blogs to follow, and more. Use the hashtag #WhelmedWednesday to share and promote.

June 6th: Use the hashtag #TraughtThursday on Twitter to share your favorite Young Justice couple!

June 7th: Fourth livestream, finishing Season one with episodes 19-26.

Favorite Ship: Will Harper and Jade Nguyen. Their love comes from the depths of misery in which they have found themselves. Jade managed to push Will out and it is his turn to pull her out. Their love is more about their actions (or lack thereof on Jades part) because neither can express their feelings very well, but it is a love can survive all because it was forged in the darkness. Do not steal my art, give credit if you use it.

Man I was hoping this crashthemode thing would work; And I was hoping that S4 was in production but WB was keeping it secret but I don't think that's the case anymore. Gosh I don't wanna say I've lost hope but...

I mean… nothing’s stopping you from participating now! We’re only halfway through the month, there’s still plenty of time to participate and make your voice heard. Here’s what you can do to support: 

Send in a video saying why you love Young Justice to yjvids@yahoo.com. We don’t yet have enough submissions to make a whole video, so this would be extremely helpful. If you’re wary about showing your face, no worries! Write why you love it on a piece of paper and film that! Just make an effort, and we’d love to include it.

Participate in the events on Twitter! We worked really hard to come up with lots of little hashtag days, sharing everything from what you’re looking forward to in 3b, to a whole appreciation week for the Cast and Crew. This is how WB will see us. It takes less than a minute to write a tweet, so if you can, please contribute! The calendar of events can be found on Youngjustice.tv, on my blog, on @yjfanvids‘ blog, or just by typing in crashthemode on Tumblr search!

Send in submissions to @yjfandomfest giving awareness to your favorite YJ blogs. We really, really want to bring attention to some of the amazing YJ blogs out there, but we cannot do that without your help. I mean, I could nominate a hundred blogs, but that won’t mean nearly as much as compared to it coming from y’all. 

Promote and participate. Really, that’s what it boils down to. The only way this campaign works is if people participate. I’m sorry if that comes off salty, I swear I am. But I can make a hundred tweets and WB wouldn’t care. But I bet they’d care if a hundred different people started tweeting. 

I know y’all are tired. I know y’all are upset. I’m upset and tired too, and I don’t want to have to fight. Doesn’t mean I’m going to stop. If YJ isn’t renewed for a S4, it won’t be because I didn’t try. Don’t you want to feel the same?

Definitely Darkest from S2. Had this amazing footage of my boys, plus a serious convo between Wally and Dick. The episode was PERFECT in tying together some loose stings and setting the scene for the rest of the season.

Fandom Fridays

As part of #CrashtheMode, we want to start having Fandom Fridays. 

What are Fandom Fridays? Good question! 

Is there a member of the YJ Fandom you admire? Perhaps an artist you want to thank. A writer who makes you laugh. Or even just a tumblr user who reblogs great YJ content. This blog is for them!

Throughout the month of May, submit an ask or submission nominating someone to be recognized for their contribution to the YJ Fandom. You can submit as many as you like, anon or off anon! We won’t be posting them until May 31st. Here are the submission guidelines: 

Please make sure you include their username in both the post and the tags so they can find it.

Love and support only. Keep it positive.

Make it as long or as short as you want! The more the better.

Try to keep it focused on why you wish to nominate them, maybe something YJ related or what they do for the fandom.

Submissions will not be posted until Friday, May 31st. We will publish all submissions that meet the criteria at random.
