Signal's approach to this is simple and trustworthy: don't have any data. Like, literally do not have it on your servers.
They've BEEN asked to turn over data. They've BEEN required to turn over data. And they did... but all they had to turn over was "yeah, this person last logged in at this time; sorry, po-po, that's all we got."
It's called data minimization and it ROCKS and I am yelling my fool head off at libraries to do it too (where they aren't; some are) because hell's bells we practically INVENTED it.

PSA: never discuss private affairs in your DMs, especially contraception and abortion. Social media moguls will absolutely sell you out to the government. There are already cases of people being charged based on evidence in their DMs.

I closed out November with a flurry of published stories, some filed weeks ago. I like finishing strong in November, since that’s the last month that freelancers can reasonably expect to write something and get paid for it that year. One of the posts published in the closing hours of last month but not listed below was an extra for Patreon readers: a Web Summit recap covering things that didn’t…

i am begging the other leftists on my fucking dash to stop reblogging anti-voting stuff until the election is over. there are so many doomers on this website who do not have the critical thinking skills to fucking use their brains and tons of them will be genuinely swayed by what they see online.
for the love of god, queue it for after november 5th. queue all your criticism for then. unleash the fucking beast after the election is over. but it is so fucking irresponsible to be reblogging that shit now.

Is it okay if I submit overviews of things from the canons of the fighters as “canon info” to see if anyone comes up with any ideas?
I'm down, though be mindful of the "games I'm currently playing" list (currently consists of FF7, Fire Emblem SDBL, Pac-Man World 3, and Zelda TotK) and avoid spoilers for any games on that list

Context: Millennium is an American television series created by Chris Carter (creator of The X-Files), which aired on Fox from October 25, 1996, to May 21, 1999. The series follows the investigations of ex-FBI agent Frank Black (Lance Henriksen), now a consultant, with the ability to see inside the minds of criminals, working for a mysterious organization known as the Millennium Group.
In addition to Carter, it shares many creatives with The X-Files like Glen Morgan, James Wong, and Mark Snow.
After cancellation, the S7 E4 X-Files episode "Millennium" was used as a crossover to conclude the story. I did not realize that until researching for this post. That explains a lot.
