after 84 years im finally posting the final part of this series. i might do a bonus chapter if y'all mess with this. also this might not be as charismatic as the last three parts because i wasn't feeling it and i changed the pov to 2nd. i actually like it like this. link to part 3.

it's been three months since byakuya had you fix his servers and if he was being honest, these three months were the worst for him. there was nothing physically wrong with him. but mentally…

that was another story.

after you left the classroom that day, he called into the Togami Corporation to check on your handy work. to his surprise, not only were the networks fixed but they were made even stronger than before, so literally, nothing could get through. and all of it was done in under five minutes.

to say he was surprised was an understatement. this was way more than what he asked for. 

but why? what was the point of doing more when he didn't give you a reason to?

it threw his mind for a loop. he never understood why people did things "out of the kindness of their heart". he never did anything for anyone unless he was getting something out of it. you were no different. but the exchange you asked for didn't match the work you did in his mind. you deserved more because you literally saved his company. who knows what would've happened if you weren't there?

but he still had the nerve to question your ability in the end.

it took him two months to realize he was in the wrong. it wasn't like he was ever in the wrong before (he likes to tell himself). but maybe the fact you were avoiding him helped out a bit.

it wasn't like you two had classes together, so he didn't see you every day. yet, the times that he did, you'd make it your mission to stay out of his way. 

byakuya should be happy. he should be happy that you have finally decided to stop wasting his time and leave him alone. but he couldn't. and that's what had him stuck for the last month. 

he unwillingly came to the realization that he maybe, sorta kinda… enjoyed the time that you two spent. even though all you did was argue and make insulting quips at each other, it became so a part of his daily routine that without it, he felt… odd. before you, he was fine. and during you, he was fine. yet, after you, he felt a bit empty.

these thoughts were running through his mind so much that he didn't realize that he was in the school library for so long. usually, the affluent progeny was thankful for the silence in the library during after-school hours, but lately, it was not helping him clear his head. nor was the book he was not reading.

maybe it was time to just head home. byakuya closed the book he was reading, preparing to leave when the door of the room opened.

byakuya looked up and saw you, the person that has ruined his life for the past few months.

he clutched the book in his hands. you seemingly hadn't noticed him when you walked in, so you continued on doing what you came to do. yet, for the first time in his life, the affluent progeny had no idea what to do. 

should he… talk to you or not? and if he did, what would he say? should he apologize for what he said? 

the affluent progeny had once again got lost in his thoughts and wasn't pulled out until he heard your voice.

"are you just going to stand there or are you going to say something?" byakuya finally looked up and saw you. you were sitting at the same spot when this whole fiasco first started. you hadn't looked up from your laptop yet you knew he was there.

"and what do you propose i say to you?" he didn't think it came out rude. nor did he intend it to. yet, the way you looked at him like he was out of his mind made him think it came out worse than he thought.

you let out a frustrated sigh as you began to pack up your things quickly. it was obvious that you didn't want to be there anymore because of what he said. without thinking, byakuya grabbed your arm. you both went silent for a moment. neither of you knew what was going on. byakuya more so than you.

it took a second for the affluent progeny to realize this was probably the only chance he had to fix this. he took a deep breath in. "look. if you're mad at me… for what i said last time, i… i want to apologize for what i said to you."

there. he finally said what was on his mind. it oddly felt freeing to him. but it looked like his words threw you off.

“who are you and what have you done to togami?” even though what you said sounded like a joke, the look on your face and the tone in your voice said otherwise. it irritated byakuya that you weren’t taking him seriously. yet, he understood. if he were in your shoes, he would laugh in his own face.

“i'm trying to be sincere, idiot.” his word caused you to glare at him. “and i'm sincerely trying to figure out who managed to force you to apologize. i didn’t know that word was in your vocabulary.” even in his time of rare vulnerability, you still couldn’t help to chastise him. byakuya grit his teeth, getting ready to throw his usual insults at you. but that would defeat the whole purpose of him talking to you in the first place. so he took a calming breath.

“look,” the affluent progeny started, “i apology for insulting your talents. obviously you are more capable than i gave you credit for.” you still continue to look at him like he had grown two heads, but your expression soon softened as you let out a chuckle. “y'know it’s still weird hearing that coming from you,” cue byakuya kissing his teeth. “but since you’re being sincere, i’ll forgive you… this time.” besides the quip you made, what you said put a smile on his face. this was probably the first time you two gave each other a smile that wasn’t meant to be condescending for once.

it felt nice.

byakuya continued to look at you, unsure what to do next, when you put all of your belongings back down and asked him a question. “so… what book were you reading?”

Sleeping Together (Literally) Headcanons

Just some general fluff and sweet headcanons for Byakuya, Nagito, and Kokichi.

He has a nighttime routine so please don’t interrupt him, he has extremely little patience if you try.

Not one for cuddles (lies).

He will fall asleep as far away from you as possible.

He will wake up touching you in some way- an arm over your waist, your head on his chest, or even just legs touching

Don’t try to sleep in, that doesn’t fly with him.

No morning kisses, don’t even try.

Doesn’t snore, but does occasionally grunt or groan.

Blanket hog and will admit to it, this isn’t a battle you’ll win.

Will accept you guys sleeping with separate blankets to prevent this but it doesn’t prevent him waking up being close to you.

NAGITO KOMAEDA

Spending the night (or even just napping) with Nagito takes a while to work up to.

Be patient with him!  I promise he wants to sleep with you just as bad but he fears everything going wrong.

He will be stiff and nervous when you first get in bed next to him, he’s not uncomfortable he just… doesn’t know why you’re wanting to be in bed with him, surely you have other people you could be near.

You have to bring up cuddling him.

His body is cold, please use blankets and warm him up.

Has nightmares about his illness, he’ll tell you it’s fine and to not stay up with him but at least sit up with him for a few minutes.

Snores and knows it, please don’t bring it up.

You are free to get up when you want, but why would you want to?

He prefers to have you wrap an arm over him, put a leg over him, hold his hand, just do ANYTHING to remind him that he’s alive, that he’s with you.

Will eventually get more and more comfortable with you being in bed with him and will tease you over wanting to be so close to someone like him.  It’s all jokes, don’t take it too seriously.

KOKICHI OMA

No naptime cuddles, he gets too hot and uncomfortable.

His body is like a heater, blankets aren’t required unless it’s just a comfort thing for either of you.

He has to have the TV on, a song playing on his phone, SOMETHING- he will fall asleep with just a fan on but that takes a very long time.  Silence is a big no.

He will cuddle you, he prefers to be the big spoon regardless of your size.

That’s not to say he doesn’t like to be held while sleeping, but he’s got a reputation to maintain y’know

Will hold you as close and as tight as possible, good luck if you have to get up in the middle of the night.

This fucker snores and talks and due to his closeness, you will wake up.  This is unavoidable, please understand.

You aren’t sleeping in, the second he’s awake you have to be awake.

☆Makoto Naegi was a bit scared seeing you. Your aura was intimidating and dark, your clothing was bold and different from what he's used to seeing around the school. But one day, he felt brave and confident, wanting to know who you really are and if you're the same person he's seen. What he didn't expect was for you to give him a sweet smile, a genuine one. It wasn't fake nor did it have any hint of malicious intent. He was shocked that you're actually really kind. And he was ready to see more of that.

☆Leon Kuwata was also very intimidated when he first saw you. He'd always avoid your path and you as a whole. He didn't want to he near you or your group, in fear of getting hurt. But when you asked him for the notes in your shared class, he was dumbfounded. Your voice wasn't anything like your aura or how you dressed and acted. It was sweeter, kinder, softer. Nothing he was expecting, but now he can't keep you out of his mind.

☆Hifumi Yamada always dreamed of meeting someone like you, or even being in the same vicinity as you. He's written and read about sukebans before, he always prayed to the gods to meet one and here you are. Now that you're in the same school as him and some classes, he doesn't know how to approach you. He knows sukebans are violent and mean girls, so how does he approach someone who's known for being violent and mean? By hyping yourself up and going straight to the point. He'd walk up to you and your group, introducing himself and talking about his Ultimate. What he didn't expect was for you to compliment him with a smile. He'd walk away, flustered, happy and nervous.

☆Mondo Owada takes immediate interest in you as soon as he heard about you. He knows there's a 50/50 chance that you're nice and he's willing to take that chance, especially since he is also that 50/50 chance. You just look so beautiful and strong, and the amount of confidence radiating off of you just tells him to talk to you. So he does and he's relieved that you're actually nice, and when he gets to know you he finds out that you guys have more in common than he thought. And with that he can't help but want to get to know you even more.

☆Kiyotaka Ishimaru keeps his distance from you. He can't risk being seen around you. It'll ruin his perfect reputation. At least that's what he thinks. He'd catch you in the halls during class time, and as a hall monitor he has no choice but to confront you on it. Thinking you'd give attitude or worse he prepares himself and strides up to you. He asks if you have anywhere to be and if you don't then you'd have to either go to your respective classroom or the office. His voice is loud and carries itself through the halls. You'd respond, voice opposite if his and of what he thought you'd sound like. Apologizing for the inconvenience you walk away and go to your class. Knowing how you sound and how nice you just were he can't help but want you to continue roaming the halls, just so he can talk to you, and just so he can hear your melodic voice.

☆Byakuya Togami doesn't talk to you at all. He doesn't want to be seen around you or people like you. He can't be seen around people who will ruin his reputation and who would ruin the Togami name. He avoids you but that is until you asked him about his Ultimate. You were curious as to what a Prodigy was and were dying to know. He knew you'd try talking to him, that you'd try to get his attention somehow. What he didn't know was why you sounded genuinely curious. Why your face showed genuine interest. It caught him off guard and he just didn't know why he wanted to hear you speak again. Something about your voice and sweet looking eyes drew him in. Did he appreciate his brain and heart going against him? No. But he was surprisingly thankful that you didn't stop bothering him. He liked your voice, soothing and calm, a complete contrast to your outfits and Ultimate.

☆Yasuhiro Hagakure definitely stays away from you. He already has problems with the Yakuza, he can't risk having problems with another gang. Especially the leader of one. Hearing about what happened between him and the Yakuza, you thought about helping him pay off his debt. Calling his name from the opposite side of the hall caused him to jump, it also caused other students to look and scatter, fearing of what you were about to do to the guy. He nervously asked what it is that you wanted. Expecting you to rob him or beat him, just for being in the same hallway as you. But when you pulled out a brown paper bag and handed it to him he was confused. You told him to open it and also told him to keep it, saying how you wanted to help him and that no one should be struggling to pay off the Yakuza by themselves. You walked away and he was left dumbfounded, but thankful for you, smiling to himself and also beating himself up for not thanking you right there.

☆Chihiro Fujisaki doesn't feel safe being around rough looking people, scared of getting bullied for being too weak or to girly looking for a guy. He was working on something, sitting on the ground and typing away on his computer when a guy came up and took it, teasing the smaller boy and calling him names. That's when you stepped in, grabbing the computer back and asking what the problem was, your group surrounding the space. The girls grabbed the guy and moved him to a different end of the hall, "talking" to him and leaving Chihiro with you, the leader. As thankful as he was he's still scared, wondering if you're gonna do something worse to him. You handed him his computer and asked if he was okay, also asking if he wanted to hang out at a Cafe and relax a little. He was still shocked from the events that happened but even more shocked to hear your voice, kind and calming. He accepted your offer and you smiled at him, a genuine smile, causing the boy's heart to skip beat. When you walked off he couldn't help but smile to himself.

She might now show it much by expressions or actions, but she’s very concerned about you—both mentally and physically

Staying up so much to play games can easily damage your mental health, and not eating so much will obviously physically affect you

Kyoko right away is advising you take better care of ur yourself hand will take action on her own hands, even if she has to feed you herself or lay your head on her lap, she’s doing it because she loves you, she thinks with blush coating her cheeks

Anyone who meets Byakuya knows how nadty and harsh he can be

But he is very different towards you and will put ur health as a priority and immediately have you taken care of by the best doctors and when it’s just the two of you, he’ll try to care of you as much as he can—in his own way

Byakuya will scold you but it’s all lighthearted and you can tell he just means it out of love and hope to see you get better by eating more, and sleeping more. And speaking of eating and sleeping, he’ll make sure you’re being given the most nutritious-delicious foods and sleeping in the comfiest mattress with the softest silkiest sheets and blankets

He thinks it’s odd how you’re so into games but he won’t question it too much and will actually help buy more games and even merchandise for any game you really enjoy

The only time he’ll every actually join you to play is when he’s bored out of his mind and he’s completely free to do anything—which is rare

That’s what it said. The letter slipped under your doorway in the heat of the night or the morning you typically slept in on. You scoffed crumpling the letter before tossing it into your trashcan; just to spite him you debated leaving your room at all. You were all for keeping everyone alive and whatnot but the meetings were early and you were never one for following rules anyway. As much as you hated being grouped up with the rich boy you weren’t going to go out of your way to be some other hero type; that’s what Makoto was for. With ease, you settled into your bed drifting into another deep sleep. You’d eat later.

When you awoke, you had no indicator for any time passing. With an audible growl from your stomach, you tiredly sat up, finally setting yourself on a mission to feed yourself. Considering Monokuma hadn’t woken you up obnoxiously you figured nobody had died yet. That was good. Best case scenario it was ‘nighttime’ and you could feast without anyone bothering you. Pushing the handle down you only gave it a nudge with your hip. 

“D-did I forget to lock it?”

You tried the handle again to find the door was still unmovable. Getting irritated quickly you went to kick the door open only for the door to stay in place with the weight of something on the other side. 

“But why would there be something against the door?”

You tried again but to no avail spiraling you into a fit of anger. Turning from the door in a huff you began to take your anger out on the few pieces of furniture. Kicking over the table, throwing out the drawers of the cabinet; you were about to slam off the objects resting on the bolted shelf. Stopping when you see a familiar letter next to a lunch box.
