Ok so good news I have finished unlocking all the oni lore, bad news there wasn't as much left as I was hoping. But on the bright side, Jean and Nails got to do more stuff hell fucking yes
#rat rambles#oni posting#also the nails log is So fucking interesting Im obsessed with it#also rip olivia made the brain stuff hc but Im perfectly ok with this#oh we also got more nikola stuff in the same logs which is fascinating#mostly because it has continued to pile onto the weirdness of the 'evil' log#because evidently managing the time bow wasnt his job for most of his time at gravitas#or at least not a primary responsibility of his#as for nails I find them to be such a delightful character theyre another great example of oni's ability to give its characters such strong#characterizations without letting us know much about any of the cast on a personal level#in particular I love that nails is a part of the 'yeah they totally know' club while also being the closest thing we get to someone's#perspective on the project on a more personal level even if it's not super directly#nails is a person who was very optimistic and admiring of jackie who was all for less regulation until they weren't#they were perfectly fine with the deaths of duplicants for science but smth abt that data crossed a line to them#idk what sort of thing is so horrible that it made someone go from not minding the deaths of a being to going behind their company's back#in a desperate attempt to try to help them even if it ultimately doesnt add up to much#oh and they did at least one test of the memory transferal on a human. we dont know who it is all we're given is a subject number (901)#but well. I kinda feel like theres one option the game may be pointing us towards#theres only one character weve seen with an added number to their work id#anyways hiiiii olivia hows it going over there are you failing to free yourself from the being involved with duplicant stuff allegations#like I was getting real close to admitting that it is possible that she wasnt at all involved with the duplicant program but uh nvm lol#rly the one thing that made me start cracking on my belief that She Knows is thats he never directly talks abt duplicants by namr#she talks abt 'printed subjects' a whole lot but technically speaking that doesnt inherently mean shes talking abt duplicants too#but at the same time. the way she talks abt these printed subjects a lot of the time sure as hell doenst make it sound like critters#like hell the reason she initially quit was not wanting mind control to be implemented into printed subjects#and then theres the email where she requests that the microchips in the 'colonists' are given non survival data too#so like. she knows she totally does she just doesnt call them duplicants#which tbh makes sense given that by all means they basically are humans theyre literally meant to be exact clones#so maybe she never started calling them duplicants when the name was concieved for some reason or another#most likely because of how dehumanizing it is even if she probably doesnt mind other methods of dehumanization on them too much

Importance of Data Analytics in Project Management
Introduction
Data analytics is nothing but the process of collecting, cleaning, and analysing data in order to draw relevant and meaningful information. Considering that it can be used to facilitate decision-making, simplify processes, and promote innovation, it has become an essential tool for businesses of all kinds.
Project management also heavily relies on data analysis. Throughout the course of a project, project managers can utilize data to track progress, spot dangers, and make better decisions.
The significance of data analytics in project management and how it can be applied to boost business results will be covered in this article.
To know about data science course by Nearlearn click here.
There are many benefits to using data analytics in project management, including:
Improved and fast decision making - One of the main problems that a lot of project managers may face during the project management process is the lack of quality decision making. Here, data analysis comes to the rescue. Data analytics can help project managers to make better decisions by providing them with insights related to project risk, performance and opportunities. For example, project managers can take help from data to find out which area of the project is taking more time to complete and which resources are still not properly utilised. This information can then be used to make changes to the project plan and improve efficiency.
Reduced risks - With the help of data analysis, potential risks can be highlighted earlier on and thus decisions can be taken to mitigate the risk. For example, project managers can use data to find trends in project performance and identify areas where the project is falling behind or the areas where there is a scope for more improvements. This information can then be used to develop mitigation strategies and prevent problems from occurring.
Performance boost - By automating tasks and improving workflows, data analytics can help project managers in becoming more efficient. For instance, project managers can automate reporting and progress monitoring tasks using data analytics tools. By this, project managers can utilise most of his time in dealing with more complex parts of the project.
Improved communications - Communication with stakeholders is improved because of data analytics. Project managers should develop trust and confidence by regularly updating stakeholders on the status of the project and any potential dangers. Moreover, with the help of some data analytics and visualisation tools, managers can create interactive dashboards that are easy to understand and then sent to the stakeholders. It will strengthen better communication, transparency and decision-making.
Here are a few examples of how data analytics can be used in project management:
Construction project - To monitor the status of various tasks, identify potential delays, and effectively allocate resources, a construction project manager can employ data analytics. For instance, the project manager can utilise data to monitor the duration of each task, the quantity of materials consumed, and the progress of several milestones. Project managers can also find the areas where there is a shortage of funds and the areas where there is over-utilization of funds by performing data analytics. Data can be used by the project manager to decide how best to allocate resources and reduce risks.
Software development project - Data analytics can be used by a software development project manager to monitor the development of various features, spot potential errors, and control team output. For instance, the project manager can utilise data to track the quantity of code created each day, the number of reported issues, and the time needed to fix them. Data analytics can also be used for budget allocation for each area of the project development. Data can be used by the project manager to make reasonable decisions regarding resource allocation and feature priority.
Marketing project -  To monitor the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns, identify patterns in consumer behaviour, and maximise marketing budgets, a marketing project manager can employ data analytics. Data can be used by the project manager to monitor things like the conversion rate, the amount of leads generated, and website traffic. The most successful marketing campaigns and those that require improvement can then be found using this data. Moreover, data can be used by the project manager to optimise campaign performance and distribute marketing budgets.
How Data Analytics helps Project Managers to stay ahead of the curve:
Assessing the potential risks - Risk is an integral part of any form of business and its projects. If a project has the capability to generate more profits, it will also possess that much amount of risks within it. So, as a project manager, he/she has to mitigate those risks before it's too late. For this, data analytics will be a useful approach.
Things to be considered while performing risk analysis:
o Size and difficulty level of the project
o The nature of the client
o The competence level of the risk manager.
Estimating the completion date - Project managers can use data analytics to simplify the entire process. They can have a look at the areas which are taking more time and the areas that are going to finish. By this way they can estimate the time period within which the project will get completed.
Evaluation of Success - Success measurement used to be more difficult. Only polls or direct client feedback could provide some information. Now more than ever before, businesses can understand more about their customers. Data mining has been the sole factor in making this discovery. By sorting through a lot of data, this technique has allowed the project managers to analyse the trends.
Conclusion
The use of data analytics is essential to project managers. Project managers may increase their chances of success by using data to monitor progress, recognize dangers, and make wise decisions.

𝜗𝜚 THEME: fluff, established relationship 𝜗𝜚 PAIRING: (architect)student!mingyu x fem!reader 𝜗𝜚 WORD COUNT: 980
SYNOPSIS: if there's one thing mingyu finds incredibly sexy, it's intelligence
Tumblr media
“i give up.”
that was honestly the last thing you’d ever expect to hear from your boyfriend. kim mingyu never gave up, and even if - it wasn’t everyday that his ego allowed him to admit to failure.
confused, you looked up from your computer to see what finally managed to defeat him, just to be met with a very pouty, and a very annoyed boyfriend looking at the screen of his own computer, like he had some personal vendetta against it.
you quickly covered your mouth with your hand to hide the smile forming on your face. you didn’t need mingyu to think you were making fun of him. “weren’t you supposed to work on your exam project?” you asked, doing your best not to burst out laughing. there was just something about that hunk of a six foot two man with killer biceps who was sitting opposite you, and pouting like a five year old that made you cackle.
“yes, but i have to use a spreadsheet or whatever to sort out some of the information, and,” he sighed, “i have no idea how to use it.”
with a loud bang, mingyu’s forehead met the table, which would definitely leave a small bump he’d make you kiss better later. huh, so he really gave up.
“i don’t think i understand,” you crooked your head at him, pushing yours and his computers away, so you could lean over and place your hand at the nape of his neck. “kim mingyu, one of the best future architects, doesn't know how to use a spreadsheet?” your boyfriend was smart smart, there was no way he didn’t know a couple of formulas to sort out the data.
mingyu groaned loudly, and shook your hand off his neck. “don’t make fun of me baby,” with a whine, he lifted up his head, revealing big shiny puppy eyes, which were practically begging for your help. “as you said, i’m an architect, not a computer science guy!” he exclaimed, his lips turning more and more pouty with each word.
for a person that loved to make fun of coups and his pout, it didn’t seem like mingyu realised how big of a pouty baby he was himself.
“i don’t think you need to study computer science to know how to use a spreadsheet, gyu,” you said, and ran your thumb over his jutted out lip. “besides, you study maths and physics, shouldn’t you know how to use this kind of stuff?”
“if this is your way of making me feel better it’s not working,” mingyu huffed, grabbing your hand in his. “and i really need to figure this out, but i have no idea how. i tried watching tutorials, but i still don’t get it. like, the more i try to understand it the less sense it actually makes,” his breath ghosted your knuckles, as his lips moved against your fingers.  “please tell me you’re an undercover tech guru, so you can do this for me. ”
you gave mingyu’s hand a little squeeze, and took his computer with your free hand, sliding it over to your side of the table.
“what are you doing?” he asked, confusion lacing his voice.
you shook your head in amusement, and squeezed his hand once again, as you transferred all of the necessary data into a new, empty spreadsheet. “i may not be a tech guru as you called it, but it’s a good thing you have a super smart girlfriend,” you murmured, focused on the screen, “that knows the basics of how to use a spreadsheet.”
you didn't have to look at mingyu to know that his eyes were wide and his mouth open in bewilderment - but it wasn't your fault - it's not like you ever had the opportunity to show off your skills before. besides, mingyu was so in love with you and he was so down bad that you didn't have to do anything special to make him look at you like you just invented a new element.
“it’s really not that hard, you just have to,” the quiet noise of you typing filled your living room for a moment, “you have to know which formals to use.”
mingyu couldn’t tear his eyes off you. how in the world did he manage to bag a girl that was not only insanely beautiful, but also smart as hell? though he couldn’t see what exactly you were doing (not that he cared about that, he wouldn’t understand any of it anyway), mingyu was sure you were doing magic with those damn spreadsheets.
“here,” you said with a proud smile a short while later, “is this what you were meant to do?” you turned the computer around for him to see the, yes - perfectly sorted data, just like his professor wanted them to be.
“you are so fucking hot.”
mingyu couldn’t help himself. he loved acting like he was the smartest in the room, but holy shit - his girlfriend was a genius, and he’d act all dumb just to have her fill out his spreadsheets.
“you are literally the most amazing thing ever, baby,” mingyu breathed, still looking at you with disbelief. “so so smart, and so so mine.”
you snickered, and threw a rolled up napkin at him. “calm down, gyu. that was nothing, seriously.”
“nothing?!” he exclaimed, offended. “nothing, you say? so why was i struggling with it for the past hours?”
“if you paid more attention in class i’m sure you’d manage perfectly on your own,” you said, suddenly shy under his stare. the lovesick look was truly overwhelming. “now, will i get something in return?”
mingyu's expression suddenly seemed to change from pure surprise and admiration to something that pretty much resembled smugness. “what do you have in mind, princess?” he asked, crooking his head at you.
you smiled and pointed your finger at your lips.

LaRue Burbank, mathematician and computer, is just one of the many women who were instrumental to NASA missions.
4 Little Known Women Who Made Huge Contributions to NASA
Women have always played a significant role at NASA and its predecessor NACA, although for much of the agency’s history, they received neither the praise nor recognition that their contributions deserved. To celebrate Women’s History Month – and properly highlight some of the little-known women-led accomplishments of NASA’s early history – our archivists gathered the stories of four women whose work was critical to NASA’s success and paved the way for future generations.
LaRue Burbank: One of the Women Who Helped Land a Man on the Moon
LaRue Burbank was a trailblazing mathematician at NASA. Hired in 1954 at Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory (now NASA’s Langley Research Center), she, like many other young women at NACA, the predecessor to NASA, had a bachelor's degree in mathematics. But unlike most, she also had a physics degree. For the next four years, she worked as a "human computer," conducting complex data analyses for engineers using calculators, slide rules, and other instruments. After NASA's founding, she continued this vital work for Project Mercury.
In 1962, she transferred to the newly established Manned Spacecraft Center (now NASA’s Johnson Space Center) in Houston, becoming one of the few female professionals and managers there.  Her expertise in electronics engineering led her to develop critical display systems used by flight controllers in Mission Control to monitor spacecraft during missions. Her work on the Apollo missions was vital to achieving President Kennedy's goal of landing a man on the Moon.
Eilene Galloway: How NASA became… NASA
Tumblr media
Eilene Galloway wasn't a NASA employee, but she played a huge role in its very creation. In 1957, after the Soviet Union launched Sputnik, Senator Richard Russell Jr. called on Galloway, an expert on the Atomic Energy Act, to write a report on the U.S. response to the space race. Initially, legislators aimed to essentially re-write the Atomic Energy Act to handle the U.S. space goals. However, Galloway argued that the existing military framework wouldn't suffice – a new agency was needed to oversee both military and civilian aspects of space exploration. This included not just defense, but also meteorology, communications, and international cooperation.
Her work on the National Aeronautics and Space Act ensured NASA had the power to accomplish all these goals, without limitations from the Department of Defense or restrictions on international agreements. Galloway is even to thank for the name "National Aeronautics and Space Administration", as initially NASA was to be called “National Aeronautics and Space Agency” which was deemed to not carry enough weight and status for the wide-ranging role that NASA was to fill.
Barbara Scott: The “Star Trek Nerd” Who Led Our Understanding of the Stars

A self-described "Star Trek nerd," Barbara Scott's passion for space wasn't steered toward engineering by her guidance counselor. But that didn't stop her!  Fueled by her love of math and computer science, she landed at Goddard Spaceflight Center in 1977.  One of the first women working on flight software, Barbara's coding skills became instrumental on missions like the International Ultraviolet Explorer (IUE) and the Thermal Canister Experiment on the Space Shuttle's STS-3.  For the final decade of her impressive career, Scott managed the flight software for the iconic Hubble Space Telescope, a testament to her dedication to space exploration.
Dr. Claire Parkinson: An Early Pioneer in Climate Science Whose Work is Still Saving Lives
Tumblr media
Dr. Claire Parkinson's love of math blossomed into a passion for climate science. Inspired by the Moon landing, and the fight for civil rights, she pursued a graduate degree in climatology.  In 1978, her talents landed her at Goddard, where she continued her research on sea ice modeling. But Parkinson's impact goes beyond theory.  She began analyzing satellite data, leading to a groundbreaking discovery: a decline in Arctic sea ice coverage between 1973 and 1987. This critical finding caught the attention of Senator Al Gore, highlighting the urgency of climate change.
Parkinson's leadership extended beyond research.  As Project Scientist for the Aqua satellite, she championed making its data freely available. This real-time information has benefitted countless projects, from wildfire management to weather forecasting, even aiding in monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. Parkinson's dedication to understanding sea ice patterns and the impact of climate change continues to be a valuable resource for our planet.

Breeder Boy
Adam hoisted the suspenders up slowly, his mind numb as he went through the motions of tightening each strap around his shoulder blades.
Tumblr media
“Yeah, that's a good boy,” his best friend Isaac affirmed from behind. “That's my good, obedient breeder boy.”
Adam blinked. He could not remember why Isaac had taken to him after college. The two were practically opposites back then. Isaac was a popular lacrosse player with girls constantly at his side. Adam had been a data analytics nerd who had only managed to kiss one boy in his entire life. And it had been an accident. Their social circles would have never intercepted if it had not been for the Intro to Psychology course they had both taken as an elective.
They had been paired as partners in a simple project exploring different subsects of therapy. Adam and Isaac had been assigned with hypnotherapy, although going in it had been obvious which one of them was actually going to do the work. That was until Adam explained to Isaac what their subject was. The nerd had been shocked to see the jock’s sudden enthusiasm for the subject. Inspired by Isaac's curiosity, Adam had tried his best to answer every question Isaac posed to him.
Tumblr media
"You are about to have one of the best days of your life.” Adam stood still as Isaac’s arms dropped around his head, a black bowtie ready to encircle his throat. “You will smile, laugh, maybe even cry at the sheer beauty of your woman. The ceremony and reception will be branded into your memory forever.”
Adam gulped, his face still emotionless as he tried to process everything. It was like his life had changed after meeting Isaac. After that project, they would be together almost all the time. Whenever Isaac was not at practice, partying, or getting laid, then he would be with Adam. At first, Adam did not understand the sudden friendship that emerged between them, but Isaac had told him to disregard it. In fact, there were a lot of things Isaac had told Adam to forget about.
While it had been too late to completely change his major, Isaac had reasoned with Adam that an accounting degree would be much more beneficial than his current computer sciences. That way, by focusing on business, he would have more time to do what he and Isaac loved, sports. Adam had protested at first, but after Isaac’s well-crafted arguments, his opposition was cleanly dismissed.
After graduation, Isaac was able to spend even more time with Adam. The two often discussed so many different topics that Adam could not quite remember everything they had covered. It was strange how Isaac, someone he had known for only a tiny portion of his life, had known more about Adam than even Adam did. Isaac had clarified early on that he had understood Adam’s wants, goals, and needs. Isaac had joked that Adam should just forget about his former aspirations, as he knew them better anyway.
Tumblr media
“Yup, don't resist it…atta boy,” Isaac praised as he secured the bowtie. Adam fidgeted with his ring, the cold metal foreign to his formerly naked finger.
“That feels good, doesn’t it?” Isaac took notice. “You like knowing you're about to be married to a woman. You like that I helped you become an alpha male. You like to submit to the patriarchy and uphold the traditional masculine supremacy.”
Adam said nothing. It had been just over five years since they had first met. Five years since Isaac had begun reshaping his life, and where was he now? At 27, Adam was a successful businessman at a firm downtown, often working with clients beside Isaac. Adam now enjoyed lacrosse, tennis, and frequent pickleball. Adam spent mornings at the gym and evenings at the bar. And right now, he was about to marry his girlfriend of almost two years, the woman he had fallen in love with and was preparing to dedicate his life to.
“Just think, back in college you were nothing more than a faggy partner for what I thought would be a blow-over of a psych class.” Isaac, his best man, brimmed with excitement. “Now you’re worthy of being a man, a real man, who’s gonna slide that straightened cock into a fertile, tight pussy tonight."
“And at the heart of it all," Isaac sneered. "you were the one who began this whole thing. My good breeder boy.”
Tumblr media
Adam blinked. Butterflies bounced around in his stomach as he tossed the suit jacket over himself. He was excited and nervous as he approached the doors, one of the the best days of his life beginning he entered into the church hall.
"Looking good, man!" Isaac cheered before whispering. “And don’t forget, that baby you're making tonight should be named Isaac.”
Adam chuckled. Isaac had been his best bro, had known more about Adam than he himself had after all. That honor only felt right.
