Crystal Elixirs

Crystal elixirs are made by charging water with the energy of one or more crystals. Also called “gem water” and “crystal essence”, crystal elixirs can add energy and power to almost any potion. When created safely they can be extremely effective and safe to drink!

There are a few different ways to charge water with the effects of a stone. The simplest way is called direct immersion. This method involved placing cleansed & cleaned stones directly into water to charge it. However, this method is not the safest way to create an elixir as many stones and minerals can be toxic. Indirect immersion, placing your water container in a dish surrounded by the stones of your choice, is just as effective and much safer.

NOTE: Before making any elixir or charging any water, always check for the toxicity of the stones you’re using! Some can cause bad reactions when combined, and it’s recommended that each stone be charged in its own container. The best way to prevent toxic elixirs is to use indirect immersion.

Materials:

- Water (that is safe to drink)

- A container with a lid (to store your elixir)

- A shallow dish or plate

- Crystals of your choice

Directions:

Cleanse and charge your crystals using your preferred method.

Fill your container with water and put on the lid.

Place your container in a shallow dish or on a plate.

Surround the container with your stones.

Leave in direct sunlight or moonlight for at least three hours (keep in mind that some stone fade in direct sunlight - make sure you do your research!).

Your crystal elixir is now ready!

Store in a dark place away from direct sunlight for up to a week.

Use vodka, brandy, or cider vinegar to preserve your gem elixir if you plan on storing it for longer than 1 week. 1:1 elixir and preservative. 

Some uses for crystal elixirs: Watering plants, potions, spells, baths, anointing candles, hair rinse, etc.

I just added some #palosanto and added some #crystals to each stick so you can create your own Crystal Elixir at home 💗💗💗. Raising the vibrations is your home is super important 🧘🏻‍♀️ These are giant sticks and not very pretty. I sourced them while living in Ecuador. They are sourced from dropped branches or dead trees. No trees were EVER cut down to make these (defeats the point of killing the tree for smudging). These sticks are not sanded down to look pretty, like some you see on line, and then the same people turn around and sell you the saw dust or smaller pieces to burn too 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. Seemed so silly to me when id been making crystal elixirs for years(check out my YouTube "Spiritual Muse" for the super old video of me explaining how to make them and the what not to dos). But this product is seriously so perfect. They come in 6 different crystals and each crystal is kept safe inside a glass tube inside the bottle. One major concern I had with other bottles you'll see is that some of the crystals aren't safe to drink. With these bottles you can use the vibrations of any crystal or mineral, even water soluble ones! None of the crystals shown here are water soluble, however, you can take out the insert and add, say Selenite, if it strikes your fancy. What I love about these is that you could change out your crystal healing everyday if you wanted to! Say you buy rose quartz for self love and a week later you feel you need some grounding? Just pop out the insert and replace the rose quartz for say smoky quartz or black tourmaline.
