Cas hums quietly, face smushed into Dean's neck. "Good thing you were wrong."

He's right, Dean supposes. It is a good thing I was wrong. Damn, I'm one lucky sonuvabitch.

"Happy birthday to me," he murmurs and pulls Cas close, presses a kiss to his hair. "Happy birthday to me." 

Cas giggles, nuzzles closer. "Mhm, happy birthday to you. Many a happy birthdays to you, hopefully."

"You saying I'm accident-prone or something'?" Dean huffs, good-natured.

Cas shrugs. "Or something."

At ~11:00 Jensen mentions a quote from Kripke where he says "It's not jumping the shark if you never come down." And honestly, that explains so much about how he's running TB...

Also at ~30:00 (after a fan asks about which character Jensen would play on TB besides SB and he talks about how Butcher is basically what Kripke wanted to do with Dean but couldn't) Jared says "Eric Kripke had sent me a text on my birthday like 'dude I can't believe you're 40, I remember thinking you were too young to play Sam and now you're too old' he has a funny sense of humor. But he did say like 'hey, we had Ackles on the show, when are you gonna come play?' and I was like 'well, I'd love too I just have to go do like 4 months of squats cause I know you're gonna show my ass so...' Maybe I can sneak on sometime, I'd love to."

So basically Kripke has talked to Jared more about being on TB than Jensen has about him being on TW... interesting...

But for real, I know a lot of people asked Jensen and Kripke about JDM and Jared being on during s3 promo and they said they would love it blah blah typical PR answer but I hadn't really expected him to actually mention it to Jared. Especially since Jared had done an interview shortly after s2 of Walker ended where the interviewer brought it up about Kripke talking about getting him on TB and he seemed surprised like he hadn't heard anything about it yet:

Now we know Kripke brought it up on his bday so apparently that was the first he heard about it but I kinda just thought it would be a thing talked about for promo and never mentioned again. I bet AA's are about to absolutely lose their collective shit... again... like they did when it was brought up during TB press.

Eric Kripke is reliving his middle-school boy days while TB comic book creator Garth Ennis continues to live out his perpetual teenager days, which frankly I find off putting.

“Butcher is basically what Kripke wanted to do with Dean but couldn't”...Butcher reminds me more of John Winchester, obsessed over what happened to his wife and swallow his feelings all for the for the sake that obsession.  Maybe I can see Dean Winchester in S2 Butcher who is seems to exist to act cute and make cringy quips.  We the audience experience The Boys world through Hugie/Starlight with Butcher as our tour guide and mentor to Hughie, in similar ways we experience Supernatural through Sam with Dean as our tour guide and mentor to Sam.

Jared celebrated his birthday a month early, around the time of the TV Line interview.  After months of people asking Kripke if Jared will be on TB and reporting it, I guess Kripke figured he should actually communicate with Jared on his birthday and avoid another big faux pas that ignited prequel-gate.  In fact, let’s have another look back on June 24 2021 and laugh over it.

Remember kids, this rule applies in your personal life and at your job: Never Assume.

“AA's are about to absolutely lose their collective shit... again... like they did when it was brought up during TB press.”  

Oh yeah, AA lost their shit over that TV Line interview and accused Jared of pulling a Jensen by asking Kripke for a job, until Damian Holbrook shut them down and said he, not Jared, was the one that brought it up with Kripke.  Jared never contacted Kripke about appearing on TB, and now we learn that it was Kripke to contacted Jared to be on TB.   That’s must feel like a carpet burn to the AAs since as far as we know, Kripke never contacted Jensen about appearing on TB.

Okay sooo.... I read this twitter thread and now I get why people are so angry. Chad teased destiel multiple times and now he is denying it and acting like those who were expecting it are crazy. Of course this doesn't mean it's okay to harass people on twitter but we are all so tired of being gaslighted like that. There are fans that are genuinely just trying to make him understand what he did was harmful and he shouldn't just invalidate this beautiful thing we did for ourselves celebrating the wedding. So I, as a resident of Tumblr who doesn't give much fucks about actors opinions, wouldn't even try to interact with the guy, but I do understand why people are so upset over this. Hope you all take care and try to be respectful even while upset!

in a kinder universe mary doesn’t walk in on azazel. she never burns. she and john divorce after a few years, but sam and dean grow up happy for the most part. things aren’t perfect, but they aren’t an endless string of motel rooms, killing people that your father says aren’t quite people before age 10, sips of whiskey far too young while your brother’s shaky hands stitch up a bullet hole in your arm, giving up on making friends because you’ve never stayed anywhere longer than a month.

there’s the mostly normal stuff - teenage angst and blowout fights, slammed doors and blasting rock music, first loves and breakups, and a nagging thought that never quite lets up in sam’s mind that he’s evil deep down, something that twists in his gut at the way mary looks at him sometimes - but everyone’s okay. when sam goes to college, he comes home for breaks and birthdays, makes quick calls to his mother every sunday and and long ones to dean whenever he needs to complain about his roommates. he and john don’t have the warmest relationship, get into biting arguments about politics whenever they talk, but they do talk.

but no universe has ever been truly kind. sam disappears from his apartment a few days before his 24th birthday and is found dead in a ghost town in south dakota a week later. mary leaves identical voicemails to john and dean. “i’m going to fix this.” they don’t see her again.

i want it to be very clear that while i do think sam & dean’s relationship is toxic that is not at all because they are each other’s most important person. it’s not toxic to have your most important person be a family member or friend instead of a romantic partner. it’s not toxic to want to spend your life with someone in a non-romantic non-sexual context, or to want to live with someone who is not a romantic partner. it’s just toxic to be abusive or bring someone back from the dead against their will or trick them into being possessed. it’s also toxic to be serial killers.

i had a dream last night that you messaged me for help making a spn themed bday party for a friend so i flew out there, and we found gnome-sized cas and dean robotic statues for it; they were so lifelike and we hoped itd make the bday person super happy. we had the dean one sit underwater in a pond and then spring out to say happy bday, and then we put cas in a cake so he could pop out of it to also say happy bday

I am so genuinely sorry that I have forced you via my blog to see so much Supernatural content in 2021 for it to start invading your dreams but this is so fucking funny

ellooo doeee not a good morning today cos babas and pretprot grabe gyd ang saba2 buntag sayo pa kaayo 🥲 naa silay gina awhag ug grabe gyd doe tas di jd sila ga stop and ga singgitan na nako sila nga pasulod sa room and musulod sila but hawa rapd back to awhaging!!! aishhh the idiots disturbing me doeee kamata na nuon ko 8 palang huhu my morning not productive jd doe cos not nice ako pag wake up kulang pa sleep!!! but naka sleep ko again mga 1 hr lang ehhe just had nuggets for lunch doeee cos im so kapoy gyd to cook i feel so tired my body is aching!!!

i pa aircon in my old room pagkahapon doe cos so igang in my idiot room uyyy heheh but di ko paka sleep gyd nag help nalang ko finalize sa mga need i finalize and i edit sa amo papers hehe just chat2 in da gc and sometimes mag piyong2 pd but cannot sleep gyd 🤦🏻‍♀️ watch2 nalang pd dayon ko kdraa and sooo bitin ang vincenzo doe next week pa ang sunod nga eps and its so thrilling na and so sad da ep today gipatay iya mom saiya kontra HMMMPPPFFF issa had 3 breads with nutella dayon and iced coffee for snackieee heheh then i pugos myself to work na dayon doe cos ion wanna waste the day nga wa gyd gi dooo ako gitiwas ang gipa do ni ate sweet uyyy pabayad lang dayon ko 100 cos not dat lisod man and sya man ako gipa buy saako pills and its 700 doe tas 500 ra ako gibayad 🤣🤣 so smol lang ako pangayo hehe and she also gave me my bday gift na yeheeeyyy

in da gabii i cooked adobooo i send u dat so yummy my cooking doe hahahaha issa i also worked 8:30-10:30 doeee nag write ko sa amo script for talkshow anddd nag make nalang pd kog CV nako basin diay madawat?!?! ahhahaha nanakit ako likod after doeee but sge lang atleast i ended dis day productivelyyyy and wala nako na waste gyd hehe tomorrow dapat mas productive na!!!! u also okayyy be productive sa werk and acads!! cos last 4 weeks of 3rd year nalang doeee omg let’s go!!!! we will be dean’s listers pa 😜

hello, im new baby heller <3

So; a little log of an update 💙💚

After witnessing the supernatural media phenomenon that was 5th of November 2020, i thought to myself, you know what? i will try and give this show a go. 

Before this, i have had the privilege of reading Twist and Shout (yes. i know.) so i went into it half aware who dean and cas were.

And hence, with the help of my two trusted veteran heller friends @camphipp​​ (who expertly curated episodes for me to skim without missing any of the necessary action) and @athene-noctua08​ (who sent me tumblr posts relevant to the seasons id have just watched, to keep me in the loop) i started to delve into the show from December 1st 2020. 

And boy was it a journey.

Three months of continuously watching at least 3 - 4 episodes every day, with scene-by-scene analysis through relentless screenshots and two hour discussions with my friends after each season, and dodging tumblr, twitter, youtube and pinterest spoilers to preserve my viewing experience, i finally finished the whole series on 5th of March 2021, the 4th monthly anniversary of Despair. and no i did not watch 15x19 or 15x20, they dont exist i believe.

I dont even have the right words to explain what an experience the whole thing has been. 

‘Unforgettable’ is one i can start with. 

During this three-month project (yes i have to call it a Project for all the effort that went into it from my two friends sides, seriously) i have watched my fav characters develop, grow and flourish, be mistreated and misunderstood and misinterpreted, ive celebrated deans bday, destiels first valentines day and had the opportunity to witness the destiel wedding phenomenon on twt (filtered for spoilers ofcourse)

In a way, my two friends have revisited the series with me and im told the whole journey helped bring, if not a lot, a little closure from the way the series ended. 

Its quite a ride to be in s16 :D 

In January’21, midst my spn marathon, these two chaotic gremlin friends of mine gifted me a new drawing tablet (a beautiful Kamvas13) for my birthday and i haven't stopped sobbing since. i have made numerous test-drive doodles of dean and cas as i watched episodes, because i am a weak soul with unhinged gremlin energy myself. i will post those as soon as ive caught up on some work (i forgot i had a life??oops??)

TLDR; i watched spn and i am officially destiel and johnlock trash who cannot stop drawing both.
