Man I am on a roll these days!

I love this doll base for the lmk characters, I actually drew some designs for the other lmk characters in this base in a notebook and as much as I would like to post them, Idk if that'll be any time soon.

I know in the show, Mk's headband is his signature. Even since childhood, I get that but I also saw a design of kid MK with him without the headband and fell in love.

Also he has light up sketchers. Cause why not.

It was a lot of fun doing the crayon drawings and seems like red and yellow are our lil prince's favorite colors, though it was a bit difficult to do them on such a small scale and at a slanted angle.

Looking back, I do wish I made the toys a little more scuffed up cause while I do believe Pigsy would buy some toys and new clothes for his son the kid but I do love the idea that many of MK's old toys were hand me downs or at least second handed from Pigsy's past or even any cousins giving old toys or heck. Maybe some of Tang's university students found out their teacher has a new kid and give some old stuff to help out since Mk is a sweet kid and his appearance was quite spontaneous.

Perhaps that doll is a clone Wukong placed to keep an extra eye on the boy

BTW that love heart is NOT romantic in any way you creeps. Like how a child loves a toy, there is nothing weird happening here.

But we see in the show, their father-son dynamic. I know there is a ship format of mentor x student but there is a clear parental relationship here!

It just feels icky, especially when you consider the inbalance of both power and experience in any 'romantic' context

I still think about how fatherly they were to MK during this very sensitive moment. And then right after, Pigsy does the most fatherly thing ever and gives MK his coat. Come on, now.. I’m in tears atp cause of yall.

This is the scene I’m referring to btw. 

Before MK leaves with Nezha, he speaks with the group (minus Mei ofc) and they hug. Then, the next scene right after, he has Pigsy’s coat on and Pigsy doesn’t have it anymore.

What is MK's Name and How did he get it?

Just... how funny would it be if MK's name was "Mysterious Kidwhojustshowedupatmydoor" because Pigsy was Tired when he was giving info to the social worker, and didn't realize they were asking if he knew their name.

And the worker was Also Tired and just.... Wrote That Down.

And then... everyone down the line of creating paperwork for the kid just... kept it, because they didn't have any other name for the kid. And at this point it's his Official Name. Eventually they just shorten it to the initials MK.

Like yeah in ROTSQ Red Son opened a food stand with his dad because he was jealous of MK and Pigsy. What's even funnier to me is that in the next episode MK makes an asleep Pigsy call him "son" because MK was jealous of DBK and Red Son. What are they doing

So I’m just taking it that since Pigsy knew Tang for so long before MK came around, Tang knew of MK from the beginning and in my head that absolutely means he helped raise him and was just as fatherly of a figure in MK’s life as Pigsy was.

Id say maybe even Sandy too, but MK seemed to not be acquainted with Sandy until Pigsy introduced them in s1e0. Maybe back then, Sandy was still how he used to be? And the rsn Pigsy was unaware he’d changed was cause he was so occupied raising MK to come visit and catch up?

This literally reads like two dads meeting up with an old friend after entering parenthood
