So I’ve been seeing meme redraws of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence as of late and I was like “Fuck it, why not draw ponies again.” I had fun drawing them (especially the crystal effects I gave their horns and Cadence’s wings)

I also experimented with my artstyle a bit (trying to go for more of an anglar style and having more simplistic shading). I know it’s subdle, but I like how it turned out (I’m definitely going to experiment more with that)

WHERE in the album does it say that Soul is VIOLENT to H+M? Like

He insults them sure, calls them deviants and cysts, and he has a trident and authority but-

The only times he threatened violence in the songs, its always self-inflicted violence. Its always a suicide threat, not a "Imma stab you if you don't stop" kind of thing.

And speaking of, ROE and Mucka Blucka don't mention Soul being violent or consigning Heart to Apathy either. If anything, it proves that only H+M are violent.

So why is fanon Soul so aggro and violent and always hurting H+M? Im confused.

perhaps controversial take? but parading meleys' head isn't in itself an absurd or clearly stupid idea imo. it is disrespectful af, it's gross, but it's meant to be a display of strength — the thing is, because of the context and situation as a whole, it misses the inspiring awe and showing strength goal they were aiming for and leaves the smallfolk terrified and desperate instead. the idea a dead dragon's head takes away from the magic and mystique surrounding the royal family seems a little silly to me. everyone knows dragons can die. meraxes was literally killed by people! with weapons! normal humans! ( shoutout to dorne for being the best, anyways) people know dragons can be killed. and in this specific scenario, it can't even be taken as showing people they might kill a dragon, because meleys was killed by another dragon (i think in the show they advertise it as being sunfyre? not sure), not something easily done. might be what the show ends up going for, but i just can't see it as encouragement for people to look at dragons differently

Decided to do a redesign thingie of Fluttershy (well I woyldn’t entirely say redesign; more of my own spin on designing her)

I took inspiration from her G3 counterpart, as well as her rainbow power form from an episode of Friendship is Magic

I had a lot of fun designing her ^^ I’m thinking for her personality and interests, I would take aspects of both her G3 and G4 counterparts, like her being a photographer (mostly taking pictures of plants and animals), as well as animal care. I could also see her being a painter on the side (she mostly does realism of landscapes, albiet with her own twist (using pastel colors and giving them a more whimsical look)) I haven’t developed a whole lot, but these are just some ideas I have

absolutely racking up the list of things i want to talk to a doctor about physically and mentally but i know i wont get to until im fucking 18 i guess because my parents dont want me going on that nasty mental health medication . as if they couldnt just fucking block it even if the doctor recomended it but i guess its just most important that i just trying and 'get my act together!!' without ever knowing whats wrong with me !!
