#i finished the storm of echoes a few days ago and bro #it's just not it.#at first i excused it thinking maybe i'm just too dumb for the plot - which is very much possible and fine -#but honestly? even if thats the case - possibly it is -#it's still unnecessarily complicated and complex #random characters have such great importance even over the ones you know from book one #and I can't help but feel bitter about it #like who the hell is this kid who appeared like in a few chapters and now it'd literally > the answer ™<??????#and also that ending is so bad #so so so bad #i love christelle and the books became so dear to me #i do have the apparent controversial opinion that each book is better than the previous one #but then the fourth happens and omg #it reminds me why i dont read series anymore #the storm of echoes #the mirror visitor #christelle dabos

Since Sally is only one who's gotten answer an ask (when she wasn't allowed), I decided to let Eddie answer this one!

"I deliver all kinds of letters, packages, and parcels! Let's see, earlier today I delivered a letter to Frank from Wally, a package to Julie from Poppy, and visitor mail to just 'bout every neighbor!

If I get a letter addressed to you then of course you can have it, Visitor. It's your mail after all!"

To clarify, Eddie doesn't give out mail to visitors unless its an item they lost that he's returning. Visitors can send mail to the resident neighbors though!

HIS EYES!! (well eye) i found out how i wanna render eyes now! its sooo pretty... i kept staring at it cuz of how pretty it is #augh... while making this post i was like: is his lips a lil off-- and so i went to adjust another thing once again #NOW!!! IM FINALLY FREED!!! good grief pls... he looks okay now? hes great now. no more adjustments. hes wonderful #anyway-- i made him... a lil too prettier but like tbf-- he is a mermaid here that sometimes uses his looks to lure in his preys #my dear son looks so pretty and innocent but the moment you get near and let your guard down hes gonna CHOMP you #also the like-- setting is a cave with an open ceiling thats why it looks like that. hes amphibious so he doesnt really need #water tbf. its a nice cave for sunbathing (and possibly waiting for clueless visitors for a nice meal)

had a four hour dream where my ex and i were stuck in the same house and arguing there was tension and intrigue and bright colors and family and chickens and people playing irl minecraft and cats. it was wonderful

#in the last part i remember they were stomping around the garden #but the far edge because everyone was out on the lawn working on some new garden plots and a chicken coop #so they looked really silly trying to be mad but near a bunch of kids having a good time #and i had just finished locking myself in our room to cry and wallow so i had just come outside to get lunch #someone had ordered mexican food #and my dear ex had come in while i obviously did not want any visitors and told me to venmo the person who got food for everyone #and reminded me to include tax #so i was also mad about that in addition to the central plot conflict #and in the ending scene i got to help decide what sort of chickens we wanted but they were still sulking #so i chose two regular chickens two fancy chickens and two silkie chickens #but the fancy chickens were like bright as fuck neon colors!#and this guy walking down the street had a neon salamander pet that was the size of s medium dog and he told us where to find them #and then i woke up before any chickens #lunch #or reconciliation could happen #yes i am hungover thank you for asking
